Xero gave a soft sigh as he stepped through the town of Kiten. In his right hand a single loaf of bread a few bites taken out of it as the boy gave a grave look. "I'm... broke" Xero admitted to himself with a huff. 'I still have around a thousand yul let though' Xero thought to himself looking towards the blade around his hip "Well I could try selling my sword" Xero mumbled before gritting his teeth with a irritated look. 'That wont work either. If I try something so risky now I might just end up dead' Xero thought with another sigh. Slowly reaching up his hand as he took a bite from the bread i his hand. 'Guess I'll have to look for some legal jobs then right?' Xero thought to himself remembering how his parents typically told him how to make a bit of coin. [break][break] Xero's pace was decent in momentum as he made his way towards the districts local market. 'If it's a market then there's bound to be some type of work' Xero thought to himself as his odd style seemed to draw the eyes of people he passed. The young black haired boy thought nothing of their stares as he passed them by, except some notable fellows with some kind of mantle donning their shoulders, and soon Xero remembered what his mothers teaching were. [break][break] Xero looked a bit confused as if completely dumbfounded as the men in mantles just passed him by. His black eyes looking towards the supposed 'knights' even as they passed until finally the explosion mage fully and it was clear they didn't bother with him. 'That's weird' Xero thought to himself with a hum 'Mother always said that squad knights oppressed others' Xero thought again as he paced along. A bit deeper in thought than he once assumed as he finally came to at the center of the market. As Xero finally made it to the center of the market his eyes seemed curious at all the things scattered about the older stalls. "I've never been to one of these before. How do I even start to get work?" The black haired mage questioned himself as he stood with a bit of a suspicious look to him his eyes constantly gazing at different items on the market stalls, even causing the stall owners to give him a glance or two.

Making their way through the merchant town of Kiten were a trio of men and one girl. The men were trying to catch up to this girl, with long pink-colored hair. Shouting things like 'wait up please' 'do not get too far ahead of us' 'it is not as bad as you make it'! Why were they shouting this at the girl who made a b-line through the mercantile quarter of the economic booming town? Well, she was dressed up in many layers of clothing for one, two knit caps over her hair and a scarf tightly wrapped about her face, it only left those pools of teal flecked with magenta in view, allowing anyone to see her captivating eyes.
Several layers of upper wair and a sarong wrapped about a pair of pants, along with two pairs of socks and thick shoes? What in the world was this girl so dressed up for in this heat? And how was she so much faster than three men with broader physique and more muscle than any mage had any right to have? They were her guardians, they had to keep an eye on her non-stop, they needed to be by her side, but they were falling behind. Eventually, this girl managed to get away from the group.
It left the three to sigh, speaking around the same area that Xero was in, "Okay look if the chief finds out we lost his daughter again, he's going to assign us to another job." "Right right, so what do you think we should do then? She learned about Hensth sensing her and learned how to mask her presence because she can tell by his mana it's him." "It is not my fault you two lack any sort of tracking skill aside from tracking alcohol and meat." The third one chimed in.
"So what's the plan then Dakobe?" "Honestly? I say we just hire someone to help us find her, she's been trying to open up to strangers that aren't from Clover, look around, see if you can find someone that isn't from this town or area." They spoke among themselves while discussing the pay they were willing to give, along with the discussion of a free stay in new Haven as thanks, New Haven was a town in the Forsaken region, known to attract many visitors lately for its exotic foods and festivals they regularly held. As Xero's eyes wandered with suspicion, it seemed as the boy was less on edge about the market now. The smell of fresh food seemed to ease the mind of the boy. His breathing steadied as he began to think once more. 'Right. I'll have to find some sort of work. Becoming a mercenary might be my best option, but I don't want a long lasting contract so' Xero thought to himself as his body twitched slightly as he heard the quickening of steps. The boy trained in an environment where even noticing the slightest sound might save you life immediately knew what he should do. His body turning as a weirdly large and puffy, with dots of teal like blur pasted his eyes. The boy encountered such speeds once when in training, and his body moved on it's own as he flinched protectively, however the object that passed him didn't not so much as touch his body. [break] 'W-What in the name of the beast king is that?' Xero thought to himself him mind a bit of a haze for moments until an entertaining group managed to show up. Not twenty meters from the now curious Xero. His body moved silently as he went forward trying to catch what the new men had to say. To Xero's surprise he came in on a conversation he wasn't exactly sure was right, however it caught Xero by surprise what they said about not being from clover. He let out a hum as he gave a smirk at their conversation. 'I don't think I count as a citizen' Xero thought to himself as the men spoke about a payment. It was pretty much all Xero needed to hear at the moment, but he wasn't sure exactly how much to charge the men for their job, however the young swordsmen didn't really have a choice. He decided he'd take the more abrupt approach towards the men since they took so much time not looking for the girl already. [break] Xero's steps were steady unlike when the blur passed as he walked towards the men. "Hey. I heard you're looking for that blur that passed by. I can't give a price, because I don't know the problem child's story, but you can at least rest your old bones since you want to spend this time chit chatting about" Xero said suddenly his eyes staring daggers into the men. "I'll be back" Xero said turning from the men as he stepped away from their group. [break] 'Okay so if it's a person I'm gonna assume they are probably avoiding the obvious places' Xero thought to himself glancing about the brighter side of the market place, and giving a sigh as he began to pace forward into the maze like market. 'The only odd thing about the blur was the spot of teal around the face area. That'll be my best bet.' Xero thought to himself walking down the lesser known areas of the market including weird and odd potions, and fake remedies for those unknowing in the art. "GEEZ THIS PLACE IS A MESS, AND EVERYONE HERE'S WEIRD" Xero yelled venting out his frustrations as he began to pick up speed his stomach giving a growl. "When I find this person I'm making those guys buy me lunch, and bring me somewhere more civilized" Xero mumbled his calm face still stagnant, however he was now bulldozing his way through the crowds to try and find a person with teal eyes like he'd seen the blur contain. Realizing the person was also of the larger variety Xero simply assumed that they would have done the same.

"O-Old bones?! None of us are over thirty-five!" Barked the first man while flaring his nostrils, with a haughty stomp of his foot onto the ground, he just briefly scowled before sighing, "We thank you for the help. Let's talk a bit so you know at least something." They would try to take some steps away from the main pathway of the street, just so they could talk without being in anyone's way.
"Her name is Willow Omens." Said the third of the group, "She's our village chief's daughter. I assume you have heard of New Haven? The tree-borne town here in The Forsaken Region? We essentially go out with her, because she has problems with being out of the home. Her father and family want to see her be more out-going like she used to be, but she's got agoraphobia, but the desire to keep going out and push herself."
"As such, she's pretty prone to having freakouts, which is why we normally go with her as bodyguards, plus being familiar faces really lets us help her stay relatively calm. Thing is, she had an episode, and, good lord, she is fast." The second one sighed while leaning up against the wall. "Even with all those layers of clothing on, she moves faster than the wind." He said in exaggeration.
The first one would speak up again, "We can't offer much at the moment, though if you help us out, we can offer you a place to stay for at least a week straight, and free food, it would be in New Haven. Our chief could arrange even more if you're inclined. Just, be on the lookout for the smell of coffee blends. That's how we normally find her."
If pressed on that, they would reveal that Willow carried around a satchel with multiple types of coffee brewing ingredients, and her water magic let her use them as pigments, she painted like a watercolor artist using solely coffee as her medium. From there, they would all agree to split up and look for the girl, if Xero was the first to find her, it was just a matter of just keeping her calm.
While Xero was out and about there was no way to find her on the streets normally, she had managed to climb her way up onto the rooftops of the buildings, and found a nook, an alcove on the upper-levels, a place to tuck herself away in to and focus on her artwork. She would have her sketchbook splayed over her lap while a little globule of water moved about, dipping down and coming back with a nice aroma of coffee wafting from a bag at her side. She really did have over half a dozen different blends of coffee at the ready!
Xero heard only a few things that mattered what so ever to his new mission. "Willow got it" Xero confirmed as the men seemed to continue blabbering on "It could be that you're just too slow to catch her" Xero shot back with a yawn as he gave a blank stare towards the men "Well whatever even if she can out run me I'll just chase her faster" Xero said with a bit of a shrug to the men. He wasn't sure why they seemed so keen on giving out the information to an absolute stranger, however he wasn't going to bite the hands that might pay him so he simply gave way to their comments. [break] Xero gave a soft sigh as it seemed they were short on cash "Okay whatever. So long as it's not as insanely populated as his place" Xero agreed with a shrug happily accepting a place to lay his head and eat freely. After Xero's comment he heard an odd comment about the Willow he was meant to chase. "Coffee? What does that even smell like?" Xero said cocking his head to the side never having the beverage before in his life. "Never mind I'm sure it's just gonna smell weird, but I got it." Xero said confidently his nose twitching in fear of a potentially disgusting smell invading. [break] After the conversation ended before the coffee explanation, Xero would wave the men off "I'll go ahead and try and find her then" He said with a calmed tone as he began his mindless stumbling through the market. [break] After what seemed like an age of wandering about the commoners and other people within the streets Xero had no luck finding the girl. "What a pain so that means it's actually gonna be a challenge" Xero complained with a mumble to himself as his arms crossed. "Coffee beans huh?" Xero muttered to himself as he began to look around relying on his sight a bit to much. "Okay then' He said softly as the view of the bustling streets vanished as Xero closed his eyes. 'It's okay. Just try to smell the different smells' Xero thought to himself. [break] it was easier said than done as the smell of roasting fish and meats filled hi nose, however he knew those smells all to well. a different, and pungent smell began to flow into his willing nose. He had to admit it was a bit of a bitter smell at first, however after a few moments it seemed rather familiar. As if he'd smelled it before. His head slowly rose before his eyes shot open. "I can smell it, but from where?" Xero commented in a curious tone before glancing towards a alley way filled to the brim with boxes conveniently leading high enough to get to the roof tops. [break] Xero gave himself a nod of confirmation as he began to sprint towards the boxes 'Focus' Xero thought to himself as his feet left the ground. His right foot catching a box under it, then his left, and onward as the young swordsman easily scaled the boxes to the top of a rather large roof. It was easily one of the largest, however it seemed to be on the same level as an oddly dress girl, however she seemed to be drawing on the adjacent building from Xero. His head cocked to the right as he raised his voice. "hey... Um are you by chance the person named Willow?" Xero questioned with a docile raised voice so the girl would be able to hear him over her intense sketching. The black haired boy waited for her reply patiently not really wanting to interogate someone who might not even be who he was looking for.

Willow had been so engrossed in drawing the landscape view of the town from different angles, and making a layout of the town in a schematic map, that she hadn't noticed the presence of another person's mana approaching her. Had she noticed, she surely would have bolted! Thankfully for the man, she was caught off guard, or was it worse for him considering the circumstances.
She looked up at him, instantly clung her sketchbook close, without pressing it to her body, and looked at him like a doe caught in the headlights. She felt a shiver run up her spine, the immediate fight or flight response kicking in, though she could choose neither. She was paralyzed with the realization of getting lost in her own little world that she was indeed still outside.
"I, I am being called Willow. My name is having that." She spoke very broken Common tongue, the voice of the people, she was quite bad at using it. With all of her time being spent inside, within the borders of her hometown, she was more accustomed to just using her native Chaotic Tongue, as the people of Clover Kingdom had come to call her Havenite language.
She was dressed strangle as well. With a little pile of scarves and other easy to throw on garments next to her, she looked like she was ready to throw on a disguise, it was like a second skin for her, something to make her feel more comfortable with her agoraphobia, especially if they were clothes made for her by her mother. It just helped her to feel more like she was back home.
Looking up to Xero, she looked down at her sketchbook, then up at him, "Did Dakobe and the others be asking you to come and find me?" She inquired while pressing her fingers to her drawing, looking to warp the water around through touch alone, it was a cute little form of finger painting, and the smell helped keep her awake and alert.
"I, I am having the sorry for causing the troubles. It is nice to being meeting you today sir." She was just making small talk, she was terrified, terrified of something, not of him, that much was clear. It seemed she was having a shock reaction to whatever her phobia was. if only people knew her phobia was being outside at all. Something she really needed to work on.
