In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

Rat found herself travelling in the common region. In her hand was a long and irregular shaped wooden stick she found. As she walked along a trail in complete isolation from any other human beings, she couldn’t help but realize she was smiling.
She had found inner peace and was content. She wasn’t alone, as she had been accompanied by her thoughts. Being alone could be frightening to some. However, Rat had seen some of the best- yet worse that humans had to offer in this magical world. While the girl walked with her one arm and her stick she felt herself at an imbalance, although one could say physically due to an asymmetrical build, it was rather mentally instead. The clouds grew grey and vanished, and the skies were a monochrome shade instead of a beautiful blue. All of a sudden, Rat would feel not one but several to hundreds drops of water falling on her at once. You’d think by now Rat would find herself in one location- her hometown, knowing all sorts of problems she found herself into, but that was not the case. The platinum haired girl would sigh, she found herself getting cold and drenched in the rain. She was in the forest and was stuck, she needed to find shelter. Not by a tree or by any pools of water of course, as that’d increase chances of being struck by lightning. And just like that- a clap of thunder roared followed by a lightning streak 2 seconds later. That meant it to not occurred too far, not far at all. Probably less than 2 miles if science was right. Rat holding the flower against her socket, she despised looking at the sewn up scar, found herself running. What had she saw? A patch of flowers much like the one she wore, if anything the same species. Perhaps, it was some sort of sign. And what was even more, there was a cave that stood in front of her. Rat would release her stick and began to sprint. Even for someone as disabled as her she ran so swiftly and effectively- much like anyone else. She had been so used to this by now she knew how to position her weight most times without falling. The young woman would reach the entrance of the cave. As she hit the rocky surface with her wooden sandals, she’d slip the soiled material off and ignore any bugs drawn to her flesh. Although, irritating to some Rat had felt much more pain. The young woman would hear someone nearby. There was someone coming. A monster? A clan of bats? Another person attempting to escape the cold rain? Rat would begin looking around frantically and upon either hearing and/or seeing the other male would make her flinch and even give a light gasp. “oh……” she’d say almost in a whisper as the person made themselves known to her. He seemed harmless enough, right? Yes? Ok, as long as they didn’t get to close!
Extra Training: Those with this perk can now have an extra Physical Perk Slot. This allows them to now be able to get 5 Physical Perks instead of the normal 4!
Secret Range: Those with this ability may now naturally extend the aura of their strength buffs by .3 meter for every 10 in control the player has. This can give your physical attacks a nice little secret. The aura can only be seen by those that have at least 50 in their sensory stat or use a sensing ability of any rank.
Corroding Curse: Hex and Curse based spells may now deal damage without the need of an offensive spec. The damage they are capable of dealing is the rank of their spell minus one. Junior ranked spells are unable to utilize this feature.
Mana Pool Plus: Instead of adding 10 to your mana pool for every 5 points to stamina, you can add 12 to your mana pool for every 5 points to stamina. This perk may be applied retroactively.
Momentum For every post that a person is in combat they will gain +3 m/s in their base speed capping at +30 m/s speed or 10 post. If they step out of combat, their speed boost would drop by 5 m/s per post until they reach their base speed.
Double Element: Your Magic Knight has pushed beyond the boundaries of normal and has the ability to specialize in TWO elements! This perk cannot be wiped!
✤ Limit Increase: Can target a single stat type and increase its limit by +10. This will increase the overall total stat points a person can gain at Grand/Archmage Rank to go up 10 points as well. This can be taken twice by a person
Patience: This perk will do absolutely nothing for you! You must buy before you become Grand rank. Once you do become Grand Rank and own this perk, it will automatically give you two extra perk slots! Patience really does pay off! This cannot be applied to NPCS!
Power Hungry: After initial character creation, Stat points delegated to your power stat only count for double. Such as 1 point to Power equals 2 points to power.
[Mana Zone] Mirthful: Those with this perk naturally gain +20 mana to their total while in the dungeon, gaining an additional +10 per floor they are on past the first floor. They also seem to recover 10% their total mana pool per room they complete. This costs two dungeon perk slots. This will cost four dungeon perk slots if the person has another dungeon perk with the name [Mana Zone]
Provisions: Can naturally recover major damage equal to one rank lower than theirs once per floor and regan 5% their base mana instantly. If two members of a party has this perk then 5% can be applied to the whole party! This will remain the base amount no matter how many have this perk.
[Mana Zone] Master: You naturally have a base +2 in all stats; gaining an additional +X to all stats, X = the # of floor you are currently on. This costs two dungeon perk slots. This will cost four dungeon perk slots if the person has another dungeon perk with the name [Mana Zone].
Vengeful Soul: Those with this perk have a deep seeded motive or goal that tethers their soul to this world.
Players will keep their same grimoire
They will retain 75% of their current stat pool
They will gain 75% of their current gold pool
They will keep all known spells but have their spell points on hand reduced by 25%
They will only be able to keep 3 of their items
They will keep all of their gold stars
Players will gradually forget their memories each time they die though whatever fueled their passion before their death will be exponentially increased to an obsession in this life. After three deaths that person will lose all sense of themselves and only live to fill out whatever goal is driving them.

Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside. Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without... Lithium, I want to stay in love with my sorrow. Oh, but God, I want to let it go. Come to bed, don't make me sleep alone. Couldn't hide the emptiness, you let it show. Never wanted it to be so cold. Just didn't drink enough to say you love me.[break][break]
"I can't hold on to me, Wonder what's wrong with me." Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside. Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without... Lithium, I want to stay in love with my sorrow.[break][break]
Don't want to let it lay me down this time. Drown my will to fly. Here in the darkness I know myself. Can't break free until I let it go. Let me go. Darling, I forgive you... After all, Anything is better than to be alone. And in the end I guess I had to fall. Always find my place among the ashes.[break][break]
I can't hold on to me, Wonder what's wrong with me. Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside. Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without... Lithium, ...stay in love with you. I'm gonna let it go.[break][break]
