Well it seemed that it was finally time for Chisana to get some experience doing another dungeon for once. He had after all done the Eldritch home Dungeon by this point 3 times, was even a guide for one of those runs for some group of new knights. He had heard of another Dungeon that was off in the Fringe, the land between Clover kingdom and the surrounding kingdom that was basically a wasteland filled with various biomes. The dungeon was called the The Ancient Tower of Quinteps, he hadn’t had much time to study up on the dungeon like he usually did but from what he had gathered from others was that it was obviously some old tower that seemed to have been reclaimed by nature completely surrounded by a dust storm that could cause you to get lost. [Break][break]
With that in mind Chisana prepared himself in his typical attire and items. Once he was ready he rechecked who he was suppose to be tackling this new adventure with and it seemed that it would be the other young Black Bull Charles. Chisana had seen him around the base every once and awhile and from gossip had gathered he was quite the slacker though he wasn’t sure how true that was anymore because after the Black Bull returned from Kikka it seemed that his interaction with the Daemons had caused some issues with the young man. Chisana was not privy to how much of a change or what had really happened to the young man but he made sure that he would do his best to not antagonize his comrade on this journey at least not till he knew the extent of the change.[Break][break]
Chisana awaited at the meeting place right at the Fringe where off in the distance you could see what looked to be a forever blowing dust storm, he had been informed that in the middle of that swirling mess was the place they were looking for.[Break][break]

[attr="class","glentext"] A new dungeon had appeared on neutral territory, a place known as the Fringe. A wasteland with different sorts of terrains. Charles had heard of the place before, but it was his first time ever coming there personally. This time he wasn't alone, he came all the way here with a fellow squad member, Chisana. That was waiting for his arrival in order for the two to enter the dungeon and clear it. It had been a while ever since the silver mage entered a dungeon, his first time was with two civilians who seemed to be aware of the existence of the dungeon within the Witches Forest. [break][break] Charles made his way to the meeting point where he was going to meet Chisana. He came prepared with several items that will facilitate clearing the dungeon. A sword that he found at some point, that was elegant like his magic opposite to his lazy and laid-back personality he usually demonstrated. A ring with strange and rare magic, which possessed properties he never saw before. A relic he was given by the mother of a girl back at Kikka in order to defeat the Daemons, but failed. For some reason, the ring still maintained its power even after leaving Kikka. So it will be wise to make good use and learn more about it. Known as the laziest man in the Black Bulls, his personality and attitude changed after going through hell back at that town infested with Daemons and filled with darkness it was hard to see. [break][break] Finally arriving at the Fringe, the silver mage spotted his fellow squadmate in the distance. Eventually reaching him, Charles greeted Chisana casually. "Yo. I didn't have you waiting for long, right?" He asked him, the young magic knight had a thing with arriving late to missions or meetings, he just didn't hope he left his fellow squadmate waiting for too long. "Anyway... I guess we can get started." It was the first time he did a mission with Chisana, so only time will tell how the two Black Bulls will handle the dungeon and the challenges it brings. This will be a good chance for the two to know each other and for the silver mage to get back to real action after what happened at Kikka. After all, he couldn't stay forever like that. [break]

Combat Summary
[break]TL;DR Charles arrives to the Fringe and meets up with Chisana in order to finally enter the dungeon. [break][break]Items: Magic Knight Mantle, Seer's Fate, Forgotten Heirloom
Chisana did not have to wait long before his squad mate showed up. Charles had grown since the last time Chisana had seen him, which would have been back at when Rosa fought for the Vice-Captain spot they hadn’t really spoken during this event but that would have to be the last time Chisana remembers actually being around the other Black Bull. “No, you are about right on time but I’m in no real rush it will just be the two of us.” Chisana said as he stood up from his waiting spot, looking over in the direction of the dust storm. “Since you are here now, I guess we can go ahead and head off towards our destination.” [break][break]
Chisana waved his hand gesturing for Charles to follow him as he begun the travel towards the dust storm in the distance. While the Young Shengxiao had thought that the storm was a bit off a ways it turned out that it was closer then they had expected, besides making sure to see that his fellow Black Bull was still behind him there wasn’t to much talking on the way there. There was even less talking once the storm hit them obscuring what way they were going, Chisana had to rely on pushing his mana out in a circle around them as they went to help at least keep them from walking around in circle which would only tire them wasting their time and energy.[break][break]
It wasn’t much but Chisana made sure not to go to fast or to slow for Charles making sure they didn’t leave each the others sight and during one particularly intense bit of the storm he made sure to grab ahold of Charles. He hadn’t heard of any creatures that would attack them during this part of the travel just that eventually they would somehow make it to the tower as long as they kept moving through the storm, it was like the dungeon was testing how much resolve they had to actually take part in the trial but that was just a hunch a theory of those who tried researching the reason why these things kept popping up around the world and why new ones came to be. How long had it been since they entered the storm, it did not feel long but Chisana was starting to sweat a bit, so it had to have been some passing of time. Even with this degree of heat and annoyance from the irritating dust and sand being kicked around, causing him to squint and stumble from time to time it wasn’t really enough to push him physically maybe it was just more mentally taxing to get through this obstacle.[break][break]
After some more travel the winds seemed to start to die down and the way was slowly becoming visible though that path was just more of being able to see a huge ancient tower seemingly reclaimed by lush green vines and foliage as if they were in a forest instead of the middle of a desert. It was a baffling sight to see after going through that dust storm, Chisana sighed just glad to have made it through that annoying part and began to look around the tower which looked to be made of stone. It took him a second but it seemed that the doorway had actually been covered itself by the vines and overgrowth, it was surprising to see that you actually had to force your way into the dungeon. “Maybe this dungeon really is all about determination and resolve if you want to complete it.” Chisana said out loud. “Most of the time it’s like a wide-open Maw of a giant beast.” He took an offensive stance with his gauntlets and began tearing through the vines.[break][break]

[attr="class","glentext"] As Charles met his squadmate Chisana and asked him if he had him waiting for long, in his reply he stated it wasn't the case and he was right on time. Chisana had a fair point, it's not like there was a major rush knowing that it was just the two of them going to the dungeon. "I see... Yeah, let's get this started." The silver mage replied to him and nodded, now that the two were here there was nothing else to do, but to get started with the dungeon. As his fellow squadmate waved at him to follow him, Charles followed right behind him. It was wise to be close to each other as the storm seemed to be unusual and the last thing the two black bulls needed was to get separated from each other. Staying close was the best option. Charles made sure to stay close to Chisana so neither of the two ends up wandering off by accident in the middle of the storm. The young magic knight helped Chisana with making a barrier with his mana. This is so they can still keep their sense of direction, otherwise, they might end up going to wrong way making the entrance to the dungeon much longer than anticipated, which was something someone as lazy as Charles didn't want at all. There wasn't really much talking from his part either on the way there, it was better for him to remain quiet and focus on getting to the entrance. [break][break] Charles remained wary at all times to make sure that he didn't go too far away from his fellow squadmate. It was their first time coming to a place like this, so he didn't know what to expect at the time. The storm also limited a good part of their vision, it wasn't the first time the silver mage had to deal with limited vision, and even if their vision was limited, it was compared to the darkness he had to face in Kikka, it was still rather annoying for him. This also left them wide open for possible attacks from mana beasts lurked in this area, even though he wasn't sure they were around places like this. He couldn't lower his guard, his experience back at Kikka made him become warier of his surroundings despite his laid-back attitude may often make it seem the opposite of that. [break][break] It seemed like sometimes passed, but due to the fact that they have been inside the storm for quite some time, it made him lose the notion of time. Charles was able to tell Chisana was starting to struggle a bit, he was feeling the same. The path there was more mentally draining than he previously anticipated. It was too late to turn back now or to take a break, their best choice was to continue going through the storm until they eventually arrive at the entrance of the dungeon. The entrance to the dungeon seemed more like a mental endurance test of sorts, a lot of people will usually get lost in a storm as big as this one, if the two weren't lost at that point that is, there was a lot of uncertainty on his mind. [break][break] Sometime later it appeared as the storm began to die down and their field of vision was improved. Charles was starting to get tired of being stuck in the storm, but judging the huge ancient tower in front of the two that was filled with vines as if they were in the middle of the forest. It seemed like they walked for quite some time since the place looked different. The good thing is that they went in the right direction and got out of the storm. Charles scratched his head and sighed of relief. The place looked abandoned and the entrance mostly devoid of life, as it was covered with vines. The silver mage deduced that the entrance was likely to be covered in vines. The two would have to force their way in, Chisana probably wouldn't mind doing that. "That's true... This place looks like it has been abandoned for years or even decades." As his fellow squadmate took an offensive stance with his gauntlets, Charles unsheathed his sword Forgotten Heirloom and began slashing the vines with his sword so the two can make their way into the dungeon. [break]TL;DR Charles greets Chisana and the two make their way to the storm. After sometime Charles arrives to the entrance of the dungeon with Chisana and uses his sword Forgotten Heirloom to slash through the vines and make their way into the dungeon. [break][break]Items: Magic Knight Mantle, Seer's Fate, Forgotten Heirloom
After some time Chisana and Charles were able to hack their way through the vines and enter the dungeon, just like Charles said earlier even here in this room was nature taking over the inner workings of the dungeon. It was like they had been transported into a swamp, complete with the annoying flies and unstable marsh-like ground. “You are right Charles, but then again just about every dungeon seems to have been around for longer then we have lived and some definitely longer then anyone currently alive.” Chisana mentioned as the air grew thick with humidity like trying to walk through water it was taxing and when compared to the dry, hot desert they had just traveled through it truly made Chisana wonder just what kind of magic or beings made these places. There were to many different theories as to way these dungeons appear the way they do and when they do, most think its just due to the amassing of a great amount of magic like with the eldritch home which was once a research building for the Magic Knights.[break][break]
As he walked through the swampy area Chisana’s foot slipped and landed in a squishy area, not noticing that it was quick sand he simply tried to pull his foot out of it thinking he had stepped into some mud. He was unable to pull his foot from the sand and this caused him to stumble into the sand more catching himself though now he had both legs caught in the sand. “Are you serious? Quicksand here in a dungeon. Well that’s a first for me how about you Charles?” Chisana called out to his companion hoping that he had not gotten stuck himself, though Chisana made sure not to panic as he had read about this occurrence from his many trips to Malcolm’s personal study. “I’m going to have golems get us out.” He said on the off chance that Charles needed help, so he casted Falcon and summoned 2 Int golems that were in the shape of giant falcons. As it came close to him he grabbed onto the legs and allowed it to pull him slowly up and out of the quicksand making sure to have it put him down on solid ground he watched as the other golem went to Charles ready to help him if his fellow Black Bull needed it. “I guess we need to really watch out step if there are quicksand pits here.” Chisana grumbled as he cleaned the sand out of his shoes and off his pants.[break][break]

[attr="class","glentext"] Floor 1, Room 1 [break][break] Sometime later the two Black Bulls were able to make their way through the vines and enter the dungeon. Charles right about his previous deduction, the place was indeed being taken over by nature. They were in a desert not long ago and they now found themselves in a swamp with flies flying around and an unstable ground where they could easily slip if they weren't careful. "It seems so yeah... It's the first time ever I've ever come to a place like this." The silver mage replied as the air around them grew thicker, which made him more uncomfortable, but it was expected. They found themselves in a swamp now, the unstable ground made it harder and annoying to navigate through. The thick air made it much harder to breathe, this made the task of going through the swamp more taxing, similar to how Charles and Chisana had to go through the desert before arriving at the dungeon. This raised some questions about the true origin of the dungeon, the outside, and insides of it were strange and the location to get there felt out of place to him. This was his second time in a dungeon, the last time he went to a dungeon located inside the Witches' Forest, it was quite challenging, but he managed to complete it with the help of other two citizens. Only time will tell if this dungeon how challenging this dungeon is compared to the previous dungeon. [break][break] Making his down the swampy area, Charles thought for a moment that his foot got stuck in the mud, which was expected after walking in a swamp for a while, but it still annoyed the Black Bull. "Ugh..." The silver mage tried to get his foot out of the mud, but even with his best efforts he found himself unable. "First time as well... Ugh, what a pain in the ass. He said, annoyed before turning to Chisana. He was considering using his flying construct to get the two out of there before Chisana said he was going to use his golems. "Got it." He nodded as his fellow Black Bull created two golems for the two to get out of the quicksand. He briefly looked up and using the vines seemed like a viable option to get out of, but using the golems was just fine. Charles climbed the golem and successfully got on top of it. "Yeah, what a pain in the ass... I hope this dungeon isn't just a massive swamp." [break][break] Room WC: 764/568 [break]

Floor 2 Room 1 Chisana proceeded up the only way he could see that was viable, climbing a set of limestone stairs that seemed to somehow be standing in such a desolate and ancient place. While the trip up the stairs was simply filled with a slip and stumble from the moisture on the rocks there wasn’t any trouble that to be seen though that didn’t put Chisana at ease in the slightest, if he had learned anything from the times of exploring and completing dungeons was that anything could happen and if you thought it wouldn’t it would most likely happen in the very next room. So keep your “at least it wasn’t this thing” to yourself and just stay on your toes.
Upon reaching the top of the stairs Chisana came pretty much face to face with a very red and very angry looking eyeball attached to something that looked like a strange snail mixed with a giant mushroom, apparently they were intruding on their territory and as all creatures did when they feel like someone was trying to take their space, the creatures started stirring. Chisana wasn’t sure what kind of attacks the creatures could do or would do but he wasn’t going to stick around and find out. Quickly he shouted to Charles who was still on the stairs, “Snail Mushroom creatures, hostile, 10 total.” He kept his warning short and to the point hoping that his fellow black bull would understand the problem and be able to defend himself as he came up the stairs. Chisana quickly casted two spells, Serpent and Man, summoning 5 JR golems with each spell. He dashed to the right of the creatures hoping to draw their attention as he ordered his 10 JR golems to quickly rush the creatures. He was aiming for them to at least take out half of the creatures while also defending Charles as he came up the stairs in case the other half of the creatures tried to attack him. “They are weak but seem to be more plant based then animal.” Chisana conveyed to Charles as he watched the creatures use roots to try and attack the young Shengxiao. Luckily his armor defended him from any damage as the roots of one of the creatures smacked against it.
“Let’s get through these guys and get out of this stinking hell hole.” Chisana called to Charles as the smell of the floor was finally starting to hit him, he could feel the crunching of bones under his feet as he moved away from the creatures.
WC: 427 | 768 Summoned 10 JR Golems, half attacked 5 individual creatures dealing JR damage to the creatures killing 5 of them. The other 5 golems are there to defend Charles from any attacks as he proceeds up the stairs.

Post by Hania Ravencrest✾ on Jan 11, 2021 18:25:59 GMT -5
Hania had been reading a lot, well that wasn't unusual for the teenage Ravencrest at all. It was what he preferred to do with his time as he found it soothing, also it allowed him to learn about a world long before his own time. There was another part of this though he hoped that it would solve some of the mystery as to what he had been going through all his life. He had found some things that lined up with what he had seen but it still made little sense at that was well before he was born, he had already hated the enigma that was his life and this hadn't been helping any, well, not unless you classed having more questions than answers as helping.
There was something that caught his eye however in the stack of reports and books on his studies table, picking it up he started to read over it quickly. He found out that there had been an old dungeon uncovered in the fringe somewhere between Clover and Diamond. "Doubt it will help me with answers for my own issues, but it would be a nice break I suppose." he said thoughtfully to himself as he stood up and went to get his mantle. This was just out of personal curiosity and it wasn't exactly like his family wasn't known, nor who he was as an up and coming model but still he knew something like this his mantle should be adorned to prevent confusion just in case.
He still hadn't gone to get his own personal broom as of yet but that was because he didn't really like flying, his philosophy was if people were meant to fly they would have been born with wings and so decided that he would just keep his feet on the ground where possible. He ordered a carriage prepared for his departure, while he waited he decided to have a cup of tea knowing it would be a while before everything would be prepared for his departure. This was because certain things needed to be in the carriage for his comfort and enjoyment, especially since he had let them know where they were heading and how he would be in the carriage for a good while due to it. The last thing any of them wanted was their young lord cranky especially when they may be sent to deal with the more entitled members of the family as punishment.
Hania wasn't much for this but it didn't really matter and he did appreciate their efforts to accommodate him which usually showed on special occasions and their families living comfortably in general. When the carriage was sorted he entered and off he went towards the location of the ancient tower of quinteps. Over the hours he had read what little was known about the place and played go against himself while drinking tea and having some snacks, due to concentrating on his game he hadn't realised how much time had passed until the carriage stopped.
"What's going on?" he asked the driver his eyes looking through the window of the glass "There's a sand storm, it's scaring the horses sir." the man said making the young heir get out of the carriage. "Thank you for taking me this far, I'll continue forward on my own." he said the man looked concerned but nodded "I'll go to a nearby village and return here around this time each day sir." he informed the teen who nodded "Thank you again, please take care of yourself." he said heading forward covering his eyes with his hand as he started to move into the blinding sandstorm that kept him from what he sought to explore. He knew he wasn't the first to be want to be within the ancient walls and there would be plenty more after him but for now, he was excited and curious. It was a gruelling walk but he finally got through the sand wall and was met with something he hadn't expected.
The place looked like ruins, as if nature itself was trying to reclaim it to hide the monstrosity that perhaps should have never existed in the first place. It was never a good sign to see such a thing but he guessed it was a just a testament to how old the place was. As he walked forward to the strange-looking tower he couldn't help but notice just how lush the area around him was "Perhaps there are some exotic flowers or something here." he couldn't help but say to himself as he continued forward making a note to explore the outside a little more on his way back.
Floor 1, Room 1:
Slowly walking into the ancient structure and down a short hall the white-haired male found himself inside a circular room, it was darker than he liked in all honesty, it made his skin crawl and if it hadn't been for the slithers of light that managed to enter via the cracks in the walls he'd have likely left then and there. He wasn't there under anyone's orders but out of sheer curiosity so it didn't matter if he about-faced and went the way he came. He did notice the heat in the room however and used his own mana to keep him cool preventing him from sweating at all, it would have been unseemly even in this place to have sweat stains, more so since he was wearing white. It was then he heard the running water and looked around the dimly lit room before looking down now noticing that his feet were in the water. "It's going to be one of those days I see." he said with a frustrated sigh as he moved forward.
He cared very little for the flies or mosquitoes buzzing about as he kept the air around him cold they avoided him as he moved forward towards a limestone set of steps and so deeper into the dungeon.
Moving deeper into the dungeon the sound of water seemed to be a distant memory but soon the scent of soil entered his nose making him look down once more. "This place can't make up its mind can it." he sighed trying to figure out if this was by someone's design or if it had happened naturally it was then he started to start sinking his eyes going wide. He could, of course, freeze the dirt around him but that was only a temporary solution. He was already hating this place and he had barely gotten inside. Near him, he spotted lianas and so grabbed onto one of them using it to pull himself out with relative ease. Moving to the top of the one he had used to save himself he crouched. "So don't trust the floor, good to know." he said to himself as he attempted to scout but the low light made it hard but he did make out a limestone platform of sorts, he would ask the spirit that was sleeping internally but the heat might have melted him.
knowing that lianas were nearby he decided to move down the one he was on, swinging a little before jumping onto the bottom step, he didn't trust the floor right now given what had almost happened. With that done he decided to go up the steps he was careful to check to see how sturdy there were as he had no intention of going tumbling to his death halfway up. Okay, that might have been an exaggeration on his part but he didn't want to get needlessly hurt if he could avoid it as he had no healing magic and no one other than the carriage driver knew he was there.
Floor 2, Room 1:
The stairs were slippery due to the moisture on him but he was an ice user so could run full pelt on ice without much issue so this was child's play to him. Feeling it getting warmer yet again he used a little more of his mana to chill the air around him, he didn't mind the warmth but he'd rather not deal with hot and humid if he could. It was when he got to the top he was met with something he hadn't expected, a dead enemy 'Seems like someone else is here.' he noted to himself and decided that it would be best to proceed with caution, the enemies didn't really bother him too much but the other person or people inside this place, that was an unknown factor that he wanted to be known as soon as he possibly could.
Crouching for a moment he took the time to look over whatever the hell was at his feet 'I see doctor Frankenstein worked here too.' thought to himself as he saw the mutated snail mushroom mana beast, it was hideous in his opinion but it was what it was. He saw a fight happening close by and decided that to find out who was fighting he would need to help them, one problem at a time after all. Pushing his hands towards the ground making an ice blue seal appear beneath him, creating three shards of black ice that came from it and moving quickly towards three of the snail mushrooms hitting them right in the head killing them instantly. While the black ice shards were flying forward the white-haired youth moved his hands out towards him, two runes appearing instantly, a few seconds later the started to fade and in their place was a large, clear ice shard though it had a black tint to it.
The shard would break quickly into three equal-sized ice shards with these he pushed his hand forward aiming for the spore-like shells but even as they hit it seemed to be a critical hit killing three more of the beasts. One of them seemed to be the same one the other had been fighting and so it was overkill. "Well, that was interesting." he finally said moving towards the unknown person but as he got closer even in the dim light he noticed a familiar face. "Well if it isn't Chisana Shengxiao of the black bulls." he said with a smile his left hand going to his chest while his right was slightly away from his body palm flat and forward towards the black-haired male bowing slightly. "Pleasure to see you again, are you exploring too?" he asked noticing that he was there alone. it was soon after he covered his mouth and nose smelling the foul stench of rot "What is that god's awful stench." he said looking around to see if he could put an ice block around it so his sense of smell wouldn't be assaulted any longer.

Chisana had heard someone moving up behind him and at first, he thought it was Charles because that is after all who he had entered the dungeon with but the voice and the magic that he heard, felt and saw was nothing like the magic he had seen from his fellow Black bull. Instead, it was Ice and sounded like another one of his comrades that he had meet while doing some research for an expedition into the jungle where they had to deal with the funness of temples and the exciting things that came along with poking and prodding one of those. It was Hania Ravencrest, the more book bound and diplomatic Ravencrest that Chisana knew. It was a sight to see when he was sure that his fellow Black bull had just been behind him, he was not sure how to feel about the sudden disappearance of Charles and the sudden appearance of Hania. “Well, I was exploring with one of my Squad members, but it seems he has disappeared. Though Luckily it seems that I have you as a fellow explorer for the rest of this trip, well I hope so that is.” Chisana said as he dismissed his golems that he had still summoned to provide protection for Charles as they ascended the steps. “You wouldn’t have had seen another person on your trip up here would you?” Chisana would ask though knowing that Hania had not mentioned seeing anyone he was sure some kind of weird magic was at play. The dungeon might have simply kicked the other Black Bull out of the area, he would have to follow up on that train of thought later, he needed to focus on the present.[break][break]
“Well, that smell is all the rotting corpses these creatures seem to be slowly eating.” Chisana would point out as he led the way into the next room.[break][break]
Floor 2 Room 2[break][break]
Upon entering the following room Chisana noticed how it was much more humid and warmer than it was a second ago, like there was some kind of lava pit near by or something that was heating up the room so much. He also noticed that the tower here was damaged greatly with some of the wall missing, it was surprising to see any kind of major damage here when from the outside there did not seem to be any. As they moved further into the room the tower seemed to shake as if something had struck it or a giant was jumping around. “Well let us hope that the tower doesn’t collapse on us while we finish this expedition.” Chisana would joking saw to Hania. “Though I’m surprised to see you here, what kind of studies are you doing that would bring you to a dungeon?” Chisana asked, he assumed that the only reason Hania would bother risking a dungeon was because it held some significance to a topic he was researching or learning about. He had learned that Hania was the type to go the extra step when it came to learning about things that caught his interest. [break][break]
As they progressed Chisana both sensed and heared something moving around nearby, the mana signatures spoke of more beast like creatures and after motioning for Hania to stop moving his suspiscions were answered when a pack of 10 reptilian creatures came running just past the two Magic Knights. It did not seem like they had noticed them and Chisana was going to capitalize on that fact, quickly he summoned his golems with a large assortment of Junior golems to attack the back half of the pack. 10 Junior golems quickly swarmed the pack and even though they had to sacrifice themselves they were able to take out 5 of the 10 creatures. It was a slight positive and as long as Chisana had enough time he would be able to bring out more golems to deal with the rest, but he was sure that Hania would be able to thin the herd a bit too.[break][break]

Hania listened to him and smiling though he had to admit it was a worrying thought that a member of the others team had vanished without so much as a trace. "I see. No, unfortunately, I did not see anyone up until I found you." he informed the other "It is a worrying turn of events, perhaps he set off a silent spatial trap." he offered as an explanation for the sudden disappearance, this was an ancient dungeon so they may have possessed lost types of magics and the likes never saw before. He chuckled as the other said he was lucky that he had him as a fellow explorer "Perhaps we are both lucky as this place seems to be an ancient death trap." he said looking at his filthy clothing from when he had sunk into the dirt floor at the bottom of the stairs, he knew he should have been paying attention but then you would expect a dirt floor to be solid. Lesson learned.
He walked up after the other his sleeve still covering his nose and mouth, hearing the other's words he shook his head "The corpses are to new for this kind of scent, this is an overwhelming scent of decay." he notified the younger male as he started to look around the room but it would seem as if the black-haired male would move towards a large hole on the right wall. Moving closer even with his sleeve over his mouth and nose the scent was getting stronger, it was the vilest thing he has smelt since the Ryuutei butchering area, it was still something he avoided at the best of times. "I wish I didn't have a sense of smell, to say this is disgusting is like saying a decaying corpse smells like a daisy." he said wishing he was a water mage all of a sudden because then he could make his sleeve wet, still he made his way through the hole after his companion.
Floor 2, Room 2
As he entered the other side he stopped feeling the small quake, that made him more than a little concerned as it made him feel like this place could collapse on them at any point. His eyes went around quickly to take in his new surroundings, surprisingly enough this seemed as if it was out in the open. He could see the sky "Chisana, look." he said pointing to the sky showing they were indeed outside or at least there was an illusion of it. It was then that his icy self found that the heat was becoming more and more unbearable as the steam from the nearby heated lake finally started to register. He increased his mana output pulling down the temperature for both himself and Chisana, It was times like this he was glad he was an ice mage. "It seems by expelling some mana I can keep us more comfortable against the heat this place gives off." he let the other know "Bear in mind, I do not feel the cold so if it gets too cold for you let me know." he said not really wanting to be uncomfortable himself but he would rather not have a Chisana-cle of his making.
He moved and looked to the lake, he was unsure if it would be classed as a hot spring or a boiling pot and he wasn't about to be the one to be the lab rat to find out the answer. "What do you think hot spring or cooking pot?" he asked the other his tone showed he was genuinely interested in finding out the answer. "I think this might actually be some sort of active volcano." he said thoughtfully, it would explain the heat and the proverbial steaming crock pot in front of them. "I agree, I would have to explain my death to my sister. She'd kill me." he chuckled lightly his hand coming down from his face how he didn't feel sick. Hearing the question he turned to look to his fellow magic knight "I was bored and got curious." he said as if it was just a normal Thursday for him. He did take note of the fauna, flora and fungi around them, he could only make the assumption that between the fast warm water and the humidity that it had allowed them to grow as they did.
Moving with Chisana he remained silent until he saw exactly what the other heard. "Well this is some strange funhouse." he said with a sigh. "Can we throw one into the water please, I want to see if it is a hot spring or if it will boil something both will be useful for differing reasons." he said with a shrug, it wasn't that he enjoyed senseless violence but the question would need to be answered one way or another and if they attacked them then they deserved to be the ones sacrificed to find out. "They are called Falkhasaurs, they are thought to be extinct so perhaps not boiling them would be a good thing but accidents happen in battle." he said calmly, it was as if his compassionate side of his brain had switched off and all that was left was the logical and curious side.
He did stop when the other indicated to "Why in the god's creation would anything need fur in this place, it could melt soft metals I'm sure." it was a bit of an over-exaggeration but he still wanted to know why the hell these things had fur in a place that was like a sauna. He noticed how the other had started taken the initiative to take them out before they could take them out, he hoped one would charge but he didn't think they'd get so lucky given their current way of fighting. Hania hadn't ended his spell, in fact, on his left, there was the mirror-like sheet of ice and to his right, there was a giant ice shard. He hadn't stopped the spell because he knew that there was a good chance of getting ambushed by the unknown and he'd rather be prepared for that eventuality.
The ice shard shattered into three, with the click of his fingers so did the ice mirror, moving his hands forward he sent a single shard towards eight of the ten unsuspecting mana beasts. Given that they were reptilian and with the fur he guessed that they would be harder to kill than those coral peacock experiment rejects in the last area and it would seem as if he was right, however, the attack had made the others aware. Perhaps he was in fact going to be able to see just how hot the water was, the notion excited him he couldn't exactly lie, he really had to wonder where it came from though.

Chisana listened to Hania suggest tossing some of the creatures into the heated water to see what would happen and it was one of those suggestions that had anyone else said it they would be looked at like they were crazy but since Chisana knew that Hania just wanted to learn more about things it made more sense to him why it was a request that was being asked. It would certainly tell them just how truly hot it was and if it also got rid of their enemies Chisana didn’t really care to much about helping fulfill that request. “Sure, no problem, I’ll toss the last two in there.” Chisana said as he casted another spell, Falcon summoning 3 large golems that took wing and snatched up the last remaining lizard creatures and dove into the center of the water. The golems were dismissed due to the heat and intensity of it but the lizard creatures were trapped in the water, seemingly boiling from the inside out, their scales seemed to crack and break while they screamed a very inhuman screech. It was like dropping a frog into a pot of boiling water just without the ability of jumping out of said pot, they cooked quickly the screeches dying out quickly as the heat stole away any air they had. [break][break]
“Well that was a sight that I don’t plan on experience again. At least now we know that it isn’t a hot spring type of place and more of a cooking pot situation.” Chisana said to Hania as he made his way to the edge of the water.[break][break]
Chisana looked around and noticed that there were two paths out of this room, One involved using the trees to cross the river but there was also another path that seemed to go along the river but seemed heavily overgrown. He figured it would be safer to just follow the path even if they had to go through the overgrowth.[break][break]
Floor 2 Room 3[break][break]
As he led the way through the Small Narrow Path the overgrowth tore at his clothing and skin dealing Junior damage to his Mana skin. It was not that big of a deal to the young Black Bull and he continued to clear the path for Hania as they went along so that they did not have to deal with the tearing and damage. Once they reached past the overgrowth the path seemed to open enough to comfortably take a rest if the group wanted to. The walls of plants and vines creating a barrier from the outside and seemingly being too thick for any creature to break through or attack them, it was a rare place to find within a typically always dangerous and harmful dungeon that seemed to punish every step an adventurer took while dungeon diving.[break][break]
Chisana decided he would slow his pace and even turn to Hania, “Would you like to take a small break? There can’t be to much more of the dungeon left and if there is then it will probably be the typical boss room that is situated at the end.” Chisana stopped at a slightly larger clearing a perfect place to take a rest and found a comfortable spot and planted himself on the ground not waiting for Hania to respond. “Well how are you enjoying your time here in the Great Ancient tower of Quinteps?” Chisana said in a host’s voice acting like he was the manager of the dungeon and was questioning a guest on their stay at his establishment.[break][break]

TL;DRChisana casts Falcon summoning 3 Int Golems to scoop up the last 2 monsters dumping them into the heated water cooking them like frogs in a pot. He then leds the way into the Small Narrow path and takes Junior dmg due to the thorns. They find a resting place and Chisana sits down asking Hania different questions.

Hania knew that most people asking for living things to be tossed into heated water to tell the temperature could be seen as not only strange but also somewhat sadistic as they had no idea of how hot the water actually was. That was the whole point of asking for it to happen though, he was curious and this would help them know if it would be safe to go into the water if needs must. Given that he told Chisana that these things were thought to be extinct and so they should perhaps not kill them, he was actually surprised to hear that the other was quite content to throw one or two in just to see the outcome. Not that he minded because at the end of the day they both had curious minds. "Seems like a plan." he said as they started to make short work of the enemies.
He had so far had managed to deal junior damage to eight of the enemy by attacking them when they hadn't seen them coming, between the first set of golems and seven of the eight ice shards hitting it left three of the beasts still conscious. He had been pretty sure to allow a lot of them to survive as after all they were thought to be extinct. The last three, however, were scooped up by Chisana's falcon golems and dropped into the lake that was nearby. The instant they hit the water ungodly screams and roars of agony escaped their maws. His question had been answered, the lake wasn't safe to go nearby anything less than a dragon that might find it as a moderately warm bath. "Well that solves one mystery, we have a crockpot." he said rubbing his arm watching as the beasts died inside the water unable to get themselves out.
His eyes went to the snake branch member as he started to speak about it "To call that water a cooking pot is like calling ice lukewarm" he said calmly his head tilting to the side as the area became silent once again. "I have to admit, it is a sight I never wish to see or hear again even though I know for a fact I'll never forget it." his memory was both a blessing and a curse, recently he was finding the latter to be the best way to describe it. He moved with Chisana to the water's edge looking into it. The water itself was crystal clear and inviting but they knew it was nothing more than a honeyed trap at this point and neither of them would be stupid enough to fall for it. Then something happened.
A pair of powerful roars were heard deeper within the tower, this made Hania smile widely, he wanted to know what made the noise but he noticed afterwards whatever ambient noise there was stopped. It was like they had been surrounded in a noise suppressing bubble, he had to admit it was unsettling. He looked around looking at where Chisana had been, there were two paths to go deeper he noticed. It didn't seem like it had occurred to his companion to ask him what he thought was the best way to proceed, instead, he started to follow the path. Personally, he'd have preferred to take the other route but followed none the less.
Floor 2 Room 3:
The pair continued down the small narrow path, as Chisana had led the way he watched as the thick thorned plants ripped into his clothing and skin. He didn't like it because even a small amount of damage could change everything, also they had no idea if anything that was cutting into the other was poisonous. He had knowledge on how to make medicine from plants and how to make makeshift balms, but some of these plants he had never seen before so it would be hit and miss. In addition to that, he was pretty that neither of them had an affinity to healing magic making taking damage less than appealing in his mind. "Chisana, we could have taken the other route, then you wouldn't be getting shredded like a piece of cheese on a grater." he complained, it was clear he weirdly cared for the other.
Before long the pair had made it through the thicket into a clearing that seemed like a good place to rest, still, he didn't lower his spells, he didn't trust the place. It was almost like the calm before the storm and he wanted to be prepared for when the storm arrived. "I'm fine enough to continue." he said calmly continuing to walk at his normal pace. He had to agree that there couldn't be much more to the place, he blinked seeing Chisana plopping himself on the ground and closed his eyes to roll them a bit "If you were going to rest anyway why ask me if I would like to rest Chisana?" he asked, his voice was stoic but it held the subtle undertone of frustration. Hearing the tone of the next question he chuckled.
"Well, I'm not enjoying it that much in honesty." he said like a dissatisfied guest. "I was met by a sandstorm of all things. I've sunk into the floor ruining my clothing, had to use a vine to get out of the awful dirt almost losing a shoe in the process." he started cupping his cheek in his left hand "Then there is the unsafe damp steps, the experimental shroom snails that smell wretched and poison. The lake so hit that even dragons would be going 'nope, I'm not going in there' but finding out how hot it was fascinating if not a bit horrific." he continued tapping his chin "It was quite interesting to see a creature thought to be extinct though, but why anything would need fur in this place is beyond me. The choice of paths was a nice touch though but I think the plants need to be sheared a bit so they don't harm the tourists." he said finally bringing his hand down as if he had finished giving his review "Oh yes, if I haven't mentioned it yet... it's too hot in here." he complained, it was hard for him not to he was an ice mage after all.

Chisana shrugged, Hania was right they could have taken the other way, but he got a weird feeling about it and this little bit of fray to his clothing and light scratches wasn’t anything that would both Chisana beyond needing a nice hot shower after this little adventure. “Oh, come now, offering the choice is just standard manners. Whether or not you rest is completely up to you.” Chisana would say with a smile. He listened to Hania’s complaints as they continued with the bit that Chisana had started. “I guess we will have to refund your money for the stay and restructure the whole establishment at a later date.” He said with a disappointed tone.[break][break]
Chisana smiled and got up, he had gotten the slight breather that while he did not need it was nice to be able to take a break every once and a while especially in a dungeon. “Well, I guess it’s time we finish this little expedition. Feels like we have been here forever.”[break][break]
Floor 2 Room 4[break][break]
Chisana lead the duo into the final room and was met with a large gust of more dust and sand blocking their vision for a moment. “Of course, more bloody sand and dust just storming around.” Chisana complained as the wind died down and the source of the problem was discovered, two very large and powerful beasts were in the middle of a turf war of sorts. Strategically it would be best to figure out who was the weakest help them destroy the strongest and then take of the former ally. Enemy of my enemy is my friend scenario, Chisana studied the large creatures and he figured between the avian mana beast that had a sharp tail that knowing their luck had some kind of poison or other crazy effect or the large reptile that seemed like it was a relative to the dragons of old it would be best to help the flying creature. “I’m going to attack dragon boy and hopefully their battle has gone on long enough that if flying boy is to injured to attack us while we do battle.” Chisana shouted to Hania as he charged towards the creatures. Chisana begun to let the mana flow through his body and begun casting as many of his spells as he could. He was going to make sure that his army was there to help take care of this beast as quickly as possible. [break][break]
“Falcon, Soldier, Basilisk.” Chisana muttered as he brought forth 3 humanoid looking, covered in armor golems, 3 giant serpent golems and 3 avian golems that he had previously used against the lizards in a few rooms back. “Slaughter the beast on the ground.” Chisana stated as he moved closer to the large beast, he simply wanted to draw the attention of the creature more than anything while his golems did their damage and with any luck Hania would be able to finish off the beast once his golems had crashed against it, raking, clawing and slicing the beast. Chisana was glad that he had continued to train his golems to be stronger and faster than they use to be but he still had a long way to go before he was able to claim them as being the best. “Hania it should be on its death bed so if you would so kindly take care the finishing blow.” Chisana would offer to his scholar companion. Hania couldn't argue the fact with the other, offering a moment of respite when you could gain it especially in their line of work wasn't just decent manners but often welcome. "You're right Chisana, what was I thinking." he said with a warm tone, he found that he enjoyed the companionship of the pure aura mage more than he had originally expected that he would. He listened to the other as he acted like a disappointed manager of a resort as he was given a bunch of complaints from the white-haired heir playing the part of a spoiled noble doing nothing but finding every reason to make their life an absolute hell. It was a fun thing to do even in a place like this and the pair seemed to be enjoying it. He crossed his arms "Well I would hope so, I'd hate to give your resort a bad review." he said sounding the part.
Hania looked to the other as he stood, they had been in here quite some time and so now they should finish their expedition "I agree, let's finish our research and have our curiosities sated." he said with a calm tone as he followed after the other before pausing and looking back to the enclosed glade. He had to wonder why there was such a place when there had been enemies and other dangers every other step of the way. This seemed far too planned and it made him more than a little suspicious but it wasn't like he could sit and ponder it as there were other things that had caught not only his but Chisana's attention. After a long moment, he moved to catch up with the other as he tried to work through it quickly but there were too many variables.
[Floor 2, Room 4:]
Hania moved into the room just after Chisana and like the black-haired teen, he was affected but the sandstorm but brought the mirror-like sheet of ice to the side where it was blowing from. "What is it with this place and sand." he complained, if he wanted to deal with this kind of thing he'd go to the beach which he had no intention of doing any time soon. It would seem his colleague had the same irritation that he had in regards to this place, neither was fond of the sand, dust and sandstorms but unlike the other, he had a method of dealing with it somewhat efficiently. It wasn't that long before the wind seemed to calm down and the cause was revealed to the pair. "Would you look at that, two more though to be extinct animals fighting for dominion of this place." he seemed disinterested and interested all at the same time.
"The flying one is called a Joatl and the one on the ground is called a Juvasaur, as like our last friends they are thought to be extinct but it seemed they were just hiding out in the clubhouse having a disagreement." he said as if this was just run of the mill at this point in this place it may as well be. He watched the pair fighting and deciding a tactic, he knew that helping the stronger to take out the weaker to most would seem like a good idea but he didn't see it that way. They would then be left to deal with something that would either make them toe jam or eat them like an entree, he had to admit neither seemed appealing to him and he was sure Chisana would agree equally to.
"Why do things here have fur? It is way to hot for that kind of thing." his voice raised an entire optic given his disbelief. It would seem as if Chisana had made the same assessment, that going after the weaker would be fruitless and so he had sent three of his golems to take care of the gigantic lizard. "I'm in agreement with that, if we take out the stronger even if the weaker attacks then they'd be easy enough to deal with." So they had their plan and it had been set in motion, before he had even moved nine golems had been sent to deal with the threat. It was quite clear to see the strength that the other had in his specialization. He was pretty sure they were going to take out the damn thing and make him wonder why he was excluded from having any fun.
Hania heard the others words and nodded clicking his fingers the ice like mirror shattered into three differing shards, he didn't bother with breaking the other spell into smaller shards as he moved a hand forward sending them towards the dinosaur looking enemy. There was of course pain the sharp ice-cold shards cut into its flesh dealing the final two blows needed to down the strong opponent. "Timber." he commented washing as it came crashing to the ground with that he watched as the other more hurt beast flew off if not a little lopsided. "Let's go get some fresh air and perhaps some ice-cream" he muttered as he moved to the exit under the assumption that Chisana would follow him.

Name of Spell: Shattered Dreams Rank & Spell Type: Junior ¦ Attack Creation Range & Speed: 25 meters ¦ 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 ¦ 5 Stats Effected: +2 power (self) Applicable Perks: Apex predator, Elemental oddity Description: Hania moves his hand out in front of him a ice blue and white set of runes appear in front of him for two seconds, as they begin to fade a large shard of clear ice seems to appear from them. Hania is able then to use this piece of ice as is or with the use of ammo rules splinter it into smaller pieces, if the latter happens the ice shards would still be almost completely transparent but they would still hold a black tint to them. With this spell Hania doesn't aim for the throat so to speak it will only ever go for non vital areas that will cause the most pain. While this spell is active Hania himself will gain a +2 to his power to help him if the spell was to clash against another spell.
Name of Spell: Shattered Reflections Elemental Type: Ice Rank & Spell Type: Junior ¦ Attack Creation Range & Speed: 25 meters ¦ 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 ¦ 5 Stats Effected: +2 power (self) Applicable Perks: Apex predator, Elemental oddity Description: Hania swiped his left hand towards the right in doing so he creates what appears to be a sheet of glass about an inch thick and stands around six foot tall and two foot wide on first glance but this isn't the case, it is actually made entirely out of ice. The way he has condensed his mana allows the normal non reflective ice to come across almost like a poor man's mirror. It would give any major detail but a person would be able to see themselves within it. The edges off the ice are blackened almost as if it was a frame for it. Once completely formed all that is required is for him to click his fingers shattering the would be mirror into several shards, the amount of shards would fall under the ammo rules. These shards would float around him thanks to the way he can control and manipulate his mana, thrusting his hand forward allows him to send the shards towards an enemy in the hopes to hit them. This spell will give Hania a +2 to his power while the spell is active.
