Echo would looked very confused as the man spoke. It seemed like so much was happening all at once and Echo had no clue what to make of any of it. The young boy would begin to try and think of a way he could possibly escape from the current location, however he knew it was no point. The fact that these two could sneak up on him to begin with spelled trouble. The worst case was that even if he did manage to escape these two would find him again and do the exact same thing. Echo would then decide that it would be best if he played along with the situation for now. “So you are the Collector? So who is this group that you work for I’m curious to know.”

The mysterious figure would say “I can tell you everything you want to know. Not only that but I can also make your one wish in this world come true, your wish to kill your father…” The small home would then go silent as the sound of a thunderclap could be heard after the man spoke. “How do you know I wanna kill my father? How do you even know me or anything about me?” Echo would say after the noise level returned to normal. The Collector laughed a bit before he would walk up to Echo and stoop down in front of him to match his current position.

The Collector had taken a hand and put it behind his back, and after a few moments would bring it back within view now holding Echo’s grimoire. “Now you see my dear boy I know almost everything about you… however if you wish to know more about me, my organization, or how I can help with your dream I need you to do something for me first. Now I wanna trust you I really do, sadly I don’t so imma need some reassurance.” The man’s voice would drag off under the sound of the rain from outside.

The man would throw the grimoire at Echo, believing the young boy not to be stupid enough to try anything. He would then stand and return to his original position on the opposite side of the room before saying “Take this grimoire of your’s and go be useful. I think we shall start things here in Sosshi. Head back into town and go kill a few guards or something, that should satisfy me a bit.” Echo would secure his grimoire back on his person before he would finally make his way to his feet.

“So if I kill a few guards you will tell me what I wish to know? If I do it you will help me gain more power so I can kill him?” The look on Echo’s face had went from blank and nonbearing to angry and serious very fast. The thought of actually being able to kill his father got the young teen excited, very excited at that. Echo would look at the featureless man and say “Fine I will do it…” The Collector would say “Excellent, when you finish make sure you bring back one of their uniforms, we will need it later.” Before he would snap his finger’s and fade to dust, along with him the woman he called Enforcer B would also turn to dust and vanish.

Echo would look with confusion as he had finally realized that he was being talked to by means of communication magic, and the people he was talking to were never actually there. The boy let out a sigh before he would make his way out the house and start heading back to Sosshi. As he walked the trail at night he thought deeply about the events that had just happened, and if his goal was worth going down such a dark and unknown path for. After a good chunk of time spent thinking and walking Echo had made up his mind by the time he had arrived back to Sosshi.

As he made his way into the town he would see a tattered piece of white cloth blowing in the wind. Echo would manage to catch the cloth as it blew by and tied it up around his face, leaving only room for a eye opening. After concealing his face due to fear of being recognized, he would begin to search for his “victims”.

As he walked more and more into the town Echo would finally come across a group of guards who were out on patrol. The guards although on patrol seemed pretty relaxed and chill, in other words they had their guard down and Echo would be sure to take advantage. The marksman made his way to a rooftop next to where the guards were standing in the street. The roof had good lines of sight on all three of the men, and there was a pipe that could be used to get to the ground if need be.

Echo would release his grimoire from its carrying pouch on his backside, before it would start floating in the air next to him. After a few brief moments the pages of the book would spin and flip until it got to the page of the spell Echo wanted. The book began to glow a bright white color before an arrow would appear in front of Echo. With a simple flick of his finger he would send the arrow flying at one of the three guards.

The arrow would knock the guard off his feet but would put the spotlight directly on Echo. The teenage boy would look at the guards before he would say “Your sacrifice shall not be in vain, this is but a means to an end.” Echo then made his way down the pipe back to the ground level so that he could fight the guards. The two guards who weren’t hit would rush Echo immediately following his climb down, while the guard who was already his slowly made his way up to his feet.

Echo used his superior speed to blitz the rushing guards, giving them each one punch each. While he had removed the two guards with slight injuries from play(for a few moments) , Echo made his way over to the guard he shot upon his entrance. The man was still struggling to get up, however Echo would put an end to his suffering by punching him repeatedly(4 times) in the face before snapping his neck. After Echo had killed the first man the second two went into a panic, basically screaming for their life. Their screams did nothing but boost Echo’s desire to do it. It was almost as if he looked at this like he was hunting wild animals, and the sounds of their pain filled screams always sounded good during the hunt.
