Taiyo listened to Amaya as she spoke of the situation. She didn’t remember the day her parents were killed and she, at first, didn’t want to acknowledge it. It was probably hard to come to terms with the fact that her parents were gone and would never return. It was probably doubly hard since she was a little girl. Over time, she came to accept it and she felt a need to return home. There was nothing but a tree there but when she was alone there sitting in silence, she found closure. It kept her grounded in the idea that anything could be gone in a moment and that she needed to cherish the things that meant the most and the people too. She then thought of them being proud of the person she became. He held a small smile. She was much different now than when he met her. When they met she was cold and unwelcoming but over time through his persistence, he managed to break through her heart’s defenses which opened her to the idea of friendship. She still had a very long way ahead. He hoped he could be there for every step of the way but he knew that wasn’t possible. As it stood, there was going to come a time where what’s best for the family will come and he would need to let her do what’s in the best interest of her family. They were royalty and he was not. He was nobility and quite frankly while they didn’t care about rank around each other, he was not the best choice. He also had so much he needed to learn before Hania would ever consider him worthy of his cousin, if that was even possible. He messed up badly. He had to live with it but until the day he could mend that, he had to work hard to become a person worthy of her. [break][break] As she spoke to Leone about the parents, Taiyo thought of what he truly wanted. It was here that he saw glimpses of the dungeon vision that had shaken him up during their run in the Kabocha Ohaka Mansion. There was so much hurt and pain buried inside. How could he become worthy with such darkness inside? ~Taiyo! I can feel the pain inside but you need to let it go; at least for the moment. You have to be more hopeful; be the bright light that you have always been and relax, okay?~ Brought out of his moment of worrying thoughts, he focused on Amaya and heard her out. ~Thank you, Cyra. It’s good to have you in my corner.~ [break][break] Amaya spoke of her daily routine of acknowledging her parents as it made her feel at peace. Taiyo was happy that there was at least a bit of closure there as well. Time has caused her feelings towards them to fade which he expected. Having the portrait and the scar showed her that they were in the past and she couldn’t go back. Taiyo looked at the scar she had and he finally realized how she got it. Amaya had never spoken about that scar before and even though he was curious, he never wanted to pry. He did ask her about it a lifetime ago but she hadn’t told him about it nor about the death of her parents. It was apart of her and he accepted it just as he accepted all the other things about her. [break][break] Amaya was now looking looking to the future. She had a different life now. She wasn’t the helpless girl she was back when she was 6 years old. She had Hania, Sol, Jianyu and Taiyo in her circle and they all pushed her further on her path. She noted how Taiyo accepted her as she was and not how she was supposed to be perceived as. He could tell that she really appreciated it. She appreciated him as a friend, a magic knight and her boyfriend which made him happy. He chuckled when she called herself complicated and marveled at how his head of hair didn’t have any streaks of white after dealing with her. She embraced him tightly which he reciprocated. Seeing that the Lion wasn’t interrupting them, Taiyo relaxed and hugged her back more confidently. He softly caressed her back.

Amaya released Taiyo from her hug, retaking his hand as she stepped back, turning on her heels. "My room is this way. That painting is the only entrance to this hall unless you go through some other rooms."She stated. [break][break] She smiled, moving two doors down before opening the door to their left. "Welcome to my room. It isn't a massive room but a decent size."She spoke, allowing him inside as she turned to Leone, letting go of Taiyo's hand as she crouched on the balls of her feet. "Now, Leone, I need to have some personal time with Taiyo to discuss some things." She spoke, getting a dull roar of disapproval as Amaya sighed, closing her eyes. "I know you disapprove, it is understandable, but I need to do this on my own." She spoke, getting another roar as Leone stomped his paw down in protest. "It will be alright, I promise. Once this is done, I will spend the whole day with you." She spoke gently, "But you need to let me do this. I can handle this wait and watch." She said gently, getting a snort in protest as he backed up, heading down the hall in annoyance while still giving some respect in privacy. [break][break] Amaya sighed as she stood up fully and shut the door before walking into the room. It was massive in retrospect, having a coat rack at the door and a few wall hangers, holding coats and cloaks she used when needed, along with umbrellas and some accessories. Her holster with her grimoire and her sheathed rapier hung from some of the wall hooks. Moving into the room, there is a vanity with various drawers and three mirrors curved in to catch all angles. Different light fixtures sat on her walls, as well as candle holders. On the vanity were several small boxes, some holding her makeup, others containing various accessories and jewelry. The wall across from the door was lined with two bookshelves reaching the ceiling with multiple books and items assorted on them. Between them was a small dark wood desk with a large painting of Hania Joseph on either side of Amaya, all smiling and seemingly happy. Books and various papers lined her desk, not being messy but a small organized mess. Next to the bookshelf towards the farthest wall was a window looking out onto the garden, in particular a currently hibernating patch of baby pink roses that grew against the window sill and across from it, as two deep purple curtains were pulled to either side of the window by a golden rope, allowing the light of the day to flow into the room showing the gentle blue walls with white accents. Next to the window was a nightstand and the large queen size bed made up properly with blue and white accents. Across from it was a white and gold screen with a chair off to the side, as behind it were two doors, one leading to her extra room of a closet and the other to her bathroom. Above them were various perches meant for Leone and a spot next to the bed for the Manabeast. [break][break] "Welcome to my bedroom, It isn't much, but it is an alright size for me."She spoke with a smile moving into the room over to her bed; she flopped down on it with a smile. "So whatcha think of my room?" She asked curiously as she smiled, watching him. "Oh, and what did you want to talk about in private?" she asked
[attr="class","posiescroll"] After their embrace, Amaya released Taiyo and took his hand once again. She then told him where her bedroom was, well sort of. She explained that the painting was the only entrance to the hall that led to her room unless they went through other rooms. When they got to her room, she allowed Taiyo in; telling him that it wasn’t a massive room but it was decently sized. As he looked around, he realized that their rooms were practically the same size. The wall across from the door was lined with two bookshelves reaching the ceiling with multiple books and items assorted on them. A small smile appeared on his face as he saw the desk with the portrait on it. He never thought he’d see Hania smiling in a portrait. His eyes also landed on some books that looked very familiar. Books that were given to her by his sister, Leona Vermillion. He then noticed the view outside the window and how beautiful it looked. Next he noticed the queen sized bed and the nightstand. The bed was fitted with blue and white sheets. After that, he saw the chair and the two doors. I’m going to guess that the doors are closet space and bathroom. It would only make sense since I don’t see any clothing space around. [break][break] He heard Amaya speaking to Leone and trying to bargain with the mana beast. She wanted privacy. Just some alone time with her and Taiyo. As the winged lion mana beast reluctantly agreed, Taiyo thought it best to do the same with Cyra. ~I would like some privacy as well, Cyra.~ Happy to oblige, the bird started vanishing. ~Of course. Enjoy your time together.~ [break][break] After Amaya closed the door, she officially welcomed Taiyo to her bedroom. She described the room as not being much but enough for her. She flopped on the bed and asked him what he thought of her room. ”I think the room is great. I also like the fact that you have my sister’s books on the table. I’m sure she’d be happy to know you’re taking good care of them and also reading them. Anyway, your room isn’t much different from mine. Well, I mean in terms of size and basic set up. I don’t have a coat rack though.” He smiled as he stood in her room awkwardly, not sure if he should sit in the chair or on the bed or anywhere. ”Oh, me? Uh… He took a deep breath. ”I am sure you probably noticed a slight change in me in battle. Truth be told, I think there’s so much going on inside me and I just never thought I would even think of talking about it.” He felt worried and even scared of what she would think of him.

Amaya looked towards him with a smile before nodding in agreement. She slowly stood up moving towards the window in thought. "I have noticed the change...Deep down I think I have known of something was changing but, I have never been one to trust my own heart or my own feelings." She spoke. "Nor have I ever been able to really know if it was you who was changing or me."She said gently to herself. "The one thing I have never understood is. You are open with me at nearly everything, but I also feel there are things you never told me. I never asked." She spoke gently. "You are the exact opposite of my cousin, while he tells me all i need to know when it comes to family, He never tells me of his own troubles and that is my own doing of never bothering to try and get to know him more then needed." She spoke turning towards him [break][break] "You always being opened and smiling has been a great reason I have kept trying... it is something I appreciate when it comes down to it." She spoke turning towards him. "But, why hold anything from me? I have always listened to you and whatever you wished along with telling you every little worry I have had. As your best friend, Do you still worry I can't handle what you holding inside? Have I not given you all my attention unconditionally? You know I can handle whatever you have to say and I am always here to give what advice I can?" She spoke before sighing gently. "I might not be stronger then you in strength. Nor am I strong in mind games like Hania. But there is one thing I am strong in and that is sticking to those who call me friend." She said before looking up towards him allowing her eyes to soften as she moved forwards taking his hands into her own, lacing their fingers together. "You can always tell me whatever is on your mind. I can handle, whatever the answer might be. For my friends and those that I hold those. I can handle whatever burdens they have."She spoke softly before looking up at him. [break][break] She didn't like things being hidden from her. She can handle such things from Hania and others for their own reasons. But Taiyo was different. He was Her boyfriend. Her best friend. They have been through a lot and he worked hard constantly to be named her best friend. He worked hard to be around her near constantly, to be at her side. He worked so hard to prove they were equals. She has always found it hard to let anyone beyond the barriers she has set around herself. Most she never gave the light of day, knowing all wanted influence and power, how else to get it from a small naïve royal like herself. She was a definite late bloomer and a child to politics and influential need, unlike her cousin. Most of her life she followed and listened. However most gave up simply on the first attempt or the first acknowledgement of being ignored, finding her arrogant, or cold. Some found her a bit too shy to swim with the sharks around herself. However Taiyo stayed constant and kept on with his attempts, remaining true to her, getting through her barriers she kept up. He earned her respect and admiration. He has always listened to all her complaints, her whines and groans of herself. He has never once not let her speak of only herself. Truly, Taiyo has earned every right to let whatever he kept inside out. It was the least she could do, for that for once, she can let him let all he held back and deep down out. That for once, it was all about him letting his barriers down "Let it all out Taiyo.." She spoke softly looking up at him.

[attr="class","posiescroll"] Taiyo was asked what he wanted to speak to Amaya about. The concept of it was frightening. He worked hard to earn the friendship he had with Amaya. He admitted that there was so much going on inside him and that he never thought he’d talk about it with anyone. She noticed the change in him. Of course, she did! It may have been slight for most people but they had been friends for years. What would seem like an unnoticeable change to others was very obvious for her. She knew there were things changing but she didn’t trust her feelings or her heart. She also didn’t know if it was her changing or him. She told him that she didn’t understand the fact that he was open with her with practically everything yet there were things he wouldn’t tell her. Heck, she even stated that she never asked. She was right though. He told her about almost everything but this was something he never brought up. He never saw a need to. With the darkness and hurt inside him at bay, everything was good. She even told him the contrast between him and her cousin, Hania. They were opposites and that was evident with how they told Amaya what was wrong. With Hania, it was about the family but not himself which was opposite in terms of Taiyo telling her the things going on with him, mostly. [break][break] She turned to him before talking again. She told him the reason she kept on trying was due to him always being open and smiling. It was something that she appreciated. She then started questioning him about keeping what he had been hiding from her and if she hadn’t proven that she could handle it. He stood there, letting her words sink in as she spoke of her loyalty to her friends. She was trying to convince the heir that she could handle it. Could she though? Could she really handle it all? Could he be vulnerable and still maintain her respect? Lions don’t bow their heads yet this would be him doing just that. It was pointless. Hania was right! He was no Lion; merely a worthless cub playing magic knight with his dad’s mantle. The fire in his eyes slowly faded as tears formed in his eyes. His knees got weak and he ended up kneeling on the floor. It was so much inside and he didn’t want to think about it. That was the reason he was there and so he had to commit to it. [break][break] When she told him to let it out, he bowed his head and looked at the floor as his tears fell to the ground. He wanted to speak but he couldn’t find the words. His world was collapsing inside out and he was to blame. There was so much he had to offer everyone but ultimately, he wasn’t the ideal choice nor was he a good choice. He was simply a broken toy, so to speak. ”I am worthless. A broken person who is on a clock. You know, I thought maybe I could change that but I was wrong!” He looked up at her with his tears streaming down his cheek. ”Lydia… she uh… she was my mentor! She was supposed to be helping me get better! I’m the laughing stock among the heirs and the heiresses of noble families all because I wasn’t a good swordsman since it’s a thing nobles are trained in and good at. She promised to train me; she took me on, broke my arms and tried to teach me. In the end, she saw no worth in me and threw me away… for another VERMILLION! I WAS NOT WORTH ENOUGH FOR HER TO TRAIN ME!” [break][break] He was breaking from that one thing but it wasn’t the only thing plaguing him. ”Then there’s Hania. Hania doesn’t like me very much and that’s entirely my fault. I tried my best and all it was in the end was pathetic. I was so frustrated that I blew up and said something I shouldn’t have and that destroyed whatever chance I had at making a bond with my vice captain. It’s no use even trying anymore. I’m never going to be able to impress him. Should he continue? Was this enough outpouring? He already spoke of the things he never uttered a word about yet there was so much more buried inside. ”My own spirit abandoned me! Cyra left! Yes, she’s back now but she left me!” [break][break] How could he amount to anything when all he was was worthless. Even among his peers, he wasn’t worthy. ”You know, people talk quite a lot. I’ve heard some things about something and I didn’t want to bring it up ever but I blame myself for it. I know about the kiss between you and Sol and while I wouldn’t just believe rumors, it’s quite evident that Sol is pretty recognizable. He’s 7’1 for goodness sake! Then there’s the fact that this tall white haired guy ended up kissing a 4’8 white haired girl. You were with Sol that night. Again though, it’s my fault. I hate hearing people talk about it but I act like it never happened.” He wiped his tears away but they were flowing like endless rain. ”You know what I saw in that stupid mansion? I saw death and destruction to those around me… but the reason they died was because of me. I KILLED THEM! I can’t sleep properly because when I do, I see you with my sword through your chest! I’m not worth it…” He looked up at her with dull eyes. It was as if he couldn’t see the sunlight. The darkness was there and now the truth was in the wind.

Amaya watched him as she could tell this wasn't a simple thing that was bugging him, it was a load of things that he hid away, that he kept behind that bright smile. All the pain he was bearing on his own. She watched the bright face holding light of fire in his eyes flicker before fading into a ember, struggling to stay lit from the cold void of what he held. Her eyes widen in shock as she saw the immediate change, feeling the light she called taiyo vanish, seeing a side of him she has never once thought was possible. Sure, everyone had a breaking point. Some allowed it out, like herself cause they rant strong enough to hold it in, she was also the type that could feel her own heart break and melt at the sight of another. She soaked in the feelings he was letting out, feeling his hands move down from her own as he crumbled on to his knees. For the first time, she watched him hang his head in defeat. [break][break] This was unreal to the girl. This had to be a nightmare? Her Taiyo would never allow himself to fall to all that tried keeping his flame down. She watched instances of the world talking down on him flash before her eyes. Was she blind? Has she been blind to it this entire time? She always wanted others to be truthful to her and not hide anything from her. But what did she do? She has been lying to herself, not being truthful to Taiyo or herself. She listened to his words, allowing each one to strike her deep in her heart, soaking them all in. Most was with the family name that ran deep in her veins. Those who were the former head and the current head of her family. "Taiyo....I -" she choked trying to find some words she can give to help him in some way. Her heart was breaking to see her taiyo like this...He was breaking and there was nothing that she could do to fix him up...make him brand new.
[break][break]
She couldn't do anything about Lydia as that woman was a whole can of issues that trying to pinpoint the true Lydia was harder then Amaya admitting her magic is angelic and not attack based. She couldn't speak for Lydia. Amaya herself rarely had any memories or knowledge of Lydia outside the few small instances she got to know the woman, even then, Amaya had not wished to be near the stem woman. Then there was Hania. She knew that one was going to be hard for the both of them. Hania was very much a very respected figure in Amaya's life. He was her caretaker and the current head of the family only being a few months younger then Amaya. He has always been perceived as the older of the two but the truth was, Amaya was biologically older but Hania was ancient and wise compared to Amaya. She has always known Hania wasn't the biggest fan of Taiyo whether in the squad or hanging around Amaya. It had often seemed the time she wasn't with taiyo was the more peaceful times of his day as the gods only knows what the two often got into that Hania had to do damage control of.
[break][break]
She allowed herself to move closer to him as she sat down on her knees letting him get it all out. She was going to keep her smile and be there for him like he was for her. She was going to bear this. She had to bear it even if every word stabbed deeper and deeper into her glass heart. Anyone else would have a hard time getting through to her but Her armor was always down when it came to Taiyo, cause why not he has never harmed her., he never done anything to her to make her scared of him, other then the one time she saw him with that dagger. It was then she felt her heart stop. She felt her body tense up hearing about the kiss with Sol. She knew what happened in the dark would always be revealed in the light and this was a true situation of display. She could tell this one probably hurt him the most. She had no response to the kiss. It was just a kiss though, there wasn't any feelings towards it right?. She then heard of his fear in the mansion. She saw everyone she love dying infront of some sort of attack infront of her. She didn't have her grimoire, she didn't have her rapier, She was paralyzed and helplessly watching each one she depended on die. But taiyo, he saw each and every death was somehow caused by his hand. How can one see past the possibility that all they love will ultimately die by their hand?
[break][break]
"Taiyo..."She whispered choking on her words as she watched him finally look up at him, the light in his eyes was gone, or hidden deep behind the pain and dark he kept inside. She felt her hands cup around her mouth, feeling tears break through her defenses as she watched him. How can she even fix this? How can she help his pain. She felt her brain go a million miles per hour, trying to find the best solution to fix it all. However she did the one thing she knew he already would do for her. She moved her hands to her hair before letting it out of it's ponytail, allowing it to flow down behind her. She then quickly stood up on one knee before lunging forwards, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "Let it all out Taiyo...We can discuss more once it is all out in the open..."She managed to get out fighting back her own sobs. This was about him. She needed to help him in whatever way she could. She buried her face into his left shoulder. She didn't know what to do. this was all she could get herself to do.
[attr="class","posiescroll"] With the rise of emotions coming from the heart, Taiyo let go of the things holding him back from being vulnerable. She wanted him to let it all out and so he did. All that accumulated pain and suffering buried deep down was being unleashed like a dormant volcano becoming active and erupting. His soul was going through what one could describe as a Solar Eclipse; darkness blocking out the light. His flame grew cold and slowly died out. His self worth came into question and he revealed what he felt the entire time. It was worthless. How was he supposed to become the leader of a noble house? He wasn’t worthy of that. He let it all out and he knelt there, broken. He had so much more pain that couldn’t be expressed by mere words. He hated himself and his fate. He didn’t want to be the head of the family yet he was doing it because he was expected to. It should be Emily yet she casually shrugged off that responsibility. Since Leona’s return, she should be the next in line but no, their dad chose a worthless idiot like him. Sure, he could do his best but he knew that not all of his own family even respected him. Would someone like Leonora follow him? Would she respect him enough as a leader to? There wasn’t much of a way. Then there was Leonard who didn’t respect the family enough to listen to him; even going as far to insult him with the attitude he displayed. His own family didn’t respect him as a leader because he wasn’t worthy of it! [break][break] He was a broken toy that nobody truly wanted. His girlfriend, as sweet as she was, kissed another man. It was his fault really. He was too sick to attend the event so he let her go ahead without him. He didn’t even set a boundary against her being with other males when she laid out that he was to be exclusive to her. He didn’t feel the need he had to. He just trusted her to be. Either way, he was so excited about their union as a couple that he forgot about saying that. He was hopeful that the relationship between him and his best friend would be enough for him to live a happy life but he wasn’t worthy of that. He wasn’t the best suitor for her at the moment and when it came down to the person who would be with her, they would have to be approved. There was no way he was going to be approved by Hania, especially the current pathetic him. As he poured out his heart to her, she couldn’t say much. She was just there. All that pain and hurt just from two people alone was next level and this wasn’t even counting in the others. Lydia and Hania broke him and it was all his fault. He was nothing but a worthless idiot to them. He had no purpose, no value. Even on missions with them; Hania just proved that Taiyo didn’t matter much and the mission could be done without him. Lydia on the other hand, allowed Taiyo to do something only to show him up effortlessly. He just wasn’t enough. [break][break] He heard Amaya whisper his name as he looked up at her with no fire or life in his eyes. He watched her put her hair into a ponytail before feeling her embrace him. He heard her words about letting it all out. He couldn’t stop himself from crying because there was so much pain inside. All those years of smiling amidst the pain was detrimental to him and now he was paying for it. He truly loved Amaya but now he knew or really admitted to himself that their relationship held them both back. They were safety nets for each other and he saw this in the dungeon when Sol scolded him. It was then he understood that he was the true problem to her growth. He had always been there to protect her from the pain but that wasn’t the best thing. He made things worse by simply being. She said they could discuss more once everything was out in the open. She buried her face in his shoulder. He had not been able to do anything, not even move his hands to hold her or comfort her. He could tell that she wanted to cry and he wanted to console her. He wasn’t even thinking about his own consolation. He slowly moved his hands to her back and rubbed it softly. ”I am sorry.”

"At least I can be honest. I was a liar. I feel like a failure Taiyo...I thought I could help you through this but...It did just the opposite. My bloodline alone has harmed you so greatly and instead of seeing the issues, I just blindly ignored them. That kiss with Sol. I meant nothing other then thanking him for making the ball not so boring. I should have remained faithful and not kiss, I know I should have fought it, I should've done you better then never telling you what I did. I have no excuse nor is it right for me to lie to you of it." She said gently removing her arms from around him as she wiped her eyes. She looked down at her hands , allowing them to grip her dress. [break][break] " I-I Don’t Deserve It. I Know I Don’t Deserve It. Can’t You Forgive Me, or my family for all the wrong we have done? At Least Just Temporarily ?"she asked looking up at him. "I know that it isn't my fault for what Lydia and Hania said, nor should I be asking forgiveness on their behalf but I should have been more aware. I should have been a better friend to you Taiyo. All these years, I should have seen all the pain you hid from me so I didn't have to see or bear any of it. If you want to leave and never see me again. I understand and will accept it and whatever comes of it from anyone. I deserve to feel the wraith your sister will have towards me along with the others of your family. I held you back and made you bear such a burden that you should have never needed to bear." She said gently feeling her tears run down her face. "I always thought you were great for me and the world was better but you were indeed just a safety net to keeping me safe. Being around me hindered the Lion I know that is inside you. Even now all I see is a ember struggling to survive the cold and I don't know how to bring your flame back up." She spoke in worry lowering her head down more. She wanted to make things better. There was one way. "Mother always said if you love something to set it free, If it fly's away, it wasn't meant to be, but if it stays then it is yours to keep." She whispered wiping her face again, not caring if she looks like a wreck she already cried once this morning, this was just as painful. [break][break] "Taiyo...I think....I....I don't want to say it but...I don't see any other way to possibly repair the damage My family and myself has done to you and the vermillion." She said keeping her focus on him even though she didn't want to say anything. she wanted to forget about today. this day was one of the worst, if not the worst day in her life. [break][break] "Taiyo, We need to break up..." She said in a shouting manner, forcing herself to get out the words. She never wanted to say those words or hear them spoken. She didn't want to break up with him because of him. No she needed to out of remorse for hindering him. She needed to release the caged cub she kept at her side all these years. She needed to find a way to get him back to the Lion she knew that was deep down inside him. [break][break] Right as Amaya shouted the words Jianyu had knocked twice opening the door to hear the shout as he moved inside quickly "Lady Amaya are you alrig-" He trailed off, nearly dropping the tray of refreshments and snacks he had prepared seeing the sight of the both of them sitting on the floor, their faces wet from tears as he felt his heart miss a beat in shock. Not of taiyo but more Amaya. He quickly composed himself using a foot to shut the door right as there was a thud and a dazed roar of Leone smacking head first into the door, possibly hearing the shout as well. "Well." He said with a cough straightening himself up putting the tray down on the vanity "I suppose this will be the part where Xiaodan will wish to depart for the day? I will see him to the door when he is ready." He spoke not happy about the event that took place as he was sure it was going to be a hellish next few weeks for Amaya, let alone Taiyo.

[attr="class","posiescroll"] Taiyo just didn’t want to see her cry. In the end, it was inevitable. Though, it was understandable. He looked at her as she moved from her embraced position. She looked down at her hands which sat on her dress. Was it guilt that she was feeling as she spoke about herself as a failure. She spoke of how she ignored his pain from her family. She then spoke of the kiss she shared with Sol, with remorse in her voice. She then begged for forgiveness but not just for her wrongdoings but also for the pain her family caused. She then spoke of the things she deserved from him, his sister and his family. The fact that she thought that Taiyo would leave and never want to see her was incredibly disappointing. She should know that he worked too hard for that friendship to simply give up on it. She claimed that she held him back as did he to her as they were safety nets for each other. That just went to show that he thought the very same thing she did. She could see his flame barely struggling and she couldn’t bring it back. He knew that she couldn’t restart the fire in him. Only he could but right now, there was no reason to do that. The pain and revelation of his darkness was so overwhelming that he had to do his best not to let despair take him over. [break][break] Amaya switched her speech to something else. Something that Taiyo wasn’t expecting but very much deserved. He wasn’t worthy of her and felt as if he had formed the relationship in an attempt to keep his best friend from abandoning him. Here’s where things went from bad to worse. Amaya started speaking about how her mother told her that if you love something to set it free, If it fly's away, it wasn't meant to be, but if it stays then it is yours to keep. It was a very similar saying to what his own mother told him and Leona. Their mom told that if they loved something to set it free, and if it left for good then it wasn’t meant to be but if it returned then it loved them back. Her saying those words could only mean that she was about to let him go. She started stumbling on her words but it all led to that moment. "Taiyo, We need to break up..." She yelled it out as if she was forcing the words out. He was numb. His eyes already was devoid of life. [break][break] When Jianyu reentered, Taiyo didn’t even noticed until he was asking Amaya if she was alright. Of course, he stopped himself from finishing the question. He figured it was time Taiyo left and offered to escort the boy when ready. Not able to say anything, Taiyo stood up. As he did so and started walking, the box that Taiyo held when he first arrived fell out of his pocket and landed on the floor. If she were to ever look inside, she would see both pieces of a twin pair of necklaces and a note. The note would say ‘Saw this and thought of you, - Taiyo’. Even though he didn’t notice the box falling out of his pocket, he walked with Jianyu off the estate. He remained silent as he walked slowly through the snow to the entrance of the estate. He had attached the sword she gave him to his belt earlier and hadn’t even remembered that it was there. He dragged himself through the snow until he arrived at his estate. The first person to see him was Leona who rushed over to him and hugged him. She could tell something was wrong and even though she didn’t know what it was, she was there for him. Just like that, his entire life crumbled. [break]Exit

Amaya remained sitting on the floor of her bedroom watching Taiyo raise to his feet without a word. She could tell the boy was dead. he would have been better if she drag an actual blade through his heart cause at least he could feel that. this taiyo was one she knew was going to haunt her for awhile. She raised a hand after him hesitantly before bringing it back to herself, wrapping her arms around herself as She watches Leone slip past Jianyu and Taiyo. She watched the Mana beast before noticing a small box on the floor where Taiyo once was. She wiped her face with a sleeve as she opened it looking at the twin necklaces along with a note. 'Saw this and thought of you - Taiyo" "Taiyo. I'm Sorry.." She whispered closing the box as she pulled it close to her chest tightly feeling her arms shake as a another waterfall of tears broke freely down her face. Leone moved to her side as she hunched forward resting her forehead against the ground before curling up as she felt Leone mess with her hair pawing at her just enough to get her to move her head some letting her use him as a pillow as he extended a wing over her. He didn't know what to do other then knowing if he saw Taiyo again, it wasn't going to be pretty. He hurt someone dear to him, who was part of his pride. He wasn't going to have it. He allowed Amaya to prove him wrong, that didn't happen, that proved even more his instincts were right.
[break][break] Jianyu silently followed Taiyo escorting him off as he sighed watching the vermillion heir leave "Such a ember fighting the winter. Stay strong young lion, time will heal your wounds." He spoke to himself. He couldn't say he was fully happy nor could he say he didn't want to beat a lesson into the Heir. Sure it was not his place to interfere with his and Amaya's relationship and he honestly wasn't sure if this encounter was going to allow them to even have a friendship let alone any acknowledged alliance. Both more or less tore the other's heart out. Jianyu sighed shaking his head. He was going to have a few hellish days just dealing with a depressed Amaya. He looked towards the sky watching his fog white breath form infront of him "I hope you both are happy with this..." He whispered to himself turning back into the gates of the estate, tending to cleaning up the stables first before moving to Amaya's room watching Leone in silence as he sighed shaking his head "Come on, lets get ready for bed.." He said shutting the door helping Amaya get ready and comfortable in bed as he watched Leone help pull the covers away as Amaya got in without so much of a word. Jianyu ensured she was tucked in and comfortable as the Mana beast got comfortable against her feeling an arm wrap around him before her whole body. He got readjusted comfortably extending a wing over her as he watched Jianyu in silence.
[break][break] "Yes, It will be a hard one but bear with it. I will speak to Hania of this." He spoke gently as the lion let out a light roar in agreement as Jianyu laughed "Don't worry, it was for the best of both parties, this will only hurt for a little bit." He reassured closing the curtains ensuring the room was dark as he picked up the tray "I will ensure all meals are brought here for the both of you. do your best to help her sleep, I will make it worth your wild as a reward." He spoke as the Mana beast nodded. He wasn't going to enjoy being Amaya's body pillow or the fact his fur was going to get wet but he was going to be rewarded for it and that was what counted.
