Satori had a benefit when it came to news of a new Dungeon forming. Due to Ryū being so close to the borders of the Forsaken Region as well as the Fringe, it made it far easier to hear of such a formation. There were no detailed reports, not yet. Only that some of his Akemu patrols had heard sounds of battle echoing through the canyon. But upon inspection had found nothing but massive, ancient skeletons half-buried in the stone. It sounded eerily similar to the old entrance to the hidden core of the Lava Palace that acted as a portal to another world, effectively.
If that was the case there were many reasons to avoid it as best as possible for most. Satori, however, desired to explore it simply due to that fact. When was the last time he'd tangled with a Dungeon that was a real threat to him? When was the last time he went for a dive without others that abandoned him or slowed him down? He missed the days of organized dungeon diving with June and Yuurei. But June was currently inside the Ryuutei forest for her trial.
Similarly, Eve was training trying to reach the mountain peak. He didn't wish to disturb her, or Nala, and push the risk that they wouldn't meet organically. So, that rose the question, which rookie did he want to take in and test? Verena was still a bit of an unknown, and pushing her to go into an unknown Dungeon that showed signs of risk comparable to the Lava Palace was asking a bit much. Aust as much as he'd like to drag the kid in, was also a bit too green to survive likely.
The same could be said of Julien, and Siobhan. But, there was one that came to mind easily. A young man that was growing just as quickly as Eve was. He was still far too weak for the dungeon but that wouldn't stop him nearly as easily, and if they were careful he should be alright. Humming in his chest, Satori shifted his gaze toward the scout that was currently standing at attention within the hall.
"Go and retrieve Hania, let him know I'm asking for his help in a Dungeon," Satori stated simply, causing the man to nod once. Hania had been staying here off and on, and though he was still recovering from his coma he was close to a hundred percent again. While he waited for the scout to dash off, Satori pulled out a map and overlaid the scout's own to it. Examining the location that the sounds had been located and beginning to trace the quickest route to get there from Ryū.

It had been a few days since the white-haired Ravencrest had woken up from his coma, he had been less than one hundred percent since he had awoken. In that regard, nothing much had changed as he was still feeling the unnatural after-effects of whatever the hell he went through this time. When he had recovered enough he sent word that a carriage should be sent to retrieve him which was indeed sent. He spent around a week within his families estate resting and getting the care that he didn't know that he required while he was in one of his comas. He had no idea that he required so much care in that state and his nanny was beside herself that he hadn't stopped when he knew just how bad it was going to get.
He could understand her worry and frustration but waved it off with a smile letting her know it was important for everyone involved, he honestly didn't mind the pain for keeping his word and getting stronger by doing it. When It was found out he was returning to the Ryuutei, his nanny had loaded his carriage with everything required for his care while away from the estate. He was actually worried that the woman was ready to join him because she did. He couldn't help let out an amused sigh helping her into the carriage and they made their way back. He knew it wouldn't be a permanent thing she was just worried about the boy she had help cared for since he was a child. It wouldn't have mattered if he said that she could have just written the instructions down, the woman was more of a perfectionist than any noble and it simply wouldn't do.
Upon entering the clan grounds he had helped her out of the carriage before going to find Hanako to tell her what was going on, the woman was as bubbly as ever and met his nanny. He was already worried about that meeting but it couldn't be avoided he expected. The two women moved off and Hania started to move the packages out of the carriage and went towards his room, with how much he had brought it felt as if he was moving in permanently. "This isn't what I expected." he sighed rearranging the room to fit everything that had been packed before doing the same for his nanny in the room she had been given (wherever that might be.) Over time he was starting to feel more like himself but he still wasn't quite one hundred percent.
Time passed and his nanny and Hanako seemed to have made friends, which terrified the teen to no end but he was at least glad the pair were happy within each others company. He had once again started training, he didn't like the idea of always going to the blood rings as sometimes he required training to calm his mind and self reflect. It was during these time she released his mana which created a small ice platform connected by ice like ropes. On this day he was using the training jian that he had grabbed from the estate as it was his preferred weapon. He was just training people walking below paying no mind to him now use to his strangeness. His nanny and Hanako were in the garden talking and having tea and cake that he had prepared for them before he had started.
Hania was so lost in what he was doing he didn't hear the scout call up to him to get his attention. "Hania Yukio Ravencrest get down here this instant!" The nanny called out his movement stopping mid-swing the moment he heard that 'mother' tone. Sheathing his blade he stopped his mana from escaping his body and the platform faded making him land on the floor in a crouched position. "Is there something wrong?" he asked watching as the woman pointed to the scout. "One moment." he said to the man as he moved over and put the jian next to his nanny and moved to the scout "I will be back soon." he said "And hopefully not in bad shape" she rebuked making him sigh "I make no promises, but then you are here to take care of me aren't you." he said with a laugh going to the scout "Take me to Satori." he said as Amostia landed on his shoulder.
He knew that only Satori would likely be looking for him so it wasn't exactly a reach in his mind to request such a thing. The scout had informed him of the dungeon, that still made him curious as to why he was being asked for. He moved after the man quickly though wondered what was so urgent that he needed to send someone to get him. "Satori, is something wrong?" he would ask tilting his head moving closer to the other.

Satori glanced up as the sliding door opened to reveal the young Ravencrest, smiling slightly in greeting. He motioned for him to come in toward him. Currently, the large man was sitting on a cushion in front of a large table. Adorning it's top was a detailed map of the region with several slim pins stuck in it tracing a path across the Fringe and south. Moving into the Forsaken Region and into a canyon that carved through a chunk of the land.
"Welcome back, Hania," he stated with a smile as he reached over and would pat his shoulder once with a smile before settling back down. "There's nothing wrong directly, no. Just a new development that I thought you'd like to try with me." As he explained this he motioned toward the map.
"My scouts discovered a new Dungeon, theoretically. One deep in the Forsaken Region. It appears to be based around a portal, if I had a guess. They've heard echoing combat but the actual canyon itself is empty, they're scouts but their sensory isn't on par with my own after all." Satori's gaze slid down a moment, examining the map with a slight frown.
"Generally Dungeons with portals for entrances have been... fairly high-end in difficulty," as he explained this he tapped the location of the canyon twice with a fingertip.
"It's located here. A bit of a treck but we're close by thankfully. Its risk is fairly high, but I thought you'd appreciate the chance to get some live combat training." Satori leaned back and tapped the inkwell quill against his shoulder a moment in thought.
"What do you think? The risk will be fairly high, but you won't lose your life as long as you stay with me. The experience should help you quite a bit as well." As he stated this he would reach over, pouring the teen a mug of tea for him to sip on while Satori lifted his own dish of sake to his lips. The alcohol wasn't strong, little more than a casual drinking ale. But it had a sweet taste with a bitter tinge he enjoyed before battles and training.

Hania moved to the table and sat down on one of the large pillows in his normal method which was he knelt on the cushion and sat on his heels. He had tried to be more relaxed in the way he sat but it just felt so unnatural to him so it didn't seem like it would be something that would be changing any time soon. His eyes however moved to the table and the large map that had been pinned to it, he quickly studied the whole thing, it seemed to be a more detailed map of the forsaken region than he had ever seen. In honesty, he was quite intrigued by it. He looked up as he was welcomed back by the elder man and nodded his head in greeting to the other.
"Thank you, although, I've been back a while and my nanny insisted in coming with me to teach yourself and now Hanako about my required care when I'm in my less than welcome state." he said with a smile, he knew it seemed babyish to still have a nanny at his age and the woman honestly was no longer such; she was still his carer and nothing in existence would change her mind of that. He smiled as his shoulder was patted, he no longer tried to avoid such interactions knowing it was just the way of things and it was acceptable between friends. He looked at the map once more now taking in the pins as the other spoke of a new potential dungeon that the clan's scouts had found. "I see, well that is interesting." he moved forward a bit to look properly, he had taken note that the other thought he would like to be with him on this endeavour.
He wasn't entirely wrong on that, the young heir had a curious mind and so something this virginal was right up his alley. He flicked his eyes up "Portals?" he knew what spatial magic could do but it needed a mana source to keep such things open, he could only imagine how much mana it was taking to keep them open. Then he had the questions of who would sacrifice their mana like that and why would they do it. His eyes turned back towards the map studying it once more to see if he missed anything but now he could see where they would be going. "They heard echo's of combat inside an empty canyon?" it honesty seemed more than a little suspicious to him if he had to be realistic.
He turned his gaze to the side looking at Satori as he sensed a change, it had become almost like a sixth sense around the man. He saw the frown but what he said next made him understand it was warranted. "I don't know what help I would be in such a place if they are as difficult as you say they are." his voice was calm, he wasn't turning it down but he was confused that he would be asked over people within the clan. His eyes went back to where he tapped "I've been near there before in the past but heard nothing." he said but then again something could have changed and it wasn't the exact area so he may have been miles away.
"Are you sure I'm the right tool for this Satori? I mean I'm happy enough to go because I care nothing about the difficulty it's actually exciting and I'm curious as all hell but I don't want to be a hindrance to you." he said with that mischievous smile only someone excited at an unknown challenge could have. "I appreciate it, so if you're sure when are we leaving?" he asked looking up to the other, this was just so he could grab what he needed before they left because heavens forbid if he had too many flashes inside that palace when he wasn't completely recovered. He took the tea and lifted it to his lips "Let's go see where the combat is coming from and see if we can get stronger doing it." he said with a smirk taking a sip of his tea.

"You're not a tool," Satori mused with a chuckle, before standing and looking toward the window a moment as he contemplated the options before shaking his head.
"This is a job that will be more dangerous than anything else we've done, Hania. Just be certain. As long as you are, we'll head out. The sooner we get there the less likely I have to share with any Magic Knights," Satori's grin split across his lips. His roots as a mercenary for hire to clear dungeons showing as the large man finished his tea. Hauling himself to his feet and moving toward the far wall. Fingertips going down various scrolls, before shaking his head and grunting.
Taking the sake with him and nodding his head toward the library instead. Leading the way and moving toward one of the large bookshelves as he started to sort by area of reference, finding the location and going through books. Finally locating one that specified the lore of the canyon in question. It was a thin volume, to be expected really. It was in the edge of the Forsaken Region. Lifting a hand up he would carefully flip through the pages before grunting.
"Old Dwarven ruin is there," he mused, trailing a finger along its words. The old kanji pausing him as he scratched his chin. "Giant bones have been found in the stone occasionally, too," he added with a blink. "Interesting." Usually, a portal manifested through a new mana zone expanding. When a Dungeon manifested it tended to draw in the thoughts and memories of the world around it, if there were no sentient beings living, then it became of the world itself. Humming, he shrugged.
"Maybe we'll be dealing with Dwarves?" he mused, before sliding the book back into its slot and moving toward the exit once Hania had finished his tea. As he passed, reaching up and grasping the long spear that rested next to the door on its stand. Leather sheath covering its tip to help protect its edge. Moving toward the center, Satori glanced back at Hania with a wide grin.
"Guess you'll finally get to see me go wild for once too, huh?" Satori inquired with a low chuckle before his mana flowed out around them slowly. He didn't have too many spells he could trust anymore, but he still had one. Mana burst along his back and body before two massive wings rippled through the air. Flexing twice at his shoulders. They were different from those he'd created using electricity, instead, they were semi-ethereal.
Long silver feathers caught the light, similar to that of Amostia as Satori rotated his shoulders before offering Hania a hand calmly. It was a silent question on if the teen would allow him to carry him or not.
Name of Spell: Bird Totem: Greater Elemental Type: Beast Aura Rank & Spell Type: Grand (Transformation + Attack Creation) Range & Speed: Self/Touch & 85m/s Mana Cost: 50 & 25/Post 34 & 17/Post Stats Affected: (Optional) 40m/s Speed Applicable Perks: Predator's Mutation, Apex Predator, Build-Up, Quick Shot Description: Satori floods his own body with raw magic, altering his physiology to that of something new. Two massive white and teal feathered, hawk-like wings burst from his back glowing with a faint silver aura, these wings are akin to blades allowing flight as well as being used as weapons using the user's physical speed dealing [Grand] damage on hit. As well, his arms and legs gain elongated claws, allowing him to now hold greater speed and mobility. In this state his eyes turn bright teal with large pupils akin to that of a hawks. His base physical speed is now [40 m/s] unless his base speed is already higher than such, and he gains the ability to [Fly] while supporting up to [5] passengers. He can choose to charge this spell, augmenting the power even further through the [Build-Up] Perk. This can be used on another but requires skin contact in order to place it on another, it can then be maintained in the normal range [150m] limits of the spell.

"We're all tools in a greater game." he replied with a chuckle as he took another sip of his tea. "Eh, if I die I die." he said finishing his cup and putting it down before he started to stand alongside the muscular male. "Life would be boring to play it safe all the time and we would never get stronger doing that either." he said with a smile walking to beside the man before looking up at him "Though, my words from when we were training in the blood rings still stand if I die I remain dead. I don't want to be resurrected." his voice was firm on the matter and it was clear it was the hill he really would die on. "I'll have to grab my incense and prism then." he said knowing that they wouldn't be much good for anything other than to keep him well and act like a light if it got too dark.
"You remember that I am a magic knight right Satori?" he said with a pretend insulted tone before laughing, he could understand where he was coming from. This was technically near his homelands so it was only right that he would want to see what was going on first. He moved out of the meeting room and hurried towards his bedroom picking up his prism and incense as well as a few matches. 'I really should bring the tea but that'll just weigh and slow us down.' he thought to himself as he put the items into the folds of his top and running back a few moments later. He looked around seeing that Satori wasn't there but knew that likely there would still need to be some foreknowledge they would need before heading forward.
Moving through the room and into the library he saw Satori standing in front of one of the bookshelves and stood beside him "I grabbed what the bare minimum of what would keep me ticking." he said looking at the book he was taking off the shelf and was of course curious. He wouldn't read over the man's shoulder, not that he could even if he wanted to. He really was realising just how petite he was being around the Ryuutei and it didn't really sit well with him but it was who he was and he accepted that. "Dwarven ruins? You mean from old times?" That was quite exciting, to be in something potentially made by pure-blooded Dwarves. He listened to the words but he had no idea what was going on and that was something he really didn't like but knew all would be revealed soon, or at least that was the hope.
"I thought all full-blooded dwarves died out." he said knowing that the books said that Elves and Dwarves these days had perhaps fifteen percent of the bloodline running through then if they were lucky. He moved to follow the other and watched as he picked up the spear made of his fathers remains. It made sense not to hold anything back given this was an unknown territory. "And you'll finally get to see me being aggressive." he said with a smirk moving to stand beside him. He watched as the other create a set of large silvery blue, semi ethereal wings from his back "One of your new spells?" he asked looking at the action he could see the silent question from the other reaching his hand out to him.
He was deadpan on this, he really didn't like the notion of being picked up in any way let alone bridal style and it was written all over his face. Still, after a long moment, he took the others hand "We should get going Satori." he said allowing himself to be picked up if that was what was needed. He hated to fly in general so that is why he took a carriage but when needs must he knew he needed to adapt and so he would.

Satori nodded his head once at Hania's question in regards to the wings.
"My new spells appear to be based around the totems of my clan," a bemused smile formed on his lips, "Though perhaps I'm simply inheriting the magic of the original owner of this element, and I'm simply altering them a bit with my own mana. Who knows." Bemused, he would shrug his shoulders slightly. He saw the dead annoyance in Hania's eyes, but a chuckle formed in his chest when he finally accepted his hand.
"Yes, Dwarven ruins," he finally responded. Hefting Hania up into his arms but at least this time, not outright bridal carrying the teen. Letting Hania put an arm over his shoulders as he was lifted into a one-man carry, even if it was close. At least it maintained some of his dignity. His wings twitched once, before suddenly launching himself upward into the sky.
"It's long gone now, mostly just rubble and some tunnels, but they found some half-decomposed dwarves. At least mostly-full blooded." Another beat of his wings sent him flashing forward. Suddenly bursting into the air before he spun and launched forward. One arm under his legs and the other around Hania's back before launching through the air at high speeds. The wind whipping past them as Satori expanded his mana skin out in a protective barrier. Guarding him from the harsh winds as his eyes focused on the direction they were headed.
"Have you studied dungeons at all, Hania?" Satori inquired curiously. His reaction to the idea of a portal had made him curious. Many Dungeons held portals as entrances, so if he had little experience with them it would make proper sense.

Hania looked to him for a moment and nodded a little "It would make sense that it would be aligned around your culture." he tilted his head to the side and hummed a little "I think the magic even though inherited is reacting your needs and wants." he said not exactly knowing how a changing element worked, he was born with tainted ice magic as far as he viewed it and only ever had that and with Amostia he doubted his magic would change. "Um, how was Asmostia while I was in my coma?" he asked, it was something that had completely slipped his mind while he was recovering. He really hoped he hadn't affected the spirit and if he had he would likely look into breaking their agreement because he didn't want to cause the guardian to act out of his natural persona.
"Yeah, yeah... laugh it up." he groaned a little bit allowed himself to be carried moving his arms around the other's neck and shoulder for support. There was no way that this didn't look innocent, at least in his mind. He turned his head away his cheeks flushing lightly but it may as well have been bright red with how pale his skin was. As they took off it was confirmed that it was dwarven ruins which actually got him wondering as to what to expect going forward. He nodded once "It is understandable, the last full-blooded Dwarf were alive who knows how many generations ago." he said showing he understood "Still, its a pity that such craftsmanship came to an end and that their legacy lays in ruins." he said his tone genuinely sounded disappointed on the matter.
He really didn't like how fast they were going or the wind coming rushing towards him he closed his eyes and turned his body towards the other to prevent the wind affecting his eyes. With how he was being held and how he was holding it could easily have been mistaken as a midflight hug, something that he hadn't even occurred to him even as he was doing it. That might have been a lucky thing as he may have let go in embarrassment. Hearing the question he looked up from the hugged position he currently found himself in. The wind might have lessened but it was still bothering his eyes. "I've read up on some dungeons but I haven't come across any that have had portals I must admit. I'm intrigued about it though" he did seem excited about it, he just wished he was stronger before going somewhere that could potentially kill him. Ah well, it was all good fun and learning at the end of the day.

"Such is the way of life, eventually time catches up to everything," Satori mused, beating the wings again as he shot forward through the air. Glancing downward toward Amostia who flew alongside him contemplating the question as he recalled the pitch-black feathers and hissing. A bemused expression forming across his face.
"Fine," Satori mused, "Not as bad as I thought he'd be, but grumpy," that was all there was to it for Satori, however. Focusing on his flight his wings twitched, sending him bursting forward through the air as his eyes narrowed slightly against the wind. He was used to it combined with his mana skin, but what startled him was Hania suddenly curling his face into his neck. Blinking a few times in confusion, before his lip twitched upward in bemusement.
"How cute you can be," Satori mused with a grin, before flashing forward once more. The wind picking up as his speed increased as the canyon appeared on the horizon. A deep rumble filling his chest as they soared over the badlands.
"There it is," Satori stated with a hum, banking to the side with his wings before landing with a thud at the top of the ridge. Straightening slightly and looking down into it with a hum, before his eyes fell closed. "Let's see if there's any life force, hm?" he mused more to himself than anything. Reaching out with his ki. Initially, he felt nothing, instead the echoes of a harsh battle flooded the air. Echoing up from the canyon, of giant impacts, the sound of shattering stone, explosions, yells of war. Satori's eyes narrowed slightly in confusion as he heard the echo continue to radiate.
The ki was... abnormal. Swirling, as if being radiated from a location but not a specific life form. Twitching his wings, "Hold on, Hania," he warned. Bracing for a moment to let the teen cling to him before he suddenly launched into the air. Flying upward a few feet, then plummeting straight down into the canyon. Wings tucking for speed as Satori's eyes closed. Focusing on the waves of ki. Trying to find their source--before his wings suddenly flashed open. Halting their speed and jerking them back up a few feet.
Satori banked in the canyon, squinting at what was before them. Within the depths of the canyon, there were large chunks of oddly shaped stone. No--
"Corpses," Satori murmured grimly, looking down at the recently uncovered massive skeletons and half-mummified bodies of what he could only describe being giants. Having fought them before, he knew what he was looking at.
"Giants haven't existed in clans this size in hundreds of years, though," Satori murmured, frowning slightly as his mana flowed around him before launching downward toward the nearest corpse. The massive skeleton wore haggard chunks of nearly rusted away metal armor. Carefully setting Hania down, he walked forward. Tracing the edge of the stone around the skeleton and glancing at the piles of rubble and dirt. Satori sucked his teeth in annoyance.
"Graverobbers, maybe archeologists. No wonder the mana zone expanded. They disturbed the dead." Satori released a slow sigh as he straightened, and frowned. "The ki feels odd... like its source is..." Stepping forward he lifted a hand, grasping the massive jawbone of the giant and ripping it free. The crack of ancient tendon filling the canyon and echoing out as he dropped the jaw bone carefully to the side. Before them was a massive, rippling portal where the sounds erupted from once more flooding the canyon with voices and sounds of battle.
"Found it," Satori murmured, shifting his gaze toward Hania and jerking his thumb toward it with a dry chuckle. "Welcome to your first dimensional dungeon, Hania."

Hania nodded once to his word, he knew it was the cycle of things. Everything eventually perished and something new was born from it, it was the nature of the cycle of life and death. "I know, still a shame though." he said trying his best to look around but the wind was still bothering his eyes, also had he known they would be flying, well, at least at this speed he would have tied his hair back as that was also bothering him. Was a little late for that however and so would bare with it, hopefully, they would land soon so he could tie it back because he could already tell this was likely going to be a headache for him.
He could feel Amostia below them flying, it seemed as if he was keeping up with them without too much issue, but then he guessed spirits didn't need to breathe and would always keep up with the ones they were contracted with. "I'm glad he wasn't too bad, I was worried, to be honest." he said to the other his voice sounded off as if he was thinking on something, well, more than he usually would. He was wondering if it was the best thing for him to remain in the contract with the spirit, he knew it made him stronger but was strength really worth what it could cost in the long run? He didn't want to affect another because he was struggling with things. A thought for another time, for now, he would let it rest.
Hearing the man's words to his movements his eyes went wide as his cheeks flushed, the realisation hitting him like a mountain "It's not like that you jerk!" his words showing obvious embarrassment "Put me down!" it was clear he was yet again caught off tilt by the one carrying him but it wasn't like his request could be fulfilled at the moment, even if it could he didn't really know where he was. He remembered the map he saw but even that held only so much information which wouldn't help him in the long run. He tried to turn to be in the position was in originally but he couldn't the wind going into his eyes was too much for him so remained almost hugged into the bear of a man.
He calmed the moment the other pointed out they where they needed to be "Amostia go have a look." he said to the spirit who went to do as requested, he wasn't bonded enough to see through the eyes of the other but he would be able to gain information by what the spirit told him while they flew closer. It was only around a moment later that they themselves landed and the teen instantly drew back the others teasing still on his mind. As he did Amostia landed on his left shoulder, something Hania was starting to get used to. "Would be wise." he said knowing that his sensory wasn't as keen as the other's ki but if needed he it could help. However, he didn't have a traditional mapping spell as his acted more like a track and trace which he didn't see coming in useful any time soon.
He may not have been able to feel like the other but he did feel the pressure within the air and it was quite unsettling to him, it was magical residue perhaps. He bit the bottom of his lip as he had felt something like this when he was in the fringe a while back, he still hadn't told his sister or captain what he had seen as when he did come across them it was a squad vacation. It was something he would have to inform them about that sooner rather than later. He came out of his thoughts when he heard Satori speak "I'm not just about to go wandering off on my own Satori, I'm not that green." he commented, he had slowly started realizing he could speak his mind with those within the Ryuutei and it was fine so longs he was willing to live with the consequences, something he was more than fine with.
He then realised what he meant and moved to hold around Satori's chest only for them to be lifted into the air only a few seconds afterwards making him hold on tighter. With how fast they descended Hania kept his eyes closed and kept his grip though it never tightened, he didn't like the sensation though. He couldn't help but give a gasp as they suddenly stopped, it wasn't something he had been expecting. Taking a moment to catch his breath he opened his eyes and looked around trying to take in every detail that he could. "Something terrible happened here." he said, it wasn't because he had seen anything just yet, it was just a sickening feeling at the pit of his stomach.
Upon hearing Satori's words he looked up for a moment before looking in the direction that he was, at first he just thought them as part of the surroundings but then he looked at the detail. They weren't part of the surroundings, well not naturally anyway. They were as the other had said corpses, mummified remains of men and women much larger than even Eir had been. "Giants?" he said looking back up at the taller male before looking back to the remains once more "I didn't think such people existed outside of fables, myths and legends." it was easy to understand why as Satori himself had said they hadn't been around in clans that size for centuries, but then he guessed even if they did exist now it was a rare occurrence to see them.
He continued to hold on as he felt them going downward again, he was getting sick of the rollercoaster ride he was on and didn't agree to buy a ticket for. He let out a silent sigh, he guessed it couldn't be avoided given the circumstances. They had no information and so had to tread carefully. He let go as he was set down; while watching the other he moved in to take out a white and silver silk cord and tied his hair back. He hated having his hair up but he realised that it might be time for such a thing to happen. Once he had done that he would walk to be standing next to Satori and looked at the mummified remains within their brittle rusted armour. Hania put his hand to his head and grumbled a bit in irritation "And this is why it is a bad idea to mess with the dead." he muttered.
Hania looked at the other for a moment when he spoke about the mana zone expanding due to the dead being disturbed, it seemed familiar to what he had saw in the fringe but different at the same time. 'This was naturally occurring what I saw...' he thought to himself and shook his head not wanting to think about that possibility if he could help it. "Tombs shouldn't be disturbed and the dead allowed their peace uninterrupted." he knew the other didn't mind raising the newly dead, after all, that's what the pinnacle of healing magic could do, he, on the other hand, believed that those who had perished shouldn't be raised at all. It was unfair to them and he didn't want to think about the trauma that could put on a person let alone the price paid to death to release his grip on the person. Death always got his pound of flesh one way or another after all.
He watched what the other was doing but before he could put his hand out to stop him it was already too late. He had ripped the jaw off the giant, the crack of the bone filling the canyon like a pin dropping in an empty room. It was unsettling to be trapped in that sort of echo chamber. Hania looked around hearing the sounds of battle but saw nothing, it was quite odd but he didn't seem panicked, confused... sure but not panicked. He wanted to know how it happened and why but that was his curious mind at work. He hadn't even paid attention to the obviously rippling portal by them.
"Hm?" he'd let out looking at where the other was poking his thumb towards. He had to admit it was an impressive design. Walking up slowly to it he took in the details but still didn't see how it worked "Well after we are done here and if I survive I'll need to understand the mechanics because that way I can use it against annoying family members or make a quick escape from your mother and my nanny." he said with a chuckle as he stood up straight. "I am not going to be the lab rat in this experiment, so, after you." he said doing a somewhat sarcastic bow one hand at his stomach while the other was flat the portal behind him. With that, the pair would indeed enter the unknown and hopefully untouched dungeon.

Satori grunted softly as Hania commented that he wouldn't be a lab rat, laughing to himself. Shaking his head his eyes would soften and pat Hania on the shoulder once in reply. As he did an explosion of mana rocked over Hania, amplifying his speed, power, regenerative abilities, and resistance to curses all at the same time. Similar wings to Satori's own bursting from his shoulders, but more angled. Sharp. As if they were limbs in the shapes of blades.
"We didn't have time to try and teach you how to fly, and with your aversion toward it I'm not even sure you could, sorry Hania," he explained simply on why he'd had to carry the teen before lifting his hands up and flexing his hands a few times. The same spells flowing over him as well. Both Hania and Satori suddenly had a series of various spells enhancing their bodies. Great spectral wings, as well as long silver claws as the shape lions' limbs, coated their own legs hovering just above their clothing. Mana rippled along with them, crackling like the stripes of a tiger reinforcing their body’s speed even further.
Finally around their arms and hands was the glowing aura of a bear’s great limbs and paws, augmenting their physical power even further as the two glowed like two great silver beacons. Light pouring off of them as well as a fine vapor-like substance of flowing aura and mana. Satori lifted his hands up cracking his neck and spinning the spear once as the mana crept up along its surface before compressing into a great bear's open maw around it as well. Replacing the spear's damage with his own brute power for now as his eyes slid down toward Hania.
"I wouldn't let you enter alone anyway. I know you realize how dangerous this may be, unexplored Dungeons are incredibly risky. So I'll just say: Tell me the moment something feels wrong." With that, he smiled at the teen and stepped forward. The portal instantly sucking him away the moment he made contact with it as he and Hania would appear on the other side. Instantly, a war raged around them and Satori cursed to grab Hania by the back of the shirt and flicker to the side just in time for a massive club to smash into the ground where they had just been.
Dust rose around them from the massive feet stomping into the ground. The air wrung with battle-cries in a language he didn't understand, didn't even sound familiar. The air reverberated with the sounds of weapons clashing spells exploding as rubble flew. Shield met blade, and stone met flesh with the bellows of rage and pain. Unfortunately, they were both glowing like beacons of light. There was no avoiding notice. Instantly one of the giants saw them, looking down and releasing a battle-cry as the massive blade lifted above his head. His body was crackling with magic; physical reinforcement magic on a giant?!
Satori’s teeth bared, his pupils dilated and suddenly his mana exploded outward. Flooding the field as his spear spun. Meeting the massive swords head-on as an explosion of power impacted from both sides. There was a moment of strain as his muscles bulged. For the first time since Hania had seen him, Satori was forced to put in effort even with his magic activated. Then he won the clash, his magical power surging as a crack appeared in the sword.
The giant’s eyes widened in shock, mana pulsed through his own limb, casting a spell to infuse his magic at the last minute. Trying to enhance his offensive power that much further--before the sword shattered and the spear slammed through the giant’s side. The impact shattering the thin mana skin and impaling his thick hide. Satori sucked his teeth in annoyance as the massive giant was sent skidding backward. Blood flowing from the deep wound, but it wasn’t lethal.
His actions as well had attracted the attention of two other giants amidst the battle, and Satori sucked his teeth in annoyance. Shifting the spear in his hand and setting Hania down carefully before flipping the spear several times.
“Their magic means nothing with your speed now, Hania. Get in close and use the wings to hamper them, stay at a distance from them and distract them. With my spells, you can kill one of them with some effort.” Satori spun the spear a final time--before suddenly hurling it. The explosion of raw force smashing into the giant he’d already targeted and sent it skidding back with the spear buried in its chest. A bellow of pain filling its lips. Even after that it wasn’t dead?!
“By the spirits,” Satori muttered, modern giants were nothing compared to this. His hand opened as the large bear claws manifested before he flashed forward. Trusting Hania to use his new speed to avoid attacks. He’d be safe as long as he remained within at least ten meters of Satori. The man beat his wings once, flashing through the wall of muscle in an instant as he turned sideways to slide between the two giants.
As he passed them, the wings snapped open. Shattering the giant’s mana skin and carving two deep gashes into their sides. Causing them to bellow in pain and stumble, leaving them both moderately injured before Satori’s foot smashed into the chest of the giant that had fallen to his knees. Spear buried in his chest, grasping at it weakly. Gritting his teeth, trying to pull it outright as the massive lion-shaped foot smashed into his hand.
Shattering the limb, and breaking several ribs as the shock smashed him into the ground. Sending cracks splintering across it as, finally, the giant lay still. Dead after three direct hits? This didn’t even appear to be a commander, it was just a foot soldier. But where some would feel despair, some would feel unease, Satori’s lips slowly curled upward into a wide grin. His hand grasped the hilt of the spear, yanking it free as the two giants he’d injured turned their attention to Hania.
Long blade and axe lifting, though they had no chance of keeping up with Hania in the slightest. But suddenly they had even less chance of doing so as they jerked in shock as a deep bellow flooded the entire area. A sound like beast and man as the roar echoed across the battlefield, and within that scream came a chill of a predator. Every giant flinches, cold sweat breaking out on their flesh as the roar echoed throughout the entire canyon.
Every creature within this Dungeon heart the battle cry of the Ryuutei. Every creature knew itself to no longer be predator, but prey. The giants slowed, their focus turned toward Satori in a mixture of fear and confusion and as Satori lowered his head from his battle-cry a wild grin split his features.
How long since he’d felt the rush of true battle? How long since he’d felt pushed? How long since something had gotten back up after he’d hit them once with his magic? The spear spun as the large man faced the men and women that towered over him. Yet every single one felt as if they were the ones looking up. Satori suddenly pointed directly at the one to Hania’s left.
“Hania, you get that one. You can do it. Trust me.” Satori stated with a wild grin, before suddenly flickering from sight and re-appearing above the other that he’d injured. Spear slamming into the Giant’s head full force. Sending it bouncing head over heels into the ground as Satori instantly re-appeared mid-air above the same giant. His foot smashing into its chest as the sickening sound of organs rupturing and bones snapping filled the air. A crater erupting around the giant’s corpse as he landed. The shockwave slamming into two others, sending one bouncing along the ground. Uninjured but mana skin shattered.
But the other was less lucky as the impact struck his already-injured side. Causing the one Satori had told Hania he could handle to double over, his leg broken and side gashed open. Yet the giant’s eyes still glimmered with a keen desire to kill and fight to the last. True warriors. Satori’s grin spread across his lips once more as he straightened. With Satori’s magic enhancing him, he knew Hania could defeat the already-injured giant warrior. That left the remaining three, and the bigger one that was now approaching to see what had halted his battle.
Yanking the spear out of the corpse of the giant beneath him he shifted into an offensive stance, ready to begin his engagement with the next wave of the monstrous opponents.

Hania chuckled himself hearing the other laugh, he was up for adventure, learning and a good fight it didn't mean he was suicidal and would go headfirst into a dungeon that no one knew anything about. The teen would grin contently as he was once again patted on the shoulder, but unlike when they were at Satori's home it seemed as if he had triggered several effects on the youth. He felt almost as if he was lighter on his feet which of course would make him faster. His body felt like it was filled with adrenaline making him feel as if he could take on the world making him stronger. He felt as if his own fatigue and weariness were gone from his body, it had never felt as good as it did in that moment. It was disconcerting as he knew this was likely going to bite him in the ass later.
He looked down to his hands he almost looked worried and confused, he knew that the magic Satori had put on him had made him stronger but still this strength he had. He knew it wasn't natural to his body as it had never wielded such power before but somehow, somehow it felt natural to him all at the same time. The teen was starting to think he was losing his marbles. He hadn't noticed the wings burst from his back, at least not at first. It would take Satori himself talking for him to look behind him and notice the silvery-blue ethereal like wings. "Just because I choose not to fly doesn't mean I can't do it, nor does it mean I have an aversion to it." he said shaking his head a little
"I prefer not to fly if I can help it because if the gods had intended it they would have given us wings so I tend to keep my feet on the ground." It really was as simple as that to him. He knew flying would make travel so much quicker but at the same time, he would rather a slower carriage to it, especially with how his health could be. "There's no reason to apologise for it Satori, it was a wrong assumption but given my mannerisms, I can understand why you made it." he smiled, it was clear he didn't hold it against the other and never would. "My health is one of the leading factors as to why I don't fly." he wasn't ashamed of this weakness, everyone was flawed and he knew this was just one of his. The fact he was even a magic knight was a surprise but then he got in through the proverbial back door thanks to Lydia.
It was actually due to that fact he trained as hard as he did, he wanted to make up for his weaknesses and prove to both his sister and captain they could trust him when it mattered. He looked at himself with all the aspects of the totems and chuckled "We must look like a science experiment with all these different parts." it was clear it wasn't meant as an insult, he was enjoying himself even if he knew this was going to likely be stronger than what he was ready for he wasn't going to turn tail and leave. He wanted to do this, just for the thrill to see if he could make it to the other end alive. "I am aware." he laughed it was clear he was completely relaxed at the moment, it was night and day from when he was in the village. Everything such as expectations slipped away and what was left was what was under the mask when he wasn't affected by his ailments and barriers.
"I felt there was something wrong when we initially got here so you'll need to be more specific on that." he let out a hearty laugh knowing if he felt it so did the other, he had already mentioned as such. He nodded knowing that this was the time to get serious, he walked forward with Satori and touched the portal, it was just like walking through a door as he didn't feel any different.
Floor 1, Room 1
He would have looked behind him to see the portal but the world around him was filled with fighting, an obvious war was happening around them. It wasn't as if he or Satori were missable they were giant glowing lightbulbs. "Well, this is interesting." he said looking up to the other from the side of his eyes as the back of collar was grabbed and be pulled back just as a club landed where he had been standing. He wasn't about to go running in but he could understand being dragged back given the threat. "Yup, not quite ready to become a pancake but thank you for almost making the way I want to leave this world a reality." he said with a grin his eyes looking up to Satori "Thanks for the save." he knew he'd have to be more alert so started putting out his senses but with everything going on the waves of mana were clashing, he really didn't like it. "There's too much chaos in here."
Hania listened to the battle cries, his hand going to his head for a moment. It wasn't painful well not the normal pain he was use to anyway. "That... that doesn't sound good." he said looking up to the taller man "The order to kill us has been given." he said "Well to be exact they've been told to squash the bugs." he had no idea how he understood the language but it was there. As the club landed he managed to keep his balance well, even if there had been a small earthquake or so it had seemed. He moved back a little as the enemy moved to attack, he hadn't taken a defensive stance he was still relaxed he kept an eye of the movements of the clunking monstrosities heading towards them.
He actually looked bored as if the enemy was more of an annoyance than anything else but then he smirked, he felt excited it had been the first time since he was little he had felt it. The thrill of not knowing what is going to happen or even if he would survive the battle. As Satori let his mana flare and move to attack the first to the giant he took off flying above, the speed and freedom felt natural to him it was again an odd sensation as he had never moved quickly on his own accord. 'What in the god's names is going on with these sensations.' he thought to himself 'Concentrate' he heard through his bond from Asmostia but even before he had said anything Hania had seen the attack forward and dodged the club before spinning and kicking it to the point it was knocked out of the giant's hand.
He was surprised that he had managed to do that, but then the enemy hadn't expected someone so small and frail, so wasn't holding on to it as steadfast as it likely could have. He just clicked his tongue a bit as he moved between the enemies as if he was some sort of annoying bug, he knew it was risky what he was doing but he needed to see what he could do and keep a few of these meatheads busy while keeping an eye on Satori to know just how strong these things were. He had seen everything that the first enemy had taken in damage but it was standing. He sucked in a breath between his teeth "They're slow but can not only take a good few hits but likely hit like a meteor." he said more to himself than anyone else. His mana skin was stronger than before he started training with Satori but he knew full well if he took a hit head-on from one of these things his ticket was being punched out.
"I know this is my first real fight Satori but you are like a mother hen." he grinned dodging a fireball that was being thrown at him "You and Lydia hold back when training me, these things are out for my blood and I'm not giving them the satisfaction." his voice was cold as he moved in quickly to land a strike on the shoulder of the one closest to him before making a hasty retreat, he had managed to shatter the armour a bit but it wasn't enough to breakthrough. "For all that is holy!" he cussed before flying up more dodging fire bolts, he realised they weren't the most imaginative bunch but then they didn't need to be with the strength they possessed. Getting to a decent hight he divebombed barrel rolling to the left, honesty wishing that he had defensive magic at that point but he hadn't. He managed to find an opening in the sternum and planted his foot squarely in the middle of the giant's chest.
He found himself lucky that Satori had managed to take down not one but two of the enemies and take out the mana skin of the one he was currently fighting, before going to deal with a fourth. The foot had not only damaged the armour but a sickening crack was heard as the rib cage seemed to bend inwards. With that done he pushed off but using the wings for momentum managed to put his other foot right to the throat of the giant, the momentum that he was going at was not only enough to crush the windpipe of the enemy but force the monstrous thing to fall back. A smirk was on Hania's face, he was unsure if the thing was dead or not but he knew thanks to the enhancements given by Satori's magic it wouldn't be getting up any time soon.
With a fluid movement, he went towards the injured troll, this time he didn't use his body movements instead he flew right past it, the wings faintly touching the things skin and almost tearing cutting its arm off in the process. He continued flying watching as the newly slain were around them, he had been lucky because he had watched but if these were just the warm-up he didn't want to guess what was going to be next. "I really need to get a new jian sword made, it would make this so much easier." he complained, the last one he had was from when he was younger and was what he used for training but he needed something that he could wield as he grew which meant a new one would have to be made. It all felt so natural to him but he had no idea why he felt invigorated though.
"I do trust you Satori, if I didn't I wouldn't let you pick me up and I most certainly wouldn't be here." he moved to land next to him. "Faith, trust, love and respect, these are all earned and I'm hoping to have at least one of them by the end of whatever this clusterfuck of a mess is." he said waving his hand out a bit towards the dead around them a giant grin on his own face. It might be chaotic and messy but it was peaceful at the same time, it made him feel at peace with something that had been almost sealed away for thirteen years and for now he felt a bit more balanced than he had in a long while. Satori would be able to tell unlike every other time when he had been defensive or done hybrid stances right now he wasn't holding back.
"I'm unsure if I killed that other one but um... I crushed it's windpipe so there's a good chance of it." he said looking in front of them seeing more of the giants coming "They really don't sound happy, something about them being weaklings and they're going to enjoy pulling our limbs off like wings off a bat. Charming." he said looking up at Satori as he retrieved his spear "We'll need to have a chat when we have a second Satori, but right now doesn't seem to be it." With that, he would get ready for their next encounter alongside Satori.

Satori shouldn't of worried about Hania in the end after all. A bemused grin split his features as the man spun the spear once watching Hania flicker from one target to the next until the giant came crashing down. One no longer moving, the other struggling, panting through broken teeth as blood spilled from its lips. Injured, but not yet dead.
"Well done, Hania," he stated proudly, before spinning the spear and slamming it into the sword-hand of the next giant that had managed to clear the distance to them. The impact shattered the wrist instantly, causing a bellow of pain that ended as Satori's knee smashed into its chest. Hitting even harder, moving even faster now that he was attacking.
"Come on then!" Satori laughed, his fist cloaked in the bear-like shape smashing into the side of the giant's head. Sending it crashing to the side as he landed with a thud to the ground. The body of the giant warrior he'd killed causing the other to pause in their assault. Hania's translation caused him to arch a brow.
It was akin to the other languages the teen knew. Even dead ones. Something to consider later, instead, he bounced the spear on his shoulder lightly and allowed a wide grin to form across his lips.
"Let's show them that the wings are a bit too sharp for them to pluck, then," he stated, amused. Trusting Hania to handle the injured one before him. There were now four dead, one injured, with one remaining standing warily next to the largest of the giants. Stomping forward and towering over them all as his shadow covered Satori. The giant snorted once, before lifting the massive Warhammer up to his shoulder. Jabbing his thumb toward himself his voice rumbled out through the air.
"Fangor." The voice rumbled, clearly a name. Satori grunted and grinned, understanding this introduction for what it was as his spear lifted. Aiming its point at the large boss calmly.
"Satori," he replied, causing the giant to grunt, before slamming the Warhammer down like a building falling from the sky. Satori spun the spear and slammed his hand upward. The explosion and shockwave from his fist matching Fangor's own filling the air as Satori's pupils dilated. The impact rocking through his limb as a laugh-filled his chest, a crater bursting around them.
The bastard was actually physically stronger than him. Not by much, and he wasn't fully warmed up, but in sheer physical power, he was superior. But...
Satori's arm clenched as mana surged up his limb, and exploded. His punch cracking the hammer and sending Fangor skidding back with a grunt of surprise at the magical surge. Satori straightened, cracking his neck as the other giant came swinging from the side, only for her club to be cut in half. With it, her arm was removed by a swing of his wing. The shock hitting her shortly after body twitching as she passed out. Likely soon to die from blood loss.
The woman screeched in pain, falling backward clenching the stump, and cursing in her tongue as Fangor straightened. Sucking his teeth and lifting his now damaged Warhammer once more. Blood dripped from his hands, his mana skin had been shattered and his flesh torn by the clash of power. Now, Satori simply grinned as suddenly blood spit from his arms as well.
Fangor grunted in confusion, before looking down at the glowing feathers embedded in his arms and sides. Cursing as he focused on Satori, realizing the man had hit him with them the same moment he'd countered the attack. Flipping the spear once he lowered into an offensive stance. Wings flaring out behind him, eyes narrowing on his prey.
The same giant Hania had already injured similarly bellowed in pain, the same silver feathers sticking out of its flesh from them buried inside it. Impaling it a dozen times over as Satori grinned. He trusted Hania to finish that one off, while he handled the final boss.

He can choose to charge this spell, augmenting the power even further through the [Build-Up] Perk. This can be used on another but requires skin contact in order to place it on another, it can then be maintained in the normal range [150m] limits of the spell.

Hania turned his head a grin creeping across his face as he heard the giant he felled panting and clearly struggling each it breath it took through gritted teeth. "Well, I'll be damned." he said rubbing the back of his head "They're tough bastards." he said as it were a surprise but it just made him happy to see that it had survived a direct hit to the throat as such an attack would kill most things. He looked at it, slowly getting up blood running from its mouth and pooling of the ground. At least he had managed to kill one of them, even if it had been injured beforehand it was still proof he was getting stronger but then he was pretty sure it was because all of the enhancements on his body.
"Was there any doubt Satori?" he laughed completely happy as if all his normal restraints, chains and barriers were none existent. It would seem like they weren't done just yet. He could tell the man was proud of him but then he likely had sensed that he was holding back, not wanting to commit or show things due to what his own society was telling him what he needed to behave and act. What he was showing was who he was truly when he wanted to lift his mask himself. He watched as Satori made short work of the fifth giant. The woman's wrist shattering with a sickening sound "Eep, that sounded like it hurts." The white-haired youth commented as the giantess bellowed in pain. It hadn't stopped there, he moved in instantly his knee making contact instantly his strikes becoming faster as he continued the onslaught.
Hania watched the want to call 'timber' as it came crashing down flowing through his head but he remained silent. It was one thing to enjoy fighting and a completely different thing to mock a warrior who had their life ended in battle. It was nothing more than disrespectful and even now he wasn't like that. He could feel the eyes of the other on him as he translated what was being said "Don't ask me how I know it, I just do." he said his voice stoic knowing that that question would eventually be haunting him. He knew it was something he would need to find out because it hadn't been the first time it had happened in his life and doubted it would be the last.
Hearing his word he gave a single nod "Gladly." it was that simple, he wanted to feel the rush that battle gave him. He took off once more, he knew that the one he had injured would be left with him while Satori would deal with the big ugly at the back. It suited him fine, as even if he understood if he was hit more than once by these things he was going down and wouldn't be getting back up again. Dying wasn't exactly on his agenda for the day but accidents could happen to put a dampener on things if he wasn't careful. As Satori headed towards his challenge he had noticed the gasping giant had gotten back to his feet and it looked pissed. Then again he couldn't exactly blame it, it had been fallen by a shorter, weak-looking, pretty boy. He heard it try to get out a scream like battle cry but failed in spectacular fashion.
Flying up once more and watched Satori for a moment, it would seem as if the giantess closest the strongest of them had died of blood loss and fell due to her injuries. He heard Fangor and Satori exchange names and knew its meaning, he now paid no mind to it more so as a hurricane-like wind was sent his way. It took him a second to dodge it and stabilize himself as the attack seemed not only to do damage but disorientate him, he wasn't having that. Flying forward he dodged sharp blades of wind, though his clothing seemed to not be as lucky as parts of it got shredded but still he landed an elbow into the giant's face making it stumble back a few steps. Hania took the time to capitalize by changing the direction of his momentum, doing this made the wings cut into the leather-like skin almost cutting off the arm clean of his enemy.
With this done he quickly landed only to push off his feet as the severely injured giant was cussing out in pain holding on to its arm, while trashing about with the dangling part of its arm almost smacking him with it. Hania still managed to land an uppercut but he got hit with a glancing blow. It wasn't enough to do the full damage to him but he knew his mana shield had taken quite the dent. No sooner than it had been hurt thanks to the healing spells that were over his body it had begun to heal, he watched as the giant stumbled backwards into what looked like a shoddily made pillar crashing through it. Hania landed and walked over to the giant closing its eyes "May you find peace in what is next to come." he whispered as if some sort of prayer. With that done he looked at Fangor and Satori.
"You'll regret being born when I'm done with you insect. Is the rough translation" he called out to Satori, he couldn't interfere in this. It was a challenge given and accepted so the best thing he could do was play translator for the one that he was allied with while watching and learning from the fight that would be taking place in front of him.

June might have travelled with Satori to see the new dungeon he'd told her about. However, the young woman had made the mistake of telling her lady-in-waiting about her intention to go and explore Titan's Rest.
"Absolutely not!"
"I'll be with Satori, you know he would never let irreparable harm come to me, though I wonder how weak you must think I am," the Magic Knight replied, sending the redhaired woman a faux hurt look.
"That's not why I protest and you know it! You keep testing the limits of your strength by following that man into increasingly dangerous situations! The more powerful you grow, the more danger you seek without regard to your own health and safety! You haven't even recovered from the Naming Ceremony," Autumn protested.
"Dear woman," June pinched the bridge of her nose, "thine voice is but a breeze about my ears, a cold irritant. I intend to go and see dungeon with or without thy consent. Whilst thou apply force to apprehend me? I should think not! Hast thou lost all respect due my station merely because I choose to live among the Ryuutei? Has thine memory grown feeble and thin?"
The change in her tone and wording made it clear enough that the silvery-blue-haired woman was beginning to grow annoyed with her lady-in-waiting's stifling protectiveness.
A loud clap sounded in the room as Autumn's hand connected with June's cheek. "How dare you address me in that manner! Regardless of our station, who was it that raised you? You most certainly relied on me from the moment you were weaned."
The Silva didn't answer. She called upon her magic to surround Autumn with a dome of water. "I shall forgive this behavior once. I am no longer that that thy had the power to bend over one's knee."
Without further words, June turned and left Satori's house. Water surrounded her feet as she called upon River Step to escort her in the direction that her intended one had indicated to her. After passing through the jungles and forests that bordered Ryuu and moving deeper into the Forsaken Region, the Magic Knight reached out with her senses in search of her love's life force, his Ki. For a time, she was able to sense it if only faintly.
Tailing after her love, June wasn't quite able to catch up with him because his wings gave him greater speed than River Step could manage. Nevertheless, she came to an area that was dominated by mountainous terrain. Large bones, likely belonging to giants could be found at the feet of some mountains. Some of the bones appeared to have been excavated by a team of adventurers or archaeologists. Perhaps the disruption of the giants' eternal rest had given rise to this place. The short Silva didn't linger for long, pursuing the ever-fading ki signature of her beloved.
Suddenly, June noticed she was growing closer to Satori's location and that someone was with him, though she didn't know whom. The petite woman wondered whom else her love had brought along for the journey. She knew that Eve was busy training and couldn't be the person accompanying Satori (and the signature didn't match the purple haired woman's ki). Before the Silva could figure it out, both ki signatures vanished.
There had been no sign of distress or intention to harm. Thus, June concluded they had likely moved into an area where her senses could no longer reach. With that in mind, the Magic Knight made her way towards the pair's last known location, where she discovered a portal framed by the massive bones of one of the bodies that had been unearthed. Without hesitating, June stepped through.
The feeling of passing through a portal was a strange one, making her surroundings blur together and shimmer all at once. Once the world around her settled, June noticed that she could feel Satori's ki quite clearly. She found her love and the source of the other ki signature.
River Step surged forward before coming to rest beside Hania.
"It is a pleasant surprise to see you here, Hania." June offered the man a brief smile before turning to examine the carnage that he and Satori had caused. As expected, there were several giant corpses, many missing limbs or even large portions of their torsos. Some bore wounds with feathers sticking out of them.
"It appears I may have missed some of the fun," the noblewoman remarked with amusement. "If not for my overbearing lady-in-waiting I would have arrived with the two of you. Before you 'Lady Silva' me, we are far from the eyes and ears of anyone who is concerned with such niceties. We could be considered colleagues at the very least. Just call me June. Or flower, you seem to enjoy that moniker as well."
The Silva waited for Satori to finish his fight with the remaining giant, not wanting to interrupt the lightning mage. Judging by the excitement and fervor she could sense from his ki, her love was enjoying himself quite thoroughly. It wasn't often that June got to see her intended one having such fun.
