[attr="class","hanatextd"]The chirping of birds bathing and the sound of hooves sloshing in the muddy puddles that had formed from the previous night's rain was all the bubble mage could hear as she entered the small town on the edge of the common region. If one were to continue along the dirt path that travelled just out the other side of town they would find themselves within the forsaken region in a matter of moments. Not the safest haven to live in by far, so close to the unknown and monsters that lurked on the outskirts of the kingdom, but it was one far away from the prying eyes on the capital, meaning people could live here as they please, or allow those of higher class to meet with less desirables in private without fear of being caught.
Lilliana herself, was still an unknown to those within the kingdom, but it was always to better for one to be safe rather than sorry later down the line once she did make a name for herself. Therefore, she had carefully chosen this location, using her contacts from her time before living in Kikka to arrange a meeting with a mercenary of sorts. The pink haired mage did not know much about them other than a name given to her, but she was willing to take the risk given her current circumstances. She had a goal in mind, and naturally a plan to ensure it came to fruition, but she needed some insurance first. She couldn't die before her life had truly begun after all.
Dismounting her horse, she'd tie it to the pole by the trough in front of the only tavern in town before stepping inside. Lilliana would remove her riding gloves as her purple eyes gazed around the bar, she didn't know exactly who she was looking for, but she was sure they would find her once she had made her presence known. There were only a few within the walls, it was still far too early for most local farmers to be coming to drink. Regardless, she could feel their stares bore right back at her, it seemed she had garnered the attention of most, if not all of the current patrons. She wasn't dressed up by any means, if anything she looked like an ordinary citizen, a plain, woollen black dress with stockings and a simple cloak to keep her warm with the changing of seasons upon the country.
Taking loud, almost echoing, steps towards the counter, she'd request a glass of wine from the barkeep in a demanding tone. He'd look her up and down, clearly unsure of her age, before relenting upon seeing her toss a few coins on the countertop. It seemed he wasn't the kind to say no to paying customers, regardless of their age; A wise business decision and one the bubble mage could not fault him on, especially if she was getting what she desired. Lilliana would take a seat at the counter itself, waiting for the one she was meeting to approach her first, lest she make a fool of herself by mistaking them for someone else.

Jin Zhongli
Finding work as a rogue was much easier said than done, Jin Zhongli was finding this out the hard way. It's been weeks since he has had any work, and no work means no pay. No pay means no money and no money means a whole lot of nothing. That's where Jin was at right now a whole lot of nothing, he was broke for the most part only had some pocket change that he stole from a few people. But Jin didn't want to just steal some pocket change from people so he could get by, he wanted the big pay offs. The ones that leave a person well paid and well fed. But before anyone could get to one of those, he had to make some sort of reputation for himself. Something else he was lacking in a reputation, a resume, credentials. No one was hiring a nobody for big pay offs it didn't matter who he thought he was.
Although a rookie, Jin was no fool to this game. He had to get started somewhere and start planting some seeds, seeds that could grow into lucrative relationships. And that was the goal for today, plant a seed and hope it grows. The young man had been waiting in a tavern in town to meet a certain individual. Before he left his old man's estate, he used one little favor to connect him with someone might be hiring him for some dirty work. Perhaps a future partner? Jin wasn't certain but of course he remained skeptical as he did all things. The young rogue's feet were on top of the table top, his white hair down for the day nothing covering his blue eyes today. His clothing was dark as usual all black pants and matching color boots. A high collared black jacket over a white top, nothing on his hands but small little details of a tattoo.
Jin kept his eyes low but attention alert, when anyone walked in the tavern. It was a quiet spot no real attention here at all, a solid place to meet without anyone really caring. A pink haired girl walked in wearing a simple cloak over a black dress and stockings. That was her. He could tell. She wasn't really what he was expecting at all, she looked almost innocent with her light purple eyes. But Jin knew better to underestimate cute girls, they were actually the most dangerous ones.
Jin would wait a few moments studying her without making it obvious. She asked for a glass of wine, her tone wasn't soft it was demanding. She wasn't one to take lightly and the barkeep wasn't going to test it. He fetched the wine for her with no issue. Drinking wine at a local quiet tavern? Did she have a taste for the finer things in life? These thoughts raced in Jin's head. He didn't want to waste anymore time, he stood up quietly and made his way towards her. He would attempt to hide his steps from her, quietly approach her left side. Just to test her sensory abilities a bit, from the looks of it though she wasn't the type to be caught by surprise.
"You're not quite what I expected." he would say softly a small smile on his face.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana's fingers circled her wine glass slowly as she lent against the bar, continuing to look ahead as she felt someone shifting in their seat, moving towards her direction. The pink haired mage didn't even flinch as she heard a soft voice from behind her. The words indicating they were indeed who she had came to see. Her head would slowly turn in the man's direction, a bored look on her face as she glanced him up and down before growing into a smirk.
"Oh, well I hope I'm not disappointing you too much." She'd chuckle before giving him another look over, "You on the other hand appear to be exactly what I was hoping for, although, definitely taller and more handsome than I envisioned." She'd give a small wink before tightening her grip around her glass, bringing it up to her lips to take a sip while keeping eye contact. Confidence was definitely key in situations like this, even if she was a bundle of nerves on the inside, she couldn't let it show.
This was especially true for the given situation. She hadn't lied to him, he certainly did seem to be the perfect kind of connection to add to her steadily growing collection. She had to admit though, she wasn't expecting someone quite so tall, he made her feel like a dwarf in comparison. His is build was lean, but that was most likely due to the upbringing of someone of his occupation and she wasn't about to doubt his abilities before seeing him in action.
"Can I get you anything? A drink, or perhaps a meal?" She'd offer as a sign of good will. It didn't matter if he wanted it or not, it was simply a curtesy before beginning their discussions. A small gesture such as this could help solidify her intentions, showing she was willing to invest a little in him before even establishing a working relationship.

Jin Zhongli
Now that Jin was close he got a much better look at this girl, her hair was more of a pale pink. Her eyes were a striking purple, but it wasn't the color that Jin found interesting. Her first look was a slight boredom but then it changed upon getting a good look at him, perhaps he didn't disappoint in terms of his appearance. He guessed he did look like a typical hired killer, but what exactly does a hired killer look like? Questions for another day, right now he had to focus on the young lady in front of him.
"Oh you are by no means a disappointment. If anything you're the exact opposite. Usually the kinds of people who ask for my help look a certain way." Jin said in response. He heard her compliments and chuckled a little but, while slipping into the seat right next to her. "Compliments already? You know how to start a partnership." Jin replied still a bit of chuckle in his voice. It wasn't every day he was told he was handsome, it was nice to hear though she could just be giving out compliments.
He knew he was quite tall, it helped him seem intimidating when he needed it. But also from the looks of it, even though she was sitting down he could make out she was on the shorter side. He probably stood about one foot and then some over her. She also seemed pretty confident for a first introduction, Jin thought about what went into meeting people for the first time. Especially in his case. Most people that would meet him, knew that he was a hired killer. Did this fact make them nervous? He always questioned it.
She winked at him, Jin noticed this as well it made him smile just a little bit. He didn't want to think to much about it, but he started to get the idea that maybe she was flirting with him. He didn't mind this at all, why would he? She was a attractive girl, but he didn't know her at all. Or she really wanted this to go well, perhaps she had mind determined to complete her goals and her goals somehow involved someone like him a low level rogue. In fact right now he was barely even that, he had to get to work as well.
"Free food? I'm never one to turn down something free especially food." Jin replied to her offer. He took a few moments pondering on what he was going order, his hand on his chin it looked like he was in an extreme focus. "Pancakes." he said suddenly. "With eggs. And a tall glass of milk." he added on. It may not have been early morning but Jin always had a taste for some breakfast. Jin then looked back towards the young lady, there were some things he really had on his mind.
He leaned in a bit closer to her. "Compliments and free food. Are you flirting with me? When I don't even have your name." he asked realizing he didn't have a name for her. "Or you could just be being really polite." He added, Jin hasn't met or dealt with people who are genuinely polite for the sake of it. If they are it's usually because they really want something. But Jin couldn't really tell which one it was with her.
[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana found herself smiling sincerely, at least he wasn't a total idiot, while morons were easy to control, they were also susceptible to messing up plans
"Well, I guess it's a little of both." She answered honestly, it was true, she wished to start off on the right foot, but she'd be lying if she said she hadn't sugar coated it a little, "But don't worry, I'm most certainly here on business, not pleasure." She'd add, to make her intentions known before going about ordering his food. If she had to guess, his upbringing was probably worse off than her own, and hers was nothing to brag about. Therefore, she wasn't surprised that he wasn't about to pass up a free meal, even if it wasn't overly fancy.
"I can't exactly promise the quality of the food of this place." Lilliana glanced around at the less than ideal condition of the inn. It wasn't exactly the kind of place you'd take someone out to eat, just a place to stay a night while passing through, and then only if you really had to. However, she did have to admit that the tavern owner at least kept the place clean of dust, a sign it was well maintained and led her to believe the kitchens would be held to similar standards.
"I assume you heard the man, pancakes, eggs and a glass of milk if you will." Lilliana spoke up loudly, as she turned to the bartender who lingered nearby. He had been cleaning glasses, or at least seeming to, but she had her suspicions he'd been listening in. He almost jumped out of his skin at being noticed but simply nodded before quietly leaving into the back of the bar, where she assumed the kitchen must be located.
"Now, you asked for my name, correct? You can just call me Lily, that should suffice." She'd smile once more now she was back to speaking to her potential business partner, "And yourself?" She'd query, while she had been handed a name, he may be the kind that changed up his codename regularly, she wasn't about to judge considering the few details she did know about his particular line of work.
However, as she asked for his name, Lilliana noticed a couple of other nearby patrons staring quite blatantly in their direction and muttering, no doubt gossiping about having strangers enter so early in the day. The bubble mage would sigh before the male could answer her question, standing as she prepared to move slowly into the more shadow filled side of the pub, away from the prying eyes and eavesdropping ears of others.
"I think it would be for the best if we were to move to a more discreet location before delving into the details of my proposal." She'd state much more quietly than she had been talking up until this point. Her plans were not something she wished to be shared amongst others, especially those with big ears and loose lips.

Jin Zhongli
Jin was caught slightly off guard with her sudden honesty, even though he asked he didn't expect that answer. "A little of both. Ha I like your honesty." Jin replied with a light laugh. She was honest so far, that said a lot. It meant for now she might not be an enemy, but living life as a rogue meant just about anyone could be an enemy at any time. He was starting to like her, but his guard as always would remain up he couldn't afford to let it down.
"And business it will be." he replied to her comment. He heard her comments on the quality of this place, but it didn't bother him much he was used to eating in worse conditions than this. But it wasn't that he didn't have access to finger things growing up, in fact he did sometimes. But only sometimes his father's training sessions were a bit more excessive than most. Knowing how to survive for months in a dark and dangerous forests was one of them. So a meal like this would do just fine for the young man.
After a moment or two, she gave an answer to his question earlier. Her name. Lily. It was simple enough, probably short for something longer or probably not. If it was real or not it didn't really matter he just needed something to call her. But of course that led to her asking what his name was, she needed something to call him by of course. But right after she asked her question she would sigh her eyes fell on a couple of men that have been glancing in their direction for a while now. She stood and started to make her way to a more secluded side of the tavern.
Jin didn't move just yet, he used his next few seconds looking directly at the men. His look wasn't menacing or even odd, it was just a simple look for a few seconds. Remembering faces, clothes, details, this was a second nature to him. It was trained into him so much, it became an instinctual reaction if anyone or anything gave him reason to think twice. He would remember just about every vital detail on them, just in case he had to find them again and take care of them. He made it look natural when he got up to follow Lily to the other table.
Now this may be Jin's first official partnership that he's making on his own. He would be lying if he said he didn't think about this exact moment for hours on end. Does he share his real name? Of course not! That would be foolish even if he could trust her. So how fake of name should he make, something completely random or something with little hint of what his actual name could be. But luckily Jin had already decided what his name would be to this partner before he even arrived. "Lee." he said simply, not to fast but also not to slow. But in the end it didn't matter if she believed it or not, that was the name he was going to give her.
But Jin wasted no time moving the subject on, he was really interested in why she wanted to meet with a man such as himself. "So Lily tell me. Why would a girl like you meet with a guy like me? I can guess a few reasons, but I would really like to hear it from you." he asked simply, his eyes looking straight at hers.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana nodded as he spoke a single syllable. Lee. It was short and sweet, similar to the nickname she had used for herself too. It would be easy to remember. Whether he was lying or not wasn't important it was purely to make things simpler while working together. Now that the duo sat away from others, she began to feel a little safer, her body starting to relax momentarily before the male spoke, causing her to tense up once more.
His incredibly direct line of questioning had caught her off-guard. Her eyes would flicker momentarily away from his bright blue ones that stared in her direction. The bubble mage would bring her wine glass to her lips once more, taking a small sip in order to buy her some time. Not to think of an answer, but in order to calm her nerves. This man wasn't an ordinary person after all, and while she was confident in her own abilities she still needed to be careful. She'd begin to speak once more as her glass hit the table.
"Prying into a woman's affairs, you're lucky I'm not the kind to find that offensive." She smiled weakly at her own joke, it wasn't like she truly cared, she had already planned to give him plenty of details, not everything, but enough for him to understand his role. Therefore, Lilliana had decided to be as honest as necessary with this one person, it would be the only way to gain their trust and ensure they didn't turn on her later down the line.
"My wish is a simple one. I want to live a comfortable and easy life. Unfortunately, I assume like yourself, I did not have the most ideal upbringing, so I have to use my own power to get there. I have a plan, but it requires someone like yourself, there's two reasons for that." She'd pause hearing footsteps coming their way.
Within seconds a plate and glass were placed in front of the male opposite her. The barkeeper lingered momentarily at the table before quickly shuffling off, the two of them must have given off some sort of aura. Perhaps she had been a little too straightforward and harsh when she had spoken to him earlier. It didn't matter, they were alone once more so she could continue.
"Like I was saying, two reasons." Lilliana paused taking another sip of her drink, "The first is to help me build up my funds and reputation. That's what I'm here to see you about today. The second, is to decide if you're someone I can trust to hire again should I be in need of your services." She'd conclude, giving him a moment to consider her words. She suspected her answer would only leave him with more questions. How did she plan to use him to build up funds when she had to pay for his services? That was probably the big one, one she already had an answer prepared for should he bring it up.
By raising her second point early in the conversation though, she hoped to show that she was willing to hire him more than just this one time. This meant ongoing work and perhaps even a steady stream of future income once she was in a position to afford it.

Jin Zhongli
Jin didn't look away as he awaited her response, he kept his eyes on her and he was focused. This was an important exchange of information, and if he didn't pay close attention to her every word and movement it could end badly for him. His trust for her growing, just a bit. But he stayed rational. There was no telling what the young ladies true attentions were. She could be setting him up, she could be a magic knight or with the church. Her every movement and word was very important and Jin would not miss one beat.
She broke eye contact for a moment. Was she nervous? he thought, she could be that would make sense. Is this her fist time meeting someone like him face to face? Though Jin was trying to remain focused, he too cracked a little letting out a slight chuckle and a smirk when she responded to him. "Trust. Not my intention to offend you. I just like to be a little...direct when it comes to work." he replied. He left it at that, since she started to speak about why she wanted to meet him. She spoke about her wish to live a comfortable and easy life, Jin admired that. He too in a way wanted to live a comfortable life, perhaps easy too. But his means of getting there were going to be anything but easy and comfortable. Like her own Jin's upbringing wasn't ideal, so she was right about that. She spoke of a plan that would require someone like him, this left the rogue feeling pretty interested.
There was a pause when the barkeeper arrived with plates of Jin's food. The pancakes looked decent, eggs looked edible and the tall glass of milk looked cold and fresh enough. The barkeeper lingered for a bit, before walking off Jin couldn't blame him. Him and Lily were by far the most interesting looking people in this place. Jin started to but up his pancakes and poured some syrup over them, maybe a bit to much syrup. But he did look up often making sure to keep eye contact with Lily as she continued to speak. She wanted to build her funds and reputation, and she wanted to see if he was trustworthy to hire for multiple jobs. The mention of services and needing them again, made Jin stop eating for a moment. He liked what he was hearing, this could be the starting point if he was able to work with her and gain multiple jobs. That would do more than get his foot in the door.
Jin took a couple of more bites of his fresh warm pancakes, and washed it down with some sips of his milk before answering. "I like it. I like what I'm hearing and I like what your'e saying. From the way it sounds this can be beneficial to the both us." He said with a small smirk, he continued to eat before looking up again. He of course still had a few questions for her. He liked the idea of her plans, now he just had to get on board with working with her. And if this was going to be a continuation and a ongoing thing, he needed some more information.
"But let me ask this. What's your opinion on people like me?" he asked suddenly, looking her straight in the eyes again. He wanted to see how she felt about rogues, people on the more dirtier side of work. Jin was an assassin, he killed people for money. He wasn't an evil being, but he by no means was a good one and that fact was never going to change.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana was glad to see her point was getting across, her plan would certainly help the both of them and she wasn't the kind of person to throw away a powerful chess piece for some small win either. She planned to keep someone around for the long haul, someone she could have do any dirty work she required without risking it coming back to her. His question though left her stunned, did he think perhaps she looked down on someone like him?
"People like you?" the bubble mage blinked in amusement before chuckling, "Well, I think some people are just dealt a bad hand at the start of their life. That doesn't mean they shouldn't try to bluff their way through it. I mean folding and giving up before you've even began would be far more pitiful. So I guess, honestly, I admire people like you, you've taken what you've been given and made this life your own." She smiled, "I mean, everyone is simply trying to survive, be it people like you, the farmers toiling in the fields, or even the great and mighty magic knights. We each just find a different way of doing so depending on our own strengths. Does that help answer your question?" She'd ask, still smiling as she looked directly towards the man across the table.
Honestly, even if her goal was to join the magic knights, she really didn't believe in what they claimed to stand for. They weren't heroes, they were nothing more than tools despite what some idiots thought. In fact it wouldn't surprise her if many of them had killed more people than those in Lee's line of work. The only difference was that one group was seen as the saviours of the kingdom while the others appeared to be dangerous simply because they weren't under the direct control of those that ran the country. His choice meant he had all the freedom in the world to make his own decisions, if Lilliana were to speak truthfully she would have to admit she was sort of jealous of that fact. However, she also didn't want to spend her life hiding in the shadows, it was a trade-off she was willing to take. Regardless, it was time to divert the conversation back to the matter at hand.
"If that's all, I can now explain the first job to you if you like?" She'd offer, her plan was a simple one, but it would be no means easy, there would be numerous dangers, she just hoped he was willing to take a small risk on her this time around. If it paid off they would both be better off for it.

Again Jin paid close attention to her next words, he didn't need a whole speech on her thoughts about the entirety of rogues. But if this was someone he was going to be working with quite a few times in the future, he at least wanted to know her thoughts on the subject. When it was time for things to get a little more bloody, that she wasn't going to change face and stab him in the back. As she spoke he would take a few more mouthfuls of his pancakes, they weren't the best but they were doing their job.
She spoke and her words hit true, some people's lives were going to differ from others. But it was what they did with their lives that decided it all. In Jin's case his decision was to not live in a box. The magic knights, the Churches even civilians, all lived in boxes in rules. Jin believed in his absolute freedom, not because he was stronger then anyone else, or he was more well off. But simply because he was alive.
She spoke with a smile, and he smirked in return. "That's a good response. Lily I like you. If you promise to never stab me in the back, I think this partnership can work out very well." Jin said with a chuckle to himself, though he was genuinely laughing there was some truth to his words. Like usual Jin never really placed his trust in anyone at all, now matter how genuine and pretty they were like Lily. For now though she had his attention and interest. She wanted to continue explaining the job she had in mind.
Jin could do little to hide his excitement, his eyes widened a little more his face had a small smile on it. He but another piece of his pancakes and popped it in his mouth. "Oh oh. Please, please do tell." he said with enthusiasm. His first set up line of work as a young rouge, he was excited to hear what his new partner had in mind.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana's eyes lit up with the male's words, a genuine smile as she chuckled in return to his own. Yes, it seemed they were more on the same page than she had anticipated. There was no way she'd sway in loyalty to someone that proved himself to be useful to her. Which is where the next step came in to play.
"Well, as I mentioned, I am in need of funds. While I have a little saved for some smaller investments, unfortunately working for a baker really doesn't pay that extraordinarily well." She'd giggle once more, "However, there is a place I have heard rumours about, one that would be perfect to both get the two of us some quick cash to last us a short duration while also solidifying our trust in each other's abilities. After all, I'd prefer to see with my own eyes what you're capable of before hiring you again in the future."
"Now as for this place, it's kind of risky, which is the only reason I haven't gone alone already, I wanted some insurance before entering." She'd pause, not really sure how to bring up the fact it was indeed a dangerous dungeon that may result in both their deaths if they were not careful, "If it wasn't for the fact that there have been those that have successfully travelled inside before and returned with hordes of treasure, I wouldn't even consider it, but..." She'd pause taking in a deep breath, "Apparently there's a dungeon on the edge of the country and if we were to make it through we'd both be able to exit with a small fortune. I can't say how much it would be, but whatever you can carry out with you, is all yours and will be considered your payment for escorting me." Lilliana finally exhaled, she'd opened up now with exactly what she wanted, a mercenary figure to ensure her safety in return for treasure and future work.
It would help them both that was certain, and if it worked out well they could even try some other places together, whenever the two of them were once more in need of money. However, it probably wasn't the kind of work he was used to, after all he probably trained for more than simple protection services. Still, money was money, if he wasn't stupid he would accept the work, unless he was too scared to enter a dungeon. Not that she would blame the man, they were notorious for being death traps.

Jin was finishing up his decently tasting pancakes as his potential new partner was continuing, with a nice full meal the rogue was satisfied now. He chugged down the rest of his milk and listened to what Lily had to say. She was describing a dungeon, Jin had heard of them before not to much but enough in passing conversations. He had heard word that they were very dangerous and should not be taken lightly. Lily's words on the topic confirmed it, she stated it was risky. What was reward without risk? If they could leave with a small fortune it was probably worth it giving this dungeon a shot. Considering Jin's pockets right now, he was pretty tempted to go on this dungeon.
He was thinking a bit as she spoke about what he wanted to do exactly, his thoughts went to very different points. Could this be a set up? Or a trap? Highly unlikely, but could be. She bought him pancakes, surely she wasn't trying to set up him after buying him pancakes. Only the truly evil would do such a thing, and surely this girl was not that he thought. But one things she said did stick with him, a very important fact that he would make a note to remember for the future. She was a baker.
Jin rubbed his chin a little as he thought about what he wanted to do. This dungeon was sounding worth it, he always wanted to test himself with a dungeon to see how well would he fair. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to do just that. The young rogue was most likely going to take her up on her offer, but he had a just a few conditions. "This dungeon sounds like it could be worth it, I'm tempted." he said simply his eyes meeting hers again. "But I do have one condition..." Jin let his words linger a bit, as a wicked smirk appeared on his lips. It would seem the rogue had something pretty devilish in mind as a condition.
"Once we complete this dungeon you speak of...you must bake something for me." Jin finally said his wicked smirk, turning into a more wholesome smile.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]Lilliana could feel the excitement creep into her chest as Lee agreed to join her venture into the dangerous dungeon. Finally, she was going to be able to start proving herself and make a reputation for herself as a strong mage before the next magic knight exams. If people knew of her before it even began she would land herself into at squad for sure, then her life would become ever increasingly easier. However, she would keep the anticipation she felt to herself as he brought up having a condition. Her brain started racing as she awaited to hear what he had to say.
Hopefully it wouldn't be something out of her reach, perhaps he wanted to be paid something up front as a show of good will despite her already feeding him? It was within her budget, but she wasn't really fond of paying someone before a job was completed, they might just try to take off with the money. Fortunately, her fears would wash away, replaced instead with a small sensation of embarrassment, shown through her cheeks tinging an ever so slight pink as the blood rushed to her face. He wanted her to bake for him? It was an odd request, simple, but odd. It was definitely something within her power, although she would have to ask the actual owner of the bakery for permission to use some of the ingredients of course, meaning it would probably come out of her pay check. However, she was about to make more than enough to pay for such a trivial thing should they be successful in their endeavour.
"T-That seems reasonable." The bubble mage stuttered slightly, her confidence faulting for the first time since they had started their meeting. She wasn't a bad cook by any means, she wouldn't have landed her job if she was, but it was still nerve wracking to think someone would be judging her specifically on her abilities. "Well if that's everything..." Her eyes would dart to the side momentarily, hoping that he wouldn't add anything extra, he had said 'one' condition after all, "Shall we head off now? Or would you prefer a day to prepare?" She'd enquire, figuring if she had to she could afford to spend one night in this inn and reconvene the next day so he could gather any materials or tools he may wish to bring along. Lilliana herself had already brought along all she assumed she'd need.

Jin Zhongli
Jin would try his best, but after just a few moments looking at Lilly when she heard his request he had to laugh. The young rogue just started laughing after hearing her response. It was pretty obvious she was not expecting that kind of request, who would honestly? But these kind of moments and awkward interactions make Jin's day. His sense of humor was vast and at times just odd. Even if the jokes weren't that funny, he would still somehow get a blast out of it.
This was smaller though, his intention was just to see her reaction. Usually in conversations like this, a final request usually meant money or other forms of payment. While Jin liked getting paid, and his pockets were kind of empty. His main interest was tasting this girls baking skills, a decent partner for the future that can bake? Jin had to make sure it wasn't to good to be true. Getting a good look at her reaction, the pink haired mage was obviously taken back. "Ahahahaaa sorry sorry. Just wanted to see your reaction. These kind of conversations are so serious...gotta lighten up the mood sometimes. You know?" Jin joked stretching his arms out.
"Give me a day. I like to prepare for things like this, rather than just jump in. It sounds fun though, I promise not to bail." Jin said now standing up. "Thanks for the meal. Oh! I need a name and location of this dungeon if you don't mind." the rogue asked as he stuffed his hands into his pants pockets.

[attr="class","hanatextd"]His laughter at her own embarrassment only made the bubble mage feel even more uncomfortable at the thought of baking for him. Her heart only racing faster as she grew more anxious as he apologised for making her feel as such. She had come here and spoken with such confidence until now, she couldn't let her façade disappear now they had come to an agreement. Lilliana took a deep breath to calm herself, regaining her composure as best as she could. It seemed he wasn't quite ready to leave immediately, she had expected as much, her request had been rather sudden.
"I believe it is known by the locals of the area as the Quintep Tower and from the rumours I have heard it is located on the border between the diamond kingdom and our own along the western side within the forsaken region." The young lady explained, the exact location wasn't entirely known to her as she hadn't been there before, but she was fairly certain that such a huge tower would more or less stick out like a sore thumb in the previously war ravaged area. "Well, if that's everything for today, I'll be on may way for today and look forward to working with you tomorrow." The pink haired mage would nod, lifting her glass and downing what remained of her beverage before preparing to stand and take her leave.
