It was a good day to go out and explore the kingdom. Yuurei being the man he was decided that he would take a day away from the base. He didn’t have to worry about anything as the missions that had been brought to the base had been given out to the selected Eagles. Kouhei allowed him to go on his own, which was a good thing, but Sekai, on the other hand, wouldn’t allow him to breathe. She was following him no matter what, and when he tried to escape her grasp he couldn’t. He figured this was why Kouhei allowed him to leave because he had Sekai with him. When he used his ring to the portal to the common region she jumped in with him. His venture would bring him to a certain town within the kingdom.
He had headed towards Kiten and it was to see what lies beyond the kingdom of Clover. His arrival in the town would bring attention to himself. The villager’s eyes would move towards his location and they would whisper in his arrival. Sekai would just ignore them as her eyes were focused on her captain wondering why he had even come here in the first place. There were many places they could have gone, but he chose this location.
Yuurei would smile at everyone that eye contact with him and he would wave at them as they knew he was a Silver Eagle. Sekai didn’t like how things were quiet here and she finally spoke up.
“Why are we even here Yuurei-sama?” She asked him as they kept moving.
“Well I have business to attend to here. But besides that, I wanted to get on top of the wall and look at the view of the Diamond Kingdom from here.” He said to her with a smile on his face.
She was confused about that, so she decided to speak up again.
“Why do you even want to look at the Diamond Kingdom? Plan on leaving us?” She asked him.
“Me, leave? Nah I just think there is beauty all over the world, and I wanted to see the beauty that is within that kingdom from here.” He said this as he kept walking towards his destination.
Still, their movements were towards the walls of the city and while they kept walking, people would move away as they were nervous that they had come here to do something bad. They knew the knights were there to protect them, but with everything that had happened in the past, they couldn’t help it but fear visitors.
"I'm glad the people in this town are doing well. I don't think the knights come this far into the region, which I dislike, to be honest. I will probably have some of the Silver Eagles come here to make sure that nothing happens to the people of Kiten." He said to Sekai.
She figured that he would say something like that, but she was fine with it. The girl would follow Yuurei having her eyes continue to scan the area and make sure nobody could get the jump on him.

There was another person up on the wall in Kiten. Sitting on the very edge she was, legs dangling off of the end while she looked on at the Diamond Kingdom with a book in her lap, not a grimoire, that was on her side on the parapet. She had a sketchbook in her lap. But that, however, was not what stood out. It was those eyes, deep pools of teal-colored irises, and flecks of magenta scattered in them. Long flowing pink hair tied into two elegant tails strewn out behind her. Two hats are worn on her head, yes, two, and one extra thick scarf wrapped about her neck and mouth. She looked bulky, much bulkier than any common mage of the land.
Closer inspection would reveal that bulk to be cloth, a bunch of cloth at that. She seemed to be wearing regular clothes, but two layers of arctic preparation gear over it. What would possess anyone to wear such an ensemble out in the open in this blistering heat of all things? Of course, if she was from the heart of a volcano, or Salamander the spirit given human form, sure, it would be understandable that this person would dress like this.
But seeing how she was neither, it warranted investigation. Though the moment anyone approached her, she would freeze up, and jump up to her feet. Kipping up and making a blitz away to several other parapets, acrobatically leaping and flipping along the way before she maintained a specific distance from Yuurei and Sekai. She looked panicked, scared even. Was she a spy? No, she was not, she didn't have the strength to warrant that concern, anyone could feel it. Not to mention, if she were a spy she would not be looking out on to the kingdom she had come from.
"I, eep. I..." She struggled as if trying to find the courage to even speak up to the people before her. Willow Omens, the second-born daughter of the chief of New Haven was a socially awkward, anxious, and agoraphobic headcase. Poking her mitten-wearing hands together, she looked at the duo that had come to the wall as well. "I, I am having sorrow...For, having been causing a scenic view. I, do have hopes that I am disturbing naught a person." She spoke weird, and seemed like she was about to have a panic attack just from trying to form the words for the conversation!
Well, she was from a place where they spoke a different language, which was in the Forsaken Region, mind you, but, she spent so much time there with her native language that she did not practice the common tongue too often.

Yuurei and Sekai’s movements would bring them to the wall of Kiten and when they got on top of the place, it would seem that they were not the only ones here. He didn’t expect there to be, but he could see that this person was overly dressed. His eyes looked around the area to see if there was something off with the weather, but it seemed fine to him. The noble figured it was probably due to the fact that he lived in the mountains growing up, so the weather didn’t bother him. Sekai didn’t like that there was someone here especially from her eyes that it was a girl. Yuurei would get closer and when he got close enough, he was going to speak up, but notice that the girl noticed that she wasn’t alone anymore.
He flinched a bit as he was getting ready for anything as he saw the girl jump away from the two of them. It seemed like she was on guard, or maybe nervous of their sudden appearance. Her movements were swift as if it was similar to the location of people he had met before. A slight headache struck him, but he would shake it off as he had been having them lately. When the girl had stopped moving she didn’t make sense in her words. Sekai pouted at the girl as she could see the girl’s movement and wondered what she was doing or if she was going to speak to Yuurei or not.
When she finally spoke her words were hard to understand. Sekai didn’t even bother trying to understand, but Yuurei thought about her choice of words before he came to a conclusion on what she had said to him.
“Don’t worry you didn’t cause any trouble. I came here to see the view of the kingdom in front of as well. It’s a beauty if I say so myself. Well, at least a different beauty than Clover’s at least.” He said with a smile on his face as he looked at her.
“Not used to the weather around the kingdom? Um…” He didn’t get her name, so he rubbed the back of his head.
He spoke to her as if he knew her, and was somewhat comfortable with this person.
“Sorry for being rude. My name is Yuurei Krane, and this right here is Sekai Krane.” He said to the overdressed person.
Sekai would wave at her, but it wouldn’t last long as she would just watch this woman’s movement. Yuurei would just jump on the ledge for a second and he would take a seat without hesitation. He did notice the book she had in her hand.
“Were you drawing by the way?” He had asked her as he saw a book similar to Hanamis'.

When she had knocked over some of her supplies there were spilled over cups, each pouring out what looked like brown liquids and little brushes. Next to them was a set of little different bags, like satchels, one tipped over and letting out...coffee beans? She was doing watercolors in coffee as a medium? Talk about invoking different senses with art. When inquired if she was doing art, she nervously came closer, stepping over the different parapets as she hopped and skipped, making her way back over to Yuurei and Sekai, ever so cautiously, she opened her book and showed them. She had painted the landscape from the view of the bridge in different shades of coffee. "I, I like to do map work, and landscapes."
She spoke meekly, with a stutter in every syllable she tried to choose as if she were terrified to speak up to the magic knight captain and his protege. When he mentioned his name she bent at the waist and lurched forward, gripping on to her forehead with a pained expression, eyes going to a tight constricted fine point for but a moment as she looked up at them, sweat beading on her brow already. Coughing and clearing her throat, she straightened up, "I! I DON'TY KNOW WHAT CAME OVER ME! I AM SORRY!" She blurted out while pressing a hand to her ear as if something was screaming at her to remember something she had no business recalling.
"My name is Willow. Willow Omens. I," She paused, looking for the words to speak as she stared out at the crag-laden landscape of the mountainous reach of the Diamond Kingdom, "I like to come here from time to time, I've also drawn a bit of Heart and Spade. I like to paint with coffee, it's smell and texture that grounds add to the brush make the paintings feel more like they are popping out."

It wouldn’t take long, but she would approach them even if it looked she was afraid of them. It didn’t seem like she wasn’t open with the idea of showing her work, which was a good thing. When he saw her opening her book, he would look at the page of her fresh painting. Yuurei’s eyes widen as he was amazed by the painting that was in front of him and the inventiveness of this person. It seemed that they were a lot of painters becoming wizards from what he could see. His eyes sparkled as he would look at the scenery that was in front of him and then back to the painting as he was comparing the two and seeing how different, yet similar they were. Sekai would look as well as she would nod and give the credit to the girl.
She was indeed a painter and that meant she wasn’t doing anything weird. Well, Sekai thought she was weird though as the girl wore all these extra clothes. Still, something happened to the young woman and Yuurei could see if as she was in pain right now. He went to step forward to see if she was okay, which brought Sekai to pout a bit as she didn’t want him touching another girl even though she knew of his new reputation as of lately.
It wouldn’t take long, but she would seem to be fine and soon enough she would introduce herself. Yuurei would smile at her as the name sounded rather familiar. He would hear speak for a bit, but that was when it happened. A wave of memories smacked on the right side of his head.
Yuurei would grab the right side of his face with his right hand as he would get on one knee. Sekai would see this and her eyes would widen when she saw that something had been bothering Yuurei. She would look at Willow as she had introduced herself and wondered if her painting had something to do with this.
She would step forward as she looked at Willow with anger in her face.
“Did you do this to my lord?!” She spoke angrily at Willow, but at the same would step back as she would move herself to Yuurei to see if he was fine.
Yuurei had a bunch of memories coming towards him. Willow Omens, he knew of that man and their time together. The memory of the adventure within the dungeon was with him. It was close to the beginning of when he got his grimoire. Yuurei had been with the man side by side in a war against the Diamond Kingdom after he had trained his heart out to become his equal. Then there was the visit to his village with all of his people and even to the captain's meeting. Still, his eyes turned to the Willow in front of him, confused onto why she had the same name.
“It’s okay Sekai. I don’t think she directly did this to me.” He said in pain as he forced himself up to his feet as he would look at her.
“How could you have his name? The Willow I know has the same name as you and comes from a race of people who take their scars as a proof of their growth. He was a friend of mine, but now that I remember he isn’t even the captain of the Azure Deer, which he was. Did this happened because of the daemons?” He asked that part to himself mainly as he was confused with what was happening right now
“I’m sorry if I’m coming onto you this hard. I just got caught by surprise.” He said to Willow as he would shake his head and he would smile at her.
Sekai didn’t like what had happened, but she would hope that Yuurei would explain more when they were alone.

She nervously smiled at the admiration of her craft. Looking away while her face had slowly turned a shade of pink, setting her book down to give the proper introductions thereafter. Shortly after that, she and Yuurei were both assailed by latent memories, migraines of a fleeting nature racking Willow's head for but a moment's notice, only to pass as quickly as it set upon her. She did leap backward, frightened to the extreme, by Sekai's aggressive accusation. "Eek! I, I'm sorry I am not having knowledge of bing doing anything!"
Thankfully Yuurei defended her a bit, only to start asking the real questions to find the hard facts about what was going on here."I, I am being the only WIllow Omens that I am knowing. There...you are the second person to be asking if I am being me. My father, Jaokbi Jevel Hensepyth, he, he was being asked if he was me." She stuttered out through the winces of minor pain that remained on her face and in her head. Quickly trying to right herself, she took in a deep breath.
Daemons? That rang bells, but, they weren't the right bells. She just tilted her head, those pools of teal flecked with little sparks of magenta looking on at Yuurei and Sekai, as if she was as clueless as they were, which was not true at all. She was more clueless than those two, this was a different Willow, but very much the same. She couldn't put her finger on it, but there was just something she couldn't shake that remained.

Sekai would hear the young girl’s words, and it seemed like she was not used to the language that was spoken in the Clover Kingdom. It seemed like a lot of people nowadays had come from outside of the kingdom, but what was their purpose behind that. She didn’t know, but it seemed like she didn’t have to worry about this woman right now. The noble would listen to the young girl as she spoke about her father and everything. She was definitely Willow, or at least an alternate version of him, which meant that a lot of people could have changed as well. He wasn’t sure what to believe anymore, but could some of the people he called friends be his enemy now?
One thing was for certain and it was that people who didn’t come into contact with daemons before the shattered had gotten things done to them. He would listen to her and he would understand that she might have some of the memories that had come from the old Willow. He understood her reaction and the headache that she had gotten.
“It’s okay Willow, I can see you aren’t the Willow I know, but for some reason, I feel as if you could have been him. It seemed that things had changed within the world we live in and not everybody knows that.” He said to her.
The noble would move towards the edge that Willow was sitting on before, and he would jump on it without hesitation. He would look towards that area and he could see the beauty that was within the Diamond Kingdom. He would take a seat right then and there as his feet would be dangling around.
“It seems like I lost a friend, but gain a new one. It bothers, but I don’t know where the other Willow is. What I do know is that I did come to see the scenery of this place. It felt like it was just yesterday that this kingdom fought against the Diamond Kingdom. Now we are here trying our best to recover when daemons start to show up and start trouble within our kingdom.” He said this out loud.
Sekai would hear this as she didn’t participate in the war as she was too young at that time. She would move towards Yuurei and she would lean on the edge as she would look at the horizon in front of them. She was silent as she was making sure she didn’t miss any actions coming from Willow.
“What kind of magic do you use Willow? Also, where are you from?” He asked her curious to hear about her.

She, she wasn't the one. She wasn't Willow, the Willow he knew? Placing a hand against her forehead, she mulled over the thoughts in her head, attempting to rationalize what it all meant. Maybe the dreams she had were a proper explanation, though she could never recall them as vividly as when she had them in the dreamscape if only she had dream magic rather than water! She was one of the many people in this shattered timeline that had no clue about the shattering, one of the few that had been a part of the previous timeline, and even fewer, she was one of the ones that had the luck to be changed. She was a one of a kind, only one Willow Omens in all of the world, and she was he, he was she. They were the same person, just different, with latent buried memories, along with the fragments of two others inside of her, though even she hadn't a clue about those two yet.
She was very cautious of the noble captain's tagalong, Sekai, and as Yuurei went to sit down on the parapet overlooking the expanse of the Diamond Kingdom, Willow would move over, sitting near him, two parapets over. This was close sitting to her, she sat close enough that she was comfortable with. “It seems like I lost a friend, but gain a new one. It bothers, but I don’t know where the other Willow is." That hit hard, for some reason or another. She felt the strings of her heart tugged upon when he spoke with such a melancholic line.
"I, I am not having the knowledge of where your friend is, I am being the only Willow that I have known." Whilst she tried to convey this, somewhere in the back of her spirit, part of her remembered and wanted to shout out to him, that he was right here, next to his friend. Though she was just a bit different than he recalled, he just had to delve in to the breadth of finding that out. It may cause pain, but was it worth it?
Moving back to what the important thing was, the art. No, not the art, the question is about her magic, about her hometown? "Water magic. Though I tend to be very dancy when I cast my spells, I move as the fluid of my magic does. I am coming from a town called New Haven, it has been a part of the Forsaken Region for nearly thirty years now, you should visit.

Yuurei would look into the beautiful scenery while Sekai would do the same after a bit. It seemed like this girl couldn’t harm her captain even if she wanted to. She didn’t see Willow as competition for Yuurei’s heart either for the moment at least, so she left her alone. They had come here to enjoy this scene right in front of them and she wasn’t going to let an extra person ruin that. The noble would hear her words and he was going to have to accept that for the time being. Of course, he didn’t think about giving up as he hoped to be able to at least find Willow wherever he was, or at least bring back some memories from the old Willow onto the new one.
While he would look at everything he wanted to see, he thought about how the kingdom of diamond was like. It would have been nice to have been able to go visit, but their hatred for them was too much. Still, it was funny how one of the Ex-Shining General was now the advisor for the Wizard King. He had put too much trust in the man that he had allowed to live. The wind mage hoped that he didn’t make a mistake in allowing him to live three years ago. His head would snap when she spoke about her magic and he enjoyed hearing that she flowed just like her magic did in combat. That was when she told him about the town she came from. His eyes widen as he was surprised that at least that town was still there.
The only difference between the one he had known about and the one that she spoke about was that it had been there for thirty years now.
“New Haven you say. I been there or at least my version of it before. It was about three years ago, and that New Haven had recently been created. Willow or I guess I should say you were the head of New Haven.” He said to her with a smile on his face.
“Do your people still play that game where you put a mask on to limit your magic and it also indicates your position within the field? Throwing around that heavy, yet strong ball around was amazing to see. I was supposed to participate in a tournament, but life had stopped me from being able to.” He paused for a second.
“Still, I would be glad to go see this New Haven and possibly enjoy my time there. I use to live in the mountains at the ends of the Noble Region. I’m the head of my family and I got to say it is a lot of work.” He said to her with a smile on his face.
He wondered how she would react to him knowing about the sport that they only played within New Haven. Yuurei wondered if he should invite her to be one of the Silver Eagles and help her become stronger and also help her with anything that she needed. There was a feeling that there was more to her than what he could see and he wanted to know more.

"Oh yes, New Haven is so very large, much larger than when it started. When it was first planted, it housed forty people, and over the past generation, we have managed to become a big town of hundreds of people, some I still do not know the names of!" She perked up, a bit embarrassed that she still didn't know the name of some people in her village, but did she really have to go to all of the trouble just to know everyone in her town?
No, no she did not, but she still made it a point, as she rarely ever left her town. It was one of those slight agoraphobic ticks she had. With all of the time she whittled away in New Haven, she had nothing but the time on her hands to get to know everyone well and dandy.
When Yuurei asked about the sport, she leaned over eyes sparkling, flecks of magenta gleaming with glee at the thought of gushing over the sport, the dance-like sport that had come to be known as Pyreball. "Oh yes! Pyreball is played outside in the other towns around New Haven now, it is catching on with many people! Everyone seems to be enjoying the sport and getting new powers or limiting themselves."
When he mentioned coming to New Haven, she seemed a bit more forlorn, looking out to Diamond thereafter. "As a visitor? Or as someone of the magic knights coming to check on the town as you normally do?" She spoke with some sort of scorn in her voice as if she was off-put by the fact that the knights would routinely come to the village.
It was a hassle, to say the least, to feel that people of the nation they had sought refuge in to still view them with an eye of scrutiny, after all of these years still, they were sometimes thought of as savages.
Post by Yuurei Krane on Jun 14, 2020 13:37:26 GMT -5
Yuurei would hear her words and he would be happy that the place was prospering just find. It seemed like she was excited about the sport and that he knew about it. The tone in her voice would bring a smile to his face as it seemed like their village was no longer the only place with the sport. That was good to hear, but the next thing she said made him chuckle a bit. He would rub the back of his head hearing those words, and he honestly wanted to mess around with her.
“Maybe I should go there to check up on the place like a Magic Knight. It would be a harsh checkup if that were the case.” He looked at her firmly, but then chuckled a bit.
“I’m kidding. I was going to go visit New Haven as a visitor. I don’t think you guys as bad people or people who would do something that would harm the kingdom. So, I wouldn’t do the checkup even if I was asked to do it personally.” He paused for a second.
“Plus, I’m a captain, if I go over to New Haven it wouldn’t be there for business purposes.” He said to Willow as he looked at the Diamond Kingdom’s landscape from his view.
It was still a beautiful sight, but he thought about how she spoke about Magic Knights and wondered how she truly felt about them now.
“Willow, do you not like Magic Knights? I’m sorry if any of us caused you and village any trouble, but we are all different in our way.” He said to her as he looked at her when he asked this question to see her reaction.
Sekai heard their conversation going and she would only feel awkward in this, but at the same time, she was going to make sure nothing happened to Yuurei. She was also making sure that this girl wouldn’t make a move on her Captain either. That wouldn’t be happening while she was around and that was for sure. Still, she wondered how this girl felt about Magic Knights and it was because of the question she asked Yuurei before things got quiet.

She turned her head to him the moment he was making a comment about a routine visit, an inspection. Her cheeks were puffed up with air as her gaze met his own. The guise of shyness melting away, she looked a bit hurt, if not a little miffed. Though her eyes blinked several times when he claimed he was joking. Turning her eyes back out to the landscape before her, she was pouting now. as if being joked about was more than enough for her.
"I am not having hate for magic knights, no. I am simply having issue with the assuming of being a savage." She said that word with such venom as if it hurt to utter it. The pained look on her face as she let the word slip from her lips, it was clear that it was something of a derogatory term somehow, in her eyes.
There was a long-standing issue with The Knights and New Haven, being foreigners, and foreigners with their own town at that, they were looked upon without favor, topping that off, they often dealt with being thought of as just savage people with their culture of connecting to nature.
"I am having the pleasure, knowing that you are wishing to visit my town. For now, I should be getting the back to it." She had a lot to process, and as she stood up, she put a hand to her head. Flashes of memories causing a headache, all these conflicting thoughts, the comment about being a man from another timeline? Willow needed a bit to herself, and it seemed she was looking to excuse herself, at least for now. "I, would be enjoying to give hosting to you and your kin should you visit. There are apples in season, waiting to be spiced and roasted." She smiled, before taking the chance to scurry off, back to her tree-house.
