With how much time Thaddeus had been spending within the Forsaken Region as of late, he honestly should have requested that he be placed within the quaint little town of Hage as opposed to the town of Nairn. The Deacon hadn't minded the fact that he had established himself in Nairn but it was beginning to feel as though he was hardly ever there. More than anything else, he had been trying to spread the word of the Church of Clover to the troubled people of the Forsaken Region. It is actually thanks to this little mission of his that Thaddeus had currently been within the trading town of Sosshi. 'This place.. is assuredly a troubled one. It's almost as though there is some kind of curse on this town, I swear. Perhaps it just needs a bit of guidance from the Church of Clover to come out on top in the future.'
Given that he honestly hadn't been quite sure how to bring the Church of Clover into this trading town, Thaddeus would come to decide to simply help out in the name of the Church and would hope that it all kind of worked out from there. He had actually been meandering about throughout the marketplace as he had attempted to ascertain the best way to assist those within this town. He could always attempt to gather food and clothing for those that had found themselves in dire need or on the streets. He could also attempt to spread the word simply by speaking on the benefits that the church could offer. The options had been seemingly endless. Thankfully he didn't have to think too hard on the matter as a voice had begun to overtake his senses whilst he had been walking past that of a tomato stand.
Taking a moment to stop and see what it was that the stall keeper had been saying, Thaddeus would come to learn that this individual had been more than just some simple clerk. From the sounds of it, the individual whom he had been speaking with had actually been the owner of a slowly growing tomato empire! This older individual had stopped Thaddeus, having taken note of his being a member of the Church of Clover, to see if they could perhaps offer their aid in protecting them during their transporting of goods from the garden in which their tomatoes had grown back to this stall. Seeing no real reason to decline the individual, Thaddeus would come to agree with the request that had been given to him.
Only a couple of hours would pass as Thaddeus had found himself at the majestic garden that this salesman had been growing such delicious looking tomatoes. From the looks of it, there had been all kinds of different goods that the salesman had been hoping to transport! Naturally each of these goods had been tomatoes, given that this individual had sold specifically tomatoes, but Thaddeus never could have guessed just how many different types of tomatoes there actually were. There were cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, better boys, early girls, celebrity tomatoes, black krims, gardener's delight, brandywine, moneymaker tomatoes, and even something known as the super sweet 100! The fact that there had been so many different types of tomatoes had honestly kind of boggled the Deacons mind. 'At least there are going to be quite a bit of conversational bits for our way back to Sosshi.'
Once everything had been wrapped up at the garden, the deacon and the elderly salesperson would begin to head on back towards Sosshi. They had already successfully managed to store each of the goods that were going to be needed for this endeavor and as such, the duo had seen no real reason to stall any longer. Perhaps this trip back was going to go as swimmingly as everything had gone on the way there? One could truly only hope.
As much as the young deacon and the elderly salesperson had been hoping for things to go well with their trip back, it was unsurprising when things hadn't exactly turned out that way. After all, that was precisely the reason behind why the salesperson had requested Thaddeus' assistance in the first place. It was whilst the two had been discussing matters of trade, tomatoes, and the Church of Clover, when a group of armed individuals would begin to find their way along the direct path that the duo had needed to take in order to get back to Sosshi. From what Thaddeus could tell, the four individuals that had stood in his way had been armed with pikes and swords. While there had been some reason to possibly suspect that this group had just been passing by whilst on their guard, Thaddeus' suspicions that the group had been less than polite would come up within no time at all.
Rather than simply attempt to pass by the cart full of crated goods without interacting with the duo, these four individuals had instead chosen to threaten the inhabitants of the cart. These four had only seen nothing more than a simple member of the cloth and a frail old merchant. They had truly thought that they had met the perfect marks. Oh how wrong they had been about that fact.
Given that he had not only just had his conversation about the Church of Clover rudely interrupted, but the fact that Thaddeus had also now known that these four had been bandits and not just some passerby's, the young Deacon would begin to launch himself into action. "I really wish that it didn't have to come to this.." Paying the young Deacons words no mind, the four bandits would attempt to rush towards the cart to impale its inhabitants. If the duo hadn't intended on getting out of their own volition, than the bandits had no intent on keeping them alive. It was due to the fact that the bandits had begun to rush towards his client that Thaddeus had chosen to launch himself into combat.
Rather than simply stay sitting upon the cart, the young Deacon would throw himself from the seat of the cart and a few feet away from the cart itself. He would than begin to channel his mana throughout his body and dual cast two spells that he had hoped would ensure that things here would come to a rather peaceful end. Whilst facing the cart, Thaddeus would stomp his right foot down upon the ground and would allow for his magic to take over. Upon doing so, a ten meter carbon dome would rapidly rise from the ground and entirely encase the wooden cart and its inhabitant within its domain. Thaddeus would than turn towards the encroaching bandits and would raise his right hand in a rather dramatic fashion and whilst shouting aloud a single word. "Oread!" Upon doing so, the carbon matter that had been imbedded within the ground from just ahead of him would begin to shift and shape itself into five 4 meter tall carbon golems! The sight itself must have been horribly terrifying to encounter for the four bandits, considering the fact that they had believed this young man to have been a meager and mild member of the cloth. Honestly, they should have expected that the Deacon would have access to some sort of magic. Everyone now a days more or less had some degree of magic. Even if it wasn't as powerful as Thaddeus'.
Having believed themselves to have come this far already, the quartet would attempt to fend off the golems however they could. The fact that there had been only four of them compared to the five golems had meant that they were going to have a much harder time than necessary. Of course that was rather pleasing for Thaddeus. Rather than stress himself out with what to do with these individuals, Thaddeus would simply command his golems to strike out against the weapon wielding individuals. That had been the case for four of the carbon golems anyways. The fifth would actually serve to pick up Thaddeus and place him upon its shoulders. "Although I have to be sure to play it safe so that the golems don't kill them, I'm sure that things will work out more or less. I just hope that the client is doing alright in there... They must be worried."
The battle that had just begun was likely going to be wrapped up within a rather short amount of time. Even with the golems having been attacked first by the bandits, the golems hadn't been destroyed as of yet. This would allow for him to take the opportunity to prepare for what would come next. After having taken a singular blow from a single bandit each, the four of Thaddeus' golems that had been told to slam the bandits with their carbon arms would take their turn. It was clear that the blow had dealt quite a bit of damage to the bandits but the same could be said about the bandits blow to the golems. Honestly, Thaddeus was going to need to get stronger soon if he had hoped to end these kinds of situations quicker.

The surrounding area around the dome shall be mostly left intact as only about two hundred pounds worth of carbon matter is used as the main ingredient behind the spell. The amount of damage required to fully destroy said dome(s) is Junior x2.
