[attr="class","ignistext"] Ignis would wake up at his normal time stretching as he woke up. His body was still a little sore from his spar with the captain. After all he did get his ass kicked pretty good not that he was expecting any less. It had been a few days since the fight so most of the pain was gone and he only had a few bruises and some people might have wanted to lay back in bed to avoid the minor pain. Ignis however couldn't and wouldn't after all he wasn't the type of person to lay around all day. Getting dressed he would head outside to do his daily training. He had taken the day off from missions today as he had a new type of training he wanted to try and hopefully it worked. The training in question was Ki. However he wasn't doing this alone in fact he was training with his sister Cinna. They had both been looking into how a person trained the skill Ignis hoped that she had better luck than he did as everyone he asked about it really didn't have any answer. Cinna on the other hand had been tasked with looking in book for the off chance there was something about it in them after all she wasn't a peoples person. Once he finished up his training and took a shower he would make his way over to her room in the golden dawn base. "Hey Cinna your up right we have the training to do today. I also hope you had better luck than I did."

Cinna woke up early, like usual. [break][break] She tended to be something of a light sleeper anyway, quickly getting ready to begin her day. Face washed, clothes on, mantle on top, it was rather boring and repetitive of a process, but one she had grown accustomed to over the few short months she had been in the squad. The Golden Dawn, she still wasn’t sure if it felt fitting that she was part of such an elite group of Knights, but she had worked hard to get there and become one of them. [break][break] All for the sake of… Ignis, her dearest elder brother. [break][break] Cinna finished brushing her hair before heading over to her desk, where many personal, organized notes lay. A small stack of books was kept neatly at the corner and she began with reviewing a bookmarked page on the skill known as Ki. Ki manipulation was not a natural talent, not was a skill that was native to the land of Clover, but instead to that of those of a Land beyond the Sea known as Hino. Yet, mastery over Ki could prove quite useful in battle, giving one the ability to sense and detect enemies without the use of sensory magic. [break][break] Ignis desired to master such a skill, so Cinna would as well. She studied up on it, researching honing techniques as well as attempting to find what she could about the mastery of itself. There were a few notable mages in clover who had such skills, one including the Captain of the Crimson Lion himself… [break][break] Cinna supposed it made sense, considering the man was a Kasai, whose home originated from Hino country. Though, maybe it was all just a coincidence. [break][break] Tapping a pen to her chin, she then looked up once she heard a knocking at her door. [break][break] "Hey Cinna…” [break][break] He spoke from the other side of the door. Cinna stood up moments afterward, then opening the door to reveal herself to her brother, a small stack of notes in her hand. [break][break] “I have researched ways to hone one’s awareness of Ki within their bodies and within other living things. It seems difficult, but not impossible.” She held out her notes to Ignis, eyes looking up to him rather blankly. [break][break] “Also, good morning, big brother.” [break][break] A light dust of pink hinted at her cheeks. She was glad to see him, not that she didn’t see him already so often. But she wanted to think that there was something special about any time they did spend together…

[attr="class","ignistext"]Ignis wasn't surprised that Cinna was already up. After all she woke up pretty early in the morning as well. Of course it wasn't for the same reason he did though she would watch him train sometimes which always confused him as the crimson haired mage felt like she could have used her time for something else or even trained with him. As Cinna opened the door and told him about what she found he would smile at her. The two of them had a strong bound while they spent quite a bit of time together it wasn't as much as he hoped they could. It of course wasn't her fault as she wasn't a people person like he was so most of the time she just spent the time studying which paid off in cases like this one. He would take the notes from her and while he was ready to get to work he had a more important matter to deal with fist. Her cheek color hadn't gone unnoticed by him and he was concerned she might be a little sick. [break][break] "Good morning I hope you got enough sleep." He would then move his free hand to her forehead while speaking once again. "Have you been feeling okay? Your cheeks have been pink a lot lately." She didn't feel like she had a fever or anything so all he could do was wait for her to actually answer the question. Once she did he would look over the notes. He didn't quite understand everything about what the notes were saying however it was enough from he to understand what Ki truly was. The fact that it was going to take a lot of contraction to actually learn the skill was a little annoying after all Ignis didn't like to sit in one place for two long. So he wasn't sure just how well he would be able to learn Ki however he wasn't going to give up before he even tried he didn't want to waste the time Cinna put into helping him find information on it."Damn it really is going to be hard I'm not sure I can sit still for that long. Once you are ready we can get started well after we find a quite place to clear our minds or whatever the hell they meant by that." [break][break] Once his younger sister gave him the word he would lead them out of the golden dawn base. It took a while of looking up after about twenty minutes he would find a place that was far enough away from people that they could practice without get interpreted by others. "Well this place looks fine unless you had another place in mind?" Assuming she was fine with the place he would sit down however he would try clearing his mind just yet. Instead he would let himself get use to the natural sound of the birds and people that sometimes walked by that way when he actually tried to practice he wouldn't get two distracted by the sounds.

Somehow, that made her feel better. She did enjoy it when he smiled and when he was happy. This time was all the better when she could deduce that it was because of something she had done. Something she had done had made him happy.
[break][break] The flush of pink of her face didn’t fade so easily. And it wouldn’t have gone unnoticed by her elder brother. [break][break]
Cinna blinked a few times with crimson red eyes, before immediately turning her face away and rather, covering the lower half of it with her free hand. All in a poor attempt to hide her blushes. It wasn’t really her fault, was it? Surely, not when Ignis had such a cute smile as that!
[break][break] Of course, then, he placed a hand on her forehead. Cinna could have fainted right then and there, but his immediate touch wasn’t all that surprising. It was familiar, rather comforting. She shook her head slightly, letting him pull away without many other words.

“Ah, I’m fine, big brother.” She said, normal color returning to her complexion. He was going over her notes, but suddenly he wasn’t as pleased as before. Cinna’s expression turned to something of a more neutral one. [break][break]
Sitting still for that long, huh? “We can do it together.” She said quietly, nodding her head once. Sitting, together, with Ignis most of the day sounded quite like an ideal way to spend her time after all. She finally closed the door to her room, adjusting her Golden Dawn mantle just slightly. “Ready.” She said.

[break] She would follow Ignis’ lead to an area outside and away from the Golden Dawn base. It was a woodsy area, near a plain field and meadow. A few spare people walked by, but otherwise, it was a nice isolated place. Cinna lifted her head, listening to the soft sound of the wind and the songs of the birds, breathing out a shorter sigh.

“This is nice.” She said to him in return, though he had already gone about sitting down on the ground. She watched him as he crossing his legs and well, focused on something. She wasn’t quite sure what he decided to focus on himself. She looked up to the clear blue sky above them, then watching a few clouds drift in the breeze. [break][break]
Cinna wasn’t so much someone who liked the outdoors or being outside, but she did enjoy the quiet itself. It was quite relaxing in her opinion, as someone who never really enjoyed large crowds or people in general. They were always just so noisy in her opinion.

Cinna looked down at Ignis before then decided to sit down as well. She sat across from him, crossing her legs and deciding to close her eyes, resting her hands on her knees and her grimoire to her side. She decided to focus on her breathing, letting the flow of air in through her nose and then out through her mouth.
[break][break] It was a meditation of a sort, she supposed.

And really, the beginnings of an attempt to feel the world around them through that enigmatic source known as ki.

[attr="class","ignistext"]As Cinna looked away it only servered to confuse the golden dawn mage even more. Had he managed to do something to piss her off. Ignis assumed this wasn't the case as he trusted his sister to open about most of her feelings even more so when it came to him annoying her or things such as not feeling well. His younger sister would assure him that she was in fact fine as her started going over her notes he would notice her neutral expression return which caused him to frown a little. After all it made it harder to tell if she was actually enjoying what they were doing. As the red haired noble found a spot for the two of them to sit down in Cinna would comment about it being nice. You think so? It's just like any other park in the capital it's just a little more silent here. [break][break] I actually thought about the two of us heading into the forest as there would be all kinds of animals to practice using Ki on but I didn't want us to get worn out before actually starting the training. Ignis would hear his younger sister take a seat in front of him but with his eyes closed he wasn't really able to see anything. After a few moments the explosion mage was able to clear his mind of thoughts now all he needed to do was figured out what he wanted to focus on. He would start off by slowing his own breathing and in turn focused on Cinna's. After a few minutes he would manage to match his breathing with the mercury mages. While the young golden dawn mage didn't like to stay sitting in one place for to long his ability to focus was a different matter. After all how could he hope to learn how to use Ki if he was unable to have extreme focus. The sun was beating down on his body causing it to heat up as he have his younger sister to spot in the shade as she burned easier than he did. Of course the cloak he worn on his back didn't help so he would unhook it putting the red gold and white cloak in his lap. [break][break] It would also sever to further show just how much work he put into his body as his back and shoulder like most of his body were also pure muscle for the most part which his skin tight half shirt didn't hide. The amount of work he put towards his body was one of the things he was the proudest of. After all he'd spent years working on building them up with his idol Silas. As the times Silas and he spent together start to fill his mind he would feel a mix of anger and sadness fill his body causing his mana to flare up which in turn broke his focus. Ignis would then punch the ground in anger not that it did much to help with the matter at hand.
