Rosalia had raised an eyebrow originally when Malcolm had given her and Chisana a week off at Silvert Lake to “bond.” She didn’t have a problem with it, she quite liked the youngling, found him handsome for his age, but she wasn’t sure why exactly him. Charles was lazy enough to instantly agree to a break, whereas Malcolm, the beauty knew him well enough to refer to him by his name not his title in private, would’ve enjoyed some free time to drink with her. So why would he have made Chisana come with her?
[break][break]
It was getting late outside. The sun had set hours ago and the dark night took to the sky, showing a moderate amount of stars in the cloudy evening. Magic Knights and Royal Guards moved along the streets, guarding the more wealthy members of Clover’s society as Rosalia’s black heels clicked over the stone streets ignorantly past them. She cared for status, more-so than she probably should’ve, but as long as she didn’t bump into anyone and paid enough attention to avoid the drunk boisterous lesser nobles. They could be a real pain to refuse if she wasn’t in the mood or attracted to them… [break][break]
The red-haired witch strode down to the streets of the Royal Capital confidently, despite not knowing it as well as Kikka, Rague or Sosshi. The place was very well kept together, whether it was just for societal appearances or because people were cocky enough to actually find the need to change their curtains and carpets daily.
Rosalia’s heels paused in front of a very large and well put-together tavern. The wood that adorned its stone outsides was carved in the shape of a giant dragon, and it made her cock an eyebrow to one side as it reminded her of Azordesmon. She eyed the sign, reading “Dire Dragon Tavern” as the lute music that was strummed inside reached her ears. It made Rosalia purse her lips and push the front door open. The sound of her heels moving over to the bar attracting the usual unwanted attention from Magic Knights, Lesser and Higher Nobles alike, but the witch had grown used to the gazes. Her Black Bulls mantle and Vice Captain badge fluttered gently through the air as she walked, revealing her well sculpted body in its tight black latex and suede bodysuit. [break][break]
“Rhum.” She voiced to the bartender as she sat down on one of the stood infront of the nice light wooden bar. The woman reached back and undid the scrunchie that held together her long hair, letting it spill down over her frame as she took a large swig of the golden liquid in her cup and then exhaled happily. Fucking idiot cultist. The blood of the ghouls still smeared the bottom of her nice boots, but it had dried down, thus making it difficult for just anyone to notice. Rosalia tilted her head to one side as she lifted the glass to her lips once more and scanned the room with her ruby eyes. [break][break]
The Tavern had a pair of Purple Orcas sitting in one booth, and not too far away from them, another few Silver Eagles, playing a game of poker. Several tables were swarmed with young wizards and lesser nobles drinking animatedly…most of them were probably drunk already. As Rosalia turned back towards the bartender, designating that there was nobody in the immediate vicinity that interested her, she found herself staring at a shot glass full of a bright blue liquid. When she turned to look at the bartender, he pointed to one of the Purple Orca gentleman who lifted a cup towards her. [break][break]
Hmmm…perhaps tonight could be interesting after all… [break][break]
She wondered what Jett was doing since she last saw him. It had been months since the Magic Knight exams, and while he never had given into her charms, her was an amazing conversation partner and powerful mage. The beauty raised the shot glass and downed it, giving the male a grin, but not moving from her spot. Whether he was looking for a conversation or something more, he’d have to come to her to get it. Rosalia mouthed a little “Thanks” to the Orcas before turning back forwards and downing the rest of her Rhum. [break][break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Nights in the Royal Capital were always so lax...the ever busy Zaven Blake was walking the streets, looking for a tavern that still allowed him entrance since he was usually an ass when it came to drinking in public over long periods...hell the last time he did so openly...a damn Black Bull named Charles had to take him back to the headquarters to sleep it off, but that was still a fun time to him...he got to go on a cool adventure because of it and he never regretted that decision. [break][break]
The stars that were out were not too different than how they usually were, but a few of the new constellations that came with the Shattering incident stood out prominently, it did not take him long to find the one bar that the other new recruits of the Golden Dawn talked about. ”The Dire...Dragon...Tavern...whoever is naming these places around here was a serious fan of lizards...can’t be worse than the Salty Troll…” He walked towards the doors. He was not dressed as a knight that night. He was dressed in a black jacket, his hair was a bit wild due to the wind, but his azure eyes shined like the very stars did that night. His attire under the jacket was a simple pull over and slacks, he was definitely more relaxed as he stepped through that threshold and into the tavern proper. It seemed that he had garnered some sort of ire as he saw the stares of most all the knights at least once as he gave a sly grin and snapped as the shadows of the room all began to dance, and like it was some sort of revelation, all of them who might have wanted to protest some random person idly walking in became quiet as a mouse. ”So, this is where the knights are gathering now? Guess I will try this place out too, hope you have plenty to drink barkeep...I am parched.” Zaven said as he walked forward, his footsteps were unbelievably light considering the boots he was wearing. As he walked towards the bar however, he noticed a familiar mana signature just a few feet away and as he was not really going to pay attention to the room at first he just could not resist this. He took a seat next to Rosalia and gave her a smile before putting his arm over her shoulders ”So you leave Sosshi and come to the Capital but don’t even let me know before you arrive. Guess this means I am buying drinks tonight doesn’t it Vice Captain Rosalia.” He said those words, especially her name as it seemed to roll off his tongue in a tantalizing tone before waving the barkeep over, the man that showed up next was the Purple Orca member that bought Rosa a drink just before he had arrived and looked at Zaven, the dimly lit tavern gave Zaven some shadow to hide his face for the most part as the guy claimed that Rosa was actually with him. [break][break]
After hearing those words Zaven would honestly lean forward and let his face be seen by the Purple Orca member, the man seemingly looked like a sheet of wet parchment afterwards and even though Zaven did not have to say anything, the point got across. As the barkeep came up he seemed to recognize Zaven almost immediately. ”So, Shadow of Dawn...what will you be drinking tonight...I assume you are trying to empty my stock and fill my coffers?” The man asked in a teasing manner as the bar seemed to quiet down a bit at this. Zaven meanwhile just gave a soft chuckle.I am off duty tonight, so Let me get a bottle of whiskey, brandy, and the specialty wine from Raque. I won’t bleed you dry if I can help it. Rosa, what will you be having?” He asked as he felt another mana signature that was familiar coming towards the door. Well...Looks like we are adding one more to our party tonight barkeep. I don’t know how much of your stores are going to actually be dry yet...I apologize in advance.” He said as he nudged Rosalia and pointed to the door.
[attr="class","florencetext"] It was already night time in clover when the vice captain of the crimson lions finished her work for the day. While it was a long day Lydia wasn't ready for bed just yet after all the night was still young and there were many things she could do for fun. She thought about asking Artemis to come over but the pink haired mage planned on going to a tavern for some drink and the water mage didn't drink herself. As much as Lydia enjoyed spending all her time with her partner the vice captain didn't want to ask the women to come all this way just to watch her drinks. So there Lydia was alone walking the streets of the royal capital. Most people found the city to be beautiful which is was after all most of all the upper and rich main nobles lived in the city and while she did find the town beautiful it also bored her as she grew up in the capital her whole life. She would walk past some other nobles who looked like they were a few to many cups in and were now getting sick on the street. The crimson eyed women would just look at them in disgust after all she knew them well and knew they looked down on commoners for the same thing they were doing now. [break][break] She honestly found it distasteful but wouldn't say anything as there was no need to cause trouble. After a few more minutes of walking one of the taverns would catch her eye. The Dire Dragon? Well lets hope this place is good. With that vice captain would walk into the place which seemed to be pretty busy. She was of course wearing her normal outfit other than the gloves as she didn't plan on getting blood on her hands tonight. Her normal pink painted nails were also now a light shade of blue something she did while she was working on the more boring paperwork earlier in the day. [break][break] Lydia would of course spot Rosa and Zaven at the front of the bar with what looked to be purple orca mage? It seemed at least Zaven noticed her once he got done with whatever he was doing with the purple orca mage so she'd start making her way over to the three. The glass mage wasn't sure if the purple orca was brave or just plain dumb as he then sat down next to the black bull vice captain. While she might not have known what happened but she lived in a squad of mostly men so she knew how they could get over a women let alone was as good looking as Rosalia. So it was better to deal with the purple orca mage before he got hurt and she had a simple plan really. The pink haired mage would put her arm over his shoulder before pulling him closer while smiling. While those further way might have seen it as something friendly it was far from it. As the purple orca mage opened his mouth to speak Lydia would hold up a finger to silence him. [break][break] No I don't want to buy you a drink nor do I plan on going home with you. I assume you know who I am. You see we have a problem as I'm here to drink with my two friends right next to you. However I'm going to need your seat I recommend you stop while your ahead before you get hurt. You know who we crimson lions can get when we lose our tempers it would be a shame if you got hurt. So what do you say will you give me that spot? As Lydia was speaking she would use her intimating aura title perk which worked on the man and more than likely even the black bulls vice captain. [break][break] There was even a chance it might have worked on Zaven as well. Either way it got the job done and the purple orca mage would give up his spot and Lydia would take a seat. Well if it isn't the captain of the golden boys and the vice captain of my second favorite squad. I hope I'm not to late to the party? As the barkeep asked what she wanted to drink the crimson lion vice captain would take a moment to to think about it. I'll take your best wine if you don't mind. It only took the man a few minutes to bring her the glass and sadly it was white wine and Lydia preferred red but she would drink it either way. So what do the two of you plan on drinking?

[break][break]
Rosalia was initially distracted by the Purple Orca’s presence and attention. The beauty had an exhausting day, but all things considered, she could still appreciate the male interest better than most. She loved conversation and sex, after all. Whichever one she won from the male could only benefit in her amusement. [break][break] There was a sudden shift in the room as she felt the many gazes on her back shift away. For a second, Rosalia felt offended. Had a woman, more pleasing than her really taken her influence away from the minds of the mortal men? Her gaze shifted down onto the mug in her hand before she felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end at the familiar voice she hadn’t heard in about a month. The shadow of her cup flickered silently, freely, almost as if it was alive. The witch didn’t turn to look at him, as she heard his footsteps approach her, only moving to look at him once he sat down next to her.
[break][break] When he gave her a smile, she simply raised an amused eyebrow, ready to greet him until he placed an arm around her shoulders. A gesture of comfort for all to see. And also a claim, for most who had eyes to see. For a second there the beauty wondered whether she should peel his arm off, as they were in a public place, yet he was one of her best friends. In reality, this was normal.
[break][break] “I was on a mission and finished it just thirty minutes ago, ended up here…it wasn’t a planned thing for me to inform you about, Zaven.” Her sentence seemed scolding, but she’d called his name out without his title, something he’d recognize to be a gesture of high familiarity. “But if you’re offering to spend your gold on little ol’ me…I won’t say no.” Her voice turned quiet, soft and velvety as she held his gaze, a little smirk crossing her lips for a split second before she felt another pair of footsteps behind her. Ah…the Purple Orca member. She’d almost forgotten about him.
[break][break] The Golden Dawn Captain was quick to intimidate the other mage, but it seemed that the loud female voice behind the pair was what sealed the deal. Rosalia nearly choked on the last sip of her drink as Lydia’s sassy remarks earned her the spot on her other side. The witch turned to the Purple Orca, giving him a little apologetic smile as her two friends dominated the bar with their auras. It was who they were. Influential people, from powerful families who had achieved a lot on their own. Some of the strongest Magic Knights around.
[break][break] Before Rosa could answer Zaven’s question, she was asked another by Lydia, so she decided to combine the answers efficiently, while biting the inside of her cheek at the fact that the male still had his arm around his shoulders.
[break][break] “Well, Zaven just ordered a bunch of bottles for himself…I think I’ll actually go for some cherry liquor tonight…I’m feeling very sweet. So maybe some rhum too. “ The ice witch glanced at the bartender as she spoke, making sure he was getting all of that. Unlike her friends, she didn’t care much for the quality, it was clear they were getting drunk anyways. Her “sweet” comment was directed a bit at Zaven as well, and she was wondering if he would be able to grasp it.
[break][break] “How’ve you been Lydia? I haven’t seen you since the Magic Knight Exams.” The beauty asked as she glanced over at the pink-haired Crimson Lion’s face. She’d heard rumors, of course, of the Vice-Captain having someone on her heart. Rosalia wouldn’t ask Lydia relationship questions straightforwardly of course, not sober. She wasn’t as close to her as she was to Zaven or Malcolm. She smiled at the bartender as he brought all of their bottles over. He poured her some cherry liquor and she’d wait for everyone to have a drink in hand before glancing over at the Blake’s azure hues and leaning back a bit. She wanted to be able to see both of them as she asked “So…what are we toasting to? Glory? Money? Adventure? Friends?”
[break][break] The beauty listed off as she waited for either of them to point out something they liked.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Lydia walked up and made herself known in a very...Lydia fashion. She of course got the Purple Orca, who should have left by the time she had arrived, finally as the trio was now in that table as she went straight into ordering for herself. Of course she ordered a wine, the Ravencrest family made wine after all so it was not out of the ordinary. Rosalia finally ordered hers, a cherry whiskey...even going as far as to call Zaven by his first name and tease him back. There was small talk of course, and Zaven did not mind as the two talked about not seeing each other since the Magic Knight Exams. Giving a nod to Zaven calling his squad the Golden Boys and asking if she was late to the party. Zaven gave a light chuckle as he went to respond as the drinks came. [break][break]
”Always a pleasure Ms. Ravencrest...I hope all is well with you and the red cubs. Let me know when you fancy something other than wine...I am sure the whiskey the two of us ordered will whet the tongue just fine.” He of course said in jest just as Rosalia proposed a toast. He did not miss her comment about sweet, and the gaze of her ruby eyes as he nearly got lost in them as he usually did when around her. Asking what they were going to toast to, Zaven poured himself a glass of the brandy, the deep earthy color of the liquor looked tasty and the flavor it gave off was of smoked cedar. It likely came from Hage or somewhere near the borders. Looking back to Rosalia he would want to say something bold, but noticing Lydia he did not let his gaze linger too long and he raised his glass if he was indeed to speak before Lydia...who knew the crimson lady was fast...she might have beat him to the punch. [break][break]
To our friends and those close enough to be family around the world. May they all have some sort of exciting night for I am going to enjoy my night drinking with beauty that has yet to be captured by something other than the eye. Of course the Shadow of Dawn reserved his words for Rosalia, but he also could not deny Lydia’s beauty as well. He was not dumb enough to say that out loud though as he waited, but in the case that he was last to toast he would say his words and wait for Rosalia if she wanted to say a few words before they all drank.
[attr="class","florencetext"] As Lydia sat down the two other high ranking magic knights she would give the younger women a smile. It's been busy since the magic knight exams. I've been doing missions, checking out new dungeons, spending time with Artemis filling out paperwork. Anything to keep myself busy as I don't like to sit around all that much. It seemed the three of them had really all ordered different types of alcohol and while the crimson lion vice captain preferred wine she was able to drink any kind. It seemed tonight wasn't going to be a wine night after all how could it be with these two around. Her gaze would then turn towards Zaven as he spoke. [break][break] You can just call me Lydia and they are how you'd expect them to be always looking for a fight, being to loud and leaving me to much paperwork but I love them anyway. The second half of course didn't go unnoticed by the pink haired noble. Oh hoping that I'll let you tongue loosen on my personal life? I didn't take you as the gossip type sir Blake. She would of course say that teasingly before switching back to a more serious tone. If you wish to know more about my personal life ask away I'll answer. After all people talk anyways. As for the whiskey perhaps after this glass I never was a fan of white wine. [break][break] As Rosa offered a toast well more so asking what they should toast to Lydia would think about it for a moment. Why not to you becoming the vice captain of the black bulls? As the golden dawn mage gave his own ideal Lydia would nod in agreement. That's always a good one as well. Once they finished the toast Lydia would down her first drink of the night before turning to the golden dawn mage.So what kind of whiskey is it tonight. Oh and before I forget what have the two of you been up to as of late?

The beauty chuckled softly at Zaven’s little jest proposal of drink towards the posh Crimson Lion Vice-Captain. Rosa could feel the deep azure gaze upon her briefly as she spoke and, while assuming what hot little thoughts were running through the Blake’s head, she tucked a strand of crimson hair behind her ear. [break][break]
The first toast was in appreciation of friends and those close enough for them to call family. It was a kind proposal, and she liked the beginning of it, before letting a little smirk slip onto her lips at the end of it. Ah Zaven Blake and his silver tongue. He was being incredibly bold. This was a place where many Magic Knights gathered, and gossip would spread fast of their closeness. She was fine with it for the most part, hoping that the Golden Dawn Captain’s reputation would not be harmed with her own of being an “easy woman.” [break][break]
The ice witch felt herself nod at the mention of Artemis. She was a kind soul, that Green Mantis. While she couldn’t understand why the Somerset water mage enjoyed being there, she could appreciate the connection that Lydia seemed to have fostered with her. She’d read summary Magic Knight news reports of them clearing a dungeon together. The beauty was certain things were left out of those reports, considering the way the name sounded on the Crimson Lion’s lips, but decided to keep her mouth shut on the topic. There was no need for anymore rumors to be spread here tonight. Unless Lydia did open her mouth to indeed say she had no issue with discussing her personal matters and that god Rosalia wasn’t drinking anything because she would spit it out. Was she missing something or was the Crimson Lion flirting with the Golden Dawn member lightly as well? Oh lord, her mind swirled. A threesome? She had to mentally slap herself at the thought. [break][break]
At the next suggestion from the Ravencrest, Rosalia nearly dropped her glass. A toast to her becoming Vice-Captain? It had caught her off-guard. The beauty’s change of status was something she wasn’t used to having a discussion about. “Uh yeah, we can do that too.” The idea hadn’t even crossed her mind. [break][break]
“Perhaps on my side…I say we also toast to this delightful twist of fate, a midnight rendezvous between friends.” She grinned boldly and clinked her glass with that of Zaven and Lydia before taking a large few sips of her cherry liquor. She enjoyed the way the alcohol burned the back of her throat alongside the sweet taste. A little moan escaped her lips. “Oh this is actually real fucking nice.” Her voice came out low before she turned to the Crimson lion with a grin. [break][break]
“Well, taking on different missions and training for the exam. Got assigned to doing some dungeons with the one to my right.” Rosalia nudged Zaven playfully as she turned to look at him again. The Hollow Nest was…an experience for the pair, but it had turned out wonderful in the evening following. [break][break]
“What about you?I heard rumors of you and lady Somerset of the Mantices clearing a village of a corrupted well?” The witch asked for details before hearing the door to the bar open once more. She wouldn’t have cared had she not felt the sudden malice that had come upon her back. “The fuck?” She murmured as she glanced at her friends before turning to look at whatever was making her skin crawl. [break][break]
Oh. Of course. This was one of the only things that could ruin her evening- Blue Roses. In specific Stella and Matilda, two Intermediate ranking Magic Knights she served alongside with, but with whom the ex-model never got along with. They were both lesser nobles, but raised with an attitude towards commoners that could make a daemon question their humanity. Rosalia rolled her eyes and turned back forwards, facing the bar as a chain of curses littered her lips before she leaned her head back and chugged the rest of the cherry liquor. She poured herself another cup as she heard the footsteps approaching the trio from behind. [break][break]
“You sure you haven’t mistaken your spot at the bar, low-bred?” Ah and so the snide remarks began. [break][break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Zaven could toast to those things, and with a happy smile he was more than happy to gently clink his glass against the others before drinking his glass in one full go. He held the alcohol there for a moment until the burn would cause him to open his mouth and sigh with relief as he sucked in a cool breath, activating the acidity and active ingredients in the booze which would make it burn the back of his throat and warm him as it traveled down his throat. Lydia started off the conversation with the trio as he poured another drink for himself, it was not that he was actively trying to make himself drunk, but he did take the drink in like it was water anyway so hey, what the hell ever right? Listening to the two talk he received a nudge as Rosalia talked about the Hollow nest and he could not help but let a sly grin spread across his face before he took another drink to mask it. He remembered that night as if it were yesterday, and he licked his lips after the drink when Lydia responded to his little light jab he gave a chuckle...it was all in good fun anyway. ”I have been crawling through dungeons and moving through the desert, also exploring some long forgotten lands...the Black Bulls seem to be like a second home for me, and the liquor of choice is whiskey, brandy, and some wine and specialty drinks from Raque and Kikka..” A familiar presence behind him, was that...malice? He gave a chuckle and turned, expecting to see the Purple Orca and a few friends, but was instead met with the sight of two more women, Blue Rose mantles adorned their shoulders as Rosalia took a drink and they said something rather shitty. [break][break]
He did not give any of the women a chance to continue as he stood up, no fear inducing aura, no heavy gaze, just some lighthearted happy face he showed when aloof like he was usually. ”Ladie...no wait...that is a term reserved for women that are dignified...last Rose, besides the two fantastic specimen behind me of course, I met was just that...a lady...you two are well...I can tell you I wouldn’t let any men in my squad if they slept around with you two bimbo’s that is for sure. So how about the two of you thorns get the fuck away from me and my friends here and find some other people to occupy your time with. Rosa, I do believe you mentioned that when the Blue Rose first found out I was taken...you said they wept and lamented that they were not fast enough. I bet these two were the worst weren’t they? Even if I was single though...these two don’t hold a fucking candle to you Rosalia. You either Lydia, sorry if that sounded offensive. So go on...shoo.” Zaven told the little girls to bugger off as he sat back down. Of course, if they didn’t he might show them something to make them afraid, but for now he did not need to do so. They were insignificant in his eyes.
[attr="class","florencetext"] The crimson lion vice captain would lean on the side of the bar as she listened to the other two mages speak. It was nice to just relax and have a few drinks maybe the whole bar. Sure it wasn't the best start of the night with that Purple Orca mage but surely the rest of the night would be just fine. Well Lydia would find out shorty that wasn't going to be the case. It seemed the ice mage wanted to toast to a twist of fate which was something the glass mage didn't fully believe in however she would join in anyway. I suppose it's common to believe in fate. She was interested in Zavens comment about the black bulls base feeling like a second home to him now. After all she had never saw him any of the times she stay there herself but it has been a while since she last visited. The bulls are good company and great host I use to visit them a lot myself. However it seems most of my time in another magic knight base has been with the green mantis. The crimson eyed mage would then turn to face Rosa as the women asked about the well dungeon Lydia went on with Artemis they were the first to magic knights to explore it and as far as Lydia knew the only one. That we did it was an experience both good and bad at times. I don't know if the corruption of that well will truly every go away but we put the women's spirit to rest and the towns people are safe to drink from it now. As the choices of alcohol were listed the pink haired mage would think over them for a moment. [break][break] Well if the wine happens to be my families I'll take a glass of that otherwise whiskey will be fine. Sadly it seemed that two blue rose mages would come along and try to ruin Rosa's night which by turn would ruin Lydia's.The vice captain would then speak in elvish something she tended to do when she got angry and didn't want others to know what was said.Whime pole-'t nórë faila lende us i fuck er.The golden dawn mage was the first one to speak to the women so Lydia would place a hand on the black bulls vice captains shoulder. It doesn't matter what they think. So what you were born as a commoner that doesn't mean anything after all your a vice captain and yet those to are lower nobles and there strength is laughable. [break][break] As the Zaven finished speaking Lydia would stand up herself looking at the two blue rose mages. She had a little more leeway than the Zaven after all he was held to a higher standards as the captain of the golden dawn while she was only a vice captain and it was well know the lions loved to fight. She would then place her left hand on her sword which Zaven would recognize and perhaps even Rosa would as well after all it did belong to Silas. Lydia of course didn't plan on using it just yet it all depended on the two blue rose mages. Well Zaven there is no way for that to not sound offensive towards me but it's fine everyone has different taste. Now then you two I recommend you listen to the golden dawn captain I'm not as nice as him. So if you don't get the fuck out of my sight I'll break your patella bones which are very hard to heal. There are maybe ten mages in the kingdom who could actually healing them correctly and I'm one of them. Lydia would wait for the two women to leave before sitting down if they left that is. If not things were about to get painful.

Rosalia was used to many things when it came to the Blue Roses. She was surprisingly neutral with most of them, but there was still those that loved to get on her nerves about different things. Whether it was the age at which she’d become a magic knight, her previous occupation or even her family condition, or lack thereof. Flora and she were both witches, but Flora’s magic had always been complex, rare and graceful. Her wind element was basic, and her ice, while more complex, still didn’t scream “grace,” especially based on how she used it. The beauty could never really understand why people felt the need to tear other people down in their free time. Most nobles were like that and it was unfortunate. Couldn’t the skinny bitches behind her mind their own business for once in their amazing lives? [break][break] The ice witch was about to glance back and respond as politely as she could muster, but Zaven and Lydia spoke up first. The Blake turned around and, despite his lighthearted tone, proceeded to tell the Blue Roses that they didn’t deserve to be referred to as “ladies.” Ironic considering how often Rosalia had to remind Zaven that she wasn’t, indeed a woman of that title. As he continued to read Matilda and Stella to filth, the Vice Captain of the Black Bulls poured herself some more cherry liquor, nearly dropping the bottle when he said that he’d never let a mage into his squad if they’d slept with somebody like them. The beauty turned to look at the leader of the Blake family, wondering if he knew what he was saying, before remembering that Zaven Blake, well, unlike most nobles, gave no fucks about his reputation. He reminded her more of a commoner than a noble with his carelessness. [break][break] When Rosa was referred to in context to the women who’d had crushes on the Shadow of Dawn, she paused for a second before nodding. Matilda and Stella were indeed crushed that the very handsome and single leader of the Blake family had gotten engaged. They were even ready to barge into Rosaria’s room with torches at some point had Captain Lazuli not gotten wind of the ridiculousness of the situation. It was a dumb moment in Blue Rose history that would be better off forgotten. [break][break] A little blush dusted Rosalia’s pretty pale cheeks when Zaven finally said that the pair of Blue Roses didn’t hold a candle to her and Lydia. He was being very kind. The Crimson Lion to her other side than placed her delicate but powerful gloved hand over Rosalia’s shoulder, attracting her attention towards her. Her tone was gentle, and it seemed as though her words of encouragement were meant for her and only her comfort. It was a pleasant surprise from the lioness whose reputation of harsh and unyielding preceded her, but perhaps, because the two women weren’t as close, it had come as something new. Once her best friend was done speaking, Lydia would finally get up to give the Roses a piece of her own mind as well. [break][break] The Ice witch’s blush darkened when it showed that Zaven’s interests in her had become obvious to Lydia. Well…he was great sex, what was the red-head supposed to say in such a situation. She decided to keep quiet for her own sake. The Vice Captain of the Crimson Lions then bluntly threatened to hurt Stella and Matilda, which made a few people around the bar gasp openly. Rosalia even jumped up from her seat nervously. [break][break] “Now there’s no need for violence, I’m sure Zaven and you were very clear in your initial message.” The beauty laughed nervously before politely grabbing the two bitchy roses by their shoulders, turning them around and pushing them out of the bar. They both looked ready to cry from the Shadow of Dawn’s words, but the Light-Speed Paradox had made them go as white as snow. Emotional and physical attacks…hmmmm. The two mages she called her friends and allies were definitely smarter than most people gave them credit for, despite their titles. [break][break] Once she’d pushed the Roses out the beauty paused for a few seconds before turning towards Lydia and Zaven at the bar. “Well fuck me,” She laughed, earning the full male attention in the bar unwittingly. It was the last thing she cared about however as she heard that Purple Orca male mutter “I would if you’d let me,” under his breath. It made her turn to him and give him a wolfish grin before she sat back down between her friends and chugged her entire cup of cherry liquor down in one go.
“Man you two…this evening just gets better and better doesn’t it? Next time I have to go to Rague can I bring you along as my personal bodyguards?” Her laugh was like bells upon the air, and it echoed around the bar as she spoke loudly and freely. This was the Rosalia of the Black Bulls that had become a danger to all single men the moment she’d gotten back from the Witches Forest. A woman who never wore a wishbone where her backbone ought to be. [break][break] She poured herself a glass of rhum. [break][break] “I would like to raise a toast, to having your company!” She was like a little whirlwind of energy, high on her friends, the alcohol and the familiar atmosphere of being completely free at a bar. [break][break]
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Hraban tagged along with Zaven but did not really make himself known around the bar until the Purple Orca said some stpid shit when Rosalia was walking back, the spirit then materialized and made the Purple Orca spill his ale all over the front of himself just down the bar before becoming one with the shadows again and coming to Zaven’s side as Rosalia was comic back, standing at his shoulder and telling him through simple signs of what the spirit just did and Zaven had to stifle laughter. [break][break]
[break][break]
When Lydia and Rosalia soon after joined in he could see the sheepish Blue Rose girls finally back away and he took his seat with a grin as he stated he did so. The brandy was of course making him a brave man, any fan of the drink would know that the deeper into the bottle one went the more brave...or stupid they would become. He did not hear Rosalia’s comment as she walked back towards the group as he was answering Lydia’s comment. ”If we had any of the Ravencrest wine I am sure I would have bought up the stock by now...been trying to reconstruct it for a while now.” The Shadow of Dawn said as he drank the brandy rather brazenly as the above piece happens. When Rosalia came back and downed her glass before speaking, Zaven was already pouring another glass for her as he gave a grin. ”I think if I am ever seen in Raque again I better bring that bar some more Yul to pay back what I did last time I was there…I only party in the worst way. He says with a grin before noticing the redhead pouring another glass of rum herself which made him blink. He didn’t care as he held up both glasses when she offered up another toast. ”The best company in the kingdom I am sure of it.” He would toast to it, and as soon as Lydia he would join in before clinking his glasses together, and then to theirs before drinking both glasses in one go as he felt the liquor mix in his mouth before he swallowed it, stinging his eyes a little as he exhaled a satisfying sigh. ”So what is up next, am I going to have one of my past disturbances come to get me, or maybe a bard will come in and we have to toss a few coins at him to get him to leave...heard those bastards hang around monster hunters. Zaven was being a bit more aloof than usual as he looked at the two ladies beside him. He was happy to be there.
[attr="class","florencetext"] The black bulls vice captain would step in before it came down to blows. Well blows was being to nice to the blue rose mages as they wouldn't have been able to keep up with Lydia's speed and the fight would have ended just as quick as it started. Perhaps there isn't but actions work better than words at times. As Lydia sat back down Zaven's spirit wouldn't go unnoticed the lionesses but she wouldn't make mention of it. She had no interest in spirits and they had none in her after all it was well known that mages with two elements couldn't gain one. She would of course listen to Zaven as he spoke about the wine not being her families wine which was sad but couldn't be help. Well I'm sure if you enjoy our wine so much that you'd by the whole bars stock the Blake family could offer something to trade for a steady supply of it. [break][break] Who knows maybe your family might even be able to get the more exclusive ones that aren't sold to bars. The crimson lion vice captain would let out a small sigh. If I knew it was going to be such an eventful night I would have brought the wine made just for me. As the ice mage asked her question Lydia would just shake her head. I tend to avoid Raque unless I'm visiting my brothers church so I'd make a terrible body guard. As Rosa offered a toast the glass mage would use her magic to make a glass before pouring some whiskey into it and joining the toast before drinking the whole glass in one go feeling the familiar burn. While the Ravencrest heir preferred wine she was no stranger to whiskey as it was her second drink of choice but she didn't get it often as she was prone to drinking to much of it to fast for anyone's good. [break][break] Well lord Blake if one of your past disturbances does happen to show up I hope you brought enough money to pay for a new bar. As for the bard I'm sure we'd have enough coin to get them to leave us alone. The pink haired mage would pour another glass before closing her eyes and clearing her mind as she waited to see what would happen next.

Rosalia blinked and giggled as she saw Hraban appear besides Zaven and land on his shoulder. She was too busy pouring her drink to notice what the spirit had done, so she reached over and scratched under his chin with one of her manicured peachy nails. [break][break] “Well hello! Looking as cheeky as ever.” The beauty stated with a grin as she gave the birdie her attention for a brief minute. She spaced out as Zaven and Lydia talked family business, and distracted herself with more rhum and cherry liquor. She had a horrible sweet tooth, even when it came down to alcoholic drinks. Of course, she could also enjoy a perfectly smooth cocktail like the ones Malcolm had ordered the first time they met. Come to think of it, two of her best friends owned breweries…three if she counted Lydia as close as well. They didn’t see one another as often as the two Captains, but that didn’t mean she was any less reliable.
[break][break] A little smirk curled over Rosalia’s glossy lips as Zaven said he only parties in the worst way. She could, for better or worse, fully relate to the black-haired Blake. She smiled at Zaven’s glass, giving him a brief apologetic look. She was high on adrenaline and hadn’t noticed his gentlemanly action.
[break][break] “Then maybe we should party together more often, because the worst way sounds like my way.” She gave him a little wink, almost tempted to reach over and have him share that glass with her. The beauty tipped her head back and drank her alcohol happily. At this rate she felt sorry for the barkeep. The three Magic Knight were dangerous drinkers.
[break][break] Rosalia tilted her head when both of her friends denied going to Rague with her. “Wait, Lydia you have a brother?” The beauty was puzzled. She’d never heard of another child form the main branch of the Ravencrests. Then again her knowledge wasn’t perfect. “Wasn’t Nairn the center of church activity in our kingdom?” The ice witch rose a crimson eyebrow. She’d had a decent amount to drink already, but she was very much sane and capable of recalling the basics of each city she had to defend.
[break][break] “Curious as to why they’d shack up in Rague of all places too…” It was clear for a second that the Black Bulls’ Vice-Captain didn’t particularly care about the religious organizations in the kingdom. They’d always been out of reach to her, and couldn’t really make her believe in what they’d said. Their religion was pretty stories and myths for her education. That was all.
[break][break] “What are the relations between the Church, the Noble Families, The Magic Knights and the Kingdom anyways?Any tension there?” She finally asked the pair of upperclassmen after a brief period of silence as she reached over and casually poured the Blake a glass of her rhum. She stopped as she was about to drag the bottle over to Lydia’s glass, before noting that the Vice-Captain probably wouldn’t be into such drinks, and pouring herself a glass instead. Her gaze sank into Lydia’s red gaze and she tilted her head to the side curiously.
[break][break] “Is the wine that weak, am I too far gone, or do you not look drunk at all Miss Lioness?” Rosa joked as she took another drink of her rhum, even moving to clink her glass playfully against the wineglass of the pink-haired female.
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] Listening to Lydia he nodded and gave a smile as the little Shadow spirit went up to Rosalia and smiled as he was paid attention to from the beauty. He sat on the shoulder of the woman as he did not want to get too engrossed in the affairs of Zaven but the scent of the booze drew the spirit’s attention. It pointed at Rosalia’s drink as Zaven and Lydia continued for a moment, it did not need to drink, but it wanted to taste it. [break][break]
Zaven nodded as he found that if the Ravencrest just wanted to sell the wine that badly he could export it of course, but also find a way to replicate and perfect on its already terrific taste. He gave a nod as she commented that she would like to have some of that wine now but it seemed the bar was out of stock for once, the Crimson Lion did not mind as she was already pouring a glass of whiskey stating it to be one of the drinks she was familiar with. ”That is all well and good, I will have one of the attendants in Naxel’s branch to take care of that deal and I will begin stocking some, unless they work out some sort of exporting deal...who knows...business deals are often discussed with individuals of a different caliber than ours. As for you Rosa...I would be happy to go with you to Raque any time and we can party together anytime you wish. Just give me enough warning to get some drinks made for the event.” Zave gave a slight chuckle before catching that wink of Rosa’s and flashing her that signature smile of his quickly from behind the glass. Afterwards he set the glass that they had now both drank from right back in front of her, the markings of their lips imprinted on the exact same spot. Then the two women began to talk to each other as that Purple Orca from across the way ordered Zaven a rather difficult to drink piece of Alcohol; it was called the The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, served above a glass of some of the worse swill the bar had, the combo was a sure way to loosen any woman’s pants and a sure way to cause someone to blackout if they were not careful. Little did the people present in the bar, including Rosa, know was that Zaven had been drinking since he was seven and had built up quite the tolerance for it, but he also knew when to let his will lose...such as when he demonstrated when he got the Black Bull, Charles and himself on an expedition. [break][break]
Cheers pal, it is good to see that even after losing out on drinking with probably the most beautiful women in the kingdom...you are willing to let bygones be bygones.” Zaven held the drink and shot up and watched as the Purple Orca and his friends all raised their glasses and snickered. The barkeep had a mop bucket and mop ready...the last time this little trick was played on a noble he had to clean up vomit from places he never thought vomit would go. He then looked to Rosa and Lydia. ”Perhaps Rosa is right...you don’t look too unphased by the drink yet, wanna take this on with me...I am sure our good friends from the Purple Orca’s over there are on the up and up.” He would say as Hraban would sit on Rosa’s shoulder.
[attr="class","florencetext"] As the talk of bisnuess kept going the crimson lion mage would listen to what Zaven said however she didn't know the name of the person he spoke about. She never had interest in these kinds of dealing but she also wasn't one to let a opportunity like this one to pass by. It would more than likely exporting deal after all I'm sure the Blake family could use more than just the wine perhaps some of the items we make and I'm sure we could use some goods you have. However I'll leave that up to my mother as she deals with those kinds of things. Lydia would then turn and face the black bull vice captain as she spoke about not knowing she had a brother. Yes I have a twin fraternal brother I guess I never really did mention it. As for the church question no we have churches in every major town. If anything the capital is where the main church activity takes place as the cardinals live here. [break][break] Lydia would then take another drink of whiskey before answering the next question. Well in my family there are two common live styles we live one of being a magic knight which is what I picked or the option my brother took the political side of thing. He joined the church to further his reach in the political game and due to the fact he's big into the church. As for why Raque it's a town in the noble region which belongs to the spirit he worships and being there let's him meet more noteworthy nobles than most other churches he could have gone to. As Zaven spoke to Rosa again given the complement to her the glass mage would just let out a sigh. She wasn't offered after all she had to desire to be the most beautiful women in clover. [break][break] It was more of the fact she was tired of the flirting. They both knew they were interested in each other she knew it and anyone who was worth a damn and the bar most likely knew it as well. She would then answer the ice mages question. It takes more than one glass to get me drunk as for the whiskey I'm drinking now it could be stronger. Lydia would then tap her glass with Rosa's before downing the rest of the drink. It seemed the purple orca mage would order the shadow of dawn a pretty strong drink most likely in the hopes of getting him drunk. It seemed that Zaven wanted to get Lydia drunk as he asked if she wanted to take on the drink with him. It's been a few years since I've had one but why not. [break][break] As the bartender gave the vice captain her own Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Lydia would tap her glass with Zaven's before downing the drink and letting out a cough as it burned her throat. Well it's still as shitty as I remember. The pink haired noble would then take out her pouch of coins throwing it onto the bar. Well mister bar owner I think that should before enough money for everyone's drinks for the rest of the night. Oh and give the purple orca mages The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse if you'd be so kind. Lydia would then pour herself another drink before pulling out a cigarette from her pack and lighting it. After taking a drag she would send a message to Claire asking the other women to bring the two bottles of wine Lydia kept in her room. The women agreed but it would take a few minutes so for now all the glass mage would do was sit back and wait.
