In Kiten, there is a man going by the name Vincent Wetherby, though he wishes to simply be called “Wetherby”, who is working on his latest book. Calling it “Wetherby’s Bestiary”, he offers any who are willing to provide him with new information a fitting sum of money, not to mention having their name written into the book for their contributions. For this particular bit of input, you are to travel to the common realm and observe the local trolls in their natural habitat, writing down as many things as you can that might be of any value to the bestiary. Even the smallest, most insignificant of things may end up being invaluable, so write it down.

[break]Magic Element and Types: Rock | Physical Reinforcement, Defense Creation | Attack Creation
[break]Combat Style: Trollolo uses rock magic in order to harden his already thick and leathery skin to protect him from harm, enhance the striking power of his fists and create large boulders to either launch or throw at his enemies, crushing them good so he can eat whatever remains.
[break]Additional Information: Trollolo is not a violent troll, though he is on edge ever since his friend Bol was murdered and maimed by humans. If one could convince him that they were friends, maybe by making an offering of food or something to play with, Trollolo will open up and answer any questions asked. Keep in mind, Trollolo has roughly the same mental capabilities as a five your old child, so he is fickle and easily distracted.
Saeka was enjoying her travels just as she did every other day. She was enjoying this freedom and adventure she was having. She always reported into Xue in a rotation of three days just to let him know of her general location, her intended direction and if she was okay on her own. While he didn't have much care for such things as they didn't seem to interest him. He was someone that she held close. He was just like her in a lot of ways so when it came to a member of the family she could speak to without bugging the others and ensure their mother knew, it was Xue. [break][break] She was in Kiten enjoying her stroll through the town. Trying her best to find some sort of entertainment, that was till an oddball of a man stood out of a shop near by. Her curiosity was peaked to say the least. She moved towards him to watch the forming of a crowd to watch the spectacle of him calling out to the crowd asking if anyone was willing to hear him out. As much as Saeka did not want to deal with the man, he caught on to her as he pointed at her " you girl! You interested in my plight yes?" he asked. [break][break] Saeka blinked in surprise at the man as she shaked her hands " No No No." She stated acting surprise and shy. [break][break] " Come on you seem one for excitement! I just need your eyes to observe, no fighting no nothing. "he pleaded [break][break] Saeka thought about it. "Alright alright." she said deciding to go along with the man's request if its just observing and nothing more.

Yursir had been entrenched firmly into the dark recesses of his own thoughts when his deep concentration on his daily meditation ritual had suddenly been broken by the sound of several footsteps gathering in the nearby pavilion. He stood somewhat agitated as he hated having to be interrupted during his rare moments of being allotted time to decompress after an already long day of ceaseless menial tasks. Yet such was to be expected of a younger inexperienced knight despite his already budding talents.Taking a deep sigh he then proceeded to stand from the stone bench he had been lying on to investigate the source of the commotion and if the cause would be of any concern. The young elven prince now newly realized as a member of the House of Ravencrest sauntered methodically through the street where his piercing gaze analyzed every single individual movement within the crowd, meticulously scanning every face as his mind took in all the sights and sounds around him until he came upon a gathered crowd, and quickly noting the man that currently stood on a slightly elevated platform to explain his dilemma to any who'd listen.
Being diligent by his very nature, Yursir took a moment to stand and listen toward the back of the crowd, whilst his mantle identifying himself as a member of the Golden Dawn drew the eyes and whispers of some of the approaching onlookers. He had purposely made his presence known this way as he began to sense an opportunity to begin attaining his own accolades as a proper Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom.
"You sir! Yes! you are perfect to ensuring this task! You will help this scholar with his plight in simply observing trolls in their natural environment! You are of the golden Dawn after all who better" Called the man as the choosen partner sighed shaking her head in disappointment seeing the man had choosen the odd ball of the group, a literal golden dawn member. Why of all the magic knights she could get paired with would a snooty noble of the golden dawn have to be the one to be picked. They were too flashy, too showy. Too loud, to annoying, too into themselves. She could list her dislikes of those in the squad for hours. [break][break] She didn't have time for this. Especially dealing with a magic knight. Why did she have to work with this magic knight of all people. She had a job she needed to get to and someone she needed to meet. She knew it was not best to work with the magic knights given her line of work. She was sure she was going to get some lecture when she was to get back home from her objective. At the moment however. She decided to play her part. [break][break] She walked over to him as she curtsied to him " Good day sir magic knight. I am Sayla. It does seem we were paired by fate to go forth on this task together. "She spoke happily as her cotton candy pink eyes kept watch on him with a big smile on her face. She wasn't going to enjoy this one bit. She took a deep mental breath to calm herself needing to play this just right. How knows she just might find some entertainment to occupy herself with later.

The task in question wasn't quite what the currently disgruntled prince had had in mind as something that would allow him to stand out. Though considering the research subjects at hand were Trolls after all, there was a lot of room for things to go wrong. The more he considered the possible difficulties one might encounter on a mission like this, the more interested he became in undertaking the opportunity granted to him.
"I will indeed be sure to ensure the success of this mission on my honor as a Knight of this Kingdom", Yursir declared as he stood to attention and signed the three finger salute across his heart as the crowd began to applaud his display of eagerness to assist a citizen in need.
Though soon his focus would be made to shift upon the young lady who'd introduced herself to him in such a proper manner.
"Sayla now was it? A rather lovely name. Though I'm not sure if I believe in the concept of fate. Nonetheless my name is Yursir and I am pleased to work with you", he stated earnestly as he returned her gesture with a slight bow of his head.
Though when their eyes locked and he looked closer he noticed in that moment that the girl before him was quite the beauty. And now suddenly for the first time Yursir had found himself feeling a tad self-conscious of his image in her eyes. He would quickly turn his head and clear his throat as he then attempted to redirect his focus back to the task at hand.
"Well then let's proceed as soon as your preparations are complete sir", Yursir would say as he contemplated to himself. Perhaps it was a good thing my meditation was disturbed after all
Saeka watched him keeping a smile on her face ignoring the applause as she opened her black laced parasol resting it slightly over her to block the sun of her skin.
[break][break] "Now remember no harming them just observe use these books and write any and everything, even draw anything if you must. If you have to defend yourself, do so only to make them back off." He instructed handing them both two small books with blank pages and pencils.
[break][break] "Alright."She said accepted hers with her left black gloved hand before looking at Yursir " The pleasure is all mine. "She commented watching his gave closely before she looked away towards where the trolls were last seen. She mentally wanted to scream. Here she was, having to play nice with a golden dawn member. a prodigy. a snooty noble. She had nothing against just the golden dawn. She didn't like people in general, other then her own family. Everyone but them were targets and just names on an ever growing list of bodies she was someday going to go after. She shaked her head making a mental know of his unease around her. While she wasn't one for such actions she knew exactly what that unease was, even if she never felt it herself. She took a momentary sigh to attempt to calm her nerves.
[break][break] "Right this way then, Lets get this done as I do have things to do and a place I need to be." She spoke in bubbly confidence leading the way towards their targets. She was going to just bide her time. She knew where this interacted landed on her lists to do.

Upon hearing Sayla's wish to expedite towards the completion of their shared benefactor's request; Yursir couldn't help but to agree. The sooner this job could be completed, then the sooner all parties involved could get back to their individual duties. Though the young elven prince would seek to take full advantage of this time he had to perhaps learn something about his new impromptu companion. In the meantime though, he would proceed to follow suit as the man would quickly lead them both promptly to the site near an old clearing where he had last stated he had spotted the Trolls. And of course this same man would continue droning on tirelessly the entire way there that unless in self-defense they were not to harm any specimen as any number of them could potentially provide valuable research material. During which Yursir would simply nod in understanding. Although in actuality he was hoping the task that he had been specifically chosen for would be one where his less subtle skills would be needed.
Well, it doesn't matter much anymore. Just focus on the job at hand now Yursir.
Yursir would then produce a notepad and plop a seat onto the soft grass once the first Troll appeared.
"Now then let's see what was so great about these creatures that it made this man so obsessed with them in the first place" he said anticipating the inevitable downtime they would certainly experience at a job this dull.
Saeka followed along after the man and Yursir before sitting down beside the magic knight, adjusting the frilly skirt around her legs hiding them within it's depths. She wasn't sure why she was stuck on this mission. She had hoped to get out of it but doing so now will bring attention to her. Not to mention sitting still wasn't her thing.
[break][break] She was a hyper noble girl. She wanted nothing more then run around and explore. yet here she was. She sighed putting her mind to focus, blocking out her thoughts and feelings, focusing on staying still and quiet. She held up the journal as she began drawing the creatures. She wasn't the most detailed but her drawings were refined and pretty of the trolls. Her eyes were focused on the creatures as her hand move freely without restraint drawing in every little detail she saw of the trolls.
[break][break] After a minute of drawing she blinked stopping herself for a second to look down " Not bad...Getting better each time." She spoke gently to herself writing a few notes from her observation and the pictures, writing some names before drawing arrows to them allowing a small giggle to escape her lips before looking up in thought tapping her writing utensil against her chin as she looked back down quickly writing even more on her book, keeping it close to her face remaining hard focus.
[break][break] "So one will move there to give this one a flower. "She spoke softly to herself watching the picture before turning to the pack of trolls infront of them as indeed one of the trolls was playing with a flower before another came over taking the item away. She watched the altercation of anger and confusion spere to the two creatures roaring at each other, puffing out their chests.

"Quite the fiery bunch they are" Yursir stated to himself as he had within a matter of minutes already begun to compile a rather impressive set of notes ranging from physical anatomy, social behaviors, habitations, feeding habits, and various other things. His inscriptions proved to be quite very clear and precise, though his drawings were even more impressive in comparison with their incredible depth and detail. What else could one expect from a master architect? His gaze would become intensely focused on the two quarreling Trolls who by this point had now decided to come to blows over a simple plant. Rugged clenched fists would be made to fly forth as the two beastly beings collided in a rage induced frenzy. Meanwhile Yursir would lie on his side as he allowed his gaze to follow their every movement. His face seemed quite serene in this moment while he pondered at what made these creatures so durable to withstand such violent physical blows.
Greater bone density perhaps? Or perhaps it's the result of their impressive musculature? There's also the chance it could have to do with their hormones, though it doesn't appear to be their rutting season...
He would then take a glance over his temporary partner in question once he had had his fill with the fight. His gaze now rested on her works thus far within the short amount of time they had spent so far.
"Very splendid talent you possess there" he would say earnestly upon observing her own drawings more closely.
Saeka continued watching the Trolls fight allowing her hand to keeping the journal open and to her drawings of the pack. She wanted to join in on the fight, watching them in their native habit, fighting over something so small. the power of their muscles hitting against bones, both using all they had to get the upper hand.
[break][break] These creatures are so interesting. Not a care in the world of anything else, fighting each other all over a small flower. Why though? was it the simple you have something I want cause I am the alpha? Was it a sign of weakness to show the curiosity? She thought to herself reflecting on her lessons back home of how her family was in itself a unit so to speak. They all followed their mother who was their alpha. Stepping out of line could result in punishments and lectures. Oh the dreaded lectures, Saeka has dealt with working herself into the skin of the girl she was now. Her soft pink eyes watched the trolls as she sighed before closing them shaking her head. She turned her attention towards him when he looked over at her drawings.
[break][break] Immediately she shut her book as some red brightened on her face " Hey! No peeking at my own notes!" She studdered allowing herself to seem to have been caught off guard by him. [break][break]

Yursir chuckled a bit at his companions' reaction, thinking it rather cute how private she was over the contents of her works. He would turn back over to glance at the open blue sky as he spoke with a calm grin.
"And here I thought perhaps we might actually work together on this little foray. A shame really, considering it's not often I get a chance to exchange ideas with such a well trained artisan like yourself. It actually makes me wanna cry a little," Yursir quipped, allowing a sarcastic crack in his voice while he covered his eyes with his right hand.
He felt quite comfortable in his current surroundings. He could feel the light breeze passing over the low grassland, as he heard the birds sing overhead. He could feel the light crackling of a small stream acting as white noise to the consistent grunts of the other Trolls as some of them clambered over to investigate the conflict occurring in their midst.
How peaceful this day has been thus far. So much so I could…
His thoughts would trail off as he could feel the temptation of slumber beginning to pull at his eye sockets.
"Work together? I thought we were doing so already." She spoke acting shocked in his assumption. While she wasn't about to willing work together with a golden dawn member like him. She was having to play nice.
[break][break] She sighed shaking her head " fine fine, Here are my notes. They are sort of tiny compared to your own and well more cutesy. I even gave them cute names. "She said holding out the notebook before swiftly taking his own " If I am letting you see mine, I get to see yours. "She spoke resettling herself back down , adjusting her parasol over herself as she looked over the notes closely. His notes were detail and amazing. She took in every little detail she could of the drawings and notes as well as of the golden dawn's member hand writing and attentions to detail as there was a lot to be said about one through their writing. Any and all information she can get will be good information indeed. [break][break] Maybe she was over thinking things but she was going to enjoy herself one way or another. She lifted up a pebble before hurling it up into a tree above the trolls , hitting an apple that fell on top of one of the troll's head. She resisted a giggle at the confused anger sight of the troll to a harmless apple. [break][break]

Yursir opened his eyes again as her notes were received in his own hand. He turned his face quickly to conceal a light blush as their hands had briefly brushed during the exchange. That and her mannerisms to him were just so obscenely adorable that he couldn't possibly stand it. He didn't mind or care that his own unfinished works had been nabbed in the process as his eyes naturally perused through Saeka's written observations with a hint of wonder that there was someone his age with just as keen an eye as he had. Though her sudden disturbance of the research subjects in question had expeditiously attracted the ire of their client who at this point had been all, but forgotten about.
Though before he could say a word, Yursir had made a simple motion with his hand suggesting that all was well and he'd see to this discrepancy, thus prompting the older gentleman to return to his own works.
"Feeling a tad mischievous now are we?" Yursir commented with a grin. He scooted slightly closer as he asked quietly enough for only Saeka to hear him.
"Might I indulge as well?" He questioned with a renewed sense of excitement that he hadn't felt since his childhood days.
[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] "Mischievous? Oh no, never me."She said with a silent laugh looking at him out of the corner of her eye. Seems she had sparked his interest, all according to plan. At least she figured it was now part of the plan. "How about you focus on our troll friends over there dear magic knight, skirt is not what one of your status should be thinking when on the job. "She taunted with a smile.
[break][break] She couldn't stand much anyone with a heart beat. a good magic knight to her was a dead one that wouldn't get infront of her and mission objectives. Well she was suppose to be traveling to find her next mark that has been a thorn in the side of her employers side. She didn't have much of a time line other then the target needed to be ended by the end of the week. It was still the start of her week.
[break][break] She looked through his drawings, taking in every detail and information she could gain on him , his hand writing, the hand he used the detail thought process of each picture. She got all she needed as she looked forward at the trolls angry roaring at the apple for a few seconds before poking it to find it was harmless after all. She took in the information of watching them test out the apples before eating it in one go. She watched one grab a bunch near by before lifting it up to knock some more apples down at well.
[break][break] "They are like massive childern." She said to herself tilting her head. She honestly would be wanting to test her skills against the trolls. However she wasn't about to do so infront of a magic knight even if she knew it would likely make him more interested in her. She watched him scoot closer as she lift a finger pushing it against his chest lightly " Careful there, I am a lady, I just don't let anyone near me."She teased adjusting her skirt. She needed to ensure he knew she wasn't interested for more reasons then one, though keeping a magic knight as a pet might be fun but she wasn't about to open that can of worms nor was she going to need to stain her hands to having the magic knights on her case for killing one of their own as if a squad to watch for, it was the prodigies of the golden dawn. They had their own tactics and seem to grow every day in whatever they found to peak their interests. It was interesting watching and playing around the magic knights and their scope of knowledge. However she was in no position to attracting their attention.
[break][break] She slowly stood up, being careful to not bring attention to their hideaway as she dusted off her skirt , readjusting her bow holding her hair into a side ponytail as she looked around grabbing her parasol. Looking towards the trolls watching and playing with the apples they had managed to finally bring down, some deciding to play with the food by tossing them at each other like rocks while another tested it against a rock, seeming confused at its mushy mess against the surface of the rock and the missing parts of the item. She sighed silently as she was getting bored being stuck where they were. She didn't like staying still, the more she moved, the less likely anyone noticed she was around. These trolls are just that, trolls, massive and not that smart, though they are intelligent in the only way that matters, the way of their existence. If they were like us humans, we might actually have some threat of an enemy as these guys are more muscle and agile from looks. She thought to herself in observation turning towards yursir as she moved to him crouching on the balls of her feet as she lifted her book from his hands, replacing it with his own once again. [break][break] " I Do believe the hint of observation is done on my end. I can say it was fun to do this little...Outing with you. I'm Adrenna. I would say I hope to see you around again, but I am just like sylph. I go as the wind does. So Please do yourself a favor and stick to your own rivers and the lakes you are use to magic knight. You are a cutie but not my type. " She spoke sweetly deciding to ensure he understood she wasn't going to be easy to get to know or be around. Most those she met would understand she wasn't interested. She was curious if he was going to get that same hint or seem still as interested in her. If so, this was going to be troublesome.
[break][break] She adjusted her parasol over her shoulder moving away from him waving the book dismissively. "I am going to get a move on, I have somewhere I must be, have a wonderful day magic knight." She called after herself.
She made it towards town against as she found the crazed man that had been searching for people to assist with his book as she moved to him handing the book to him " Thankyou for the fun time."She said [break][break] "What of your friend?"he asked. [break][break] "He is on his ways, I have a place I must be."She said simply turning on her heels dissappearing into the crowd [break][break]

"Perhaps you're right," the young elven prince chuckled as he was mildly caught off guard by her ability to be ever so audacious with one considered of royal stature. Though he quite enjoyed such free banter for the breath of fresh air it brought as opposed to the typical reserved nature in the manner of which those of noble birth usually spoke.
He quietly observed the alluring maiden as she seemed to be enamored in the thoroughness of his work. An extracurricular observation that made him feel quite pleased that he had spent so many years learning to master the concept of perfect attention to detail from his adoptive father. Yursir wondered if his fellow artisan had also spent an enormous amount of her life mastering her craft as he had in her own youth?
Nevertheless, Yursir would soon find himself at the mercy of his own sheepishness the very second that his subtle physical advance was immediately intercepted by her mid-sentence. Her touch stimulating a feeling of shock to travel up his spine as the bashful knight didn't even bother to meet her gaze. He then immediately began to internally curse himself for being too eager at her swift rebuke.
Though he wouldn't be able to dwell on it for long as he felt one book be exchanged for another as the maiden proceeded to put emphasis on her point that he had been utterly rejected. To which Yursir could only manage a silent sigh. Well at least she said I was cute.
He would simply respond with a wave upon her announcing her leave from her now completed duty. Returning to aimlessly stare upon the horde of trolls as soon as she had exited his purview. And as he began to complete his behavioral analysis of the slow learning creatures he accepted their various random reactions to environmental stimuli as a form of consolation to merely keep him entertained long enough to distract himself from the oncoming disappointment that failure wrought.
However when he began to reflect upon their brief interaction, and once his mind had cleared enough to become focused on replaying said event a few times over to analyze where he had gone wrong in his approach to the conversation, he then suddenly began to realize that there had been a couple of inconsistencies. One being minor and perhaps could merely be chalked up to the girl's personality and her indifference to the possibility of a relationship with him. That being the fact that beyond learning his name during their initial greeting, she never actually used it, instead opting to place special emphasis on referring to him only as Magic Knight.
The second inconsistency being far more glaring as it had to do with the fact that at their first initial meeting she had introduced herself as Sayla, but upon her departure then proceeded to call herself Adrenna. Could she have subtly dropped her given name? To him that option didn't seem quite likely as she appeared to be dressed the part of a noble lady, but he knew of no noble family with the surname of Adrenna. A case of false identity? And if so then why?
He then proceeded to ponder further noting that she had seemed to be in quite a rush to leave once her portion of the task had all but been completed. Yursir then recalled that the ever more mysterious girl had also seemed to have been a bit impatient to begin even at the very onset of their temporary hire.
I wonder what she had to do that required so much urgency?
If the mistress had wished to attract less attention from a Magic Knight to herself, then it was sheer bad luck that she had run into a Knight as naturally reflective and analytically minded as Yursir Ravencrest, whom at this same moment would decide that his growing curiosity with the realized strangeness of her own behavior required its own little 'study session' in order to satiate his increasingly inquisitive thoughts.
"Well whatever her reasoning, if I hang around the area long enough, then I'm sure I'll eventually find the answer," Yursir said to himself as he handed in his now complete findings to his research obsessed benefactor, who immediately showered his thoroughness with extreme praise. Yursir, however, was only half paying attention as he thought of how to go about his newly decided venture of uncovering the secret behind the suspicious noble lady.
And once their now former mutual boss had been satisfied with his day's haul, the elven prince would assume his patrol duties as normal, though by this time he was very certain that the mistress was long gone by now as he could no longer sense her presence at all. He passed through crowds of people as he carefully pondered the details over and over in his brain attempting to make sense of her logic even though he was now essentially following a cold trail.
"Perhaps I could ask cousin Amaya if she might happen to know of anyone by those two names in any of her immediate social circles and see what comes of that?" He considered.
"And in the case that none of them know per say, then maybe they might have someone with a possible lead for me?" Yursir pondered further as his intentions began to take shape. Though any within his field might call it youthful exuberance and/or a mere trifle of a smitten royal, one thing was very clear. The Ravencrest had a gut feeling about the woman he had met today, and had enough time and willingness to pursue it wherever it led him. Though as dusk would begin to fall he would be made to think of this no longer when a horse drawn carriage was called to return him to the Ravencrest Estate. A gracious luxury afforded to him by his new family that he would begrudgingly accept, as the elven prince felt that aside from this particular interaction, and assisting a Clover denizen in his much needed work, that he had ended the day rather anti-climatically with nothing to show for his efforts… for now… We will meet again someday!
