Trying to get himself back into the swing of things since coming “back”, Jett found himself constantly looking for things to do to keep himself busy. This usually consisted of helping out the lower ranked mages of the squad with the training, helping them tweak little things to be more efficient or make that spell just that touch more durable. It was a small thing in the grand scheme of things but the diamond wizard truly believed he would’ve hit a wall without the mentoring of Jagen, unable to get a hold of his own magic inflating its’s size, yet making it weaker as a compromise. He still didn’t feel like that mentor figure that Jagen was to him, though he also thought it was pointless trying to compare himself to a man that was now the Wizard King, surely a title the young captain could never attain. Still, his help was welcomed, if not by slightly surprised faces, as they nodded along to his pointers before trying to implement them with varying degrees of success. For the most part, Jett was happy with the progress of his pod of Orca’s, whilst not having any great stand out talents, as a unit they were solid and there seemed to be no bad eggs in the group. It was due to this that it came a such a surprise to him when reports start to flood in of mages wearing purple mantles were causing so sort of havoc in Aries Garse. Driven by the fear his squad hard cause trouble, especially in such trying times, the diamond wizard quickly called upon a spatial mage in the squad to open a portal to the gambling den of a town, fearlessly stepping through the pitch-black hole that had ripped through the dimensions of space.
The relatively calming and familiar noises of the Purple Orca base were replaced by screams of terror as he walked out of the watery black portal. Civilians ran towards Jett and straight past him, barely looking forwards as they concentrated on the monstrosities behind them that were charging as the civilians as best they could, however clumsily the ugly creatures were. A stone cold stare donned Jett’s face despite the flesh clad bone golems that ran through the streets on all fours, a sign of his battle-hardened history in the magic knights. Small fires had broken out as lanterns were knocked over in the chaos, smoke rising over head creating a dark, clouded roof over the streets. The pouch at Jett’s side was forced open as his grimoire lifted itself up and open, moving in front of the purple haired man, the pages rapidly flipping before coming to a dead stop and the tome shone brightly a cyan hue. ”Diamond Magic: Svalinn!” A flood of diamond dust would erupt from the pages of the grimoire, dancing through the air before swooping down and running along the floor towards the origin of the creatures. The stream of dust would suddenly fork at right angles, covering the width of the street before the dust would crystalize into solid diamond, putting a wall between the creatures and the civilians, giving the captain time to assess the situation.
Amongst the panic, Jett had yet to spot one of his mages and even with a more thorough search he couldn’t see them, but it wasn’t long before he understood his mistake. A hollow thumping could be heard, and felt, as a man dressed in dark purple robes pounded on the diamond spell, pleading to escape the wrath of the creatures he had summoned. With a shake of his head, and a guilty smile at the relief his squad wasn’t responsible, Jett readied himself to enter the fray, though he had no intentions of letting the cultist go, nor letting them die.

The teen had been in the Clover kingdom for three years now, having to deal with their idiotic and lazy monarch as well as the would-be king of wizards. Even now she didn't want to be in this pathetic excuse for a kingdom but given her appearance, she knew it would do her no good to return to her family, friends and the kingdom that she still held loyalty to. It wasn't that anyone could really blame her as she had been raised within the Spade kingdom and though it had been harsh at times given how the ruling party were like she knew she could have had it a lot worse if she hadn't been raised within the family she had been. Then again only a noble would have the arrogance and balls to kidnap a child not only of another noble family but a noble family from another kingdom. She still didn't believe she was born of the family she was currently residing with, it was hard to as for her entire life she was raised in another and knew nothing more than that besides it wasn't exactly like there was photographic proof. The family she grew up in had plenty of paintings and sketches of her as she grew, she remembers most of her birthdays and other special occasions with the people she called her mother and father as well as the idiots that were her tutors. Still, there was one thing that she couldn't deny, the man who called himself her elder brother had the same piercing blue eyes that she once had and still longed to have. It wasn't fair she had to endure this.

Over the three years, she had spent in the Clover kingdom she had excelled in most things she had tried but then when you are raised in a dictatorship you learned to do things right quickly and efficiently or the price was often high. Still, she had to be careful in what she did and even absorbed as much information as she could so she might be able to help her home kingdom when she managed to break the curse that was on her. It would seem that her elder brother had some sway and spoke to the captain of the Azure Deer to get her a place within their ranks. It was strange to the young woman that she was placed in the one squad that was known to do scouting and recon, it was below her in her mind but still, it would give her a chance to gain information so it wasn't all bad. It was then she realised why she may have been placed in this squad, her apparent cousin was one of the front runners for vice-captain. The leash wouldn't be as collar wouldn't be as tight and the leash not as short as if she was granted access to the Golden Dawn but it was still there in her opinion. She hadn't commented on the goings-on instead she had just rolled her eyes and agreed since she felt like she had little to no say on what was going on in her life since that stupid daemon had seemingly cursed her.

She had been told by her captain about a would-be cult in Aries Garse who if the reports were to believed were going to attempt summoning undead and terrorising the town, she was tasked with going to the town and seeing if there was any validation to the claims and report back. It was a simple scouting mission as her first real task within the group and though she didn't want to do it she knew better than to make Zaven look bad in front of his colleagues as he reminded her in part of those who held power in Spade. It was true he was calm at the best of times but when you use shadows you are more prone to see the darkness in people in her opinion and his darkness was more like a patient void waiting for its time to rip forth at the right time. She didn't want to be in that line of fire or anywhere near the vicinity when the bomb went off so to speak. She had yet to obtain a mode of transportation so it made things a little more tricky for the albino woman but as luck would have it she heard of others going in the general area and requested that the take her to the town she needed to. It was clear they were hesitant and the distrust they saw in their eyes didn't just annoy her but she felt the discomfort. She couldn't blame them the chances were if the shoe was on the other foot then she would likely have reacted the same way. It wasn't like she asked to look like a walking corpse but this was the hand she had been dealt. "I didn't ask for any of this so show some damned compassion because it could easily have been you or someone you love that ended up looking like the walking corpse." she semi snapped at them seemingly catching them off guard, they couldn't argue the fact, she was cursed and everyone she came into contact with knew it but it could have easily been any one of them and there was nothing stopping it from happening to them in the future.

After the small outburst, they agreed and were on their way although she still felt at odds with them as they chatted amongst themselves and she was left to feel like the invisible woman. It didn't bother her as she had found safety in her solitude since her fate was changed. Upon her arrival she was set down, they didn't even say a farewell before the group that brought her had left which made her shake her head and sigh. That was fine she wasn't here to make friends after all, though, their behaviour was the reason she didn't want to go back to Spade as if she was treated like this by people who didn't know her and it stung she could only imagine how bad it would be if people she knew and cherished treated her in such a way. She felt her stomach twist at the thought and could only shake her head knowing she couldn't think like that as it does her no good, every curse had to have a way to break it after all. She had begun to walk around without having even noticed it sort of lost within her own mind when she heard someone making her snap out of it and run towards the begging and sounds of battle. She had bumped into the running man who was seemingly still in a rush but noticed the diamond wall though didn't notice where the spell was being cast from as she ran after the man and quickly jamp kicking him square in the back causing him to fall forward onto the ground before sitting on him like a seat to prevent him getting up "I have questions and I believe you have the answers for them." she said her deep purple eyes looking at the man "So let's have a chat." her tone showed she was in no mood for dealing with this but it was kind of needed, she, however, would wait for the one created the wall as it was clear by the aura they were giving off they were likely a magic knight and well up within the ranks at that so they may require this information too.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
Jett’s strides forwards to his wall of diamond were purposeful and filled with confidence and perhaps a hint of swagger, he’d be lying to himself to say it didn’t feel good to be in amongst the action after being pretty much absent for the past few months. That feeling didn’t last long though, approaching the wall, Jett could see something happening on the other side but couldn’t fully make it out due to the refraction of the diamond, but he felt it. To say the Purple Orca wasn’t well versed in sensory magic was an understatement, in fact, he was quite renown for the versatility of his magic, but it was sensory based skills that he continued elude him, some of his contemporaries from his vice-captain days would even go as far as to call him magically blind. Still, despite this lack of skill, there was always one magic that he could feel all the way down into his very essence. It was enough to even cause the battle-hardened captain stopped in his track, breaking out in a cold sweat, his heart seeming to skip a beat as a cold sensation took a hold of him, as if death himself had taken a hold of the diamond mage. Beads of sweat ran down the bridge of his nose as he persevered, his walk noticeably more timid from before as he fought against the flight response his body was screaming out to him, brought on by the trauma he had faced at the hands of a nameless Golden Dawn knight almost a decade ago.
Just inches away from the wall, Jett composed himself, sticking out his chest as he made his final steps forward, the solid diamond wall turning into diamond dust in just the areas his body touched, allowing him to walk through effortlessly, the wall talking its solid shape once more after he’d passed through its boundaries. The diamond wizard found a dark-haired girl on the other side, sitting atop of the purple clad acolyte, a clear darkness emanating from her, or rather, her grimoire. However, like most blood users Jett had encounter’s with, it seemed she was an ally despite her sinister magic. His game face on, the captain projected the cool, calm and calculated appearance he expected of anyone of his rank. ”Thanks for the assistance, but we should be on the look out for more of his kind.” Jett’s grimoire glowing a bright cyan hue once more, his magic power slightly swell as he looked on at the chaos still being caused by the monstrosities in the area. ”Diamond Magic: Diamond Purgatory!” Diamond chains opened up from the ground beneath six of the creature, quickly wrapping around their limbs and pulling them to the ground. It did not quite stop the creatures but it certainly slowed them down enough for the remaining civilians to escape to safety. ”That should buy us some time. I’m Jett, captain of the Purple Orcas, I guess we’ll be working together on sorting out this mess.” Jett forced a smile as he extended his hands to the girl for her to shake, his body doing it’s best to pull back from the blood-mage but to no avail.
