Here Maria stood. It was her turn to show off her magic but well, her magic was not the flashiest. So the best thing she could do was a demonstration of her own skills as they were strength by her magic. Lucky for her, there were a few Magic Knights who could assist in her demonstration. The girl did not want to challenge a knight. While she was confident in her skill, she was terrified of those whole ordeal. Everyone was looking at her, maybe even her mother was here. With so many eyes, if she messed up anything, nobody would forget. They would all label her weak and her mother would be right. Thus, challenging a random Magic Knight could risk her not even getting a chance to show her stuff. Thus, it risk her failing this exam. Thus, she could not do it. The only thing protecting her feelings was her weak smile as she did not want to wear her hood during such a public event. They needed to see her. They needed to know she was strong. "Please... let me be strong." the girl prayed under her breath.
This demonstration was meant to show off her most practiced abilities. Using the earth creation spells of the Knights, 5 rows of earth pillars were created in the middle of the exam grounds. There was a path from the outside to the center which would she would run through using her Sapphire's Swiftness, demonstrating her agility and speed. In the center of the pillars was a even larger one which she would she would break using her Amber's strength, demonstrating her power. This would signal the knight do then cast a spell which would drop a power spell which the girl would use her Diamond Marble to protect herself from showing off her resilience. With her standing among the rubble unharmed, the crowd and the knights would see that she was strong. So now it was time do this. No mistakes!
With everything set up the girl tapped her right leg with her arm and activated her Sapphire's Swiftness. She had done drills like this all the time so there was nothing to worry about. Entering the magic obstacle course, she darted between the pillars, hoping, ducking, and weaving between things meant to trip her up. With the first row done, she was going at a great pace but a small misstep caused her to lose footing. she was about to go into a tumble but the girl quickly balled up and jumped forward using the last pillar as a pole to spin around and keep momentum. It was not exactly how she wanted to go through that path but at least she did not fall. Upon reach the center the girl deactivated her Spell and then slammed her fist together. Now it was time to show off her Amber's Strength.
