The Clover Kingdom's Order of Magic Knights is an organization where selected mages enter and become part of the Kingdom's premier military force. They are assigned the noble duty of protecting the Kingdom from various threats, such as invasions from foreign countries, exploration of dangerous dungeons, and even dealing with the local crimes within the Kingdom itself. These duties are treated as missions that can be accomplished by any Magic Knight, where the knights can nominate themselves for the duty, or be nominated by a higher-ranked Magic Knight; some squads have even been known to team up to complete these duties!

Due to the Magic Knights' duties, which are focused on combat-based missions, members of the Magic Knights must possess a high amount of magic power and be well-versed in combat. Membership and leadership of the Magic Knights are often dominated by the nobility of the Clover Kingdom, mostly because they are known to have a higher capacity for magic. (Perhaps because they often produce offspring with high magical powers and talents.) This fact does not hinder commoners of lesser status to enter the organization or even to rise and become leaders themselves, as the Magic Knights often arrange a Magic Knights Entrance Exam, in which everyone could participate for a chance to be inducted into one of the Magic Knights' squads.

Members of the Magic Knights are divided into nine different squads, each of which is led by a Magic Knight that has been bestowed authority as the captain of the squad, with a Vice Captain subordinate to ensure that the squad is managed as fairly and evenly as possible. Each squad possesses its own insignia in correspondence to the squad's name, as well as signature robes that easily differentiate members of one squad from another. The grand leader of the Magic Knights is known as the
Wizard King and is the uncontested strongest mage in all of Clover. The current Wizard King is the former Purple Orca Captain,
Jagen Lavender♛ .
The title of Wizard King is an NPC locked position. [break][break]
The nine squads of the Magic Knights are as follows:
The Azure Deer, The Black Bulls, The Blue Roses, The Coral Peacocks, the Crimson Lions, The Golden Dawn, The Green Mantises, The Purple Orca, and

THE ROYAL KNIGHTS[break]
The Royal Knights are a special subset of Magic Knights that are recruited among the Magic Knight elite in a time of the Kingdom's most dire need. Royal Knights normally consist of Squad Captains and even Vice-Captains, with Royal Knight recruitment often being a grand spectacle of a special Tournament to determine its members.

Seniority within the Magic Knight Squads is classified by Ranks and Classes. There are
FOUR (4) Ranks:
Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and
Grand. Within each Rank are
FIVE (5) Classes with the
5th Class being the
lowest and
1st Class being the

When you first join a Magic Knight Squad you will begin at Junior Rank 5th Class. In order to progress through the ranks, a Magic Knight needs to earn a certain number of
GOLD STARS per class rank. Gold stars are rewarded by completed
missions, dungeons, and even certain
events. As you gain Stars you'll increase your Class and eventually your Rank as well. Below you will see how many Stars are needed to progress. . In order to apply for Rank-Ups please see the

There are two main leadership positions per squad, these are the
CAPTAIN and
VICE-CAPTAIN positions. The Captain of a Squad is the Squad's overall leader, their responsibilities include squad recruitment, mission delegation, and they are overall recognized as some of the most powerful warrior mages in all of Clover. Vice-Captains run intermediary squad disciplines and serve directly under their Captains in managing their squad.

VICE-CAPTAIN QUALIFICATIONS[break]
- Have been active on the site for at least SIX (6) IRL months
- Have been active in the Squad for at least FOUR (4) IRL months
- At least SIX (6) Notable Achievements
- Must have completed at least SIX (6) social threads with at least ONE other member of their Squad
- Must have completed at least EIGHT (8) Senior Rank Missions
- Must be at least Senior Rank 1st Class.
- Must have at least 450 TOTAL STATS
CAPTAIN QUALIFICATIONS[break]
- Have been active on the site for at least EIGHT (8) IRL months.
- Must have been active in the Squad for at least SIX (6) IRL months.
- Must have at least TWELVE (12) Notable Achievements.
- Must have completed at least TEN (10) social threads with at least ONE other member of your Squad, NOT including those used to qualify for Vice Captain
- Must have completed at least TEN (10) Senior Rank Missions, NOT including those used to qualify for Vice Captain.
- Must be at least Grand Rank 3rd Class.
- Must have at least 650 TOTAL STATS
SOCIAL REQUIREMENT ALTERNATIVES[break]
We realize that some squads struggle due to not having many members or that their members may be on hiatus making it harder to reach the social requirements above and so we have alternatives. Please note that we are not reducing the social requirements but making them easier to obtain and some of the alternatives may have a special stipulation.
- You can request to thread with your squad's NPC captain.
- Squads will be chosen each season to host events, these events will be classed as squad socials.
- Twice a year a squad with THREE (3) or less active members may request to have their squad host an event. When doing this they must pitch the idea of the event so it can be made. In addition to this, a squad must not request to host a squad event during seasonal events. NOTE: The event must be open to all magic knights at least and if several squads ask at the same time the squad(s) most in need will get first priority.
MODERATED ADVENTURE ALTERNATIVES[break]
The magic knight squads are known to not only host social gatherings where they invite others from all walks of life to join them but to go on the most dangerous of tasks that could end not only their lives but could change the entirety of Clover if they fail to take out said given threats. Those who decide to take on these missions often miss out on being able to take part in socials but know they are held in higher prestige than the average mission. It is because of this that they can be used in place of either the social requirement or the mission requirement for vice-captain or captain positions but you must make it clear that you are using this alternative and which requirement you are switching out upon making the request for whichever position you are wanting.
Due to the length of time moderated adventures usually take you only require the following:
- Vice Captain: Requires one (1) completed moderated adventure
- Captain: Requires two (2) completed moderated adventures

The position of Vice-Captain and Captain can only be maintained by meeting certain
ACITIVITY REQUIREMENTS. Vice-Captains and Captains are expected to set a precedence for squad-centric plots and activity!

- Must go on at least 1 mission every TWO IRL months with a squad member
- Must have at least ONE thread with a fellow squad member every TWO IRL months.
- Attend any squad base event that is going on.
- Accept any challenge from a person to take the Vice Captain position that holds the Bare Minimum Requirements
- Assist your Captain in maintaining and updating the monthly Squad tracker

- Must have at least ONE thread with a fellow squad member every TWO IRL months.
- Must hold some sort of All Squad Meeting or Event every THREE IRL months.
- Must attend any and all Captain meetings called by the Wizard King
- Must Proctor the Magic Knight Exams and manage all recruitment to their squad.
- Accept any challenge from a person to take the Captain position that holds the Bare Minimum Requirements
- Maintain and update monthly the Squad Tracker of their squad

There are three main ways for a character to end up joining the magic knights:
app-in,
the magic knights exams, and
recruitment.

APP-IN[break]
By far, likely the easiest way for a character to join the Magic Knights is for the character to be written in as a member of a squad from initial character creation. This means that upon writing a character history, at some point in the character's past they likely took the Magic Knight Exams and were chosen to be a member of that Squad or were recruited in some other form or fashion. While other histories can elaborate further, this is the most common method of joining the Magic Knights.

Upon App-In to a particular squad, several squads have
app-in requirements of a character's history or other qualities. Such as, Crimson Lion applications must have the character specialize in some sort of offensive magic. Golden Dawn applications must be of high-quality and prove that the character is a prodigy. Silver Eagle applications must of a character be of nobility, etc.

MAGIC KNIGHT EXAMS[break]
The Magic Knight Exams are a special bi-annual site event in which those who are not Magic Knights may go through a series of trials, tests, and even combat in order to prove themselves worthy of joining the Magic Knights. Captains personally proctor and run the Exams in order to select candidates that could prove potentially worthy of their squad. The Magic Knights exams are open to all citizens of any rank, race, or standing, commoner or noble.

RECRUITMENT[break]
Another method of in-character joining of a squad is known as squad recruitment. Recruitment requires a non magic knight to complete a set of requirements in roleplay in order to be recruited into a squad. These may include doing a number of missions, learning spells, or being of a certain rank to name a few. Recruitment paths differ slightly by squad, but ultimately is the decision of the squad's captain to approve of any new recruits to their squad.

Characters are allowed to retire or leave the knights whenever they wish if they do so on good terms. If they do, they lose all privileges and rewards of being a knight (such as paychecks) as well as any and all gold stars obtained during their tenure as a knight. As for any and all group changes, please let staff know.
