Saeka smiled as she skipped through the spirit festival crowds. She hummed a tune to herself as she decided to trick or treat for the first place of the night. micheivous spirits were all about right? Maybe she might be able to see one of her past victims again. Maybe find a new victim? Oh the options were endless.
She picked up a trick or treat basket as she moved among the childern racing the streets of the fair grounds as she headed to her first house. she moved after a group of childern to meet an older woman holding a bucket and a cane.
"Oh my look at you, arnt you adoriable."Spoke the woman "Yes thankyou. can you guess what I am?"asked saeka seeing the question towards her "A bat?"asked the woman as saeka smiled twirling around " No I am suppose to be a dragon. My mother and father made the wings and tail for me." She said with a smile "Oh my a dragon! Guess I gotta add to your hoard of treasure then huh?'asked the woman playing along "Yep only the tastiest of candies is to be given to my hoard. "She said proudly. God how she hated this. She hated having to act but she enjoyed it at the same time.
Akihiko continued down the streets looking for his sister, they hadn't agreed to meet up, in fact, he was quite sure it would catch her off guard to see him taking part in the festivities given how he usually was. Knowing his luck she would have met up with one of the family clients who were trying to skip the line for their consultation, he knew his sister could nip this in the bud ordinarily but it was a little more difficult to do when in a public setting like this but he was sure she would manage it if that was indeed the case. The other scenario was that she could have met up with Enlil allowing them to enjoy the festival that much more. The attraction between the pair was plain to see at least for him, then again he was quite sure his mother saw the signs like he had even if the rest of the world didn't.
Caught in his own thoughts he ended up zig-zagging around the streets often narrowing missing children who came out of nowhere due to being hopped up on sugar and who knew what else. Once he paused and looked around he noticed that he was on the edge of the festival grounds and there were houses. He had no idea if this was normal but he wasn't about to question it. "My siblings would enjoy the sweets I suppose." he said thoughtfully, he wasn't one for Western sweets but his younger brothers and sisters seemed to enjoy them when they were allowed to have them. Many of the houses had several people at them and he honestly wanted to avoid being around that many people, he did, however, notice that the first house only had a single person so made his way there.
Getting to the door just as the woman called the one trick or treating adorable. "U... um..." it was clear he was nervous or at least that's how he made it seem "Tr... trick or tr... treat" he whispered his eyes not making eye contact as if he was frightened over this whole concept. "Don't you look sweet." she said with a warm tone "Is this your first time?" she continued making him nod quickly, it was clear he was shy. "Let me guess, your a ghost of someone long dead" she said looking him over "K.. kind of... I... I was going for a spectral servant to the goddess on the moon." he explained looking down as if he was unsure if it got it right "Oh, so that must mean you are looking for offerings for your goddess?" she asked making him nod sheepishly.
"Well then servant of the moon let me give my offering to the one that guides souls that are lost." she said moving her hand into the bowl she was holding, he watched what the other had done as if looking for cues as what was acceptable given the situation before he too held out his bag allowing her to drop the candy into it "The goddess will be thankful for your offering." he said playing along "I'm glad I could help. You youngsters be safe out there tonight who knows what monsters lurk in the darkness." she said before moving back into her home leaving the pair alone with each other. "Than... thank you..." he said bowing just a little before walking down the path looking around as if determining where to go next.

Saeka smiled as she turned away rolling her shoulder a bit adjusting the wings attached to some small slits of her blouse to an undershirt. The damn things were annoying to deal with but she had to blend in. She couldn’t imagine actually having wings. How annoying would having a pair be? Having to lay a certain way. Plucking things that manage to get within the wings grasp. Would she have to wear bare back tops? What would her family think if she had wings. Would her mana beast of an angry swan actually like her? Her pink owlet treated her like its mother, always in her arms, eating when she does, sleeping with her when she does.
She then stopped and thought about how amazing it would be to terrorize some unexpected citizen. Certainly can make kidnapping a contract if needed much much easier. She then thought of the downside of the fact no one ordinary had anything odd like that. Well other then the head of the ravencrest. She been told he had literal long horns. Made her curious to see for herself but she knew the man had a good memory from what reports say. It was risky. Very risky. She wasn’t going to deal with this risk. Not with her life so unbalanced.
She was lost in her whirlwind of thoughts looking up at the sky as she adjusted her wings her bag hanging on her arm getting in the way as not only it but her tail was in the way of a certain ethereal ghost like male. On an ordinary day she would be quick to catch herself or just reflexively move out of the way. However, maybe her current lifestyle was dulling her senses, her instinct, maybe it was just her phasing out that life. She was a monster, she knew that. Yet here she was playing house, wearing these dresses, following rules of others that is not her own family’s rules. Why was a monster like her living like this? She took a step forward not noticing her tail under his foot.
She stumbled, falling on her knees scraping her sheer black panty hose feeling her skin of her legs and hands get scrapped as the rest of her went down as she slowly sat back up slowly rubbing her hands clean checking herself. What the hell, while confused but calmly piecing the pieces together on the outside. She was panicking on the inside. What was wrong with her? She really wanted to know. No assassin would ever allow something like this to happen. She winced not sure how she should feel at the moment. She picked a rock from her skin seeing a small amount of blood come from the scraps “that is going to burn in the morning.” She muttered shaking her hands calming herself down at the embarrassing site and pain in her palms and knees. Nothing she couldn’t handle. It was nothing compared to what she learned growing up.

Akihiko was known for being shy and clumsy to those who had met him but this was nothing more than a role he flawlessly played so that he might have some peace from his other profession. When he turned to leave he had stood on the other person's costume's tail on purpose and yet it would have seemed quite accidental. He, of course, would never hope to hurt anyone on purpose but sometimes it would happen but he made sure to mitigate it as much as possible. There were often times, such as now that this aligned with the fact he didn't like what a person was wearing as he believed it didn't suit them. He had slowly walked off but stopped hearing the thud and the words of the other. His eyes went wide as if he had been startled by a sudden bright light as he slowly turned to see the woman on the floor.
"I... I... I..." he stuttered moving over to her and quickly helping her up off the ground almost tripping over his own feet or so it seemed "I... I didn't notice your tail, I... I'm so sorry..." he said his voice deeply apologetic as he helped her up. Seeing the scrape he winced. He silently started to sing something, the bleeding would stop and the graze would start to heal, eventually his move stopped moving before he chewed on his bottom lip. "U... Um..." he looked over her costume as if inspecting it "Y... your costume will continue to cause issues for you." he commented shuffling a little as he looked at his feet. "I... I come from a family of tailors and seamstresses and though I... I hold no real talent compared to my siblings I c... could make it easier." he said his voice showing just how awkward he was meant to feel over the entire situation. He moved into his costume and brought out his travel kit before moving behind her before she could even speak a word. "The wings..." he said shaking his head a little as he removed them from where they were sitting.
He unpicked each feather quickly even a first-time apprentice would be able to do this quickly and with relative ease. Sitting he used chalk to make lines before slowly and carefully shortening the wings to be more petite and sewing them in such a way the stitches wouldn't be able to be seen. The next thing he did was put the feathers on them fully to see if it would be better with or without them, he decided it would be better without them since she said she was a dragon, instead, he used his chalk to make small 'u's on them before changing his thread the shimmering material starting to look as if it had scales. The thread he had used was enchanted with a faint pure aura of the same colour as the base fabric and fire magic so it almost seemed as if they were glowing under the right light.
He knew the fire would make it seem as if she truly was a dragon, it also meant she would keep warm during the chilly autumn evening. He stood and carefully sewed the wings onto her dress in such a way that her movements would make it seem as if her wings were flapping a little. The next thing he wanted to deal with was the clunky tail. This would be a bit easier as he unpicked it and pinned it to where he wanted it before he cut the excess fabric away again, adding a small amount of the former larger wing metal and sewed the tail to be slender, he kept the original length but he manipulated the metal he placed within it in such a way there was a heart in the centre that would remain. Using some of the fabric and metal be managed to create horns and manipulate them into her hair without affecting it too much.
He hated wasting fabric and so decided to use it to make a small pouch with the last of the fabric moving back to the tail once again moving it around so it looked as if the tail was acting like a third had by holding the small pouch. It was far from his best work but he doubted that any sobby or entitled noble would give her any grief over it. In total, it may have taken him around thirty or so minutes to get the alterations done. "I... I hope th... this make... makes up for it." he said standing and dusting himself off sheepishly. He knew he should have waited for her to be okay with everything but this was how his clutz side would have solved such a situation.

Pain was nothing to the little assassin. She learned her entire life about pain, of making others suffer, by dealing with pain. She knew many techquines to causing the most pain with very little traces and alot of techniques that can be flashy and showing the most pain. She was an assassin after all. Or so that is what she was. now and days she wondered if that really was true and not some dream she made up to deal with her troubles.
She landed on her knees feeling the scrap. drawing some blood as she winced, cause even though she understood pain, that didn't make it hurt less. She took a few deep breaths ignoring the world around as she felt a pair of hands and a startled male studdering as he apologized. "It is fine...It happens."She said dusting off her hands as she felt him began to sing, healing her wounds that he caused. It was then that she was told her costume would continue to cause issues. Issues? What issues? Only her wings were what bugged her, Yet here was some stranger telling her how her costume was going to cause issues. How dare he assume it was her costume that was the issue when he was the one who caused her to fall. She listened to him explain how he was from a family of tailors and seamstresses and could adjust her costume. Before she could get a single word in he moved behind her before taking a gentle hold of her wings as she moved her arms allowing them free as she crossed her hands infront of her looking at him over her shoulder.
She watched him skillfully dismantle her wings, puckling each feather. She watched him mark the base of the wings to make lines and adapt her wings to a smaller size then seemed to put them to her back to see if she look good with or without the wings only to watch him transform her wings into dragon wings instead before tending to her tail. She watched as he changes its shape, even giving it a pouch to hold within it's grasp.
" I uh...."She said before clearing her throat "thankyou for that I guess it will do with making it up to me."She said
Akihiko disliked hurting people for the most part, of course, there were people he did believe deserved it such as the rude customers who made a fuss over issues of their own making thus making things harder for his family or those who worked for them. It is why they often ended up with food or tea over them and it was just dismissed as him being the clumsy fool he always had been but it got them to behave after. He did on occasion get into trouble for his antics but he just put it down to him keeping his two lives separate and it was usually left at that unless it was too far over the line but he was pretty good at towing it. Still, he had hurt the woman who had been beside him purely because the outfit looked very last minute and he believed she deserved better.
He wanted to ask if her parents hated her or if was it her tasteless idea but her kept those thoughts to himself as this side of him wasn't the type. Eventually, she stated it happened all the time, he had to wonder if she was a ditz like many of the socialites he had to entertain or if like him it was some sort of ploy but given the outfit she tried to pass off as a dragon he was going more for the former over the latter at this stage. "S... Still... I... I..." he looked down, it was clear he felt awful at harming her unlike most of what he had done this wasn't an act. He could see that she was confused by his words that the costume would cause issues, he hadn't even gone into why he believed such a thing merely explaining he was part of a tailoring family and would fix her costume as a way of apology.
Before she had a moment to say anything or object he had already started deconstructing the wings before making them far more petite so they wouldn't bother her, he even used his specialized thread so they looked like they were scaled and knew they would keep her warm throughout the night. After sewing them onto the dress he dealt with the long thick tail he had stood on, he made it slimmer and though he kept the length he had used the metal from the wings to allow him to shape it. He made the tail make a heart in the middle and even used some of the fabric to make a small pouch that he then altered the tail once more to make it seem as if it was holding it.
As it was a very basic and quick alteration it took him thirty or so minutes, it was far from his best work but he was sure that her circle would still be jealous of it if they saw her. Standing he dusted himself off and once again apologised stating that she hoped that what he had done to her costume would be enough to make it up to her. It seemed what he had done caught her off guard but he expected that much, he smiled "I... I'm glad. The... the wings will..." he paused as if trying to find the right words "They will ke... keep you warm a... and move with y... your move... movements." he stuttered allowing her to know why she likely no longer felt the chill she had previously. "A... anyway, I... I should continue to th... the next house." he was seemingly having a hard time talking to her but managed before he bowed a little and move towards a house a little away from their current position.

Saeka was very very confused at the event of the night. She wasn't confused of the whole trick or treat aspect or trying to blend in. No, She was a tiny bit confused how she allowed herself to even get scraps. She was an assassin, A Zhongli, She was trained to avoid such things and reflex movements were her second nature. Yet She had been tripped by the makeshift costume of her 'parental' restrainers by some ghost like individual that had accidently stepped on her tail causing the sudden fall.
She could have likely killed him, rip him to shreds for this. She should have, he would make a pretty addition to her kill room and the memories of those she held close. Yet, She didn't. She didn't feel like shredding him, letting her spider consume him. no, She felt something else that was confusing for her as she just didn't understand what this other feeling was inside her as she watched him apologize greatly. He even healed her minor scraps. He then made adjustments to her outfit, tailoring it on the spot as she was confused of the feeling growing more. What was happening? She kept her eyes trained on him before looking at the new wing construct that literally gave her warmth.
Why? She wondered feeling the wings gently in thought. "Why..."She whispered to herself as she watched him speak returning her attention to her wings as she listened to the improvements. Why did he go through all this for a stranger? they weren't friends, they weren't allies? So why? He could have just healed her and walked on.
"Thank you....Again." She said gently standing there for a few minutes recalculating and reassessing herself but pulling herself back to the socialite she was playing moving after him, moving quickly to walking beside him to the next house
