Rosalia’s smiled at Hraban and reached over to gently scritch the crow-like spirit under the chin. She found spirits truly fascinating, and she’d only seen two before this one: Abraxas, Vulkan’s spirit, and Isabelle’s spirit whose name she’d never really managed to catch. The two had never really communicated with her too much. It was why the ice witch found Hraban so fascinating. He always made Rosa want to snuggle him and take care of him as if he was some sort of pet cat. The beauty had always respected mana beasts, and spirits even more-so, therefore she’d never actually act on the impulse of squishing, but still scritch affectionately. When he pointed at Rosalia’s drink, the beauty would raise her glass up for it to try. It was a sweet alcohol, rather potent, but she hoped it liked it. [break][break] “Drink carefully buddy...” She said with a giggle. “The stuff is kinda strong.” [break][break] Her ruby gaze did wander back to the conversation when she heard a familiar name pop up though. Ah…Naxel Blake. The goofiest boy she’d ever met. She could never really pin him down. Was he a cocky piece of shit or n actual sweetheart with bad communication skills? Rosalia shook her head as she recalled their most recent mission together but kept quiet. She wasn’t a business person. [break][break] Zaven agreed to go to Rague with the ice witch, and shot her his signature handsome smile, making her roll her eyes playfully. “Looking forwards to it.” Her laugh was melodic and soft, carrying through the tavern. Her comfortable expression changed over to one of curiosity as Lydia took her attention away, explaining her family relations to her. A fraternal twin sounded…hot. The ice witch would keep that thought to herself and simply nod as the religious system was explained to her. [break][break] Her eyebrows jumped when it turned out that the church was the political choice…there was no way. That seemed so fucking impossible to connect in her mind. “But…Lady Ravencrest…The Magic Knights hold both political and military power, do they not?” She looked over at Zaven in confusion before back at the pink haired female. Was she missing some piece of religious or crown history here? It was then that Rosalia decided to go to the Grand Magic archives and research tomorrow before heading back to the Bulls. A little addition to her personal agenda. [break][break] Her attention then went back to Zaven. He earned himself a little soft smile when he called her and Lydia the most beautiful in the kingdom. A soft blush dusted her cheeks as she wondered how to respond. It was a powerful compliment, and she half-expected to get attacked about it at some point when rumor of the Golden Dawn Captain’s words spread around the kingdom, but…modeling was her job for years. When she heard the Ravencrest sigh, however, the Black Bull Vice-Captain realized that she hadn’t understood. A playful spark ignited her eyes as she reached behind Zaven and tapped Lydia on the shoulder. “He meant both of us…that was a multiple.” Her cocky grin covered her glossy lips as she winked at the Lioness before pulling her hand back. [break][break] When her friends seemed to get some horribly hard cocktail drink…Rosalia raised an eyebrow and decided to cross her arms over her chest and watch them. “That uh…looks pretty horrible you two…you sure you wanna drink that?” She asked, watching them both not back down from the challenge. The beauty simply joined them with her cherry liquor, chuckling a little. [break][break] A little idea popped up in her head suddenly, as she glanced over the inhabitants of the bar. Perhaps even Lady Ravencrest would be interested. A ferocious grin spread over her lips before vanishing just as quickly. She decided to keep the deck of cards she always carried around with her as a gift back in her pocket. [break][break] “So what’s next for you two…any clue what the Wizard King has in store for us?”
[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] ”I mean I have partaken in much...much worse.” He said as he took the drink just fine and finished it all. Hearing Lydia finish hers and leave a comment before ordering the offenders a round of the same was just karma rearing its head at the ones trying to get a rise out of them, and then there was Rosalia that had to back up his words about calling them beautiful at first, then asked if they would be ok after the drink. Zaven was already pouring himself some of the wine now as he gave a soft sigh. ”That was not...so bad, it was more just like drinking moonshine if anything, I would not recommend it as a leisurely drink, but all in all...not horrible.” He said with a shrug as the Purple Orca and his buddies all took one drink of it before two of them passed out, and then one spewed the drink all over the counter, with the final one...the one that was humiliated straight up refused to drink it. [break][break]
Hraban took a sip from Rosalia’s glass and then another, before the little spirit actually drank all of her glass in seconds. It then looked up at her, and a toothy grin would appear from under that raven mask. The spirit seemed to be unphased by it all and even was wanting a bit more, but it did not say so. Instead it just gave her a little thumbs up before looking at the Purple Orca’s group as they failed to be men. ”Lion...more….strong?” He pointed at the group, asking if Lydia was stronger in that usual chopped speech way of his before using its own shadow mana to meld with the shadows cast over the bar where it would then push the drink into the cowardly Purple Orca’s hand. [break][break]
Zaven heard what Rosalia ended with as he took a sip of the wine and thought about it for the moment. ”I was told to find a Vice Captain...so that is probably my next step before I continue on with my own agenda...I have a couple people to find...other than that the Wizard King has been awfully quiet as of late.” Zaven said as he took another sip of his drink. He of course had some reports of supposed daemon activity and he was sure they did too considering their rank, but he was not about to talk about that openly in the present company they found themselves with and at odds with at times. ”So what about you two?”
[attr="class","florencetext"]The pink haired mage would listen as Rosa asked her next question. It was understandable that not everyone knew the church held political power as well it wasn't something really talked about to much. Yes the magic knights do hold political and military power which my family benefits from since I'm a vice captain. However the churches cardinals or advisors to the king which in turn gives the church a lot of political power if I had to guess knowing my brother he's aiming for one of those spots. It seemed that the vice captain had misunderstood the Blake's words as the ice mage would point out. Thank you for the complement Zaven but I disagree with being one of the most beautiful women in clover. Lydia had no desire to be one either because at the end of the day it didn't make her a better knight or help with the her job so there was really no need for it and she didn't care a whole lot about looking the best in the room. [break][break] The black bull vice captain asked if the two other mages truly wanted to drink what was ordered for Zaven and would soon find out as they in fact drank it. The golden dawn vice captain would be the first to speak afterwards saying he'd had worse comparing it to moonshine. Just because it doesn't get you drunk right away doesn't mean it's taste any better. Her gaze would shift to the group of purple orca mages who took there own drinks well most of them anyway and it didn't turn out to good for them. The spirit would then talk to the glass mage in a choppy kind of way but Lydia was able to understand what it was asking. If you are asking if I'm stronger than them when drinking yes. If you mean in some other type of way you'll have to be a little more detailed. [break][break] The red haired mage then asked what they thought the wizard king had in store for them and the shadow mage was again the first to answer talking about finding a new vice captain. It's hard to say but if you mean as a whole I'd go with preparing to deal with the next deamon threat. It was then Lydia would sense Claire entered the bar the white haired mage as she quickly made her way over to the three high ranking knights handing Lydia two bottles of wine one of which had her named engraved on it. "Here is the win you asked for. Drink as much as you'd like Lydia I'll deal with the paperwork in the morning but don't get to drunk that you can't get back to the base. I'm not coming to carry you back." Thank you Claire and I'll keep that in mind wouldn't want to get stuck somewhere over night. Claire would then smile and bow at the other two knights before turning to head back to the base. Lydia on the other hand would turn and face the other two magic knights holding out the bottles. So which do the two of you want to try first? The one with my name on it is just as old as me a gift from when I was born yet it some how taste older. The second one is nothing super special just one of the more exclusive types of wine my family makes.

Rosalia smiled when the Blake said he’d done much worse when it came to drinking. She didn’t doubt him. He, like Malcolm and Lydia, were in the business of Alcohol, hell they probably had a secret alcohol hierarchy that she didn’t even know about. Maybe there was a kingdom competition of the best alcoholic drink produced that year? Rosalia’s mind wandered off to the set of hundreds of possibilities when it came down to her friends…downright going off into conspiracy theory territory for a bit before chuckling to herself and shaking her head. She blamed the cherry liquor. She nodded when Zaven explained that the horrible looking drink from earlier tasted like moonshine. The beauty had tried the drink a few times but it had never really stuck to her taste buds in a positive manner. [break][break] “Mmm…don’t worry, even when trying to get drunk I watch the stuff that goes down my throat.” She commented off-handedly before glancing back at the set of men from the Purple Orcas that had given her friends the cocktails in the first hand. They were struggling with their own, ordered by Lydia, and Rosalia shook her head. While she was watching the spectacle of male failures the ice witch barely noticed when Hraban had finished her glass of cherry liquor. Once she turned back to it she blinked before looking at the culprit and raising an eyebrow at him. It was grinning at her toothily. “Well aren’t you a naughty boy.” She joked as she poured herself another glass of cherry liquor before nodding at Hraban’s question. [break][break] “Yes, the Lioness is very strong.” Rosa answered simply, giving the creature a little smile and taking a sip as Hraban vanished from sight. What was the trickster up to now? [break][break] The witch listened to Lydia explain the system of political power to her and nodded, tilting her head to one side as she learned that the woman had a brother. It was interesting. The Ravencrests were sinking their claws into both methods of political power…A little smile crept over her lips as she took a sip of her drink. She could always appreciate the ambitious. And clearly the Ravencrests were a family that had no interest in losing their political position in the Kingdom. She eyed Zaven, to see what his reaction would be to that as a Blake, while also recalling that he…in particular didn’t give much thought to nobility. [break][break] “Ooooh,” The sound left her lips before she realized when she heard that Zaven was looking for a Vice. The red-haired beauty’s ruby eyes turned to look at him and then at Lydia in order to engage them both. It was definitely an interesting topic. “Well, I’m excited for you, means you’d have someone reliable to hand work off to.” Rosa said with a little friendly grin, recalling the way she and her Captain tended to lock themselves in his office and riffle through hundreds of reports and papers to make sure they didn’t miss anything of note. “It’s even better if that person is your friend.” [break][break] Her two friends and she were distracted when someone else walked into the bar, handing Lydia two gorgeously ornate bottles, of what Rosa could only assume, was wine. They exchanged a few quick remarks which made the beauty giggle. “You have an assistant?” She asked once the white-haired woman had left. The Black Bull had never quite seen one in person. [break][break] “I have no real preference, whichever one you and Zaven pick, I’m down to try. I don’t understand much of wine, I’m afraid.” The Ice mage admitted before downing the rest of her glass. So what was in store for her? [break][break] “There’s the daemons…but there’s also been reports of unrest beneath the sea…I’m probably going to check that out.” Rosalia reported, a very gentle note of concern lacing her voice. She’d lived in Rague for a while and needed to get that checked out.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Zaven listened to the two of them for a moment...they seemed to know a lot of what was going on inside the kingdom. Of course he did as well, but he had domestic issues to take care of first, because the Golden Dawn was good and strong, but they needed someone else to help take the reigns...and there was word of an old acquaintance having shown back up...a lead on that fellow may be what he needs to get the squad what they deserve. ”Well it sounds like both of you have quite the adventurous times ahead. On the topic of wine a nice red is always the best, red can be sweet and offer some subtle undertones that make the palette...insatiably lust for more. It is why it is such a popular drink after all, but I prefer liquor instead because of the malleability of the liquid. Then again it could be because I am actually not that great at making custom wine...oh well alcohol is still alcohol so I am not worried.” Zaven said with a light chuckle as Lydia’s assistant showed up using some sort of spatial portal to deliver wine. It was a delight as always to have Ravencrest wine, but it was hilarious that the assistant was used for this. ”So how about that...we now have the delight of having some genuine craft wine that will probably knock us all on our collective asses. Let’s drink the other one, the one from your birth should be saved for special occasions only, I am sure it tastes amazing however. Zaven grabbed a couple of wine glasses from behind the bar and sat them in front of Lydia, he would allow her to do the honors since she brought the drink, and a clean glass was the best they could use in this situation so he hoped the barkeep was not too upset he reached behind into the man's workspace. [break][break]
Zaven would wait until the drink was poured until he spoke again, he was deep in thought about the words that were said that night. He was beginning to experience the euphoric feeling of a slight buzz at this point, so he was not by any means trying to push the envelope too hard. He did however, want to keep his head high because he was not going to be drunk under the table, with his cheeks feeling warm he would raise his glass when it was given, and wait for the toasts to start before speaking up. ”To our great adventures, may we find fortune, fame, and drink until our hearts, minds, and livers have had enough.” He would say in toast and look to the others, unless he was last in line...in which case he would drink.
[attr="class","florencetext"]Lydia would listen as the other two mages spoke to each other. It was most likely a good thing that Lydia wasn't currently drinking anything or else she might have spit out the drink at the other womens comment. While Lydia wasn't one to judge people it was defiantly not something she would have said out loud herself. As Rosa asked if Claire was her assistant the vice captain would just shake her head. No while she does help me with the paperwork at times and takes it over while I'm gone on missions she's not my assistant. She's more of a sectary for the squad. As the talk of wine started Lydia would nod her head in agreement. [break][break] I also prefer red wine but I can drink most alcohol as well. As Zaven spoke about once again finding a vice captain Lydia would lean forward a bit. So Zaven tell me who is this person you have your eyes on? While the glass mage was waiting for an answer she would reach into her pocket pulling out a cigarette as this was one of the new bars in the royal capital that allowed smoking inside. The deamons have been quite as of late which means they are planning something big but that's a talk for another time. As for the water temple matter I've heard about it as well and apparently my father owes the man leading the expedition a favor so he'll most likely volunteer for me to go as well. It seemed the other two mages were fine with drinking the wine Lydia normally drank instead of the one that was just as old as her. She would pour the three of them a drink before the golden dawn mage offered a toast which the pink haired mage would accept. [break][break] However it seemed the purple orca mages didn't know when to give up and instead of trying to get Rosa again they would shift to Lydia who would just let out a sigh. Since it's the alcohol talking I'll let it slide this time but I'm not interested in any of you so do us all a favor and stop wasting our time. However instead of stopping there it seemed they wanted to push there luck as the there leader placed a hand on Lydia's shoulder and kept flirting. The crimson lion mage wouldn't say a word instead she would simply slam the mans head into the bar knocking him down a moment before standing up herself. The remaining two mages would reach for there grimoires but Lydia would just shake her head. There is no need for magic other wise I might not hold back. I'll let you deal with the one on the ground Zaven. Lydia would then walk forward ducking under the punch of the second mage kicking his legs out from underneath him before knocking him out with another kick to the head before turning to the third mage.

Rosa smiled at Zaven’s cuteness and talk about wine. Personally, she didn’t enjoy the drink. It was posh, and she…was anything but. She liked her liquors, similar to the Blake. Whiskeys, cocktails, vodkas….anything but beer and wine. Beer was bad for the weight, and as an ex-model Rosalia still watched for herself. She lifted her mug of hard alcohol and clicked it with Zaven and Lydia’s wine glasses. [break][break] The beauty listened to Lydia talk about the daemons and the discovered the water temple, before cocking an eyebrow to one side. Her father was signing her up? That was…To the beauty who’d never had a family, it was weird. Shouldn’t one go to one of these dangerous places out of their own volition? She kept her thoughts to herself as she stifled a little laugh. The travel from the day had her exhausted.
[break][break] What further surprised Rosalia was that the Purple Orca mages seemed to switch targets from her to Lydia? It caught the beauty completely off-guard and she didn’t find Lydia’s violence necessary. Who in their right minds would mess with the Vice of the Crimson Lions? Perhaps the alcohol really had melted their brains. Fucking hell. The beauty really had just wanted a quiet evening of drinking, and this was just turning annoying.
[break][break] Bar fights weren’t her thing. And she wasn’t even asked for help by Lydia so she sighed and downed the cup in her hands before taking out a bunch of coin and placing it in front of the bartender.
[break][break] “I apologize for them in advance.” She referred to Lydia and the Orcas…probably Zaven too. Rosalia just wanted the good company, but this was rather ridiculous. The witch stood up from her place in the bar and gave the Orca’s a smile before stifling another yawn with her hands. Clearly everyone here needed to learn to hold their alcohol better.
[break][break] “Right, well, I’m leaving. This is too much excitement for me after a day of travelling.” She turned to Lydia with a little half-asleep grin. Guess the fatigue and the alcohol was taking an impact on the Black Bull mage, both her and Zaven would notice rather quickly from the way the ice witch’s voice suddenly drawled down.
[break][break] “I paid for us, so I’ll be off. I have a room at the Brown Tabby.” She did a little stretch as she moved to give Zaven a wink before offering the Lioness a smile. “See you at the water temple lady Ravencrest. Knock yourself out tonight.”
[break][break] And with that, the red-head sashayed out, not paying attention to the Purple Orca mages, going to the motel not too far off and going to take a hot shower before bed.

[attr="class","zavenreescroll"] He was asked who his eyes were on, who his target was...he just gave a simple smile and decided to not divulge that information. However, at that time he was one hundred percent sure who his sights were upon. Then he listened as the Crimson Lioness speak about the daemon threat and the water temple issue...those subjects he was very intimately interested in for his own personal reasonings...but he did not think that there would be a ranking officer of a Magic Knight Squad that would so openly talk about those things in public. However, there were those damn Purple Orca mages that just would not leave well enough alone, causing the Shadow of Dawn to let a sigh escape his lips. Then as Lydia turned to deal with one of the mages, Rosalia paid their tab and also explained that she was sorry for what was about to happen...even for Zaven as well, which made him smile for a moment. She then excused herself before telling the pair she paid and that she was heading for a spot not too far from there. The Purple Orca Mages looked interested, but Lydia was too far gone in whooping the asses of these poor men to see that there were two that left just before Rosalia did. Lydia then pointed to a Purple Orca and said he was left to him. Zaven shrugged as the man walked up, and with a single punch the Purple Orca was on the floor with a broken nose. Zaven wasted no time in looking back to see that Lydia would finish off her little brawl as he sighed. ”Thanks for the drinks Lady Ravencrest, I am going to take off as well...There might be a few more outside I am going to take care of.” He would say before dismissing himself. [break][break]
The Shadow of Dawn would follow the mana signature of Rosalia and notice the others that were hanging near her. He knew she could take care of herself, but...the Shadow of Dawn was not the type of man to just stand there and do nothing...so off into the night he went in search of the two stalkers.
