This is a system that will come into play when players wish to take on an action that would have potential site-wide consequences, such as attacking a squad base, plotting an assassination of the Royal Family, or pulling off a grand heist. Players have to adhere to the rules set forth by this system, or their actions will likely be denied by staff and will not gain what they are seeking.

The side who claims victory will be rewarded with either having their siege successful or thwarting the siege. Rewards will be based on the plot of the siege and how extensive the siege was made. For example, if you only have a single siege thread, it will likely net less rewards than those that would have had three ongoing siege threads.

[attr="class","header2"]BASIC RULES
[break]Siege threads are a series of threads that are chronologically taking place at the same time or within a short period of time.
[break][break]
- Players are locked into their current stats, spells, and items once they join a siege thread/event.
- Siege threads do not count towards any thread limit, but you may only be part of one siege thread at a time.
- Siege threads have a maximum participant count of 4 people, and one person must be opposing the siege maker.
- These threads are PvP and therefore maim- and death-enabled; you must be willing to die for what you believe in.
- For the siege to succeed or fail, one side must claim victory in a majority of the siege threads (i.e. if there are 3 siege threads up, the siege makers must win 2 out of the 3 threads, and vice versa).
- Siege-based plots and threads must be approved by staff via the Wizard King's Office before they can be started; if a player wishes to keep this as a surprise, they may opt to DM staff instead.
[break][break]
[attr="class","header2"]BASIC MECHANICS
[break]- There is no limit to the number of siege threads that can be up, but you must have at least one unique PC in each thread.
- Participants must post within 72 hours of each other. This will be strictly enforced—no ifs, ands, or buts. Failure to do this allows someone to get in a free hit on the AFKer. Stay active or face the consequences.
- Players who wish to join a siege event must be within a single rank of the siege maker or the highest ranked member of the siege team (i.e. if a senior rank mage starts the siege, only those ranked intermediate, senior, or grand may join).
- Players who initiate a siege on a base or a site-wide event must be aware that any member of the base being under siege, or any participants within the site-wide event, can (and will) retaliate.
