Lex entered the manor, Already, there was a bit of a commotion going on as people were running around. Apparently, the scene has already been put in place. Someone ran up to her meeting, noticing her as she walked over to the medium. Halfway a look on her face already. Wondering what was happening. As the maid ran over to Lex she panicked.
You must be the investigator, Please miss come with us immediately!
Lead the way darling.
What's one of the made up the stairs of the manor towards the manors masters office. As she walked down the hallway, she noticed three people sitting along the wall with two of the manners security guards on each end to make sure they didn't go anywhere. It was clear to her immediately that these three were the suspects of this mystery. As she walked past them, she started taking Joseph and I shall look at them who onlooked in various stages of unease and unhappiness.
The first one in the line was a butler, An old man with a green massage and balding head wearing a bonical and a black suit with white gloves. And a monocle was the stereotypical look of any definition of a Butler. He had a serious demeanor look on his face like this whole thing was a waste of his time, and the fact that he was even a suspect was ludicrous, but he also had a post that said that he would wait. Fulfill whatever questioning or request they had, as was his nature.
The next one would be a chef. He was a portly man who by the looks of it liked eating as my as he liked cooking. He wore a white sheep outfit with a white chef hat and red Necker chief around his neck. He had a black apron with cooking tools being a spatula, meat tenderizer, and a baster in the pockets. He had more of a nervous look on his face, a look of Warrior concern for the events that were happening, not quite sure of himself or why he was forced to be Here. However, nonetheless he stood there's that, or he draws the iore of the guards on each side.
The last person that was there was a younger man who looked to be a gardener. A younger man with short blonde hair and Beckles looked like he came just off a farm wearing a straw hat with a piece of hay in his mouth. Red flannel type shirt with overalls and a few burning tools in the front pocket of his overalls. Though his demeanor was more relaxed and chilled out, he didn't seem like care that you're here. In fact, he had a very nonsense law attitude about the whole thing.
The last person I've known in the hallway. Was the man's wife who was outside the door crying into a handkerchief. She was a finally interested woman who was wearing a black sparkling dress and a Fox scarf.
Around her neck. A very lavish outfit. She always stopped crying and began to sniffle as she got approached by Lex. She looked up at her wiping her tears.
Oh magic knight, thank goodness you are here, My husband is dead and I don't know what I will do now.
She said through some tears. She was holding back as she went over to the three Gentlemen, and lined up against the wall. Her Face becoming a Darker shade of red as she Starts to get even matter balling her fist. Clutching her handkerchief tighter. And she starts to growl slightly towards them. And I'm looking for attention back to Lex.
I don't know which one of those three. It was, but those three had the best chance in the most mode of two murder, my husband. I know it was one of them. I just don't know which one. That's what I need your help figuring out.
Lex more perplexed as she automatically have faced suspects. Granted, this was an event in a contest. However, it was interesting that it didn't require her to find the suspects. It required them to find the guilt… We had to be more of this mystery than what's going on. More investigating happened, however, she took a deep breath and looked down at the madam. She had a few questions. And this is when her investigation really need to begin.
Darling, Let me first ask you why you think it was these three gentlemen who did it before I go poking around the chronician and questioning them. I need to know what you know about them.
I know what's up because they all have the motive. Our house was losing money, so we need to let people go and make some cutbacks. Our garden was going to be let go, Our shop was going to get a significant pay cut and our Butler wasn't happy with either decision. Each one of them throughout today had a heated discussion with my husband and apple time to come back and kill him. They all had the means and the motive to commit the crime. And I don't know which one of them did it!
She said rather loudly, however, she would look back behind her at the three men standing against the wall and then back at the wife. She wanted to question them all, but she also wanted to take her quick. Look around the crime scene. Perhaps I would give her some insight before there talks. As she walked into the office, she looked around. And for the most part, it seemed above board. There's my one way and I small window in the back. She went over to the desk. She looked down at the desk. Seeing many foreclosure paper is bankruptcy papers, life insurance policies, and other matters of that nature. She shuffled them around slightly. In the glass, there was a clear looking alcohol, she would guess vodka…though it looked murky. She walked to the glass dipping a finger into the glass. She pulls it out taking a taste. It tasted wrong…there was a poison I, or so she thought. There was no way to tell without an actual ship, however, she was pretty confident that was the case. She would need to inquire about that to the suspects. She understood all the papers on the desk, though as she was examining the alcohol were very recent as well. All dated to have come in within the last week. She made note of all these facts before turning her attention to Investigate the body now.
The body was a mess to say. At least there were multiple wounds on him. As he slumped back is chair dead. A better question to ask about this person was what didn't kill him. There was many things about an initial scan investigation of the man that did kill him. There was to be a pair of clippers lodged in his upper chest. Just offset, throw left a wound that on its own would not be fatal, but if left to bleed infester, it would certainly kill on a short amount of time. Upon walking around him, there was a rather large bump on the back of his head, someone had knocked him in the head with something rather heavy, and the concussion could have easily killed him. Last there was foam from his mouth implying that a poison had done him in. She only assumed that was probably the actual culprit. But it didn't add up with what she noticed about the glass earlier. She would have to look into this more in a moment, but now she won't just get her in so thoughts. And already. She heard a summer idea forming, but not every piece was adding up. She then moved her attention away from the body. Having done a brief investigation of it, She turned her attention to the desk. Shuffling around some papers and other small things. Finding a Hey, sleeve it and letters and notes among the stacks of bills and policies. But for now, she didn't say anything too relevant at the moment. She then turned to the door and went to question each of the suspects. Perhaps their insight and motivation would give more light on the mystery.
She walked out into a hallway. Seeing the three men still standing there, and a girl. She decided to go start down from the front and walk her way down-the-line. She gestured four of the guards and the butler to come down the hallway a little bit with her so she could start questioning them. She led them into a room that looked to be a study, It would do for an interrogation room for now. The guard would stand at the door as the butler Took seat one on the chairs, Lex sat across from him.. She examined him as he looked very professional. All things considered minus affected. He had a annoyed look on his face. Though it wasn't an annoyed look. As if we needed to get this oath, it was annoyed. Look as if he had work to be doing. She could understand an empathized with that a little bit, Lex began her questioning.
Thank you for talking with me, I'll keep this brief into the point I have a few questions for you. One of which being I was told you had an argument with your employer before his untimely end, would you ease tell me your version.
Of course miss, I was bringing the master a drink. As he seems stressed about the impending bills and debt that he was awing. And as we began to talk, he talked about laying off employees and lowering their wages. I'm a man who cares about Those under him and the truth be told. I already knew this was hearing out loud. Angered me but I didn't murder him. We had a nit of a heated argument that I left.
Would that happen to be the glass I was sitting on his desk that you brought him?
Yes miss it was.
Very well, you can gid go now I have what I need from you.
With that, he stood up, turn and walked away the guard escorting the mouth. She asked him to bring the next one in the guard nodded. The next one was the chef. He would be ringing his Necker chief. The man looked very worried and concerned as he sat across from her. She just sat there for a minute. Letting him get slightly composed before she began speaking.
Hello darling, Please try calm down. I need to know what happened when you talked to your employer. It's very important that I get all the information I can.
I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO IT OKAY!
Lex Looked surprised as he blurted out a seemingly confession out of nowhere.
You didn't mean to do what darling…
The master of the house was setting to reduce my pay by nearly seventy percent. I have a family the feed children to take care of and we started arguing… Things became black and next thing. I knew why hitting my meat tenderizer in the head. And then after that, I was just running. And the guards caught me and brought me to lineup…I killed him.
Lex Was caught off guard by this information to say the least. Especially when he produced a meat mallet from his aprons put it on the table. Was this mystery really that cotton dry comma was this answer really that easy. She didn't believe it. There might be more to this case even if he was the culprit that hadn't just walked in and met. There's something more going on or he was racked with guilt. She thought for a moment before giving a small nod.
Thank you you may return for a line up now. I'll have the guard bring in the last one for questioning.
But I just confessed what more questioning do you need…
Darling, I just want to get all the information I can.
She said what a smile, but for some reason that made the chef even more nervous as he was led out of the room by the last one to be brought in was the gardener who seemed to have a look of ease on his face. She examined the kid for a moment before giving a nod. And just straight to the seat.
Hello darling can you please tell me what your version of what happened is?
Yes someone off the old man damn shame what happened.
And you know nothing about that darling?
Nope.
Darling forgive me but can you tell me why a pair of garden sheers is plunged Into him.
Dunno, just cause I'm the gardener doesn't mean I did anything to the old man.
I didn't say you did anything darling…though I think I can make my own assumptions from here since your not going to be very helpful thank you darling.
Wait you can't just assume shit!
I can do whatever I desire darling now you can go~
The man moved out of a jet her as the guard went over, picked him up and moved him away. It was almost also too obvious to be him. All fear for suspects seemed to be quite obvious to the Butler. Bringing in the poison, the chef actually admitting it in this guy's carefree attitude. Whether he died or not, all of them screamed that they had motivated means to do it. She need to check something. It couldn't be this obvious, could it. She quickly got up and started going over.
To to the room where he died again? She had to be missing something some piece. That put all the puzzle together. Why there was so many obvious suspects. She walked past the moon not even acknowledging them she went back into the room.
She started doing something she didn't do before and searching around the desk. There was nothing on it and harmed or on his person. Has she gotten her hands and knees and started searching around She felt something under the desk a bottle. And then she pulled it out and examined it. She instantly was able to put most of the pieces together, and she had a pretty good idea of what happened. It was a small medicine bottle from the looks of it with a cork lying next to it. As she poured it out and examined it. She held it as she left the room. They had to make her deduction clear and ready to solve the case of who killed the owner of the manner.
Alright, darling's, we'll set up all of you. Because I know exactly who did this crime. All three of you had the means to pull off this crime. Was it the disgruntled Butler who was upset by the treatment of his fellow employees, so he decided to try to poison the owner of the manner. Was it the description of chef who hit him in the back of head with the mint tenderizing mallet. Or was it the arrogant gardener who stabbed him with a pair of gardening shears-
I never stabbed the-
You will be silent when nobility us speaking or ill make you be silent darling. No, as I was saying it would be easy for any of you to have done it and while I would like some of you to have done it more than others, I have come to a conclusion that none of you are the culprits behind this case. The three of you are indeed innocent despite your best efforts to do him in.
But if they didn't kill my husband who did…
The real culprit of the case was the victim himself. He took his own life in order to cash out the life Insurance policy. So we can keep this manner in. It's employed long enough to find a solution. Long enough to give you a chance of life, ma'am… Or so that is my assumption, there's no way to know because he didn't leave a note. But it is my best conclusion that he ended up killing himself. Just for the life Insurance policy.
Silence overtook the room as no one made a single sound. She was unsure of her deduction was right until the butt was started clapping. Then the chef, then the garter and then the wife. As they broke character to congratulate her on her deductive reasoning and getting the right conclusion. She gave a small smile to them as she was glad that she found the right conclusion to the murder mystery. There were just too many suspicions for any of them she almost went to conclusion. It was the wife, but there was no evidence to point to that she could only conclude. There had to be something more to make the three suspicious people. Exactly what they're meant to be bad hearings for someone to have just gotten the participation prize of the event. But not at the mystery has been solved and the event was over it was time to go. She decided it was time for her to go onto the next event. Maybe something now a little more tame would be nice for her. Perhaps she would just go and enjoy a bit of. Trick or Treating Something that could be relaxing and she could go do something. She'd rather enjoy doing people watching, though getting some treats along the way never hurt anyone. With that, she's bid farewell to the actors as they got ready for the next group of people to come in and try their murder, mystery house and one off to go start her trick or treating tonight, A nice way to wrap up a good first event of the evening.
