[attr="class","echotemp] Echo would stand on a rooftop as he lit a cigarette that was currently in his mouth. The rogue fallen noble had went to ground after he had lost everything and everyone. His group that he was forming fell apart all at the last second, and his brother Mania, his wife Hint, and his sibling Pasha were all gone. All that remained was Zeus, Thalia, and the hidden estate. However Echo was currently alone for this little small excursion. He would inhale the cigarette smoke deeply before blowing it out in an amazing exhale. The feeling that Jaegar brand cigarettes gave was almost euphoric, as the slight hints of the drug known as refrain gave. [break][break] As he looked down at the town below he thought to himself *Its time to cause a bit of trouble and let the world know that the Jaguars are far from done. I will reclaim what I once had…* He was here to cause just to cause a stir and see what might happen. He would make his way down to the ground level of the building and make his way outside. Once outside on the street he would approach the first person he seen. [break][break] He would see a much older man, who appeared to be in his mid 40’s at the latest. He would say to the man “Hello sir, may I trouble you for a lighter or matches? The wind put my cigarette out and I seemed to have misplaced my set of matches.” This was all just a ploy to have a bit of fun with his victim before he moved on to his end goal. [break][break]

[attr="class","echotemp] The man would turn to face Echo before smiling and saying “Uh im afraid I don’t sorry, I may have some change so you can buy some more. Hold on let me check.” The man would begin to rummage through his pockets in search of the change, however as he would begin to do so Echo would grab him by the collar of his shirt laughing as he did so. The man would instantly begin to struggle and squirm but not being able to get free. Echo would begin to speak to the man while holding him with his right hand, and using his left hand to magically light a cigarette. “I didn’t really need the matches as you can see, what I needed was some poor soul to hear me out. And it looks like you’re the unfortunate winner.” [break][break] Echo would take the tip of his cigarette and shove it straight into the man’s eye, burning it to a stet of ruin. He would then release the man who would fall to the ground in pain before saying “I want you to run off and tell people that the Jaguars have returned. Tell them that the Sword of Deceiving Light has returned!” The man was now screaming as the pain from his eye would begin to intensify, as the adrenaline levels in his body would fluctuate. Echo would kick the man who laid on the ground screaming tell him “Go run off and do as you’re told before I decide to just kill you.” The red haired mage would draw his white wakizashi and point it towards the man as a sign to show he was serious. [attr="class","echotemp] The man still cowering in fear would muster up the strength to get up and run away, heading to do what Echo had commanded. The red haired mage would sheath his sword, and begin to pull out a new cigarette. Lighting the fresh cig, he would continue his path down the street. As he looked around the empty streets he would take notice of a light about to turn the corner. The light in question was the flame flickering from a torch, being held by one of 3 men. The men were guards from the night watch from the looks of it, and Echo had a few questions that he thought they may be able to help with. [break][break] Echo would approach the group exhaling a cloud of smoke, as the men looked him up and down. As they watched his approach for a moment one of the men’s face would suddenly turn ghost white as he would say “We gotta run that Echo Ja~” His speech was cut short by Echo who had stabbed the man in the throat with his katana. The other two men stood beside their comrade in terror, not understanding how the red head could move so quickly. Echo would pull his sword from the first guard, before taking it and swiftly decapitating the 2nd. The third guard was then stabbed in the leg, and pinned to the spot he stood by the sword. [break][break] Echo would take a hit from his cigarette before blowing the smoke into the man’s face and speaking saying “Now that your friends are dead, me and you can have a chat. Now imma ask a few questions because I haven’t been around here for a while, but I need you to be honest when answering… if you aren’t honest you will meet the same fate as them. Now the first question, since you are familiar with the Jaegars you must have heard of Pasha Jaegar. The last of the good ones… I need to know where I can find their corpse.”

[attr="class","echotemp] The man struggled to unpin himself from the ground, however it seemed Echo had managed to stab his sword deep into the ground making the man unable to move his left leg at all. He listened to the Jaegar as he spoke, asking about the body of his fallen sibling. The guard would wince as he would begin to reply saying “Why the hell would I know where the body got buried? I heard that the magic knights did a sweep on your family… they confiscated a bunch, killed a few people, etc. From my knowledge the magic knights handled the burial of anybody they killed in that raid. Im just a town guard man, I don’t have the information you need please just let me go!” [break][break] Echo would take a drag of his cigarette before he would walk up to the man and blow the smoke in his face. He looked the guard deep into his eyes, trying to tell if he was lying or not. As he looked in the man’s eyes he saw nothing but fear coming from within them, and that fear would lead Echo to believe the man was telling the truth. Grabbing the hilt of the katana as he maintained eye contact saying “Well I guess that bit of information is better than nothing. I knew I picked the right guy to let live out of you lot. Now tell me where I can find the magic knights stationed here, and I will confirm this information myself.” [break][break] As Echo grabbed the hilt the man would begin to scream out in pain, as he could feel a majority of the blade running thru his leg. Echo would try to pull the blade from the man’s leg but every slight movement would cause him to scream more and more. Echo would suck his teeth as he grew tired of hearing the screams, before he would pull out his wakizashi and say “I was gonna let you live for being helpful, however what I won’t go for is the screaming.” He would take the short sword and decapitate the screaming man swiftly, and would watch as his head would hit the ground and roll by his feet. Echo could now freely remove his sword from the body of the now dead man, but just as he did so he could hear the sound of footsteps approaching. [break][break] Flicking his blade to get the blood off of it, he would look around to survey his surroundings. As he looked around he would take another pull from his cigarette, very skillfully might one add as he was still holding his short sword with the same hand. “Look come on out now. Im really not in the time for any jokes or games. I only came back to the borders of this god forsaken country to recover my family. Leave now or die!” Just as he finished his threatening speech the people he heard would come forward, all of them with grimoires at the ready and all wearing the mantle of the Azure Deer squad. [break][break] “Echo Jaegar, by the order of the Wizard King you and your family are all wanted criminals and we will be taking you in!” Echo would look over the group of five magic knights as he would suck his teeth, before saying “Do you guys really get paid enough to be out here dying? The way I see this is I could just turn you all to ash and bone right now…. OR we can pretend this didn’t happen.” After the red head spoke a magic knight would emerge from the shadows and begin to speak to Echo saying “Not possible Mr. Jaegar. We have been watching you for months, we are only choosing to act now because you have returned to the Clover Kingdom. You should have stayed in the outlander where we had no reason to pursue.” [break][break] Echo laughed after hearing the magic knight but not too much. Echo gauged from the man’s words that he was in charge of this group of knights and probably high up on the ranking ladder they had. Echo would drop both of his swords before he would take a pull from his cigarette. He would then approach the magic knight with his hands held high and the cigarette still in his mouth, once they were about 2 meters away from each other Echo would speak saying “You wanna know something? Let me tell you about why I smoke cigarettes.” It was a big surprise within itself that the man or his fellow knights allowed Echo to get so close but to them it probably looked as if he was about to surrender.

[attr="class","echotemp] The leader of the group of magic knights face would peak with curiosity as Echo spoke with the knight saying “If you are coming in and won’t cause us a fuss sure I will listen to your sob story. I read your file so I know basically everything the kingdom knows about you….” The man stopped for a moment before smacking the back of his own head and saying “Im sorry that was kinda rude, I know all about you but you know nothing of me. As the arresting knight I shall tell you my name is Jason Kuminga. Now tell me did you pick up such a nasty habit after you killed your mother? Or maybe it was after you killed your brother and the majority of your family?” [break][break] Echo’s face would grow blank and pale as he listened to Jason, however this face of blank shock would instantly go away as Echo started to remember the events mentioned. His cigarette would fall from his mouth and hit the ground as Echo grew visibly more angry. “I was gonna be cool about all this but you crossed a line pal. And for that how about you tell my mother and older brother hello for me?” Right after he spoke he would clap his hands two times and say “Rain.” After doing so a 50 meter area around Echo would be covered in what appeared to be rainfall. However this was no rain, but instead it was small senbons made of light. As the senbons fell from the sky the magic knights who surrounded Echo would all be struck multiple times and would succumb to their injuries. Meanwhile their leader Jason had used some sort of defense spell to protect himself. [break][break] “I knew you wouldn’t go so easily which is why I came with this spell already in a semi active state, so I could shield myself at a moments notice. But I can tell how powerful you are so there’s no way I can take you in solo. I guess you win this time Sir Jaegar.” With that Jason would begin to walk away however Echo would not allow such a thing. As Jason attempted to walk away Echo would speed off in front of him and stopping him in his tracks. “No way I let someone so high up on the food chain walk away… now listen I came here just to recover my siblings and underlings bodies. Once I get those bodies and properly lay my people to rest, this country will have nothing to fear from me ever again. So tell me where the hell they are!”

[attr="class","echotemp] After he made his demands to the magic knight Jason, the knight would simply laugh as he stared down the rogue. Jason would throw his hands in the air with a shrug and blank face saying “Those people you are talking about and their bodies are most likely long gone. Probably buried out in the forsaken region somewhere. Just another nameless grave. Besides from the records you still have your father and any other family members you spared from your massacre, why so interested in one sibling and a bunch of guys you shared no bond to?” [break][break] Echo would begin to fill with rage and anger as he listened to Jason. Echo would attempt to rush towards the man and land a punch however when his fist should have connected , Echo would instead phase through him. He would gather himself before looking the man over. Echo was slightly confused be he knew such a trick could have any number of explanations, so he would instead choose to asses to situation. He would take nearby piece of rubble from the ground and kick it at Jason to see if it would go through him as well. [break][break] The small little rock would too indeed phase through the knight was well, which would prompt Echo to say “Ah so you are an illusion or something like that huh? You must be a powerful sensory mage to pull the wool over my eyes…” Jason would laugh before saying “I would love to take the credit for this, however I am not the one who cast this spell. This was merely a preset trap, specifically to be used against you. However I was actually here before you launched that attack… I left shortly after that.” [break][break] Echo would simply scoff before saying “Well if you aren’t gonna fight me, and you aren’t even here anymore… im just gonna leave too. You won’t tell me where my family is so its fine I’ll just stay in clover and cause more mayhem. I am stronger now than when I left so dont test me. You have fun with your illusion bullshit, im gone I got shit to do.” With those words and the revelation that no one could stop him from leaving, Echo would begin to walk off into the night. The illusionary clone of Jason would simply watch Echo as he would walk off for a moment, before he would begin to fade away due to the spell being deactivated. “Let the hunt begin Sir Jaegar, only this time you shall be the prey…” Jason would say just as he faded to dust. [break][break] Hearing the words Echo would simply smile *Game on then! I hope Velondra doesn’t get mad hahaha. But its time I show this country who I am… Who the Jaegars are!* [break][break] [Exit]
