Jirou smiled as he stood before the wicker basket. It was woven from Golden Milkweed and intertwinned with silver wicker leaves and stems. The young second child of the Yuiee family had been given the task of creating and sending a congradulatory basket to the two newest royal families, a way to insure that the yuiee family was in as good a standing as possible with the new Royalty. He had spent nearly 2 weeks buying and preparing supplies and items for the basket, each item hand made, or bought from well known creators and mages. He smiled softly as his blue eyes examined each gift and parcel. He placed soft red colored straw into the bottom of the basket, and placed 4 small boxes each containing a candied orange blossom and a sour plum candy center.
He traced his hands over the 5th box, a gift for himself witht he other two he had bought being sent to Hino and Ozma as a gift from their brother. He opened the box and removed the sweet and sour treat and with ease he placed it on his tongue. He closed his eyes as he savored the taste, before crunching the sweet treat and moving to the next parcel. He laid the dark chocolate spheres and the sweet white chocolate cubes in their prestine wooden box into the soft red straw, careful not to disturb the first three boxes. Along side the wooden box he placed an entire wheel of ironwood smoked cheese made from the finest goats milk money could buy. Next to that he placed a hand carved bamboo wood cutting board alongside the hand sharpened cheese knife.
Using the box of chocolates as support, Jirou placed the salmonberry wine in its bottle and chuckled to himself. The Salmonberrys were a hard to grow and even harder to turn into wine fruit then most would find doable, However, for Jirou, it was the only wine worth giving. Its salmon pink color was unique to the wine, and the slightly salty, fruity taste lingered with an unmistakably earthy tone that made it clear the wine was made with not only the finest of the berries, but that it was also made using the oldest techniques and without any magic involvement at all. He hoped they would appreciate the wine, it was one of his favorites. He would then place the final gift, a good luck plaque, written and carvened in the wood of a wisteria tree. It was a magical charm to bring good luck and fortune to the new Royalty.
After finishing it and making sure everything was secure he made his way to from the family compound by way of palaquinn, the beautiful man powered vehicle was his favorite way to travel. He sat with the basket suspended by a special magic ment to such deliveries. So that even if the palaquin moves, the gift would not be disturbed. Jirou had to admit, as he sat in comfort and without worry, his smile could not help but show as he watched the servent carry his weight and the wooden cart. It made him happy to put these people in their proper place. They would make their way to the main city of the Carrion kingdom and with proper movements they made their way to the estate of the Ravencrests. Jirou would snap his fingers and the servents would lay a path of cloth for him to walk upon to the door. He would snap again as the servent knocked and another handed Jirou the gift basket before humbling bowing. He would await an answer at the door.

It had been a little over a month since a surprise announcement had been made, her own captain's family had been made into a main noble house to thank them for their years of service to the kingdom, during that same announcement it was also announced that her father and elder brother Ozma's former vice captain's family had ascended to the status of lesser royals for their unshakable loyalty and dedication to the kingdom of Clover. From the small number of rumours she had heard, the Ravencrest would always put the safety of the kingdom above everything else, even their own kin. She didn't fully agree with sacrificing people but that was the pacifist in her. She, did, however, understand it from a tactical point of view that the lives of the few shouldn't outweigh the life of the many even if one's own family were in that smaller margin.
She could only imagine the mourning they would go through if it ever came to that, but, they were a more militant family from what she understood in comparison to most nobility. She understood why such families were needed, it just made her uneasy but she didn't allow that to affect her judgement. It had been on her mind for a while to attempt to forge a friendship with the Ravencrest but she was unsure if it was her place to do it, she wasn't the head of her family nor was she its heir. Out of the three Yuiee children, she was the most political savvy as she had spent her childhood learning how to navigate the red tape of nobility as much as she did a battlefield. Like in a battle politics had an ebb and flow sometimes so subtle that if you didn't know what you were doing you'd make enemies without knowing it.
After a few weeks, she decided that she would extend an olive branch to start the foundations between her family and the Ravencrest. She knew there was etiquette and traditions that had to be observed, one couldn't just turn up to another noble's estate and think there wouldn't be consequences. There was also the fact if one didn't send notice beforehand then the person they were wishing to meet might not even be there so insult could be given for absolutely no reason. Two weeks before she wished to make her visit she send Luli with a letter to Carrion with an escort to deliver the message. Within a few days, she was being handed a response holding the Ravencrest family symbol. Upon breaking the wax seal and reading the letter it was an approval of the audience, a time and a date to be there.
From that moment she started doing some research on the Ravencrest as a whole as she didn't want to cause any insult to the family. She found out that the head of the family liked a very rare wine in general but the year of that wine was harder still to come by. She had sent word that she was looking for a bottle of the wine and would pay handsomely for a bottle. She didn't know the flower that Lydia preferred so it would make her next gift a little harder to prepare, after many backwards and forwards she decided on getting a daliah carved out of several colours of jade. Each colour had its own meaning much like the flower itself did so thought it would be a perfect gift for the head of the house. There was of course that was needed.
She started to weave a basket out of bamboo, as she found out what tea type the head preferred. She knew the woman used to the best of everything and so she would make sure that the tea was of the same quality that she herself drank, she also had created a unique blend of a floral green tea and requested an orange blossom honey be prepared to go with it. Everything was coming together but she knew that it would be touch and go on the first two items, luckily enough the wine had been found and procured and the crafters had managed to fulfil the request within the time given. The basket was inlayed with a bluish-lilac colour that had a clear pattern of the wisteria flower from what color the silk matched. Carefully she placed the wine within the basket first, she then put the silk wrapped jade daliah carving in next and put it away.
On the day of the meeting, she got up well before dawn to create snacks, candies and treats. This she knew would be quite hit and miss as she had no idea if the other had a sweet tooth or not, but then some of what she was bringing were savoury. Even if it missed the mark the thought and intention had been there as she herself had made them, she also heard that the Ravencrest heir was originally from a place like her families homeland so he may enjoy them if nothing else. When done and cooled she wrapped them carefully in bamboo food containers before placing them into her basket. As she was almost finished she requested a carriage, this caught many off guard as it was traditional for someone of her status to use a palaquin but she knew that her world and Clover were different.
Also, she knew enough about the Ravencrest to know they would be less than happy with such transportation even if they understood it was more her families customs. She believed since she was going to them, then she should and would make the effort to do what would be respectful by the families standards. Then again she disliked taking palaquin, it reminded her just how isolated she was to the world. She already knew Luli and Junjie would be ready and within the carriage awaiting her arrival. It was just the way of things, if she wished to leave they would be accompanying her. It frustrated her but she knew she was going to a place she had never been before and though she was growing in defence she would never be an offensive mage and it worried the pair to no end, which she understood.
Before long she was on her way to the main Ravencrest estate within Carrion, it did worry Junjie that the province was within the fringe between Clover and Spade. Hinota explained to the pair that the Ravencrest were the vanguard for this part of the fringe, it couldn't be helped, the pair still didn't like it but they didn't question it knowing it was a job that someone was going to have to do. On the way, the doll-like mage busied herself by weaving wisteria into certain places of the basket. "Luli did you remember the peaches?" she inquired, the woman nodded and held out a small box of peaches, Hinota placed four into the basket carefully before covering it in the matching silk she had inlayed it with. She had to admit she was pleased with how the basket turned out and proud of herself for completing the project on her own.
It would take a few hours but they would eventually had made their way to the regal estate of the Ravencrest. As the carriage came to a stop an elderly man would be waiting as her carriage door was open, Junjie exited first helping Hinota out of the carriage first before helping his sister out. The man would bow just slightly, while she and Luli would put their hands to their side and bow in a more traditional way to her family Junjie bowed just slightly himself "I have an audience with Lady Lydia Ravencrest." she said holding out the letter with both hands. The man didn't need to see it as he had been awaiting the small group. "There's no need my lady, please follow me and I will take you to the lounge and alert Lady Ravencrest of your arrival." he said "Thank you I appreciate it." she said moving back to her carriage to get the basket.
"I will have one of the other members of staff sent to show your own where they can take the horses and rest themselves." he said Hinota would bow with a smile "Once again I thank you and your lady for being so accommodating." she said the trio following the man, what she saw next she didn't expect. She saw her elder brother Jirou and his own servants with weapons to their throat, she almost dropped the basket as her hands went to her mouth as she gasped. Instinctively Junjie moved in front of Hinota his hand going to the hilt of his weapon more defensive only willing to unsheath if there was an actual threat. "Lord Arata... please forgive my older brother for whatever slight he has done." she called out recognising one of the two people, she wasn't too sure about the woman with the axe but was informed that she was the youngest of the four generals here by Luli. The young woman was called Norie. She honestly didn't like how this was going but there was nothing she could do but try to deescalate the situation.

[attr="class","florencetext"] It had been a few years at this point since the Ravencrest estate was on such high alert. After all, Lydia even went so far as to ask two of the generals to stay within the estate grounds. While some might have seen such a thing like this as overkill The light mage wasn't taking any risk. Not if that meant putting Hania at risk after all he'd pushed himself to the point that the head of the Ravencrest family had to order him to stay in his room or personal library for the next few days. This was once again something she hadn't needed to do for years. On top of that, she had lost her glass magic in the fight against her father and gained another rare magic instead. That magic in question being beast aura. [break][break] Losing a magic one had for years would of course weaken them even a mage such as Lydia would need more than a few days to master a new element. With all of these things happening at once Lydia had no choice but to set the estate to high alert. The two generals watching over the home today were Norie and Arata. It was in all reality a very easy job for the two of them since they weren't assigned to the heir as winter was personally overseeing him and well someone would have to be crazy to try and attack Lydia even in her somewhat weakened state. They were mainly just around to deal with any unwanted guest while Lydia was over-training with her new magic more. It was around ten-thirty in the morning as the two generals were playing a game of cards while they waited for the youngest of the three Yuiee children to show up with her meeting for Lydia. Arata had of course met with the servant that deviled the request for the meeting and made note of her mana. [break][break] As they were halfway done with the card game they would both stop mid-hand as they picked up on two mana signatures. Norie would just give the shadow mage a look to see if it was the guest they were waiting for. However, Arata would shake his head meaning they were an unwelcome guest. Without a word, the two mages would grab their weapons before the shadow mage covered them in an illusion that covered all the senses except for sight. They would then move out the side entrance and each getting in position Norie would move beside the servent while Arata moved behind Jirou. As the illusion dropped both unwelcomed guests would see the generals appear before them with weapons coated in magic at their necks. Arata would then speak up. "State your name and reason for being here. Don't try and then funny or we'll kill you where you stand." [break][break] However, before they could get an answer they would pick up on another set of mana signatures and Hinota would speak to Arata stating it was her brother. The shadow mage would then lower his blade putting it back and nodding to Norie to do the same. "You don't need to call me lord Lady Hinota. After all, I'm of common birth. You'll have to forgive us for what just happened with everything that's going on the estate is on high alert and your brother showed up without sending word first." The shadow mage would then do a bow that was traditional to where they came from. Norie unsure what was going on would do the same. "I'll send word to Lydia right away to let her know you've arrived." [break][break] With that, the shadow mage would use his magic and send a message to fill Lydia in about everything that happened. As Lydia found out what happened she couldn't help but let out a small laugh before heading inside to wash up after her extra training. "Lydia just needs a few minutes to clean up then she'll be out. Is there anything we can get while you wait?" Assuming they didn't Arata would then walk over to Junjie looking at the sword at his side. "Do you mind if I see your blade for a moment I'd love to take a look at it?" If the other man agreed Arata would look over the sword. [break][break] It was expertly made in fact it was a perfect blade in every way. However, what really caught the shadow mage's eye was the fact it was made by the ClearBlade family. It was said that weapons made by the Clearblade's rivaled even that of Ravencrest made weapons. If that was true or not no one really knew as it would take an expert craftsman. "Oh a ClearBlade made weapon. This is quite an amazing sword you have. One couldn't ask for a better-made weapon except maybe a blade made by the Ravencrest. I of course mean no disrespect towards you or your blade. [break][break] After all, it's still a perfect weapon and far easy to get than one made by Lady Lydia's family." Arata would then hand the blade back to its own before offering his own blade for the man to look at. Others might have thought it was a way of showing off but to swordsmen not only was it only fair and respectful to show another your blade after they let you see their own it was also a sign of respect. The blade would of course look just as expertly crafted as Junjie's however the one main very key difference other than it being made to suit Arata would be the symbol showing it was a blade forged by the Ravencrest. After the two men finished looking over their swords Lydia herself would make her appearance. She was wearing a light purple shirt and shorts that went down to her upper thighs that matched in color. Her hair instead of being in its normal braid would be pulled back in a ponytail showing her elven ears. [break][break] The first thing that would catch her attention was the smell of peaches even if they have covered up in the basket thanks to her new element enhancing her sense to be more on par with that of an animal. Do I smell peaches? Sorry, forget I asked sorry I'm a little late Lady Hinota I got caught up in some training and lost track of time. Her gaze would then shift to Jirou. You must be the uninvited guest am I correct? Lydia would then notice the palanquin in her front yard. Her expression would then change to one of disgust and slight anger. [break][break] She would then look Jirou in the eyes making it clear she was serious about what she was saying. Is my family a joke to you? Not only do you show to my family estate uninvited but you bring a palanquin as well. While that might be custom for your family had you researched like your sister did you'd know it's highly respectful to my family. I won't tell you again not to bring that to my kingdom or family estate ever again. If I see you in one around here again you will be walking home do I make myself clear.

The quick and sudden movement nearly caused Jirous instincts to fight back, his lips curled to speak the defensive spells activation, but at the sudden words of the man who held the blade to his throat he stopped mid action. Jirous Magic aura flared a bit, indicating his true feelings to the situation. But he didn’t let it get him in trouble as he calmed it down right away. It wasn’t until the guards turned to face his sister that he realized today was also the day his sister was to visit them on behalf of the family. He had been so busy preparing the gift he had lost track of time. Thought he kept his silence and waited until the Lady of the Estate would arrive. Following his sighting of the Raven Lord Lydia, he could not help but be impressed by how high a standing a woman such as she could have, though he kept those thoughts to himself. After hearing her words He turned and spoke a soft word. One of the servants from the Palaquin approched and bowed humbly before translating what was said to their own language, Jirou then spoke to him in a strange eastern language that the servent translated.
“Forgive my master, He has been so preoccupied with preparing the gift that he neglected to send a letter of introduction however he assures that no ill will was meant by it, only that he put much thought into the gift. He also apologizes for disrespecting your customs. He humbly asks for your forgiveness in this matter and that he will have the palaquin removed from your kingdom right away.” the servent, ever loyal to Jirou then turned and barked an order in the language. “Cōngmáng! Bǎ tā cóng zhèlǐ ná zǒu!” quickly and rushed, yet wthout word of complaint the servants would stand and quickly pick the offending vessel up and quickly remove it from the kingdom. Jirou would be sour about that at a later date. The servant would then speak once more for Jirou. “My Master asked to be allowed to bow and traditionally celebrate your ascension into true Royalty, if that would please your Noble Lady.”
Jirou would politely smile at that point. “Forgive me, This language is…not…first.” he understood the common language perfectly fine, but he would never dare sully his tongue with it unless absolutely needed to.

Hinota smiled as she looked at Arata and his colleague she couldn't blame them for how they were currently acting, she knew Junjie would act the same way if her palace had received an uninvited guest. She couldn't believe her brother had been so foolish as to turn up to someone's home unannounced, it was basic etiquette for their family and one that seemed even Clover's nobility also followed, but that may have been because many of them were also magic knights and so they needed to make sure they would be available on the specified day. Other than that, they may have had other appointments that were far more pressing and many families had secrets so just wandering onto estate grounds especially the way he had was unacceptable. She had to admit she had ended up on the other Ravencrest estate once before when she was first allowed off the estate.
She had gotten separated from Elenor and so went to the closest estate to gain aid. She had been careful to make sure that no offence was taken, but then she looked like a frightened rabbit about to be eaten by a wolf. It had been the first of three times she had met Arata, he had been suspicious at first but between her small voice, trembling form and almost being in tears he quickly understood that she wasn't putting on any kind of act. He was kind and understanding with her and had helped her find her way back to Elenor, who later scolded her for wandering off on her own. She brought her sleeve covered hand to her mouth as she laughed at what Arata had said to her "Would you prefer elder brother then Lord Arata?" she teased playfully, she was the type of person to judge people on actions over blood.
He had been nothing but kind and helpful to her aiding each time they had met even though he could have kept walking on or turned her away. To her, this made him a noble soul and very much like an elder brother who was guiding a younger sibling from harms way in the hopes to keep them safe. She was unsure how Jirou would take her words but she didn't worry about that currently, he had caused some serious issues and she was beginning to worry how this was meeting was going to go as the day proceeded. She turned her gaze at the female general and bowed once more to her "Hello Lady Noire, your dress is beautiful. It suits you perfectly." she said, she wished she could wear such things but she would be so worried at what people would think if she did.
"His name is Jirou Yuiee and I don't have a clue why he is here." she said introducing her brother but sounding a little frustrated at the goings-on "Brother, what were you thinking just turning up at someone's home, are you trying to tarnish our families reputation?" she scolded, it was clear she was far from being happy though her voice was still gentle. She had said it in Clovian as she was under no disillusion that those around her would understand exactly what she was saying regardless. "And no Lord Arata, no insult was given by you nor by Lady Noire you were merely doing the task requested of you both, that would be like someone being angry at Junjie and Luli for doing their tasks. It is foolish. However, the insult given came from my family and for that, I do sincerely apologise." she knew it should be her brother doing so but she believed he had already done enough damage.
She returned the bows given to her bowing lower in apology, she was now trying her best to do damage control but it was hard when she didn't know how much insult had been taken by the family who controlled the estate. "Thank you Lady Noire, I appreciate it." her voice was warm, she looked between Arata and Junjie as a request was given, she knew how Junjie was with his weapon, it was an extension of himself, a part of his soul. Since she gifted it to him, it had never been out of his care. Junjie unsheathed his blade and offered it to Arata, the hand that would touch the blade covered in the fabric of his sleeve as to be careful not to tarnish the blade allowing it to be taken from him.
"Yes. It was gifted to me when I was very young by..." he paused for a moment as he thought of the correct way to address the young woman he protected, his every fibre was telling him to address her as if they were at home but he knew that she would rather not be addressed in such a way so it was quite the conflict for him. "My lady gifted it to me." he said calmly, Arata would have likely noticed the subtle movement he had given showing that he had an internal argument with himself during that brief pause. "It is the item I treasure more than any other." this was indeed truthful, it was clear that great care had been put into maintaining it, far above what a normal swordsman would do. Once it was handed back he would cut his thumb on the blade lightly.
It may have seemed silly to most, but, it was a reminder to him to not draw his sword unless truly required and its true purpose. "I didn't know the blacksmith of the blade, my lady wouldn't ever tell me. She just smiled sweetly." that had finished one mystery that he had been wondering about for several years. Given how tranquil and serene Hinota looked it was easy to imagine her smiling sweetly when giving a gift. She treasured those who were in her service and treated them as such, it drove most of her family mad she was sure and made those who served others in her family envious but she wasn't about to change how she was to fit anyone else. Soon enough after he sheathed his own blade he was offered Arata's to look at, with the same care when he offered his own to Arata, he took Arata's.
He looked over it very carefully "It is perfectly balanced, flawless to the naked eye, made with very pure metals and an unusual technique." he said before finally offering it back "You are a very lucky man to have such a blade bonded to your soul." He said with sincerity, of course, didn't know the way the blade was made, there was no way he could know such a thing "Perhaps you will give me the honour of a training bout while we are here so longs our ladies are fine with such a thing happening as are you." he requested "If not and you wish a friendly match we can arrange it for another time." he knew as he was always to be with Hinota that would make it quite difficult but he knew she would do her best to facilitate it if he wanted to train against another.
"No disrespect was given and none was taken, there is no need to apologise Arata." he said speaking to the other as an equal, in a sense they were, they both served another. Junjie believed he may not do it on such a grand scale as the dark-haired male but he still protected something precious. "I didn't know who crafted my blade until today as I stated, it was gifted to me by my lady." he didn't want to get into why Hinota got him a blade, it was still shameful for him but was glad she cared so much about him even at a young age that she would use her money to get such a thing crafted even though it went against her beliefs. It wouldn't be too long afterwards that Lydia herself made an appearance, as normal she would bow in her normal way.
Her hands daintily going to her left side and she bent her knees a little, Luli followed suit but dipped a bit lower, Junjie bowed with his right fist going into his left hand showing he was no threat. "Greetings to you on this day Lady Ravencrest." Hinota would say her voice was as gentle as ever. She covered her mouth with a sleeved hand as she chuckled and nodded "Yes, peaches symbolize immortality and unity within my family. I thought they would be a perfect part of the gift I brought with me, as I hope today can be the first step towards unity between your family and my own." her voice was respectful like she had done this type of thing before, that wasn't the case, it was the first time she had ever attempted to do this and she was nervous about that fact.
"Please think nothing of it Lady Ravencrest, it allowed Junjie to meet Lord Arata and for me to meet Lady Noire" she didn't show any signs of displeasure, she seemed quite content at the fashionably late arrival. "He is my elder brother Jirou Lady Ravencrest, I humbly apologise on my families behalf for his sudden intrusion to your home." She said bowing once again, she could sense the anger in the woman rising especially when the pink-haired head of the Ravencrest asked if her family was a joke. She bit her bottom lip as she knew the question wasn't for her, she had done everything the correct way and took a carriage from her home to their hostesses estate. She listened to her brother and gripped her sleeves "You have no right to be upset at them for your foolish actions, this world isn't like ours and to parade as if it is... that's just egotistical." she was so upset with him.
"Lady Ravencrest, I am sorry to ask you such a request but I don't suppose you have a spatial mage that could allow them to go home quickly. It is not their fault my brother was selfish and I wouldn't want them carrying that heavy thing home. So I humbly ask you have mercy on them and allow them a quick return home." her voice showed she truly meant her words, she didn't want them to suffer because of her family, she was the delicate soul that she likely had heard about. It wasn't every day a pacifist joined the magic knights after all. "I have not used my palanquin since I was six. I understood that it was tradition to do so, but I also realized the strain those carrying me around went under. I will also say, Luli made sure they were always compensated well and I vowed when I next stepped foot into one I would either be too injured I couldn't walk or It would be my wedding day." she said showing again she cared for those in her service.
It was almost like night and day between the siblings, she watched what happened next "Stop translating for him!" she demanded to the servant who was translating "You are insulting our hostess Jirou, we both know you fully understand what she is saying so stop acting as you have never been taught Clovian." her voice was level but it was clear she wasn't having any of his antics, it wasn't just his name that would be dragged through the mud but the entire families and she wouldn't allow it. "If you are going to keep this up you should get into my carriage and leave this instant, I can walk home but I will not allow any further insult to our hostess or shame to be brought on our family." she was holding her sleeves, it was something she did when anxious, upset, scared or trying to reassure and calm herself. "Stop speaking for him" she ordered caring little now.
"He can speak Clovian, he has his own voice, he isn't like Ozma now please go home with the others." she said she was clearly upset and ashamed of what was going on currently. "Jirou if this was home you'd be kowtowing, but you are lucky it isn't but I will tell mother and father of your behaviour when we return home, you are acting disgracefully. I am trying to foster a friendship with the noble family of Ravencrest and so far you have set back all efforts making it that much difficult, I would not be at all surprised if we were both sent away due to the blatant insult and disrespect given." she said she felt so ashamed right at that moment, she knew she was overstepping her place and she would deal with his ire later but for now it had to be said.
"Jirou, that is no excuse. You've had more chance to practice than I have being allowed off the estate when you liked where I was kept at home. You even helped me practice when I was little." The accents showed they weren't native to Clover but Hinota spoke the language perfectly well. "Also, there is no reason to speak in anything but Clovian because I can assure you, all three people of this estate will understand it. The heir to the Ravencrest's primary language is like ours after all." she wasn't meaning to come off creepy just that she did her research to prevent these types of issues happening.
[attr="class","florencetext"] It seemed that the unwanted guests against who Arata's sword was currently against didn't understand what was truly going on. The shadow mage would push the sword against Jirou's neck a bit more to show he wasn't joking. Luckily for the younger mage, he soon figured out what was going on and let his mana die down before he died himself. Hinota's comment had honestly caught the black-haired mage of the guard. Norie however would just let out a laugh. "There is no need to call me that either. Arata will work just fine much like Lydia I don't prefer titles such as lord or lady." As Hinota spoke to Norie the Raven-haired women would smile before speaking. [break][break] "Thank you however most people find it strange I wear this clothing in my line of work. However, honestly, no one would even think about attacking Lydia unless they have a death wish of course." The two generals would listen as Hinota introduce her brother and then apologized on behalf of her family. Arata would once again be the one to speak up. "You don't need to apologize to your family. Lydia won't hold his actions against your family as he wasn't sent here to represent them as far as we know." Arata would smile as Junjie spoke about his and Arata's sword and how lucky the shadow mage was to have the blade he did. [break][break] After all most people didn't even see a weapon made by the Ravencrest family in their life let alone own one. "I'd say we're both lucky to have the blades we do. As for the spar that's something you'd have to ask Lydia as I'm still on the job." As Lydia made her appearance the Hinota and her escorts would power to the head of the Ravencrest family which Lydia knew would happen even if she wasn't a fan of it. Lydia would give the younger women a soft smile as she spoke. Thank you Lady Hinota I appreciate the thought and just Lydia will be fine. Lydia's gaze would switch to the servant talking for Jirou for a moment before it switched back to Hintoa as she spoke against her brother. You don't need to apologize your family didn't insult me your brother did and still does by thinking I can't understand your home tongue. [break][break] As for the spatial mage, Norie can show them to the one at the estate. I'm not one to punish others for the mistakes of another. As Hinota spoke about not using a palanquin since she was six. The former vice-captain would just shake her head. It's more than just the strain it puts on them that I dislike. It's the fact it shows them as less than human that I dislike and no matter how much money you give them it doesn't change the fact you are treating them as if they are animals by making them carry you. Lydia and Arata would listen as Hino spoke out against her brother and how he was basically still just insulting Lydia. [break][break] The shadow mages hand would squeeze against the hilt of his sword as he was ready to strike Jirou. However, his grip would quickly release as he looks towards Lydia and noticed her eyes were starting to turn bright gold. Which wasn't good for Jirou. "Lady Hinota I recommend you, Junjie and Luli stand next to me." Lydia meanwhile would just lock eyes with Jirou her anger clearly not hidden at all. At first, she thought the kid was just a little dumb but if what his younger sister was saying was true then he knew exactly what he was doing and Lydia would piece the puzzle together. The light mage would then walk over to Jirou and before most people could see she would kick the back of her left leg. Not hard enough to break anything but hard enough to turn the leg numb forcing him to take a knee. [break][break] She would then look down at him with a look of degust on her face as if he wasn't even human and more of a bug to her. You're the kind of person I hate the most. Your just an arrogant prick who thinks he's better than everyone. However in reality your nothing more than a worthless ant who's weak and uses his family name to make yourself feel like your important when you aren't. Now listen very carefully little boy you have three choices. One you can just leave now. Second, you can actually like a decent and normal person and join us inside. Third, you can keep pissing me off and I can start breaking bones. Now hurry up and pick. Depending on the choice he made Lydia would turn back and face Hinota. Would you like to head inside for some tea?

[attr="class","polarPOSTIT"] Jirou let his smile dissapear as he realized the danger he was in, he cursed himself silently for not allowing himself to acknowledge his failing when it came to researching or discretion. He enjoyed a silver tongue but had no presence of mind when dealing with others like his little sister had. He often envied how she was, so sweet and kind, yet vicious when need be. he flinched as she yelled at his servant, and when she called him out he felt shame at his action, though if only for a single moment of fleeting time before his usual pride and vanity returned. the servent Obeyed and did not let a single other sound leave his lips, but he did not leave his masters side. Jirou looked at his sister with a warmth and love saying how proud he was with his eyes that she had the guts to stand up for herself and the family against someone above her in the family hierarchy, she was the only woman Jirou would take action like that from. he did expect to be punished for his action, but he did it with the intention to keep his family safe and without ties to a family not worth serving. But as he went to speak he would see the danger about to unfold. [break][break] Jirou couldn’t help but let his smile grow as he saw the same flash of gold in Lydias eyes, his sisters words had registered, but his desire to be able to see the strength of a true royal made his heart skip a beat. What was it that had driven him to come exactly, he had truely wanted to come to see just how much the Ravencrests leader had above him, and to say he found it glorious what he saw was beyond true. Certainly he hated her for the way she belittled him by being a woman in a higher standing, but he also loved her spirit and strength. The truth of the matter was that Jirou was entranced by her strength and annoyed at her existance above him. Had she been below him he may have paid her family a healthy sum to marry her into the Yuiee family. But as she approched him, his body reacted out of instinct and he would attempt to move away from the attack to come, but she was far above him and even with the automatic reaction ones body experiances with fear, he wasn’t fast enough to avoid the blow and with a sharp pain he found himself on his hands and knees the gift basket he had prepared quickly falling to the ground, though Jirous ever loyal Servant grabbed the basket and dirtied himself before allowing the young masters gift to hit the ground. [break][break] Jirou was stunned by the sudden speed and strength of the blow, the entirety of his back leg would be numb to the point that he couldn’t even attempt to move it without threatening to send his leg into a charlie horse like episode. He would look up and find for the first time in his life someone, and a woman at that, standing abov ehim and looking down at him with such a look that his own inner revoltion at weakling would target himself. But shortly after being given her ultimatum, he would smile and Politely cowtow to her, speaking in near perfect common, the one good skill he had that did not have to dow ith combat was his tongue, he was well skilled at the politics of speaking, though he didn’t act it earlier as a guise to see the royalties true nature. [break][break] “You are as fierce and amazing as they say you are Lady Ravencrest. It is goo to be able to confirm it with my own eyes and experiance. Forgive me if I insulted your family, that was not my intention. [attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] Hinota looked at Arata and smiled a little "I'm not really used to calling people by their names I think other than my family, Junjie, Luli and Valo." she admitted seeming a bit embarrassed about that, she found it easy to do with the two people who were escorting her as they were like her brother and sister and Valo, well, there were other reasons for that. The shadow sensory mage though, still an acquaintance had helped her when she was still trying to get her bearings originally. It was so easy for her to get lost as there was so much information to take in when she had never seen any of it before. She was like an innocent child that was ready to eat her alive at that point, nothing much had changed but she could at least find her way from one side of the capital to the other without being lost. [break][break] "I will do my best to fulfil your request, I request forgiveness in advance if I slip up though. You can understand I'm sure." her voice was sheepish, it was true that there was overlap in their cultures and she was of a higher station but etiquette and respect were something they both had in common regardless of background or standing. Her eyes turned to Norie once more as she thanked her and told her how others found it odd given her profession. Hinota just looked at herself and covered her mouth with a sleeved hand "I look like I belong in a dollhouse and I'm a magic knight. The clothing you wear doesn't decide what profession you should do, there's nothing wrong with feeling and looking good so longs you are happy and it doesn't interfere with your job." her tone showing this was what she truly believed. [break][break] "Most people wouldn't dare attack an estate because it would be a death wish, more so the Ravencrest estate. I must admit, I didn't expect to see two of the Carrion generals within the estate at the same time. I had heard rumours there was always one on the estate, which makes sense in a number of ways. Two seems overkill I must admit." she wasn't meaning this as any sort of insult towards them as it was just showing she realized just how strong they were, even having been told there was something going on and so the estate was on high alert it meant only one of two things there was something wrong with the head or the heir of the family. She would keep such thoughts to herself as she didn't want to insult the ones hosting her, she understood that everything had ears after all. [break][break] Hinota shook her head "He wasn't, technically, neither was I when I sent the letter but I spoke to my parents about it and they thought it would be wise for me to do it." she said her eyes going to her brother as she sighed and shook her head "There is no excuse for such disgraceful behaviour, please apologise to our hostess when she arrives before you do any more damage to your reputation or potentially our families." she said her voice was still soft, it as clear she wasn't about to overstep her brother's authority but he needed to know what he did was wrong. Had it been a less forgiving family then there could and would likely have been issues that she would rather avoid as it would have been a PR nightmare making their family a laughing stock because he couldn't send a letter in advance. [break][break] She had been fully aware of Junjie and Arata showing each other their blades and having a conversation about how they were each lucky. She looked at the sword that Junjie carried at his side, she had only been seven or eight years old when she had commissioned the blade to be made for him. Something had destroyed the blade he wore before it, she had thought about reaching out to the Ravencrest to have a blade created for him. She wanted a blade worthy of his spirit but she had been told how improbable her request would have been to be accepted. It had made her sad but she asked about other blacksmiths and crafting families known for their wears. She had been told about the Clearblade and so sent a request to them, it had taken close to six months but the blade finally arrived. [break][break] She didn't understand what it meant for a person like Junjie or Arata to like their weapon, she wasn't like them and she didn't know the punishments that came with it for Junjie. He had acted as if everything was fine and in her child mind that much have meant it had been, had she known the truth she would have put an end to it quickly. It had been the only weapon she had ever commissioned up to that point because she knew it was important to him. "I understand the sentiment as I too am on duty, perhaps when we have some time off then?" Junjie said to the other his tone respectful, this brought Hinota out of the memory she was thinking on. She knew that the way they showed respect was different to what was the norm of Clover but she knew that the pink-haired woman would be understanding given her own brother's origins. [break][break] "I will try my best to fulfil your request." she said calmly, she knew the elder woman would understand better than most why she said such a thing. She was a little different from her brothers and even her own brother as she only had, had true access to Clover for around a year by this point. She was changing but it was slow and steady when she wasn't being belittled for one thing or another. She was glad that she hadn't caused insult but hearing the next part she couldn't help but internally grumble. She couldn't help but wonder what her brother was thinking coming to meet another noble family without doing his due diligence. "Jirou, the heir of the Ravencrest comes from the same place as our own so it is unlikely that our hostess wouldn't know what is being said." she informed him hoping he wasn't going to make a further fool of himself. [break][break] Hinota was thankful that those who were forced to carry her brother here wouldn't be punished by carrying something so heavy all the way home. Her own palanquin at home was made of light materials and was basically a small box for her to sit in, she hadn't used it in close to eleven years because she saw just how much burden it put on those carrying her. She had the palanquin designed for when she was wed enchanted and gave orders that magic should be used as she didn't want people to be treated like beasts of burden. She listened to Lydia and nodded "I believe the same way, it is why I have had my wedding palanquin designed differently and requested magic be used rather than people. It is also why I stopped using it when I was six." she said honestly. [break][break] "I will admit because I don't want my body to rely on magical healing if I get injured if it isn't too bad I let it heal naturally, this means if I do leave my room I would use my palanquin, however, I am not carried a wind mage uses their magic but I tend to stay inside resting it." She knew it still may have been frowned upon but at least she wasn't treating people like less than dirt and it was only under rare circumstances that she would use it. "It's how I would be transported on my wedding day." She knew that Lydia was well educated and so would understand it was just a traditional thing for the day and hoped she'd at least give the doll-like mage props for looking for a way to make it more humane. [break][break] She wanted to say more on the matter, her hands were gripping her sleeves as well as the basket as she looked to the ground, she had never been a cruel, callous or malicious person. She had been raised that it was acceptable due to the culture she was raised in and for them it was, but, she had made an active choice at that age that it wasn't and so stopped only using it when truly required and with certain caveats in place. She had hurt her ankles many times but chose to limp over even calling it with her own stipulations in place because she still felt guilty for doing it. The whole palanquin thing had made her uncomfortable for years and though she hadn't used them in so long she still felt like she was being called out on past behaviour when she knew no better. [break][break] Hinota caught the subtle movement of Arata as did Luli and Junjie who instinctively moved in front of her as if to protect their lady from an unknown threat. Watching what would happen next she covered her mouth with her hands her eyes going wide as she let out a gasp at what she just witnessed. She listened quietly knowing it was a lesson her brother needed to learn unless she wanted to bring shame to everyone. Passing her basket to Luli she moved past the two who had escorted her and knelt by her brother checking him over, she knew that nothing had been broken he would have screamed to the heavens if that was the case. Still, she was worried and would check him over. "Jirou, please stop being foolish. You're smarter than this." she whispered to him hoping he would indeed take her words to heart. [break][break] She covered her hands in a healing miasma that smelled of lotus and put them on her brother's leg, it wasn't a full-blown spell as it wasn't needed, she was just helping the muscles regain feeling, it would of course remove the bruise that he likely gained but the throbbing would still be there as a reminder to be careful. Bringing her hand away Junjie walked forward she smiled standing dusting her hanfu off "I'm fine Junjie, there's no need to worry." she said taking the basket from Luli who offered her, her basket once again. She listened to her brother and sighed a little "If you didn't believe this family strong then you wouldn't be here Jirou, if you wished to see her strength you could have just asked for a spar. I am sure she would have agreed when she had time." she said with a soft tone. [break][break] "Jirou, she called you out on your insults there is no 'if' in this, you have and it is shameful for us as a family and you as a person." she said her tone showing she was disappointed and appalled at what had happened thus far. She looked to Lydia as she was once again spoken to and nodded with a smile "I would enjoy some tea, the journey was a long one and the after travel commotion has me a little... uneasy." she confessed nervously, it would be hard to believe that the flower mage had helped with Raque and Kikka as she seemed so submissive in nature. "I actually brought your favourite tea and made a floral green tea blend personally for you." she said, she was proud of the latter as it had been the first time she had attempted to do such a thing and made sure the honey used complimented the taste. She just didn't know if it would be her taste but the thought was there.

Kikka is a town known to be the defensive foot-hold for the Clover Kingdom, it is the town that sits in the grey area of what could be considered the noble region and the common region. It is due to this that there is a diverse range of people and backgrounds that called this place home. [break][break] A young fire mage found himself getting into trouble when he decided to steal some vegetables from a garden of jewellers. The mother of the family was the one that caught him and even told the boy and his mother that they just needed to ask due to them having more than enough. It was the beginning of a new bond between the family and the fire mage. [break][break] Over time the boy grew and where he was wanting to learn the next flashy fire move from the former purple orca. She would tell him that he needed to learn how to walk before he tried to run or those he cared about would get burned by those same flames that treasured so much. Of course, being young he didn't understand what she was getting at. [break][break] The woman's husband attempted to teach the street smart and somewhat rough male his craft. He, of course, got bored real quickly because crafting jewellery was a slow process that often was very detail orientated. Still, the man tried. On the day the fire mage was scheduled to leave Kikka for the exams the man called the young mage into his workshop. [break][break] He was just finishing up a double ring set and told him to put every wish and promise he could into a single flame and release it onto the ring. Somewhat sceptical the fire mage did what he was asked and thought it was for some sort of trinket for the woman that had helped him grow. The man placed the ring into a box and handed it to the budding mage. [break][break] "Valo, we see you as our son and we are proud to see the man you've grown into. You've helped create something that is unique and special, keep it with you and give it to someone that you believe deserves what you put into it." [break][break] The now young man gave bravado with his normal attitude but took the ring. He held onto it for three years until something terrible happened. The family that he had loved so much was taken from him. The one that had seen him at his most vulnerable and had helped him through the grief was a young woman. A woman who themselves couldn't fight due to their beliefs. [break][break] He remembered the ring from all those years ago and offered it to her, telling her if she was ever in danger just to call him and he'd come running.

[attr="class","florencetext"] As Hinota spoke to Arata the shadow mage would just nod to show he understood but wouldn't speak any words. It wasn't because he was ignoring the noble or anything like that it was simply because of the fact he didn't talk much as he found it draining which Hino would of course have known by now. As the golden dawn mage spoke to Norie the steel mage would smile at her. Oh I agree and I don't care what people think about what I wear. After all, it doesn't get in the way of my job. The raven-haired women would nod along as Hino spoke as what she was saying was spot on. [break][break] Yeah it's no secret that at least one general is always at the estate and to is overkill. However, there have been some developments that made it so not only two of us are here but we're also on high alert. In all honestly, your brother is lucky we didn't kill him the moment he stepped foot on the estate. Norie knew the last part was pretty blunt but unlike Arata, she didn't beat around the bush. It wasn't long after Lydia showed up the steel mage would have to take her to leave at the request of Lydia but she'd make sure to wave goodbye to Hinota. Lydia on the other hand would listen as the miasma mage spoke and it seemed she thought Lydia was looking down on her for the past. She of course knew of the traditions around them. [break][break] I apologize if you thought I was belittling you about it. I understand they are traditional for you. I was simply giving my own view on them and explaining why I don't allow them in my kingdom. Lydia wasn't surprised that Jirou dropped to the ground from her kick and she wouldn't stop the golden dawn mage from helping her brother. After all, it was just to teach him his place not actually hurt him. She would then nod in agreement to Hino's first statement. Exactly if you want to see just how strong I am we can have a spar. I'll gladly kick your ass. [break][break] As Jirou spoke saying he apologized if he offered Lydia's family her mana would flare up as she was pissed. After all, he was clearly insulting her family and was acting as if he didn't. After a few moments, the former vice-captain would get her anger under control before speaking to Jirou not only in a cold tone but also in his native dungeon to show she was serious. I don't forgive those who insult my family. However, I'll allow you to stay but if you talk out of line again you won't be coming back to my estate ever again. As Hino accepted her offer for tea the light mage would give her a soft smile. I look forward to trying out the tea you made. [break][break] Lydia would then lead the ground inside of the estate taking them to one of the more fancy rooms that had a massive table that could fit at least fifteen people. Lydia would then pull out a few chairs for everyone to sit in before taking her own seat at the head of the table. One of the estate staff would then walk over to Hino asking for the tea so they could start making it. Assuming the golden dawn mage gave them the tea they would walk off to make it. So while we wait for the tea is there anything you wanted to talk about?

Jirou would stay silent in response, before simply affirming in common clover that he would behave and bowing to apologize to their hostess as his sister had told him to do.. He would then remain silent unless directly spoken to by either his sister or the bitch named Lydia. But Enlai still held the basket of gifts he ahd prepared for them and stood silently beside Jirou with it as they were taken inside. Upon reaching the inner entrance, a servant took the basket away and Enlai stood quiet and well behaved next to Jirou. Jirou was at least proud that of all his servants, Enlai had been the one to catch the basket. The manor was beautiful, and was as such enviable to Jirou. Each space was well maintained and showed just how wealthy the family was. Each step they took reinforced just how amazingly wealthy the family was. [break][break] The room they entered was enourmous, and sparked Jirous envy and desire to have it as his own. But he knew he didn’t have the chance to gain such wealth yet. This family was higher Nobility, Royalty. Though he didn’t understand why she had been chosen as the leader of the family. Was it not common for families in the Clover kingdom to be male headed? It baffled him that the members of the household could trust the safety of the family to her. His own father refused to leave the work of such things to the woman of the family unless it was their rightful duty, such as marriage and the like. Though he did admit his sister Hino had a smoother hand then he did when it came to such things. [break][break] The chair that was pulled out for him was furthest from the head as possible, an insult meant to be noticed by the higher ups of the nobility. To be placed below his baby sister was a slight hed remember. But he made no motion of anger or issue. He had learned his lesson with ease, Lydia was not one to be messed with. He wondered jsut how skilled she was. She hadnt even used a spell to gain such a aura around herself. He had to improve himself so he wasn’t below some woman. The very thought twisted his stomuch and made his anger grow. But he quickly squashed it. He would remain silent unless directly spoken too. Enlai stood next to him silently his hands folding inside his sleeves.

[attr="class","tamaflowersscroll"] The doll-like mage smiled as she saw the shadow mage nod, she knew how draining it was for him to do so, so only really did it if required. She was glad to see however that Junjie and Arata had bonded somewhat, but then, warriors talking about their weapons or even their duty bonded easily she guessed. She chuckled at the steel mages words "Well, that's a good way to put it, besides, if anyone's clothing was going to get in the way of them doing their duties I'm sure it be mine." she giggled looking to her flowing hanfu which only added to her innocent, doll-like appearance. "We should go shopping sometime, I'm sure you'd be able to show me some quite fashionable boutique's here in Carrion." she said with a bright smile, it was clear like Norie her clothing was custom made but it didn't make her any less likely to go look at the latest fashion in stores. [break][break] She listened to the raven-haired lolita as she spoke about it being common knowledge that one of them was always on the estate and agreeing that two was overkill. She tilted her head briefly as if showing she was taking in the information being given to her, it turned out she was right, that something was off on the estate currently to what she didn't know and knew it wasn't her place to push for answers so would leave it as it was. "I am grateful you didn't kill him for his mistake, I would have hated to inform my parents that they had lost a son who hadn't thought to send word he would be wishing an audience in advance." she said her voice showing shame in her brother's actions. She had to wonder what was going through his mind to have done such a thing. [break][break] Seeing Norie having to take her leave at Lydia's request and wave to her she would bow politely and wave in return "Send word when you want to go shopping Norie!" she would call out her voice almost like a happy chirp towards the raven-haired lolita. Her eyes then moved to Lydia herself as she explained herself, she shook her head and smiled weakly "You are correct that they can be inhumane as you are treating people as beasts of burden." she said softly looking down "It is why when I get married or get injured I've taken every precaution that tradition will be followed without making anyone feel such a way." she said her voice a whisper, she understood at a young age how it could be perceived by those outside of their traditions and she wanted nothing to do with anything that could be seen as slavery. [break][break] She couldn't say the same with her elder brother, the servants from his palace always seemed skittish when she went near them, weirder still was very few of them ever left his palace which was unhealthy in her opinion. Whenever she had enquired she had always been told to leave it alone, it was between Jirou and those in his service but it still didn't sit right with her. "Oh I'd never dream of insulting you in such a way, I make sure to research the do's and don'ts before this day so I wouldn't offend you or those of this province." she explained, she also understood that many people within Carrion saw it as it's own individual kingdom and it wasn't her place to question it but she felt more comfortable calling it a province and hoped their hostess wouldn't find insult in it. [break][break] If asked she would tell Lydia that she understood the citizen's of Carrion saw themselves as a kingdom and had even given her a title akin to that of a queen, that her calling it a province was not meant to belittle anyone's beliefs but it was what she was personally comfortable calling Carrion. She would also state if required that if asked she would try and call Carrion a kingdom but she would most likely mess up more often than not. She had taken care of her brother and called him out on his behavior but was glad to see that she had indeed been correct, had he just asked their hostess would have indulged him in a spar but he had gone around it in such a way he got himself hurt and was slowly undoing everything she was trying to do. "If you keep this up Jirou I'm going to request that you leave." she quietly said. [break][break] She wasn't whispering as she knew it was rude but it was low enough that only those in the immediate area would have heard it. "I am trying to build a friendship and possible alliance between our family and the Ravencrest and every time you act shamefully that thread slowly unwinds. I will not be blamed or punished for your misdeeds." her voice was still warm but showed that she was upset at how he was acting. "You know you have more sway being male and the next to become heir if anything happened to Ozma but here you are acting more juvenile than I was at age three. Please I beg of you Jirou act like a man mother and father would be proud of." her voice was pleading with him as this was difficult enough without any added issues. [break][break] She knew she would likely be in trouble on the way home and when she eventually got home due to her own behaviour for stepping out of line but that was an issue for later. She felt the former archmages mana flare and though she flinched subtly and so put her own servants on guard she shook her head, she knew that the anger wasn't being directed at her so had nothing to fear. "Like I pointed out Jirou, the heir to the Ravencrest comes from our homeland and so it stands to reason that she would know our native tongue." she said looking to Lydia and smiled nodding as she led the way towards what she could describe as a meeting room of sorts. Seeing a chair being pulled out for her Junjie pushed it in as she sat before doing the same for his own sister and then sat after binding his weapon. [break][break] Looking at the maid she would bring out the tea blend and the honey she brought handing it to her "Please allow the tea to sit in the water for ten minutes and for the best flavour pour the water just before boiling." she explained wanting her hostess to enjoy the tea to its fullest. As the maid took the tea and honey her attention was turned once again towards Lydia "I am actually quite sorry I have seemed to have disturbed you during your training regime." she knew she had made an appointment and perhaps Lydia had forgotten due to whatever problems there had been causing two generals to remain on the family estate currently. "My eldest brother and father send well wishes to your brother, they said they haven't seen him around the Crimson Lions headquarters and hope all is well." she knew they may have been worrying for nothing due to the way their work was but she passed on the message nonetheless. "I have brought many more gifts for you if you are happy to receive them of course." she said with a smile as Luli handed her back the basket once more.

[attr="class","florencetext"] Noire would shrug at Hino's comment. "Maybe but I doubt you haven't trained to be able to do your job while wearing your outfit of choice." As the flower mentioned going shopping the steel mage would let out a small smile. "I'm not that well versed in fashion shopping but I do know someone who could tell us about someplace. I can't tell you her name otherwise she'll get mad at me." [break][break] The person in question was of course Victoria not that anyone who wasn't close to the sword mage would know the fact as it well a well-kept secret if one didn't want to get on the women's bad side. As the Raven-haired mage was walking away she would hear Hino's statement. "Sure just make sure to tell me in advance so I can get the name of the stores." [break][break] As the golden dawn mage went on to explain herself a little more to Lydia the light mage would just give her a small smile. Relax you don't have to explain yourself to me. While I may not agree with it I understand it's a tradition where you come from. Besides my pride isn't so much that I expect people to do things just to please me. The comment of Carrion being a province wasn't lost on Lydia but it didn't bother her. After all, even if the citizen of Carrion viewed it as a kingdom it was a province and so it being referred to as much didn't bother Lydia or the citizens. [break][break] The former vice-captain would listen to the conversation between the two Yuiee but wouldn't interject as it wasn't her place to do so. As the younger royal knight explained to the maid how to make the tea the best the maid would just smile and nod at her. Lydia would then look at the basket of gifts Hino had brought for her. Just by a glance, Lydia was able to tell a lot of thought was put into everything. Thank you for the amazing gifts. Lydia would of had a glass of wine but well she was already having tea made and the second wine was meant to be enjoyed and she wasn't sure if that would be possible with someone like Jirou around. [break][break] I have a question for both of you I'll start with you first. Lydia would then focus her gaze on Jirou. Why are you here? If it was just to congratulate my family on becoming royalty you could have just had Hinota pass along the message like your father and Ozma did. Lydia would then wait for Jirou to answer before turning her focus to Hino. As for your question how are things going between you and Valo as well as your royal knight training?
