Small fingers trembled as they pulled the uniform on. Shaky, unsteady breaths could be heard in the small employee’s area, seeming to echo in the small space. The owner of the shaking hands was absolutely and wholeheartedly wishing he were anywhere but there. However, he’d chosen this job, and there was no backing out now. He had a job to do, and Yul to earn. At the encouragement of his parents he’d begun taking on odd jobs outside of their shop until it took him here, to this small café. This same small café in which he’d have to be serving people and talking to people all day.

It took a solid 5 minutes after he’d pulled the clothing on to calm himself enough to step out of the room. There was another part time helper he’d be meeting today, and they’d be working together for the busy hours the cafe would be open. Fenix knew he was going to have a hard time of it, interacting with strangers all day. But, he had to get used to talking to people some day, right? He needed to know how for when he took over his mother’s clothing shop.

Striding into the main area, hands folded behind himself, he waited for the other part-timer. The owner would be opening as soon as both part-timers were there and ready, and so all he really needed to do was wait. The place was clean, having been wiped down before Fenix had gotten there, and he could even see a few people peeking in the shop’s window to see if it was open yet if not. They sure were eager for this new tea, huh? Fenix couldn’t understand the appeal himself, but the young ash mage didn’t voice that thought. After all, it was the owner of this café that sold the popular drink who would be paying him at the end of the day. Assuming he could get through the day.

Slender hands delicately smoothed out any wrinkles found on the uniform's wearer, eager to make their person presentable for the day's work. One last look over of the uniform, a careful swipe of white bangs, and the straightening of the collar meant Flick was finally ready to announce his preparedness for work to begin. He would have been ready sooner had he not stopped to help some passerby on his way to the establishment that hired his service, but he would never turn his cheek to those that need assistance. Regardless, he was here now.

Flick emerged from another room closer to the back entrance of the building, donning the uniform that he was expected to wear, and approached the business's main area with soft steps. Before him was his apparent coworker, a red-haired person wearing the same uniform as Flick wore himself—not that it wasn't expected. So the paint mage approached the redhead, standing at attention to the side of the other mage with a polite smile as the owner approached the two to confirm their jobs.
