The next few moments happened very quickly, almost to quickly for Valo's tastes when it came to something like this. His past few months as a magic knight had taught him to handle and solve and sort of disturbance or threatening situation. This was definitely one of those dire situations, he was on his guard but the next few actions caught him off guard. Tucker began to speak again in more strange patterns, something was definitely going on with him. Genesis was engaging him in conversation, she looked for the most part unimpressed with all his talk and blabber. The next few moments happened very quickly, Tucker was about to unscrew his jar it probably wasn't wise to let him finish. Genesis had thought ahead and stopped him by sending a knife his way shattering the glass of the jar. Ruining whatever he had planned.
The liquid spilled all over the floor, Valo tried to keep a trained eye on what was happening. But grey heavy smoke started to release from the liquid blinding him. All he could hear was Genesis running out the store and into a crowd. It wasn't like Valo to run, apart of him wanted to stay here and stop this madman but the smoke filling the shop made it very difficult to see anything. "Tch! Damn it!" he muttered as he ran out the shop and followed Genesis, as the door closed behind he turned his head looking into the shop window one last time. Only for his eyes to meet large red eyes for a seconds, before sinking down into a grey liquid like substance. Valo got a distance away before the shop's window shattered a small explosion went off in the store. It wasn't big enough to damage anyone nearby, but just all the belongings inside the store. The few civilians around the shop looked stunned and startled.
Valo continued following Genesis, stopping once he caught up to her. "It's fine. It was a good call." he responded to her apology, or what seemed like an apology. "We should split up, that man or whatever that was...he had a lot more than what meets the eye." Valo said an image of those red eyes now in his head. Genesis suggested to come back and meet up a week from now. Valo would nod in agreement. "Seee..ya." he said watching the red head take her leave. To think a simple introduction in a forrest with a couple of mana beasts turned to all this. Valo would grin, but he could not given what he just. He did watch her disappear into the crowd, he was looking forward to seeing her again in about a weeks time. She was definitely the edgy type, hard focused and had little time for distraction but Valo admired that about her. Maybe he would see her again in a week, or should the fates decide earlier than that.
