You have been hired to attack a caravan of two carriages heading from Kiten to Aries Garse, full of supplies. There is a small group of Magic Knights guarding this caravan. You must defeat them and steal at least one of the carriages. If you manage to steal both carriages, you will gain one extra infamy. The two carriages are rather large, pulled by two horses each. You must attack the caravan once it leaves the Common Region and enters the Forsaken Region, thus ensuring they can't call for backup in time. But be careful, the knights will put up a fight.

[attr="class","echotemp] It had only been a matter of days since Echo and company had come together to create the organization known as The Swords of Deceiving Light. Since they began operations things had been running better than expected. Echo was now being kept rather busy by the amount of work that the organization was drawing it. In order to raise capital they had all began taking jobs from various clients across the kingdom. They did mostly jobs on the darker end of the spectrum, but less known organization members would take to do even some ‘good’ jobs. [break][break] Echo would awaken on this beautiful day, rising to barely any type of sunlight. Normally when he awoke he would be greeted to the beautiful view of the ocean from his bedroom window in the castle. However today he had woke up inside of the hidden city, the home base for his new group. *Ah, almost forgot I didn’t fly home last night. It doesn’t really matter I guess…* The red headed Jaegar would roll over on his bed mat to find a note laying next to him. The Jaegar’s eyebrows would raise as he wondered what could be written on the note beside him. [break][break] He would pick it up and begin to read over the written text, before he would jump up off of the mat and begin to scurry about the room looking for his clothes to get dressed. The red head would make his way to the bathroom once he found his clothes, so that he could freshen up before heading out for this important day. It turned out that the note was a job request from a old Jaegar family associate named Jimmy Weinberg. It appeared that Jimmy had a problem and he needed some help solving it. [break][break] The problem that Jimmy was currently facing was that he was running out of goods for his small family owned and operated business. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem as he would just go and order more, however with all of the craziness going on in the kingdom the price to ship and transport the goods had become more than what the goods themselves are worth. This dilemma would mean that Jimmy could not afford the cost of doing business, however he would be able to pay Echo and the Swords enough to go out and steal the supplies for him. [break][break] So the job was simple, steal the shipment of goods heading from Kikka to Airse Garse. The client was even kind enough of providing the route in which the caravan would take to get to their destination. Jimmy had wrote that there would be two carriages worth of goods but he only needed them to steal one, however if they could steal both their effort would be greatly appreciated. And so Echo would look over the carriage route so that he could begin to plan how the attack would go. For this job he thought it best to move fast and efficient so he would need a team. [break][break] The head of the Jaegar house would make his way to the second floor of the organization’s castle base, heading towards the planning room. The planning room was simply a room with a very large table that had a map of the clover kingdom and its outskirts on its surface. Along this table were several chairs at this was clearly made as a meeting room for the organization to discuss their villainous plans. When Echo walked into the room he would be greeted with emptiness as it appeared that everyone else was gone off on jobs already. *If everyone else is already gone who will I take with me to do this?* The Jaegar thought to himself. It was then at that point he would begin to feel the mana of Zeus heading towards him, and within moments the elder Jaegar would walk into the room. Zeus would take notice of Echo before taking a knee and saying “Hello my lord! How are you today?” Echo would smile a bit before saying “Im fine Zeus, how are you my cousin? Also please do rise.” Zeus would immediately make his way back to his feet after Echo stopped talking before he himself would say “Thats good to know my lord. Do you have any plans for today? Possibly anything I can help you with?” [break][break] Echo would grin heavily after Zeus had offered his help with whatever task he may have needed done today. Echo would approach Zeus and wrap his arm around him before saying “Its funny that you asked… because I did just get a new contract from a pretty high profile client. And ot one pf those lame jobs we been getting either where we gotta do a bunch of sneaking around and shit. We supposed to steal a goods shipment, I was just about to plan my ambush point. So you in?” Zeus would look over the map which had the caravan route upon it, and after short examination Zeus would point to a specific point on the map. [break][break] “Here! This is where you should set up an ambush my lord. You see this location here is just outside the common region, and not too far from the entrance to our base above ground. If we attack the caravan there it will take very long for any back up to arrive… you know those magic knights get real lazy when it comes to the forsaken region.” Echo would laugh a bit before saying “Yeah that is true… takes them like 20 years to respond to any crime beyond the common realm.” Zeus would then look at Echo with a smile before he would say “Im going to get my sword and we can go.” The elder Jaegar would then exit the room, headed to get his things so the two Jaegars could set out on this job. [break][break] Once Zeus had come back with his sword and other traveling gear, he would confirm with Echo that he was ready to go. Once Echo confirmed he was ready the two would set out for the spot on the caravan route that Zeus had suggested. According to the information that Echo had gotten the caravan was scheduled to come through the area in about 4 hours, which would make the time late at night. This would mean the Jaegar duo would have some time to perfectly set up their ambush and wait for their victims. Arriving at the area Zeus would say to Echo “This is the spot right here… Now you see the road cuts through part of the forest right here. By the time the carriages come it will be dark and we can sneak attack them from both sides of the road, using the trees as cover.” [break][break] Echo would simply nod before he would say “Sounds good, I take right and you take left. Imma go climb in a tree and get a nap in before it gets dark. After that I will use that height to keep an eye on the road to see when the caravan comes.” With that the plan was sat now all they had to do was wait.

”So you need me to ambush a magic knight run caravan…not for one, but for TWO carriages? That’s child's play Jack…what the hell I thought we were at least friends? Remember I am no child and I am no greenhorn either…there is a reason why Clover fears me you know…don’t make me have to show those in the underworld the same courtesy…” Jorah, the “Gentleman” rogue said as he shook his head and sighed before leaning back. Across the table in this rather nice looking tavern was an acquaintance of his; Jack MeHoff…a rather infamous fence himself, standing at 5 foot 4 inches he was skinny to the point one might call him sickly as he was smiling as he gave the job to Jorah…however he was now looking at Jorah with disdain and snapped his fingers in his left hand at the threat and the tavern went silent and looked at their booth and looked their way, hands on weapons, grimoires being unlatched and Jorah scoffed as Jack spoke again. ”You may be a “mastermind” Jorah…but you are far from being in the big leagues…there are too many eyes on you and your…rather confusing behavior is often seen more hostile than helpful…so my network is reluctant to give big jobs to those that cannot operate at least within the boundaries that they state. So think of it more as a…test. Then take the Yul once you deliver the goods. Both wagons are not needed…but you will get a little bit “extra” if you manage to bring them both back…so I suggest you put that “mastermind” brain of yours to figure out how to do this and well…get to it. Here is the normal deposit and of course the intel that my employers have given.” Jack said before he whistled and the tavern went back to business as usual, Jack stood up and then left the booth, his frame reminded Jorah of a stick being tossed in the wind.
As he left, Jorah pocketed the yul before taking a look through the papers that Jack had given him. ”Fucking…Green Mantis mages?! Seems like this little job will be more than just…a little trouble…” He said as he took his leave and made sure he was not followed before setting out to the meeting point. He smiled as he found the mages off chattering about as the wagons were loaded. The drivers for the wagons looked to be simple workers and Jorah took it upon himself to distract one of them, the one that would be driving the second wagon and he would quickly knock him up and tie him up before stowing him away in a barn. Jorah took the traveler's cloak and donned it before climbing up onto the wagon as the other driver climbed aboard his own wagon and the mages began to take their places. All in all it took about thirty minutes before they were on their way out. He did not know anything about Echo being set up to ambush…so this would likely turn interesting.

[attr="class","echotemp] Echo would awake from his nap after some time, and the sky was now dark. Looking own into the trees below he could see Zeus still waiting patiently, as he was meditating below. Zeus was very used to jobs like this as he was a contract killer before ever meeting the Jaegars, so he was used to the idea of waiting for your pray. Looking out towards the road Echo would begin to see the caravan coming down the road, they were about 3 minutes out from their location. It was time to prepare to execute their ambush and so Echo would climb down from his tree, so he could make sure Zeus was ready. [break][break] Upon climbing down Echo would take a small rock off the ground and throw it at Zeus’s head with pinpoint accuracy. The Jaegar would seemed unbothered by this though as he would simply open his eyes to see Echo on the other side of the road within the trees. He would see the red head’s lips moving, as he was trying to lip speak to Zeus. The man could barely make out the words but he knew that the caravan must have been moving in on them. He would bolt up to his feet and draw his sword, showing Echo that he was ready to pull off this hijacking. Echo would in kind respond by drawing his own black katana and his white wakizashi. [break][break] The caravan would then get right within the area they had designated for their attack point, which would mean it was time to strike. Just as the first carriage made it to the attack zone, Echo would cast an arrow spell and aim it at the ground, as a sort of warning shot. This would force the carriage to stop and now the knights accompanying it were on alert. Echo and Zeus would then step from out of the trees and onto the road, as they would then begin to stare down the magic knights with the carriage. Echo would smile before saying “Well well well look what we have here cousin. Seven magic knights and two carriages.” Echo would then take two steps towards the magic knights and all the men would flinch as they would reach for their weapons and grimoires. However they would all stop when they seen Echo stop and begin to speak. [break][break] “Im sure you all know who I am right? Im Echo Jaegar, head of the once illustrious and generous House Jaegar.” The leader of the magic knights guarding the caravan would step forward before saying “Yeah we know who you are, or at least I do. We were in the magic knight exams together last year. They kicked you out because you tried to give some guy eye surgery. Then your family went rogue and fell off the face of the earth. I thought the wanted posters were all lies, I thought you all would have left the kingdom to be honest.” Echo would laugh at the knight’s words before he would reply by saying “Now why would I do that when I still have unfinished business with this place and you magic knights? But lucky for you pal im not worried about you guys today, im just here to steal those carriages. You guys can just run along and live to see another day ok?” [break][break] Zeus would chuckle a bit before he would walk forward and in front of Echo saying to the knight leader “Pardon my younger cousin, he doesn’t mean to disrespect you or your power. He simply wishes to not cause any unneeded bloodshed tonight.” The knight leader would scoff before saying “You believe you can just kill us like its nothing? Do you think we are that weak and pathetic?” Echo would laugh again before saying to the man “You guys are more pathetic than a bunch of roaches, and just because you stayed and talked too long im going to squash you all like the bugs you are!”

Jorah kept to himself as the magic knights were all along the caravan and did not look too much like the speaking type…not that he was afraid of them, but this was just nonsense to be honest. He watched them as it tended to be the leader going between the two wagons and then there were three men to each side of the wagons towards the middle…it was rather smooth going, and Jorah was actually yawning as he found himself bored with all of this. If he did not fucking find a stream or something where he could ditch these fools soon…he was likely to die of boredom.
That was when he heard a familiar voice and he let out a long sigh as the caravan came to a stop and the mages took defensive positions. ”Really, the goddamn peacock again…I am gonna murder Jack…” He said under his breath as the knight leading the caravan spoke loudly at Echo…the one fucking rogue he could not believe was out this way to do this kind of job…Then the back and forth got a little long winded as Jorah took a position to jump off of the wagon as the mages looked at him and scoffed, calling him a fool and a coward. However, Jorah was none of these…he just did not appreciate the eyes that could be on him at any given moment. However, now that all six had begun to move to encircle the unseen speaker as the magic knight leader was seemingly ready to fight. Jorah made his move as his grimoire floated up behind him and he called out the spell. ” Pressure Chamber.” He said as he held his hands up and copied the way that he remembered the spell being cast. He then sent the four target markers out and much to the surprise of the magic knights…they thought Jorah was there to help them. However, such was not the case as he was able to target 4 of the junior knights in his field and then clenched his fists together and the gravity in that area instantly locked itself down and the four knights called out in pain as they were crushed beneath the weight. The horse drawn wagon in front looked spooked and the driver was about to leave when Jorah thought quickly.” Frozen Core” He called out as he flicked his right hand out in an arc as the frozen/flaming ice flew out in an arc and caught the driver in the side of the head and in a moment after it hit, the driver screamed as he slumped over, his head was smoking and the air grew noticeably colder.
”Alright you fucking wastes of space. Stand down and surrender quietly…and you can keep your lives…if you do not do as I fucking say right now…I will kill you just like I killed the bastards that are now slumped over looking like fertilizer…” He spoke with a commanding voice that boomed in the small forested area they were in. This job was supposed to be easy, but now…everything had gone tits up and Jorah was not looking forward to splitting the loot.

[attr="class","echotemp] Just as Echo and Zeus had begun their hijacking attempt Echo would be slightly taken by surprise when he would see Jorah seemingly come from nowhere. In reality Jorah was driving the second carriage in the caravan the whole time. When Jorah had appeared he had come with quite the statement to make as he would quickly kill not only 4 of the magic knights guarding the carriages but he also killed the other driver as well. Echo loved the way Jorah had made his entrance and he was now totally sure of what Jorah’s magic was after seeing him use multiple elements. [break][break] After killing 4 of the 7 guarding knights, Jorah would demand that the remaining knights listened to his orders if they wanted to live. Echo would then laugh before saying “Old man what the hell you doing here? You just took all my fun….” He would then suddenly dash towards the leader of the magic knights before taking his wakizashi and running him through the throat. The night air was filled with the sound of the man gasping for air as Echo would say “That living offer only came from him… Jaegars don’t let magic knights live bud once you piss us off!” [break][break] Zeus would turn towards the other two magic knights before they would try to arm themselves but it was just a bit too late, as the ebony haired Jaegar would cut them both down with his blade. Echo and Zeus would then make their way to Jorah’s side with Echo saying “So all this time you had a 4 leaf grimoire huh? I mean that much was kinda obvious judging from the amount of mana that radiates from you. But you have even an element that’s rare among rare elements! I never thought I would meet a mage who uses imitation magic… unless my assumption was wrong and you just have two elements but its doubtful.” Zeus would then flick the blood clean from his blade before laughing a bit and saying “My lord you are often wrong when you assume things… Also greetings Sir Jorah.”
