Lex Approach the man handing out baskets and books to people looking at all the people who were grabbing them. It was clear to her that many people were interested in the scavenger hunt besides just her. She didn't think she was dumb by any means but there were a lot of people in groups. And there were many people that were already discussing their various clues they've gotten from the baskets. Perhaps finding a partner would benefit her after all that was the whole point of these festivals which she mingled and converse with other people. She looked around for a moment she wasn't looking for anyone in particular just someone that would be beneficial involved competent enough. The tall woman's eyes eventually gleamed over to one of her squad mates She admits she hasn't really met any of her fellow squad or magic Knights. So perhaps this would be a good experience for them both. The worst case is she said no after all. Lex approached the shorter mage looking down at her slightly she gave a small Smirk, she didn't recognize her from any noble circle she seen. Not that she cared to much. She was a Blue Rose Knight first, station secondary.
"Hello my names Lex Krane, I was wondering if you would like to assist me. I wish you the scavenger hunt but it looks like there are a lot of groups and I feel making a group of my only beneficial. I figured what better the place to search them with my own squad. However darling I am not one to impose if you have another event you planned on doing you do not have to assist me "
Lex Spoke very politely to the pink haired woman. She held herself in a dignified and respectful post despite getting eyes from the men around her due to her dress. She didn't care, she long stopped caring. The only thing coveting her attention was the woman in front of her and response she would give. There was a small part of her that was eager to meet some of her squad mates but she kept her refined and dignified poise about her. She kept a smile and a cheerful demeanor about herself however it was alcomplimented by a dignified stance. She was a noble woman after all. Though she made sure not to look down at her potential partner, not wanting to start on a bad note.
A scavenger hunt! A fun activity for sure! The pink haired woman would find herself, taking part, there were a LOT of people looking to take part in this scavenger hunt! It would probably be a whole lot of fun. Though Hono was set on one thing, she was going to win! The woman was super determined, SHE WOULD WIN. Though she would need some help maybe she could find some help?
he was very determined so maybe that would help her Who exactly knew, Hono heard that a lot of magic knights were going to be in attendance, so maybe she'd make some new friends or perhaps meet up with some her squad mates? Hono was currently looking around up at the person soon looking over her. A rather direct invitation to be sure.
"Hono Kitai! I wouldn't mind giving you a hand~" The girl had a playful smirk, almost as if she was revealed to have a hand at this hunt. "Blue Roses should stick together no?" Hono would tap her chin before speaking up. "I'll team up with you under one condition!" The girl would hold up one of her fingers up, laughing a little. "We win." A... odd condition to say the least. Hono was very hopefully they'd bring the win home. "This would be a big win for the blue rose after all! Imagine how proud the captain would be! Lex and Hono! Winners for the Blue Rose!" The title sounded amazing~
Hono seemed to be good hearted, but a bit crude around the edges, a well meaning woman regardless. She would bring up her hand offering Lex a high five as if sealing their teamwork together. "For the Blue Roses right? Let's kick some ass!" She chuckled, should Lex give her a high five Hono would bring her hands back down to her side, if the high five was rejected she do it slowly and awkwardly. "We'll win for sure~ I know we will!"
"Any idea what the first item we need to find is? I don't think we should split up, my magic won't exactly help me find things, do you have anything fancy for finding objects?" A rather random suggestion, not impossible but not very likely, it was a better start than nothing after all. Though she would listen to Lex, seeing if she had any other suggestions for where they should start.
Lex Stood there for a moment staring down at the girl who was now known as Hono. She wasn't used to this kind of behavior as all she usually dealt with was other nobles of the lake and some small degree. It was a tad insulting that her station was recognized but that was quickly overwhelmed by the refreshingness of the conversation before her. So many day she deals with stuffy people and to hear one just so vibrant happy in speaking their thoughts she couldn't help but stifle a. Bit of a laugh a small giggle as she covered her mouth for a moment looking down at her. All she wanted to do to team up was to win an attitude that she would very much enjoy if this was how she was always as she was also someone. Who enjoyed winning and her outcome being the one as she then finally spoke.
Of Course darling, losing was never an option to beigin with.
She said as she then announced how they would win and how it would be at the end once again making her give a small laugh. However the next action caught her off go to she held up her hand. She knew the geature well However she needs never really done it herself. She's seen it done many times but most noble shakens not high five. To say that this would be a newer thing for her wouldn't be out of the question however she would not leave the girl hanging as she lifted. Her hand and placed it against hers with a small tap. Just enough to get the point across her awkwardness of the high five quickly being hit by her Gracefulness. She then stood there giving a small nod.
I agree I think it's proper that the Blue Rose Knighrs win, And no I do not have any magic that would help us with the situation. All I have is my mind however it should prove enough as we should start. Let's open the book and see.
She said as she then opened the book up looking inside at the pages as she pulled it out of her basket. Inside would be magical writing that would appear when you found the item the op in the next clue. She then read the clue aloud for her teammate to hear she would pass the book to her but she so did this first.
Welcome to the scavenger hunt hidden within these pages. The first decoration you need to find is representation of the host mages.
As she finished reading the video aloud she showed it to her partner before thinking for a moment she was pretty sure she had to wait answer. It wasn't a very hard video for being the 1st one. She imagined they would get harder and the first one was more on the simple side. However she did want to see if her and her partner were on the same wavelength with this and see how much they thought alike..
Hono Darling, I have an idea of what this could mean but what do you think it means i'm curious. I'll follow your lead for this first one..
Hono was a little surprised at Lex's giggle. She wasn't exactly expecting that, but hey, Hono was always glad to make her fellow knights laugh. I mean after all she loved the Blue Roses. She would love to have a decent reputation among the knights so being friendly was going to beneficial, at least in Hono's mind. She would quickly nod her head as a response to her new partner in this hunt. Darling wasn't something Hono was used to hearing but hey, being called that by a cute girl wasn't a bad thing! "Darling? How sweet of you! I know with a great ally like you we can do this!"
The woman was glad Lex shared her enthusiasm for winning. "Yep~ My fire isn't gonna help, unless we need to burn something down" she playfully chuckled, a powerful magic, but not great for finding objects they may need. She wasn't exactly sure what type of magic her new friend had, but it didn't matter right now, it was just something Hono was going to wonder about in the back of her head. Hono would peek over Lex's shoulder reading the pages alongside her. However, once the book was handed off to Hono she would reread to make sure she understood every part of the riddle.
"I am not exactly sure what type of magic the used" She tapped her chin thinking. "He uses a basket. So maybe he uses wood...maybe paper?" She would look around their area, seeing if any wood or paper would stick out.
Lex Thought about what she said wondering if she took the little too literally but at the same time Perhaps it was on as far as she thought. After all the obvious answer was oftentimes to her Incorrect and often took more of a creative approach. She couldn't place it but she had a feeling that this was Was definitely one of those times. She looked down at her partner and gave a small smile glad that she wasn't. The insuffi. Already enjoying. Working with her.
I do believe we're looking for something along the lines of a blue rose darling, However if we want to combine the two thoughts I did see some blue rose paper mache decorations out front before we came in. Perhaps we sounds start or search there.
Worst case scenario she was wrong and her line of thinking. However she had a weird feeling she wasn't. With that in mind she would turn and start walking towards the front entrance with her partner. She was interested to see if there's line of thinking went where she was hoping it would go. However time would certainly tell. She saw a few other people walking this way as well though they weren't going the exact same direction as Them and she could definitely tell a feel of a more keeping an eye on the others to mutch off their clues. Those were the kind of people that upset Lex, People who don't put in the work and just lead off of others. She would make sure that they didn't get any progress due to them.
AAs they got to the front entrance she looked around and walked over to the archway of the paper mache blue roses. She handed her teammate to book for a moment asking her To hold it open As she plucked a single rose and placed it on the page. The book glowed for a moment and it disappeared into the pages as A new page formed with writing on it, Their next clue to the next piece of decoration that they needed defined. Now she was definitely glad she had her partner here she would have been way too literal with this little when she needed to look for a decavation.
Well darling, Looks like you will write on the money without one. I must say congratulations I was thinking far too literal. Now? What's the next clue we need to go for?
She asked as she looked down at the book page waiting for her to read it and see what their next course of action would be and what the book's. Riddle would end up being as well.

Hono would find herself looking toward Lex, curious if her partner had any leads, however, it would seem the beautiful lady had an idea. Hono nodded her head, looking at the black-haired woman. Blue Rose! So the puzzle was about their very own group.
"Brilliant Lux! Brilliant dear!" That last line was a tease, Hono was doing her best Lux impression, giving Lex a hard time. As soon as Hono said that, Hono would find herself walking toward the area mentioned by Lex it was pretty spot on, the pink-haired woman would offer a high five towards her partner a really dumb large smile on her face. Hono chuckled curious if her gesture would be accepted.
Hono would find herself holding their book, making sure to not close it, watching as her partner placed the rose in their book, Hono did her best to not drop the book in surprise, though Hono was quick to flip to the next page. She would see the following riddle and read it off for her new friend.
"I have no eyes, yet I always see. I am your most dependable guide. I'm not magic, but I seem that way. I fit in your pocket, every traveler has me."
Hono read what the object was and had an idea of what the thing was, but she wanted to hear Lex's opinion before giving her own. Before she let Lex speak she would read the location of the object. "Amidst the wood of oak, where these instructions all began"
"Any ideas? I have my guess, but I'm curious if we're on the same page!" The pink-haired girl had a rather toothy grin, seemingly always smiling and full of energy. Eager to solve the next riddle.
