[attr="class","silasreescroll"]Taiyo looked at Viera skeptically as she called him Tai-Tai. He thought his nickname was just Tai. Either way, she seemed happy with it and so it didn’t bother him much. He looked at Viera as she did her thing with her mana and created a map. It was such an interesting sight to the Vermillion heir, the way her magic worked. Was it ink magic or something similar? Whatever it was, Taiyo found it cool.
[break][break]
You have cool looking magic. How did you just envision it and draw like that creating this map? I know it’s rooted into your magical abilities but… how?
[break][break]
After she gave her answer, Taiyo would look at the map and chart a course to find the other villagers. If we follow this path, due to how easy it should be to scale the mountain and return, we have a higher chance of running into the other villagers. Since they were heading up into a colder atmosphere and with the amount of snow falling, it would be impossible for them to fly on their brooms. The only solution was to walk all the way. That didn’t defer Taiyo one bit.
[break][break]
Taiyo began walking the path he charted with Viera’s map, creating a sort of movement rhythm so not only they could keep their momentum up but also so they would remain warm enough. The mana skin around them and also Taiyo’s sun magic was a huge contributor for them staying warm as well. If the villagers were cold when they found them, Taiyo would be happy to help them warm up before making their journey back down. As they got higher, it got harder to move which made Taiyo think that maybe the villagers really were unable to make the trip back. From what I can see here, it’s getting hard to move so maybe the villagers found a cave or something to wait in until this snowstorm passed.
[break][break]
As they kept trudging through the snow up the mountain, a small opening became visible. It was the entrance to a cave. As Taiyo got even closer, he saw people inside and from the looks of it, they were the villagers who hadn’t returned. It was time to help them get home. Upon getting inside the cave, Taiyo waved his hand and smiled at the villagers. Hi there, my name is Taiyo Vermillion of the Crimson Lion Kings Magic Squad and this is my partner, Viera Dares. Hikari sent us to help you get home. Don’t worry, we will keep you safe and for those that need some warmth, I can assist with that.
[break][break]
From the outside of the cave, a small pack of wolves began making their way to find shelter. Finding the entrance of the cave, they snarled at the humans that occupied the space, ready to pick a fight in order to have the space. The four of the wolves bared their teeth at Taiyo, Viera and the villagers.
Viera said nothing as Tai-Tai gave her a strange look as she added the second Tai to his nickname but she had to concentrate on finishing the map in front of her of the area to help them. With it completed Tai Tai said her magic looked cool and asked what type of magic it was, he hinted at what it could possibly be and he was right yet wrong at the same time.
“ Scribble. My magic is called scribble, it’s like a hybrid of paint and ink magic. It allows anything I write or scribble to come alive, as someone that loves to draws and visualize a lot I can write maps because it’s just something that comes natural to me with how much I draw, think of it as imagining a hot steamy plate of meat, just as one can visualize that clearly I can do that with the things I draw, my magic helps makes it real.” Viera said explaining her magic for the first time ever really
After telling him that they began to chart a course, Taiyo focused on finding the easiest route up but even then the snowfall would make the travel up and even the travel down that much harder. Taiyo magic was keeping them warm but Viera felt it was time for her to show what the experience with Bengal gave her. Grimoire opening as they moved up the mountain Viera drew a pair of lion claws that hung in the air on each side, as they moved up the claws dug into the snow lifting huge piles up and throwing it to their sides, with Taiyo sun magic she was essentially trying to lessen the burden of returning back down by making a path with the least amount of snow as possible
Finally they made it far enough up to see a cave, her magic registering distinct human mana signatures. Walking into the cave they would find the lost villagers and as Taiyo did the talking Viera could hear the sound of crunching snow coming from behind them. Turning she would see a pack of wolves snarling at them, “We have company Taiyo” Viera said but smirked as the claws she was using earlier shrunk to half the size as it hovered over her hands like makeshift claws. “I’ll hold them off and you focus on warming the villagers.”
[attr="class","silasreescroll"]With the villagers behind him and Viera volunteering to handle the beasts that opposed them, Taiyo nodded and tried to lead the villagers away from the beasts. He also needed to keep them safe. He had a plan to keep the animals at bay long enough for the villagers to begin their trek down the mountains. He was going to blind them and let the villagers rush out of the cave. Vie, Villagers, cover your eyes. This one is going to be very bright. It will give us some time to move. Also Vie, I think if we worked together, we can take them down faster. Also, I think having your magic give us a map we can find the best way to go down the mountain.
[break][break]
With enough time of warning and hope that everyone was covering their eyes, Taiyo drew out his magic from within. He was shining bright with solar power, creating a solar flare. Unable to handle the light shining so bright at them, the beasts growled. These growls were more of pain than they were of aggression which meant that the light was irritating them. Seeing it’s success, Taiyo turned up the light even more. With them blinded, when I turn off the light they will still be unable to see for a little while. In that time, we can strike them down and you can pull up a map for us to chart a way down.
[break][break]
As soon as the solar flare was taken off, Taiyo’s grimoire began floating beside him. As the pages turned to a spell, a smile appeared on his face. Solar Magic: Solaris Reinforcement He got into a fighting stance as he spoke the name of the spell. With the solar aura that surrounded him, he dashed at one of the beasts, slamming his fists on it’s nose twice, followed by an uppercut and then a side kick, taking it down. As he moved to one of the others, he jumped over it, backflip kicking it to the floor. With it on the snowy flow and him in the air, he positioned himself to drive his fist through it’s torso. Pile Driving right into the beast, he stood up. Just to make sure it won’t get up after that… Solar Magic: Solaris Illumination! His grimoire hovered next to him and turned to the page of his next spell.
[break][break]
With solar energy charged in his palms, he blasted the beast below him once and then he shot one of the two remaining wolves with his extra solar blast (by the ammo rules). Having taken down half of the beasts and wounding one of the remaining, he deactivated his reinforcement spell, letting the aura dissipate. They’re all yours Vie! Finish it out!
[break][break]
After the beasts were down, if Viera took care of the other two, Taiyo would approach her and smile. We make quite the team, you and I. Can you pull up a map for us so I can chart the best path from here? I’m sure these villagers would like to take the quickest route possible to get home and I wouldn’t mind being near a campfire.

Trudging through the snow, Viera and Taiyo fisnlly found the civilians, warm enough to still feel her hands thanks to Taiyo special heat magic. Finding the civilians they had to wait first for Taiyo magic to heat them up enough, the trek down even with her mapping skills was going to provide a challenge still, especially to civilians that didn't train their bodies.
Staying put Viera also soaked in Taiyo heat magic and then it was time to go, preparing to go back down had taken some time, wolves taking the opportunity to block off the entrance attempting to block their path out. Feeling confident Viera offered to fight first to allow Taiyo more time. Taiyo however had other plans, quickly explaining he was going to blind the wolves and in that time he and her should take them out and get the civilians out before the wolves came too. "That's a better plan, I'll follow your lead"
While Taiyo began building up light little by little Viera kept her distance, grimoire floating in the air as she traced in front of her drawing, a large tail fin extending sideways into a dolphin like body, a horn placed on top of its head as Viera finished her scribble, the still depiction turning towards the wolves as it charged head first, horn impaling one of the wolves, followed by a body slam into another. At this point the light that had been building hurt her eyes a bit so she knew what was about to happen and closed them, the villagers doing the same.
Finally a brilliant flash happened and once Viera opened her eyes she saw the wolves were practically blinded, smiling she created another narwhal having the two swim through the air impaling and slamming wolves as Taiyo dealt with the other half. When the amount of wolves fighting dropped to one hand Viera knew they were beaten, and they didn't need to linger. "We got enough of them, let's go." Viera said as Taiyo urged her to finish the last of them , she didn't want to since she was just stopping them from killing civilians, they couldn't now so no need to continue.
Like earlier Viera walked as her ink pen continued to draw the area around her flooded with her Mana, tracking the safest route for their group back down the mountain.

[attr="class","silasreescroll"]Once Taiyo had the safest route for them to travel, he made sure that they were kept warm as they trek down the mountain. As the blistering winds raged against them, the young Vermillion heir increased the heat he was outputting so that he could keep the villagers warm. When they finally got to the end of the mountain, he stepped aside and let each villager pass before joining the villagers by the fire that was now burning since they left. The young male walked up to the son of the village head, Hikari Flaniston.
[break][break]
”I see you have returned. Lord Taiyo and Miss Viera. Thank you very much for going up the mountain and finding the villagers. We can’t thank you enough for ensuring their safety but please accept this small token of our appreciation. He gave Taiyo a small parcel insisting that he took it. ”You can find something in there as Miss Viera. Feel free to stick around for the bonfire.
[break][break]
A smile flashed on the Vermillion’s face. Thank you. We will be around. After a while of singing songs and having fun around the bonfire, Taiyo thought it was time to return to the base so that the captain would know they completed the mission. After flying back to the base, he turned in the mission and opened the parcel, pulling a snowflake themed necklace from it which he gave to Viera and then another snowflake necklace which he figured he’d give to Lucia. I’d see you around Vie. Also, I think I owe you a treat.
