Ah, yes, Jomeo and Ruliet—the talk of the town as of late. He was never into such things despite how most nobles seemed to enjoy these little theatrics. That said, it is not with his intention to view such regardless of how revered both play and its playwright were, hence he was unable to purchase any tickets before they were sold out. However it seemed as though he was fortunate, or in his case, unfortunate enough to still experience the play—perhaps all too well, in fact.
The playwright specified her wish to have Magic Knights as her preference for the portrayal of her leading roles, and what better than to send a pair from Golden dawn, the poster children of Magic Knights themselves. Fitted with a rather flashy, uncomfortable garb of blue and gold, Faust stood silently on a corner backstage—stiff as a board. He couldn't believe what he had gotten into, something forcibly entrusted to him and his colleague for being understudies knowing well that they'd have no right to refuse. Though it was part of becoming a knight, right? To perform such measly tasks before ever doing something less shameful.
He recalled lines off the top of his head, still not moving an inch for almost an hour since then as his nerves got the better of him as per usual. Try as he might to concentrate and recall, he simply couldn't as he could already feel as though piercing eyes were stabbing at him through the then closed curtains. While he may not be shaking nor sweating, his anxiety is more than evident, enough to cast a gloomy, almost ominous feeling around him as he murmured lines to himself as though reciting a sinister spell. As much as he would like to, there's absolutely no way for him to back out now, not without tarnishing the name of Magic Knight, of him and the Golden Dawn in particular for stunting a highly revered playwright on her most awaited creation.
"We're almost starting. Miss Yuiee, mister Kastr, please ready yourselves~" Said the stage manager as she passed through them.
This announcement only caused for Faust to grow more weary of his upcoming performance, fearing embarrassment. He couldn't even properly socialize without help from others dues to his sheepish attitude, what more with acting out on a stage in front of a dozen, if not hundreds of nobles. He looked around for his companion, a fellow Golden Dawn squad member much like he is, hoping to get at least a tad bit of assurance from her—hoping she'd guide him throughout the play should things get a little messy.
"We're almost... up..." He held his breath after his last word, with the mere thought of performing onstage taking away his wind. He still stood on the same corner, keeping his distance away from everyone knowing he's on edge. He was simply in need of Hinota's encouraging words—that's all he needed... right? He exhaled rather heavily, pressing two fingers between his brows. Faust, no, Jomeo clenched his jaw.

So now it was the town of Silva's chance to deal with the tragic romance that was Jomeo and Ruliet, she knew it for batum and could respect what it stood for but by gods she hated this play with a vengeance and wanted to destroy every last copy of it, but that was a task for another day and if she ever became a rogue because at that point she really wouldn't give a damn. In fact, she had at one time she had even thought about becoming a rogue just to destroy this play when she was younger. All in all, however, most nobles seemed to enjoy the story of the tragic story of the star-crossed lovers and so since it came to town it had been sold out so that had to make the company hosting it extremely happy. Her family knew this play was coming months in advance so had tickets for each night, given their profession they didn't know which night they would be free to view it so made sure they'd at least be able to see it once regardless of how busy their schedule was. She honestly thought she was going to get out of seeing it when she was told she had a job, nope it had gotten far worse for her... she was having to take part in this play... fate really had an ironic sense of humour putting her in this thing or it just really didn't like her at all, she wouldn't even hazard a guess on which at this point.
It had seemed as if the writer of the play had created it for magic users to be the performers, in this case, they decided to call upon the poster children of magic knight perfection as some seemed to call them. She had requested the lead rolls come from the Golden Dawn, Hino had no issue on her squad being picked to fulfil such important rolls of a play, what she did have an issue with was the fact they decided to send her and one of the other new members of the squad to do this task. Problem was that she had never been in love, had a relationship and was raised not really have physical interactions with people outside her family so didn't handle them overly well in general. She couldn't really say she was happy with the overly ruffled crimson red and white dress she was wearing, the corset was done up so tightly that she could barely breathe but she stood beside her co-lead silently a small smile on her face as if she was actually happy to be there. She was glad for all those lessons of how she should be able to drink from an empty cup when sad now.
Her eyes looked towards Faust, she had to admit he was rather handsome but given his stiff stance, she could tell he was likely having as much fun as she was at this point, of course, this could be put as nerves but his eyes showed he honestly just didn't want to be here in the slightest. She shared the sentiment but had been taught how to look the opposite as appearance was everything to nobles after all.
"Faust, you're so stiff anyone would think you are the one in the corset." she said with a playful tone to the other trying to get him to relax a bit.
She turned her attention to the backstage manager as she moved through them warning that they would be up soon and to be prepared on her way to check other things. She bit her bottom lip and took him by the hands squeezing them a little in support seeing the nerves creeping up in the other, she could only guess that he had never performed in front of people let alone nobles that would never let you forget a mistake you made generations down the line.
"I understand you are nervous and likely do not want to do this. I am right there with you but we were chosen for this task and we can't let down our families, ourselves or our squad. Don't concentrate on the audience they will distract you. When we go out on stage, imagine the theatre empty just like in rehearsals and concentrate on me and the other actors. You can do this... no, we can do this and will do this together." She said trying to give him advice and settle his nerves, pep talks were never her strong suit but she still tried, soon she'd take her hands away from his.
"You need to lighten up, make pretend like when you were a child off to save the maiden." she said seeing his jaw clenched, she knew nothing of his past but from what she had observed growing up and even now it was the most common pretend next to fighting in battles boys done so hoped even that would help him a little.
An exasperated sigh escaped the young Magic Knight's lips, producing a sound that most closely resembled a hiss. Just then, having his hands held by his colleague gave him a near unnoticeable jolt in surprise. He had never been this close to others, perhaps even marking the most interaction he had ever had that year. Nevertheless, he listened to her notes, keeping her words in mind together with his lines. Surely he could what he had told him... right?
"Act one, scene one! Jomeo and Ruliet has their fated meet up at the ball! Goodluck you two~" The stage manager exclaimed. And just then, their fellow actors came flooding in just in time as the curtains rose.
He could clearly see their spectators, a sold out theatre with an audience chock full of nobles. It took him a few moments to focus, thankfully the scene so far only required for Faust to interact with other background actors. He went around the stage faking socialization much like how he would've during gatherings of nobles with his family. Speaking of, did his family come to watch? He couldn't help but think, perhaps they did, after all, they were nobles themselves and it did seem like something his parents would've fancied.
He couldn't help it, he just had to look and take a peek at the audience. His eyes wandered for a bit until eventually, it caught sight of a few familiar faces. His mother, father, and older sister all on one row. He cringed physically as he saw their faces painted with discontent. Worse of all, they seemed to have caught sight of him as they started tracking his movements across the stage. He could barely focus with what he's doing, almost missing his next cue if not for the change of instrumentals that signified it.
It was time for Jomeo to meet Ruliet on the ball.
He remembered his lines, yet at the same time, the look on his family's faces. It was time for him to say something, yet for a split second that seemed more like an hour, he struggled to say anything. "Ah..." He trailed off, staring blankly at Hinota as he was remembering what his fellow knight and actress had told him beforehand. He inhaled sharply and exhaled softly, soothing his nerves and returning his focus. He didn't have to imagine the audience as empty at all. All he had to do was think of his motivation and, at the moment, it was thankfully all too real. To keep the approval of his parents, it was it that gave him his drive.
"Ah, what a quite quaint maiden thou art. T'wouldst be mine own hon'r to knoweth thy name, m' lady."
He said, circling Hinota with his chin held high, strides calculated and smooth. All of a sudden, his acting had gone from stiff to natural, even his accent turned more refined that it already is. It was as if he had changed forms in an instant soon as the curtains fell.

Hinota looked at the other as he let out what seemed like a hiss, she had to wonder if she had done something to upset the other or if it was just the situation in general. As she herself didn't really do well with touch she noticed the small jolt of surprise that the other had done as she was the same when she was touched suddenly, even by her own family but there was another reason for that completely. She turned her head listening to what the stage manager said and nodded, she really didn't like this at all but knew that she couldn't really afford to mess up, her own family would never let her live it down not that she had much interaction with them since joining the Golden Dawn. She smiled sweetly at the woman who had said good luck to them and sighed a little knowing it was actually bad luck to say good luck when acting it was just inviting something to go wrong.
She had entered from the opposite side of the stage from Faust and started to do what was expected, talking with extras and other actors before the fateful meeting was supposed to happen. She looked over to the audience from the edge of her vision as she had noted Faust doing the same, it was a case of monkey see monkey do at that point. She honestly wished she hadn't because she had noticed her own parents and groaned silently. This was the last thing that she needed, that was for sure. She quickly turned her full attention back to the task at hand or she would just completely shut down which was something she refused to do. She perked up a little hearing the change in music showing that the next part of the scene continued, it was fateful meeting for Jomeo to meet Ruliet at the ball.
She looked to the other seeing that he was stuttering a little and wondered if there was something wrong and if he had forgotten his lines so perhaps needed a little whispered nudge to help him remember. She was glad it was unfounded as he found his feet and started to say his lines perfectly, her eyes went to the crowd of nobles briefly and wondered if his own family was out there taking note of his every movement much like her own would be doing with her. It would explain a lot in all honesty. She continued with the lines required of her as they went on with the scene. She had noticed that Faust seemed to have changed demeanour since earlier and it was quite attractive to see him in such a light but she knew to keep it professional and so she would. She left when it was required, as the night went on she seemed to enjoy herself more but that could be because she was having to share this experience with someone who themselves didn't want to do it.
After the final curtain call and they took their bows she went backstage and smiled at Faust "Thank you for making an unbearable experience more manageable." she whispered to him not wanting to upset the playwright or the rest of the company with her statement. With a small courtesy, she headed back to get changed out of the uncomfortable dress she was into something more her own style, once done she would wait for Faust before exiting and heading back to the headquarters with him.

The rest of their play went surprisingly smooth, more so than anyone ever expected, especially with regards to Faust and his usual stiffness. His proper formality training as a noble sure did help him out quite a lot, bringing out what he had learned when he was taught how to speak and act as the heir of their family, only this time it's highly exaggerated to some extremes.
Finally, the play was done, he took his final bow with the curtains dropping shortly after. He looked towards Hinota with a weary smile, something different from his usual deadpan look. He couldn't believe what he had done, acting on stage, something he didn't think he was capable of considering he's all too shy even to just start a conversation. Remembering what had transpired, he cringed, knowing that, most, if not all nobles now knew of him as Jomeo from that one play. He stiffened back up, his expression visibly showing his shame as he gritted his teeth. But thankfully, all that was done now.
His fellow Golden Dawn knight approached him right after and gave him her final remarks. Truly, he too was glad for her company which did help him quite a lot. "Ah... I thank you as well." He smiled. "I suppose we're stars now." He added jokingly accompanied by a faux shudder before they parted ways backstage, finally, he's able to take off his excessively frilly suit.
