EIVOR AURELIUS - JUNIOR 5th CLASS - BLACK BULLS
There were no clouds in the sky above, nothing but an endless blue heavenly sea. For an autumn day it was relatively warm, save for a gentle breeze that tussled the streets of the quaint little town of Hage. Hage was one of those town that he had been to with his biological parents, at that time, they went to visit Eivor’s uncle. Specifically, his father’s young brother, two kids, and of course, his wife. Eivor vaguely remembered tussling about with his cousin, wrestling over something stupid, something that he could not recall. Something that had permanently engraved in his skull was when he first set eyes on that demon skull. Even to this day, Eivor has never seen anything like it before, and the sense of awe and bewilderment still stuck with him to this very day. Even as the young Eivor’s travel came to an end, and the monstrous skull came closer and grew larger, the sense of bewilderment and amazement had not left him. It was like he was visiting Hage all over again and seeing the skull for the first time all over again, but he contained his excitement, and pushed through the lightly busy streets of Hage.
Due to some damage caused by the Shattering, many lower levels magic knights had been called to action to aid in the repair of important political buildings and location of significance. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the state of his fortune not yet determined, Eivor was one of the many magic knights that had been called to action. Admittedly, Eivor felt a series of conflicting emotions about this assignment. On one hand, he was completely willing to lend a helping hand in order to serve the Clover Kingdom, and in order to help those in need. With that being said, Eivor had not been in contact with his uncle and aunt for quite some time, at least, not sense he had been adopted into House Aurelius. From his knowledge, they hadn’t even attempted to reach out to Eivor either. And well, Eivor did not know whether that was a good thing or a bad thing, heck, he didn’t even know if they were alive. They could be dead, or they could have moved, or something.
Eivor kept his head down, hoping not to attract any attention to himself. Despite the fact that he wanted to know the state of his aunt and uncle, Eivor was admittedly fearful of what may happen to them. Fearful as to why they had not reached out to him, and fearful of what kind of answers he would find out if he sought them out. He had the cowl of his black bull robe pulled tightly over his face, but nonetheless the insignia was clearly seeable. From the information that was given to him by his Captain, Eivor was to meet a group of construction workers at the guard barracks. Apparently, one of the walls of the barracks had been completely blown through, and multiple beds had been shatters or damaged. When he arrived, there was a collection of magic knights, guards, and civilians lending a hand. About three or four of them carried some lumber closer to the busted wall, while a woman taller than most of the men with orange hair that cascaded down her shoulders like a wave. She wore simple attire, a ragged and dirty tunic, with grey pants and dark brown leather boots.
“Eivor Aurelius, junior 5th class of the magic knights, coming to lend an extra hand” Eivor asked as he approached the woman. The woman took a moment to look Eivor up and down, and from what he could assume, determined that he wasn’t much in the way of strength. “Where do you need me the most?”
“Hmmm, Brienne, nice to meet you kid.” She cleared her throat before speaking and gestured out to where a group of people were carrying bricks to the fallen wall. “You can start by lending a hand with the bricks, the more hands we have carrying bricks to the barracks, the faster we can move on, got it?”
Eivor nodded and jogged to a pile little way down away from the barracks. There a pile of stone bricks rested in a wagon that had been broken, a group of men and woman made their way to the drop off for the stone bricks and back to the wagon. Skipping in front of some stranger, Eivor waited in the line for his turn. There was about three people in front of him, and two people behind him. A total of five people were working on moving the stone bricks, six counting Eivor.
Eyes open and focused but slightly narrowed Amelia watched as small little bugs flew past her vision, her eyes following the small dots as they passed her by, taking a deep breath she felt relaxed but she knew her break was ending. Laying in the grass field with her arms propped up she rose at least half way up as a gentle breeze began to cause her hair to flow a bit in the wind as it blew towards the quaint little town of Hage located in the Forsaken Region. Already a fan of the Forsaken region rather more slower pace Amelia was never one to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the capital or pretty much the noble region in general, the common region being well..common?
Amelia stared out into the distance down at Hage but her mind took her back to the first time she ever set foot in the Forsaken Region itself, she had been scared half to death as she had been running by a group of mana beasts, two people called out to her.. "Run" but she could never remember there faces. She was sure they were important and thought maybe they were her parents, because why else did she fall into a river crashing down into a waterfall in a small lake in a forest in the Forsaken region? She couldn't then nor remember now where she used to live, or who she knew.. and that was where her new life started.
Hage was her beginning in a way, it was after discovering her raw physical prowess she started to hunt rabbits and small animals, kill them, eat a portion of the food to survive, sell the rest of the meat and all it's valuable body for profit to continue living, In her younger years she meet a man named Darius Black, he was twenty at the time, he would be twenty two now but he taught her how to hunt better, even gave her a room to sleep in and all she had to do was give him some of the food she caught to pay off her living expenses, for a long time it was great. However about a year back he went off on some mission with magic knights and never came back, she tried to keep the house afloat but he never came back and eventually she let it go. She wondered, where was Darius now? Did he survive the mission? Did he not want to return home? Did he..die? Amelia asked herself that question but she was too scared to really ever find out the answer to it, Darius was important to her and she would better think of him alive then dead.
In any case Amelia was aware that something called the shattering had happened in the town of Hage, from the looks of things the damage was enough to not ignore for sure and a team was assembled to fix the damage now that Hage was no longer in immediate danger, the team of course being a odd mixture of magic knights and some strong civilians, Amelia being the latter herself she supposed. She had originally came back to Hage to look at the old place and clean it up, nobody had bought it as it was a old property on bad soil, Amelia didn't care thought as it was once her home for a long while but she supposed since she was in the town until she felt like leaving again she ought to make some money while helping rebuild the town, it seemed like a very solid thing to do.
Having gotten to the construction area a bit earlier in the day, Amelia had started with the task of laying breaks and cementing them into the foundation of the new building, she had done it for maybe an hour or two before getting a bit sleepy from the task, important as it was she was a more active person in body and spirit so a task like that wasn't suited for her. Switching from that Amelia started helping carrying the bricks instead, she had been back and forth a couple of times and people seemed impress with her strength despite her smaller body.
Amelia in the front of the line now as five others were behind her, Amelia piling two bricks and then resting them on a balance between her hand and arm itself, holding a third one with her free hand as her fingers pinched the stone between her grasp as she walked back, Amelia wanted some music so she didn't hesitate to start humming a song she had stuck in her head. "Two hearts, one valve
Pumpin' the blood, we were the flood, We were the body and two lives, one life. Stickin' it out, lettin' you down, Makin' it right~"
Amelia continued to sing as she made her way to where she needed the bricks to go.

EIVOR AURELIUS - JUNIOR 5th CLASS - BLACK BULLS
The cool autumn breeze felt nice against Eivor’s skin. It was soothing and comforting, vastly different from the searing heat of the summer months. Eivor had been born during the autumn, and for that reason, among others, he felt a bit more at home during the colder months. Plus, in his own opinion, autumn was the nice and balanced season, not too hot like summer or spring, but also not as cold and unforgiving as winter- a nice and wonderful in-between. It was certainly a better alternative than either season. Eivor absolutely hated the blistering heat of summer, not so much the cold of winter. He thought of it in this way; you could dress for the winter, pile on clothes after clothes, you couldn’t dress for the summer. The only way to escape the summer heat was to strip down, but for reasons beyond his control, the law forbids nudity and other expressions of self-beauty. Until then, the colder months would forever be Eivor’s favorite seasons, no matter anyone else’s opinion. Sure, summer and spring allows for some beach and lake fun, but in the end, no matter what, you’ll be sweating like some sort of wild hairy animal and that wasn’t for Eivor.
Tilting his head off to the side, Eivor recounted how many people were in front of him and took interest in how many stone blocks that there were in the cart. While Eivor could not see the amount of stone blocks in the cart, nor felt like counting, he did notice a rather bizarre and colorful girl at the front of the line. She had fiery red hair that made her a rather noticeable, at least in Eivor’s opinion, and in tandem with this she held a rather slim and, what he would call, small frame. This was starkly different from the big and burly men and woman that worked at the construction site. Then again, Eivor himself was not the most massive in terms of appearance and physique. While he was a little muscular, his muscular build was hidden underneath his pecan-colored tunic and pants. On the surface, Eivor looked relatively scrappy and scrawny, but nonetheless, he was decently strong.
Eivor watched this scrawny looking girl pick up a lot of stone bricks. From what he could count, she carried about three or four stone bricks, which were no doubt heavy. He cocked an eyebrow at this sight and puffed out his cheeks. “There is no need to show off” he muttered underneath his breath and rolled his eyes as she walked by. She sang some sort of song, a song that Eivor honestly did not recognize. With her gone, and removed from the line, it started to thin, and after a while it was Eivor’s turn. He decided that he wanted to carry the same number of stone bricks as her, and for that reason, Eivor grabbed the same amount of stone bricks as the stranger. Carrying a couple underneath both of his pits, and barely held one in his hands. After this Eivor made his way to the stone wall, dropped them off to the construction worker who needed them, and went back to the line.
On her way to the construction site to begin helping like she agreed to, at least to herself. Walking there the slight chill of the air was a warning that winter was approaching, Amelia loved summer the most because that's when the colors of the kingdom shined there brightest and that was something inspiring to see, it was partly why she hunted monsters that caused more destruction than good, from the people, to the buildings to the forests and mountains high and low, she loved the Clover Kingdom, she didn't know where in it she came from, but she belonged in this kingdom, that one thing she was certain of.
Despite how she felt about the summer, the winter and cooler times were just as pleasant, Darius and her spent a few winters together inside of the very same hut she wanted to visit, Amelia and him would hunt hard for a few weeks to store food for the winter, stock up on liquor, water, blankets and thicker clothing, after that they shut themselves inside the building where they practiced, she missed those days dearly and even after they split and she started to travel..she still trained just like how Darius taught her, she missed him the most. He was like her family.
Thoughts distracting her long enough to reach the site, she started with laying bricks into the foundation with cement, while she thought about the past like she would assume many do, she also strived for the future and her near future plans was attending the Magic Knight exams, she didn't want the fame but the title and the rank could prove handy in her future endeavors, however she liked to put it however she was ultimately doing this to protect the colors of the Clover Kingdom she loved so much.
Switching to getting bricks to and from instead Amelia chose to pick up three bricks, gaze shifting she could see the others looking at her, mostly with shock that she could carry so many. One person in particular let out some sort of huffing sound as Amelia stepped right next to them, just as she was about to pass, stopping she glanced from the side at him while carrying the bricks, his skin was a lighter tan than hers but the boy definitely had a nice figure atleast from what she could tell as he was clad in a pecan or maybe almond colored tunic, wrappings all over his body, his clothing was proper attire for when the seasons turn for winter.
Looking directly at him Amelia just smiled and then turned forward again to continue walking, she didn't mind being called a show-off, she mentally didn't think she was as she was just trying to gain some muscle with a bit of weight training for the exams, she didn't know what type of competition or crazy test they come up with. Delivering the bricks Amelia began heading back as she saw the boy basically grab three like she did, as he passed her she whispered back, "Looks like were both show-offs~" As she continued walking back to the line for the bricks. At this point Amelia felt genuine curiosity, she couldn't quite explain it but it made her feel a bit light and her cheeks felt heated a a bit, waiting for him Amelia let other people skip her in line just so when he got back into the line she was in front of him, hearing him walking up she turn halfway around to him, "Hello there Mr Show-off, I'm Amelia, Amelia Hades"

EIVOR AURELIUS - JUNIOR 5th CLASS - BLACK BULLS
The person who Eivor found to be a “showoff” was a young lady who looked to be around his age, or at least, Eivor thought she was around his age. She was somewhat attractive, with long hair that reached down to her back, hair that was red like a crimson flame. Eivor for a moment find himself blushing a bit, as she stopped to consider him. She grinned at him and made her way to one of the brick workers who needed the large blocks of stone. It was the same stone mason that Eivor dropped off the stones that he carried, which were, well, relatively to heavy for his own good and silently he struggled a bit to lift them. They were admittedly big, a bit too big, Eivor felt stupid for attempting to carry so many at one time, but nonetheless, through stubbornness and determination he managed. Though, he silently made the decision that he wouldn’t do something like that again.
His ‘competition’ passed him on the way back, muttering something about how she wasn’t the only show off within the group. “Show off? No, no, you got it all wrong lady, I’m just pulling my weight” he sneered, sarcasm laced his voice. It seems that the young lady had taken an interest in him, and she approached him for what Eivor presumed to be a conversation of sorts? Though, at this moment, his back ached from the amount of stone rocks that he should *not* have carried and sweat dripped off his brow and made a puddle in his own attire. All in all, he wasn’t in the position to chat, nor to flirt. After all, who’d want to flirt to someone nearly drenched within their own sweat? Eivor sweated easily, even with the cool autumn breeze tussling with his hair.
“Amelia Hades?” He questions. He took a moment to think back to his education, the education that all members of House Aurelius were given. The name “Hades” sounded important, but right now, at least, Eivor could not remember his lessons. “Eivor, Eivor Aurelius.” He offered Amelia his hand, like she and him we some sort of businessman or merchants meeting for the first time. Eivor’s freehand nervously rubbed the back of his neck, massaging out the tension and stress that had collected. The young Eivor went to collect more stones but walked slowly so that Amelia could catch up or continue talking with him. If she wanted too that is. Eivor himself wasn’t much of a smooth talker, nor was he confident talking to members of the other gender.
Eivor spent most of his time and childhood talking with family members, whether that be his own ‘peasant blood’ or his adoptive family of House Aurelius. But when it came to talking to people outside the family, especially girls, well, Eivor felt all bubbly and knotted in the stomach. Hopefully, she would not be too discouraged from speaking to him, and hopefully his blunt but awkward demeanor would not run her off. "So um, do you live around here or something?"
There conversation started with the boy calling her a show off, although she did not think she was doing that and was nearly preparing for the magic knight test Amelia enjoyed the thought that someone thought she was doing something somebody didn't usually see from someone her size. Regardless, a small personal interest that brought about some amount of heat in her body accompanied with a flash of red on her two cheeks Amelia was overall impressed that the boy did the same, she could tell he was struggling a bit but she thought it Ironic that someone who was literally trying to show off to her was now doing it for her.
She liked him, maybe not to date him but he seemed like good company during missions, he just proved himself strong. Having been in front of the guy in the line as he made his way back around Amelia fancied a bit of a conversation by calling him Mr. Showoff, the boy replying he was no show off just pulling his weight. "Well then, I suppose the same could be said of me could it not?" Amelia asked back. Having introduced her name just a few seconds before the boy repeated it as if he was trying to remember something and Amelia gaze him a side glance wondering if he would remember, but it didn't seem he had too much to add otherwise, a pity Amelia would have liked a fact or two more about her own family. "Eivor Aurelius? A unique name for certain for a odd character." Amelia said as she kept watching Eivor movements and body language after just teasing him, he seemed uncomfortable but not in the way he didn't want to talk, just felt like words were escaping him and that seemed to make him even more flustered but he kept his cool quite well, it was almost cute. Smiling and sensing that Amelia decided not to press him but before she could say anything he asked her did she live around the area as they slowly walked towards getting more stones, "Yes and no. I'm a huntress by trade, I live off the land, hunting all types of mana beasts for profit. Although lately I thought about joining the Magic Knights or the Church, I'm figuring it out. Anyway sorry to drop that on ya~"
Stopping and turning towards Eivor Amelia gave a smile, "Well I must be going, I completed my portion of the work for the job I was getting paid for here. It was nice to meet you Eivor, I hope we see each other again, when we do I want you to tell me all about what you been up to, but until then bye bye, Eivor Aurelius." Amelia said putting her right hand on his face cupping his cheeck and then backed off seemingly walking towards the forest to once again, hunt.
