As for appearance Valo's first noticeable trait is his pretty tall height standing at a 6'2 in height at his age is pretty impressive. His body type is really athletic from all the excess training he does keeping his body in prime form at all times. He is very slender but really well cut and muscled showing and proving great strength. His face pretty thin and angular often has a innocent look on, or a determined one when in a serious brawl. His hair his black and spiky even a little messy, some of his hair comes down in bangs right over his eyes. His eyes stand out the most from anything about his appearance. They are very bright and full blue, with black crosses the run all the way to the edge of his irise

His blue eyes also tend to stand out much to his annoyance. Valo’s overall demeanor is that of a typical bad boy trouble maker, a rough but cool sense of style. On the surface he looks like a typical delinquent, but is actually quite good at taking care of himself. He likes to indulge in self care which Is quite the contrast to his rough and aggressive demeanor. This doesn’t mean V is afraid to get dirty most times when coming back from a dungeon his clothing and body is covered in dirt, scratches, and damage from many many battles.

As for clothing Valo keeps a very unique form of clothing, he prefers very light clothing and tries to wear as less as possible. Not a big fan of heavy armors and things of the sort. He prefers simple T-shirts and sleeveless shirts with either loose pants or slimmer ones. He mostly wears unique footwear like red sneakers or combat boots from time to time. He will wear hoodies and always have one tied around his waist, he admires jewelry often having on bracelets and things of the sort. Because of his greedy nature, when not in a dungeon he tends to wear some jewelry and accessories things like chains, necklaces, bracelets, rings and pairs of shades that he seems to always have on him. Mostly always wearing black, dark or neutral colors it’s very rare you’ll ever catch him in anything bright.




One thing is certain Valo can be rude, arrogant, cocky, flippant and aggressive. He is extremely blunt, exuberant and hot headed. He says whatever is on his mind and doesn't really care who he is talking to or who he is in front of. Doesn't really care for formality or social standings in today's society. Despite these traits, he somehow manages to retain a certain rough charm about himself which tends to make him a little likable some of the time. Despite his aggressive demeanor Valo doesn't wish harm on people who can't handle it. Because of his background in criminal activity, fending for oneself to survive, stealing, and gang trouble he can easily find himself in trouble time and time again. During his early teenage years he had no one to rely on other than himself and his group so that reflects on his persona today. Which is why he comes off as selfish and greedy.

Valo is extremely driven, competitive and goal oriented. He has fought his whole life to prove himself to strangers, friends, family. Most importantly himself. His aim is to become one of the best magic knights that have ever lived, nothing short of that. Like his element he has an inner flame that is constantly burning and it never really lets up. His adventures, accomplishments, and resolve when faced with overwhelming odds has earned him the title of "The Unrelenting Flame."

His time as a magic knight though has taught him a lot, he is more patient than he used to be. Having gone through plenty of tough and endearing obstacles. He's learned the value of some patience and has gradually matured into a competent and resourceful magic knight. He's a lot more perceptive as well to the world and people around him.

He does have high beliefs in strength of character and endearment. He believes in dreams, and that one can achieve everything they desire in life. Though at times he does tend to use his philosophy to do what he pleases like partying, drinking, having a good time and pushing people to fight him. Though he tends to use his idealism for minuscule things, in moments of seriousness he can truly inspire others to follow their true dreams. And has never wavered from his own path. It was this mindset that he overcame extreme odds.

He also believes that all things are one in the world, and that everything is connected. And one can truly understand what this means when you can hear the language of the world and see it's soul. "The soul of the world, connects all things." and he truly believes this making him somewhat complex for his character, who is often only seen being rude and causing trouble.

He is rather laid back and calm when not worked up about something. He spends a decent amount of time meditating, and examining the world around him. He is able to learn many things just from listening to the soul of the world and becoming attune to it. He is a fun loving person, in fact everything he does is for his own enjoyment his humor is truly unique. He can come off having a rather cocky attitude in battle and out, and not above throwing his opponents off with his slick mouthy banter. He is shown to be very energetic and optimistic to delude his opponents into thinking something else.



Valo was technically born into the noble house of Stark. But his mother not being born of noble descent made things difficult, it was decided that the best course of action was to leave the mother and child in the common region with some means to take care of themselves. Because of this Valo grew up quite poor with his mother and thus started his trouble making, criminal streak. Valo essentially grew up on the streets and always found himself getting into trouble, much to his mother's disappointment. While she tried her best to keep him on a straight and narrow path by keeping his head in the books and always helping out the local church, it wouldn't take long for him to find trouble again. This was mostly because Valo had a surging aggressive nature, even when he tried to channel it for good for example trying to steal a necklace for his mother's birthday. He ended up getting into a scuffle with the shop owner which would of course land him in more trouble for one trying to steal and second trying to beat up the store owner when he got caught. Even when he very young he was getting into multiple fights, and much to his delight when it came to street fight he would always win.

Making a small name for himself in the little rural town it wasn't long before Valo had a group of other kids hanging around him only getting into more trouble. Mostly following him because of his no loss record in street fights, he was looked at as a leader in their small little gang. But despite all this Valo never tried not wanted to disrespect his mother and still kept his head in the books just because she wanted him too. Not only making him street smart, but academically as well his mother was at least going to make sure she didn't raise a complete idiot. This actually had quite the positive effect on his little gang because when not causing a ruckus and getting into trouble Valo forced them to read, write and study and always respect their mothers and families at home.

It wasn't long before Valo's group could be looked at as a small organized gang of pre teens, young but smart, rebellious and ambitious. No one took them to seriously though because of their age. It wasn't long before they got rather over confident and tried to do things way over their heads like steal weapons from the local blacksmith Bogard. Of course they were caught, and Valo stepped forward to receive the full brunt of the punishment so his gang could go unpunished. Seeing Valo's bravery the Bogard decided to do something else he started putting the gang to work in order to pay off their dept. When the gang was working in the smith's shop he took the time to practice his martial arts skills, that caught Valo's eye. Once the entire debt was paid Valo begged Bogard to train him in martial arts in order for him and his gang to protect the local town better. Then it all made sense to him, the reason why Valo was doing all this stealing and mischief was to protect the town in his own odd way. Realizing this Bogard agreed and starting to teach Valo martial arts, and the arts of combat and a dabble of magic.

As the years passed Valo's little gang of troublemakers became an actual gang of thugs and defenders of the town for when the time called. When turning 15 Valo developed a grimoire of his own, but as of right now wasn't interested in becoming knight just yet. But he did get a visitor he came by his home just to see what kind of grimoire Valo had gotten. Once seeing simply saying "Hmmmph you wouldn't have been good enough for house Stark anyway." then simply left. Forcing his mother to tell him who his father his and true relations to a house of nobles. With this new info Valo's ambitions had changed, now he was going to became a powerful knight not just to prove his father wrong. But for himself in his own words "One doesn't need a reason to become strong. Being strong is reason enough."
