For reasons unknown, the Town of Silva has been dealing with several nuisances during Spring, the most notable one perhaps being the Spriggan infestation. However, what had gone mostly unnoticed during it all was the fact that some people had gone missing. More than that, it seems as though the local burial grounds have been worked on with the ground being overturned, new flowers being planted every day, the graves cleaned, and even new plots being added. Finding the place to be perfectly fine during the day, it was during one of the nights that a Magic Knight tasked with checking out any nightly activity has gone missing. With all of the fresh grave plots being dug and one of them being filled, the locals have been too afraid to dig it up themselves. As such, help has been requested.

So when they catch wind of people entering the burial grounds, they will place various traps and hide, waiting for the right time to strike, as they can always clean things back up afterwards. [break]Additional Information: Unlike the Spriggan encountered within the town itself, these Spriggan appear to contain their energy to the general area of the burial grounds and the mausoleum. Tending to the plants and flowers in the area, they also go around cleaning the gravestones and the interior of the mausoleum. As it is unsure why they would do this, they apparently hate being seen doing it as they will turn hostile.
Griswold hated all nobles equally and wanted them all to die and rot in the ground, after which he’d likely defecate on their remains in proper barbarian fashion.
That was what quite a few people believed to be a fundamental truth about the black knight, though this same group of people existed primarily out of nobles who had their overly long toes stepped on by his muddy boots. While it was true that there was an overly large group of these people that Griswold personally would not mind knocking around for a bit, that was not to say that he was single-minded in his dislike. He knew well enough that there were nobles out there with good intentions for the realm, which included helping out the poor either with relief or with jobs, which was more or less the best anyone could do. Because if people did not want to get themselves out of their rut by working for it, there wasn’t a whole lot anyone else could do, this being something he understood all too well.
What he did not appreciate were the people that went about throwing their money around while actively making more off of the suffering of the poor, or making their money whilst creating more suffering. They were the bad ones, along with the people that believed commoners and peasants were worth nothing anyway, so it wasn’t worth the time to think about them. And then there were the people who were openly rationalizing the pain and suffering of the poor and the downtrodden by comparing it against what a noble went through, and how their lives were just as hard if not harder. To Griswold, these people ranked among the worst to reside within this country, as well as counting among the people he personally wished to break into pieces with his own two fists. They deserved to get treated just as barbaric as they made him out to be.
Yet today, things were all quite different from what they used to be. Whether it was because he was gradually becoming more tame, because he could hide away his disgust for certain people or simply because he wanted to establish a good name for the black bulls, that wasn’t something he could really answer at this point. But whatever the case, Griswold currently found himself looking into an interesting issue in the town of Silva, which as the name suggested was where some of the worst of the worst lived. People that had been rich for decades, looked down on anyone beneath their station and considered any commoner or peasant to be worthless, no matter how hard they tried. In their eyes, someone like Griswold, who had come up from nothing, would never be considered a full-fledged magic knight, though he did not really care about that kind of noise anymore.
Because that was all it was, noise coming from someone whom he could crush like a glass figure in the palm of his hands if he felt so inclined.
It was one of those things that quietly gnawed at the back of his mind, less so in the quiet hours when he was out in the countryside and more so when he was around city folk and the rich nobility of this country. The idea that with great power had to come great responsibility, as it would be oh so easy to go around breaking a few skulls whenever people treated him like some barbarian with the mental capacity of a grapefruit. But at the end of the day, that would just feed into the belief that he was actually just that, a ruffian with a badge. Believing to have come a fairly long way since those days, he would not deny the kind of person that he was, though he could always try to be better than the person some people saw him as. Which was why being here was all the more important, to show that the Solarian Wolf was willing to help out nobles just like he was willing to help out commoners and peasants.
So now here he was, looking into a missing person’s case, a case of “hoodlums” terrorizing the area, as well as activity after hours on the town graveyard. Knowing that this meant that he would need to look into a mausoleum as well as the graveyard, much of what he had been hearing simply did not add up. Normally when ‘hoodlums’ were out doing stuff, it meant that things were being broken, stolen or all of the above. But in this case, the place was being tidied up, fresh graves were being dug and someone was even lighting candles and braziers after dark. In truth, Griswold wouldn’t have bothered looking into all of this if it hadn’t come paired with a missing magic knight. Stepping beyond the cemetery gates, he just hoped it wasn’t something to do with the undead again, as he was kind of tired of encountering them.

Magnus though an Aurelius often didn't reside in his family home of the Aurelius estate, in fact, many of the Aurelius family save for many of the Elders, and those going through their education didn't. The Aurelius family estate was more akin to that of a boarding school rather than an estate, and it was because of this that it was located on the far end of the Town of Silva, in a lush area, full of fauna, of which was reflected in the homes decor and curb appeal, this was simply because they were lavish but far from hardy and though privileged it was because they worked hard for it, they had acquired their wealth overtime from blood, sweat, tears, and innovation. They amassed their numbers merely because they adopted those with particular talents suited toward their wanted skill set and because unlike most nobles they themselves were servants if not on the higher end of them.
It was due to this that most Aurelius family members were down to earth if not just one step off from commoners, they didn't snub their noses at others or look down at them, instead, they were taught and honed to do the exact opposite, to give decency and respect to all those that crossed their path unless otherwise slighted or wronged, and even then they were to be the bigger person. Magnus always loved these ideals and though some didn't carry them, many of the family did, and he hoped that many more if not all of the family would come to do so in time.
However, due to their nature of being more "down to earth" than most other nobles it was often strange when one thought about it that their estate would be smacked dab in the area where some of the most haughty and snobby nobles in the kingdom lived, and when one answered that question the answer always given was a simple one that many could understand and that was simply because of "humility," for this factor was often what separated the Aurelius family from many others, whereas some were ruled by pride, the Aurelius was ruled by humility. To stay humble even in the midst of nobles as rude and crude as the Silva who even looked down upon lesser nobles as if they were nothing more than ants was a simple trial by fire for many of the young aspiring Aurelius. If they could endure the ridicule and constant mockery by the Silva then they could endure it from anyone and when being a servant such things simply came with the territory. Although the Aurelius family did make a point of making sure that whomever they were giving their services to would treat them fairly and without outward prejudice or disrespect, and of course sufficient payment; and in turn, those families were given the highest form of care available within the kingdom.
Today, however as he found himself at the estate for the past few days doing paperwork, most of which was to smooth over the process of his cousin Bachuss being under the employ of his fellow magic knight and friend Victoria, Magnus found himself wanting a quick escape from the place. This was simply because Bacchus's father was not pleased with the turn of events, in fact, he was downright pissed. Though Magnus hadn't always had the best relationship with Bacchus's father Augustus, the man who was also the spearhead that led to Magnus being annexed from his family for a couple of decades in his younger years, Magnus revered him with the almost respect and often called upon his expertise when it came to the need and help with creatures, both normal and magical and origin as that was his specialty. Not to mention the man was, after all, his uncle...
As Magnus felt the day dragging on and the constant verbal berating from Augustus starting to grate on him he was given a missive from some of those the higher up the totem pole in the area. His news of being home and being a Royal Knight had spread and as such not only did his family think it a great opportunity for him to be in the limelight but to also handle a nearby problem was rather worrying, especially when it involved grave digging and a missing magic knight. Though he also suspected it was because some of his family members took pity on him for he was the one in charge of whom got hired under which families, and as such it was him who took the heat for allowing Bacchus to "stray from the path of becoming an Elder" though Magnus had no qualms about doing so, for he knew at the end of the day it was Bacchus decision and his alone to make, the least he could do for any Aurelius was respect it, especially his closest of kin.
Magnus found himself in the study room given to him by the family, though one would expect dust to have accumulated over the few weeks he had been gone, one thing the Aurelius exiled at was cleaning and upkeep, and as such just like when he left it the room was spotless. He looked over the missive, a sense of worry and glee both dancing around in the forefront of his mind, and noticed a few familiar names on the list of those who had been asked to help, one being a magic knight he knew well, Griswold, and the other being a magic knight who was staying over for a day or so while the paperwork for Bacchus was being settled and the personal interview for her was being done to make sure she understood the contract she had signed for Bacchus to come under her employ including wages, accommodation and of course what his service entailed.
Perhaps it was simply because she was in the vicinity, or maybe Augustus had a hand in it to try and separate her and Bacchus for a while so that he could attempt to persuade his son to change his mind, but either way, Magnus found such thoughts irrelevant at the moment as they had a job to do. Thus he swooped Fantelo up from his nap on the desk, placed him on his shoulders, and made his way out of the Estate and to the graveyard alongside Victoria in his carriage, where he planned to hopefully intersect paths with the black bulls and royal knight known as Griswold.

Each Squad has a different color Mantle along with their own squad logo as well. Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom has worn these Mantles for hundreds of years. Abilities:
Rank & Element: Junior | Paint Class & Type: Imbued | Magic Trinket Magic Specializations: Golem Creation Appearance & Lore: Click For Image A Magical Ornate Paint Brush Set that comes with five 4-inch Paint Brushes in total all with different widths and styled bristles. The paintbrushes are ornate in design, with swirls of small patterns and silver in color. They have purple bristles that fade into white at their tips. Nothing is too special about these paintbrushes on their own except they are sturdy and have no need for a palette as they are capable of producing any color of paint on their own with a small infusion of mana. These paintbrushes were a gift to Magnus from his mother when he was younger and as such he cherishes them dearly but also uses them for his magic. However, as they are a magical set, they all share the same durability, thus if his weapon was to break even if it was just one paint brush due to an attack capable of destroying a junior rank weapon all of them would break. Outside of the fact that they can release paint, these weapons are nothing more than blunt objects. As such, they cannot be used to stab or pierce without the usage of a spell or its ability. Abilities:
Type & Uses: Flow | 3 Active, 2 Overheat Rank & Specialization: Junior | Golem Creation Size: 1 meter Mana Cost: 8 Per Flow | 4 Upkeep Type of Golem: Scout Description: Click for Image of Golem Magnus channels his paint magic into the movement of the paintbrushes amplifying the paint into a large amount from the tip of the brushes. He uses shades of white, gray, pinks, greens, and yellows to create the shape of a humanoid body, specifically a woman with long hair. The paint flows to life, taking greater depth and shape from the image, revealing a portrait of a young woman with dark gray to green hair, pink mystical eyes, a gray dress, and glowing pink and yellow flowers blossoming from her. The golem has a sheen to its skin like wet paint. The golem is a Scout type and as such is built for speed, flight, and sensory.
A masterfully crafted two-inch long white gold pin in the shape of a paintbrush in the middle of the handle lays a very rare unique sapphire blue moonstone.
At the origins of house Aurelius being recognized as nobles a set of eight unique pins were made, each pin was designed with a specific artistic or scholarly pursuit in mind and each having a differing type or rare gem or variant of a semi-precious gem inlaid on it somewhere. One was then given to each elder of the house.
The way they decided who would wear which pin was dependent on the pursuit that aligned with each pin. This meant the elder who found beauty in the craft of calligraphy would be given the pin which had the scroll and quill whereas the elder who found beauty in gardening would wear the pin-shaped like a rose in full bloom.
As an elder retired they would pass the pin to their successor. Who would then take on the responsibilities of every elder that wore the pin before them? It is believed that every elder on their final day of wearing the pin puts a slither of their mana into it so they might be able to guide those that come after them. Some elders have said they have felt the presence of their ancestors from the pin, especially during times of great turmoil or stress.
They've said as they become more attuned with their craft and the understanding of their duties the pin has given them a strength they didn't know they otherwise possessed. It is because of this these pins are seen as more than just a status symbol but something to be proud of and protected so that the future of the family can continue in its pursuit to serve those that would require their services.

Victoria sat in the lounge of Magnus' family's home, deep in thought as she stared at her cup of chamomile tea. Recently a missive had been sent to the magic knight squads about some strange events occurring in the town of Silva and she, Magnus, and Griswold had all signed up to investigate what was causing the distrubances. The most minor of which was a spriggan infestation that had plagued the town. Due to the mischief that those creatures had been causing, the officials of the town had missed the fact that someone had been rifling through the local burial grounds; new plots were being dug, new flowers were found planted every day as well as the fact that someone had gone out of their way to clean up the gravestones. If it had just been these incidents then things could have been played off as some well-meaning mystery person going about and making sure that the burial grounds were kept organized and the dead honored. This stopped being the case when one of the previous magic knights sent to investigate things hadn't returned as well as one of the plots being filled in. It didn't take a genius to figure out that he was most likely murdered and buried there which meant that whoever was doing these things wasn't as benevolent as initially thought.
Victoria wasn't sure what this was all about but it was clear to her that this was all connected. The Spirggans was a distraction while the main perpetrator used this opportunity to do something. Perhaps they were searching for something specific that one of the bodies had been buried with. Regardless, they had already proven to be willing to kill anyone who interfered with their work so they would need to be stopped before anyone else ended up dead though they would deal with their mystery person after the stopping the chaos of the Spriggans. "Still one would think that the Silver Eagles would have done something about this by now rather than letting these creatures run wild." Victoria thought as she took a sip from her teacup. Perhaps they thought it was beneath a noble family of their standing to deal with such trivial things; she honestly wouldn't pass that family. The Silvas were notorious for being a haughty bunch, always sneering down their noses at the commoners and even the minor nobles like herself, dismissing them all outright for the simple fact that they hadn't been born into a major noble family. She would have thought though that they would have sent someone else to investigate things, especially after a magic knight had disappeared if only to preserve their reputation but their loss would be her gain.
She was pulled from her musings by one of the maids announcing that Magnus was ready to depart, causing Victoria to rise and make her way through the foyer and into the courtyard. They were on a time crunch with every minute wasted allowing the mysterious perpetrator to be one step closer to their goal. As she made her way toward the carriage, she wondered if Magnus would be bringing Bacchus along with him. She had been quite surprised when he had petitioned her to serve as her head butler and bodyguard during the Aurelius event as she hadn't expected it. She didn't mind taking him in as a servant since Bacchus had shown himself to be incredibly competent in matters of servitude and she had been on the lookout for someone to fill the position. With the plans that she would be set into motion soon, her family's household would be growing in both size and wealth and they would need to higher additional help to maintain the grounds. With the experience that Bacchus had as a member of the Aurelius family, he perfectly fit that role as well as the added bonus of potentially helping with another revenue opportunity with his vineyard experience. Of course, since he also offered to serve as a bodyguard, she assumed he had some combat experience and was eager to see what he could do as she was in desperate need of some form of being able to damage foes.
"Good morning Sir Magnus, I hope that you are doing well." she stated, giving him her usual greeting for him. She noticed the absence of Bacchus in the carriage and couldn't help the small frown of disappointment that appeared on her face before she changed it. Since she had stayed the night over for her interview, she had been privy to the shouting that had been going on throughout the night. She couldn't make out the words due to the walls muffling a large part of the voices but given that she hadn't seen much of Bacchus this morning, she had an idea as to what it was about. "Hello to you Fantelo'" she greeted the strange spirit, reaching into her pocket and removing some treats to feed him. She had noticed how much the spirit enjoyed being fed both by Hinota during that bizarre circus dungeon as well as during the festival and decided that it would be prudent for her to have some treats on hand to feed to him whenever she met with Magnus. Given that his large resembled a feline, she had decided to go with fish flavor as she assumed that he would like it but if it turned out that he didn't then she would simply make a note of that and procure a different flavor for next time. "You seem to be a bit troubled Sir Magnus. Would you care to speak about it? I find that venting helps." she asked, trying to see if he would allow her to be privy to what had caused the screaming last night. If he elected not to speak of it then Victoria would decide to leave it alone, not wanting to pry and make things awkward between the two of them, especially right before a mission.
The pair would end up arriving in the Town of Silva where after checking in with the local lord, would be directed towards the graveyard where Griswold had apparently already decided to begin his investigation.

A young noble is said to have insulted the fairy queen by starting to burn a field of rare flowers favoured by her people. They managed to defend most of them from being burned with the use of an ancient talisman that gave them the power to do so.
That changed nothing however as some of the flowers still had fairy children sleeping within them, vengence was saught, there was nothing that the man had that the fairies wanted. They were a people of nature, even if they weren't no amount of wealth or bartering would bring back those they lost.
The young noble was given a simple task, hold onto the amulet in his hand for one month and be within the heart of the forest; if the forest forgave his actions so would they. He done what was requested but little by little he was becoming weaker as the item sapped his mana from him until he finally perished. The fairy queen regained the item soon after with the simple words "Respect nature, as much it gives it can take away."

Having never been the one to waste time, especially not when it came to getting the lay of the land and investigating what little he could without having to venture too far into the scene on his own, he figured that once the others arrived, they’d be able to get into it as a team. While he had originally been raised as one back in the enclave, Griswold had never really been much of a team player, which was why him being called Wolf was never really all that on point. At least not in the sense that wolves were the epitome of team players in the terrestrial animal world. On the other hand, when taking into account the means of dispersal that most young wolf males went through to become lone wolves, it made sense in a way. In Griswold’s case, it was much like a young wolf leaving the pack due to aggression from a dominant alpha.
However in his case, it was not so much aggression from a dominant alpha, it was complacency from the dominant noble class.
As the minutes went by, Griswold had scoped out the cemetery on his own, taking note of the fact that the mausoleum was all the way in the back and that the actual graveyard more or less had been built in front and around it. This obviously had been done with a plan in mind, making it look like the people born in the mausoleum had been more important than anybody else, even in death. With the sun still being out, it had been fairly easy to get a good look around the place, though he had not exactly seen any of the hoodlums that had been brought in the mission description. And in that same breath, he could say that he had also not seen any signs of a struggle or anything that might give away the whereabouts of the missing magic knight. If anything, the part of the cemetery he had seen had been in pristine condition.
Many of the things he had seen while out here had not been making a whole lot of sense, as the groundskeeper had claimed not to be willing to set foot on the terrain at all. Yet still the place was being tended to, perhaps more now than ever before. By the time he felt that there were other people approaching, he could tell without having to look who they were. Moving with the wind in their back made it easy for the black knight to scope out the distinct cologne and perfume carried his way, while the sheer difference in weight could be picked up just by listening to their footsteps. There was no doubt in his mind that these were Victoria and Magnus approaching him, so there was no need to take his mind off of things as they were not very likely to suddenly attack him from behind. Once they were well within earshot, that’s when he’d start talking.
“There’s been no sign of a struggle or fight to be found on the cemetery itself, no sign that the guy is here and alive, so it’ll be better to give up hope as to finding him in such a state. I’ve spotted various freshly dug graves, some of which have since been filled, while the area is being tended to and kept in near pristine state. The groundskeeper claims it was not his doing, and the hoodlums are as of yet unaccounted for.”
Providing a fairly detailed assessment of what he had managed to learn on his own so far by walking around the place yet maintaining a fair distance from the open sites, he turned to face the two of them and give them both a quick glance. While people might be faulted for believing he himself always wore the same clothes, since he really only owned a bunch of copies of the clothing he believed worked for him, he didn’t think he had ever really caught either of these two really wearing the same clothing twice. And to go as far as to say that they might be overdressed for the occasion, that was not something he was going to bring up, though he absolutely thought it. After all, they did not seem like the kind of clothes one would wear when one more than likely had to go about getting a shovel and exhume a bunch of freshly dug graves.
“It's good that you're here, maybe your insights might provide another angle. Because all things considered, I don’t think a whole lot of these things make sense.”

"Good morning, Lady Victoria, I'm well. I do hope you've enjoyed your stay at the Aurelius estate thus far." He said with a smile, before taking in the fact that Victoria had stopped smiling for a short moment, no doubt it was because she had been under the impression that Bacchus was most likely going to be joining them, however, unfortunately for the both of them, he had to go through some paperwork of his own. Though Magnus did not doubt in his mind that while doing his paperwork Bacchus was most likely on the upper far right balcony of the estate of the highest floor, an area where he and his cousin had spent much of the younger days to escape the prying eyes of their family. Not to mention had a bottle of wine with him, however, due to his large alcohol tolerance which was even stronger than Magnus's own, he doubted such a thing would impact his written word or mental coherence- Magnus did not doubt in his mind that his cousin was hard at work filling that paperwork out with swift haste and making sure to do so without error.
"Don't worry Lady Victoria, I'm sure my cousin can join us later, he just has a few things to finish up on his in." Though what Magnus said wasn't a lie, he knew that his cousin had a lot of work to do, the process of becoming a butler for someone else was lengthy, especially for someone in his position who had yet to ever do so. Of course, he had the training and the skill, but the matter was that he had no previous employer or reference, not to mention having to get his affairs in order due to his ownership of a winery and needing to find someone to oversee it in his absences. Becoming a head butler and throwing oneself into the role of being such full-time was a lot of work and left little time for one to pursue their hobbies and a separate career.
Fantelo chuffed as he moved toward Fantelo, it was a sound that sounded almost like a gurgle mixed with a purr, but soft, and it meant that Fantelo had become rather fond of Victoria. Though it could very well be the fact that he smelled the treats she had on her person. As she pulled out the fish-flavored treats for him, Fantelo wasted no time in gobbling them up. A musing of purrs came from him as he did so. He had decided then and there that he was certainly fond of Victoria, and though these treats weren't those made specifically for spirits, nor did they have the depth and flavor to them that Hinota's had they were good and welcomed nonetheless.
Magnus watched Fantelo with a twinkle of joy and amusement in his eyes, he was happy Fantelo had taken a liking to Victoria, and that Victoria herself was kind and gracious enough to bring treats with her in consideration of him. Though as he was mulling through such thoughts he was snapped out of it when Victoria asked him if there was something on his mind. Magnus at first thought about feigning ignorance to the girl, but knew that such things would be quickly unraveled by her intuition. Thus, he opted to tell the truth instead. "As you probably heard, and I apologize for the rudeness, Bacchus's father isn't pleased with him becoming your butler, however, this is due to his selfishness of wanting Bacchus to take his position of Elder. Though rest assured you have nothing to worry about, the matter has already been solved and as its Bacchus's decision, I will respect it, as well his father regardless of his grievance."
With the truth of the matter, out in the open, and things have been said Magnus did feel better. However, he was still a little vexed that Augustus, his uncle and Bacchus's father had purposely chosen to stand near Victoria's door when airing out his displeasure with Bacchus's choice. It was uncouth, unprofessional, and though it was his son, uncalled for. Magnus would have to have a stern talking to the old man, and knew for a fact that the elected head/ another Elder of the family Tiberius; Magnus's grandfather had already called Augustus in for a talk and to reprimand him, though Magnus was sure that considering this had been a first-time offense would be nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
Regardless, of the mornings stress that had plagued him, Magnus found himself pushing all of such things to the back of his mind as he now had a job to focus on, getting out of the carriage after arriving at the cemetery, Magnus turned his carriage back into the silver trinket that it was and placed it within his pocket before he and Victoria made their way toward Griswold on foot. It was no surprise to Magnus when Griswold, spoke out to them as they get closer as if he had known they were coming up behind him all along, though Magnus knew that was because of Griswold's impressive sensory prowess they were. The man practically had eyes in the back of his head after all.
Magnus placed his hand to his chin as he thought, as Fantelo rested on his shoulder peering down from the towering height. "Such a pity, I do wonder what could've done such a thing. Why dig up the graves just to fill them back in? Just what kind of sick joke is this, or perhaps were the culprits looking for something? Maybe they have some form of creed or religion, or perhaps even just a conscious that kept them from leaving the graves in such disarray." Magnus stated, after all, with the news of what was going on and the days that had passed the culprits couldn't have been covering up the graves to cover their tracks considering word and knowledge of the graves already being dug up was common knowledge.
Though as Magnus gave more thought to the matter, there were many times odd things like this happened and they were the work of not human but something else entirely and thus he mused the question to Griswold out loud as he knew the black bull magic knight had far more experience with such things than he: "Do you perhaps think that the culprit is something nonhuman? Or that one of the aspects involved with what's going on could be ones such doing?" Magnus asked, his mind inquisitively trying to put the puzzle pieces together, though the downside was there were too many missing pieces...

"My night went very well Sir Magnus. Your estate and staff were lovely and very well trained; not that I expected any different given your families' occupation." she smiled, hoping that he hadn't noticed her momentary lapse in emotions while also attempting to distract him with compliments. It would sadly seem as if she didn't succeed in that aspect as Magnus immediately picked up on that and assured her that Bacchus would most likely be joining them later on as he had a few things to finish up. She hummed at that; not really sure what else she could say about that before reaching to grab a biscuit for herself. It was mainly to give herself something to nibble on as she had already been fed this morning by Magnus' servants so she wasn't that hungry. "Well that's good to hear. I look forward to Bacchus under my household. I feel he would be an excellent fit for the position and be able to bring my servants up to Aurelius standards." she joked while paying close attention to Magnus' reactions and tone inflictions. She found it out that Bacchus seemed to be avoiding her, and had been doing so ever since her interview with the elders going over the contract between her and Bacchus. It had been...extensive; far more extensive than she had been expecting and she was glad once they had finished fastening out the details and turning into bed.
She was glad to see that Fantelo enjoyed his treats, content to know that her efforts hadn't been in vain, smiling as the creature gobbled up the treats that she gave him. She hadn't been sure originally that he would have liked them as just because he looked like a cat, didn't mean that he would like all the things that a standard cat would; though so far that seemed to be the case. She only gave him a handful though as she didn't wish to spoil the creature nor ruin his appetite so early in the day after all when there would be work for them to do once they arrived at the graveyards. "Glad to see that you enjoy the treats Fantelo. I'll be sure to keep more of them on hand for you in the future. Were there any flavors in particular that you enjoyed?" she asked, figuring it didn't hurt to find out. Fantelo as a spirit meaning that he was just as intelligent as a human and capable of communication so it would stand to reason that she should go out of her way to make him into an ally separate from Magnus. She shouldn't assume that just because she was Magnus' friend that the spirit would also like her as well; he had his own emotions and feelings that should be taken into account.
She was pulled from her musings as Magnus apologized for the disturbance last night. As she had expected, the news of Bacchus wishing to serve as her head butler had caused quite the stir amongst the Aurelius family and kicked up the proverbial beehive. She personally didn't care what became of that so long as she got Bacchus to come with her but it was clear that this was weighing heavily on Magnus and most likely he had received the brunt of the verbal assault. Reaching out, she placed one of her hands on his knee, gripping it in what she thought was a comforting manner before speaking. "It's quite alright Sir Magnus, you have nothing to apologize for. It's not as if you're the one who decided to escalate things here. If I had known that all this would have occurred from such an innocent question, I wouldn't have agreed with Bacchus's request. I'm sorry for causing such a ruckus for you all" her voice softened to barely a whisper at the end as she moved her hand back and placed them both in her lap, giving off a gloomy aura. Of course, she didn't really feel this way underneath her exterior personalty but the presentation was a key here and Magnus considered her a friend so she felt that this was something that a friend would do for another if their actions had made life more difficult for them.
After the pair arrived at the graveyard, they spotted Griswold amongst the tombstones and began to make their way toward him. Victoria had just arrived within earshot when the Royal Knight began to speak, reporting his findings as he had explored the graveyard in the time it had taken for them to get there. "So we should assume that our mysterious perpetrator is capable of cleaning up after themselves and leaving no traces behind to track if the battle did occur here" she stated, glancing over Griswold's attire as Magnus spoke. Her keen eye for clothing noted that while this was the same style of clothing, it was not the same one that she had seen on him during the Aurelius family event. "Does he own multiples of the same outfit? I guess when you really like a style of clothing this is what you do." she thought before she decide to add her own thoughts on the matter at hand. "Was there anything at the previous dug-up graves? As Magnus stated, it could be some creatures that could be feeding on the deceased here." She highly doubted that was the case but it never hurt to be thoroughly and explore all avenues just in case one misses something after all.
There was also the matter of the flowers that were appearing on the gravestones and Victoria was curious to see those, feeling that there might be a clue left behind inadvertently. "If you don't mind, I would like to see some of the flowers that were left behind in the graveyards. Most people don't know it, but flowers come with their own language and meaning for those well versed in this." If there were no objections, Victoria would ask Griswold to lead her to each of these, observing each flower in turn and mentally reviewing their meaning from memory before explaining it to the others. "How curious. I feel as if these flowers were all deliberately put here. The convolvulus major for example means dead or extinguished hope." she said, pointing to the 5 petaled white flowers before moving on to the next. "The dead leaves had to have been left there intentionally given that it's out of season for those and they have the meaning of sadness. And of course, the garlic is typically used to ward off evil" she said, taking another few moments before giving her theory on the matter. "If whoever is digging up these graves is the same person to leave these flowers here then it is entirely possible that they might not be doing so of their own violation.

As always, he would hear everyone out, especially after asking for their opinions and insights into the situation. And while he knew a thing or two about the flora and fauna of Clover, Griswold had not considered what the meaning of the flowers might be in contrast to the recently dug or exhumed graves. Not really responding to it so much as walking past them while pondering the idea that there might be someone behind all of this that left these clues on purpose. Or perhaps he got it wrong and they weren’t clues at all, just something this someone did for the people who were laying here. Hell, maybe they didn’t agree with some of the people who were laying in this soil, which might link it back to some angry Silva not enjoying how people they considered unworthy shared a plot with their ancestors and relatives.
Thinking about what he had just been told, as well as taking into consideration what he already knew due to prior engagements with these people, it was that they were all actively looking to do what was best for the country in their own way. And while these two were more or less an exception to the rule on account of them both being blue rose knights, it brought to the surface how frequently people from various squads ended up working with him on missions such as these. So while he might have felt weird bringing up an idea he had been forming some time ago out in the open, Griswold figured that the two of them might be able to hear it without laughing or believing that he had gone crazy. And so, he put his idea out there, even though the timing might not have been perfect.
“This may feel sudden, though I’ve been tinkering with the idea for a while now. As you know, I don’t often work with many of the other black bulls since a lot of them are slackers, though that got me thinking. In fact, I’ve often been on missions with knights from other squads as well as civilians who are of the same mind… mostly.”
Pausing for a moment as he believed he had heard something moving, he focused for a moment to check whether or not his senses might pick up on anything actually being there. Going as far as to close his eyes so that he might focus entirely on all of his other senses, the fact that they had no real clue as to what they were dealing with made it difficult to rule out that there wasn’t anything there just because he couldn’t sense it. For the time being, he would choose to believe that they were in the clear, allowing him to at the very least finish up what he was saying and see if they might be interested in it at all.
“Which led me to believe that the best way to deal with the issues at hand would be to start an organization of my own, existing out of knights from various squads and civilians alike, all working towards the same thing: the betterment of the poorest regions and rooting out dangerous elements.”
But before he could ask if they would actually be willing to join up once he were to actually act as the founder of this new organization that had for all intents and purposes not been born yet, he heard the same sound again. Turning around fully just in time to see something sneaking behind a gravestone, Griswold places his right hand on the handle of his sword. Spotting more movement in the shadows, almost as if whatever was there knew that the gig was up, it would appear as though their conversation would need to wait until they got rid of some of these ‘hoodlums’ the groundskeeper had mentioned.

[attr="class","temppost"] Magnus listened to Victoria as she spoke a small smile took root on his face. Magnus had always been extremely proud of his family and happy with the standards they upheld. Though the compliment was often given, it was another story when it came to the words being said by someone he considered a friend and highly respected. "Thank you for your kind words, Lady Victoria." Magnus mused in response.
"I'm sure he looks forward to being there as well, it's been quite a while since I've seen my cousin so passionate about something. It appears he's truly taken a liking to you. I will say if there's anyone that can whip a group into a good shape it's Bacchus. He might not always look as lax as he can be in his off time but he's extremely competent at what he does. There's a reason that he's often viewed as a potential candidate for Elder status within the family." Though with those words spoken Magnus found his mind drifting to the night's previous conversations with his uncle before it snapped back into focus with quick haste.
Fantelo began to purr with excitement and approval before nudging his head slightly against Victoria's hands. He had never received such adoration before, it seemed to be with Magnus had its fair share of perks. Not only was the man well respected, beloved, and able to afford the finer things in life, but because of his personable personality he had many people that enjoyed his company and in turn came to enjoy the spirits by proximity. Fantelo gave what looked to be deep thought to the question Victoria asked him about if he had any particular flavors, besides good-tasting art, and the candies that Hinota had made nothing else truly came close. As such he figured the spectrum to go off of would-be human food and considering the food that he had that humans around him had eaten that he managed to get a small taste of, Fantelo mused out the words "I like venison!" He said as he went to lick his paw.
"No, please don't apologize it's not your fault, nor is it Bacchus, he's an adult who's passed the trials of our family all with the exception of the Elder trial, it's no one's choice but his own, all we can do is respect it, it's just his dad has a hard time coming to grips with such things. However, I for sure will not allow Augustus to interfere in Bacchus's wants." Magnus stated in a stern tone, after all, Magnus had personally been scorned by Augustus in the past, his uncle might have the upper hand in the inner dealings of the family but Magnus had a world of experience of his own to bring to the table...
As they talked and speculated about the conditions of the gravesite and the situation at hand Magnus brought his hand up to his chin, stroking his beard slightly as he was in thought. He nodded to Victoria's words, then watched as the young girl began to speak about her expertise as someone well informed in botany. Though he took in the knowledge of flower representation and made a mental note to study such things in his free time as he felt it would give him a good burst of inspiration. Though from the meaning of the flowers being deliberately put there, Magnus's thought of something supernatural being at play seemed to become even more palpable.
Then the conversation took a turn that Magnus was not quite expecting, nonetheless he was happy to hear the proposal mused from Griswold's lips. Though he did feel sad to hear that Griswold often had to outsource when it came to who he had to work with due to the slacking of other Black Bulls members, though considering just how many Blue Rose members were as active as he and Victoria he could understand the sentiment. Though Magnus almost as if by instinct reached into the small pocket on the front of his satchel when Griswold paused to listen in to something he himself couldn't pick up on. From said satchel, he grabbed his trusty magical paintbrush wands just in case they'd be needed, placing the paintbrushes in between the grooves of each one of his fingers with practice precision.
Magnus smiled wanting to immediately take Griswold up on his offer, the man had always had noble intentions for him, and to hear that such a capable mage was creating his own organization ultimately for something that Magnus believed would be for the betterment of the kingdom and something he had done himself in his more youthful days brought a large smile to his face. The poorest part of the kingdom often were the ones that couldn't afford to reach out for help, in fact, it often took the forsaken areas of the kingdom much more rallying in order to come up with the yul to request missions. It was because of this that they often had to rely on their own strength or wait until problems escalated to the point where the kingdom would be more inclined to deal with the issue for cheap or shell out their own stipends due to the possibility of the issues circulating to the rest of the kingdom itself.
Magnus couldn't hear or see anything himself, but he knew for a fact that Griswold had a large number of keen senses, ranging from the usual 5 senses, down to mana sensing and even a 7th sense, it was because of this that when the man stopped to listen or seemed as if he was picking up on something that wasn't there, Magnus was inclined to believe that there was, in fact, something there even though he himself couldn't perceive it. He had fought alongside Griswold enough to have the utmost faith in his sensory prowess.
Though he quickly became on edge as he saw that Griswold had to turn his attention to something else. He watched as the man placed his hand on his sword, and Magnus quickly began to funnel mana into the tip of his paintbrush though he had yet to decide on a specific color of paint for the bristles to produce, after all, he didn't want to jump the gun.
As Fantelo's hairs began to stand on end and the Paint spirit turned its attention toward the direction that Griswold was facing, It seems things were about to pick up...

Abilities:

Victoria smiled at Magnus' words, happy to know that Bacchus was excited to be working under her as well as the fact that he was as competent as she thought. She would admit; if only internally that she had thought he was second-guessing himself since he was avoiding her but now her thoughts had proven to be misplaced. From the little that she had seen and gossip she had managed to pick up, Bacchus was a hard taskmaster to those serving under him. It was something that she felt was lacking in her household but that she neither had the time nor desire to address. She had far too much going on within her daily life to attempt to bring the servants up to proper standards so she merely had to settle for mediocrity. Now with Bacchus eventually joining her family, she'd be able to let him loose on the servants and bring them up to acceptable standards. This was going to be especially important since her plans to expand the family's business would result in the need to bring in more workers to tend to things. They might even have to move to a bigger household to accommodate all the changes that would soon be coming. As a member of the Aurelius family. she had expected that he would be up for the task. There was also the added benefit of his magic ability serving as a great defender for him; something that she didn't even need to coerce him into doing.
With that portion of the conversation done, Victoria moved to scratch at Fantelo's head, earning herself a purr from the cat-like being. There were often times that she wished to ask Magnus what use the being had as she hadn't seen it do much aside from eating and making commentary as she felt that it would be rude. She'd heard stories of spirits aiding their summoners in battle but staring at Fantelo, she wasn't sure how he'd be of much help in that department. All it would really take would be one good kick or smack and he'd be sent flying. "I wonder if catnips would affect him as a regular cat would." she mused before she posed her question to him. It was adorable watching Fantelo seriously contemplate her question; to the point where she had to stop herself from cooing aloud at him. Eventually, she got an answer of venison which was an interesting choice. She was curious when exactly Fantelo managed to get the taste of deer but then again it was possible that Magnus had purchased the meat and fed it to his spirit. It wasn't as if venison was difficult meat to purchase after all. "I'll keep that in mind for next time Fantelo."
After meeting Griswold in the graveyard, Victoria decided to see what kind of clues she'd be able to uncover for this mission. Griswold had already inspected the grounds; finding no signs of a struggle or fight from their missing magic knight, so Victoria decided that the only other clue that could be investigated would be the flowers left at the graves. She didn't expect either of the men to understand flower language as that was something that women were more inclined to learn; especially noblewomen. Given that she had an affinity toward plants, it was only natural that she was an expert in these. As she visited each grave, she was happy to display her knowledge; coming to the conclusion that the flowers were possibly a hidden message from whoever was making these plots. Victoria felt that she was correct in her assessment given how none of the townspeople were willing to step foot into the graveyard given the recent happenings as well as the disappearance of the magic knight. After she finished explaining her guess, the others remained silent; possibly thinking about the implications of her statement.
Griswold would soon break the silence with an interesting offer, giving Victoria pause. His organization sounded interesting, with goals that she didn't mind aligning herself with. By bettering the poorer regions of the Clover Kingdom, it just meant that there would be more locations that her family could spread their influence into. It was ultimately beneficial to her and her family plus the fact that doing so would also increase her own influence within the kingdom. The only downside that she could see in this would be that she wasn't entirely sure if she'd have the free time to do so. This was a budding organization and she'd be one of the starting members. She'd have to put in a good amount of work to help it get off the ground and while that would give her plenty of places to cast her influence; especially on recruiting, that would be very time-consuming. With her plans to eventually take over as captain of the Blue Roses as well as the upcoming uptick in the business during this time of year, she most likely wouldn't have a lot of free time to invest in this.
Before she could ask some follow-up questions, Victoria noted Griswold placing a hand on the hilt of his blade; getting ready for battle. Victoria didn't hesitate to move her own hand towards her grimoire, gathering her mana in preparation as she turned to look at the location Griswold was staring at before letting her eyes rove around the graveyard for any signs of movement. She trusted the instincts of Griswold given that he was a royal knight and had been a magic knight for longer than her so his senses would have been honed for any signs of danger. Magnus and Fantelo also readied themselves as everyone stood tense, waiting for something to come out of the shadows.

The fact that the both of them were merely listening to his words rather than actually responding to any of it made him wonder whether or not this kind of thing was actually up their ally or not. While some might believe that doing something like this would be best for the country, as it decreased the weakest region and made an effort at increasing the overall wealth of the whole entity, he also understood that some would prefer to keep the people who had nothing as poor as they were. People who had nothing jumped at the chance to get something, making them targets for those who had money and needed some dirty deeds done dirt cheap. That said, Griswold did not consider these two people to be like that, as they had expressed making efforts and attempts at aiding those in need, as well as fighting for it from time to time.
Had they not been approached by what could only be hostile threats, there was a chance he might have already gotten his answer, which honestly ticked him off a bit. So as he had turned to face the general direction of the threat, it turned out that they were creatures like the ones he had faced here before. But as they got closer and become more notable in terms of their features, he could tell that there was something wrong with these spriggan. They looked somewhat sickly, not possessing the same kind of flair the others had to them, almost as if they had withered or had been despoiled by something that was toxic to them. Still, these creatures appeared to be vibrant enough to pose a threat to some, though he doubted that these were the ones that might have ambushed and defeated a fellow magic knight.
Whatever had happened to them, unlike the others, these spriggan appeared violent to the point of assaulting him and the others, which was a huge mistake on their part. As the lunged at the group, Griswold rose up his hand, moving as if swiping away a bug in front of him. Upon doing so, several gusts of wind formed, moving outward and striking at the attacking fae creatures, lacerating them and sending them down to the ground. Leaving some of them to reconsider their actions after ten of them had been cut down, the remaining two made a break for it. Not caring enough to go after them, he pointed the palm of his hand towards them as two spheres of ‘solar’ mana fired towards them, incinerating the both of them before they could become a bother for anyone else. While it was unlikely that Magnus had ever seen this kind of a response from Griswold, the situation was different now.
In the case of reindeer or yeti or any other kind of creature, he would have always given the more intelligent creatures a chance to reconsider, while using his own skill and prowess in order to bring down creatures that did not know any better since their intelligence was of the same level of the average animal. But these creatures were sick, warped, different from what they were supposed to be if his first interaction with their species was any indication. To think that something here pushed them to become this hostile, a quick death was the greatest mercy he could give them at this point. Because contrary to what some people might believe, there were cases where something was too far gone to return. And while he did not care for the Silva one bit, with these creatures gone, they at least got closer to having their graveyard back under control. So with that, Griswold turned his attention back to the earlier conversation.

[attr="class","temppost"] Fantelo purred in response to Victoria's words, choosing to nudge his head against her hand gently, before pausing to glance up to make sure that such things were allowed. Magnus had often told Fantelo that he shouldn't rub against most nobles without their permission as many nobles weren't kind when it came to animals brushing up against them, much as he didn't like many nobles weren't in the habit of being so down to earth as he was, they could be crass, crude, and downright rude at times. Even in the presence of a spirit, though most would probably think that Fantelo was a mere mana beast unless he was to speak. Thus this was another reason Magnus had imparted the importance of a formal greeting to Fantelo which he made sure to do in earnest as to relay the fact that he was much more than a mere mana beast, especially as the causation of such would be downright disrespectful to him, nor was it something he would stand for. If it was okay with Victoria, Fantelo would continue to rub his hand against her head with an affectionate purr...
As Magnus stood talking to Griswold and Victoria, mulling over the words the royal knight had spoken, Magnus found himself wondering just how he should respond, unfortunately, he found his attention being drawn away from him by a rustling in the distance, Griswold's keen senses had clearly caught onto something that he himself couldn't perceive. Magnus found himself wondering just how Griswold managed to hone his senses to such an extent, and if it would be possible to eventually do the same. Granted, he felt that some of his senses like his normal senses of smell, hearing, sight, and taste were most likely innate talents that the man had, but in a world of magic anything was possible and one could never be too sure.
Regardless, he had already dug into the small pouch located on the front of the grimoire satchel and withdrew one of his magical paintbrush wands, grasping it within his hand, but before he could even muster the mana to swell up within his body and will it to the tip of the brush Griswold had reacted. Creatures appeared, though unlike anything Magnus had seen, or rather nothing he could peg to being close enough to it, save for the Leshy he had once met and helped get justice for in regards to a corrupt farmer and their lackeys. Though these creatures were sickly and withered in appearance. Magnus found himself wondering if they were always like this, if this was just the way they came, and if they could pose some kind of threat.
Though then it became apparent to him that his suspicions about something supernatural being at work, as was one of the usual cases of things that couldn't always be explained when it came to most of the work he had done on missions for the Clover Kingdom thus far. Though before he could ponder the thought any longer, Griswold raised his hand and easily as if he was swatting a bug dispatched a spell and the creatures along with it, though this spell was unlike anything he had seen from Griswold thus far, it lacked the flair and color of his usual cosmic magic, and thus Magnus was taken back by the display. However, the next spell that was unleashed was like the ones he had seen before, two blasts of cosmic energy that left nothing of the creatures in tow.
Magnus's eyebrows rose at the sight, curious and pondering. He had never seen this side of Griswold, after all, the man had often always tried to find an alternative to helping creatures, life was precious to him and it was something that Magnus admired about the strong young man, but this... This was unprecedented, and Magnus found himself at a loss for words, so instead he focused on introspection as he glanced around the area to make sure nothing else was amiss, though he doubted it as Griswold himself hadn't done so. Magnus's thoughts were quickly forming together, after all, he had no choice but to will them to with as fast as the situation had taken its turn.
One on hand he figured one of the issues was taken care of, but he had an inkling, a nagging feeling that buzzed in the pit of his stomach like bees in a hive that told him this wasn't the end situation. On the other hand, knowing this wasn't Griswold's usual behavior and that the man didn't seem like an imposter besides the new unusual magic, Magnus came to the inevitable conclusion that these creatures either fell into one of two categories, harmful or too far gone for saving. Perhaps both, as for the Black Bull's magic, perhaps this was just one of the many spells he hadn't seen before, maybe an aspect of his cosmic magic he didn't know about, or perhaps the young man had a second magic affinity he knew nothing about as it was never on display until now.
Regardless, the situation had already moved past that point as signified by Griswold's nonchalant demeanor was on full display in front of him and he clearly wanted to continue the approach of the former conversation which told Magnus that this choice of action, this want of building a group, this desire was something that he was unequivocally serious about.
Thus Magnus though forcing a smile to his face in light of the past few seconds of actions spoke with a reverent and joyous tone to Griswold. "It sounds wonderful Griswold, it's a noble endeavor and I for one would love to be of service in helping assist you with what I can when I can. To all intents and purposes, you can count me in." Magnus said as his smile eased into one of genuine warmth and admiration for the young man, he meant what he said, and he truly did believe that Griswold's cause was noble, and he truly did want to join it. He reached his hand out to shake Griswold's to express the point further and as if to say "I accept,". After all, he wasn't getting any younger, and being with Griswold had always been a grand adventure. Magnus glanced at Victoria, wondering what the young girl's answer would be as well.
Besides, he figured that after the young man got his answer to this question, the situation at hand would come back into the scope of view, though he was sure for Griswold it had never left his mind. However, he wouldn't let Griswold off the hook that easy, he was still curious about the young man's magic after all, and thus he mused his question allowed, "I must say, I've never seen you use magic like that first spell before, I would be remiss if I didn't say I was intrigued. Do you perhaps have another magic? Or is this simply another aspect of your cosmic magic?" Magnus listened intently for Griswold's answer with a look of curiosity adorning his face.

Unlike most abilities as this is a base, only the sustain cost will ever be charged from the moment of its creation. Although spells of this rank can go as far as 40m the charm holder can go no further than 10m from the carriage or it will return back to its charm form. The carriage is able to move at 15 m/s at this rank.
When opening the door of the carriage it seems like it's filled with liquid but going through it takes a person to what would seem like a lavish room that is warm and filled with delicious foods and drinks so that they may enjoy the comforts of home even when on the road.

Their mysterious enemy turned out to be some strange plant creatures, twelve in total, with hostility in their eyes. "Seems that someone doesn't want us here." she thought before the name of the creatures came to mind. They were spriggans, a form of lesser fae creatures associated with nature and the guarding of buried treasure though these had a very different appearance compared to the illustrations that she had seen in her books. It was also a mystery as to why they were here in a graveyard of all places but that could be solved later once they were dealt with. She knew a bit about the fae and those that were generally put in the same category due to having spent some time in her childhood studying them alongside many other species of creatures. She had done this in an effort to build a mental catalog of future wraiths that she wanted to make should she ever end up lucky enough to run into something worthwhile to add to her collection. Like most fae, they tended to be rather mischievous creatures, especially against those who had offended them which probably spoke of what happened to the missing member of the Silver Eagles. "He probably said something stupid and offensive to them that caused them to attack and incapacitate him though I would have thought that a magic knight would have been able to handle some Spriggans given how weak they generally are."
Just as the wraith user was preparing to restrain some of the spriggans, Griswold would move first, swiping his hand in the air as if waving away a meddlesome bug. What actually happened, Victoria wasn't sure but what she did know was that 10 out of the 12 spriggans fell to the ground, before she could even do so much as blink. Upon seeing their brethren so easily defeated and killed, the remaining 2 attempted to flee; deciding to cut their losses though it seemed that Griswold had no intentions of being merciful as he fired 2 fiery orbs at them, incinerating them on the spot and not even leaving any ash to indicate their presence. "How ruthless. I didn't even see what that first attack was before they were struck." she thought, a bit awestruck though she kept her face as a serene mask. The only hint of her emotional state was her slightly widened eyes at the carnage. She didn't really care about the creatures being so ruthlessly cut down seeing as she had no intentions of turning them into wraiths and with her own personality, it would be a bit hypocritical to say anything. She simply wouldn't have expected something like that from another magic knight, or at least not outside the Green Mantis squad given their reputation.
Curious, she moved forward to inspect the bodies and wondered if any of them had managed to survive the attack. If they did, it was possible that they could interrogate it in order to find out if they knew anything about the strange going-on here or about the disappearance of Mr. Kester as well. She wasn't sure if they were capable of speaking human speech let alone understanding it but she was sure that they would at least be able to figure out some form of communication with them. "Hmm, these cuts look clean. Did he cut them using wind or something?" she thought as she peered down at one of the bodies. None of the creatures had survived their wounds, either being slipped down to the bone or simply bleeding out within seconds due to the multiple slices in their grotesque bodies. "To be able to cast so many attacks at once and kill them all with one hit speaks of a lot of skill. I guess that's someone who stands at an arch-mage level and a royal knight at that. He's definitely someone I would want to be on friendly terms with given how useful he can be," she mused as she turned back and headed towards the 2 gentlemen.
Magnus would decide to answer Griswold's question on a positive note; not that she had expected any different from the older man. This sort of philanthropic work was within his wheelhouse and something that she had learned that he enjoyed doing. As he turned to glance at her, she glanced back, thinking for a few seconds about how she wanted to answer this question. "I find myself in agreement with Sir Magnus. Ultimately this would only serve to better the Clover Kingdom as a whole and as a magic knight, it is my sworn duty to do what I can to enrich our country." she stated before curtsying. "Therefore, I humbly accept joining this organization." Of course, her reasoning for joining wasn't purely selfless but as far as she was concerned, neither of the two men; or anyone else that they happened to recruit, would need to be any the wiser to the motifs of her reasoning. "I wonder how Griswold feels about necromancy."
With her response given and the Spriggans have been taken care of, Victoria felt that it was probably time that they moved on to the next part of their mission though Magnus' words gave her some pause. She hadn't run into many who had more than 1 different magic affinity so she was curious to know if this was a similar case with Griswold, joining Magnus with a similar look of curiosity.

“Alright, I guess that means the two of you would be its first official members.”
Even if it might not have been the best possible place for all of this, there was no denying the fact that sometimes, things simply worked out the way that they did. In his case, he had been forced to multitask so many times it stopped being weird, as Griswold was almost always working. So to say he had to do a bunch of things while going about the same work, like eating while on the job, hunting for said food while on the job or in this case, planning to establish an entirely new organization aiming to unofficially establish a stronger and more vibrant forsaken region, was not even all that strange. Regardless, he knew that they were still on the mission, and while he was excited in his own way about getting this thing off of the ground, it was just about time to get off of this topic and back onto the matter at hand… after a last factual statement.
“I thought about a name that might carry some weight in the region, and in my mind, the best idea possible was the Solarian Wolves. It uses a known reputation of someone who worked for the benefit of the people, so it would already carry some weight before the group actually starts to act.”
In a way, Griswold considered what he was about to do to be a part of his own personal legacy, something he might contribute to the world that had nothing to do with him killing or butchering anything to keep people safe. No, if this group, this organization, was something that he might set up that could actually make the whole of the country better by making the most undervalued of the three regions stronger, than that was something he was going to put everything he had into. That said though, he was still not done trying to go about this in as many ways as he possibly could, him aiming for Captaincy within the black bulls squad being another one of those angles. So while there were others questions that had been posed to him just a few moments ago, Griswold imagined that those could be answered as they went about the remainder of their day.
Because while this had been a small victory over the forces present at this particular place, he had a feeling that they were not exactly done yet. Still needing to find whether there was actually a reason for these spriggan to become this warped on site, or the body of the missing magic knight for that matter, he for one was not about to be leaving until he had at least gotten the latter part of that list crossed off. And so now, all they could really do was continue to do their best by getting to the bottom of it in the only way they knew how.

[attr="class","temppost"] Magnus let a small smile show on his face as Victoria agreed to go along with Griswold's new group. He was happy to know that he'd be joining a group of people that he was fond of and that they were both people that he highly respected and held in high regard. Victoria was a noble though she held an heir of pride and hubris about her, she was still down to earth and someone who treated others with respect. He had yet to see Victoria truly ever treat someone badly, and the young girl's outlook on life was much more mature for her age than many others he had met. Not to mention the young girl's prowess in battle and skill with her magic. On top of that Fantelow was also very fond of her, and she was thoughtful, and she had a new forming connection with his cousin Bacchus.
As for Griswold, the man exuded strength, and though he could be rather crass at times, Griswold had a moral compass that always seemed to point in the direction of good and justice. The man was a standing embodiment of strength and skill, and thus far many of his adventures as a Magic Knight had been thanks to this man, something which Magnus found himself enjoying greatly, and that was to say nothing of Griswold's own accomplishments. Magnus had full faith that if he was to join Griswold's new forming organization it would lead to nothing but good, if not some dangerous situations, but such things were just more experience in Magnus's eyes.
Though upon hearing that he would be one of the first two official members, a founding member at that, Magnus was alight with joy, that meant that Griswold had waited until he was around those he could truly trust and think to ask for help, and Magnus was both delighted and honored that he was on of such people. Magnus himself could think of many other choices, for those who would be a better fit to have been asked first or to be in his position, and as such, being asked to join first was a rather humbling experience and a great inspiration of joy for him. He was curious as to where this new world would take him.
Though when Griswold told them the name he had thought would be good for the organization Magnus held no objections to it, instead he smiled and stated "I'm honored and I think that's a lovely name," and he wasn't lying, after all, Griswold had put in ample amounts of work to earn his title and with it, it carried all of his adventures and work he had done for the kingdom, to name the organization after himself was less hubris and more because it was signified something that already existed for the betterment of the kingdom. Magnus had no objections and he rather liked the sound of it.
After everything was all said and done Magnus focused back on the task at hand, as things stood there was still a lot to be unanswered. Sure they had stopped what was planting flowers, but that was all, they had yet to find the missing knight or truly discover what was going on, or what it was that had corrupted those creatures, and from the look on Griswold's face, and the fact that the more experienced knight didn't head for the entrance and on his merry way told Magnus that there was still more to be discovered...
