Mere hours after getting rid of the Sea Witch and the slave camps, you receive word that a ship moving along the horizon appear to be in a great deal of trouble. First noticed by someone with binoculars, it appears the ship is releasing large amounts of smoke, meaning it could very well be on fire, under attack or both. Get to the ship as fast as you can, do your best to save the sailors as well as the ship, and get rid of this final attempt by the slavers to receive a new batch of slaves. Be careful though, as you'll be in open waters now, which is their domain...

[attr="class","noahtext"]After clearing the bigger camp filled with slaves, the two mages helped escort the enslaved people to safety. Those people indeed looked desperate, and Noah felt a weird sense of disgust when looking at them. Not because they themselves disgusted him, but the idea that someone was capable of doing this to human being was simply unacceptable for him. He realized that this is a double edged-sword, as there were a lot of controversial choices made on the side of Magic Knights as well, but he still firmly believed that no one should be treated like this. Trying to get over his intense feelings, and focus on the task at hand, they finally managed to get the people to Hapshass infirmary, where the nurses would take them away and treat them respectively. Having a spare time now, Noah breathed in and out very graciously, as it was finally time to relax a little. The witch of previous battle really messed up with him, and he realized that his life might be even more fragile than he initially thought so. He turned to Griswold and smiled. “Thank you for guiding me, I feel like I have learned so much from you already. The way you have complete control of your own magic… It´s amazing indeed.” Griswold was a very skilled mage and Noah felt like he owed him something. As the mission seemed to be over, he decided to invite him to a local bar where they could maybe reflect on their missions, hoping that Griswold would elaborate on mistakes Noah made so he could work towards them. [break] If Griswold accepted this offer, they moved to a small pub nearby, where Noah would just get pure water as the taste of alcohol was making him nauseous. Young mage was careful to not sound too eager, but after waiting some time, which he considered to be a good cool down, he then proceeded to ask Griswold some questions. “I can see that you are using often rather simple spells, but they are always very effective. How long have you been training as a mage, if I may ask?” Asking this was meant to give Noah some relatable timeline, to which he could compare his own advancement. Sure, they might have had very different life situations, but it was still a good leading point for a young mage. “I rather struggle with my magic to be completely honest. I have learned couple of spells that target a large area of effect, however those spells are quite destructive and I feel like control of my magic isn’t as good as it should have been by this time.” Noah said this mainly because he saw how Griswold made multiple instances of a single spell in a brief moment, this was something Noah was naturally aiming for and it was still far away. Therefore, all the tips would just prove to be beneficial. [break] “I am also supposed to be having a training session with the captain of Golden Dawn, but after my performance in the last mission I am a little scared I might end up like I did after that witch attacked me. The thing is at that very moment I completely forgot about civilians, and risked their life if the witch was just a little more powerful. I need to be more careful and attentive.” This wasn’t a self-pity party, Noah was saying this in an objective manner, he was analyzing his performance and thinking about everything he could have done better. Of course it was annoying him, but he knew that there wasn’t a way to change to past, only to learn from the mistakes and do better. As the day would be continuing, any conversation the two mages had has been interrupted by a ring of a city bell, as if some emergency was happening. Noah quickly stood up, before even asking. [break] “Should we go and check it out?”
[attr="class","noahfoot"]TLDR After beating the camp with the witch Noah and Gris help escort the civilians to the city, then proceed to have a break which was interrupted by a bell ringing because of an emergency.
For as funny as it was to hear, Griswold was not someone who possessed perfect control over his magic, though it had gotten a whole lot better than it had been a few months ago, that much could not be denied. That said, he could imagine how someone might think that his control over his own magic was impeccable, at least when someone was looking up from the bottom. The same had been the case for him when he witnessed some of the strongest magic active within the region using their spells to dispatch threats with some flashy spell when he could barely control the bare minimum of mana for a spell of his own. Luckily for him, the times had changed rather quickly, leading him to wield similar spells on his own creation. Venturing into the small pub, part of him wondered what the boy was going to be doing here, seeing as he wasn’t allowed anything to drink anyway.
Something with age restrictions and whatnot, which was to be expected here. The further one went down south, the more people ran into laws, rules and regulations, and for obvious reasons. The closer one got to the seat of power of a nation, the more nitpicky people became about rules. Where one might give a fifteen or sixteen year old a pint of ale on their birthday in the forsaken realm, the same was unlikely going to be happening within the royal capital. But when the kid ordered water, Griswold himself ordered a glass of ice cold milk. While it wasn’t as manly as a pint of ale or lager, a good glass of quality milk always reminded him of life on the farm, before he became a mage and started earning his pay through means of fighting.
“Trust me, my control over mana has gotten a lot better than it once was, though it is far from perfect. Take it from me that striving for perfection is fine and all, but it isn’t something you should ever wish to truly possess. After all, perfection is the end of the line, a ceiling you hit when there is no more room for growth. To me, that just sounds utterly boring.”
Wanting to become stronger had always been something he worked hard at, though the stronger he became, the more he understood that power truly came with a lot of responsibilities. It was so easy to get lost in it and stray from the righteous path, devolving into doing things for greater wealth just because you could was always just a few bad days away. While that wasn’t really the case for Griswold, as he didn’t really do the things he did for wealth and slept just as happily in an inn or tavern as in a luxurious bed in a private estate, he could imagine why some would not be content anymore with the money they earned as a magic knight when they could earn so much more with relative ease. That, and those that had gone through the motions of being a knight in the country knew how to get away with their illegal activities in case they were to actually go rogue.
“You’re right, I prefer to wear my enemies down or beat them using as little mana as possible, as the lesser spells are easier to control. So even if it is easier to just drop a really powerful spell and destroy the surrounding area and whatever else might be living in it, I vastly prefer my method.”
Taking a good chug of his milk, he thought about what he had just said, as it was quite true that he did not go around blowing everything away with powerful spells just because he happened to have them in his arsenal. A popular complaint was that magic knights tended to go around thrashing the entire surrounding area just to get rid of the thing that initially caused problems, only to leave a ravaged landscape behind and call it a day. Due to the nature of his spells, Griswold was also quite susceptible to causing great devastation to the landscape if he were to cut loose, which was why he had begun focusing so heavily on controlling and containing his own mana, which was just so much easier to do when not breaking out the high-end destruction spells. For what it was worth, it was fairly impressive that the kid had noticed the exact level of his spells, as the ones he had used had more than incinerated their targets with relative ease as things were.
Though he did a fair job at hiding it, especially since his mana reservoirs were nowhere near those of some of the other mages within his level of power, Griswold was raised as an elf among others who had descended from the ancient elves. As such, he was taught the importance of nature and to renounce wanton destruction, which was just further elaborated upon during his three years as a farmhand. He had come to see how a magic knight squad could end up causing more damage trying to fix a problem than the problem itself left behind, and that was not the kind of knight he wished to become once the magic knight exams had come and passed.
“As for training, I think it’s been about twelve months now since I started using magic. It might sound odd, but I didn’t get my grimoire at fifteen, I didn’t even know I was supposed to go get one initially. Once I got it however, it’s been getting better at a steady pace, so I guess I just had a knack for it.”
Finishing up his glass, he did not know what else to say about the matter. With magic, everyone went at their own pace. Some developed really fast, whereas some developed at a slower pace, though people eventually ended up at the same point someday. That was, unless people entirely gave up on it and chose to chase another profession such as becoming a fisherman, a farmer or a sailor. At this point, he could have gone about sprinkling some words of encouragement, though he figured that that would just come across as condescending at this point. Some people were just more gifted than others, while in some cases it was all about how driven a person was at getting better, and getting stronger. Throughout their conversation, the sound of a bell was suddenly heard from outside, causing the pub to fall silent as people started to venture outside to get a better look at what was going on.
Merely nodding at the kid when he asked if they should head out to take a look at things, he made his way outside to see that a ship that had only recently left the docks had come under attack, though he could not accurately tell by what or by whom. Looking around for a way to get there, he noticed a ferry that had likely had its last run of the day and turned in for the night. With a ship like that, getting people out of harms way and safely back to the mainland wouldn’t be all that hard. Besides, they needed some transportation to get to it before it was to late, making it the best option at their disposal. Heading over to it, Griswold did his best to get the owner to help them out, claiming he would likely get compensation from the office of the wizard king for aiding them. Promising that he would see to it that he received his prize, the owner reluctantly allowed them access to his ship as he prepared the ferry for departure.
[attr="class","noahtext"]Before they would leave the bar, Noah was enjoying the conversation, even though he felt actually like he was really slacking behind. Given the fact that Griswold had acquired grimoire not so long ago, and already managed to be such a strong magic user was very surprising. It made young mage question if he was doing everything he could in order to advance, and yet the answer wasn’t easy but it was negative. Maybe Griswold was just more talented than Noah, which was obviously an option, and before managing to even ask him follow up questions on that, they would leave the pub in order to pursue the disturbing bell, that was now pounding even harder. Once they arrived at the dock, there was a good chunk of smoke coming out of a ship that wasn’t so far away from the shore. Noah panicked for a little while, as fighting on water wasn’t exactly something he ever wanted to try, but thanks to the encounter with pirates he had the other days, being on an open sea wasn’t as problematic as it used to be before. Due to the fact that they just recently cut off two camps for trading slaves off the chain, it was possible that this was just another attack by the serpents, but it looked way complicated.[break] When Griswold talked to the man, who was apparently an owner of the ferry, Noah was just happy that he didn’t have to do it himself. Stepping onto the machine, young mage didn’t feel like this was the best possible plan, but the situation on the burning ship just seemed too urgent. He was also surprised that there were not any knights around to actually check the problem out, but maybe they were just busy in another part of the city, given how big it was. Being on a water again, Noah wasn’t exactly familiar about fights that didn’t happen on a solid ground. He knew that sea battles were very particular in their nature, but maybe it wasn’t even necessary to think about it this far. For all he knew, something on the ship could have just caught fire and everyone was confused and scared. He was at least hoping for this version, but something was telling him it wouldn’t be that easy. Maybe it was those serpents once again, trying to get any last bit of revenge they could. [break] This would also change the situation quite rapidly. Up until now they have fought on what could be described as beaches, with very low water level that it wasn’t practically affecting them. However, Noah could swim just to survive, he couldn’t imagine fighting those beasts in the water. It was also their domain, which would only naturally make them stronger. Maybe it was time to talk tactics, as the man manipulating the ship started the engine once again and they approached closer to the flames. Noah couldn’t see nor feel anything, and this wasn’t really a surprise, but he was hoping that Griswold could get a better hold on the situation once they get relatively closer. All Noah could see were very small dots, what could be serpents, humans or birds or literally anything. Being in full of anticipation, Noah was just stepping from one foot onto another, being visibly nervous. After some moments, he just asked Griswold. [break] “Did you manage to get a better hold on the situation over there? I can´t really see anything…” Noah felt once again a little useless, which was a feeling he was quite familiar with. It wasn’t exactly a negative feeling though, as it was more about getting and experience and some overall check up on his abilities, seeing how good or bad they were. Sadly, most of the time he was just shown how much skills he has lacked. He also had to change his mindset rapidly, he had to learn to accept that he was weak at the moment, and he had to just work towards being stronger, so that one day he could actually be someone like Griswold, or captain Blake, in his own version. [break] After waiting for an update from Griswold, he started thinking loudly. “Do your spells work underwater?” It might have been crucial, that if they even got into a situation that they had to fight underwater, they would be in a serious disadvantage. Noah himself never actually thought of trying his magic underwater, but he knew that gravity acted differently. This wasn’t an ideal time to find out how exactly, as there were urgent matters at the hand. “There are also some spells that I haven´t used yet that could be helpful right now. I could pull them all out of the ship, but the issue is I would most likely target humans as well, if you can think of any way to prevent that?” Attacking from distance seemed like their best shot right now, because the serpents could just get more aggressive if they saw them approaching, and lord knows what they would do to poor people, trapped on the ship. Noah felt little anxious as it looked like this wasn’t a regular ambush, but more or less a retaliation for those camps they destroyed earlier. [break] The feeling that if any person there dies, and it would be partly because of Noah was crushing, and young mage wanted to do anything to avoid this feeling. At the same time, seeing that serpents could just attack any ship they wanted and were basically undetectable while underwater, it was obvious that something needed to be done about that. He didn’t like to address it, but it seemed like they needed to get to the root of the problem, which wasn’t a transport camp, but their headquarters, or any serpent equivalent to that. Initial feeling of accomplishment after clearing those two camps was now long gone, as there was a lot of work to do still, and it only seemed to get harder and harder. Noah would just wait for orders from Griswold, as he didn’t feel like potentially endangering everyone like he did the last time.
As the ferry made its way across the water as fast as he could, Griswold had his hand against his scruffy haired chin where the first formations of a slight beard had started to form over the past few days. Doing his best to get an accurate read on the other ship, he could sense that there were various people there, though there was something bigger more or less overlapping that small area that made it hard to really pick out any specific signatures. For as much as his sensory abilities had developed themselves, he unfortunately did not possess any actual spells that could help him truly fine tune his abilities to allow for the pinpointing he would have really liked to be capable of right now. Really wishing the ferry would be moving faster than it did, he anxiously tapped his fingers against his chin as if waiting for something to distract him as they moved closer and closer towards their target.
“Some of them do, some of them don’t, though those that do are generally weakened quite a bit and therefore a lot less effective. I imagine many of my lesser spells will just fizzle and die before they get a chance to actually do a damn thing under water, so in my case, I’d be better off fighting above water.”
Unfortunately, this was something he had been able to test out once before in a fairly similar situation. In comparison though, he vastly preferred this one however, what with the other being so far out at sea that he could not even see the shore anymore, which was something he did not care for much at all. While he was not the kind of person to be dominated by his fears, if he were to call out something he really did not care for, it was being out in the middle of the ocean without having any way of figuring out direction and not knowing where to go. But that was because he was the kind of person that was raised within the forested regions of the fringe, before spending several years out in the meadows and fields of the forsaken region. If anything, Griswold was the kind of person that remained close to land, so a job as a sailor or a fisherman out at sea was just not in the cards for him, and that was something he was quite content with.
As they got ever closer to the ship, Griswold seemingly ignored the boy as he spoke to him, not giving any kind of physical responses to the questions, though that was not the case. While he remained in the same position as he just pondered on what to do next, he did register everything that was said to him, or asked of him, thus taking it all into the equation. But with him not knowing exactly what they were facing or how many of them, not even knowing how many people they were expected to save, it was extremely difficult to pull off a proper plan due to this predicament. So as he took it all in, he formulated a portion of a plan, which was just about the only thing they could really do at this point. After all, they had no idea what they faced until they got close enough to see it, and it was about time he disclosed that information to the boy, along with the situation they were in and the way he had devised to hopefully get out of it in one piece.
“There’s either some kind of spell interfering with my ability to sense what’s going on, or something big that’s causing my innate sensory to just flatline altogether. So the best thing we can do for the people there right now, is for you to use your spells to displace people from that ship and onto ours while I head on over and deal with as many of the threats as possible, protecting the people in the process until you get there with the ferry.”
Not really leaving a whole lot of room for any possible debate, Griswold took a few steps back before taking in a deep breath. Building up solar mana inside of him before spreading it out around him, almost as if creating a skintight layer surrounding the full totality of his body. As he exhaled the air, he bent through his knees a bit before jumping up into the air, and simply not coming back down. In fact, he took to the sky and began racing towards the troubled vessel at a pace beyond that at which he could actually run. Leaving the ferry and making his way over to the other ship as fast as he could, it did not take long before he saw exactly what they were dealing with here, and it did not actually surprise him as much as it possibly should have. More slavers.
Likely being out for revenge of some kind after two of their bases were destroyed and the people they had taken got released, their forces had been further weakened by the deaths of even more of their kind. So in some way or shape, it seemed like they would be able to recover some of their losses by bringing in whoever was on board of this ship down to their land beneath the waves. Due to the sheer numbers that were crawling along the fishing vessel, it was clear that they had rounded up whatever troops they had left and put them all to work on this particular assignment, leaving little room for failure. And the truth of the situation was that, if they had gone about this any later, when the ship would have been out of visual and auditory range, they would have absolutely gotten away with it too. However, a lack of patience would prove to be their undoing.
As he rapidly approached the ship like an asteroid preparing to slam into the earth, he quickly scanned the ship, finding the leader located on the tip of the forward deck. As he landed, he did so right on top of one of the stronger looking slavers with his sword coming down first, smearing the beast out across the deck and killing it instantly. Still in motion as he skated forward a bit on what the remains of the serpent, he sliced his blade through two more before coming to a stop. Managing to free the two people they had started dragging out of the ship, the solar mage allowed the two of them to go back below deck until the area was safe for them. For the time being, it seemed best for them to stay down there until the ferry arrived along with the boy as it was an easily defendable position. And once the boy arrived, he would be able to use his magic to evacuate them a lot faster.
So for now, he just had to hold his ground and make sure none of the serpents would slither past him. And that was something he knew he could do, daring any of the slavers to come at him and get a taste of his blade.

Can heal Senior damage, regrow digits in two posts, and regrow limbs and minor/smaller non-vital organs in four posts. For every turn that it is active, it will also aim to remove any debuffs if present following the "cleaning" rules. [attr="class","noahtext"]When Griswold spoke, Noah got calmer for a moment. The anxiety from not doing anything while the other ship was on fire was eating him away, and he was just full of anticipation. When the solar mage used his spell, which very effectively turned him into a flying heavenly body, Noah just smiled for a second. Even in a pressing situation like this, he could still appreciate a visually pleasing spell. With his initial jump, Noah took that as a sign to start acting too. Griswold went ahead directly onto the ship, and Noah just gestured the man who was riding the ferry to speed up a little and get as close as possible. With Griswold taking all the attention of the serpents, Noah felt like it would be a good time to assist him from the back. His first task was to find a way to evacuate all the passengers of the ship. This was time for Noah to get creative, and that was rather hard under the pressure he was feeling. Good thing was that he didn’t have to worry about Griswold doing good, as he already managed to catch a glimpse of his skills and honestly, he felt a little sorry for the serpents. [break] Noah couldn’t hear a thing, but as they were approaching closer to the ship where Griswold was battling the serpents young mage gained a better visual of the situation. Apparently some members from the crew were heading below the deck, while other were still up on top. Noah needed to find a way how to efficiently evacuate them all, because his magic wasn’t at that level where he could just lift a dozen of people just yet. Taking a look around his own ferry, he was looking if there was something he could use to connect the two ships together, possibly a rope or something like that. However, nothing seemed to be long enough, even though it was like 15 meters distance before the two decks. The good thing was that the ship Noah was on was smaller, and therefore placed lower. Only thing long enough to reach the other ship was the anchor and the chain it was connected to. This wouldn’t be gravity mage´s first choice, but there wasn’t much time left anyway. Swiftly pointing his finger to the anchor, he spoke. “Kinetic Link.” A small orb came out of his hand and went directly to the anchor, where it got attached. [break] Noah couldn’t really miss this one shot, as he wasn’t able to manipulate the object more than once subsequently, but he already had a plan. Swinging his hand at a high motion, the anchor quickly sprinted towards the other ship, where it got attached just besides the railings of the ground floor. This enabled people to somehow slide down the chains towards the ship Noah was currently at. Hoping the civilians would understand the point of it, he was just waiting for them to slide down. Normally, he wouldn’t really expect anyone to do that, but seeing that their ship was under the attack, they didn’t really have much of a choice. Finally, some of the braver members of the crew started sliding down, and that just encouraged more people to follow them. Their hands weren’t exactly happy with this, but it was still better than being slain by a serpent, or taken as a slave. Seeing as the evacuation part was currently done, Noah felt like he wanted to be more useful than the previous time, and therefore decided to focus on situation around Griswold, to see if he could be of any assistance. [break] Griswold did an excellent thing, as he basically gathered the serpents on the one side of the ship, allowing the civilians to evacuate rather peacefully, and at the same time trapping the serpents all together, which gave Noah an idea. Because of the fact that there were no more civilians he could hurt, Noah could use his another offensive spell that he has been longing to use for a while now. Having a clear view on the flagpole, under which most of the serpents currently were, Noah pointed his hand at it and spoke. “Encompassing Presence.” Now, the serpents probably had no idea what was going on, but Griswold could see an orb forming on the top of the pole, that was approximately 30 centimeters big in diameter. This orb started sucking in everything within the range, which were now most of the serpents and some boxes and barrels that were just a part of the ship. There was very unpleasant shrieking, as many of the serpents just got sucked in the ball, colliding with each other and other objects. After a little while, Noah deactivated spell as it seemed most of the serpents were taken care of. [break] Most of the serpents indeed just fell down on the deck, dead or unconscious, Noah couldn’t tell from the distance, but who seemed to be completely unaffected was a feminine serpent, which was very similar to the one they encountered before. However, Noah was pretty sure that one was dead already. This could mean that there were more of them, and that the serpents weren’t as primitive as Noah initially thought, they possibly had a set of hierarchy, which would also explain the need of slavery. Whatever it was, Noah was just glad that this time he kept his distance, and there were no civilians around that she could harm, actually, the only one that was in front of her was Griswold, and Noah felt a little sorry for her as he already could tell how this was going to end. He tried to look at different parts of the ship, seeing if there were any more serpents he would miss, that he could possibly take down and save Griswold some time, but sadly, from this distance he couldn’t really see anything else besides Griswold and the witch. Elemental Type: Gravity Rank & Spell Type: Intermediate | Attack Creation Range & Speed: 40 meters | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 20 | 10 Stats Effected: N/A Applicable Perks: Knock-back Description:This spell allows Noah to weaponize any object present on the battleground. Activating the spell by pointing on one concrete object in his sight, Noah is able to use his gravity to apply his magic in form of small gravity point, which is attached to said object and moves the object as Noah wishes by gestures of his right hand. The gravity point is visible if enemies sensory is over 30 and looks like a small ball 3 centimeters in diameter attached to the object, and Noah can manipulate objects this way up to 600 lbs of weight (272 kilograms) with the size up to 6 m and based on the ammo rules, for every 20 control he has he is able to manipulate one more object at the same time. The size of the object doesn’t matter in terms of damage, as it’s the force it is manipulated with, dealing intermediate rank damage upon hit in form of moderate bones cracks or minor breaks as well as knocking the enemy back 4 meters and additional 5 meters for every 10 power Noah has. Noah is unable to use this spell on objects that are already used by playable characters. Currently, Noah is currently not able to control the said object once it has been thrown, as long as he doesnt have sensory specialization.
Elemental Type: Gravity Rank & Spell Type: Intermediate | Attack Creation | Restraining Range & Speed: 40 meters | 10 m/s | AoE 20 meters Mana Cost: 24 | 12 Stats Effected: -5 m/s Speed, Control -5 Applicable Perks: World Binding Description: This spell is activated by Noah pointing his hand onto a place in his sight and saying the name of the spell. After ]that a small orb of his mana is released onto that place and this orb will attempt to draw in everything within the range of 20 meters that is lighter than 600 lbs and no bigger in size than 6 meters. Due to the sheer force of gravity, anything affected with this spell will take intermediate rank of damage in form of moderate bone cracks or minor breaks, as well as become restrained, having their movement speed and control stat lowered. This spell is invisible, as long as the enemy doesn’t have 30 sensory. This spell can be broken via the according Restraining rules, having lowered durability because of it being an AoE. Based on the ammo rules, Noah can create multiple instances of the orbs as long as he has needed control to do so, however only one of the orbs remains AoE.
With the aid of the boy who had come in with the ferry, the people aboard the fishing vessel could safely be moved out of the safe space below deck as Griswold drew the attention of the slavers to himself. And that was by itself not all that difficult, as any of them that as much as turned a single eye away from him would find themselves losing a limb or a head. What made the spell Griswold currently used so dangerous was the amount of speed it provided to him, and that was really all there was to it. It did not provide him with any destructive power, nor did it do anything to give him increased physical strength, which meant that it only really helped if he needed to close the distance or increase it to use a larger spell that required a bit of time to charge. Griswold wasn’t exactly a physical powerhouse after all.
But what he lacked in physical strength, he more than made up for through the use of his sword, which when paired with the spell that increased his speed and granted him the ability to fly. Changing his footing for a bit, he shot himself forward, cleaving clean through one of the slavers, bifurcating him from head to tail. So as he leaped and bounded back and forth, lacerating his enemies and keeping their eyes on him so as to improve their chances at not dying, the boy managed to get everyone safely off of the ship before providing support to Griswold. Capable of seeing the otherwise invisible mana of gravity magic, which was of itself already a useful little trick, the gravitational pull made them into much easier targets for him. In the next few seconds that followed, his sword made short work of all of the slavers by relieving them all of their heads. Truly a much more quick and painless death than any of them deserved.
By the time the witch was all that was left, Griswold placed his sword back over his shoulder, watching as the serpentine female just stood there, trembling not out of fear but out of sheer anger. Had she noticed an opening, she would have most likely used it to kill Griswold where he stood, though the boost of speed that surged through his body made it so she could barely even see him, let alone pinpointing any weakness to exploit. Much to her shock, once he had seen to the deaths of all of the slavers in the best way possible, he released the spell too. Whether this was something he had done because he was just done wasting mana or because he wanted to actively mock her was something she would never get to figure out as he would never tell her, though she wouldn’t get to ask the question either.
As far as the solar mage was concerned, whatever reasons she had for attacking this ship did not matter much, if at all. All that really mattered was what her people had done to the citizens of Hapshass on her orders, and that was something that deserved to be punished. So as she began screeching, sending waves of sound from her mouth in his direction, he held out his dominant hand in her direction. Giving her only a moment to punish him with her magic to the point of figuring out that she wasn’t harming nearly as much as she hoped due to the sheer density of the mana skin that protected him from these kinds of lesser attacks for quite some time before giving out, he shot a blast of solar mana straight at her. Catching her right in the chest, the sphere exploded in a small scale inferno, causing her body to get slammed overboard and back into the depths from which she came.
It was almost poetic. Almost.

Name of Spell: Variable Star: Parallax Elemental Type: Solar Rank & Spell Type: Senior | Attack Creation & Sensory Range & Speed: 100 meters (40 m AoE) | 50 m/s Mana Cost: 30 mp | 15 mp sustain Stats Effected: +9 Power, Blind Applicable Perks: Overpowered, Quick Shot, Skilled Sniper & Battle Knight (& Area of Triumph) Description: A spell that releases a fast moving ball of solar mana at a target determined upon the moment of creation. Utilizing "homing" rules in order to chase down the target until the projectile is destroyed or the caster runs out of mana, it also uses "ammo" rules to increase the amount of projectiles fired by 1 for every 75 Control the caster has. Initialized by first making himself glow before firing them, in addition, these projectiles flare up from time to time, allowing them to blind those looking at it for one whole post. These "stars" can flare up to blind someone once every two posts in which they're active, making them rather tricky to deal with. Upon hitting a target, they explode to cover a certain radius, knocking targets back 8 meters + 5 meters for every 10 Power the caster possesses. During the day, the spell takes on an orange hue, taking on a silver blue hue after dark.
