Hope bloom from the Abyss. Sung a soft voice sitting on a ledge of a low standing wall, watching the various faces and bodies pass by the cotton candy pink haired female. Her hair was up in a ponytail on one side, a purple ribbon tied in a bow secured it, her equally cotton candy pink eyes glistened in glee even with the dreary cloud covered day over head. A Black laced pink umbrella rested against the girl's left shoulder as she adorned a showy lavender dress. It was much too regal for the area but the girl didn't seem to care if she fit in or not. She was in her element and in an area she felt safe and at home.
Hope withered in the abyss She continued softly swinging her feet as she continued singing her song to herself. She was just sitting on the low wall seemingly just enjoying the day. However, the young girl was actually waiting for a target, a signal, for the prey she was going to enjoy tearing to shreds with a soft smile. No one batted an eye towards the girl. She was seemingly harmless to the naked eye. Just some noble man's daughter in the middle of a rogue crawled area of safety. She made herself to obvious for a reason. All she was had a reason. One only a few will ever understand or see beyond the disguise she adorned.
Saeka looked around before spotting the noble looking male she saw walking with a woman giggling and hugging his arm tightly. She furrowed her burrow in annoyance. There was an additional target now. She just needed the man alone but the woman was with him. seeming to steal any opportunity she could have. Saeka jumped down from the wall dusting off her skirt before following after them from a distance. She was going to see what she can do but wasn't against ending both the target and the annoying woman with him.
It was a strange feeling, not having much to do at this time around. Usually Lucien's uncle would have more work for him to do either from himself or from another associate of his. Yet as Lucien's memory reflected upon the candle lit office as shadows danced upon the walls. Sitting behind a meager wooden desk was a gentleman with dirty blonde hair that was slicked back with gel. The air felt like it was choking Lucien's lungs as the man exhaled a puff of smoke that carried a strong scent of peppermint. Embers briefly flared within the pipe as the man took another puff from it.
Lucien stood at the front with only a wooden door behind his back as his hazel eyes rested upon the well dressed man. The thin stack of parchment on his desk was flanked with a small pot of ink with a cork stopper which bore no particular seal. Adjacent to the stack was a brass pen with a sharp point that has stayed with the business man for years. Dres contemplated his next move, but nothing came to mind that needed his immediate attention. So he brought his green eyes down from the ceiling to level upon Lucien's duet of blue-green oculus with a warm smile. His pearl white teeth flashed past his beard that framed his lips and along his strong jawline.
“You have done well, Lucien. But I'm afraid that I don't have anything for you to do today. Why don't you take the rest of the day off and relax?” He suggested. Lucien was familiar with how his uncle worked to some extent. As it usually meant that either it wasn't the right time or there were conditions that needed to be met before Dres sent his nephew out on another job. Such things often took up time, and frankly Lucien felt his shoulders relax somewhat.
“Alright then, let me know when a job offer comes up.” Lucien said. He wasn’t the type to be greedy, but Lucien was an opportunistic young man. Getting jobs was the bread and butter for anyone that wanted to make a living. Of course, he'd be lying if he said that he wasn't interested to see what other magical baubles he could swipe for a heavy yule's worth. Dres grunted in acknowledgement as he separated the pipe from his lips. “Eh, get out of here already. I'll fetch ya when I need ya.”
That was his queue to leave, Lucien wagered. The young man simply nodded his head before he turned on his heel to walk out the door. The humidity brushed across his exposed face as the tugging wind brushed through his ash blonde hair that cascaded to his shoulders. With the time given to him, Lucien wasn’t sure what else to do other than eat, bathe, sleep, and then back to work as usual. His arms felt compressed from his elbows down to his wrists were a cloth of earthly colors wrapped around Lucien’s arms.
His leather boots, like a mockery to his own heart, were slowly paced upon the stone texture. The blanket of gray clouds loomed over the town like an ominous storm with no sound or flashes of light to be made. It just eerily drifted above the refuge as it painted the world beneath a coloration of gray and black. Lights flickered to life within the street lamps as if to banish the encroaching darkness, but anyone would know that the flash of a dagger was still deadly no matter if they’re in the light or in the dark.
Lucien’s dual vision of hazel lingered upon the scenery in front of him as a sigh rolled off his lips like the whisper of unspoken words that remained trapped inside his mind. His left hand reached over to his right wrist to hook a black elastic band with his index finger and pull it down to just his right thumb and middle finger. There as his feet carried him down the streets, his hands reached up to grab his slightly curly bangs and the top part of his hair with a pull into a tail behind his head. With a deft dance of practiced motions, he tied the tuft of hair with the band.
It was then that his blue-green eyes spotted a peculiar couple in the distance. A well dressed noble that stole the attention of a singular woman whose arm snaked around his own. However, what really drew his attention wasn’t the man or the woman as they whispered sweet nothings with flustered cheeks and their eyes focused upon each other. Instead it was the ring that the man wore over his left index finger that was a brass band with some insignia engraved upon it. Likely a signet ring from the looks of it, Lucien wagered. And it was the perfect thing to swindle the man out of his money so to speak.
Ordinarily, the mere thought of being around too many people that he didn’t know would have been out of the question for Lucien. His nerves would have been too frayed to really do anything other than appear withdrawn from them. However, the thought of securing that ring, perhaps not to sell it as there was always a risk someone might recognize it, but just the thrill of the art was something that Lucien couldn’t pass up. It was like telling him not to snatch the gem of someone’s heart and dreams when it was just begging to be plucked.
A smile played on his lips as Lucien walked along the street before a sliver of light reflecting off the surface within the corner of his vision. It drew his attention to the source as he was naturally attracted to shiny things. But his curiosity was interrupted when the man that was unknowingly the target from more than one person collided shoulders with Lucien’s own left shoulder. The teen backpedaled on his feet as his wide eyes snapped to the frustrated figure. Lucien caught a whiff of alcohol and cologne emanating from the man like an aura.
“Oh! Sorry about that.” Lucien quickly excused himself as he pivoted on his back foot to allow the disturbed couple pass. The man groaned as he spoke with slurred words. “Watch where you are going kid!”
The woman shot him a cutting glare, but her expression immediately brightened the instant the man turned his focus upon the lady. Pretty smiles and batting eyelashes was all it took to eat away the intrusion upon the man’s features. Lucien continued to walk the direction he originally was moving towards with his back turned. His right hand briefly raised to his temple with the index and bird finger as he lazily bid them farewell. With another pivot on his heel, Lucien turned to look where he was walking as a peculiar brass band slipped from his left palm to be pinched between his thumb and index finger.
It was supposed to have been a simple gamble of fate as it were, yet the noble appeared to have been coherent enough to be aware when something was missing. No sooner than Lucien had gotten ten paces away from the couple did his ears perked up to hear the cry of alarm from the man.
“Wha-? Where is it? I know I didn’t…” Lucien didn’t have to look back to feel the intense glare on the back of his head. He slightly turned his head just enough for the noble to see the smirk tugged at the corner of Lucien’s lips as he allowed the man to catch a glimpse of brass briefly reflecting light from a nearby streetlamp. Good, he had the man’s attention at least. “You thieving brat! Get back here!”
The noble was quick to pull out the grimoire, but Lucien didn’t hesitate to slink away into a narrow alleyway. With gritted teeth, the man stomped in tandem to his raging heartbeat that pounded in his ears after the boy. “Forget about him, love!” The lady pleaded as she extended a hand to no avail. For her words fell upon deaf ears. By the time the nobleman in question emerged into the alleyway. He only caught a glimpse of the teenager with the ash blonde hair that had turned around the corner on the opposite end.
So the cat and mouse game began, but who was really the cat and who was really the mouse in this scenario? “That ring belongs to me!” He shouted into the abyss. The man sprinted down the alleyway with the grimoire hovered just in front of him. More than once he nearly stumbled over a heap of trash that had built up due to neglect, and was gradually being lured deeper into the complicated web of street routes that Lucien had grown familiar with.

Ryoshi was chilling out on the rooftop in the rogues refuge lazing about as he planned what to do next, he needed to find something to entertain him and right now he didnt feel like screwing with any nobles or residents of the Noble region since he didnt want to risk heat coming down on his head so here he was out of public eye but watching everything from high up, as his eyes scanned the area he spotted a familier head of pink hair moving down below and he smirked remembering the last time he encountered this woman. It had been near a market place and he had tormented her bodyguard and her by sniping them In the crowd with aura charged rocks and while there had been no confrontation he was sure he left both of them a bit paranoid since he had stayed out of their field of vision.hearing a commotion below he glanced down and saw what seemed to be a young man pick pocketing man with some jewelry on and as the boy had smoothly snagged such a thing he was eyeing and had moved away it wasnt quick enough it seemed to elude the mans detection after a few moments.
'I'll give him points for execution but he fumbled at the end' he thought with a feral grin as the boy was good but it seems he hadnt completely masters the art of snatch and run since when Ryoshi did it he made sure he was subtle and by the time the target realized they had been stolen from if they even did he was long gone or blended into the crowd never to be seen,”hmm who will be better for relieving my boredom” he whispered to himself as his gaze shifted from the young pickpocket who had managed to evade the man he stole from and then moved his gaze to Saeka, for now he would follow both of them as he stayed on the rooftops until he felt it was right to descend from high up, at the very least he might get some blackmail on the two.
Saeka Hummed continuing her soft song as she walked a few paces behind her target. She just had to wait. To be patient. She was the hunter...Her prey was in sight. She just had to follow and wait. From her observation the two were most likely either going to the noble's home or looking for a place to be alone. [break][break] Well that was the plan till she watched a fated encounter of the man with a pickpocket. The classic 'accidental bump.' It wasn't anything knew. It was an old trick any rogue knew. Simplest trick that often could fool the blindest of targets. She watched the smaller male accidently run his shoulder into the older male. Apologizing for his doings, allowing the target to think he was in the right, allowing him and the woman walk away as she watched the pickpocket move past her. Showing that smirk of obvious knowledge he was successful in his accomplishment as she turned to watch him, twirling her umbrella within her hands. It was then she heard the old man finally realize what he was missing, what happened. She took some steps back allowing the man to head fully after the younger man. ignoring the woman's call as Saeka herself whistled happily Moving towards the alley humming gently as a sickly sweet giggle escaped her lips. [break][break] The pickpocket was helping her out more then he knew. She watched the target knock over trash bags and garbage as she shut the umbrella before grinning allowing a soft whisper to escape her lips as a excited twisted excitement could be seen in her eyes. She shaked the umbrella acting to get wiping garbage off it as in truth a lavender shadow seal with black wisps formed in front of Saeka as from that seal was a seemingly ornate obsidian dagger with a lavender mist almost encasing it around the size of a ruler. What this actually is, is a dagger made from pure black shadow with a lavender shadow surrounding it. She popped her umbrella back open holding it over her shoulder again as the dagger lifted itself up flying towards the man stabbing deep into his back. She heard his gasp of pain falling face first into a muddy puddle. [break][break] "Oh dear! Mister are you alright?!" She called out in shock moving towards him as she dispelled the dagger. One shift strike, let him either bleed out as a drunk that got too clumsy or die from his infected wounds as anyone knew the city wasn't the cleanest. She lifted her hand up feeling her bow. She was debating whether to show that little trick or not. [break][break] She moved to the man watching him attempt to get up as she crouched down adjusting her umbrella over them as in her free hand a stick rested. She poked the wound allowing the stick to get lodged in it as she tilted her head "Poor little man. Can't pay what you owe...now your life is forfeit.." She spoke softly with a grin. "Little mousie, Just stop fighting. You been caught by the cat in a trap not my making. Well if you stop that would be so boring." She spoke standing up as she moved forward taking ahold of his grimoire looking at it "Gross? What pathetic magic for a noble man." She spoke in laughter " Salt magic... How disgusting." She spoke dropping the grimoire at her feet as she moved past him side stepping his grab for her foot. She stopped and looked back at him as her bright, delighted pink eyes were not cold and blood thirsty. "How dare you think you have any right to touch my ankles you flifthy bag of meat." She spoke allowing venom to lace her words in disgust "Your not worth staining my sanctuary or my weapons." She spoke watching the man bleed out . Even if the wound was shallow. He was drunk and used so much energy chasing after the boy. He was to die in a drunken stupper falling in the disgusting alley. [break][break] "Now where did that male go?" She asked herself out loud not missing a beat. The whole actions a moment ago was non existent in her mind. [break][break]

Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Air Pressure ¦ Mist Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (Necklace) Magic Specializations: Sensory ¦ Healing ¦ Physical Reinforcement Appearance: Adunel Lerovup is a simple yet elegant necklace that sits on a delicate silver chain. The pendant itself is around an inch tall by half an inch wide, it is a moonstone surrounded by silver filigree with several silver leaves and small pearls to add to its beauty.
Junior Lore: The creation of this item was thought to be within the Diamond kingdom by a holy man, it isn't been proven one way or another if this is indeed the cage. The former heir to the Zhongli was doing some personal training in the outskirts near the Heart Kingdom when she came across an injured child. The child was to old to take home and so did her best to patch them up, when they regained consciousness they explained what happened and asked for her to take them home. Even though she didn't want to she didn't want to have a child's blood on her hands and so agreed.
When the child was returned she was about to leave but due to the relief of the parents, they insisted on giving her something they considered just as valuable and so was given the necklace. They insisted it wasn't much but in comparison to what she had returned to them, as not to offend them she accepted with every intention of throwing it away, however, she decided against it and so went to the black market to get it appraised and tested. She found out it was indeed valuable and so had it placed in a wooden box with Saeka's name written on top with a note that it was only to be given on her fifteenth birthday so she could appreciate it.
Little did any of the family know that the young heiress would never be there to see their youngest sister's reaction when opening the gift.

Adunel Lerovup is unique in many ways, from the fact it has two elements instead of one, three specializations instead of the normal two and four abilities instead of the normal three, this gives it a perceived edge over many other items because of this fact. In addition to this, any training done by its wearer will grant stats and spell points at a ratio of 1 per 1,500 words as well as once per page allowing it to redirect a spell of the same rank as the item or lower without a clash.
Name of the Ability Z'ar Tobor Type & Uses: Flow¦ 3 Rounds Active ¦ 2 Round Cooldown Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Healing ¦ Physical Reinforcement Mana Cost: 8 ¦ 15 Range & Speed: Self ¦ 10m/s Stats Affected: +2 m/s Speed Description: Saying this ability's name is enough to activate it. The wearer of the necklace gains a light mist around their body allowing them to feel refreshed, due to this sensation they are able to move quicker than normal. A secondary effect of this refreshing mist is that the wearer will be healed for junior rank damage, this healing is still in its infancy and so can only heal grazes, minor cuts, bruises and scratches. In addition to this, it will actively use the clashing rules to try and cleanse debuffs, poisons, toxins and other negative effects.
Name of the Ability Hawga Kagh Ehtaha Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 3 Rounds Active ¦ 2 Rounda Cooldown Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Sensory (Tracking) Mana Cost: 8 ¦ 4 Range & Speed: 25m (+sensory x2) ¦ 10m/s Stats Affected: Description: Saying this ability's name is enough to activate it. This tracking spell is a unique one even among one of its kind as usually physical contact is needed to place the marker, where this can still be applied the wearer of the necklace can use their air pressure to send a bolt of air around the size of an average sized dinner plate in the direction of the one they want to track. Due to the nature of Air Pressure if it makes contact with its intended target it will be knocked back 2m with an additional 5m being added for every 10 strength they have, it, of course, would do no damage allowing the person to believe that it was just a dud spell. Regardless of if it is a touch or a dinner plate-sized orb that hits them an invisible mark in the shape of a lilac scythe would be left. This mark can only be seen with the right amount of sensory or higher.
This mark allows the wearer to track their target over a large distance without requiring a map spell that could possibly be seen to be used. With the use of ammo rules, additional marks can be created allowing for several targets to be tracked at once.
Name of the Ability Lorkor Hofiba Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 3 Rounds Active ¦ 2 Rounds Cooldown Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Physical Reinforcement ¦ Sensory (Illusion) Mana Cost: 8 ¦ 4 Range & Speed: 10m ¦ 10m/s Stats Affected: -2 Sensory ¦ +2m/s speed (self) Description: Whispering the ability's name is enough to activate it. The moment this is done what appears to be a thick wind-filled lilac fog seems to fill the area making it almost if not impossible to see for a single round using the blinding rules, regardless of whether they are blinded or not their mana senses would be reacting strangely. They may not be able to feel a spell coming at times and times that they do feel mana it could be coming from the wrong direction, this includes when they use their own spells. The sensory required to see through the illusion is 10 +2 for every 15 control that the wearer has (if the wearer has the advanced perk puppet master this is reduced to +2 for every 10 control) this can be reduced lower if another sensory mage uses a map spell as shown inside the sensory magic spec. The requirement to see-through the spell will decrease by 2 every round (this will change to every second round if the wearer has the advanced perk shattered psyche). As the illusion is still in its infancy there is a lot of unknown growth it can do. The wearer will find that while they are inside the fog that their speed has slightly increased as they feel a stronger air current around their feet.
Name of the Ability Malakta Lilaste Type & Uses: -- ¦ -- ¦ -- Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Physical Reinforcement Mana Cost: -- ¦ -- Range & Speed: Self ¦ 10m/s Stats Affected: Description: 1/2 Junior rank strength buff This ability passively grants 1/2 Junior rank strength to physical attacks around their hands a faint wind can be felt with the right amount of sensory the aura of the wind can be seen to be lilac in colour. Due to the nature of air pressure, any physical hit the wearer lands causes a knockback equal to 2m with an additional 5m being added for every 10 strength the wearer has. Due to this being a passive ability it will grow with the necklace and so its word count will be added to what the word count required to advance the item itself.
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Shadow Class & Type: Magic ¦ Accessory (Hair bow) Magic Specializations: Transformation Appearance & Lore: A periwinkle silk and lace ribbon fashioned into a double hair bow around three inches wide and one and a half inches in height with a double tail that matches the width of the bow. Although, due to the nature of the specialization it has it may change colour depending on what the wearer wants. near the centre of the bow, there is a small gold and moonstone charm around half the size of a pinky nail.
If a person was to look at the owner of this particular bow they would see nothing but a cute, naive and innocent young noblewoman, what they don't know is that the owner is actually a stone-cold manipulator and killer who has likely in the initial second of meeting a person decided how they would be of best use to her, several ways to kill them and how to dispose of their body. The bow was given to Saeka by her elder brother Xue on her fifteenth birthday, it is like its owner and holds a deadly secret that only Saeka and Xue know. Abilities: While worn the owner of Hidden Secrets has access to the advanced perk Mystic's touch
Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 3 rounds active ¦ 2 rounds cooldown Rank & Specialization: Junior ¦ Transformation (Temperature Changing) Mana Cost: 8 ¦ 4 Range & Speed: 10m (AoE) ¦ 10m/s Stats Affected: -- Description: Pulling the golden moonstone charm before gripping and pulling the hairbow out of her hair will cause the bow itself to be shrouded in a wispy shadow for a moment before it begins to extend, when it fades what lays in its wake is an ornate 8" double-sided serrated, yet lightweight dagger which is perfectly balanced for the user. Around the blade itself are wisps of shadow but after a brief few seconds it seems to transform leaving lilac wisps of wind. The blade is classed as a physical weapon and will do Junior rank damage as such. It has the added benefit of warming or cooling the area with the light breeze although it will smell of lilac.
Rank & Element: Intermediate ¦ Gemstone Class & Type: Magic ¦ Trinket (Charm) Magic Specializations: Golem Creation Appearance: This is a delicate silver charm slightly bigger than a thumbnail with an obsidian inlay to make it seem like a spider's web.
History: To get into the festive spirit the shopkeeper had these charms made as a sweet treat with a trick hidden inside. She has people sign a liability waiver and hopes no one they know has arachnophobia.
Name of the Ability: Black Widow Type & Uses: Flow ¦ 4 Rounds ¦ 3 Cooldown Rank & Specialization: Intermediate ¦ Golem Creation Mana Cost: 15 ¦ 8 Range & Speed: 40m ¦ 20 m/s Stats Affected: N/A Description:
The owner of the charm runs their thumb over the webbed charm whispering the words "silent death" to activate this ability. Behind them will stand a six-meter-tall spider made of obsidian and onyx with eight eyes made with citrine. Those who get somewhat close will believe that it has hairs on parts of its body but only when getting closer will they notice that it is very fine shards of smoked quartz. This spider is a predator and has several ways of attacking, these being its legs, pedipalp, fangs or biting, strangely enough, these golems even have a unique quirk that they can create a web of a random coloured gemstone (once chosen this will not change). It doesn't matter how many times or different ways it hits a single target in a round it will only deal intermediate damage. The maximum number of these golems that can be created at a time is four with the use of the ammo rules. This golem is large enough that it can be used as a mode of transportation which can carry up to two passengers per golem but its speed will drop to 10m/s while doing so. Due to the animal, the golem is fashioned after it can climb up walls and scurry over ceilings even while being used as a mode of transportation. This golem can be upgraded if a person has the correct element.
Unbeknownst to Lucien that he had drawn the attention of at least two individuals in addition to the enraged nobleman. Not that pickpocket was anything new aside from something exciting to spice up their daily lives. Lucien had a feeling that the nobleman probably could overwhelm him through sheer raw power alone, but it was clear the man was so dense that even an alleyway proved to be an obstacle. Or perhaps the booze had induced a case of delirium that caused the man to barely run in a straight line.
“Of course I had to pick the dumb one. Guess I can just pluck his grimoire too, since he surely wouldn’t need it with all of that-” Lucien paused nonchalantly as he didn’t seem to be in a hurry despite his alleged attempt to escape. The delirious nobleman proved that Lucien wouldn’t have any trouble at all in getting away, but the point of it all was to render the man helpless before essentially blackmail for money. A quick-Yul gambit as one would call it, but he paused mid-stride as Lucien noted that it was simply taking too long for the man to appear.
What was taking him so long? Lucien wondered. Then he heard the cry of pain that reverberated along the walls, and a second voice that carried along the sinister wind. The hairs along his neck stood up on end. Half of him wanted to follow his instincts and simply cut his losses. Best to live another day and all that. Yet the other half of him wanted to see if he could still pull it off somehow. Nothing was ever easy, such was life, yet the ash blonde hair male wasn’t above taking advantage of the wealthy. Or an alleged one at that. A sigh rolled off his lips as he turned on his heel and walked up to the corner. As the sounds had grown louder, Lucien peeked around the corner as one hazel eye peered over to a duet in the alleyway. One was a figure that squirmed weakly on the ground with a young lady that stood over him.
Lucien softly groaned as the man being unconscious wasn’t going to do him any good, yet neither was having a witness either. He slicked back where he had come from with a turn of his heel when he caught wind that sent a chill down his spine.
"Now where did that male go?" Surely she couldn’t mean him right? He couldn’t risk that chance as his boots hammered on the stone as he began to run down the alleyway a short distance. A buildup of momentum was all he needed before he leapt onto a nearby wall and scaled up just below the roof. Fortunately Lucien grabbed a hold of the edge and hoisted himself up onto the roof.
Lucien didn’t know if he was actually being followed or not, but he knew getting caught now would be absurd. As it would ruin chances of getting future work, and he couldn’t risk slinging out spells much like the nobleman had tried to do or else anyone with a good enough sense of mana could find him. Or at least that was his line of thinking as he hoped the height advantage and full coverage from being spotted below would deter her.
That was until he heard the familiar sound of something small and metal struck the roof tiles. It made Lucien frowned as he peered over to the source and it dawned on him that it was the brass ring had plucked prior. And it was rolling off the tile. Lucien didn’t have time to think as he immediately lashed out to grab the signet ring just as it had rolled off from the roof. His breathing hitched as Lucien was fairly certain that it was a bust and a half on his part. Even his widened eyes shifted to the alleyway beneath him in case anyone he could see was visible. “Dammit.” He muttered under his breath as he silently cursed himself for his carelessness.

Ryoshi watched the two with interest as the pink haired girl suddenly revealed just how wicked she as as she manifested a dagger and would knife the man who was stolen from and he could tell from where she stabbed him that it was not going to be a fun death due to either the slow pain of bleeding out or from infection and he smirked, 'well well the kitty has some claws so she isnt just a normal girl' he thought before he saw her taunting and prodding the mans wound with her umbrella and he wanted to shake his head in amusement since sure enjoying the suffering of others was something he himself enjoyed but there was a difference between enjoying it and being sloppy and right now she was being the latter of the two. He then turned his attention the the pickpocket in question and he seemed shaken by what he was hearing and was torn between wanting to see what was going on or booking it.
As the girl wondered aloud where the pickpocket had gone Ryoshi smirked as he saw the male suddenly scramble up onto the roofs and he didnt know if it was due to being in a panic or what but seemed to miss him as he dashed to put some distance from the girl. The rogue didnt miss the glint of a ring as it feel from his person and he caught it before he smirked and looked at the ring not showing anything on his face but internally he sighed as it was bronze and wouldn't fetch even enough for a snack let alone lunch.”It looks like you ran afoul with something wicked on the ground” he said finally letting the boy know his presence as he stood still looking at the ring but infact he was still surveying his surroundings with subtle glances.

[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] [break][break] Saeka watched the man as she smiled seeing him lay there in the shadow covered alley among the flifthy trash piles. She giggled lightly twirling the parasol on her left shoulder as she walked out of the alley reaching into the light pink satchel pulling out a rolled up scroll as she looked over the details while spraying herself with some perfume she kept on her person. "That contract is done." She spoke to herself seeming to forget her train of thought as she was going to give the pick pocket some compliment maybe some yul for the assistance. [break][break] "Oh?" She spoke looking up at the sky towards the two figures with a blank expression as if calculating her thoughts before her face brightened in glee at a sudden thought " Oh! I get to treat myself! Oh Goodie! Now cake or tea? Or should I have pie before I must meet back up with father?" She spoke in delight. In truth, she knew from what she was hearing of movements on the rooftop near her there were two figures, two witnesses. That meant two more bodies to add to her room, her paradise. [break][break] She bounced on her feet as she walked away slowly. For now it wasn't her concern, there was nothing to link her to the dead body within the mess of that alley, She had not a hair out of place. She smelled beautiful, such a noble like herself could never harm a fly. She was untouched and not bothered by the sight a few moments ago. It was almost as if this was an every day thing. There was a reason for this town, it was a rogue's paradise. Magic knights were here somewhat but barely every stationed. This was one of the many towns where the underbelly flourished. This was simply a easy hunting place for one socialite of the psychopath. [break][break] "Lets go to a café."She said to herself out loud, ensuring the two on the roof could hear her. Take the bait little mice. She thought looking over her shoulder and around before continuing to a café near by
Rank & Element: Junior ¦ Air Pressure ¦ Mist Class & Type: Relic ¦ Accessory (Necklace) Magic Specializations: Sensory ¦ Healing ¦ Physical Reinforcement Appearance: Adunel Lerovup is a simple yet elegant necklace that sits on a delicate silver chain.

Of course, who would’ve thought to look up in the roofs for anyone else who might have been lurking? Certainly not Lucien until he was already up on the roof. Heck he didn’t even notice that there was someone up there with him until he saw a hand pluck the ring from the air. Leaving Lucien merely empty handed as he grasped the air before the teenager instinctively retracted his hand. If there was one thing that Lucien didn’t like was when someone snuck up on him, or rather when he’s already on edge. It was an unspoken rule so to speak that Lucien shouldn’t trust anyone in this place. And it was his instincts that have kept him alive at this point.
The biggest crime he’s ever done was to steal from a noble, but Lucien was aware that there were people who would commit more gruesome crimes for as little as entertainment. His hazel eyes narrowed as he immediately rolled away from the source and tumbled onto his feet with a pivot to face the stranger. His right hand rested upon the roof below him as the teenager was poised to leap if needed based on his crouched position. It wasn’t anything personal, Lucien thought. Lucien’s left hand rested upon his leather case attached to his belt with the buckle lifted, yet the grimoire wasn’t drawn. Lucien assessed the situation before he rested his cautious duets upon the mysterious stranger that had the ring.
“Not really, just some poor guy tripping over his own feet.” Lucien replied. There were too many unknowns at play, and what was worse was that Lucien felt like even at their distance he wouldn’t be able to get away even if he wanted to. Unless the white haired man in front of him had a generous night. So Lucien decided to play a different card so to speak. The young man stood up to his feet as he let the buckle clasp back into place before Lucien brushed himself off as he mentally coped with the built up anxiety in his chest. It certainly didn’t do wonders for the heart.
“Sorry for interrupting your night. Ah, I’d toss that ring away. It’s not worth much now that someone decided to sleep in filth.” For the true prize was to blackmail the man for more Yul, but so much for that plan. Too many incidents have occurred, too many unknowns surfaced, and one too many fails had quite literally bust the small gambit altogether. Lucien had gestured with his right thumb down in the alleyway where the drunken fool continued to lay. To the teenager’s assumption, the man had knocked himself unconscious over the trash.
“Excuse me,” Lucien slightly bowed as farewell before he backpedaled. Mostly going off by memory until he felt the ledge of the roof. His eyes naturally didn’t leave the figure in front of him until Lucien dropped to street level with a solid hammer of his boots. That was assuming that Ryoshi would let him leave like that as well, but Lucien could only hope. “I think that’s enough excitement for one night…” Lucien muttered with a sigh before he turned on his heel. However a thought occurred to him as well that caused the teenager to temporarily pause.
‘No, if I head straight where I sleep then it’ll just paint a big danger zone in what was supposed to be safe for the most part. I’d best just let the night simmer down for a bit first.’ Lucien thought to himself. That was until he heard the sweet voice speak out loud about a cafe. It most certainly would be bait if he ever heard of one, but considering all that had happened. He certainly needed to find somewhere to lay low for a while. That was until he recognized the woman that was with the nobleman just moments ago stomped her heels towards Lucien and jabbed her red nail into his chest.
“Alright listen here, you little upstart! You just swindled me out of my free warm bed and food for the night so you better pay up!” Lucien blinked before he promptly smacked her hand away from him. Something about being touched was a no for him, and the lady looked absolutely offended by it as she took a step back with her jaw dropped.
“I don’t owe you a thing lady. Better luck next time is all I can tell you.” Lucien said coldly. Seriously, could this night be anymore chaotic? Unbeknownst to both of them, Lucien had technically saved the woman from being murdered as well. There was a certain smell in the air that carried the scent of lavender emanating from the lady. Lucien felt something buzzing inside of his mind, not physically, but mentally it felt like his thoughts were getting jumbled together. Her tone dropped to being honey sweet as she extended a hand to attempt to cup Lucien’s chin.
“Oh don’t be like that, I’m sure a gentleman such as yourself wouldn’t let a woman such as myself sleep in these cold and dirty streets would you?” It was definitely magic at play, but Lucien didn’t see a grimoire being used. Which meant this lady had a magic item at her disposal. It was likely what managed to snare herself that nobleman paired with alcohol to scramble the senses.
Her hand only grasped air however as Lucien took a couple of steps away from her. “Not my problem, you’d just have to find someone else to leech from.”

Ryoshi saw the mans reaction to him as he seemed to instantly go on alert his body language showing he was ready to bolt if needed and despite that the white hared man maintained a relaxed stance as he looked at the ring trying to find anything that could make it worth selling and so far he was finding nothing of value,”you seemed rather nimble as you led that man down the alleyway then again everyone gets clumsy when they are spooked” he observed his blue eyes looking at Lucian now as he heard his comment about tossing the ring away since it wasnt worth much, at that Ryoshi pushed some aura into his fingers before in a fraction of a second crushed the ring and dropped it.” a valid point and a tip for you as well if your going to swipe something at least settle for silver swiping anything bronze is gonna get you next to nothing” he said before he saw the man jump off the roof and the rogue mearly shrugged since he didnt need to follow to keep an eye on him due to his postion up high.
He heard the young woman from before mention getting something to snack on and the aura user smirked before the scent of lavender tickled his nose but not in a pleasant way, he saw the pickpocket having a talk with the woman who had been with the pathetic noble before and he crinkled his nose in irritation.”ugh be light with the perfume dont bathe in it” he whispered since his nose was far more sensitive then a normal persons he found such an overpowering scent disgusting not that he hated the smell of lavender but in such overpowering amounts it was not good. Grabbing a broken piece of tile that was on the roof he quickly charged some aura into it before with one flick of his wrist he would send it hurtling towards the back of the womans head,Ryoshi then moved so that way once she glanced around he wouldnt be anywhere nearby as he headed in the direction that the pink haired murderess had been in and as he reached the edge of the roof away from the pickpocket and women he lightly hopped of the roof while forming aura claws on his fingertips to slow his descent.
As he reached the ground he flicked his wrist to dispel the claws before he headed into a small cafe where the pink haired girl had gone and he approached the counter.”cup of coffee and three black sesame cookies” he said as he passed the women a bit of yul to pay for his order as he moved over to wait for his drink and snacks, his eyes were subtle so he didnt draw suspicion as they glanced across the room for who was in there in case he had to deal with trouble.
[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] [break][break] Saeka Continued her walk moving around a corner seeing the pickpocket and her once targets possible interest talking. She kept a skip in her step as she moved past them looking at the lady "Oh miss, you really should fix your makeup. It is all caked on and oh you pickpocket, come find me at the cafe I got a present for ya!" She spoke sweetly in glee to them both deciding to dig into the woman as she continued her move to the cafe of her choice.
[break][break] The cafes here were not all clean and shiny like the ones in the capital that could be considered adorable. But you make do with what you have. She moved in ordering a cup of tea along with a cookie. She took her time waiting as she accepted the items walking to an empty table in a corner near a window as she sat down. She looked towards her scathel, seemingly looking for something as while her face was tilted down, her eyes were scanning the cafe from behind her bangs. she gave the bait, it was time to see if anyone took it. she has been very bored lately while waiting for contracts or things to do inbetween her social life as a socialite. In truth, she disliked this mask she had to wear, however, society wouldn't accept her otherwise. She was a monster in many ways just most to all those ways were hidden behind the facade she played up of a ditzy pink haired noble girl [break][break] She pulled out a black book as she moved her satchel to the other side of her body. She readjusted herself as she opened the book. Now was the waiting game. [break][break]

The poor woman was being stabbed from all directions it seemed. First the pickpocket rejected her as the first pierce to her pride. As if that wasn't bad enough something had struck her on the back of her head which caused the woman to stumble forward a bit. She grit her teeth with a growl as the woman immediately turned to face the unknown behind her. Her eyes frantically scanning around to no avail. “Who threw that?! I swear when I get my hands on you, I'm gonna-”
She was briefly interrupted again when a certain pink haired young lady with a parasol stepped close to them. Who made a remark about the lady's heavy amounts of makeup, which was another stab in the woman's pride. Lucien blinked when the strange noble addressed him as a pickpocket before he feigned ignorance. A small smile pressed on his lips as his right hand had reached up to rub the back of his neck.
“I don’t know who this pickpocket is, but-” Lucien started to say until he felt his heart skip a beat. A dawn of realization that he had no intention of doing in the first place. In his left hand, hidden from view, yet he distinctively felt something of a collection of beads. A bracelet from the feel of it, yet Lucien had no recollection as to how it ended up in his hand. Then it dawned on him, the woman in front of the pair had a bracelet of pearls on her wrist which Lucien had previously smacked away. Fortunately, the same lady didn't seem to notice just yet as she was still suffering from a deflated ego.
“You know what, a Cafe sounds good right now.” Lucien said with a sudden change of heart. With a turn on his heel, Lucien left the lady as he practically followed the pink haired noble to the Cafe. Not because she had basically invited him or anything, but it was to cover himself so to speak as he stashed the bracelet in his pocket.
When he got to the Cafe in question, there were a number of familiar faces already present. At least two of them were recent acquaintances, but Lucien ignored the gnawing anxiety that was building up within him and spoke to the barista behind the counter. “I'll have the usual.” The usual was just tea with a slice of lemon frosted pound cake. When Lucien turned his hazel eyes upon Ryoshi, a figure that the younger man had just encountered, a nervous sweat rolled down his cheek as he paused midstride.
Lucien wanted to say something, anything, to break the awkward silence from the mouse of a man. Yet there weren't any words willing to leave his mind so Lucien quickly darted his eyes to the side. He could feel his own heart hammering against his chest as he tried to act like they never met. Don't make eye contact and just maybe he won't kill me, Lucien mentally pleaded. This should have been a red flag for the young man, but maybe it was just coincidence? There couldn't be any malicious intention behind it, right? It wasn’t like Lucien was anyone special either to warrant someone to come after him, but there was that one time when he stole someone's supposedly family heirloom. But who knew it was just some old junk that only had sentimental value?
Then his eyes shifted to the side where the pink haired lady sat down with a book pulled out of her bag. Lucien wondered what the surprise was, yet it just might be his paranoia showing as Lucien could only picture things like being stabbed to death or poisoned. As much as Lucien hoped that the safety of publicity would grant him a net to prevent such things, the teen knew there were ways to get around it. Least to say it was not helping his anxiety at all as he started to feel knots forming in his stomach. Lucien was never good with people especially in a public setting such as this. What was he supposed to say in a situation like this?!
“So uh… the surprise isn't one of those where you lure people in with a false sense of security before you rob everything they own, is it?” Lucien blatantly asked the pink haired girl. Internally, Lucien was screaming at himself for asking such an absurd question. Whether it was paranoia, his anxiety, or both Lucien wasn’t sure what to expect out of tonight anymore.

Ryoshi obtained his order and took a seat in the opposite corner that Saeka was located at and as he took a sip of his coffee he pulled out a small book from his coat and flipped to a place he has saved as he took a few bites of the cookies he had ordered his sensitive nose making sure that no one had done anything foul to either his snack or drink , the nutty yet sweet flavor was something he enjoyed as he heard the door open and another person had arrived inside the cafe. To no surprise it was the pickpocket from earlier and though the aura user didnt move his book at all his gaze subtly went to him from behind the binding of his book.'hmm it seems he decided to fallow the pink haired girls suggestion after all this could be entertaining and if not then no doubt that shrill harpy is still skulking around outside' he thought knowing that if push came to shove no one would care of that gold digging woman vanished since he had heard they were quite common especially near nobility.
It seemed that Lucian had already noticed his presence and Ryoshi resisted the urge to smirk behind the binding of his book at the clear unease the man had, it seems he was starting to understand his situation since he had obviously heard Saeka kill the dumb noble from before and his own presence unnerved him due to the fact he had clearly been under the mans radar until he actually announced his presence. He took another sip of coffee while he heard the pickpocket ask if the surprise saeka had been talking about was being robbed of everything he owned after being lured away and at that Ryoshi suppressed a snort of amusement as he kept listening in as he took a bite of his second cookie and flipped the page of his book.'I always heard the phrase there is a sucker born every minute but this guy seems like the true definition of that phrase' he thought to himself as right now the blond was dancing a fine line and one wrong move likely might result in him disappearing. For now the aura user would keep his silence and just listen in until he felt it was the right time to speak or move.
[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] [break][break] Saeka kept her eyes trained on the book as she kicked her feet humming happily to herself while her other hand handle a cookie just barely past her lips as she nibbled on it. She seemed a bit too happy and carefree and anyone who didn't know would be right. in truth she had track of her Peripheral vision and all movements around her. She made mental note of each and every person, noting their steps, their voices, their words. It was all for a plan of a predator like her.
[break][break] It was then she heard the familiar pickpocket finally decide to follow her up on her offer for some cake. She turned a page listening to the start of his conversation. "Now talking business is rude in the presence of a hostess like myself that only wished to treat you for your effort. Father certainly would not know our reputation within the upper circles of noble society ruined. If anything, you did the woman a favor of keeping her life to live another day, that man would have killed her tonight as he did many others." She spoke removing her cookie, her eyes not removing themselves from her book. She reached into the satchel beside her feet as she pulled out a few yul handing it to him "Take this, it will be enough for a few things of bread or a room for the night, what you do with it, matters not to me."She spoke before adjusting a folded up piece of paper into the book shutting it as if to mark it as she sat it down on the open window pane next to her.
[break][break] She smiled sweetly lacing her fingers together as she rested her chin on top of them " So Tell me about yourself little kleptomaniac." She asked allowing her sickly sweet excitement to lace her voice as there was no acknowledgement of a murder but an bubbly 15 year old noble girl. her soft pastle pink eyes were warm as she watched him with an equally warm smile on her face [break][break]

Ryoshi saw that the pickpocket seemed to have escaped the cafe and he held back the urge to smirk as he shut his book and took a drink of coffee as he had a feeling the little pink haired kitten would be less then pleased but he decided to engage her in a bit of conversation and perhaps he could get into her head a bit if not create some strings he could play with later, he finished off his last cookie and he took his cup of coffee as he got a refill and approached.”seems your friend decided to pull a dissappering act. He seemed a bit jumpy” he said as he sat down opposite of her and took another drink of coffee his demenour and body language showing he was calm and relaxed, while he seemed that way he was subtly observing her watching her body language and her reactions to see how to respond to her next since he knew that if he was heavy handed it would only come back to bite him later.
"so miss what brings you here to this neck of the woods” he asked as he took another sip of coffee, he went over what he knew about her, he had encountered her once before and tormented her without her knowledge and now he knew that she was hardly an innocent little girl nor was she afraid of getting her hands dirty but given what he had been hearing as she had killed in the allyway as well as her trip here he knew she likely knew how to hide behind a mask.Ryoshi wondered just how fast he could get under that mask or if he could manage to slip a collar around the monster underneath since she seemed a bit bloodthirsty so perhaps he could subtly push her mentally into what he wanted to do perhaps employ some pavlovian tricks to get her to listen after all it was always fun to toy with the minds of those beneath him
[attr="class","withoutyouscroll"] [break][break] Saeka watched as it seems the pickpocket she was going to thank decided his nerves were going to get the best of him as he left. She sighed shaking her head as she sat back holding her arms. What a shame. She was going to give him a hansome reward to. She looked out the window seeing her book missing as she smirked only to turn her attention towards a new male coming to make some small talk as she reached into the satchel next to her person pulling out another black covered book as she pulled out a writing utensil. [break][break] She focused on the book listening to his words as she wrote in it. She needed to make some notes for a reminder to herself to find that pickpocket again. after a few seconds she shut her book before looking towards the figure in a look of confusion " Hm? I am sorry who are you?" she asked in seeming bewilderment. in truth, she knew he was there, she listened to his words but they just sounded like someone looking for some sort of conversation that could lead to more time together. Strangers just don't swap tables for small talk. No, normally if A male did such things and immediately want to know something, it meant they wanted something. " Such a shame that pickpocket left, I would have loved to get to know him more." She spoke out loud allowing her thoughts to seem elsewhere, ignoring his existence seemingly completely. [break][break] She then snapped her thoughts back into place looking towards the figure " Oh my gosh! I am so sorry for my rudeness mister! What was the question again?"she asked wrapping her arms around her book pulling it against her chest as she pulled herself as far back in her chair as possible giving a feeling of shyness and embrassement. After hearing his response as smiled brushing some hair behind her ear " Well I am waiting on my father to get here. I been traveling and we were suppose to meet here once he was done selling his wares."She said making up some story. She was interested to see if she could dig some into this man. he wasn't too bad looking, not her type from appearances but then again it could be assumed by those who knew her that she preferred the company of the dead bodies she had befriended for ages over the living.
