Ophi stands at five feet, seven inches tall and lets her hair grow to her mid thighs. Her skin is a pale color, with her eyes an amber brown, and her hair a light red color. Occasionally, when she’s feeling up for it, she’ll also dye her hair, usually a shade of blue. Her hair is usually worn with a couple braids in the front that are tied back over the top of her hair and in the back of her head. She usually wears dresses whenever she goes out. She doesn’t have a preference of colors, but ends up often wearing white. When she wears a skirt, she tends to wear spanx shorts underneath. Her shirts tend to be short sleeved or tank tops, and her shoes are heeled boots that come to her mid thighs, usually with stockings peeking out above them.


Ophi is an eloquent person due to her upbringing. She is able to string her words together in a way that sounds like she can be leagues above others, and that is her preference to most others. The eloquence that she learned also earned her seeming like she’s a rather formal person and like she should do things in accordance with the etiquette of her upbringing. With her formal eloquence, she also is rather stoic and would rather not have everyone know whenever she is feeling hurt or in any sort of pain or if she’s upset about something going on around her. It’s not their business to know how she’s feeling, nor do they need to make her feel like she’s weak for showing those emotions. With how she grew up in her home, she would rather not be a competitive person and will bow out of anything that seems like it’s a competition, or just do it at her own pace without bothering with the other person who seems to want to compare them for some sort of competition. She believes she’s no better than anyone else. Along with being noncompetitive, she’s asocial and would rather keep to her own bubble. Others don’t need to be close to her and to bother her with trivial things like maintaining a friendship constantly. Her belief is that others will hurt her in the end, regardless. As a person who would avoid people, she herself enjoys her alone time and being able to learn things. If she could attend school indefinitely, she would. She believes that knowledge can have just as much power as a fist or magic may have.


In the Amriu house, it is not uncommon for the head to have multiple partners, giving them more chances to have others compete for the position of head of the house for the credibility and succession of the house to continue on as the family strives for perfection and showing that they have strength as a family. Having multiple children also made for backup figures in the case that if someone should have an accident occur before they’re the head, or as they are. In the Amriu family, anyone is able to be the head, regardless of gender, and the true competition for it doesn’t start till all the children reach the age of twenty.

The current head, and Ophiuchus’ father, Renard Amriu had taken four women to be his partners, and bore a total of five children, with Ophiuchus being the second youngest. Each wife with children had their own wing of the manor that the family lived in. Renard’s first wife, Aline, had only a son, the same as his second wife, Penelope. Ophiuchus’ mother, Leonora, was the third wife, but she only had Ophiuchus after the fourth wife, Winifred, had her first daughter, with the second daughter being born a little more than a year after her.

Renard didn’t pay much attention to the children he helped bear and only requested that the mothers raise his children to be smart and capable of being able to take over the head of their family with a basic guideline of the curriculum. Due to that, the women, as did most of the partners who raised the children in the family, pushed their children to strive for the head of the house position. When she grew a bit older, Ophiuchus felt herself disliking the idea of the position for herself with her mothers constant nagging and stressing for her to do better and be perfect without showing emotions or weakness, even to her siblings.

One of the most known secrets of the house was that the parents would do anything to “motivate” their children behind closed doors with the staff's motto being; if you see it, no you don’t. Ophiuchus’ mother was no different. Ophiuchus was great at learning the materials, but as she started voicing her dislike of the position, places under her clothes where no one could physically see started forming. Her saving grace in that regard is that her mother would go no further than bruises in an attempt to make her stop the fantasies of not being a head of the family. The bruises didn’t deter Ophiuchus from continuing to voice her opinion on the matter, especially to her father. He would simply ignore her though, as she was a child.

In time, Ophiuchus’ mother simply used her beatings as a way to strengthen her daughter to keep silent rather than show her ‘weakness’ that she was hurt. And this continued on till she was eighteen when she approached her father and pleaded her own case that she was not suited to be the head of the house and would bring the house to the ground if she had to continue the tradition. Having to plead that she would be better outside of the family to help it instead without dealing with other people. It took her nearly a year, but she eventually got her wish and convinced her father to let her leave the premises and not be in the competition for the head of the house. Her siblings would do better without her anyway since they wanted the position way more than her. Her father was gracious enough to let her leave with a small allowance every month, as she was still someone of the family, but she also took anything of value in her wing of the house, using that along with the allowance and small jobs she took here and there to make a living for herself outside the home.




MAGIC DESCRIPTION: Ophiuchus uses her magic to mostly mend wounds, both within and out of battle. If she was to be in battle, she'd prefer to not be the one fighting and only heal herself or those she happens to be helping out, but she has a few tricks up her sleeve to help protect herself in cases where she is unable to be non confrontational. The blood she creates is able to be wielded in any form she deems fit for the scenario. She can make it into things such as whips, a hardened shape, or seem like a sludge-like thing, almost like a large blood clot sludge, to hex her enemy to weaken them in a way if they make contact with her blood. When it comes to healing herself and others she is with, most of the time she prefers to be in physical contact with them to mend them, otherwise she can create something like a splat of blood to be put on the wound and cover it while it heals.
