Bacchus sat beside her, electing to take on the role of head servant since they would be staying over at the estate for a week at least since it was time for the annual family meeting. The Blue Rose squad member had been attending these meetings ever since she was 5 though hadn't really been allowed to sit in on them until she turned 12. This was mainly due to the fact that the elders of the family didn't think that the younger members of the Dubois family were mature enough to be able to sit in on the meetings for hours on end. Once she turned 12 though, it was decided that it would be best if she sat in and began to learn more about the family's interests and holdings. This meeting was a special one as her grandfather would now be choosing the next heir of the family to eventually take over and lead the family into the new age. This was a role that Victoria coveted since she felt that it was only natural that she be the next head of the Dubois family, especially since she was going to be the next leader of the Blue Roses. Her only real opposition to this was her cousin Annette though Victoria didn't really consider her to be that much trouble to defeat. Victoria had numerous prestige attached to her name; from her trip to the Skarsgard islands as well as the work that she had put into the Flower Festival a few months ago. She had been spending her time making connections and gathering as much influence as she could in order to raise the family's influence even further and her efforts had borne fruit. They had gotten new contracts and gained more money to the point that the family was now ready to move the manor to an entirely new area and that wasn't even the end of her ambitions. "Annette is merely resting on the family's laurels, barely putting in any work to raise the family to any higher status. It would be foolish of grandfather to actually seriously consider her a viable candidate." she internally dismissed. It was likely that her grandfather was merely entertaining the formality so as to not alienate that branch of the family but as far as the Wraith user was concerned, the proof was in the pudding as the commoners would say. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Once this has finished a single three-meter by 2.54 cm (1 inch) wide root will seemingly erupt from the wielder's hand, this root will curl around the feet of the person stopping them in their tracks for a single round after which their speed will be reduced by 2 m/s while seemingly making them physically weaker. While that is happening the vine begins creeping around the victims grimoire making cutting their spell casting cap in half. With the use of ammo rules, additional vines can be made each round.
