It would seem like the silver-haired girl's words had hit quite a few of the wrong buttons as the brunette before he went off on a tirade and cussing more than most sailors did. Not once has she implied she knew how he felt about what happened about Kikka or what he personally had experienced. Not once had she stated that she knew in great detail anything that had gone on, she spoke of rumours. "Are you finished throwing your tantrum like a toddler?" she asked putting the scythe back down where she had originally found it "I never once said I understood how you do or should feel, I never even implied such a thing. It would be insensitive for me to ever cross that line so get that damned straight." she wasn't happy at what she was being accused of and she was going to make sure to set that record straight.
"I never implied that I was there during the time that it happened, but I did see the aftermath and sent the aid that I could." she said holding her arm and looking to the side, she had done it from her own funds without her father knowing. She had secured temporary accommodation for young families and those expecting children. She was wealthy sure but she could only do so much before questions would be asked. "It wasn't much but I at least tried to ease the suffering of the survivors, but your right a spoiled rich kid like myself knows nothing of pain or suffering." she hissed her eyes showing she did understand it just not on such a grand scale as he did. Sure, she had everything she could want but her father was still cold, uncaring and cruel when he wanted to be.
She closed her eyes and let out a frustrated sigh "I didn't get to sit around much and talk with the girls, my father had higher expectations of me." she said coldly "So, yes I heard rumours it's part of my everyday life thanks to my social status but no I wasn't sitting on my ass and enjoying the weather." her voice was dripping with venom her eyes stern and cold as she looked at him. This wasn't a side of her that showed often but she wasn't about to allow herself to be insulted by some idiot commoner who believed that he knew her and her life just because she was rich. "When I heard the rumours and as soon as I could like I said I sent aid, I helped a little by healing the injured before coming here." she had specifically made the detour to do it.
"Look, she might have lost and left but I'm sure she had her reasons. I made my assessment on how you spoke of her before and what I heard of her myself. That is why I can still say she didn't abandon or betray you or the town." her voice was softer "I don't know what happened but there are many rumours as to why what happened, happened but no one will speak about it so the rumours aren't just about to go away. She was from a renowned family and was a vice-captain of course people are going to talk when things happen." she sighed and shook her head feeling like she would have more luck talking to a brick wall than the hothead in front of her. "You've already had so many condolences and I've already given mine so I'm not going to say it again." she said turning away from him slightly.
"Yes, I don't know what it's like to have to do those things and I pray I never will, but, death eventually comes to all and not everyone is going to be lucky enough to die at a ripe old age peacefully." she wasn't trying to be mean when she said that, it was just a universal truth. She eventually turned to face him "You are half wrong there, I personally don't understand as I wasn't there but there were people who were there who will completely understand the anger and grief you yourself are going through. There will be people worried about you due to everything that happened, like the little sibling you fight so dearly to make a brighter world for." her voice was soft as were her eyes, she wasn't being malicious she didn't know the younger sibling he had shown that gentleness for only moments ago was dead.
She stood her ground as he walked towards her, she knew he was stronger but she wasn't about to allow herself to be intimidated her eyes narrowing slightly. "We run in the same social circles or did you forget that." she said her voice cold showing she wasn't going to be told what she did or didn't know within the world that she grew up in. "We all die, I've already told you that some quicker than others more so when they shouldn't be in a certain place." she rolled her eyes a little "She's skilled at healing and from my understanding tactics but she's a pacifist. It is true that her gifts in both those aspects make her valuable the latter makes her a target and that is why she will be aimed for." She looked him dead in the eye as she spoke.
"She's a valuable asset for either side of a conflict and if they can't obtain her they will try to kill her because they will not want those specialities used against them." she said it was clear she wasn't trying to be a bitch about it but she was being realistic "She can still do those things from the backline where she's safe and can be protected but on the frontlines, she's as much of a hindrance as helpful." she said tilting her head "why because she's willing to endanger others to try and help people? if that makes someone twice the knight I'll be happy to pass." she said turning away from him and starting to walk away after he said bye to her and insisted on calling her 'noble girl' again. It was then he tried to get her attention by asking questions but she was in no mood to answer them.
She ignored him as he said her last name, even saying that she knew his due to the noble gossip. She was quite sure no one in her circle knew who he was outside of those who served as a magic knight and those who did wouldn't care. She headed inside and followed the path they had taken as she headed towards the front door. He had spoken her fathers name and she stopped for a moment but continued on again without so much as a word to him on the matter. He had made assumptions about her where she hadn't made any about him, she could have been more sensitive she realized that but she hadn't attacked his town, the people he lost or even the vice-captain he had looked up to. She told him her point of view on Artemis from what she understood. This day was going from bad to worse, she should likely go and see her father and just get that dealt with to put the cherry on this clusterfuck of a cake.
