With 4 decorations in her basket, she was ⅓ ways completed. She just needed 8 more decorations to have a complete set but even if she didn’t get it all, she could take what she had to decorate the tree. She was very determined to get all the decorations though. With the 5th clue in the book, she read it to herself and thought of where the clue was going to take her. She started moving back towards where the most people were. She didn’t know who around her was planning to take her decorations so she kept alert and did her best to keep her basket as close as possible.

She put some pep in her step as she figured out just where the next decoration may be. It was a hunch but the clue was guiding her to the place where it began. Whatever it was was a mystery but she figured that the it that was being referred to was the event. She moved to the where Captain Alyssa of the Blue Rose Magic Knight squad gave her welcome and opening remarks. As she surveyed the area, she found her 5th decoration and put it in the basket. ”Vague but not too bad.”

With the 5th one in the basket, she received the next clue. She was actually having fun figuring out the mystery and getting the decorations. She had to sit for a minute to not only catch a breath but also to think about where this was sending her next. She figured it would be somewhere nearby but the clue was so strange that it wasn’t making her see a possible location as to where this decorative piece could be. She sat there, looking out at the many people at the event and saw many people doing different activities. She simply observed them and made special mental notes on those who she thought stood out.

After her time catching her breath, she got back up and read the clue once again. She let out a sigh as she still didn’t know what it could be referring to. ”Where in Sylph’s name could it be?” It was a harder clue than those other ones she had before. She didn’t plan on giving up though. She just needed to think. ”If I was an organizer, where would I hide a decoration? We already had some in strange areas so what’s another area I would put one?” She whispered as she looked at the 5 decorative pieces she had in the basket.

She thought for a bit before she had an idea. What if she jumped and let the wind help her get a better view? No, that won’t do because someone could possibly look under her if she is over them. Hmmm, being high up…? She looked at the clue one last time and had an idea. She passed along the main area and held her hand up and used the wind which helped her get a decorative piece from being on a rooftop. ”Wow, I didn’t think they would put any up there.” She whispered. She now had half of the quota. This was good.

With the 7th clue in her book, she walked around as it was sending her to an area near a merchant’s shop or so she believed since the clue included a phrase saying ‘The market zone for specially wanted items.’ What else could that mean than an area where merchants had shops? She walked slowly down the path until she found a few merchant shops. She started searching the alleyways between them and had little luck in finding what she was looking for. That was until she came across the final alley where she got the decorative piece. She placed it in her basket.

As the 8th clue started writing itself in the book, she felt a presence behind her. Well, 4 to be exact. ”Have you no decency? Sneaking up on a young lady like that?” She turned around and faced them. She was cornered by 3 guys and a girl. It looked like they wanted to get her hard earned decorations. ”Great.” She said before clutching her basket and jumping off the floor and using the wind to push off the structure on the right and then on the left until she was on top of the merchant’s shop. ”Nice try but I won’t be cornered so easily. Now you all should take off before I report you.” The person in front scoffed before he and the group started walking away. Anila left out a sigh of relief. She didn’t think anyone would go through such lengths over this. What was the point of the event if they were going to sully the meaning behind why they were there?

Now that they had run off, it was time for Anila to read the next clue. She read it slowly, thinking about what was the clue going on about. It was written backwards and it was somewhat vague. raos gnol a retfa tser I rerhw ecalp a. No matter how many times she turned the book, the words displayed the same way. She took a deep breath and traced her finger along the page, calling the words after she sorted all the letters. In the end she had the translation but still was somewhat lost. That was until she heard chirping and she looked around, seeing a tree with a nest and the decorative piece she wanted. ”Bingo.” She used the wind to bring the piece to her and now she had 8 pieces. Just 4 more to go.
