If anyone had told Sumire that she was going to somehow get fooled into an ambush and a kidnapping by a murdering cosmic wielding, former magic knight, now head of the torn vermillion family. She would have called them absolutely crazy. but now she was wondering if this was always there to speak of or if this was a recent development. The history claims it was recent given the horrible break up between the Ravencrest Heiress and the vermillion Heir. While the girl seemed to climb and move forward, he was plummeting further and further into insanity. She trained her mentality to focus on the matter at hand. she was confused of what to expect. Normally being kidnapped, your bond, gagged, in some small area. Not some bare room with the door unlocked and guards stationed to just inform you weren't allowed out. Maybe kidnapping is too harsh of a word. Maybe being a forced guest was more like it. She wasn't harmed other then when she felt backwards with the sweep kick to miss a fireball to the face, the fall wasn't the worse but it still hurt some.
"Do not insult true princesses by claiming falsehoods." She spoke turning her head towards him hearing his next words as it was odd. She must have been away for at least a few hours but the way he made it sound it has surely been longer like a day to a few days. She was one to turn down food if it wasn't prepared by herself or those her family trusted. Especially a meal that was one of her favorites. She was confused about much to discuss...Discuss of what? She had no business with him other then the one fitting she had done for him. Her family had no business with any vermillion that were not of the magic knights, even then they only associate because Sumire argued with her father speaking on the former nobility behalf as she was sure they all were not like taiyo. Sure she received a good slap and scolding for speaking out but father family did allow only her to take them as clients. It did seem has had no choice in the matter of declining his offer of a meal prepared for her. She was taken by surprise of him grabbing her arm, pulling her arm after him.
She wasn't one for full contact of anyone for one reason or another. Normally only her family was allowed to hug her as her siblings always seemed to pry and cling to her one way or another. She let out a slight gasp of surprise, having to catch herself and keep up with his quick strides to a somewhat empty dining room. She wasn't in the best of moods and more confused of everything going on.
She watched him pull out the chair for her as she watched it closely before getting her arm free from his grip, deciding to take a seat regardless. She kept her hands wrapped around herself lifting up her feet feeling him push in her chair. She keep her guard up as she looked around seeing him take a seat before two plates of food was sat infront of herself and him as she looked at the plate then back towards him "Why am I here Mr. Vermillion?" she asked calmly deciding to get some sort of information of her situation.

[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Taiyo had made sure to be very hospitable for his forced guest. There was a plan in all of this and while at this current moment it would seem like a waste of time, this was one of the steps that Taiyo wanted to take. He first needed to make sure he got her on his side. Whether it be by breaking her or not. Since she was practically in the heart of the Clover Kingdom and her family owned The White Lotus, she would be able to gather plenty of information among other things. Sure, he had a contact inside the Magic Knights that could get him plenty of information should he ask, she was naturally surrounded by said information. It would be much easier to use her that way. Also, he could make her his should he want to. She was beautiful and would make a suitable mate but before that could happen, he needed to get the other important things done first. [break][break] Now that she was awake and before him, it was time for them to talk. He started by calling her princess which she didn’t seem to like. She knew she wasn’t one and was merely a noble like himself but princess wasn’t something that was only given to royal figures. Even nobility can have princes and princesses but maybe she would have preferred to be referred to as noblewoman instead. ”I am not insulting anyone.” He said before the conversation shifted to the meal which she declined, however he wasn’t giving her much of a choice. [break][break] Once she was there, he told her to sit while pulling a seat out for her. Once she was seated, he slid the seat to the table and sat adjacent to her. She asked him why she was there, calling him Mr. Vermillion. ”Well, let’s start with how you will address me. You call me Taiyo and I’ll call you Sumire. After all, we are familiar with each other.” He said calmly, grabbing his fork and taking a bite. He chewed and swallowed his food before speaking again. ”Now, as to why you’re here. You can help me out with something and I would like that help. Information passes through The White Lotus and some of that I would like to know. Any information regarding my family or the Ravencrest would be a start. Additionally, I would like some new clothes sometime and you’re the person I want making them.” He said with a smirk. ”Now, you could refuse but it would be in your best interest and your family’s best interest that you don’t. Don’t give me a reason to use force.”

Sumire watched him as she looked at her food lifting up a hand to gently push the plate away " I am sorry I am still not going to eat a meal that is not made properly. "She spoke gently. She was calm and relaxed even if she was on guard and nervous. She didn't want to be here, No one would want to be anywhere after getting kidnapped. She listened to him speak as she shaked her head " I will call you Mr. Vermillion out of respect nothing more, calling you by your first name is of disrespect and while those in clover wishes to do such, it is not something I will do in any sort of way towards anyone here." She spoke gently in a lecturing tone. He was disrespecting her culture, though she wouldn't put it past him not knowing even if his mother was of her culture.
Sumire listened to the terms of what he wanted of the situation. "Again Mr. Vermillion, You ask things that are not in my power. I do not air out the dirty laundry of your society as I am sure there are more capable people who can give you much more then passing words that flow around my family's shop." She Said "Any conversations done in private, I can not speak of for it is not my place to speak those words to anyone else." She stated narrowing her eyes before closing them with a annoyed sigh shaking her hand waving her hand dismissively "No, I will not soil my hands with making you any clothing of my own, nor will you be able to harm my family without the magic knights knocking down your door. The fact you wear my clothing can be insult upon my family name and put eyes on both us and yourself. You are someone I know my parents and family on either side would never wish to be associated with as you must understand optics, given your previous relationship" she spoke in concern hoping this trade of words would be enough to persuade him otherwise to allow her to leave freely and hopefully leave herself and her family unharmed for the foreseeable future. She didn't know what he was thinking or wishing of her but she didn't want anything to do with it. Nor was she going to be responsible for a circus's ring master wishing for her to jump through some flame lit hops.

[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Sumire had been served a meal that was very intentionally made. She had told him about her grandmother making such a meal and thus he chose that meal for her. Even so, she rejected it, twice. She pushed the plate away. ”Very well then.” He then told her to address him as Taiyo and that he would address her as Sumire. She refused to do this as she saw it as a sign of disrespect and she wasn’t going to do such a thing. ”Calling me mister is very disrespectful. I am still a lord you know. Since you want to be so formal, it is Lord Vermillion.” He gave her a cold dark glare, the kind that gave others who saw it chills. [break][break] He explained to her what he wanted her to do and she claimed to not be in the power to do so. She told him that there were others more capable of such a task than her especially since it was going against her tradition. ”I am aware of how you shouldn’t speak of things that happen in private. After all, my mother is from the east as well. It is admirable that you hold fast to those traditions even though your family has moved to Clover.” [break][break] She also rejected his request to make him clothes, saying that he wouldn’t be able to harm her family without the magic knights getting involved. He continued to eat his food calmly, letting her speak. She told him that wearing the clothes made by the White Lotus was an insult on her family’s name as they wouldn’t want to be associated with him because of optics. He looked down and saw that he had finished eating. He grabbed the cup that was brought out and drank the drink inside. He placed the cup on the table and got out of the seat. He looked down at Sumire and backhanded her. ”Firstly, I am stronger than many of the magic knights. Secondly, if I wanted to have your family taken out, I could. Remember that.” He moved to behind her seat and pulled her seat out. Once that was done, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up. ”Looks like your manners need to be relearnt and I will teach you.” He dragged her to his quarters, asking the servants around to leave the area to do other tasks which they obeyed. He pulled Sumire into the room and closed the door. He let go of her arm and backhanded her again. ”If you don’t want to be hurt worse, I suggest you apologize and call me Master.”

"Calling you lord is not something I can do as you are no longer Nobility in the graces of clover. You have fallen from that grace." She spoke in earnest. She brought her free hand back to its place around her as she watched him suddenly give her a cold glare as she was indeed confused of her place in this situation. She was definitely a kidnapped victim that was apparently here for a strange talk. Why? She wasn't head of her house, nor would that ever be a title she could claim. She had brothers, they would be first choosen to lead the family over herself. No her place was to be a wife and bring prosperity to the family.
She listened to him speak of how she would speak of things in private due to her culture and tradition. She closed her eyes shaking her head "Honestly, if I may, Your mother should be very ashamed of how her son turned out. No man worth his salt in honor would do as you did to your own father." She said gently "If anything, she has truly lost touch with the traditions and culture of our homeland. I stay true to my traditions because Clover is not my true hand. My heart belongs beyond the shores with my homeland. I wish for those of clover to simply get to know the beauty my home and culture are much as the Yuiee or some of the Ravencrest and yingersel has adapt and kept true to." She spoke.
She was taken by surprise of the next series of motions from Taiyo feeling a hard sting develop against the skin of her check as her mind barely registered what had just happened. by instinct her hands came up to to feel the burning sensation of her cheeck while registering the threat against her family and his notion of being stronger then most of the magic knights. She was taken surprise by her chair immediately getting pulled back with ease as she might not be that heavy but it was still something she wasn't expecting. She winced allowing her mind back to reality getting pulled up and away from her chair.
"Let go, you are hurting my arm." She requested hearing his word sink into her train of thought. She was truly not entirely expecting this. This man infront was not the one she seen at the shop or made clothing for.
She managed to keep up as she was dragged along to another room before feeling him finally let go of her arm only for herself to feel another slap against her face as she fell against the ground.
"Why are you doing this to me. This is not what friends do to each other..."She managed to get out, feeling her hand on her cheeck as she did not turn to look up at him or get up from where she sat.

[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Taiyo had requested that Sumire called him Lord Vermillion instead of Mr. Vermillion since she wanted to be so formal. Even so, she refused to call him that, stating that he wouldn’t be that due to him falling from grace as a noble. ”That’s where you misunderstand. I may have fallen in the eyes of some people in the higher network of the Clover Kingdom however that doesn’t make me any less of a noble and thus I would still be a lord. I also am in charge of land and this family thus that makes me a lord as well.” He explained as his glare remained. He wanted to see if it would make her any less rude but that wasn’t the case. [break][break] He spoke of her holding fast to tradition, calling it admirable. He knew of her traditions since his mother was from the East. There were certain things that they had to follow which Taiyo knew very well. She spoke, insulting him for what he did to his father. She spoke highly of herself and her traditions and what her plans were for spreading it. ”You speak of things you don’t know. You heard some rumor and you run with it just like the rest of Clover. This proves you’re very much a hypocrite. ‘Do not mind the voices and rumors of those within this kingdom’ Those were your words, were they not. Surely you know a lot of rumors aren’t true yet you believed these ones without so much as even a thought. You along with everyone else in the political places within the kingdom. So quick to decide what happened and many forget all the good I did and all the people I helped.” He was trying to appeal to her in a way that she could see that everything wasn’t black and white even if that was how it seemed. ”I’ve heard of these rumors too; the one where I beheaded my father and oppressed my family with a magic that’s very different from my own. Even so, people forget that transformation magic and illusions exist and so they went with what they did.” He said softly. [break][break] Sumire had insulted the man yet again and denied his request which he repaid her with a back slap. He also got her up from her seat and began dragging her to another room, his quarters. As he was dragging her, she complained about him hurting her arm which he told her that she needed to be retaught manners. After getting privacy with her, he let go of her and back slapped her again but this time with a command. He asked her to apologize and to call him master. He knew she was probably going to be too prideful to even consider calling him master which added to the fun of the new game which was going to be seeing how much she could take before submitting. [break][break] She tried appealing to his better nature, asking him why he was doing this to her as this wasn’t something friends did to each other. He got closer to her and knelt down to her level, turning her chin so she was looking at him. ”Friends, you say? Friends don’t disrespect friends by being rude or rejecting their kindness. Friends don’t insult each other. I’ve been hospitable to you and all you did was try to show how unfriendly you are. Since you didn’t want to be a friend then I decided to stop treating you as such and treat you like you should be for your insolence. Quite frankly, I’ve heard somewhere that the price for disrespect is discipline and so as your friend I will discipline you. Do I want to see you hurt? No, but if you do anything that warrants such a thing then you will be hurt. Here’s your current dilemma, if you misbehave then I will make sure you’re punished for such a thing but if you’re good then I will reward you. You get to go home and be with your family, safe and sound.” He said with a smile. He stood up and helped Sumire up, placing her to sit on his bed. ”Now then, will you reconsider making me clothes?” He relaxed his expression, waiting to see if she would change her mind or if more discipline was in order. Either way, he saw the benefit of trying to get her to submit with the hope of a promise that he would very much keep. The thing was, he didn’t mention what the conditions of her going back with her family would be as yet but that time would come and when it did then she would be made aware of what would be expected of her.

She remained silent listening to his delusional logic. He might see himself noble by own land and servants but even commoners have servants and lands, but they themselves are not nobility. "Then the rumors and acknowledgements are indeed true." She spoke gently watching the floor keeping a hand over her cheek listening to him before fully responding.
"I'm not the one running..."She spoke as she kept her face turned away trying to ignore the sting in her cheek from the two slaps. "You have no nothing to prove them wrong. You say I am a hypocrite for believing their rumors, but last I knew, the noble I tended to was not going to behead his father. threaten his family, and detune a servant. How can you say I am being a hypocrite. You have yet to prove to anyone they are wrong. You certainly are proving to me that you are as deranged and unhinged as they say. I am surprised you managed to stay around the Ravencrest and not get decked across the kingdom for what you managed to do to their heiress." She spoke to him. "it doesn't matter how you think it should be worded, I see it as I see it vermillion." She said
She kept her face turned away from him before she felt him make her look at him as she listened to his explanation of their friendship "This isn't a friendship, this isn't an acquaintanceship. this is a literal kidnapping, I am a literal hostage. I was not going to accept your food because it was prepared wrong and would have gotten me sick, plus I do not know what you possibly put in that food because of how you had me brought here."She said pulling her head back from his hold on her chin. She watched him closely as she listened to him speak of how he heard disrespect should be treated " Friends don't discipline friends, Master discipline Slaves...If I do this, I will be sent home and never have to deal with you or anyone from your family."She asked in worried Confirmation. She felt him assist her up off the floor and down on the edge of his bed as she kept her hands around herself. She was still iffy about him. She wasn't wanting to be any part of this. She wanted to get home and forget this nightmare was ever happening.
If making clothing was something he wanted for her to be rid of him then so be it. She wasn't going to do her best under this stress nor did she believe this was all he wanted. no this was a cover to his true intentions. She knew this wasn't going to be simple to get out of this situation without something keeping her secrecy.
[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Taiyo explained how he would still be referred to as a lord but Sumire simply drew the conclusion that it confirmed the rumors and accusations. ”Those two things are not mutually exclusive. Believe what you want.” He said in a calm manner. She had earned herself a slap and he called her a hypocrite for not being the type of person she should have been with the words she used in the path. She told him that she wasn’t the one running. Well, he wasn’t exactly running but he also wasn’t going to put himself out in the open where danger lied. [break][break] She went a step further and spoke of the fact that he had nothing to prove otherwise. She spoke of the fact that he called her a hypocrite for believing rumors and spoke of not knowing that the noble that she tended to was going to behead his father and cut out the tongue of a servant. She questioned how he could call her such. He hadn’t proven to anyone that they were wrong but he was probing to her his unhinged deranged nature. He was surprised by the next words that left her mouth. She was surprised that he managed to stay around the Ravencrest as long as he did and not get decked across the kingdom for what he managed to do to the heiress. ”Now you’re simply being ridiculous. I did nothing to the heiress so there was no reason for me being decked. Also, you still have nothing to prove I did as the rumors suggest. The thing is, if you believed I did such a thing you should be afraid because apparently a servant was de-tongued for less.” [break][break] Taiyo called Sumire out on the term she used… friend. She spoke of how she felt kidnapped and like a hostage. She technically wasn’t wrong though. She spoke of how she rejected the food because she didn’t know what was put in the food and that it wasn’t prepared well. He smirked and let her talk because she was free to express these views for now. She spoke of how friends didn’t discipline friends but a master disciplined their slaves. She then asked for confirmation on if he was going to return her to her family should she make the clothes he requested. Taiyo took her hand gently and softly stroke the back of her hand. ”I know I’ve been rough recently but I can be gentle if you behave.” He gave her a little smile of reassurance, nothing like his signature grin but something that would appear more sincere. As he continued stroking the back of her hand, he moved his thumb to one of her knuckles and applied a little bit of pressure. ”However, if you don’t then I will not be so gentle.” He looked her dead in the eye so she may see that he was being absolutely serious. ”You know, you need your fingers for your work, that beautiful craft of yours. It would be a shame if I had to break them.” Taiyo applied even more pressure onto her knuckle, making sure to get his point across. ”Are you ready to submit yet or will you keep making things harder for yourself? If you are then you will apologize and call me master.”

"You say you did nothing to her but the grapevine said otherwise from what has transpired from your breakup and the explosive words of what happened when she returned from wherever she had left to with what I assume was all the clothing, jewelry, and accessories and what nots" She spoke shaking her head " It is not that I am afraid, more that I am concern of your well beinging the longer I am here instead of heading home. "She said with a sigh before turning her attention fully to him
Sumire watched him before looking away "It doesn't matter what you think Taiyo...It is how i see and hear cause all you have done is proven their rumors right by today's attentions. You set up a liberate, odd rouse to get me out into the forsaken region, for an odd reason of a clothes fitting, to then have bee ambushed by four trained men. You then stick me in a barren room, with enchanted windows to only mess with my sense of day. Then you not only leave my door unlock but have guards that are to keep me in that room till you summoned me to have a meal with you. Immediately then you attempt some ground rules before slapping me, dragging me to this room, which I assume is your personal quarters. Only to slap me once again. Then you sit me here telling me to call you something I simply can not do." She said gently to him " How am I wrong to know now that what has been said is correct?" She said.
She felt him grab ahold her hand allowing his thumb to rub the back of it as he spoke of how he can be nice. She wasn't one to believe what he spoke. She watched him feel her knuckle before putting pressure on it, hearing his attitude change. She winced feeling the pressure on her knuckle naturally knowing hirting some thing wil make her job harder.
"I am sorry, truly i am. I am. I can't fullfill the reason you wished me to be here. I might know of the ravencrest, however I am not in their good close graces."she said gently "nor am i to know where your family goes at all times. And as for your clothing...the enviroment is not in harmony, it would taint your clothing and make them illfitting"she said gently to him. She shaked her hand holding to talk him out of hurting her hands. she needed her fingers for her trade. He was showing how serious he was.
She bite her lip shutting her eyes debating the next cause "I...I am sorry..."she managed to get herself to say at the moment she was willing to swallow her pride and deal with less pain then pain that was going to remain alot longer even after healing.

[attr="class","luthorscroll"] Sumire was a woman braver than most. She wasn’t afraid even though she believed Taiyo did such extreme things. Did she believe that he wouldn’t really hurt her? Or was it a case of her not wanting anything bad to happen to someone because of her? Either way, it didn’t matter. She spoke her mind and told him of these lies and rumors. ”I don’t think that you truly understand what happened. Then again, no one did and that’s okay. Rumors tend to exaggerate on things that aren’t true to fit a good story. Either way, I admire your tenacity.” Her expression of concern was something he didn’t expect to hear. She spoke of being concerned of his wellbeing but was she truly concerned or was this something she said to soften him up and appeal to his better nature. [break][break] It didn’t matter, her next set of words showed her stance which was something that Taiyo wasn’t going to let slide. He had grabbed her gently by the hand and slowly applied pressure, wanting her to slowly break. She quickly apologized to him, telling him that she couldn’t fulfill his request because she wasn’t in the good graces of either the Ravencrest or the Vermillion that resided in Clover. She then spoke of the clothing as the environment wasn’t in harmony and that would taint the clothing making them illfitting. ”Such rubbish you speak. My clothing has absolutely nothing to do with our current environment and even if it did, you could say that it’s more aligned than you think.” He continued applying pressure before she submitted and apologized. The fight that she displayed had left her and now she was more open to instruction or at least that was how it seemed. [break][break] ”Now then, you will eat the meal that was prepared and if you continue doing what you’re told then maybe you’ll get more rewards. For now, I will make sure your room has much more accommodating features than being barren.” He slowly let go of her hand and his cheerful smile returned. He stood up and moved to the door, giving a few commands to the staff there. And so, Sumire’s room would be filled with furniture and other things to give her at least a bit of peace of mind in her current situation. She was also served food which Taiyo stood over her to make sure she ate it without complaint. This was only the beginning of an overarching plan to secure something more. Now, he needed to make sure the rest of the plan worked. [break][break] Exit

I'll be grading you today and you really don't know the meaning of subtle do you... unfortunately, I can't approve of this being a crime thread. There must be a 6hr gap between each person's post and in several cases, this didn't happen.
