It wouldn't take long for the old crone to give up the information that she had held on the whereabouts of the bear that had been residing within the area. Remove such a beast from the lands surrounding her shop had been a highly important thing to her at the moment. There was already too much trouble stirring up with this bear having been within the area as it was. Of course the Spring Deacon would decide to head on out in search of this beast once the woman had given up any and all information that she had pertaining to the creature. She would even go as far as to speak on how she had been hoping for the Spring Deacon to kill the beast if at all possible. The thought of doing such a thing hadn't sat well with Thaddeus... and he had come to understand that this wasn't the kind of person that he was in this moment.

Either way, the Spring Deacon would eventually depart from the old crone's abode and would head on out into the woods surrounding the area. Several hours of searching throughout the forest, in search of this bear, had gone to pass before Thaddeus would eventually come upon something that would catch his attention. Residing within a cave that had been imbedded into a small mound of earth had been a big brown bear whom had been hulking in comparison to the Spring Deacon. This lumbering beast of a bear had seemed to have been on high alert at the moment. Almost as though it was preparing for a possible fight, despite the fact that it hadn't even managed to catch wind of the Deacon yet. Was something else going on here or had the bear always been on edge? Not really knowing the answer to this question, Thaddeus would decide to take advantage of the situation. The Spring Deacon would begin to raise his right hand in a rather dramatic fashion and would ultimately shout the name of this spell that he had been casting, alerting the bear to his presence. "Oread!" Upon doing so, the carbon matter from just ahead of him shifts and shapes itself into a pair of four meter tall carbon golems. 

Having become quite aware of the fact that it was now in danger, the large brown bear would stand up on it's hindfeet before belting out a powerful roar. With this roar, Thaddeus would begin to find himself almost stuck in place from how afraid he had been in this moment. Well.. fear was a strong word. It was more like he was paralyzed with anxiety at the moment. Even with that being the case though, Thaddeus had decided to mentally command one of his golems to bull rush the large brown bear whilst the other would be directed to come on over towards him and protect him from any harm. The first blow from the carbon golem had managed to hurt the large brown bear but it still wasn't enough to finish things. That is why the Spring Deacon was forced to shake off the fear that was overtaking him and would than close the distance between himself and the creature. This was a highly reckless decision that he had been unlikely to undertake again in the future but once Thaddeus had gotten close enough to the creature, he would begin to box with the large brown bear, sending a pair of fists in the directions of the bears lower jaw and that of its chest. Two singular blows had been dealt to the creature as it would swipe away at one of the golems and send it shattering into the ground behind it. There was still another goblin at the moment and Thaddeus was sure that the bear had been uneasy. The fact that it had decided to run along and try to survive in this moment had proven this point to him of course. Now that the bear issue had finally been resolved, Thaddeus would speak with the old crone and residents of Hapshass alike. Each individual had seemed to be quite content with the fact that this threat had been removed. All in a days work, he always says.
