[attr="class","dungentitle"]THE CABIN IN THE WOODS
RANK: Junior LOCATION: Forsaken Region MIN-MAX PLAYER GROUP: 2 - 4
While few things in the land of Clover ever truly feel normal for the people living in the forsaken region, often encountering mana beasts wandering from the Fringe or having to deal with strange magical phenomena, sometimes, things appear in a way one would not expect. Along the border between the forsaken region and the fringe, not too far from Hage, a cabin suddenly appeared by the edge of the woods. Not hearing any noises or sounds that indicated it being built by someone, hunters claimed that they were out hunting deer one moment, finding that a whole cabin had jumped up from the ground in the next. With there being no one nearby, some people had ventured into the small building, though they never came out, prompting those that were watching and waiting for them to go running for the nearest magic knight headquarters to ask for help. If you dare, venture into the cabin in the woods, and see what it has in store for you.

NUMBER OF ROOMS: 2 WORD COUNT PER ROOM: 1000 FLOOR DESCRIPTION:
Pointed towards the "cabin in the woods", which is still surrounded by a bunch of locals from a safe distance, watching and waiting for their people to come back out at some point, getting into the building itself is not that hard. Looking like a rickety little wooden cabin rather than a luxurious villa, all doors leading into the place are left unlocked, leading into the same downstairs area. With old curtains, old furniture and very old wooden floors, it is hard to believe that this place just popped up or was built recently. All you can do right now is to check out every nook and cranny of this old cabin in hopes of finding any clues as to what happened to the people that entered it.
Savage warriors who dwell within these swamp-lands, they do not enjoy the presence of humans. Only seeing them in passing, they consider them to be an omen of bad things to come, and will hunt them down and kill them purely out of superstition. Believing that eating the flesh of humans gives them great strength and allows them to survive whatever calamity they might bring with them, no human is safe around these hideous creatures. They do not possess any kind of magic.
These archers hide along the treeline, backing up their warriors with precision shots aimed at taking out those that are not on their guard. Purposefully aiming for gaps in armor, the achilles heel and the eyes, the archers are pragmatic hunters that will kill, skin and gut just about anythingthat seems even remotely edible. In close quarters, they can fight with their skinning knife after dropping their bow. They do not use any form of magic.

Entering into the cabin, you find very few things to be out of the ordinary, but plenty of things that do not add up to the story you've been told. From all angles, it is clear to see that this cabin is very old, and could not have been built in the past twenty-four hours or so. Regardless, as you look throughout the room, eventually, you start feeling a bit light-headed. Feeling as though the ceiling, floors and walls are starting to crawl away from you, for a moment, it's hard to tell what is up and what is down. And then, as you blink your eyes, everything suddenly changed.

Opening your eyes again, you suddenly find yourself in a swamp. With your feet up to your knees in murky water, almost every move you make sloshes the water and creates a good deal of noise. With there being a light up in the distance, you see a campfire on dry land. So as you make your way towards it, you suddenly find yourself attacked by creatures who seem to be more beast than man. Dropping down from the trees above, you see civilians running for their lives along the banks of the swamp. At this point it becomes clear that you will need to make your way through this place by force.

NUMBER OF ROOMS: 2 WORD COUNT PER ROOM: 1500 FLOOR DESCRIPTION:
Once you have saved as many of the civilians as you could, left them all for dead and/or have taken out the man-beasts, you begin making your way over to the light in the distance cast by a campfire along the dry shore. The closer you get to it however, the more the strange feeling from before starts impacting you, as well as that of the civilians. Then, in a moment's notice, you find yourself standing in the middle of a massive open expanse of sand. Littered with the skeletal remains of a great deal of animals that seemingly all died here in some kind of drought, even the wind feels dry and hot. And while the sands seem barren, there is more to it than meets the eye.
These large and carnivorous beetles live beneath the hot sands of the arid desert known as the dune-sea to some. Dormant until they sense movement up above, they burst through the sands in an attempt at killing their prey and stripping every last shred of flesh off of their bones before going dormant once again. Being slightly larger than the average dog, their speed and squad tactics make fighting these creatures relatively difficult. At the end of the day, they adhere to the will of the hive matron.
This massive bug is the last remaining specimen of an invasive species of insects that can control other insects using pheromones. Introducing itself as the queen to a species of locals to the dune-sea, the scarabs, they bring her food and serve her every whim. Once she feels her hive is being threatened, she will burst through the sands and spit corrosive acid while controlling his loyal subjects to attack those she deems a threat.

Those with at least 10 Sensory or Ki tier 1 will be able to tell where exactly the scarabs are by watching movements in the sand, allowing them to avoid a fight in this particular area. Should the group end up fighting or not, by moving through this area, they get one step closer to the source of all the bones in the area.

With her large and long claws, she can inflict painful wounds and reach quite some distance away from her while scarabs will attempt to gnaw away at your flesh. Eradicate the hive matron and any remaining scarabs and get the hell out of that desert before you add to the bone piles.

After being forcefully jumped from one place to the next, surviving a swamp encounter with a bunch of man beasts, braving the arid sands of the corpse desert and the oversized bugs dwelling beneath the bones of the dead, the third jump puts you inside of a building. And not just any building, but some sort of tavern where a bunch of the other missing civilians have popped into. Clearly being the lucky ones as they hadn't landed in a marshland to be chased by creatures that sought to eat them, or a desert where creatures sought to eat them, you also spot a bunch of strange appearances, but decide to make the best of it for the time being.
These drunk and rowdy patrons come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from human beings to man-beasts, villtsung, horrors from another galaxy, you name it. But for all of their differences, they have one thing in common. They are very, very drunk. As such, all it takes is the right bit of motivation to cause an uproar and give birth to a good old fashioned tavern brawl. Armored with chairs, pitchers, barstools and bottles, they aren't exactly out to murder you, they're just very, very drunk.
Simply called "That guy with the squid face" is one of the primary patrons that comes to luck's end to drink. Where he, or she, as no one can really tell, comes from remains a mistery. One thing that is known about it is that it does not enjoy being disturbed, which is why it tends to sit and drink alone. Possessing a certain level of mind controlling abilities, affecting the feeble minds of drunks is very much within its range of capabilities, and will result to doing just that if it comes down to a fight. Shgla'yos can use attack creation magic, as well as illusion magic by utilizing miasma as a foundation, capable of using the latter to control rowdy patrons in the area.
A long time ago, Sveinbjorn was just a regular Villtsung, and had a raiding party at his disposal. Fighting, raiding and pillaging for the good of his people, the group eventually made their way to an island where they revered a bear god. Considering it all to be a hoax, he and his men murderer the majority of these people and took the rest as slaves, which was when a massive bear attacked them out of nowhere. Killing every last member of the raiding party, Sveinbjorn managed to bury his axe in his skull before the bear could kill him, thus killing it instead. Since then, his body has been cursed with bear features, also making him that much more prone to violence. These days, he spends most of his time drinking in the tavern. Sveinbjorn is prone to fight of rage, caused when he takes damage. Should he receive a hit, his physical damage will increase by an intermediate amount.

Clearly being some kind of outlandish bar where the booze is in fact for free as no one is seen paying, some corners of the room are becoming a bit rowdy. Taking note of some of the man-beasts from the swamp drinking ale with humans, they get violent over losing, and draw their weapons. Take them out, but don't kill them or destroy the furniture.

After the Bar Brawl, it seems that the vibe has spread across the room, as a man with a squid face stands up, complaining how you and your nitwits have caused him to spill his drink all over his fine silk attire. Claiming that this will not stand, he raises his hands as a strange blue miasma rises from his body, causing the surrounding patrons to fly into a frenzy and start attacking you. With them clearly not being in control over their own actions, and the squid man being rather intoxicated and pissed off, you need to take them all out without killing them.

No sooner than after the man with the squid face is stopped and the people under his sway went down, a man who appears part human and part bear rises from his seat and jumps on top of the table before releasing a deep, drawn out howl and yelling the words "Tavern Brawl!". Kicking all of the remaining patrons into overdrive, some of them, including the bear man come straight for you, attacking you and the civilians of Clover. Hitting them with mugs, chairs or simply picking them up and tossing them across tables and stools, you will need to knock every last one of them down to put an end to this whole damned thing. Should you manage to defeat the bear man and the drunk patrons, an old woman will step forth from behind the bar, claiming this has gone on long enough, and that the bar will be closed for today. Waving her hands around, when people would blink their eyes, they would find themselves laying in the grasslands north of Hage along with all of the civilians, with the cabin in the woods being gone.

[F1-R1]
Having recently wrapped up some rather interesting training with his various cousins at the Wilhelm family estate, Thaddeus had decided to ask for his cousin, Lustian, to accompany him on a rather forested exploration of the Forsaken Realm. He had recently heard rumors from several Magic Knights in passing that there had apparently been a rickety old cabin that had suddenly appeared by the edge of the woods, not all that far from Hage. Apparently there had been several individuals that had entered the wooden abode and had never come back out. Although he hadn't quite had any sort of obligation to assist with this sort of ordeal, given that he had been a Deacon of the Church of Clover as opposed to that of a Magic Knight, Thaddeus had still hoped to assist in whatever capacity that he possibly good. In doing so, he would not only be able to show the good people of the Forsaken Realm that the Church of Clover had their protection and interests at heart, but he would boost the standing of the Wilhelm family as well. At least that is how he is hoping that the entire thing goes. Honestly.. He wasn't even all that sure that he would be able to come out of this entire ordeal on his own if he hadn't managed to convince his cousin to come with him. Thankfully the other members of the Wilhelm family had been much stronger than he had been.
Not wishing to head on in alone, Thaddeus would wait outside of the cabin until his cousin had been fully prepared. It wouldn't do for them to rush into unnecessary danger after all. He didn't wish to act in the rather reckless manner that his cousin Klara had when it came to these kinds of things, after all. That is how one gets injured. It is best to play it safe in whatever way that one can. "Thanks again for agreeing to come with me on this expedition, Lustian. While I might have been able to manage on my own, thanks to the grace of the Gnome and my handy golems, I still felt as though it would be better to take precautions. I highly appreciate the fact that you are here with me."
Once everyone that had come along had been prepared, Thaddeus would turn the handle to the front door of this wooden cabin. Interestingly enough, albeit rather unsurprisingly, the front door had been left unlocked. "I.. suppose that it makes sense now how people keep ending up in here without really any issues. One would think that the Magic Knights would have cordoned off this rickety little cabin by now, like they had done for that house in Kikka." Although he hadn't meant to take a jab at the Magic Knight organizations, it wouldn't have been too surprising if that was how his words had come across. Hopefully that wouldn't turn out to be the case.
Upon entering the cabin itself, Thaddeus would begin to survey the immediate surroundings. From the looks of the inside of the abode, this cabin had been fairly old. In fact, it hadn't seemed as though it had recently appeared at all! The old curtains, old furniture, and very old wooden floors had left very little room for one to believe that this place had only just been here. If he didn't know any better, he would have believed that this cabin had been here for years. The entire ordeal surrounding the cabin now felt even more strange. Was this cabin something that had resided within this region the entire time but had been masked with some kind of illusory magics? Or had it simply appeared from out of the blue, like the rumors had said? There were far too many possibilities surrounding the matter and Thaddeus honestly wasn't sure which theory he should have subscribed to at the moment.
"This... doesn't feel right. What exactly is going on in here? Clearly this place is much older than what we were led to believe. What do you think?" As he would wait to see the thoughts that would be shared, Thaddeus would begin to feel a soft pang of pain in his head. It was clear that onset lightheadedness was finding its way to the Deacon but he hadn't been too concerned about it. 'Eh, I must have forgotten to hydrate myself further before leaving the estate. I'll need to be sure to prepare for such an eventuality in the future. If only I had some water on me at the moment.. I hope that this feeling passes soon.'

At first, Lustian was a bit surprised having found that Thaddeus had asked him for help. Not simply because he desired help, but more so because of the nature of the task which he desired to undertake. A dungeon wasn't something he thought his cousin who had shied away from things like wanting to be in the magic knights was something that they'd want to do. Even so, Lustian had found himself becoming bored with the day-to-day life, missions were all fine and dandy, but it had been quite some time since he had attempted a dungeon. As the heir of the family, a magic knight, and one of the oldest of their group he felt it was his duty to help. Not only would it benefit the family but it would also help the kingdom.
Finding Thaddeus had already done some research regarding the dungeon, Lustian decided to relay the details to Dante and Klara in the case that they wanted to tag along. Lustian found himself admiring Thaddeus's courage the more he found out about the dungeon. He felt his cousin truly embodied the essence of the church of gnome.
Several people had gone into this dungeon and hadn't come back out, which meant they were either still trapped within or perished. Lustian decided that he would lean toward hoping that those who entered could still be rescued, by the knowledge that someone could still potentially be trapped inside was one that spurred him into action all the more. Lustian had arrived at the cabin in his usual garb of white flowing fabric, though this time he had two weapons strapped two his back, one being his spear he had made himself, and the other being a relic he had been given by the family. He hadn't used the tool since he was last in peril doing some business for the family and magic knights alike.
"Anytime cousin, I'm happy to help. Besides as a magic knight, it's my duty to help those in need. Especially family." He said with a smile and reassuring nod to his cousin. Lustian thought the dungeon entrance was rather odd, though judging from the large mana signature emanating from it, he knew for a fact that it was certainly a dungeon. The pressure from it wasn't something that he thought he couldn't handle, but a large amount of concentrated mana caused him to be on guard. After all, dungeons could be unpredictable.
Lustian let Thaddeus take the lead, he figured that if anything was to immediately jump out at them he would sense it coming, and if he was too late, he was confident in his speed being enough to save Thaddeus if he was to come under any danger. Though thankfully as his slender cousin opened the door and hid inside they found nothing out of the ordinary, except for the interior...
"Hm, I'm sure it's because the word has been spread throughout the nearby living areas by now to avoid this place, at that point, it is a bit safer. However, that's not to say I don't agree, I'll be sure to put in a request for this area to be fenced off." Lustian said, his eyes peering about, his body was visibly relaxed but it was clear from the way he walked and took glances around the area, that he was on guard. He scanned the old room, taking note of how old the decor and room itself appeared to be. Thaddeus spoke again, and Lustian's ear twitched in response before he spoke, "dungeons are strange. As they are made from a concentration of mana they come in all shapes and forms, some can even change along the way. Looks can and usually are deceiving in places like this."
Lustian moved forward finding that all but the exit door was locked, he moved the curtains, and poofs of dust littered about. As he did find he was able to peer outside. Waving the dust out of his face, Lustian, moved back toward his cousins. Then as he stood he began to feel lightheaded, the mana around them felt weird, unnatural. As a dwarf Lustian was able to feel the natural mana around him and was especially adept at sensing mana told him that something wasn't right. The mana around him pricked at his skin like needles.
F1,R2: 839
"Everyone prepare yourselves, something is happening," Lustian said, taking the forefront of the group, as he forced himself to stay steady. He blinked and when he opened his eyes he found the scenery had changed in an instant. "Got dammit," he muttered with a sigh, he focused on keeping his nerves together, but he could feel that they were going wild. He wasn't sure if they had been transported through something like spatial magic, or if the dungeon had simply "dropped" them in another room somehow, but one thing was for certain; they weren't alone. He could feel the mana signatures hidden further away in the distance.
"Potential enemies ahead," Lustian said as he reached his left hand behind his back grabbing the pole of his self-made spear 'Love Tap,' hefting the spear in his hand, he placed it at his side. He could feel and see that his and everyone else's were up to their knees in murky water. Every move they made was sloshing sound and was creating more noise.
Lustian made a 'tsking' sound as he looked forward. He could see that there were lights up ahead, and a campfire could also be seen as well as dry land. "That dry land over there is our goal, but I can't see the enemies from here, but I'm sure with the mana signatures I feel there are roughly about 16 of them, some of which are farther than others but there should be around 8 closest to us once we get to land. 4 in the front and 4 behind. I can also feel some other weaker signatures." Lustian said wondering if the weaker mana signatures were the several people who had entered the dungeon.
With a short pause, he spoke again, "Dante you and Klara can take the front lines, I and Thaddeus will be in the backline and I'll adjust my positioning as needed." Lustian said as he gestured to let his cousins all move in front of him, he could feel the mana signatures stir, as he moved thus there was no need to try and be sneaky, no the loud noise of the relatively empty swampland was more than likely a large broadcast to all the foes nearby that they had already arrived.
"In the case that we get flanked don't worry about me and simply continue focusing on what's within your reach, as I have talent in sensory magic I can use the vast majority of my spells without impacting you all." He said as they trudged forward. Lustian could grimace as the sloshing swamp water filled his pants, he hated it more by the second, but sometimes being a magic knight meant getting down and dirty. He had grown used to the comforts of being noble, but his time as a child in the wild had begun slowly taking over. Finally, as they made their way to land, Lustian heard a rustling from the nearby swamp shrubbery. The campfire was still farther in the distance, but like his thought enemies had already come upon them all.
Antlered man-beast creatures appeared, some held primitive weapons such as a sword and shield, whereas as Lustian could sense others in the treelines in the distance. He decided to attack those first and immediately began to respond with a spell to the initial charge of the 4 land creatures, trusting his cousins to take care of them. "Cosmic Clay magic~" he muttered, channeling his mana into his left hand is formed into a glowing orb that resembled a cold planet. He pushed it outward from his hands, and the ball unraveled into tendrils of mana that appeared to look like dyed wet clay before it finally to the shape of an ornate lance. He mused the words "Ludus's chase," before tossing the lance out like a spear and aiming it for the tree line, the frosted blue lances blade glittered like a night sky, leaving behind a trail of frosty mist.
Though Lustian wasn't finished yet, the homing in his spear had locked in on the positions of those within the treeline, rustling could be heard as the enemies noticed the evident danger but unfortunately for them, they weren't nearly fast enough to dodge it. Especially as he muttered the words "pursue" the lance unraveled into tendrils that began to spin so fast it became that of a frosted blue drill, a flurry of gasp could be heard as the blinding light of the spell impaired the targets before the drill came crashing into the treeline causing nothing more than the remains of shattered trees and mutilated man-beast creatures to fall to the ground with a sickening thud... Lustian frowned as he realized these creatures had no true amount of mana for him to siphon.
After everyone had finished the first initial 4 enemies, as they moved forward, Lustian peered down the tree line, jabbing through the fallen creatures with his spear to make sure they were dead. Dropping down from the trees above Lustian alongside the others Lustian could see a few civilians running away from 8 man-beast warriors for dear life.

After defeating that stupid hat, the girl heard that the deacon wanted to go onto another assignment with the heir from the heir. It sounded like a very simple assignment, they had to go explore a cabin some hunters discovered. What made this not so simple was that this took place in the forsaken realm. Also, nobody built the thing. It just sort of poof into existence. It honestly reminded her of a horror play but that was neither here or there. If she could take out eldritch horrors, invisible bats, slime monsters, and talking hats, then she could explore a weird cabin. This time, she wore a jade green cloak with the hood over her head and topaz yellow crop top and shorts. She didn't bring any shoes but she did bring her ruby gauntlets.
She was a bit late to the cabin due to nervousness and given how weak she was acting because of fears she with how the deacon might have felt about her after their first dungeon she may not have given a yes or no if she was going. But she did want to go one hundred percent. So she was sprinting to the area as quickly as she could. When she arrived, she quickly greeted everyone. "Sorry... sorry. I... I wanted to make sure I was extra prepared and I lost track of time." She was still catching her breath so when the others entered the room, she told them she would be behind them after catching her breath.
She started prepping herself given what happened on her adventure with the deacon. She would activate two new spells she was she was practicing. First she crossed her chest with her right hand nodes of black oynx grew and scatter spots on her body and clothes. Then she tapped he right leg with her right hand and a streak of sapphire ran down her other leg, stopping at her ankle. Now that her defensives were covered she kicked the door open. "Don't start fighting without me muahah!" However the room was empty. The girl was confused. It had not even been a minute since everyone entered. She stomped her foot in anger and rushed inside.
The place looked old, very old. Like who ever built this thing needed to hire a maid to clean it up. It did not even come to her mind that the place was suppose to have appeared very recently she darted across the space investigating everything carefully but it was getting harder and harder to focus. It was like reading a history book and going through a listen of dates and events on a warm sunny day while you barely got sleep. Sure the girl was a bit nervous but she was not sleep deprived. Maybe it was the run here. The girl perked up a bit and took a deep breath. That had to be it, she just needed to catch her breath. So she closed her eyes and took another breath and when she opened her eyes, everything changed.
F1R2: 724
She was woozy. Her stomach was spinning and the new environment felt like daggers to her mind. She was in a house and now she was in the middle of a swamp. "Thaddeus! Dante! Lus-" suddenly the girl fell to her knees and vomited the left overs of her lunch. "Ugh... at least... I feel better," she muttered. Standing back up, she heard a voice and some good news. "That's Lustian, and he said enemies!" Excited, the girl rushed into the direction of his voice. While she was able to finally meet with everyone, she was also met with a waist full of water. Well, really, it came up to her shorts but it might as well been at her waist. "Ugh... why did you have to pick this path... Oh. Thaddeus. Maybe you can summon your golems and we can ride them through the swamp!" She was really not pleased with the who idea of walking through swamp water. What if there were leeches or weird fish.
After walking for a bit, a small light poked out of the bog. Finally, they would be out of the water and able to get their footing again. However, Lustian seemed to think enemies fight be on there and began commanding them like chess pieces. She did not mind though. She was not the tactician in the family. Also, she was allowed to be in the front of all the actions which meant they would get to see how great she was. She did have to share the front with Dante but that was not really a problem because she was sure she was faster. She pushed herself through the water to lead the charge not caring if Dante was behind her. Had they been on land, she would be sprinting forward. So he was lucky the water was holding her back. The enemies in front were not so lucky.
Lustian was already on the offensive blasting 4 lances of Cosmic Clay at 4 archer deer man creatures. It was a good thing too because they were completely open in the water to range attacks. Well... she did have a new barrier spell but... she was not ready to use another magic yet. Still, the assault was on and it was time to act. She rushed forward and once she had enough land to make a jump, she jumped out of the water and rushed onto the land. She was the first to reach land given she was the fastest person here and she was going to use speed to its fullness. Sprinting towards the 8 man horde goat like warriors with shields and swords. Sadly it would not save them. "Cowards! Have a bit more pride so when I break you, people will be more impress hehe." A sadistic smile grew on her face as she lunged forward and knocked down on of the warriors with a sweep kick. This stopped the pack and got all their attention on her. She stomped her foot on the back of the beast, cracking it's spine and then looked glared back at the remaining 8. Licking her lips, like a hungry predator she rushed forward into the fray Punching one back because it blocked with its shield. Another one charged her with it's sword swinging down but she just took the blow and laughed. "Best you got beast?" The creature was started with how the girl just took the hit without injury. This was long enough for her to slam her foot into it's knee sending it falling into her which she then side stepped and deliver a haymaker into its cheek. A loud satisfyingly crack sold the hit and the creature hit the ground sliding motionless. The girl cracked her knuckles and then started bouncing between her feet ready to move as needed.
The beast finally got over their shock and realized they needed to treat this tiny warrior as a serious threat. So they started grouping in preparation to overwhelm her. So if Dante or another one of her party wanted her to move out the way so they could launch a bigger spell, she would quickly back off to avoid the collateral damage. Otherwise, the girl would prepare to go in again as she could feel her body was almost ready to use another spell.

When Dante had first heard the details about the dungeon, he had been a bit skeptical about joining. A small cabin appearing out in the woods of the Fringe didn't really sound all that interesting and he was fine with letting Lustian and Thaddeus go on it alone. His response changed though once he learned that those who entered the cabin were not returning. At that point, Dante felt that he had an obligation to offer his assistance otherwise how could he call himself a magic knight. So when Lustian had invited both Klara and him to accompany them into this dungeon, Dante nodded his agreement to his cousin before heading up to his room and retrieving his armor, donning it and heading back down to join them. "A part of me can't also help but be curious as to how both Klara and Thaddeus will do in this dungeon. I know that Klara wanted to take the upcoming magic knights exam so this should work as good training for her. We can also give her some tips to focus on whatever areas she's lacking in." the lava user mused. While he himself hadn't taken the exams in order to join the Golden Dawn, he had gained some experience with battles so he was sure that he'd be able to offer some advice to his cousins.
Arriving in the Forsaken Region, their group was quickly pointed to where the dungeon was located; the locals surrounding it from a safe distance. They were probably all waiting for their friends and family to make it back to them safe and sound. Dante wanted to comfort them, assure them that they would bring their family back but ultimately decided against that course of action. He had no knowledge of where they went or what state they would be found in. He didn't want to give anyone any false hope in case in turned out that they were all dead. Instead, he nodded and thanked them before following the others inside the cabin and looked around; body tense and waiting for an attack.
As far as cabins went, he had seen better. It was a rickety little shed, filled with old curtains, furniture and floors leaving it hard to believe that this place had sprung up recently. All the doors were unlocked and seemed to lead to a downstairs area from what he had investigated and Dante decided to throw his 2 yul into the conversation between his cousins. "Even with that being the case, you'd think that this dungeon would have a more modern look to it. I mean this whole place looks like its one strong wind from toppling over." he stated before wondering where all the missing citizens had gone. There weren't that many places that they could have hidden and from what had seen there was no backdoor or anything that they could have snuck out of. "Maybe spacial magic of some kind to ferret them away? But for what purpose?" he though, glancing over at Klara as she kicked open the door, gemstones formed over her body. He quickly identified them as Onyx and Sapphire, with the Onyx forming some sort of makeshift armor over parts of her body. It was wasteful of her to use her magic so soon, especially with no threats around and he was about to tell her to conserve her mana before Lustian's warning rang out in his ears and Dante tensed his body further, eyes roaming around in an attempt to find a target.
After a blink, Dante found himself looking about in confusion as his surroundings had changed. No longer were they in the rickety old cabin, instead he found himself knee deep in swamp water with a campfire off in the distance. "Guess my theory about there being some spacial magic user turned out to be true," he muttered under his breath before Lustian's warning about enemies ahead caused him to turn his focus back to the matter at hand. "Aye, aye captain," the armored teen said, giving his cousin a thumbs up before he sloshed his way forward muttering under his breath "this muck better come out of my clothes or someone's going to pay for this."
He didn't have to wait long as from the shrubbery came 12 strange horned creature; each of them being slightly taller than Lustian, as well as 4 horned archers. "What the fuck kind of creatures are these?" he said, fascinated by their appearance even as he folded his middle finger over his ring, calling for his dragon golems from the mana circle that formed in the air in front of him. He sent a mental command to the two golems to deal with two of the warriors while he himself charged toward another, sending it sprawling to the ground with a quick 2 hits before snapping its neck, ensuring that it died. Lustian had taken care of the 4 archers in quick succession while Klara dealt with 2 of the warriors herself. "Sadistic little thing isn't he," he thought with a chuckle before noting the remaining 7 warriors where choosing to target the civilians who had been at the camp. "Not on my watch," he muttered, bending his knees as mana formed around his legs. The other Wilhelms would hear the stocky teen yell out the phrase "Unleash!" before a red streak would rush forward, coming up behind the warriors before another cry echoed out "Scorching ruby rush!"
Dante's now clawed foot lashed out, smashing into the back of the head of the one of the beasts, sending it flying into one of the trees before it's body fell to the forest floor. There it twitched for a few seconds, before stilling, indicating that the creature was dead and was quickly followed by another of its brethren as another pair of boots kick it in the back of the knee before stomping on its head as Dante maneuvered himself between the beasts and panicking civilians, motioning them to charge forward if they dared.

After which he calls the name of his spell out to activate it fully. These boots are 20 inches in size from top to bottom. After which he calls out the name of the spell to fully activate it. This spell gives him a speed boost as the toes allow him a better grip of his environment and maneuverability on different surfaces, in addition to the mana itself increasing his speed. Due to a large amount of compressed lava at the bottom of the boots lava upon contact with a designated target causes an optional knockback dictated by Dante in the direction of impact. Attempting to cause Intermediate rank damage of noticeable, painful cuts, bruises, 2nd-degree burns, and can break through most walls that are not reinforced. By focusing Dante can make boots as big as 6 meters. These boots can float in front of Dante, he can wear and pass these boots to allies if he wants. Following the ammo rules, Dante can create a number of additional boots based on his control stat to launch at a target. Due to the knockback rule, the opponent is knocked back 4 meters plus 5 meters for every 10 power.

It had taken a single blink and nothing more. Having found himself lightheaded and on the cusp of keeling over, Thaddeus would begin to place his right hand on his head. He was holding in everything that had wished to expel itself from his stomach and honestly wasn't sure what it was that was happening. The entire ordeal had been rather harrowing but then he would blink. With that single blink, Thaddeus and the others of the Wilhelm family would go on to find themselves in an entirely separate location. From what he could tell, it had been.. a swamp? How did they possibly end up in the middle of some far forgotten swamp? This whole thing had been leaving Thaddeus with a bit of an actual headache and he wasn't enjoying it. Especially considering the fact that his vestments had been soaking up the swamp water... This was going to be a major pain to get out of it and would likely stink up his outfit for weeks. Gnome only knows how unbearable this is going to be.
Before the thoughts could fully overtake the young Deacon, Thaddeus' cousin Lustian would speak up on the fact that there were enemies ahead. From there he would launch himself into battle, casting a spell that would render four of these deer-like archers incapacitated within mere seconds. Honestly, the way that Lustian had leapt to to charge and direct this battle had inspired Thaddeus. Even though this act was coming from a Magic Knight, from a member of the Golden Dawn even, this was the first time that Thaddeus had bore witness to such tactical capabilities. It was a clear and concise decision made in the matter of mere moments and Thaddeus was reassured by this simple fact. If it was his cousin Lustian that he was following, Thaddeus was sure that he could make it through this escapade in no time and with little danger. The follow ups from Klara and Dante had been much appreciated as well. The fact that they were so prepared to take on any major threats at the moment was reassuring. Thaddeus still hadn't been quite so sure about Klara's behaviors, given that she was always rushing off into danger, but he wouldn't really mention it here in this moment. From the looks of it, she was capable of handling herself here and if anything were to happen, his cousins could step in and assist. There really wasn't anything for him to worry about at the moment.
After his cousins had managed to get themselves involved in the combat as well, Thaddeus had figured that he might as well assist them where he could. There wasn't really a ton that he could do here to assist them... but he wasn't going to hold them back if he could help it. In order to be of use here, Thaddeus would raise his right hand in a rather dramatic fashion and shouts aloud a single word. "Oread!" Upon doing so, the carbon matter that had been at the bottom of the swamp waters would begin to shift and twist and ultimately clump together to give birth to three golems made specifically of that carbon matter. Each golem, now dripping with murky swamp water, had stood at over four meters tall and would immediately begin to move forward with a singular mental command. As the golems had begun to move forward, Thaddeus would rush forward and leap onto the back of one of them, climbing it until he had stood upon its shoulder. After the carbon golems had reached the point in which the other five man-beast warriors had stood, Thaddeus would direct the golems to crush the deer-like individuals under foot. 'Just two left and than we can continue on.. This is much easier with multiple people, as opposed to just two of us. Maybe we should always do these kinds of things together. I'll have to see what they say after we clear this dungeon... If we can ever make it out of wherever the hell it threw us.' Just before Thaddeus could voice any sort of opinions, the remaining two man-beast warriors would rush forward with their weapons and shields in hand and would attempt to slam their swords into two of the carbon golems. The only question now is whether or not the Wilhelm's would allow for such a thing to happen.

Lustian instead decided that he simply could off the two other creatures with ease, especially as he watched his family members get to work. Moving forward to the remaining creatures Lustian whipped his spear about, spinning Love Tap within his right hand, he moved toward the first of the remaining creatures, slashing at its neck with a simple swipe of the blade, using the momentum of his hefty swing to deal enough damage that resulted in the creatures head falling from its neck. Its large body crumbled, and with another spin of the spear, he flicked off its blood, leaving the blade gleaming as it had done before. Arching back his arm and tossing the spear forward he let it fly loose, it whistled through the air as it did, hitting the next of the creatures in the center of its chest. He jogged over, grabbing the spear as the creature's body slumped over. Grabbing the blade from its body with ease, before taking the blade and once more stabbing the creature's face for good measure, Lustian could hear the sound of civilians screaming in the distance.
F2, R1: 1,077
Only two more creatures remained for him to clean up Maria, Thaddeus, and Dante were easily able to dispatch multiple creatures with relatively no problem. Though Lustian had trained with his cousins he hadn't seen them in real-life battle situations. Thus seeing them move so efficiently brought a genuine smile to his face, as he continued forward, having just dispatched six creatures with little remorse. He was sure at some point he would feel some pang of guilt or even have some form of curiosity as to if these creatures truly had souls and such later on, but now wasn't the time to get absorbed by such emotions when danger was afoot.
Lustian had a few tips he'd have to impart to his less experienced family members. Lustian knew that Dante and he had been through their fair share of fights and he most likely picked up on it too. As Dante was one of the frontline fighters he figured that his cousin would be the one to speak up about Maria's aggressive nature. She seemed battle crazed and was having fun, however, such behavior wouldn't be something that would always work out in her favor unless she truly had the strength to back it up.
Lustian only hoped that the young Wilhelm member wouldn't bite off more than she could chew. Although if she was, Lustian knew that he at the very least could heal her using the power of his relic. Said relic having been given to him by the elders of the Wilhelm family, no doubt to keep him and other members of the family safe, and he intended to use it as such. He was grateful to the family for such, but Lustian hoped that one day he could heal others without the need of using an outside source. However, he was sure that if he continued his research into the relic itself that he'd be able to uncover its secrets enough to do so. It would only be a matter of time now as things stood...
Glancing over the trees, he could see two of the civilians running along the banks of the swamp. Making his way to them, making sure that his golden dawn cloak was showing they visibly seemed to calm down from the frantic mindset they were once in. "Fear not, calm down. The creatures have been dispatched, we have to continue moving onward, as I can only see two of you which means the others may still be lost in here. As the heir of the Wilhelm family, and a member of the Golden Dawn, I pledge to keep you both safe, but I must ask that if you all still need to panic then you do so as we continue to push onward. Stay behind me, keep your head down and listen to what I and my family members say and you'll be fine. Is that understood?" Lustian had said a mouthful, and his words though harsh and quick were that of truth. He would do his best to allow no harm to come to them, but time was of the essence, these civilians had been missing for a while now, and the way this dungeon worked was strange. Keeping them where they were could lead to more danger, thus it was easier to just take them with them and protect them.
Lustian turned to his cousins with a nod, offering the floor to them in case they wanted to state anything themselves. The civilians nodded in agreement clearly afraid still but otherwise starting to feel a sense of ease as they took in the magic knight cloaks on both Lustian and Dante, and the tan skin of the other members. Lustian began moving toward the light in the distance, figuring the others would all follow him, however, the closer he got the more the world seemed to warp and change, much like before he felt a tinge of pain in his head, and upon wincing and things blurring, he opened his eyes wide to see that once again the terrain had changed.
This time they were surrounded by sand that was littered with the bones of animals. Moving close to the bones, spear in hand as he inspected the area, it was clear whatever had lived here had perished because of drought. He raised his right eyebrow in curiosity, wondering if this was just scenery placed by the dungeon or if creatures had actually once roamed inside its space. The dry and hot air was already beginning to dry the wet clothes he had on.
"We need to get the civilians out of this place as quickly as possible," Lustian said as he glanced around, his face squinting as he focused his mana senses outward. Pointing outward toward the far right, Lustian spoke, "there are 8 creatures scattered about in that area, and 10 meters ahead there are 4, all of them are hidden beneath the sand. Dante as you and Maria are taking the lead, I'll let you decide if you want to fight them or not, but these 4, I can take out myself."
Lustian said, as he channeled mana into the groove of his right index and middle finger, he pressed his index and middle finger together and bent his thumb down as if pulling back an arrow. He then expanded all of his fingers before clasping his index middle finger and thumb back together as he had before to semi-activate his spell. From his fingers, the cosmic mana stemmed outward flowing and twisting itself into the shape of a sharpened arrow before it hardens between his fingers. Arching back and spreading his legs he brought the arrow back to his chin, having the feathered end of it just above his bottom lip before he opened his fingers as if shooting from an invisible.
The magic arrow flew out "Cosmic Clay Magic", Lustian muttered before balling his fist twice as the arrow shot out like a small dazzling comet, the arrow flew toward the presumably empty sand dunes as he spoke once more "Philia's Strike - Star Shower", the arrow splintered off into a net of constellations, that looked like they lit up a night sky. Crashing into the sand, revealing the four bodies of some bug-like creatures the size of a hound. Lustian nodded to the others, as it was their time to take the lead from here on what they wanted to do.
Description: Channeling his mana into the groove of his right index and middle finger, Lustian presses his index and middle finger together and bends his thumb down as if pulling back an arrow. He then expands all of his fingers before clasping his index middle finger and thumb back together as he had before to semi-activate his spell. From his fingers, the cosmic mana stems outward flowing and twisting itself into the shape of a sharpened arrow before it hardens between his fingers, the shaft of this arrow is yellow, while the arrowhead and feathers of the arrow look like they are made from dazzling night stars. The arrows are only 75 cm (30 inches) long on average but focusing can be made to be 6 meters in size. Lustian designates a target, releasing his grip on the arrow, the arrow is embedded with homing sensory magic and as such it will follow and track a target outside of the arrow's normal, initial movement. Upon speaking balling his fist twice it causes the spell to fully activate, causing the arrow to splinter and break apart into a cluster of 2inch miniature stars, that are connected by thin white lines of solar energy, effectively making what appears to be a cone-shaped 6 meter net of stars. Upon hitting its target the stars burst into a brilliant light of white and yellow attempting to blind the target, as per the blinding rules. Following the ammo rules, Lustian can create a number of additional arrows based on his control stat to launch at a target. Attempting to cause Intermediate rank damage, cuts, bruises, 2nd-degree burns, and can break through most walls that are not reinforced. As well as knocking the target back from the force of impact. Knock Back is calculated by 4m + 5 for every 10 power Lustian has.

Everyone really got to show out for this making it much harder to show out but the girl could only assume that was what happens when your among a bunch of strong people. On one hand, she was not showing out, but on the other hand, they trusted her to come along despite being so powerful. So that could be a sign, a boon just as much as a curse. Lustian resume the charge making sure all the people were okay so the group could move on.
As they moved on, they were free from treading through another body of water but they were no free from the tricks of this cabin. The girl would start to feel dizzy as they walked towards a weird light, blink and then boom, she was surrounded by sand with the rest of everybody else. Unfortunately, her stomach had not arrived yet leading her to fall onto the sand and expel the contents of her stomach, which was empty. So the sensation lasted longer and all she could get out was spit. "Ughhh... I hated it here. WHY DO WE KEEP WARPING!" The girl tried to use her anger to fire herself up but it only made her feel sicker and sent her into round two of having an upset stomach.
What made this even worst was that the sand was hot and the girl would quickly feel her knees and hands burning. "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!" Getting a good look around, there was nothing but bones everywhere. Bones, an angry sun who ruled the sky with its oppressive heat. Quickly jumping to her feet she was both thankful and regretful for her outfit choice. Her cloak would protect her from the rays of the sun and her clothes were thin enough to help her not overheat but... well... she was not wearing shoes. While she could bare the heat due to frequently walking barefoot all the time, that did not make this comfortable. At the very least, she was sober from her upset stomach.
The girl listened while standing on one foot, alternating every several seconds. The instructions of there being enemies was great. something do and distract her from this sand. Only problem was... well, the enemies were under ground. "I'll call this area." First the girl dispelled her sapphire spell. The girl then slammed her fist together and activated her Amber's Strength. Amber covered her gauntlets and feet. The girl felt a bit stupid, forgetting she could do this but now was not the time for this. Why you might ask? Well, because 3 beetles suddenly rose out of the ground. "Perfect."
The she dashed to the beetle to uppercut it but it flew over her head and slashed her back. The girl chuckled before turning around and charging at the beetles only instead of tackling the bugs, she rolled onto the ground into a handstand while spinning rapidly to deliver powerful kicks to all 3 of them. This knocked out all the beetles around her. The girl would then jump into the air and land on one of the beetles. "My side is done!"

With the 5 remaining goat warrior beings focused on him, they didn't take note of Thaddeus summoning some golems to crush them, and Lustian used his spear to kill those that remained. The lava user made a note of how slow Thaddeus' golems moved and figured that they were most likely those of the guardian variety. It was an interesting choice as it showed Dante that his cousin was more focused on fighting defensively or focused on long-range tactics with his golems serving to protect him. "Given the fact that he uses carbon matter, it makes sense though a bit inconvenient to try to use them as a primary means of attack given their speed." Dante mused as he analyzed his cousin's creations. They were a bit crude and didn't really have any special features which were a bit bland in his opinion but to each their own he supposed. He personally preferred to use golems that were more balanced in their constitution though he was considering moving to include predator or scout types soon. Given that he tended to use golems are more of a distraction in order to allow him to close the distance with a target, he was more inclined to go scout types since they were the fastest out of all the golems.
With the battle now over though, this gave Dante some time to turn his attention back to Klara and some...issues that he had with her fighting style. He didn't knock her for being a brawler type; hell that would be hypocritical of him since he was the same and her magic was somewhat suited for that. His issue stemmed from the fact that she had rushed into such a large crowd of creatures, ones that could have easily ganged up on her and broken through her defenses and inflicted some serious damage on the dwarf. There was also the fact that the swamp made maneuverability difficult for him, let alone for someone as short as Klara who was almost up to her waist in the water. "Not to mention her sadism that seems to have cropped up," the lava user thought, a bit concerned with her mentality. Trash talk and taunting were all well and good when in battle, but she seemed to take things perhaps a bit too far for his personal liking. "If it becomes a bigger issue then I'll bring it up with her. Otherwise, I'll just leave things as is though I should give her some recommendation to start picking up some ranged skills if she doesn't have some already."
Lustian soon finished calming down the terrified civilians; the Golden Dawn robes no doubt helping assure them that they were in safe hands. Dante decided to take this chance to question them about the strange happenings in this place. "Have you all been here the entire time?" he asked as Lustian moved towards the campfire in the distance. "Yeah, not really sure how long we've been here since there really isn't any sun or anything to use to judge time. There were some more people with us but they disappeared when they moved towards that campfire over there" one of them said, pointing toward where Lustian was headed. At his words, Dante whipped his head around just in time to watch his cousin disappear from sight, quickly followed by Klara. "I'm getting real sick and tired of this teleporting now" the lava user grumbled before urging the civilians forward after the pair. This was clearly the only way forward for them in order to progress through this dungeon. They all reluctantly moved forward, flanked by his 2 golems as they disappeared one after another before Dante followed behind them ready and tense for whatever would happen next. "Hopefully we all don't get teleported into some volcano or something. Would hate to have to explain to the elders about how the heir of the Wilhelms got killed in a dungeon."
Opening his eyes, Dante saw that he was now in a desert region; the area littered with the bones of a great many animals. So are we just going to keep getting teleported around to another biome with each new place? What's next, a forest? Volcano? Tundra?" he muttered, his boots slowly heating up the sand under his feet as he moved towards one of the bone skeletons. He moved to examine them, quickly coming to the conclusion that they had all died due to dehydration since there were no teeth or claw marks on the bones. "But how did they get here in the first place? Were they created by the dungeon and ended up dying without having something to drink? But why would a dungeon create those beasts without having the means to keep them alive? None of this makes sense." he thought, scratching at the side of his head before turning back to the group.
"Well if you have a direction that you can point us to then go ahead. I don't really see a light leading us to the next location like back in the swamp." Dante responded before his cousin pointed out that there were 8 creatures scattered about the area while giving them the option of whether to fight them or not. "If we don't have to get into a battle with them then I don't see the point," Dante started to say before he was cut off as Klara rushed forward; clad in gem armor and lashing out at 3 of them with punches and kicks. He sighed at her actions as they could have potentially gone through this part of the dungeon without having to fight but now that option was off the table and they'd have to deal with whatever these creatures would be which turned out to be some sort of giant scarab beetles almost 1 meter in height. "Makes sense that we'd be dealing with scarab beetles though I wonder if they were the ones to eat the other animals here." he mused before charging into battle; wanting to make sure that his younger cousin didn't get in over her head.
With a mental command, Dante directed his minotaur to deal with one of the pests that were slowly crawling their way out of the sands as he charged toward the remaining 4 that had gathered together into a swarm, flying towards Klara. They probably thought that there was safety in numbers and could overwhelm the shorter dwarf but all it did was make them an easier target to take down and with his current speed boost from his boots, he quickly arrived at them. He lashed out with his feet and fists; burning one of them alive while the other three had their heads smashed in and crashed dead to the sandy floor. His minotaur had meanwhile dealt with its single target, easily managing to smash it under its large feet. "And that's all 5 of them," he muttered before turning to Klara, checking on her for any injuries.
"You shouldn't charge so far ahead of the rest of us. If you're not sure that you can deal with all of your enemies in one go, you're simply leaving yourself open to being swarmed and overwhelmed" he chastised her after he made sure that she was fine. "You're not alone and you need to think about your teammates and how your actions would impact them. How would you feel if one of us had ended up injured over something that you could have prevented? You need to learn more patience." he finished, waiting to see what she would say. Given what he had learned of her personality in the short amount of time they've known each other, he didn't think that she would take it well but he felt that it needed to be said, especially if she planned to join the magic knight squads. He wasn't sure which one she was planning to join but he doubted any of the captains would put up with her actions.
After her response, Dante was about to retort before something came bursting out of the sand some meters away from them and a loud screech echoed through the desert. It revealed itself to be a larger version of the beetles; this one being about 3 meters in length and flanked by another 12 of the scarabs. "Seems that we've pissed off the mother" he muttered before one of the civilians began to have a mental breakdown, sobs echoing out as tears flowed from his eyes. "It's game over man! Game over! I'm too pretty to get eaten by a giant beetle! I should have never come here in the first place!" His friends attempted to calm him down to no avail though Dante wasn't paying attention to them. No, his focus now was on dealing with their new group of opponents. "Here we go again" he muttered before once again charging forward, blitzing forward before the queen could react to his speed and smashing his foot into her head, shattering it as well as managing to kill 2 of her children before he backtracked towards the group; the civilians all flabbergasted at how quickly he had managed to deal with the queen bug.

From what the Spring Deacon had managed to gather throughout this little expedition into the cabin in the woods, things in this place had been quite... burdensome. The fact that so many individuals had found themselves lost after entering the wood abode had made so much sense now that the Wilhelm family had ventured into the building and had found themselves warping all over the place and being attacked by beast after beast. Honestly, it wasn't quite something that the Spring Deacon had been enjoying, given the sickness that he could feel dredging up within him each time that the family had been teleported to another area. Even with that being the case though, he couldn't allow for himself to fall behind the others. After all, they had been taking care of these beast-like foes left and right whilst also maintaining the safety of the civilians who had lost themselves. It was this kind of selfless behavior that Thaddeus had attempted to emulate and even now, it was clear to him that he wasn't going to be enough. Not yet. If nothing else, he had come to know exactly how far he was going to have to push himself to reach the heights that the others had now set for him.
[F2R1]
Much like before, the Wilhelm family had begun making their way on over towards the light in the distance that had been cast by a campfire along the dry shore. Upon drawing closer to the flames though, the similar feeling of an oncoming headache had begun to wash over the Spring Deacon, as well as that of the civilians and the others of the Wilhelm family. All that it had taken was for the Spring Deacon to blink for a moment before they had found themselves yet again in another location. This time however, they had found themselves standing in the middle of a massive desert. Corpses had littered the ground surrounding them and the very air itself had begun to sting the Spring Deacon as the dry heat of the desert would wash over the group. Not wanting to dissuade the others from the group but needing to get his thoughts out, the Spring Deacon had begun to speak beneath his breath. "Ugh... This is the absolute worst."
Just as the family had begun to continue on their way, a swarm of veritable insects had burst forth from the sands below. Yet another fight would ensue but before the Spring Deacon would have the chance to join the others in on things, the situation had found itself resolved. Admittedly this had led to the Spring Deacon feeling a bit useless here... This was a location that he had brought the others along to and yet it was also the least work that he had quite possibly ever contributed. A wave of embarrassment had begun to wash over the Spring Deacon as he had thought about this but he wasn't going to allow for it to bog him down to much. Not out here anyways. Perhaps once he had managed to get back to his station in Nairn than he would allow for himself to feel these emotions. Now was the time for calculated action.
[F2R2]
With the swarm of scarabs having been dealt with, Thaddeus would be forced to watch as Dante would berate Klara for her reckless actions. While Thaddeus couldn't say that he didn't have similar thoughts, given how he had spent plenty of time having watched as Klara had charged ahead and almost gotten herself killed, even the Spring Deacon had begun to feel as though this was something that could have waited until they were away from the prying eyes of these civilians. It had felt inappropriate to scold her in front of the people that they were working to save but perhaps that was just his own thoughts on things as someone that had been from the Church. Unfortunately he hadn't grown up in the same way that many of the other Wilhelms had, and as such, his views had been quite different.
Wanting to say something to trio about the subject at hand, Thaddeus had begun to try and interject. Just as he had found himself talking on the matter though, he had begun to feel as though this was something that would be better saved for later on. He would have become quite the hypocrite otherwise, given that he had chosen not to react to her actions for the time being because of the others that had been watching. Ultimately the Spring Deacon hadn't been able to get in a single word before the hive-matron of these scarabs would burst forth from the sands below, accompanied by a dozen other scarabs. This wasn't the time to dwell on the things that he had wanted to say. Thaddeus was going to need to focus and work to take these things down before they could harm the civilians.
Opting to try and protect the civilians first and foremost, Thaddeus would stomp his right foot upon the ground and would allow for his magic to seep into the sands below. Upon doing so, his foot would sink into the sands a bit but would allow for a closed carbon dome that had stood at about ten cubic meters both high and wide to burst forth from the very earth itself and to wrap itself around each of the civilians that the Spring Deacon could fit within it. While this barrier wasn't much compared to the magic of his cousins, it was better than allowing for the scarabs to pick off the civilians one by one. Of course now that the civilians safety had been procured, the Spring Deacon had decided to send off his carbon golems with a single command: Wipe out these damned scarabs. Having received this command, the three carbon golems had begun to rush off towards the insects and would swat them down with a hefty blow from each of their jagged arms.

F2, R2: Complete
"My guess is some kind of spatial magic is at play," Lustian said as he glanced around the new sandy terrain around them, his reply was simply to Klara's yell, and once he said it he continued his attention forward. Using his senses he was successfully able to designate targets around them all, something which he thought would come in handy with allowing them to move around unhindered, however, considering that regular civilians kept getting lost in this dungeon and even as they were more could possibly do so, he thought about lessening the potential danger to them. To accomplish such they would simply have to fight the creatures instead of avoiding them all. Those were the simple thoughts that danced in his mind as he reared his hand back and let lose his spell.
Lustian then watched as his cousins, one by one, all seemed to spring into action. He had let them decide whether or not they wanted to fight head-on or not, and as things stood they decided to fight head-on, or at the very least Klara did, rushing in headfirst into battle as brash as always. Lustian began to wonder where the young girl's berserker-like nature came from and just why she was so insisted on tackling enemies in such a manner. It seemed to him that the young girl was working more of her primal instincts rather than her mine. One could be strong, and certainly useful but it wasn't until one learned to use both in harmony that they truly became better when it came to life-threatening situations.
Lustian watched as Dante sprung into action after, quickly taking care of a couple of the creatures, alongside Klara, himself, and Thaddeus they made quick work of the enemies in front of him. Lustian peered out at the hot sand in front of them, moving forward with the family and civilians behind as they all moved at a steady pace, that was until they had to come to a halt. "13 more enemies ahead and ones, rather large." Lustian said, his mana senses tingling from the creatures that burrowed beneath the sand. He reared his hand back once more as he did before, as he aimed.
Drawing his hand back to his chin as he had done before as if he was pulling back an arrow on an invisible bow, Lustian focused on letting the image of an arrow flow into his mind as he let his mana flow freely from his fingers, its direction and course already established as he took in the remaining 7 mana signatures of the creatures in front of him. The magical arrow formed in his hand, and as it did he licked his lip. He let the first arrow go with an opening of his hands, then quickly and without a moment of pause, he reached his hand back forward and repeated the arrow drawing motion. Two arrows for the price of one thanks to his control over his mana were sent flying in two directions, one on the left and one on the right. They arched through the air with a whistle and before they reached 1 meter out in front of the creatures, Lustian balled his fist twice and spoke the words "Star Shower," the arrow-like the one earlier had burst into arrays of star-like nets.
Shinning like a night sky they crashed into the remaining 7 creatures, 3 on one side, and 3 on another, as the last narrowly escaped his shot by hiding behind its fallen kin. Lustian made a "tch" spitting practically spitting air through his teeth. He reared back taking his spear love tap in hand and launched it outward with a mighty throw. The arrow hit its mark with ease as the sand bug tried to burrow back underneath the ground. The spear shot through the bug with ease, and as it did, Lustian moved forward grabbing his spear out of the body with ease before flicking it to the side to rid the weapon of the creature's guts.
He turned back to see that everyone was in good shape, he nodded to Thaddeus who to a shield in order to protect the packing civilians which thankfully had the plus side of calming them and putting them at ease letting them know that regardless of what happened they'd be safe.
F3, R1: 440
As they continued moving the headache and dizziness once again came rushing back, Lustian held his head with a sigh and used his spear to keep his body upright. His mind was not fond of the continuous headache he was receiving every time they moved from one area to the next, and he wondered just what the hell this area would be, what hellish landscape would they end up next?
Opening his eyes, Lustian was met with surprise, as he looked around he saw they were in some large building, it seemed a bunch of other civilians had made their way into this building. To his shock, this was not a hellish landscape, but heaven... If one were an alcoholic. Now as he glanced around he saw that they were in a tavern. Full of people drinking, and Lustian found himself noticing that there were more than just several civilians in this area, were these people that wandered into the dungeon in times past they were unaware of, or were these simply creations of the dungeon itself? Regardless, Lustian knew that if these were to be their next foes, killing them was off the table.
"Welcome, travelers, have a drink!" A random patron stated many others let out cheers. Lustian moved toward the bar with the large sign that had the words "Luck's End: Where the Ale is free, but the bugs might eat ye" written across it. Some of the man-beast creatures they saw were also in the bar, playing a game with some of the patrons. This of course took Lustian back with a start, though as the man-beast seemed to be losing at the card game they were playing with the humans. He noticed their faces were as blushed as the humans clearly showing that they were drunk, but the way they were also becoming more and more irate the more the game went on, before Lustian could even put in his own order of ale, a fight broke out. Lustian yelled to his family members, "Protect the civilians but don't kill anyone... Or anything for that matter, just knock them out!" He had spoken the words simply because he didn't think that killing these creatures when they were capable of more than their animalistic nature and clearly had sentience on par with that of general humans. That said he had no idea where these man-beast creatures came from but he wasn't going to let people keep getting hurt.
Lustian reared back his fist quickly taking out two of the patrons with swift punches before looking around to see what else his family was up against.

Maria kept quiet as Dante tried to scold her for rushing into the beetles. She had thoughts about this but now was not the time for it. Instead, she lowered her head and stood silent despite the burning feeling in her feet. The rest of her cousins would finish off the rest of the enemies and it was time to move on.
[F3R1 414] Without a clue to follow, Lustian picked a direction and started moving forward. The people were safe thanks to the work of Thaddeus and Dante was probably proud about being able to be the hero. It was not fair. Just because he had better magic then her and could do more, that meant it was okay for him to do stuff. However when she did stuff, it was a problem. Her thoughts would be briefly interrupted by another warp but the girl managed to hold herself together, probably because she had nothing else to throw up.
They landed in a bar of all places. No yucky swamp. No blistering sand. There was just people and dangerous beast men hanging out and drinking. It was at this point that Lustian noticed a problem. Looking up, there were people and beast men causing problems due to a bad game or something stupid. The girl did not care. It was a perfect excuse to fight or was it. The girl did not move. She stood still, wondering what it was that was expected of her. Her cousin wrong. She knew he was wrong. The girl had the spells, the training, the strength to protect herself. Even if she did get hurt. She had her own healing magic to help herself out. However, that was not good enough. It was not good enough for her cousin nor was it good enough for Golden Dawn. That was the problem. He was in the best magic knight squad so he had to be right... right?
But what could she do at time like this. What could her and her weak magic do except get her into the fray. Thaddeus said something like this too, but it was different. This time, she did not just rush into an unknown thing. Lustian said the dangers. He even attacked first. She went out with information. Yet that was not good enough. Was she too weak to be useful? Was that why Dante pressured her? Was that why Thaddeus wanted her to stand back? Ridiculous! She was strong. She was born strong. She trained hard to be Strong. She was blessed with a golden grimoire. She could do it. So why couldn't she move.
She watched as Lustian took out two of the three problem makers in the room. There was one more left. Yet her hands were too heavy. Her legs were stiff. Her tongue was fat. Maybe... she was just too weak.

After he finished chastising Klara, Dante noted the shorter girl's reaction of merely lowering her head and not responding back to any of his points. Perhaps it would have been better to wait until after they had finished with the dungeon and not embarrass her in front of so many people but in that same vein, it wouldn't have reflected well to allow her to continue with her present actions. Dante also charged forward into battle, so it could be a bit hypocritical to admonish her for that, but there was a difference between them. He had more experience in combat and had other spell options like his golems or being able to knock back any opponents available for him to use if he ran the risk of being overrun. From what he had seen so far, it didn't seem as if Klara had any other specialization aside from physical reinforcement to use. "This is why I leave this sort of stuff to Lustian. I'm clearly not cut out for this pep talk stuff." he sighed before the sound of shifting sand drew his attention t a slew of new enemies arriving.
The queen bug had barely even put up a fight against the lava user; falling to a simple kick before Dante sped off and dealt with another 2 of what he presumed to be her children. Thaddeus meanwhile, prioritized the safety of the civilians with a dome of carbon matter while sending his golems to smash through 3 of the bugs, leaving 7 for Lustian and Klara to defeat. "Everything in here doesn't appear to be all that strong over all though I should probably save that judgement until we meet whoever set up this dungeon and kidnapped these citizens in the first place." Dante mused while watching Lustian wipe out the remaining 7 pests, missing one though he quickly dispatched it with a toss of his spear. With how extensive the biomes that had visited had been as well as the creatures that they had fought, he'd suspect that the boss of this dungeon would end up being an exceptionally powerful opponent; one that he was interested in testing himself against. "After this, I think I should look into getting some spells that can hit multiple opponents. It would have saved me on a ton of mana as well as making things go a lot faster for us."
With the battle in the desert now over and nothing new popping up on his borrowed scanner, Dante dismissed his golem and other spells as he felt his mana recovering. While he could have upkept it, Dante had no idea how much longer they would be in this dungeon or what other kind of opponents that they could be facing so it would be better to conserve his strength and take any by surprise later on. And it was a good thing that he decided to do this as the next shift in dimensions popped the group into a building, apparently filled with the remaining missing civilians. "Their families are worried sick about them and they're all sitting here drinking in a tavern?" the dwarf muttered in disbelief as he observed his surroundings; mentally blocking out the cheers and rowdy atmosphere. The rest of the civilians that they had saved didn't care, eagerly moving forward to start drinking some of the ale available and no doubt try to block out the trauma of seeing some of their friends being killed right before their eyes as well as coming close to losing their own lives.
Reading the sign above the bar, Dante began to wonder if perhaps the maker of this dungeon had made it as some sort of test of courage and ability rather than anything malicious. While he wasn't much of a social drinker, the occasional cups of wine not withstanding, even he was aware that outside of a party setting, one just didn't offer free booze for those to enjoy at their leisure. "Especially not to a bunch of commoners though I think setting up a test involving man-eating bugs and strange beast warriors is a bit much for some free booze," he thought as he watched the men swinging the mugs around while singing some song horribly offkey. He noted that there didn't seem to be any sort of bartender behind the bar or any indication that there had been someone there so he wondered who exactly was supplying everyone with the free alcohol as well as doing the refilling when the tap no doubt ran empty. "It has to have at least emptied a few times given how long everyone has been in here. Is it possible that they met whoever set up this place?"
Sparing a glance, Dante noted that Klara had fallen usually silent; something that he didn't think was possible for the shorter dwarf. She had been so full of energy and eager when they had first entered this cabin but now it seemed that she was most likely taking his words to heart. He considered speaking to her again, if only to clarify his earlier part and make sure that she understood that he wasn't trying to personally attack her but he didn't get the chance to do so as some of the man-beasts in the corner didn't seem to take kindly to loosing a card game against the humans. "Got it!" Dante shouted back toward Lustian before tilting his head to dodge a bottle that had been thrown at him. Narrowing his eyes at the culprit, Dante jumped atop one of the tables and began making his way across the room, knocking out several of the drunkards before he lept and kick the one who had thrown the bottle at him, sending him crashing to the floor unconscious, joining the others that he had knocked out along the way into lala land. There were still a few more left fighting but Thaddeus and Klara should be able to easily take care of them and Dante didn't want to take the opportunity aware from his family member though Klara seemed to be frozen and unmoving. "What the hell is she doing."

With the combat having come to an end, Thaddeus would allow for his carbon dome to return back into the earth below. From what he could see, each of the civilians that he had been aiming to protect had seemed to have been relieved at the moment. This much was good to see, considering just how hectic this entire little journey had been. Honestly, who could ever have foreseen that the Wilhelm family was going to have found themselves in such a situation after having entered a simple cabin in the woods? The same could be said for everyone that had entered the abode but still... At least those damned headaches had seemed to stop for the time being.
..If only he had known just how wrong he had been about this very fact. As the ever expanding gathering of people had decided to continue on through the arid desert sands, that headache from before had begun to overtake the Spring Deacon once more. An immediate queasiness had begun to set in as the dungeon would forcibly interact with the group once again, rendering Thaddeus completely disinterested with the place all together. If this was the kind of thing that was going to happen anytime that he had happened to enter random cabins in the woods than it is quite possible that he was going to have to prevent himself from doing as much in the future. The feelings that were accompanied with having been here were simply not the kinds of things that Thaddeus was keen on experiencing often.
[F3R1]
As the headache would continue to grow, Thaddeus would be forced to close his eyes in pain. Upon reopening them, he would find himself standing in an all together separate environment once more. This one though had been far different than the last two that he had found himself teleported into. From what he could tell, the location in which he had currently been had been a... tavern? After the first two locations, the Spring Deacon had not been expecting for them to arrive within such a location. Not that he had really minded all that much. A stiff drink could go a long ways for the civilians that he had been traversing throughout the area with. Especially after having been trapped within the swamp and the desert for who knows how long. "I.. think that it might be best if we get a drink, yeah?" Well unfortunately that was going to be off of the table. Given the way that some of these tavern patrons had been acting, after having filled themselves to the brim with alcohol, it wasn't really all that much of a surprise to the Spring Deacon. This was what tended to happen when one couldn't really hold their drink.
Once the bar patrons had managed to get stirred up past a certain point and the man-beasts had begun to draw their weapons, it would become quite clear that the group was going to need to intervene here. Even without needing to say anything, the Spring Deacon would begin to get involved. With a simple mental command, his carbon golems that had been taking up far too much space in this tavern would begin to kneel down and crowd themselves around the civilians that had been brought along with them. He wasn't about to tear through the wood floors of the tavern to throw up another barrier when he could just make use of his golems having been brought along for everything. Thaddeus would than step forward and bring down two of the rowdy bar patrons on his own with a few quick jabs to the face of the remaining bar patrons. Thankfully this had been just about everyone that was acting up at the moment. Of course things could have been over sooner if Klara had gotten involved but he couldn't quite blame her for not doing so. Not after the way that she had just been scolded. This, unfortunately, was likely something that the girl hadn't been all that used to. Seeing the way that she had been withdrawing in on herself now... It would remind the Spring Deacon of the first encounter between the two. Hopefully she wouldn't revert back to the ways that she had been in the past. One way or another, Thaddeus was going to have to help her in his own ways as well.
Figuring that he might as well try and address the issue now, whilst the group had been in a relatively tame location, Thaddeus would begin to make his way on over towards Klara. As he had done so though, his foot would get stuck upon the leg of one of the many individuals that the group had just taken out. Gravity would instantly take over on its own and the Spring Deacon couldn't help but allow for it to do so. He had tried to catch himself by reaching out for something to balance himself on but all that he would really do is grab ahold of the edge of the table and pull it a few inches in his direction. This much hadn't really been that big of an issue but the screeching sound that would accompany the tables movement would likely be. Especially considering the fact that it had somehow caused a squid faced man to jump in surprise and spill a red wine from out of his goblet and upon his attire.
[F3R2]
Now that the rowdy patrons had been taken care of and things were beginning to draw back down to what Thaddeus had believed to be peaceful, some squid faced individual had begun to rise from his seat. The squid-like man's face tentacles had begun to writhe horribly as he had begun to try and dab off some kind of liquid that had fallen upon his clothing. "You... How dare you?!" Gesturing towards the group as a whole, but more pointedly at Thaddeus, the man would begin to shriek whilst gesturing towards his fine silk attire. "You and your band of nitwits have caused me to spill my drink upon my refined silk attire and I shan't stand for it!" This squid-like man would than begin to raise his hands high into the sky. Upon doing so, a strange blue miasma would begin to emit from the mans body and encompass the tavern. With so many individuals having inhaled this occultic miasma, it was no surprise that all manner of folk had begun to find themselves growing mad with frenzy. It was truly as if their brains were thrown into a haze that would cause them to only see red. If the fact that the group had been practically drugged hadn't been an indicator of the fact that this man had been an issue, the fact that the group of individuals was preparing to smack down on the Wilhelm family must have been.
"By the Gnome, Klara, I understand that you might be upset at the moment. Even with that being the case though, we have a duty to protect these innocent civilians from any harm that might befall them! If need be, vent your frustrations here and get those pesky feelings out while we are keeping these people safe!" Once he had said his peace, Thaddeus would throw his hands up in frustration. He had wanted to have his golems bring down the group of highly intoxicated and now quite possibly drugged individuals. There just wasn't much that he could really have them do in this tiny space though. That being the case, he was going to have to rely on his family to wrap things up. "I am seriously trusting you here... There isn't much else that we can do at the moment." It is in this moment that one of the many rowdy patrons would grab a chair and swing it directly at the back of the Spring Deacons head. If Thaddeus hadn't been lucky enough to have maintained his mana shields this entire time, it was quite likely that this might have hurt quite a bit.

Lustian was a bit taken back by the deacon of their group, who would've thought a holy man would've wanted to indulge in a drink so casually. Though considering the man was still a Wilhelm and a dwarf at that, Lustian thought that such things were fitting, and as such he refrained from judgment, especially considering what they had just been through, from having to protect civilians, fight their way through man-beast, not to mention those huge ass bugs which were just absolutely disgusting, all the while dealing with the panicking civilians. Thankfully, Lustian had his family to help, and they were more than reliable. Throughout the whole ordeal, they had been rather proficient. Lustian felt that at this point perhaps he could relax, the urge to take a nice drink of ale, especially to try one that was made and created within a dungeon no less that featured all types of creatures.
That's when the oversight Lustian felt he made became all the more prevalent, like earlier these man-beasts dwelling within the dungeon were just in here drinking as if they were a part of everyday society. He wondered if these were actual creatures that dwelled within their world that either had gotten lost in the dungeon, came to it for this specific purpose, and perhaps had a symbiotic relationship with the dungeon itself. Or if they had just been constructs created by the dungeon altogether. There were too many variables, and as he thought about it the less inclined he was to take a drink. This wasn't because he didn't want one, no he very much still wanted a drink. The fact, of the matter, was that it was all his mind could think about at the moment. How refreshing it would be, how potentially delicious it would be, but the thing that most stopped him was his thoughts on just how potent the drink could end up being.
Think drink of which was most likely, too strong for them all considering they had catered to the man-beast that dwelled within the dungeon's tavern. As Lustian moved throughout the tavern he couldn't help but admire the design of it, the wooden walls, the wooden beams, even the mugs of ale seemed to be all in pristine condition, minus a few scuff marks here and there and broken table or chair that had been moved into the corner. Though what really caught his eye was the massive amount of intoxication that wafted off everyone, the scent was palpable. The hiccups, swaying, and tale signs of a person that had too much were present all around. That's when Lustian found himself responding to Dante's words, "Yes if you ask me it's rather ridiculous, but considering this is a dungeon and that ale looks extremely potent I think we should hold off on drinking anything. Considering half the patrons in this tavern are three times our size and mixed with animals, well... I think it safe to say that the drinks are rather strong." Lustian said as his eyes lingered over toward the bar with a sense of longing...
Then the fighting broke out, and Lustian found himself taking out a few people, then Dante and even Thaddeus got involved in the fight. However, Kara didn't which took Lustian by surprise as he looked back to see the young girl simply standing around with a look of conflict. Lustian thought something was wrong at first and thus with a brisk pace he quickly made his way back over toward his cousin, hoping that she was okay. He made sure to keep his witts about him, as he watched Dante and Thaddeus wrap up their last few opponents having been the rowdy drunk patrons. In an environment like this with drinks as strong as they were it was only a matter of time before inhibitions left and aggression to the stage. He was sure this wouldn't be the last time as things were.
Though having seen Thaddeus take out two of their opponents with well-placed jabs brought a smile to his face. His cousin was clearly more formidable than he gave the priest credit for. Through the dungeon, his family had shown their strength and reliability at every turn. Thaddeus's use of golems and defensive magic kept the civilians safe and allowed his bulky creations to provide adequate defense and offense. He couldn't help but think that his cousin would've made a rather skilled magic knight. Klara, though she was a bit brash had the skills to back it up, and though nothing in the dungeon thus far seemed to be much of a large challenge, he was worried that such behavior could get her hurt in the future if she bit off more than she could chew. That's when the thought struck him of just what could be going on with her. The earlier criticism had clearly shaken his young cousin.
Perhaps she decided not to fight simply because she was taking the words spoken to her too close to her chest, too literal, too out of proportion, but then again Dante wasn't the best at public speaking. That's when Thaddeus moved over to speak to her, he noticed his cousin had tripped but managed to catch himself. Lustian kept his spear out as he wasn't sure if all the patrons had finally calmed down. However, he noticed a squid-faced man jumped in surprise and spilled what looked to be wine on his luxurious clothing. Of which, Lustian wondered where he had gotten such from.
However, Lustian then turned to the conversation that Thaddeus was having with Klara. However, Lustian found his attention quickly turned back to the squid-man as he was releasing some kind of mist, screaming and flailing about in dramatic fashion. This mist seemed to agitate the patrons more, even more so than the alcohol they had drunk earlier. He made some comments about not standing for such, and how dare you'se and such. Lustian couldn't really give two shits about what the guy had to say, but the effect he was having on those around them, was what concerned him. In fact, he found that all of this situation was starting to really grate on his nerves. Here he was in a dungeon with probably some of the best and strongest ale he would ever find, and instead of being able to drink it, he had to deal with some asshat of a guy making a stink about his outfit and causing the patrons to attack them.
Lustian sighed before speaking the words, "I've got it," he leaped into action spinning his spear. Turning it to the blunt side, Lustian delivered a swift strike to the jaw of one of the man-beast similar to the ones he had taken down at the beginning of the dungeon, the same one who had struck Thaddeus. Though this time instead of driving his spear through them, he instead decided to knock them out, after all, they were simply peaceful before that guy spread his mist about. It was safe to say that they were being controlled, thus Lustian held back not wanting to truly hurt them. As the large man beast went down with a thud, the others didn't seem the least bit concerned simply launching themselves him. He brought his spear back around this time sweeping out the butt of it to the right, knocking another in the jaw.
Then he dropped low, sweeping the spear out, and tripped up two more of the rowdy patrons causing them to tumble down and knock their heads against the hardwood floor with a thud. Thankfully, they weren't bleeding and the most they'd seem the have would be a concussion. That was four down, four more to go, Lustian moved forward stabbing the butt of the spear into one patron's stomach, it landed with a thud. He then grabbed the patron's arm quickly turning him around to face toward the squid man. The rowdy patron doubled over the hit was strong enough that it caused a reaction. The pain in his stomach caused the sloshing liquid to expel its contents. Bile flew across the bar like a missile, landing directly on the squid man's face.
The squid man doubled over in disgust, gaging and desperately wiping at his face. The resulting bile lingering on the ground caused another drunk patron to slip, and as he tried to get up Lustian simply jabbed his forehead with the butt of his spear, causing his skull to smack against the hardwood floor hard enough to knock him out without dealing any serious damage.
As the squid man continued to gag, and scream obscenities, Lustian grabbed another patron's unsteady arm, tossing him to another one on the opposite side of him, before breaking his staff around and smacking them both on the side of the side with enough force to cause them to topple over and slam into the nearby table that shattered under their weight. Where they remained unmoving but breathing. He then reached his hands back, bringing his fingers together as if he was shooting an arrow muttering the words "Cosmic Clay Magic: Philia's Strike" mana swelled between his fingertips, stretching out into an intricate arrow. He let it fly loose propelled with his magic. The arrow struck true, hitting the squid man in his shoulder. Thanks to his homing with his sensory skills the arrow avoided any vital areas, simply going through the shoulder, piercing through the other side, a through and through meant to cause excruciating pain rather than damage. The squid man flailed and doubled over in pain, forming from the mouth and then passing out due to such pain. Granted, Lustian was sure such a small wound wouldn't cause the squad man to pass out but even so he made his way over, cutting off a piece of the squid man's sleeve using the sharp edge of his spear, before wrapping it tightly around the wound he had created as he willed the arrow out of existence.
Then no sooner did Lustian finish wrapping the squid face guy's wound did another person rise from his seat. He moved from out of his seat exerting a such force that the seat flew back, crashing into another patron behind him, causing him to stir and rise himself. After the pain in his back from getting smacked with a chair would subside anyway. The man that rose was strange in appearance, muscular but riddled with as much fur as he was with muscle. The man looked like some type of half-man, half-bear type guy, the man looked almost feral in a sense. Fur covered his shoulders and arms in thick tufts almost like a natural armor. Lustian figured it gave him some type of resistance to physical attacks, he had shaggy brown hair, olive skin, and a beard that had been braided to reach down toward his chest. Lustian was rather curious where a guy like this had come from. The man then jumped atop the fine wooden table, he took a deep breath and released a loud howl that was strong enough to cause Lustian to cover his ears. The sound reverberated throughout the wooden tavern. Many people around the bear man had covered their ears as the words "TAVERN BRAWL!!!" could be made out.
Lustian thought nothing of it save for he had another opponent to vent a bit of frustration on for not getting to drink any of the delicious ale. That's when nearly all the remaining patrons rose from their chairs, screaming nearly the same thing, before attacking each other. All hell had broken loose because this ass hat felt the need to be rowdy. Lustian was at his witts in, he clenched his fist, the spear tucked within his hands was gripped so hard that his fingers turned white. He sighed, before putting the lance on the holster on his back where it belonged. "Got dammit! I just want to get this shit over with and have a drink!" He screamed as the bear man seemed to laugh at his response before balling his fist up. Lustian knew his words betrayed his earlier warning but he wanted to taste it, wanted to finish getting these people back to safety so that he could come back and grab a drink from the barkeep who mysteriously had made their exit, or hidden as he could no longer sense their presence. The bear man began to attack the civilians, punching them to and from, knocking a few out as he was making his way toward what seemed to be Lustian. Perhaps he thought of him as a worthy opponent.
However, Lustian knew it would be that man's undoing, simply for the fact that he could sense his mana, he could tell how strong this person was and all he simply seemed to have was minute mana and appeared to be more physically inclined than all within the dungeon. Lustian knew that in a hand-to-hand fight without his spear he would probably lose. However, the bear man's hide seemed thick, and Lustian figured he probably had some type of resistance to physical weapons, and as such, the only option was using his light spear, but that was too dangerous of a weapon, he wasn't trying to kill the overly excited guy. If anything he was sure doing such would be frowned upon, not to mention what kind of trouble it would bring if he actually was to come back to this dungeon in the future and drink if at all possible.
As the bear man was rushing over toward him, patrons on either side of the man were struggling and fighting with one another, Lustian sighed, simply channeling his mana into his left hand forming it into an orb that resembles a cold planet. He pushed it outward from his hands, letting the ball unravel into tendrils of mana that almost looked like wet clay before it finally molded itself into what appeared to be an ornate lance. The lance has a frost blue shaft, with the blade being pure white, on it orange dwarven runes for the world 'cold' and 'pierce' can be seen decorating the sides in a spiral. From the white tip, a frosty cosmic chill bellows out as he spun the lance around in a circle. The spear is 8 ft in length and would be more than enough to take down the bear man, but he focused on making it bigger, as big as 4 meters. Larger than the bear man himself. Lustian shot the spear forward, willing it to move with his mana, it shot out like a missile.
Crashing into the Bearman hitting him with a physical attack with magical backing. A small spot of blood could be seen through the tuffs of fur but thanks to his sensory he could tell that in comparison to the man's hide the wound didn't go too deep, but the force of the hit was enough to knock the guy back as well as blind him. With a focus and movement of his fingers to control his spell, Lustian removed his spear from the bear man's chest that had only gone two inches deep, he stared as the small wound betrayed the damage his spear had done as indicated by the wound. Speaking the words "Pursue," the spear broke apart into tendrils that began to form behind the Bearman. The combined stimuli of pain and confusion caused the bear mans eyes to roll to the back of his head as he fell to the ground. The spear's tendrils continued to twist and combine above the Bearman becoming a drill that shoot forth swiping across, drawing in many of the patrons that were fighting. A total of 6 were struck by the spell and the resulting force tossed them about, bruised them, and knocked them out, leaving them with a frost of ice over any cuts they had to keep bleeding from being too severe. Much like the ice one would see coating the Bearman's chest as he breathed deeply, soundly asleep. No doubt from being taken out and the copious amounts of alcohol in his system.
However, the Bearman seemed to sleep talk, something Lustian found himself oddly listening to as he drew his hands back as if forming an arrow. He spoke the words, "Cosmic Clay Magic: Philia's Strike - Star Shower" channeling his mana into the groove of his right index and middle finger, Lustian pressed his index and middle finger together and bent his thumb down as if pulling back an arrow.
He then expands all of his fingers before clasping his index middle finger and thumb back together as he had before to semi-activate his spell. From his fingers, the cosmic mana stemmed outward flowing and twisting itself into the shape of a sharpened arrow before it hardens between his fingers, the shaft of this arrow was yellow, while the arrowhead and feathers of the arrow look like they are made from dazzling night stars.
The size was that of standard arrows only being about 75 cm long. Looking forward to the remaining six patrons that were still fighting with one another. He figured this spell would put an end to everything. Lustian designated a target, releasing his grip on the arrow, the arrow was embedded with homing sensory magic and as such, it followed the target outside of the arrow's normal, initial movement as the drunken rowdy patron swayed.
Then before it could reach to patron balling his fist twice it caused the spell to fully activate, causing the arrow to splinter and break apart into a cluster of 2inch miniature stars, that were connected by thin white lines of solar energy, effectively making what appears to be a cone-shaped 6 meter net of stars. It smashed into the rowdy patrons with such force that it caused them to fly back, a blinding light erupted, and after was all said and done all that was left was patrons covered in small bits of frost and bruises, with a few cuts that had been frozen shut though none with any serious or life-threatening injuries. With it all said and done, Lustian bought his finger to his lips in the case of any of his cousins about to speak as the sleep-talking mumbling of the Bearman was still taking place. Listening to it Lustian found that a long time ago, Sveinbjorn was just a regular Villtsung, a word of which he felt he heard before but couldn't remember where. He thought it had something to do with people in the forsaken region. However, it could be inferred that these were some type of beast people. Apparently, this man had a raiding party at his disposal, his mumbling faded in and out of tone, but what he could make out was that the guy had done some fighting, raiding, and pillaging for the betterment of his people.
Then from the sleep-induced mumbling, he heard that the group had apparently made their way to an area where the people there worshiped a bear god. Apparently, after getting there he and his raiding party killed all those they came across. Lustian found himself moving closer to the body to hear the man better, the story was interesting but if he could find details about it, if he could match it up with actual life stories, it meant that this dungeon was just an area that all of this man-beast was either drawn too, knew about and simply populated instead of having been simply spawned here unless both was the case. Either way, he knew he'd have to give a report to the kingdom. If this was just a bar in a dungeon that could be inhabited by anyone after moving through the bog and sand dunes perhaps this clover kingdom could create an escort party to save those who accidentally entered the dungeon in the future. Or even to use it as a form of tourism for those who wanted to simply go to the bar to try their impressively strong ale.
That's when Lustian heard that apparently this guy and his raiding party had killed everyone, taking the others that managed to live as slaves, and then apparently got attacked by some type of large bear. Though before the bear could kill him, he managed to kill it instead with his ax. However, since such happened his body had gained "accursed bear features". It was safe to say the Bearman carried some type of curse, and thankfully Lustian hadn't killed him because he wasn't sure if the curse could potentially be transferred to him if he was to have killed the man himself. Though as Lustian looked down at the Bearman his wounds were already healing, his muscles seemed to grow in strength and size, perhaps he got stronger after taking more attacks. Though as the man began to growl slightly in his sleep, Lustian was sure that his curse probably made him more aggressive.
With all the information gotten, Lustian moved over toward the bar, seeing a freshly poured mug of ale. He was going to reach for it when from behind the bar an old woman stepped from behind the bar. She seemed stern, stubborn, and haggard. "This has gone on long enough. The bar has been closed for the rest of today to make repairs. Now, make like a devil and get the hell out." She said with a warming smile that betrayed her smile, with a wave of her hand Lustian felt the same feeling come over him as earlier when they were being transported before he could yell out "wait!" he blinked and found himself laying in the grasslands north of Hage along with all of the civilians, his family members, and with the cabin in the woods gone.
"What the hell!? I never got to taste that ale, god I hope that place comes back, so I can enjoy my time there in peace next time." Lustian said, before looking around and clearing his throat as the citizens seemed to be coming too. "Uh... I mean, let's get these people home and fill out a report, Dante," Lustian said as he turned to look at his cousins. He walked forward, making his way toward the distance. It had been a long day but thankfully it was now over, and he could really use a drink.

The lance has a frost blue shaft, with the blade being pure white, on it orange dwarven runes for the world 'cold' and 'pierce' can be seen decorating the sides in a spiral. From the white tip, a frosty cosmic chill bellows out. The spear is 8 ft (2.4 Meters) in length but can be made to be as big as 6 meters. Allowing for physical attacks with magical backing.
