Description: Another danger has risen at sea! The Captains of your previously chosen ship has asked you for aid in dealing with giant squids that keep sinking Clover ships on trade routes to Rague! No-one had return alive from the western trade route yet, please take care of the problem before it grows and becomes more dangerous, literally.

Giant squids that live under water and woke up very hungry! They tend to wrap their tentacles around the ships and drag people overboard and into their giant fang-filled mouths. Their tentacles move at 15 m/s and have junior health. The actual kraken babies have intermediate health, but all damage dealt to them while their bodies are underwater is halved. They do take double damage from the lightning element and deal intermediate if they slap someone with their heavy tentacles.
Special Conditions: You will be taking this mission with either Verona de la Rouge or Smack Caballero and their ships, interact with them! [You’re stuck with whichever one you chose in the first two missions]. Keep their crews safe from the tentacley Krakens! In this mission, your attention will be split between all of the members of the crew you’ve grown close with as you keep them all safe while trying to kill the krakens.
Finishing up this mission chain grants the citizen the NA"Child of the Sea!"

The crew and it's two new companions started to sail west, after the pirate attack. At first this didn't seem to bother Valo much, thinking they were just heading out to learn more about sailing. But the longer he thought about it, the more he started to feel something else was up. The captain already brought the two back to handle the pirates, that was obvious enough. But maybe there something else, one more thing that had to be done before they could sail back home. Valo paced back and forth on the ships deck thinking to himself, before Charlie a friend the young magic knight made on the ship approached him.
"Hey greenhorn! I saw you in action earlier, those were some pretty good moves!" Charlie said patting Valo on the back with a heavy hand. His other hand placing something in Valo's palm. "And thats for you, now you won't have to worry about getting so sick anymore...at least for now. Hahaha." Charlie started to laugh, patting him on the back same heavy hand. Valo took hold of the item it was a small brown bag, with bright colored herbs inside it. "So this is what you gave me back then huh? I appreciate it really. It was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when I ate one really." Valo replied back a smirk over his face. Valo tucked the small bag in his pocket, he didn't need it yet but he was probably going to need it later. He was truly grateful for the gift, but he needed some questions he had answered. "Hey Charlie what is out west? Why is the captain going there?" Valo asked just to see Charlie's weird expression. He took his time answering him, but eventually he did. "Your better off asking the captain directly on that one greenhorn trust me." Charlie said now walking off to head back to work.
Valo paused for a minute thinking about it, he turned his head a few times to find his companion Augustus. He walked over to him with some concern on his face. "Hey Blondie what do you think we're heading out west for? You think the captain needs us for something else? And if so what? You think we should ask her?" Valo would give Augustus, he started to face the general direction of the captain. If Augustus didn't have an answer, Valo may just heed Charlie's advise and ask her directly.
Augustus looked towards the horizon. It was blowing. The sun was still at its peak for the most part, though it seems to be slowly setting now towards the West; their direction and course. There were many things running through Augustus’ mind at the moment. The previous fight being one of them. At this point, they had been able to recuperate for more than a few, and his strength and mana were finally back to where it was previously. However, he knew from the fight itself that he had a long way to go. Of course he did. Augustus might be a nobleman. He might be a part of the upper nobility, serving within the Noble Courts as one of its more prominent politicians. He might be the one to be propagating the heirs of his bloodline. He might be the rising star, at least one of them, within the Church of Clover. But. What he was not, was a proficient fighter. Augustus was more of a brawler. He knew he had the height advantage against a lot of his opponents. He also knew that he had the strength advantage against some of them, his own physical strength surpassing the limits of the common people. That was his forte, after all. Physical attacks. However, there was still much to learn. He knew that his weaknesses were glaring, that he opened himself up to a lot of disadvantages when fighting hand to hand, and that he was most likely to fall one day against a ranged attack. Too many flaws, something he knew he needed to rectify sooner or later. At the moment, his capabilities were good enough to get by. But, that was not what he wanted. He did not want to just be able to get by. Augustus wanted to be strong, to be the shield that protected the Clover Kingdom and its citizens, to be the Aegis of the Church of Clover. [break][break] “One day…” His thoughts floated towards his own sister. There were many things that needed to be said between them. There were many things that needed to be talked about, discussed, and possibly argued about. Lydia Ravencrest was a woman of power, and even though she was the heir to the House of Ravencrest, she would not be able to continue the line because of her tastes in partners. “That woman...I am not surprised at all…” Augustus shook his head with a smile. Of course, his sister would choose a woman of her own caliber. The Vice Captain of the Green Mantis, and the Vice Captain of the Crimson Lions. A power couple if there was any in the history of the Magic Knights. Those thoughts would lead to his own position as the presumptive male to carry on the bloodline of the Ravencrest family. It would not fall to his cousins, that simply would not do at all. Even Augustus knew that their pride as the so-called main family was on the line, and he was not going to be disgracing his own forefathers for casting off his duty. But, it was not so simple. He will need a wife, a partner, and while he would need to start finding a proper lady soon, he knew that at the end of the day, it might not turn out to be a happy ending. A woman who only wanted the Ravencrest name and privilege: that was always the problem he faced. [break][break]
“A yul for your thoughts, Lord Ravencrest?”[break][break]
Augustus would turn his attention away from the starboard. Captain Verona de la Rouge was still at the helm of the ship, sailing their course as they made their way to places unknown. Augustus would smile at the woman kindly, before bowing slightly, “I am no Lord, at least not until my father passes away.” He would smile, before shaking his head, “Here, I am but a deckhand of your mighty ship.”[break][break]
“A deckhand? I would think so. However, you are here at the behest of myself and the city of Raque. The pirates we had just dispatched were, after all, the enemies of the Clover Kingdom. I assure you and your companion that you both will be compensated for your services rendered.”[break][break]
It was then that Valo would arrive and ask Augustus if he knew what they were going to be doing next. Augustus was just about to ask the Captain, before Verona de la Rouge grinned and barked out.[break][break]
“Ladies and Gents! We’re about to approach our second and last destination! The city of Raque, did not only entrust us with the mission to take care of those pirates, but they also wanted us to cull those mana beasts over there!”[break][break]
Verona de la Rouge would point towards their destination. It was a swarm of what seemed to be squid. Or maybe they were just a group of octopus? Giant? No, that can’t be. Augustus had to double take as he saw their quarry.[break][break]
“A dozen giant squids! Not fully grown just yet, or so they said. It seems they are mana beasts that had just been born through either mana, or their mother. Who knows? All I know is that they have been plaguing this trade route, and we must stop them! Now, who’s ready to be paid some Yul!?”[break][break]
Augustus would turn towards Valo, and smile. “I guess this was the reason she wanted us here. Another fight then, hm?” He paused, before grinning, “You think you can take another round?”

Valo's question would be answered by the captain herself in no time, putting whatever thoughts Valo had to rest. She announced that their next destination would have them facing mana beasts out in the sea. At first Valo looked puzzled, he never considered for some reason that there was mana beasts out in the sea. He heard about tales, and little stories but he never really believed them for some reason. Giant squids? he never saw them with his own eyes so he wasn't really convinced that such beasts actually existed. But in a world of very powerful magics and other unexplained things, his doubt wouldn't last long.
Verona de la Rouge would point at a certain destination, and Valo's eyes would widen a bit. It was a swarm of of squids, or perhaps something else maybe just one giant squid it was hard to tell really. But it was clear that they were here to take care of them, so it wasn't just the pirates, but pirates and squid like mana beasts. Valo heard Augustus and his face changed from a puzzled look to a determined one. "Always! I never fought mana beasts squids before...but I'm up for a challenge." he replied to Augustus.
The ship continued to sail headed towards that same destination, Valo prepared himself for a large battle. He didn't want to take these beasts lightly at all, so he readied himself for a big battle. The Green Mantis knight did his usual stretching before fighting, it was important he stayed flexible and mobile during a fight. From the looks of these beasts he assumed even more so. As they got closer it was easier to see just what they were dealing with, it seemed like there was quite a few of these monsters. But even more long tentacles that came up from under the water, some of the tentacles started to try and grab hold of the ship itself. But Verona's excellent skills at the ship's helm prevented such a thing. But the crew-mates were still at risk, fighting pirates and things a like were simple enough, but small kraken like monsters was another story. In order to keep the crew safe, Valo was going to have to move faster than his normal speed. "Fureaakuseru V 2" Valo said to himself activating his spell that would double his current speed and allow him to move much more swiftly and react faster.
He would spring to action once he saw tentacle attempt to grab hold of a crew member, the tentacle rose from the waters paused for a minute before reaching for a victim. Luckily Valo was just fast enough to tackle the crew member avoiding the tentacle entirely. Protecting the crew was his first priority, he wouldn't any of them to be taken by these beasts. Given the dire situation this was no time for laughs or jokes from the magic knight. He looked behind him to see the same tentacle coming his way, Valo managed to land a solid punch with right hand. It caused enough damage for the tentacle to slip right back into the waters, revealing the actual the mana beast itself. Valo looked at a squid like creature, not entirely large but big enough to be a threat. But he quickly found himself not looking at just one, but a few of them all looking relatively the same. Valo made a disgusted face now getting a proper look at these creatures. But since one showed itself he wanted to take it out, he quickly started to prepare a spell "Nijii..." he started to say placing his foot on the edge of the ship's side hoping to strike the baby kraken, but it quickly retreated back into the waters. Valo halted himself knowing his fire attacks would do no good trying to hit something underwater, this was going to be tricky he thought to himself.
He quickly reacted to two more tentacles coming up, both coming towards him he instantly took some hops back avoiding their attacks. His grimoire floated by his side, if he was going to take these things out he needed to attack fast and from a distance. "Sāto no ken" he activated his spell summoning two red blades to his back side. With his increased speed, to dashed towards both of the tentacles he stomped his foot hard on one, causing enough pain for the baby kraken to show itself from the waters. As soon as it showed it's head, Valo sent one of his blade straight towards it's face piercing it then having the blades retract back to his side. He watched as it sunk lower and lower into the depths of the ocean, that was one now time for another.
He grabbed another tentacle and pounded it with his fist, same response from this one as well. The baby kraken reared it's ugly head up only to be met with the other heated blade from Valo's spell killing it instantly.
Full Blitz: By taking this perk, your magic is able to push past the normal limits of your bodies speed. When using a Physical Reinforcement spell that buffs your speed, you can increase it by an additional 5 m/s. At Grand Rank you can increase said spells by 10 m/s. (Note these bonuses do not stack.)
Description: Simply an upgrade to Valo's first Fureaakuseru. Allowing a much greater increase in speed, swiftness and reaction time. Using this spell in combination to Valo's natural speed truly pushes past the limits of an average human movement speed. The small embers still present this time growing a bit in size becoming much more visible to the naked eye.

Apex Predator: For every Attack creation spell that deals damage on a person, you will gain +3 power stack-able buff caps after 5 attacks or +15.
Description: Sāto no ken is a spell that summon an ethereal red glowing blades made of pure heat and flame. The blade is 4 feet tall in length. The blade will hover right behind it's user and automatically follow Valo as he moves throughout the battlefield. In addition Valo is able to move it at will at 20 m/s, for the distance of 20 meters AOE. This spell was created to further increase Valo's offensive potency and damage output by following his own melee attacks. The blade itself able to do at rank damage. The blade being made of fire will add burns with every slash and pierce. This spell is also able to augment Valo's natural strength to intermediate levels. He is also able to make more blades following Intermediate spell ammo rules of 30 control.

Augustus would look towards the mana beasts. Fearsome. And for some reason, quite majestic in their own way. Sea creatures, mana beasts of the deep, were some of the most interesting kinds there were. This was especially because they were not seen too often. Because they roamed in the deep, they were most often not hunted, nor are they encountered in droves. Which meant that their populations were healthier than the creatures who lived on land. There was also the fact that magical beasts that lived within the bowels of the seas and oceans rarely go near the shore, and they also rarely attack voyagers. They were the predators of the deep, not inclined to attack those above the water. [break][break]
“Look out!” Augustus would shout as one of the tentacles of the mana beast would try and latch onto the boat. It seems that whatever repairs the crew had been doing throughout their journey had been so that they could withstand these kinds of attacks. From what Augustus could gather, it seems as though these sailors had been at least prepared. Of course they would. How could they not when they had lived their whole lives here in the open sea. They must have had some form of experience with these types of situations. It was just like the pirate attack, where they had a systematic way of dealing with them. First, to safeguard the ship, and then, to counter attack. It had been a good way to do it, and it seems that this time, they had been pre prepared. Understandably so, as Augustus found himself rocked back and forth by the enormous tentacles that these mana beasts had. Or were they mana beasts? Augustus was not sure, though they were creatures that certainly needed to be stopped at all cost. [break][break]
“Are these creatures something that is common within these deep waters?” Augustus would ask as his grimoire started to float beside him. The captain, Verona de la Rouge, would grin as she quickly turned the ship sideways to get them away from a massive wave that had been collateral with the thrashing of these sea creatures. [break][break]
“Oh these? These are babies! Nothing more than just growing pups that will one day become fearsome beasts that will terrorize the seas! We usually don’t hunt the young ones, especially since we don’t classify them as mana beasts that needs to be culled. However! These ones have been destroying our ships left and right, and the request came through for us. It was better to deal with them now, rather than wait for them to be fully grown!”[break][break]
Augustus would nod. Of course, he understood the need to deal with them before they grew into the monstrous size that they would. If this was their current size, then Augustus knew that when they actually grew to be adults, then they would either be twice or even thrice this size. That, in itself, was a scary thought. He was not one to doubt the logic.[break][break]
“Abyssal Armor.”[break][break]
Dark magic immediately covered Augustus from head to toe. It would envelop him as it turned into a Dark element armor that doubled as a spell that augmented his strength. Augustus knew that he would need all the help he could get, especially since this was an opponents that he could not fight with just versatility alone. They were not human sized, and therefore it was not a fight where he could utilize his swordsmanship. Instead, he would need to be very careful, assess the situation, and make his moves based on those assessments.[break][break]
It was then that he turned towards Valo, who was already on the move. It seems that the man had found some way to combat the creatures, as he seemed to be waiting for them to come out of the water before striking. Why was he doing that? Augustus would ponder for a moment, before realizing that if the tentacles were their target, the mana beasts could technically retreat and outswim them. No, if they wanted to beat them, they needed to go in for a swift kill. And what better way for that than to aim for their heads. [break][break]
“Squires of the Black Order.”[break][break]
Two golems would appear beside Augustus. With their mana tethers, Augustus would order for them to fly up, and wait for his signal. Augustus would follow Valo’s own technique. Hurt them enough to come up, and then strike. It seems to be the only way for these creatures to surface. The pain must be enough for them to thrash around, which resulted in them showing their faces.[break][break]
The first tentacle would slam beside Augustus, narrowly missing the man as he flinched at the sudden attack. Taking advantage, Augustus would swing his unsheathed Lumiere at the tentacle, lobbing the end off in one feel swoop. The beast would surface and cry out in pain as it thrashed around. [break][break]
“Now!”[break][break]
The first Squire would swoop down and plunge its sword at the surfaced and exposed head, seemingly killing it in an instant. The golem would pull its sword arm out of the creature’s head, before flying up once more and taking position.[break][break]
Augustus, for his part, was already onto the second tentacle. It had smashed the ship near the helm, and he found himself leaping towards it. For the man, it felt like playing whack a mole, and he was grinning. However, he would soon regret his enjoyment as he was smacked by a tentacle out of nowhere, sending him skidding back. Instead of letting himself fly, Augustus held onto the tentacle with one hand and pulled the creature with a loud grunt of exertion. With his augmented strength, he was able to pull the creature’s body out of the water with just enough time for his Squire to be ordered to swoop down and stab it in the eye.[break][break]
Augustus would let the tentacle go, and with it, the limp body of the sea creature falling back into the sea. Looking down, he found his armor had cracked, though it seems to be already repairing itself. He would look towards the rest of the ship now, realizing that even with two of his own killed, they still had more to go.[break][break]

The spell armor takes the form that is akin to what a knight would wear, though it still leaves flexibility for Augustus to move in. The armor itself is a defense spell, with Senior health. The armor also boosts Augustus strength, buffing his physical strength akin to an Intermediate spell. He can cast the spell for his allies, with accordance to ammo rules, through touch. They must stay within 20 meters of him for the spell to be continually sustained.[break][break]
Name of Spell: Squire of the Black Order[break] Spell Element: Dark[break] Spell Rank: Intermediate[break] Mana Cost: 20 | 10[break] Type of Golem: Predator[break] Applicable Perks: Fierce Golems[break] Description: By channeling his mana, Augustus Dark element conjures up a golem that manifests into a knightly form. Standing at four meters in height, these Dark element golems use a blade that is a part of themseld to attack their opponent/s, though is only able to engage in melee combat, and their sword is physically incapable of leaving their hand. The crest of House Ravencrest is emblazoned on its chest, a statement of pride for Augustus. On their back are folded wings, that can be used by the golem for flight. The golem can be used for transportation purposes, with the speed of 9m/s and can carry 2 people on its back. Augustus can summon more than one Squire of the Black Order based on ammo rules for Intermediate golems of 30 Control per copy, capping at four. The golem/s is controlled either through simple verbal commands, or through its mana tether that is sustained by the caster. During combat, the golem/s gain +5 Durability because of the Dark element's boon. [break]

The battle had just gotten started from the looks of it, Valo was successful in taking down two of these sea dwelling mana beasts but there was still more to go. Aside from that protecting the crew members was top priority as well, there was no room for failure on this mission. Valo's eyes darted around his surroundings quickly, making sure he didn't miss a anything that was going on around him. He had come up with a successful strategy so far as to dealing with these baby krakens, he wasn't a water mage so meeting them in the water wasn't an option. He was in fact the opposite a fire mage, so he had be cautious and smart about this.
He was able to take out two of the mana beasts so far, and from the look at the waters he cut down the numbers but on his side there was still about four left to deal with. Now was the time to act, from the corner of his eye he saw a crew member about to be snatched by a tentacle. With a flick of right arm he sent one of his heated blades from his spell spinning over slicing the tentacle in half. With his ability to continue to guide the blade, he turned it and had it go straight towards the baby kraken that exposed itself piercing it right in the head killing it. "That makes three.." Valo said to himself as he kept count, he focused his eyes towards the water to get a count of how many more he had to deal with. From the looks of it he had three more, the battle wasn't over yet.
"Three more to go it looks like on my side..." Valo looked over to the other side of the ship where Augustus was, to see how he was holding up. From the looks of it just fine, he was protected by his armor like usual and called his golems to his aid. The blonde priests fighting style reminded Valo of some kind of war general donned in heavy armor, with his troops behind him ready to take action with a mere call. It was befitting for a battle priest like Augustus, seeing him in action cleared his thoughts about this task being overwhelming if they kept at it they could finish this in no time. But something started to happen that would catch his eye, these baby krakens were getting a little more aggressive. One of them managed to use it's tentacles and start to pull itself up on the boat. Valo had to act quickly, his grimoire coming to side he would activate another spell of his to give him support.
"Hi no Tori!" he shouted summoning his reliable fire golems to come to his aid, they wouldn't be much help in the physical department. But their ability to fly and carry one person was all he needed right now. Two crew men had lost their footing and started to slip down towards the baby kraken, with a mana tether Valo had two of his three golems swoop down and snatch up the crew men flying them to a safer spot on the ship. Now that they were out of harms way, Valo faced the mana beast. He grabbed hold of his golems claw and used it to gain some height, over the the baby kraken. One positioned correctly he let go and dropped from above, landing feet first right on top of the kraken. He clenched his fist and and swung his arm back and then straight down, landing a solid punch on the baby kraken killing it with one blow.
With one more down, Valo was distracted and before he knew it a tentacle had grabbed him from behind. The baby kraken used it's tentacle to drag Valo closer to the water, but with a mana tether Valo commanded all three of his golems to swoop in and distract the kraken. His golems had done their job but the krakens managed to use it's other tentacles and swipe at two of this golems destroying them. But that was all the time he needed, he commanded his last golem to fly towards him so he could grab hold of it's claw. Valo used one of his blades from his Swords of Surtr spell and sliced the tentacle, and used his other blade to pierce the krakens head when it showed it self from the waters killing another one.
Valo was now in the air holding on to his last golem, he had one more baby kraken left to deal with.

Name of Spell: 火の鳥 (Hi no tori / FireBird) Spell Element: Fire Spell Rank: Junior Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Type of Golem: Balanced Applicable Perks: Puppet Master Description: The Hi ni tori are airborne golems made of pure fire. Reaching about 2 meters in size, they are simple in their usage. Using it's sharp beak and claws to scratch and slash. Also using it's wings to attack as well causing some decent damage. Hi no tori's can be used for transportation following the transportation guidelines for Junior ranked golem spells. They can carry one person at a time and fly at speeds of 5 m/s. They take simple commands from their caster using a mana connection and verbal orders.
The fight was starting to slowly go their way. At least, that was what Augustus felt like was happening. Of course, he could be wrong about this, but for his part, he knew that the sudden cheers of the other sailors meant that another one of the sea creatures had been dispatched. Not by him, however, but possibly by Valo. [break][break]
The sea was something that Augustus himself was not as familiar with compared to other nobles of his own generation. He supposed that being locked up within the family library and the manor itself, forced to study and to keep his wits about, and basically having little time else for anything, Augustus was not the most worldly of men. He did, however, know a lot about the world. But sometimes, it was the experience that mattered. It was something Augustus knew he sorely lacked, something he had been trying to enrich himself by doing these kinds of missions. Not only was he helping out the populace, but he was also technically helping himself. The world was his supposed oyster, yet for most of his early years as a youth, the only oyster he had ever had was those served on a platter for him. Being cooped up inside for most of his life had driven him to want to explore. To want to see the world. To want to experience what those of his own kin and kind experienced. And, if that was by fighting these creatures, then so be it. [break][break]
The first of the creatures was once more on him. The fight would be difficult, yet Augustus knew that he had to endure. Just like previously, he would do his best to make sure that he was not caught in a tight spot, and instead, use the creatures’ own attack to his advantage. After all, the large tentacles were prime targets for his own sword, while his golems were ready and waiting to take advantage of the sea creatures surfacing and trying their best to hunt down their prey. It was then that the first tentacle would pop up. Two of them, in fact, simultaneously, reached over the port side of the ship and slammed against the wooden planks. Being magically enhanced, and possibly mana infused as well, the wooden planks of the ship did not budge as much as it would if it were just regular planks of wood. Augustus would not be able to take advantage of this attack, instead letting it sink back its appendages after hitting basically nothing. He had been able to dodge, but that had been it. Augustus knew that patience was a virtue, and so he made sure to take a deep breath as he found himself wondering where the creature would be striking next. [break][break]
It was then that he was rewarded.[break][break]
His Squires of the Black Order were still up in the air and flying. Augustus knew that the old tactic was the best one to employ, especially now when they were seemingly slowing down their attacks against Augustus. He was unsure whether it was because they were now becoming more careful, having seen their brethren fall to the two Magic Knights, or if they were planning something much more sinister. To be on the safe side, Augustus would employ caution with his actions. Better be safe than sorry, after all.[break][break]
A tentacle, massive in size, reared up from the waters and hit the ship on its port side once more. Augustus would be ready, and quickly jumped towards the appendage. His sword, Lumiere, was used to stab through the tentacle. He would not let it get away this time, and he knew that the pain would most likely force the creature to rear up its head. It was its weakness. The creature, the mana beast, was an animal after all. A beast of nature. It would be predictable, and Augustus capitalized on that.[break][break]
The beast would rear up, and without another word, Augustus commanded one of his own golems to swoop down and stab the creature straight in its head. It was above the water and would give Augustus’ golem a clear hit. Augustus would watch as the creature would cry out in pain, before sinking back down to the depths. [break][break]
Then its brethren decided to show itself, unwilling to take the loss of its own without consequence to the killer. Before Augustus could get his bearings once more, another set of tentacles would spring up from above. [break][break]
“Two?!” [break][break]
Augustus would dodge one, but would be smacked back by the other. He would wince in pain, his already repaired armor having another gash on it. However, it would protect him. As the tentacle that hit him would try to recede back, Augustus quickly held onto it, before pulling it back with his augmented strength. Without another word, his own golem would already be waiting as the creature would be forced to rear its head up and away from the water. Swooping down, the creature would be struck head on, without any mercy.[break][break]
The other creature would rise up from its depths, trying to crawl into the ship as it seemed to hunger for Augustus, the killer of its kin. Augustus, for his part, would take his Lumiere sword and stab the creature, trapping it for a moment, before his second golem would swoop down and would swipe at the eyes of the creature.It was then that Augustus pulled his sword off front tentacle, an leapt towards the head of the giant octopus. With a stab, the creature would fall limp, and slowly fall back into the sea. [break][break]
It was then that he felt the water rage behind him.[break][break] “One more…”

The crest of House Ravencrest is emblazoned on its chest, a statement of pride for Augustus. On their back are folded wings, that can be used by the golem for flight. The golem can be used for transportation purposes, with the speed of 9m/s and can carry 2 people on its back. Augustus can summon more than one Squire of the Black Order based on ammo rules for Intermediate golems of 30 Control per copy, capping at four. The golem/s is controlled either through simple verbal commands, or through its mana tether that is sustained by the caster. During combat, the golem/s gain +5 Durability because of the Dark element's boon. [break]

Valo eyed his last kraken that he had to defeat, the threat was almost over but not entirely. He was still in the air hanging on to his airborne golem Hi No Tori, his last one. This should be pretty easy now, Valo still had his swords of Surtr spell active. The last kraken started to attack the ship once more, the fire mage controlled one of his fire blades and sliced it's tentacle in half. When the kraken showed it's face Valo dropped down from above and prepared to finish the kraken off. "Niji Tenka!" he shouted as a burst of intense flames released from his foot. He landed on the baby kraken with his spell attack killing it in one blow, once the kraken started to sink into the water. Valo did high flip jump landing back on the ship. He watched as the last of his baby kraken's sunk to the bottom of the ocean defeated.
With the threat over Valo ended his current spells with a wave of his hand and found himself receiving thanks, from the fellow crew men. He did just save most of their lives so it made sense they would at least be a little grateful. He looked over to Augustus and by this time the priest would be finished with his own party of baby krakens. If he was Valo would nod towards him with another complete mission under their belts. The duo worked well together and with their combined efforts they were able to protect the whole crew from the Krakens.
Soon after the captain of the ship Verona de la Rouge, made her presence known and easily got everyone's attention. "Crew of The Red Solaria!! We have just purged another threat from our precious seas! No longer will the threats of pirates or mana beasts strike fear into the hearts of us sailors! Today we have accomplished a lot, and we should all be proud of what he have done! But also a special thanks to both of our new official crew mates Augustus the Priest! and Valo the magic knight! With their efforts we were able to conquer all the goals before us! Now we head back home! To drink and to celebrate!" Verona gave her speech and the helm of the ship, standing proud.
Valo looked up at the helm, he still didn't get the chance to steer the ship. The young knight smirked and made a mental note to steer a ship one day, probably when he got over this sickness he had when it comes to fish and large bodies of sea water. But for now he was just happy to finally be getting back home, and back on land. While these sea adventures were fun and all, Valo realized his place was on land. But he was proud to be an official member of Verona's crew, this probably wasn't going to be the last time he worked with them.
Valo went up to to his companion Augustus and would attempt to pat the guy the shoulder a few times. "Blondie! When we land we should get a drink! All we ever do is work and work! Plus you haven't finished telling me about that massive sword you carry around." Valo said with excitement in his voice, finally ready to head back to town.
Apex Predator: For every Attack creation spell that deals damage on a person, you will gain +3 power stack-able buff caps after 5 attacks or +15.
Description:  Sāto no ken is a spell that summon an ethereal red glowing blades made of pure heat and flame. The blade is 4 feet tall in length. The blade will hover right behind it's user and automatically follow Valo as he moves throughout the battlefield. In addition Valo is able to move it at will at 20 m/s, for the distance of 20 meters AOE. This spell was created to further increase Valo's offensive potency and damage output by following his own melee attacks. The blade itself able to do at rank damage. The blade being made of fire will add burns with every slash and pierce. This spell is also able to augment Valo's natural strength to intermediate levels. He is also able to make more blades following Intermediate spell ammo rules of 30 control.
Name of Spell: 火の鳥 (Hi no tori / FireBird) Spell Element: Fire Spell Rank: Junior Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Type of Golem: Balanced Applicable Perks: Puppet Master Description: The Hi ni tori are airborne golems made of pure fire. Reaching about 2 meters in size, they are simple in their usage. Using it's sharp beak and claws to scratch and slash. Also using it's wings to attack as well causing some decent damage. Hi no tori's can be used for transportation following the transportation guidelines for Junior ranked golem spells. They can carry one person at a time and fly at speeds of 5 m/s. They take simple commands from their caster using a mana connection and verbal orders.

Description: A more powerful version of Valo's original Saisho no tenka. Following the same steps the base of the spell is simple in nature, but this time it can be used in either a punch or kick like motion. A eruption of red and orange flames will release aiming to damage and burn an intended target. Still capable of using it at a distance or point back range. Turning into a AOE with much wider range than the original when striking the ground.
Augustus turned just in time to dodge the oncoming tentacle. [break][break]
The creature was menacing in its form. Augustus paused for a moment as he tried to get his bearings. The ship was rocking back and forth with the recent attack, and he knew that if he rushed in, he would most likely fall on his back and lose any momentum that he might have gotten if he would just wait for a moment. And wait, he did. The ship would slowly right itself, and just before the baby kraken pulled back its tentacle, Augustus leapt into action. [break][break]
His armor was still intact. The gash that it sustained from the previous attack on it had been repaired by the spell itself. That had been one of the key features of his own defensive type spells, which were a boon to him as a melee type of fighting. [break][break]
With Lumiere, Augustus stabbed the baby Kraken’s tentacle just before it could slink back into the depths. He would pull it as hard as he could, not only creating a gash, but also slowly pulling the Kraken up, though not entirely. He was hoping it would rear its ugly head for him to stab, and finally end this madness. [break][break]
He was rewarded immediately. The young Kraken reared its whole body, trying to use its weight as some sort of leverage. Yet, it was in vain. Augustus had one of his golems at the ready. With a quick order, one of his own Squires would dive down and stab the baby Kraken, effectively ending its existence. [break][break]
Augustus would pull Lumiere out of the Kraken’s tentacle, before letting it fall into the depths. There were cheers. It seems as though they had finally finished their task, and Augustus himself breathed a sigh of relief. [break][break]

Augustus nodded, before turning towards Valo who had addressed him. He smiled, before responding. “Why not. You should definitely drop by the Church sometime. The children are often too curious about the Magic Knights, so you appearing might be a treat for them.” [break][break]
The way back to land would be swift, but Augustus would be pining for it. The day was done, and their mission completed.
