In this world, Magic is Everything. All people, all races, are granted with the power to perform mystical and magical feats via grimories, mystical tomes granted to each and every child on their 15th birthday. Those blessed by the mana can have their names written down in legend.

[attr="class","shadowsHead"] Missionary
Even in the land of Clover, there are those who are not aware of the teachings of the church, finding religion to be nothing more than fairy tales and superstition. As a member of the church, it falls upon you to spread what the church of clover is truly about, and maybe recruit some new members into either becoming members or devout followers.

[break]Special Requirements: Go to smaller settlements and communities within the forsaken realm and teach the inhabitants what the church could mean for them, and what they could mean for the church. Whether people are interested in joining or not is of no consequence, as long as the good word is being spread across the country, it is considered a win for the church nonetheless.

Ever since the Shattering, there have been those that no longer believe the magic knights of the clover kingdom nor the church of clover can keep them safe. As such, they have begun worshipping the demons instead, believing that it will keep them safe from their new overlords when they inevitably win and take over the country. As this is a great wrong that needs correcting, the church has sent you to root out the source of the problem and get rid of it, bringing the lost sheep back into the arms of the church of clover and out of the clutches of demon worshippers.

Maximum Number of Players: 3 [break]Minimum Word Count: 2500 [break]Location: The Forsaken Realm [break]Special Requirements: Even if these people have taken to worshipping daemons, this was not an act of aggression or spite as they are merely afraid and have their fears fueled by some unknown force. You are to take down the worshippers and show the inhabitants of the settlement that their daemons do not protect nor empower them and that they have been fed lies. You are not to kill these people, as they are not the source of the problem, meaning killing is considered an automatic failure. If at all possible, it is up to you to both handle the issue and figure out who has been feeding them these lies, to begin with.

[break]Additional Information: These worshippers look exactly like your ordinary civilians until they put on crude masks bearing demonic markings carved into them, showing that they are proud members of a cult.

Believing the cult to be a threat to not just the church but to the country as a whole, the ban on killing has been lifted and is actually enforced for the duration of this particular mission. Completely eradicate the fanatics and the leader of the cult of Inferis. Leaving any of them alive to continue their foul work results in automatic failure of the mission.

[break]Magic Element and Types: Blood | Attack Creation | Restraining
[break]Combat Style: Acting as the foot-soldiers of the Maw of Inferis, these men and women use their magic in order to try and restrain their targets, making it easier for them to be sacrificed in battle to win the favor of their demonic overlords. No matter what, these fanatics will do whatever they need to as long as it means their leader remains alive and victorious, gladly giving their lives for the cause.
[break]Additional Information: Wearing the same crude masks as the worshippers in the settlement that had previously been visited, these men and women wear black hooded robes and wield a sacrificial kris that can do a lot of damage to those cut by it.
[break]Magic Element and Types: Poison | Attack Creation, Hex/Curse | Restraining
[break]Combat Style: As the master of the Cult of Inferis, the spells are created in a style befitting of the underworld and the demonic denizens dwelling inside. Firing offensive spells shaped like demonic skulls, using hellish chains to bind enemies and casting debilitating curses, he is quite the force to be reckoned with, especially when backed up by his heretical followers.
[break]Additional Information: Wearing dark, ragged robes adorned with demonic glyphs, he wears a more elaborate version of the Inferis cult mask. Complete with a crown and fitting shoulderpads, there is very little of the man that can actually be seen as his skin is covered up completely.

[attr="class","shadowsHead"] Culprit Found
With the death of the fanatics and the Maw of Inferis, the member(s) of the church have a moment to look through the encampment of the cult, allowing them to potentially free any prisoners, collect daemonic idols, figurines, cult banners and their heretical writings and take them back to the church for documentation, locking them up in a vault or for destruction. However, unbeknownst to the church member, the Maw of Inferis cast one final spell, causing all of the fanatics and his own corpse to form together into a grotesque mass of flesh, bone and bile. If this abomination is not destroyed, it will head to the nearest settlement, town or city in order to wreak havoc. As such, it must be destroyed with extreme prejudice.

It can also use its own skeletal structure to create defensive bone plating in order to protect itself from harm or fire barrages of venomous bone spines from anywhere on its body.
