[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝Light as feathers, as fleeting as Zephyr, one moment they breathed gold, the next they faded.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]As Kenja patiently waited for Asahi's arrival, he spent his time researching and delving deeper into the secrets of magic. He sought to understand why his previous training hadn't produced the results he desired and what he could do to improve his skills. During his research, he stumbled upon a lore book that detailed summoning techniques from a past wizard who had mastered the art of creating golems using a four-leaf clover grimoire. The idea intrigued Kenja – perhaps the same principles of training and unlocking new golem spells could be applied to his sword magic. It was worth a try, and he was eager to share his findings with Asahi to see if they could work on unlocking a new spell together. In the meantime, Kenja took the initiative to petition the house head of his family's estate to grant admittance for Asahi. He knew that the estate was inhabited by powerful mana beasts, and the last thing he wanted was for his friend to face any danger while on the grounds, or worse for himself to get in trouble.
As the day of their meeting approached, Kenja made sure to be fully prepared to explain his discoveries to Asahi. He wore his usual non-squad attire, the white shirt with golden filigree, the light blue mantle that matched his eyes, and the white pants tucked into boots with matching filigree. He had his grimoire securely strapped to his waist, ready to demonstrate any magical techniques they might try. Kenja's personality remained as stoic and collected as ever, his analytical mind constantly seeking answers to the mysteries around him. He valued knowledge and the pursuit of understanding, and inwardly it bugged him that they failed.
As Kenja prepared for his meeting with Asahi, he made sure to bring along a sword he barrowed from the estate and would have to return. Despite his proficiency with various weapons, staves being his favored choice, he appreciated the practicality and beauty of a well-crafted sword. Coming from a family with a strong military tradition, Kenja understood the importance of being skilled in various forms of combat. The sword he carried was a testament to the Ravencrest family's commitment to excellence. It was both ornate and practical, embodying the perfect balance between artistry and functionality. The hilt was adorned with intricate designs and fine craftsmanship, showcasing the family's rich heritage and attention to detail. Though he valued his magical abilities, Kenja knew that sometimes a sword could be an effective follow-up to complement his spells. In a world of magic and mystery, having a versatile set of skills was crucial, and his upbringing had instilled in him the importance of being well-rounded in both martial and magical prowess. He had no name for the sword. He simply referred to it as The Black-Gold Cherry Bloom Sword, a truly majestic and elegant weapon, that exudes a sense of grandeur fit for royalty. The blade is crafted with the finest steel, displaying a harmonious blend of gold and black. Its edge was keen and sharp. Golden cherry blossom inlays would wind their way along the central fuller, a delicate touch that adds both beauty and symbolism to the sword. The floral motifs represent life, renewal, and the fleeting nature of existence. The black blade symbolizes strength and resilience, while the golden hue signifies royalty and prosperity. The handle was wrapped in a supple black leather, providing a comfortable and secure grip. Its black color creating a striking contrast with the golden pommel, which is fashioned into an intricate design reminiscent of a blooming cherry blossom. The pommel's gold surface adorned with finely detailed petals and stamen, further enhancing the regal aura of the sword. At the center of the guard lies a captivating red gem, deep and vibrant like a ruby, representing the heart of the cherry blossom. Its brilliance adding an element of luxury to the already extravagant weapon, further emphasizing an air of power and nobility.

[attr="class","augusttext"] Very little time had passed since Asahi had trained with the Golden Dawn mage, Kenja Ravencrest. During this training his grimoire had seemingly began to write out a new spell but he has yet to be able to access it. He knew not what the problem was but he intended to fully find out. In the days that followed the training he had done all the research he could on sword magic, in fact he used a good sum of money to do this research something he wouldn’t normally do. He had also informed Kenja of the issue he was having, and his new friend offered his assistance in the form of his own research and by using the Ravencrest estate. Asahi had never been to a noble estate, as he never got lucky enough to be adopted by nobles, or anyone for that matter. The thought quickly faded from his mind in order to not sadden himself over years long gone. [BREAK][BREAK] After a few days Asahi would have received word that he was allowed to come, so he would go and make the trip to the estate to see what Kenja may have found. Upon his arrival he was greeted by a servant who was already aware of why he was here, and so they took Asahi straight to where Kenja was. Asahi took in the sights and smells of the noble estate as he thought to himself *Geez it must be nice… Wish I was rich.* Before long he would meet Kenja and greet him with a bow saying “Hello there my friend, how goes it?” Asahi wanted to greet Kenja properly before he would jump straight into asking questions and what not, but he was a very blunt and straightforward person. [BREAK][BREAK] “So my research turned up very little sad to say… I did find a interesting book about a technique we might can learn… but its best we save that for another day and time. So what were you able to find? I suspect that your noble resources actually benefited me?” He questioned if the noble’s naturally more impressive resources was able to find the answer to their questions. Asahi was holding a handful of books upon his arrival and as him and Kenya spoke he would look down at the books in his hand. He would see one of the titles of the book which would make him remember the contents, causing a look of interest in his eye. [BREAK][BREAK] He would present the book to Kenja saying “Oh yes I almost forgot… this book did have a bit of other information on sword magic but it didn’t have the answer we are looking for.” Asahi would then wait for Kenja to take the book while also waiting for the noble to tell him what he had found through his searching. Asahi simply hoped that this time when they trained it would produce the required results, as learning how to do this was essential for Asahi to progress and become a stronger mage.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝Light as feathers, as fleeting as Zephyr, one moment they breathed gold, the next they faded.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"]The young noble nodded in greeting as Asahi bowed and greeted him warmly. "Hello, Asahi. It's good to see you again. I hope you've been well," Kenja replied, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Asahi mentioned his own research turned up little, and Kenja acknowledged the difficulties in finding answers on this elusive topic. "I understand the struggle. It's not easy to find comprehensive information on such specific magical techniques," Kenja replied, empathizing with Asahi's efforts. "But lucky for you I'm a Ravencrest and we have the greatest library of resources than any noble family. You should count yourself twice blessed now". He then continued, "Indeed, I did utilize the resources available to me at the Ravencrest estate. While I didn't discover a complete solution, I stumbled upon an interesting book that might be relevant to our pursuits. However, I agree, it might be best to delve into that on another occasion. Today, let's focus on what I found that could aid us with sword magic."
Asahi handed Kenja a book he had brought along, explaining that it contained some additional information on sword magic, though not the answer they sought. Kenja took the book gently from his friend and placed it on the desk, assuring him that they would examine it later. "Now, about sword magic," Kenja began, his analytical mind taking over. "I found a potential approach to unlocking the new spell that your grimoire has written. The steps for learning summoning magic and potentially sword magic are somewhat similar." He leaned closer to Asahi, his voice becoming softer as he explained the process. "First, you need to establish an invisible bond between yourself and the mage you wish to learn. In this case, myself. It's like asking the magic itself if you can learn it. Once you've made your intention known, the other mage needs to agree with your request." Kenja paused for a moment, making sure Asahi was following along. "I'll then guide you in understanding how the magic feels, its reactions, and other important aspects to develop a deeper connection with the element from my perspective." Kenja gestured to the ornate sword that he had brought with him. "Having an actual sword can help us in experiencing the element. I'll demonstrate its essence and allow you to touch or interact with it to feel its presence." Kenja's excitement grew as he shared this knowledge with Asahi. He was seeing firsthand what made a Ravencrest so special. How lucky he was. "After that, you'll need to attempt to conjure the sword magic yourself. Don't worry if you don't get it right away; I'll be there to support you every step of the way." He paused again, gathering his thoughts. "Once you've managed to manifest the element, you can show your understanding by moving the magic around your sword. This will demonstrate your practical grasp of the technique."
Kenja's analytical explanation was thorough, and he hoped it would make sense to Asahi. "Are you ready to give it a try? Let's see if this approach can unlock the spell that your grimoire has prepared for you." He was eager to see his friend's progress and to witness the potential growth in Asahi's magical abilities, even if his stoic façade didn't portray it.

[attr="class","augusttext"] Asahi would let out a internal sigh as he heard Kenya’s response about using the Ravencrest resources to find the information they may have needed. He hated the fact that he had needed the help of nobles to accomplish his goal, but it was something that must be done. He would then listen in as Kenja began to show off his noble education as he tried to tell Asahi of his findings. The Ravencrest mage said that what he had found was from another unique magic known as summoner, but he thought the principles would apply to sword magic as well. Kenja had broken down what they needed to do in steps and they went as follows. [BREAK][BREAK] The first step was for Asahi to ask the mage that he wishes to learn from, and them agreeing to teach him the element in question. This step seemed simple enough but Asahi felt like he was now about to be lectured. He would brush off the thought as he would continue to listen. [BREAK][BREAK] The next step was for the teaching mage to guide Asahi in understanding the element. This understanding had to be deep enough before Asahi could even attempt to use the element himself. He had to understand how it felt, how it reacted to certain things, among other things. As Kenja talked, Asahi would take mental notes, and nod his head every few seconds to show his attention. Kenja also added that having a sword for Asahi to feel the magic through would also be a helpful tool. [BREAK][BREAK] The last step of the training was the practical part, in which Asahi had to try to conjure the element himself. He listened as Kenja would tell him to not worry if he didn’t get it the first time, thinking to himself *Smug bastard*. However regardless of that Asahi seemed pleased that Kenja was able to gather so much information, about sword magic in just a few days. The final bit of the learning process was for Asahi to move the element around a sword once he was able to conjure it. [BREAK][BREAK] Asahi would say “Ok that kinda sounds like a lot but I think we can do that…” his words would trail off for a moment before he would begin to speak once again. “Kenja Ravencrest, will you teach me your pure aura element?” Asahi would quickly grin as he said that, as this would serve as the beginning of the elemental learning process. He knew Kenja would say yes but according to the research this makeshift pact must be formed. [BREAK][BREAK] Once Kenja would do his part and agree to teaching him Asahi would then allow Kenja to go on his rant to discuss the magic itself. Asahi had some basic understanding of pure aura as it was a magic he had seen throughout his travels, and more recently with Kenja himself. However hearing more about it would surely give him a better understanding to the point of being able to control the magical element.

[attr="class","haniascroll"]Kenja's face softened into a warm smile as Asahi formally asked him to learn his magic element in pure aura magic. "Yes, Asahi, I will gladly be your teacher in pure aura magic," he replied, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility in guiding his friend on this magical journey. With the bond of allowance formed between them, Kenja began to delve into the intricacies of pure aura magic. He took his time to explain the nature of the magic and how it felt to him, wanting Asahi to grasp the essence of this unique and versatile power. "Pure aura magic is a non-elemental magic, meaning that it doesn't belong to a specific element like fire or water. Instead, pure aura mages utilize their raw mana to craft their spells, tapping into the very essence of their being to shape the magic according to their will," Kenja began, his voice clear and composed as he delved into the explanation. He continued, "Each pure aura mage is said to have a distinct color to their mana, reflecting their personality and inner self. It's believed that the color of one's mana can reveal aspects of their character and even their strengths and weaknesses.""For me, my pure aura magic feels like a gentle flow of cool air, akin to a refreshing breeze on a warm day. It's calming and steady, yet filled with potential energy," Kenja elaborated, his light blue eyes gleaming with enthusiasm as he described his magical affinity. He went on to talk about the sensations he experienced when channeling pure aura magic. "When I use pure aura magic, it's as if I'm tapping into a reservoir of limitless potential. I feel a deep connection to the mana around me, and I can manipulate it with precise control.""It's a versatile magic and this adaptability is one of the reasons why pure aura mages are known for their creativity and resourcefulness, though we are far and few between." Kenja added, emphasizing the wide range of possibilities the magic presented.
Kenja hoped that Asahi was absorbing every word he said, he was wanting him to understand the magic on a deeper level. He made mental notes, keen to remember every detail as he sought to master pure aura magic himself. Kenja continued his explanation, touching on the uniqueness of pure aura mages. "Each pure aura mage is said to be vastly different from one another, much like individual snowflakes with their distinct patterns. It means that every mage approaches their magic in their own way, resulting in a wide array of techniques and spells within the realm of pure aura magic. In terms of power, pure aura magic is capable of being both gentle and fierce. It can be used for subtle manipulations or unleash devastating attacks, making it a versatile and formidable force in the hands of a skilled mage," Kenja elucidated, providing a comprehensive overview of the magic's capabilities. He then paused for a moment, allowing Asahi to absorb the information before proceeding. "Now, I'll show you how to connect with the pure aura and feel its presence," Kenja said, his expression focused and determined. He held out his hand, his palm facing upward, and his mana began to gather, forming a gentle glow of golden light. "Place your hand over mine, Asahi. Focus on your own mana, and try to sense the connection between it and the pure aura," Kenja instructed, giving Asahi the opportunity to experience the magic firsthand.

[attr="class","augusttext"] Just as Asahi suspected, Kenja had answered yes to teaching him his element. The pact had been formed and it was now time for the classroom portion of the training to start, where Kenja would explain different aspects of Pure Aura. Kenja would explain how pure aura was an elemental that existed outside of the normal elements. Most elements granted to mages branched from or are an combination of the original 4 of water, fire, earth, and air. From what Kenja was saying pure aura was completely non elemental as it was the manifestation of one’s raw mana. Asahi took in the information with the nod of his head, all the while trying to get a feel of the magic. *Non-elemental magic… this may have been the magic I should have been using all along. If sword magic is able to use all elements, than this might just be the key to my potential* [BREAK][BREAK] Kenja would go on describing how each pure aura user was unique in how their mana appeared, with the color of said mana being an indicator of many things. When Kenja spoke of these colors Asahi had a random flashback to the many times the golden dawn mage had used spells around him. He remembered that the color of these spells and Kenya’s aura were golden in color. Going forward to describe his mana more, in terms of how it felt. He described the feeling as calm yet full of energy, an idea Asahi could agree with seeing as he experienced it first hand. Asahi would nod his head before saying “Yeah, I can get behind that description it seems pretty accurate from my experience with you.” [BREAK][BREAK] The classroom lesson of pure aura would continue on as Kenja explained how it felt like when he used his magic. He described it as tapping into a pool of almost unlimited potential, and having a strong connection to the raw mana around you. He said that having such a deep connection to the mana gave him more control over it and how he could use it. Asahi would then begin to think on this connection and how he would have to tap into it. Words would ring inside of Asahi’s head as he thought about Kenja’s statement in the lesson, speaking on how pure aura mages were known for their creativity and resourcefulness. [BREAK][BREAK] During the final stretch of the classroom lesson Kenja would delve into the uniqueness of each pure aura mage, and how they took their approach to magic. He said how one could use their aura for powerful blast and strikes, or for the use of subtle manipulations. Pure aura was surely a magic to be desired as it could do basically anything one could want from magic, all while having no direct tie to the elemental wheel of magic. Kenja would then take a brief moment from speaking, where Asahi would take the time to gather his thoughts on the subject. Before long though Kenja would look to Asahi and say that he was now going to demonstrate how he used pure aura and connected to its power. [BREAK][BREAK] Kenja would raise his hand to the sky and generate a glowing ball of pure aura magic. Following the creation of such glowing ball he would tell Asahi to place his hand over his so that he could try to feel and establish a connection between his mana and pure aura itself. Asahi would nod in agreeable before placing his hand over Kenja’s. Instantly Asahi could feel some sort of connection between him and the aura Kenja had been displaying, this was possibly due to what interactions Asahi had already had with the element. As he tried to sense out and feel for this magical connection, he would remember what Kenja said about each mage of the magic having a unique color to them. So as part of his training Asahi would visualize the color blue, in a hope that visualizing the color while trying to form a connection would speed up the process.

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝Light as feathers, as fleeting as Zephyr, one moment they breathed gold, the next they faded.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"] Kenja stepped forward, his eyes locking with Asahi's, a spark of excitement igniting within him. "Now, my friend, it's your turn to take the reins of pure aura and produce it on your own. Trust in the bond you've formed with the element, and remember how it feels to you." He gestured to the ornate sword now. "Try to channel the magic through the blade. Feel the essence of pure aura as it flows and dances with your mana. Allow it to become one with your being." Kenja's voice became a reassuring guide, encouraging Asahi to find the magic within himself. "Picture the sensation I described before, that gentle flow of cool air, the refreshing breeze that resonates with your soul. Embrace that feeling, let it guide you. See if it becomes strong or if it leads you to a new feeling for you."
Kenja would take a seat now. He didn't know how long it would take Asahi to produce pure element or how long it would take him to move it up and down a blade. It could be fast given that he's a four-leaf clover wizard or it could take hours being this is his first time learning a new element. "As a pure aura mage, you wield an extraordinary gift. It is not bound by the confines of elemental limitations, but rather, it embraces the vast expanse of your imagination and inner self," Kenja declared, his words empowering, encouraging and full of pride. "The pure aura is like a blank canvas, waiting for you to paint your own masterpiece. You must delve deep within yourself, exploring the depths of your heart and soul to unlock the true potential of this magic," he continued, his voice now a gentle cadence, guiding Asahi on this. "Feel the ebb and flow of pure aura as it courses through your veins. Let it awaken what lies dormant within you. Allow it to merge with your emotions, your dreams, and your aspirations," Kenja implored, his words carrying the weight of years of magical expertise with his magic. "You must learn to dance with the magic, harmonizing your essence with its ethereal flow. Trust in your instincts, for they will be your compass on this path," Kenja urged, his eyes never leaving Asahi's form, as if he could see the burgeoning potential within his friend. "Asahi, remember that pure aura is not just a force to be harnessed but a profound connection with the very raw magic. As you wield this power, you become a vessel of inspiration and change," Kenja's voice grew even more fervent, filled with the fervor of a teacher igniting the spark of enlightenment. "You are a mage with a four-leaf clover grimoire and full of limitless possibilities, free from the shackles of convention. Your mana, your will, your pure aura—it is all yours to shape and mold, like an artist crafting the most exquisite masterpiece," he declared, his words almost poetic in their intensity. "As you stand here now, a conduit of pure aura, let this moment fill you with purpose and determination. Embrace the challenge that lies ahead, for it is in the crucible of challenge that true greatness is forged," Kenja emphasized, his words echoing with unwavering conviction. "Because once you do, you will know how to learn this element and others; fire, water, earth, wind, and others. Who knows, you may even be able to learn other elements that only others with four-leaf clover grimoires may learn!"
As Kenja finished his impassioned speech, the training area seemed to bristle with magical energy, as if the air acknowledged the moment's significance. Even when emotionless and stoic the Kenja tried to have a way with words. Kenja nodded, a glimmer of pride and assurance in his eyes. "Take your time and feel the magic flowing through the blade. Allow it to become an extension of your will. It may not come effortlessly at first, but with perseverance, you'll forge a connection that will fuel your growth."
Kenja would be patient and wait for however long it took Asahi's training to reach a moment of truth. With the pure aura coursing through the sword, Kenja would stand ready to give the final test. Kenja's expression remained stoic, but there was a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. "Now, Asahi, show me that you can maintain it around the blade." With a knowing glint in his eyes, Kenja reached for a less ornate training sword from the nearby weapon rack. He brandished it with practiced ease and turned to face Asahi, his expression resolute. "Now, let's take your practice of pure aura to the next level," he said, his voice a steady cadence. "Block my strike and try to maintain it around the blade as you strike and block without losing it," Kenja commanded, swinging the training sword with measured precision hoping he'd block it.

[attr="class","augusttext"] As Asahi and Kenja technically held hands, Asahi could begin to feel the connection form. It would take very little time before Kenja would tell Asahi that it was his time to now move on to the practical parts of the lesson which would involve Asahi having to use the element himself. Asahi was trying to figure out the best way to complete this task as in truth he still did not feel ready. He knew that Kenja would be here while he made his attempt, yet the task still seemed like a daunting one. However the noble Ravencrest thought of this and gestured towards a very ornate sword he had with him. He would tell Asahi to try and channel the pure aura element through the sword, which he believed would make the task easier for the black bull. [BREAK][BREAK] Asahi would nod before saying “I get the idea, howeverI shall use my own blade as it has sentimental value that I believe will provide valuable help to the lesson.” He looked over the sword that Kenja had though, noting its beautiful appearance. Asahi would reach for his waist mounted katana and draw the sword, holding it firmly with both hands. As he did this Kenja would tell Asahi to remember the sensation he had described to him earlier, and told him to embrace the feeling in the hopes that it would guide him to the use of the magic either that or it would guide him to a feeling all his own to use the magic. [BREAK][BREAK] As Asahi focused on the sword he held and the breeze of cool air, he would close his eyes and visualize that blue color he had thought about earlier. This blue was dark and mysterious and gave an air of silence that he felt around him as he focused. He began to slowly feel something surging within him, however he was slightly confused as to what more he had to do to bring it out further. As Asahi focused on the task at hand Kenja would continue to speak, his voice serving as a guide. Asahi used Kenya’s voice as a sort of inner speaker since he could not see him with his eyes currently closed. [BREAK][BREAK] Moment after moment of silence continued until finally Asahi could hear a sound within his mind. The sound he heard was that of a sword cutting through the silent air that he felt within, and just as he heard this sound within himself he seemingly began to summon forth the element around his katana. As he held the blade a dark blue colored magical aura could be seen around the sword, of course he had yet to see it though as his eyes were still closed. Upon opening his eyes though he would see that he was able to complete the task, and was finally able to summon the pure aura for himself. A smile would mark his face as he would begin to exclaim “Hahaha I did it! I was actually able to use an element besides shadow!” His cheers went away for a second as he realized that his aura was a dark blue color, unlike that of Kenya’s which was golden. [BREAK][BREAK] “So when I was trying to summon the pure aura, I also visualized a color since you said everyone’s aura was different… I thought about the color of my eyes but I guess those other factors you mentioned had some sort of influence as well.” He said to Kenja, trying to explain his process. Once Asahi had reached the main goal of being able to summon the element, he now had to practice actually controlling said element. The most basic form of control was form him to be able to turn it on and off at will, and so that is what he would try first. He would focus in on that sound he heard in his head, the sound of a sword striking the cold silent air and slicing through it. When he focused in on that sound and the feeling of the silent air he was able to turn the element on and off, which could be visibly seen as the mana would surge through the sword before suddenly disappearing and reappearing. [BREAK][BREAK] At this point Asahi was sure that he had learned the element successfully and it would seem that Kenja also had saw this, as he would stand up seemingly ready to give his final test. The Ravencrest teen would go to reach for a less ornate sword from the area, before looking to Asahi and saying that he would now need to block a strike from Kenja without losing his control of pure aura over the sword. Asahi would nod before saying “I will try my best… I am sure I can make it happen though.” With the power of pure aura surrounding his mundane sword he would enter a high guard stance, ready to block the impeding strike that was to come his way. He would take a deep breathe as he prepared himself for what was to come next.

[attr="class","haniascroll"] As Kenja prepared to swing the sword at Asahi, he paused for a moment to comment on the symbolic meaning of the deep blue aura Asahi had manifested. "Ah, the color of your aura is quite intriguing, Asahi. Dark blue suggests a more mysterious depth, an ominous quality. It might signify power and responsibility as well. Embrace this uniqueness; it sets you apart in your journey as a wielder of pure aura." With those words of encouragement, Kenja swung the sword towards Asahi, initiating a series of strikes with varying intensity and direction. Each strike represented a different challenge for Asahi to block while maintaining control of the pure aura over his blade.
The first strike came swiftly from the left side, aimed at testing Asahi's reflexes and agility. The second strike was a powerful overhead swing, aiming to gauge Asahi's strength and focus. The third strike came in a diagonal pattern from the right, testing Asahi's adaptability. For the fourth strike, Kenja executed a rapid combination of slashes, aiming to challenge Asahi's concentration. Finally, Kenja lunged forward with a thrusting attack, simulating a more focused and aggressive strike.

[attr="class","augusttext"] Kenja would see the color of Asahi’s dark blue colored aura, and make a comment on it saying what it represented. He used words such as power, mysterious, and ominous among other things, something Asahi put a bit of thought into. However the learning period was yet to be over as now it was time for them to have a test. The test was meant to ensure Asahi could maintain his newly learned pure aura even while in combat. Asahi was ready for Kenja to swing his sword as he waited patiently and before long he would send the first strike. [BREAK][BREAK] The first strike came in fast from Asahi’s left side. As he was currently holding the sword in a traditional high guard, it was easy to defend from most front facing attacks. He would parry the attack with the magic around the sword holding up strongly. [BREAK][BREAK] The second attack was an overhead swing, to which Asahi would meet with his blade dead on deflecting it. The dark blue aura coating the sword seemed to be doing its intended job of enhancing his sword. With each swing the challenge seemed to increase ever so slightly, and Asahi could tell he was already having a hard time using this new magic and keeping up. However he knew that he had the potential to do it, it was just a challenge he did not know if he could overcome yet. [BREAK][BREAK] The third strike came in a diagonal fashion from the right, Asahi used the edge of the katana to guide the sword away. On that strike Asahi could see the aura start to disrupt just a bit as Kenja’’s blade scraped against it. He thought to himself *I just gotta focus harder… just a little bit more…* He would boost himself up with these inner thoughts and the aura around the sword would begin to have much more presence to it, as he began to understand and grasp the element more. [BREAK][BREAK] With each and every strike it would seem Asahi was slowly getting more used to using the new element he had just learned. He felt like this elect might be his new go to when this was all over with, but the thought quickly faded as the 4th strike came in. This 4th attack was no singular strike but a barrage of rapid shallow strikes. Asahi was able to block most but not all of them, for some he would need to actually move his body to dodge. [BREAK][BREAK] The boy thought the test to be over but Kenja had one more assault left, and that was to lunge at Asahi. This strike felt much more aggressive, much more powerful as he came moving forward. Asahi had no way to dodge, but not only that but dodging wasn’t the purpose here, he knew he needed to counter with his aura. He would bring his sword from down low and would meet Kenja’s blade before the attack could land, knocking it off course. With that it would seem the test was finally over, and Asahi now seemed to be able to access pure aura magic. He would sheath his sword before looking to Kenja with a smile. “Oh thank you so much kind sensei. We must have more classroom sessions like this again… However I shall take my leave for now. I appreciate your help.” Asahi would say all this would a slight tone of sarcasm in his voice, as he would begin to walk out of the area and leaving the estate. [BREAK][BREAK] [Exit]

[attr="class","haniaimage"]❝Light as feathers, as fleeting as Zephyr, one moment they breathed gold, the next they faded.❞
[attr="class","haniascroll"] As Kenja stood alone in the study area of the Ravencrest estate, he took a moment to reflect on the recent training session. The memory of the dark blue aura that had surrounded Asahi's sword lingered in his mind. He was impressed by the young black bull's progress and potential, but he knew that the journey of a mage was not without its challenges. The Ravencrest estate, with its rich history and arcane knowledge, held a special place in Kenja's heart. It was a place of tradition, where generations of skilled mages had honed their craft and delved into the mysteries of magic. He had spent countless hours training here, under the watchful eyes of his own mentors, and now it was his turn to guide the next generation.
As he sat back down and opened the book Asahi had left behind, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in being a Ravencrest mage. The estate had its secrets and hidden wonders, and being a part of it was a privilege he cherished deeply. "The pure aura is a formidable magic indeed," he murmured to himself, flipping through the pages. "Its deep blue hue signifies great potential and strength, but it also carries a sense of mystery and enigma. Then again, that is just an educated guess on my part." Kenja found himself drawn to a particular passage that described the ancient origins of sword magic. According to the text, the magic was said to have been first harnessed by an ancient clan of mages who revered the elements of nature. Their deep connection with the world around them allowed them to channel the various forms of elemental energy. As he read, memories of his own training days resurfaced, evoking a mix of nostalgia and determination. He remembered the challenges he faced and the hardships he overcame, all in pursuit of mastering the art of magic and martial combat both. The journey had been arduous, but the knowledge and power he gained had been worth every effort. It was the way of life for a Ravencrest!
The soft rustling of leaves outside the window in the distance brought him back to the present. The Ravencrest estate was an oasis of tranquility, and its serene surroundings seemed to instill a sense of calm and focus in those who trained here. Kenja appreciated these moments of solitude, for they allowed him to dive deep into his studies and explore the vast expanse of magical knowledge within the estate's library. As the sun continued its descent, painting the sky in a tapestry of warm colors, Kenja felt a surge of gratitude for the opportunity to pass on the legacy of Ravencrest to someone. He knew that the world beyond the estate held countless challenges and wonders, and it was his duty to prepare the young mages for the trials that awaited them. Not only that but even to be trained by Kenja and not someone of a higher rank was quite the blessing. With a renewed sense of purpose, he closed the book, its pages now filled with the knowledge he had sought. The evening air was filled with a sense of magic and possibility, and Kenja couldn't help but feel a deep connection to the ancient art he had devoted his life to.
As he made his way back to the heart of the estate, he thought about the legacy he hoped to leave behind. The knowledge he had gained, the experiences he had lived, and the wisdom he had acquired were all part of the greater tapestry that was the Ravencrest heritage. He was only 15 and he was thinking like an old man. Once inside the center of the estate, he saw the familiar faces of his fellow family members and servants, each engaged in their current business, duties, and chores.
As he settled into a quiet corner, he thought back to the dark blue aura that had surrounded Asahi's sword during their training session. It was a testament to the potential that lay within each mage, waiting to be unleashed and harnessed for the greater good. The journey of a mage was a path of discovery, growth, and enlightenment. With each new generation that passed through the Ravencrest estate, the legacy continued to thrive, leaving its mark on the world through the magic wielded by its apprentices. With a contented smile, Kenja resumed his studies, knowing that his role as a guardian of the Ravencrest heritage was a duty he cherished. The legacy of the estate would live on, shaping the destinies of mages for generations to come, just as it had done since time immemorial. For now, Kenja would head to bed after his studies.
The next morning, Kenja awoke with a refreshed mind and a sense of determination. After a good night's sleep, he returned to the study to continue his research. As he delved deeper into the tomes and scrolls, the hours flew by, and soon the sun began its descent once again. Realizing that he had lost track of time, Kenja decided to call it a day and head back to the training area. He had left it in a bit of a mess, and it was his responsibility to tidy up after himself. With a swift but purposeful motion, he neatly returned the books to their rightful places on the shelves and reorganized the swords and training weapons. However, as he glanced over the collection of training weapons, he couldn't resist the urge to practice with them for a while. His fingers ran across each weapon, feeling their weight and balance. Kenja selected a new sword, a set of well-crafted daggers, clawed gauntlets, and finally, a quarterstaff.
Stepping out into the training area, Kenja began his training, starting with the new sword. He practiced various swordplay techniques, slashing and thrusting with precision and grace. He moved through drills with fluidity and controlled movements, focusing on honing his muscle memory and reflexes. Next, he switched to the set of daggers, engaging in rapid, intricate movements. He danced around imaginary foes, executing swift strikes and evasive maneuvers. The daggers were an extension of his hands, and he felt a sense of finesse and agility as he wielded them. Moving on to the clawed gauntlets, Kenja's strikes became more ferocious and animalistic. He imagined himself as a predator, tearing through opponents with deadly accuracy. The gauntlets provided him with a sense of primal power, and he relished the feeling of raw strength coursing through his body. Finally, it was time for the quarterstaff, his favorite weapon. As he gripped the staff, memories of his early training days flooded back. He had always been drawn to the versatility and balance of the quarterstaff, and over the years, it had become an extension of himself. With the quarterstaff in hand, Kenja began to execute a series of intricate drills, twirling and spinning the staff with a mesmerizing rhythm. He used it for both offense and defense, sweeping foes off their feet and blocking attacks with ease. The quarterstaff allowed him to keep multiple opponents at bay, using its length to maintain distance and control the battlefield.
As he trained with the quarterstaff, Kenja felt a profound connection with the weapon. It was as if it amplified his abilities, enhancing his speed, strength, and reflexes. The staff's simplicity was deceptive, for in its simplicity lay its greatest strength—the ability to be both a devastating offensive tool and a reliable defensive asset. The quarterstaff was incredibly versatile, suitable for both close-quarters combat and maintaining distance from opponents. It could use it for strikes, blocks, sweeps, and thrusts, making it a well-rounded weapon. The length of the quarterstaff granted him the advantage of striking from a distance, keeping foes at bay, and avoiding close encounters. Not much unlike a spear but without the pointy tip. The staff's lightweight nature allows for swift and fluid movements, making it easy to maneuver and react quickly in combat. The quarterstaff's long reach allows for effective blocking and parrying, providing ample defensive capabilities in battle. The staff's two-handed grip offers superior control and stability, enabling the wielder to generate more power in their strikes. Though the quarterstaff does have some limitations in certain situations, such as confined spaces where its length may be a hindrance, Kenja found that its advantages far outweighed its disadvantages. Its simplicity, versatility, and power made it his weapon of choice, one that he had mastered over the years and one that had become an integral part of his identity as a mage and a warrior.
As the sun finally set and the day turned into the middle of the night, Kenja knew that his training had come to an end for a bit. He needed to return to the Golden Dawn headquarters in the morning. With a satisfied smile, he returned the quarterstaff to its place and made his way back to his quarters. As he settled in for the night, he felt a sense of contentment knowing that he had upheld the Ravencrest legacy not only through his studies but also through his training with the ancient weapons of his ancestors.
The next morning, Kenja rose early with the first rays of dawn illuminating the Ravencrest estate. He performed his daily routine of meditation and stretching, centering his mind and body for the day ahead. As he stood amidst the tranquil beauty of the estate, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to call this place his home. After his morning rituals, Kenja headed to the dining hall for breakfast. There, he shared a meal with his fellow family members, engaging in friendly conversations about their lives. The camaraderie among them was evident, and Kenja cherished these moments of connection with his family and peers. As he savored his breakfast, he thought about the day's agenda. He had a special meeting planned at the Golden Dawn headquarters, a place of immense importance for those in his squad. The Golden Dawn was renowned for a reputation for doing everything to absolute perfection. The men and women of his squad are often seen in the public eye as the epitome of most heroic the Magic Knights. Finishing his meal, Kenja bid farewell to everyone and made his way to the headquarters. The journey was a peaceful one, with the morning sunlight filtering through the leaves of the forest, casting dappled patterns on the ground.
