With Belle having been approached by a few different magic knights, much as that Artemis girl had predicted, Belle finally figured that 'fuck it' moment had come. Where she was going to do it, if only because it meant that she wouldn't have people constantly nagging at her for it. But that also, this whole citizen life was fun, but she genuinely didn't know what to do. There was the green mantis side, who would probably go along with her destructive personality more, but there would be a certain charm to being in the same squad as Rosa.
But those were thoughts for the near future, for today, she just had the whispers in the back of her head, her spirit resting on her shoulder, and the sunrise that she was going to watch. As she would crawl out of his bed, the first thing she would do is go back to her room and shower, before getting changed into her workout clothes and heading out to a nearby field. It seemed like a decent enough spot to start, as she would remember her training with that Sidar kid, she wondered how he and his dad was doing. Wondering if they were still doing well and wishing them the best, before her spirit would disappear back into her mana and she would start doing her pushups.
Fell had recently made his way into the forsaken region for the first time in his life so far, having no recollection of his original home there was a possibility he had been born here but in the end, his home was the only place he had ever been until becoming a knight. Since then all he had really done was travel around the noble cities and through the common realm. But now he was in his first forsaken city, Sosshi. From what he understood the town had a history of burning, but that was pretty much all Fell found out before making his way into the city. Of course, he had been warned that the forsaken region itself was not like the noble region and hosted many more thieves and miscreants than the region he had recently taken up residence.
But in the end, Fell’s goal in life was to grow, and that meant he needed to learn everything he could about the world. For Fell there was no better experience than first hand, that was what led him to the town in the first place. Passing through a field Fell laid eyes on someone though, it seemed she was busy with some sort of workout. She looked strong, the pushups she seemed to be doing were with relative ease and fluidity. Fell looked at his own arms, squeezing them he felt the bone and flesh and the lack of any defining muscle. Growing was not only knowledge, nor magical strength. Fell needed to grow physically too, maybe this girl was his chance to learn finally. Fell approached the girl in the midst of her workout and spoke in a relatively soft tone, trying to be nice and hopefully friendly.
“Hey, I noticed you were working out. I'm in quite the need of a workout, I could use a lesson or even a guide if you wouldn't mind. Could I join you?” Fell asked as he scratched the back of his head, his Crimson Lions cloak moving to the side as his arm went up.

Belle had become used to nearly every mana signature in Sosshi by this point. There were some travelers sure, but there weren't enough that they often came out to the fields. Normally, those travelers stayed in the town. So as an unfamiliar mana signature was making its way through towards the fields, she at first figured it must have just been some form of farm hand, or else someone that was just travelling out towards places unknown, otherwise known as the forsaken region. Especially when you come as far out as Sosshi, if you're heading this way, that's normally the reason why at least.
And yet, as the mana signature continued to grow stronger and stronger, Belle became increasingly aware that it seemed to not be heading towards the quickest path out of town, rather, it seemed to be heading more in her general direction. Odd, but not so odd that she would have considered someone actually coming up and talking to her. However, it seemed her and this person approaching had two entirely different ideas on what was about to happen. Because as Belle was in the middle of her workout, he would approach her, and she would stop her workout to turn and listen to him. As he would just go into his quick explanation, that he was actually needing a lesson or guide in working out, and wondering if he could join. Which vaguely reminded her of what she had gone through so long ago. "Oh sure, I mean, that could definitely be done. How physically fit would you say you are?" She would ask as she would start looking him over, and although she didn't look it, she was actually rather fit. Looking him over and seeing that he had more bone than meat, she would just internally sigh. He definitely wasn't going to be able to handle her own physical workout, but she would also have a question for him. "Most people tend to just train their magic, what makes you want to train your body? Think it will help in the upcoming exams?" She would ask, clearly referencing the upcoming magic knight exams.
Fell wandered what the girl thought of him as she clearly looked him up and down, in reality he was rather lackluster physically. He had never really worked out, the only effort he even put into his muscles was helping his mother around the house back home. Fell did wonder if there would be any magical benefits to becoming bigger in size though, a bigger body meant more shadow to be produced, but in the end it would be such a minuscule benefit he doubted it’d matter. Nonetheless it wasn't about magic for him, Fell was a rather un-intimidating person. More so he was rather easily intimidated, maybe feeling more confident in his body would help this, he didn't like feeling intimidated and in the hopes becoming stronger may help that feeling, he was ready to try.
“If we are talking about a scale of one to ten id say maybe a 5 in cardio and a 2 in strength...I am pretty flexible though. But I just, don't like feeling small and frail, I wanna feel more confident.” In all honesty Fell wasn't entirely sure how he had become flexible, but he had realized it throughout his travels and while training his magic. He wondered if it was sort of just an attachment of being able to manipulate shadows in every which way, but at the same time he did always sit in really awkward ways when he was reading. Pretty much the only thing he had ever done at home. “I actually am already a magic knight” Fell would say, grabbing his cloak and tugging on it a little to show “I wouldn't say I am exactly a strong one, but I made it through. I like to think it is because I am interesting.” Fell remembered the exam himself, he missed it, since then he had not really done too much with his magic. The spar at the end of the exam was the only time he had ever even fought with magic outside of training.
Now the boy just wanted to gain muscle though, tired of being a wimp he would like to imagine he could get his magic and physical body on the same plane, maybe this girl would be the possibility he needed. “So what do you think we should do first, pushups, run a lot, sit ups, am I even teachable.” The boy said with a slight chuckle.
Fell grew tired of the workout, he felt stronger though which was nice. The boy had never really been one to workout much, but ever since becoming a knight he knew he needed to, and finally doing it actually felt...good. Fell thought that maybe he needed to workout more often to strengthen his body. But it wasnt only that, having a fit body was nice and all but working out just felt good. It was hard work but it kept ur mind strong as well and made sure your body was healthy and in the end just made for a happier life time. At least Fell assumed, it seemed that way.
Fell was happy that in the end he was finding passion in a thing such as working out, he knew how helpful it would grow to become as he grew into knighthood. The boy was grateful that he had taken the charge to approach the girl ninja who helped him learn how to train. Now that he was given the tools all he needed to do was make sure he stuck to the actual working out and endured any sort of pain working out ever caused. Ensure that it actually became a part of his life.
After all, Fell didn't have much fighting experience either at this time. And it was better to learn his body through working out before hand and have that sort of understanding of how his body works, before he started training or even taking on missions that might include him risking his very own life.
