Aelia had been doing better at her studies but she still had a long way to go, it was almost like there was a mental blockade that she couldn't or wouldn't walk past. This was through no fault of her own but it still frustrated Fredrick to no end and she knew it, it was hard for her not to when the two had a unique bond. During one of her educational outings to Kiten, she had heard whispers and rumours, she paid them no mind at first, after all, it had nothing to do with her and she was under no contract to care. Still, she had remained a few days because she had been curious to see what would happen over the week. There was no way for her to get a message to Jin easily as she didn't know the contact for them in the village.

It was something she would have to remedy when she got back but had sent Fredrick with the required information, he wasn't like her normal wraiths and so had a bit more freedom of movement. She had done a little bit of investigating during her time there, people had been going missing from their homes and even on the street. She believed it was little more than idiotic rogues trying to get a quick payday but the only issue with that was that so many people had gone missing in such a short time. She didn't believe anyone would be that stupid, then again, she had come across a rogue or two which she did question the intelligence of and how they hadn't ended up in prison or even dead given their idiotic plays. Walking down the street she had heard rumours of an attack and how the person seemed to be in a death-like state but still look alive.

This had piqued the raven-haired necromancer's interest and so went to where the order was said to be. It was in the outskirts of the village, likely pushed there due to their outlandish claims of Vampires. She had no idea what a Vampire was but she was sure if anyone would be able to give her such information it was these people, the issue was that she was still no good at speaking or reading and she didn't have Fredrick to help. She could use her 'Pixie sticks' but given the superstition and tension around the place she had no idea how her magic would be taken, then again, she didn't use her magic in front of others if she could help it. To her, if she did it signed their death warrants and no one wanted that but she guessed if she did have to do it, it would just be added to the recent goings-on.

It was still the early hours of the morning when she had woken and started heading towards her destination, she often did this as there was less light to affect her eyes. She knew the weakness to light was a major thing and as much as Jin had attempted to get her accustomed to it by taking her veil it hadn't helped any, she still had the same sensitivity as she always had and so they had come to the conclusion this wasn't going to change. She could travel during the day but she tried to keep to the shade, even then it was still painful but at least it wasn't as painful as when she was out of it and the sun was beating down. She preferred overcast and rainy weather because it was as close to night during the day as she could get.

She even had sensitivity to the moonlight but this was more in line with cloudy and rainy weather unless it was a full moon without clouds or other kinds of cover. Getting to a rundown church she stood at the end of the door wondering how on earth she was going to manage it. Taking a deep breath he raised her hand to get ready to knock when it opened, she hadn't flinched or even took a step back, she just looked at the elder six-foot-five-inch male towering over her. "Oh... good morning miss, I was just heading out. Is there... something I can help you with?" he would ask seemingly confused to see someone like her standing there. She bit her lip for a moment making the elder male seem more confused. She touched her neck with two fingers slightly apart hoping he would understand.
