Everything has been peaceful in Nairn snow has come, and everyone is enjoying their time preparing for the Yule Festivities. Though some of the kids who wander into the nearby forest have come back to town scared, and sometimes even a little bruised up. Upon inspection when some of the adults have gone to see what lies beyond they have come back injured as well. According to all accounts it appears some of the nearby deer have been mutated by large amounts of mana, and become quite aggressive. It is up to you to fend them off, and prevent the townsfolk from being harassed further.

After fending off the Reindeer it appears as that was only the beginning, as some more ferocious creatures have appeared, three days after defeating the Reindeer large chunks of snow, and ice have begun to fly into the city from seemingly nowhere. The Mages from the Church have erected a protective barrier to keep the town safe for the most part from the flying debris, but have made an urgent request of you to go, and stop whoever or whatever is trying to harm the town, and it’s citizens.

The Town, and the Church are both on edge trying to figure out what is going on, and causing such a strange occurrence near their home. They have even begun to actively enlist the help of the Azure Deer who share the city with them to figure this out. However during a meeting with everyone present including yourselves a rumbling can be felt almost like an earthquake. When everyone goes outside what sees them shakes you all to the core. A Candycane man, the scent of peppermint fills the air, but despite it’s sweet appearance, and scent it starts to try, and destroy the town. Standing well above a two story house it is up to you to stop it while the knights, and church evacuate the city.

The town suffered no major losses, since the Candycane Man was defeated, property damage can be fixed over time, but no lives were lost. As everyone is resting, and recuperating all the fire in the town gets sapped. The warmth immediately leaves the entire city, and it feels incredibly cold as if all the heat your body has is being drained for some reason. Going to investigate you see a man in the center of the town standing still with townspeople frozen near him. This man stands still like an ice sculpture before turning his gaze to you. Eyes that are crimson like blood stare back at you. Reaching out with his hand you feel the warmth drain from your blood.

[break]Combat Style: Mr. Frost looks to be made of ice which would make you think that he is vulnerable to fire, but that is not the case. He absorbs heat to make himself feel alive again. Fire, Ember, Lava, Boil, and Solar magic heal him rather than hurt him. Sound based magic on the other hand is incredibly effective against him, and deals double damage if you overcome his durability by 10 or more points.

Mr. Frost is incredibly fast, seemingly able to disappear for brief moments only to reappear near you to hack at you with his incredibly sharp claws. If you try to stay at a range you risk the wrath of his Icicle Spears (Which have the stats of a Senior Spell for Range, and Speed.) If you get within 20 meters of him his Absolute Zero aura will begin to drain the heat from your body making you take Intermediate damage while healing him for that much. Compared to all the other enemies you have faced up until now, something seems off.

Now you know the truth all of the strange happenings have been caused by someone who has not been seen in a few years. A madman who once called a frigid cave his home, but was presumed to be dead after several groups of Magic Knights invaded his home, to purify his evil spirit. However, due to the machinations of Mr. Frost all of the death he caused in Nairn has forced the malignant Krampus to be revived. Bruised, and battered, you must now make your final stand to save Yule from the clutches of the deranged Krampus. Still in the center of Nairn where you defeated Mr. Frost how will you handle this foe without losing more lives?

[break]Combat Style: Krampus is angry that he was defeated before so easily, and his anger has manifested in him being stronger, and more wanton to destruction than before. A blizzard constantly surrounds Krampus within an area of 20 meters. It acts as both a shield, and deterrent, fending off attacks while slicing those who enter it for Senior Ranked damage. If you do not completely destroy the Blizzard Shield it will simply regenerate back to full health (It has Grand Health).

Within his blizzard Krampus will hurt Snowballs at his enemies, flinging them at an incredibly fast pace (For the purpose of range, and speed the snowballs are Senior ranked). Those who are hit by these take Senior damage, and suffer a -2 m/s speed debuff. As the snow melts, and then freezes into ice around their bodies slowing them down. This debuff lasts until they are cleansed by a healer, or if they take an attack from a Mage with heat based magic (The rank of the attack doesn’t matter.)

Krampus prefers to fight not up close, and personal with his enemies preferring to stay within his shield, and just batter them with his Snowballs. How will you defeat this foe?

It had only been mere days that Magnus found himself in the common region of Nairn once again, it hadn't taken long to get there with his flying carriage "Charmed Living" the item being both a comfortable and easy ride, however, upon getting close to the village, Magnus directed the carriage to fly lower to the ground, eventually before coming to ride simply on the snow-covered ground itself. The city walls seemed to have a magical blue barrier surrounding it, the color of it was dazzling to Magnus especially considering the puffs of snow and ice that clung to it from the winter weather giving it a bit of ambiance if it wasn't for the fact that he had been told by Captain Lilygate to come back to the city on an urgent mission request he very well imagined that this would be a great time to stop and painting, sans a few large shards of ice and snow coming his way. As his carriage neared the city outskirts, Magnus saw what looked like large chunks of ice and snow littered around it almost as if they had been thrown, which for sure fit the description of the mission he had received.

Thankfully as he neared the entrance to the city the magic barrier parted ever so slightly for his carriage to pass through, before closing behind him immediately thanks to some mages from the church hard at work trying to protect the city. A few of the mages approached his carriage for verification purposes, prompting Magnus to get up from his seat in the spacious nearly 20-foot room inside the carriage. Magnus opened up his window to allow them to see his mantle and flashed the mission invoice through the window, before closing it after receiving the okay to move forward, and he willed his carriage to do just that as he returned to his seat for the remainder of the ride into the city, folding the mission invoice up neatly into a square and placing it in his pocket. The city was clearly still under tight guard, and he didn't mind having to stop and being checked verified considering the unknown issues going on with the city currently. Thankfully the process to get in was easier for him, not only because he was a magic knight, but because he was one who had recently helped out the city with another issue they were having.

Thanks to Magnus's help with the reindeer, the fresh Blue Rose magic knight made his way into the city, his carriage came to rest by a nearby in, one of which was decided as the meeting spot for him and another Magic Knight of whom he had worked alongside before, and greatly respected. This magic knight also happened to have helped him out of a rather precarious situation when he made a rather large blunder, one of which he didn't plan on making today, and it was because of this to his dismay that magic sat free of his usual winter wafting scent of maple and peppermint as he awaited the arrival of Griswold. Through his contacts, he had made sure to send an advance piece of mail to Griswold, and designated this cozy little inn made of mahogany wood as the meeting place. He stepped out of his carriage, willing the magical flying contraption to turn itself back into the small little silver trinket which he quickly placed into his pocket, before walking inside. He sat down at the bar of the inn, and when asked what he was drinking he simply stated he'd have a mug of hot chocolate, immediately draining the contents of the mug as sat.

Unlike the previous days he had met Griswold this yule, Magnus rested in the seat of his usual attire of a black suit, with a white shirt and blue tie. His Blue Rose mantle draped across his shoulders, and a variety of stares glanced over him in shock, awe, and general confusion of why such a large muscular man had ever been allowed to wear such a mantle when it was usually adorned by the most beautiful women in the kingdom. Hushed whispers filled the air around him, some coming to the very tip of his eardrum, of which he opted to ignore. Magnus had already begun to live out part of his daughter's dream, and he wouldn't let others snide opinions or comments get the better of him, instead, he simply asked for another mug of hot chocolate which he sipped on once received it and tipped the barkeep well as he waited.

Magnus's mind mulled over the thoughts of the mission invoice he had received, apparently, some creatures had appeared a few days after he and Griswold had taken care of the reindeer, and to the towns, dismay had begun to wreak havoc on the city through the usage of large chunks of snow and ice. Though as to where the exact location of these creatures and attacks came from, Magnus currently had no idea as they weren't listed on the mission paper that he had unfolded from his pocket before glancing over. What he did know was that whatever was at work was a danger to the town and citizens and it was his and Griswold's job to find and put a stop to whatever was behind it. So Magnus decided to bide his time sipping his hot chocolate until Griswold made it to him, and decided to enjoy the warm atmosphere of the mahogany inn.

Summary:

A masterfully crafted two-inch long white gold pin in the shape of a paintbrush in the middle of the handle lays a very rare unique sapphire blue moonstone.

At the origins of house Aurelius being recognised as nobles a set of eight unique pins were made, each pin was designed with a specific artistic or scholarly pursuit in mind and each having a differing type or rare gem or variant of a semi-precious gem inlayed on it somewhere. One was then given to each elder of the house.

The way they decided who would wear which pin was dependant on the pursuit that aligned with each pin. This meant the elder who found beauty in the craft of calligraphy would be given the pin which had the scroll and quill whereas the elder who found beauty in gardening would wear the pin-shaped like a rose in full bloom.

As an elder retired they would pass the pin to their successor. Who would then take on the responsibilities of every elder that wore the pin before them. It is believed that every elder on their final day of wearing the pin puts a slither of their mana into it so they might be able to guide those that come after them. Some elders have said they have felt the presence of their ancestors from the pin especially during times of great turmoil or stress.

They've said as they become more attuned with their craft and the understanding of their duties the pin has given them a strength they didn't know they otherwise possessed. It is because of this these pins are seen as more than just a status symbol but something to be proud of and protected so that the future of the family can continue in its pursuit to serve those that would require their services.

Unbeknownst to anyone the wearer has just asked for aid and the mana left behind by Mateo Aurelius while he wore the pin has answered the call. Around the wearer, a silvery-blue aura has appeared increasing their speed allowing them the opportunity to try and avoid tricky situations. In addition to this, it heals the one within the aura for junior rank damage it will also actively attempt to cleanse them of any poisons, venoms, debuffs, curses or hexes using the clashing rules for cleansing. The black market has some strange people working for it and they had managed to find a few rare charms that were abandoned in some ruins within the Aristaeus’ Basin. What it actually did wasn't known until recently and by accident at that but it seems like it comes in handy as a mode of transportation with all the comforts of home.

This item can be given two additional abilities and can be upgraded even if you don't have the elements this will be charged at double the cost unless you have both elements that the charm has then it will be standard cost.

Simply throwing the charm is the way to activate this ability as it nears the ground it transforms itself into a base in the shape of a carriage with six winged horses which draw it to its location.

The carriage is able to house up to three people comfortably and is fifteen cubic meters inside but takes around to form. Healing spells cast within the carriage will cost 20% less. Unlike most abilities as this is a base, only the sustain cost will ever be charged from the moment of its creation. Although spells of this rank can go as far as 40m the charm holder can go no further than 10m from the carriage or it will return back to its charm form. The carriage is able to move at 15 m/s at this rank.

When opening the door of the carriage it seems like it's filled with liquid but going through it takes a person to what would seem like a lavish room that is warm and filled with delicious foods and drinks so that they may enjoy the comforts of home even when on the road.

Where the odd reindeer had seemed like a one time thing, a strange occurrence likely caused by some magic zone out there such as the Basin, Griswold hadn’t directly been counting on a whole lot more events aimed against the same town. Since he still had a frozen tower that needed climbing to have whatever villainous being resided at the top overthrown, he really did not have the time to deal with these kinds of summons. However, since it had come from Magnus, he had decided to make an exception. That, and he was actually still in town after having taken the deer deep into the forest before eventually releasing them and putting into them a general fear towards all things human. Believing that might keep them from coming back and trying to snack on more humans, Griswold had made his way down into the tavern proper.

As he hadn’t the intention of sleeping outside in a bedroll in the snow and cold, he had been renting a room up there for the past days as he readied himself to get back out into the fray. But with the summons he had received that had been asking for him specifically, it made him wonder how these people always managed to find him. That said, when one had the right amount of money to hire the right kind of people, it might not be all that difficult to track those down that had worked up some kind of a reputation around these parts. People talked after all, people talked a lot. While he had been packing his things, he had managed to sense that someone had begun erecting some kind of barrier across town, which honestly wasn’t something he had been expecting as he had never seen such kind of magic be used before.

Finding it odd that someone would use a shield to try and cover a whole town, it made him wonder as to who had taken point in such an undertaking. Believing it to be quite difficult and particularly taxing to create and maintain such a thing, he set foot outside of the tavern for a bit to go out and find one of the vocal points of the shield. After a while of searching, it seemed that one of these vocal points was a member of the church of clover, noticing a ripple in the shield every once in a while. As the man seemed too focused on keeping the barrier up to have time for a conversation, Griswold returned to the tavern to see if Magnus had arrived yet. And if he did, if he might have the answers that matched his questions, as someone had to know this was going to be happening before they asked for his presence within the town.

When he entered the place, it seemed that Magnus had indeed arrived already, which was a good thing. Finding that it was often best to ask whatever questions arose while they were still fresh in memory, he didn’t get to the point of taking a seat as he felt that this whole situation was rather pressing for time.

Magnus sipped from his hot chocolate taking in the sweet taste and aroma as it danced on his tongue. The large man actively ignore all the stares that met his gaze but upon ordering another cup of hot cocoa and tipping the bartender well, alongside seeing his Aurelius family pin the barkeeps' mood seemed to change drastically, especially realizing that the man was not only a noble but from that Magnus was sure he came to the conclusion that the man was also aware of the fact that Magnus was a true blue Magic Knight, as many nobles would be fools to appropriate such a person.

As he placed his mug down, Magnus heard the door to the tavern open, and as he had done each time when it previously opened he turned his head to steal a glance behind. This time, however, it seemed he wouldn't be asking for yet another cup of hot cocoa as who had been waiting for arrived, and in his usual attire no less making him all the easily distinct for Magnus to recognize.

He turned to the man, a wide grin on his face, and though Magnus's first instinct was to put the word "Sir" before Griswold's name he instead opted not to know the man wasn't a fan of such formalities. "Griswold, lovely to see you again, although I wish it were under better circumstances." Magnus said as he placed his mug of hot cocoa down on the table.

"As we're pressed for time I'll skip any other formalities and get straight to the point. I received a mission from Captain Lilygate, apparently, after we get rid of the reindeer some more creatures began to appear on the outskirts of town, they've been launching large chunks of snow and ice. Or perhaps this could be the work of a mage similar to the imp incident. The mages for the church have since placed a barrier around town for the time being but it won't last forever. My job is to find these creatures and put a stop to it, however, as I have no idea what I'm dealing with nor have I been fortunate enough to have a talent in sensory magic. As such, I am humbly requesting your assistance." Magnus didn't truly know what was going on, what these creatures were, or if it was yet another summoner using magical creatures to do his bidding, however, what he did know was a mage who was familiar with creatures, monsters, sensory magic, and competent combat skills.

If Griswold agreed to help Magnus would turn toward the door, making his way toward the exit, while grabbing the silver carriage trinket from his pocket and tossing it out in front of him, watching as the small silver trinket expanded into a large carriage pulled by six-winged horses. He turned back to Griswold, "I figured we could take my flying carriage, to scout and alongside your sensory skills as we'd be able to dodge any oncoming projectiles and get a clear overview of what we may be dealing with. However, if you'd prefer to trudge through the snow instead that's also an option." Magnus said, the offer on the table, he trusted in Griswold's judgment, and whatever the man wanted to do he'd oblige.

When these items were built they were made out of a special material that allows them to be unbreakable from any sort of attack, but does not block the wearer from any attacks. Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom has worn these Mantles for hundreds of years.

A Magical Ornate Paint Brush Set that comes with five 4-inch Paint Brushes in total all with different widths and styled bristles. The paintbrushes are ornate in design, with swirls of small patterns and silver in color. They have purple bristles that fade into white at their tips. Nothing is too special about these paintbrushes on their own except they are sturdy and have no need for a palette as they are capable of producing any color of paint on their own with a small infusion of mana. These paintbrushes were a gift to Magnus from his mother when he was younger and as such he cherishes them dearly but also uses them for his magic. However, as they are a magical set, they all share the same durability, thus if his weapon was to break even if it was just one paint brush due to an attack capable of destroying a junior rank weapon all of them would break. Outside of the fact that they can release paint, these weapons are nothing more than blunt objects. As such they cannot be used to stab or pierce without the usage of a spell or its ability.

He uses shades of white, gray, pinks, greens, and yellows to create the shape of a humanoid body, specifically a woman with long hair. The paint flows to life, taking greater depth and shape from the image, revealing a portrait of a young woman with dark gray to green hair, pink mystical eyes, a gray dress, and glowing pink and yellow flowers blossoming from her. The golem has a sheen to its skin like wet paint. The golem is a Scout type and as such is built for speed, flight, and sensory.

A masterfully crafted two-inch long white gold pin in the shape of a paintbrush in the middle of the handle lays a very rare unique sapphire blue moonstone.

At the origins of house Aurelius being recognised as nobles a set of eight unique pins were made, each pin was designed with a specific artistic or scholarly pursuit in mind and each having a differing type or rare gem or variant of a semi-precious gem inlayed on it somewhere. One was then given to each elder of the house.

The way they decided who would wear which pin was dependant on the pursuit that aligned with each pin. This meant the elder who found beauty in the craft of calligraphy would be given the pin which had the scroll and quill whereas the elder who found beauty in gardening would wear the pin-shaped like a rose in full bloom.

As an elder retired they would pass the pin to their successor. Who would then take on the responsibilities of every elder that wore the pin before them. It is believed that every elder on their final day of wearing the pin puts a slither of their mana into it so they might be able to guide those that come after them. Some elders have said they have felt the presence of their ancestors from the pin especially during times of great turmoil or stress.

They've said as they become more attuned with their craft and the understanding of their duties the pin has given them a strength they didn't know they otherwise possessed. It is because of this these pins are seen as more than just a status symbol but something to be proud of and protected so that the future of the family can continue in its pursuit to serve those that would require their services.

When they get to their target the rose petals seem to dance around them the gentle glow of the pure aura petals giving off a soothing feeling that heals for junior rank damage. In addition to this, it will also actively attempt to cleanse them of any poisons, venoms, debuffs, curses or hexes using the clashing rules for cleansing. Using the ammo rules additional people may be healed per trigger by adding their names at the end of the scatter command word.

Closing their eyes while taking a deep breath whispering "Elders guide me" is how this spell is activated. It would mean little to nothing to anyone but the wearer of the pin as it is them. The gem seems to take on a silvery blue sheen to it as the pin itself glows in a similar colour. Unbeknownst to anyone the wearer has just asked for aid and the mana left behind by Mateo Aurelius while he wore the pin has answered the call. Around the wearer, a silvery-blue aura has appeared increasing their speed allowing them the opportunity to try and avoid tricky situations. In addition to this, it heals the one within the aura for junior rank damage it will also actively attempt to cleanse them of any poisons, venoms, debuffs, curses or hexes using the clashing rules for cleansing. Using the ammo rules additional people may be healed per trigger by the wearer touching them leaving a glowing silvery-blue rose mark where they touched.

A detailed silver charm in the shape of a regal carriage that any self-respecting noble would be seen in, the carriage itself does not seem to have horses. The charm itself is around half an inch long and half an inch tall.

The black market has some strange people working for it and they had managed to find a few rare charms that were abandoned in some ruins within the Aristaeus’ Basin. What it actually did wasn't known until recently and by accident at that but it seems like it comes in handy as a mode of transportation with all the comforts of home.

This item can be given two additional abilities and can be upgraded even if you don't have the elements this will be charged at double the cost unless you have both elements that the charm has then it will be standard cost.

Description:

Simply throwing the charm is the way to activate this ability as it nears the ground it transforms itself into a base in the shape of a carriage with six winged horses which draw it to its location.

The carriage is able to house up to three people comfortably and is fifteen cubic meters inside but takes around to form. Healing spells cast within the carriage will cost 20% less. Unlike most abilities as this is a base, only the sustain cost will ever be charged from the moment of its creation. Although spells of this rank can go as far as 40m the charm holder can go no further than 10m from the carriage or it will return back to its charm form. The carriage is able to move at 15 m/s at this rank.

When opening the door of the carriage it seems like it's filled with liquid but going through it takes a person to what would seem like a lavish room that is warm and filled with delicious foods and drinks so that they may enjoy the comforts of home even when on the road.

With every passing year, it seemed that there was never really a shortage of things he hadn’t seen before. Imagining that there would come a point where things would no longer come as a surprise to him, that moment where he could say he had just about seen it all, that point had not come yet. So when it turned out that the place had been locked down by a magical barrier due to outside attacks related to some sort of creatures throwing large and heavy objects, he wondered why no one had informed him of it. If people had asked, he would have helped them in taking care of the issue before the barrier even needed to be erected. And while he did not know the kind of creatures that they would be dealing with, if he were to go all out, no mere wild animal was ever going to stand a chance against his magic.

It was one of those reasons why he rarely ever used his magic, aside from it being too destructive to use within a forest, town or city setting.

“I see… well, you may consider the request accepted. As for the carriage, if you believe that might be the best way to locate them, then that is what we’ll use.”

Heading outside and letting Magnus go through the motions of preparing the carriage for aerial travel, they got themselves up and about. Being the first time he had ever been in such a thing, the closest thing so far he had been to traveling by air was when he had used his broom, the other time when he rode on the great fire spirit, Salamander’ back. When he thought about it, Griswold was probably one of the few in this world that could say they had been carried on the back of a dragon, as the species itself did not exist as far as his knowledge went. Even the Salamander itself wasn’t really a dragon, but rather a physical manifestation of the fire spirit itself that instils the most fear and respect in those that witness it first-hand. And nothing screamed “danger” as much as a mythical beast such as a dragon.

So as they had taken to the sky and began scouting out the area, the black knight understood why someone would wish to travel by chariot rather than by using something along the lines of a broom, or god forbid, walking. For Griswold, the choice to use a horse for the sake of transportation made the whole traveling thing a lot more comfortable. Still, a saddle was never going to be as comfortable as an actual seat. When Griswold felt the first signs of abnormal mana along the outskirts of town, and by that he meant anything greater than that of the average civilian, it was clear to him that this was where they needed to go. Opening the door enough to the point where he could stick most of himself out in order to get a good look as to what these beings might be, they were unlike anything he had ever seen before. They had fur and a build as thick as a bear, though their build was almost humanoid.

In a way, they looked a little bit like Franklin’s golems, things he believed he had called “simians”. Not really sure what that was as he hadn’t ever encountered such a thing aside from the golems, Griswold was almost catapulted out of the opening when one of the creatures had decided to toss a large boulder at them. Aiming to toss them out of the sky, the hit barely missed them, though it was made clear that they should put the whole damn thing down on the ground sooner rather than later. On the upside of things, at least the creatures had shifted their focus away from the town and onto what they believed to be the greater danger to themselves. And they were quite right in making that assumption, as the carriage carried the people who were going to be putting a stop to them real soon. Whether they could do it without killing them however, that remained to be seen.

“Set us down over there before they wreck the carriage.”

Ready to vacate the carriage as soon as they were even remotely close to the ground, Griswold was already busy picking his first target to take out so that this whole assault thing might be put to a quick end.

Magnus waited to see what Griswold's response would be, though he figured the magic knight would help, he couldn't be entirely sure. After all, the man was a busy person, every time he had encountered Griswold it was because of some twist of fate that involved them getting their hands dirty. The man seemed to be constantly busy and Magnus found such things admirable. Though with the amount of work Griswold did for the Clover Kingdom it was no wonder the man had received the title "Solarian Wolf" not only for his cosmic magic, but because he seemed to always be on the hunt for the next grand adventure, or stumbling into it. Perhaps the man was just a magnet for this kind of thing, nonetheless, Magnus couldn't think of a better person to ask to help out with this mission.

"I thank you in advance for your assistance," Magnus said, placing the cup of hot cocoa down on the bar countertop. He dug into his coin purse taking out a few yul to give the barkeep, thanking them for their time. He straightened his tie and blue rose mantle before, walking toward the exit. Magnus watched as the carriage trinket expanded into its true form, he glanced around only to see some of the civilians momentarily taken aback by his magical carriage. Magnus was fully aware that his flying contraption was a bit on the fancy side, it was flying in style and he liked that, not only that but he wasn't getting any younger, thus he'd take whatever comfort where he could get it when it came to his day to day life.

"I indeed do, thank you for trusting in my judgment." Magnus mused as he opened the door to the carriage, revealing a pool of liquid that looked like that of some form of the spatial portal, he gestured for Griswold to go in first, and he followed after shutting the door behind them. As he sat in the spacious room, the inside of the carriage was outfitted with spatial magic and food magic to provide snacks and drinks. Magnus willed the carriage to fly, he glanced around the silver clean and modern interior, locating one of the golden framed window seals, thinking of possibly changing the entire to be less bright, though he enjoyed the airy and ethereal feel the carriage had at the moment. He glanced out one of the windows which looked larger on the inside than what they actually were, and though from the outside the windows offered no glimpse into the carriage they could see just fine through them.

Although this seemed it wasn't befitting enough for Griswold, or perhaps the man was just a thrill-seeker, as he opened the door, sticking his head through the liquid portal and into the open air. Magnus glanced to the side mirror in the direction of Griswold, looking out the window and squinting his eye as he saw what looked like snow like golems in the distance, though he couldn't be entirely sure. Though he figured Griswold had a better take on the situation considering the man was extremely adapt not just in magical senses but in physical senses as well, and if he didn't know better he'd think Griswold had an additional seventh sense he didn't know about.

The carriage rocked and as it did, Magnus saw a slew of brown and white outside of the side window, from what he knew Magnus figured it was some form of a boulder or large snowball. The creatures had clearly begun to target them and put their attention on them instead. Though this worried Magnus slightly he was grateful because it at the very least meant that the townfolks would get some form of reprieve. At Griswold's orders, Magnus willed the carriage to fly downward, weaving in the air like a snake as it did in order to avoid more boulders and attacks before it came close to the snow-covered ground the wings from the horses causing the snow to rush around in a white flurry that obscured them from view as the carriage touched down.

After touching down, Magnus hopped out of the carriage, presumably alongside Griswold, and reduced the carriage back to its dormant trinket form before placing it in his pocket all the while they still had the flurry of snow around them to provide them with cover. He crouched and glanced around with caution. "So where would you like to go from here, Griswold?" Magnus said with a casualness that he had come to become comfortable with when addressing the Black Bulls mage. Though from what Magnus could see Griswold was already focusing on a target, Magnus pulled out his paintbrush wand and began to focus the mana of his own.

They were in a thicket of snow-covered woods now, large oaks branched around and the snow came up to at least 2 feet, thankfully both the men were tall enough to the point where it would barely hinder them, though this meant that outside of magical or advanced senses seeing the creatures would be a tad bit more difficult. The snow blizzard around them with flurries of white, the light of the cloud-covered sun could be seen glimpsing through the tree branches. A large roar could be heard bellowing out from the distance. This no doubt is one of the creatures that was a cause of the disturbance.

This, however, left Magnus curious as to what to do, though the creatures were clearly hostile his time with Griswold and on his own had taught him that creatures rarely attack for no reason. In his mind there had to be something more to look into, to uncover, or perhaps it was just a hunch, but he also knew how Griswold thought and if he could put a stop to this without damaging the creatures or killing them then that would be the option he'd choose as long as it possed minimal risk to the safety of others. It was an admirable trait that Magnus enjoyed about the young man, however, he couldn't shake the feeling that just like him Griswold thought there was something more to all of this.

Summary:
Magnus lowers the carriage, and lands it, doing so bringing up a brush of snow that momentarily covers them. During that time Magnus shrinks the carriage and puts it in his pocket, waiting for Griswold to act. Magnus has a hunch that there's more to the eye than what's going on and feels Griswold may have that same feeling.

Touching the inlayed gem with their thumb is the way that this ability is activated. The moment it is a very fine near translucent ice blue aura seems to surround the wearer making them seem almost like an ethereal being. They will find that their physical strength has greatly increased.

Description:
Closing their eyes while taking a deep breath whispering "Elders guide me" is how this spell is activated. It would mean little to nothing to anyone but the wearer of the pin as it is them. The gem seems to take on a silvery blue sheen to it as the pin itself glows in a similar colour. Unbeknownst to anyone the wearer has just asked for aid and the mana left behind by Mateo Aurelius while he wore the pin has answered the call. Around the wearer, a silvery-blue aura has appeared increasing their speed allowing them the opportunity to try and avoid tricky situations. In addition to this, it heals the one within the aura for junior rank damage it will also actively attempt to cleanse them of any poisons, venoms, debuffs, curses or hexes using the clashing rules for cleansing. Using the ammo rules additional people may be healed per trigger by the wearer touching them leaving a glowing silvery-blue rose mark where they touched.

A detailed silver charm in the shape of a regal carriage that any self-respecting noble would be seen in, the carriage itself does not seem to have horses. The charm itself is around half an inch long and half an inch tall.

The black market has some strange people working for it and they had managed to find a few rare charms that were abandoned in some ruins within the Aristaeus’ Basin. What it actually did wasn't known until recently and by accident at that but it seems like it comes in handy as a mode of transportation with all the comforts of home.

This item can be given two additional abilities and can be upgraded even if you don't have the elements this will be charged at double the cost unless you have both elements that the charm has then it will be standard cost.

Description:

Simply throwing the charm is the way to activate this ability as it nears the ground it transforms itself into a base in the shape of a carriage with six winged horses which draw it to its location.

The carriage is able to house up to three people comfortably and is fifteen cubic meters inside but takes around to form. Healing spells cast within the carriage will cost 20% less. Unlike most abilities as this is a base, only the sustain cost will ever be charged from the moment of its creation. Although spells of this rank can go as far as 40m the charm holder can go no further than 10m from the carriage or it will return back to its charm form. The carriage is able to move at 15 m/s at this rank.

When opening the door of the carriage it seems like it's filled with liquid but going through it takes a person to what would seem like a lavish room that is warm and filled with delicious foods and drinks so that they may enjoy the comforts of home even when on the road.
