Nairn was a quaint place in the common regions Amelia reconfirmed in her mind as she stepped outside the church building and made her way to a horse driven carriage. Concluding there business at the dungeon Thaddeus and Amelia headed towards the healing gardens of Undine coming from the forsaken region. It had been there Amelia waited with Thaddeus as the delivery of the crystal orb he took was delivered to Nairn ahead of them as they took a day to rest and recover. Now, Amelia was waiting for Thaddeus to say his goodbye's to the church members of this order, Amelia had been asked a few times if she was associated with the church and she expressed her desire to join the order of Salamander, some of the members seemed sad but happy another member of the church was found within there walls.
"Thaddeus, it's time to go." Amelia said calm with a soft smile, set up by Thaddeus the day they had rested Amelia was now going to head back to Nairn with him where a priest of the order of Salamander had arrived, already in the area Amelia, if she was judged as someone righteous enough and of good faith, would go with him to her basic training and begin her life as the member of the church's fighting sect. Getting on the carriage first Amelia would offer Thaddeus a hand up and then sat down, after a quick check Amelia would make sure everything was in place and then look at Thaddeus, "Once you're ready say the word." Amelia sat as her hands folded upon each other and she relaxed into her seat.
Upon Thaddeus telling her he was ready to go Amelia would let the driver know that it was okay to move forward, a bit of silence staining the air around them for a bit Amelia did wonder how today's affairs would go, would they reject her? would they be suspicious? test her? reticule her? she didn't know and she did feel a slight bit of nervous anxiety, she attempted to look out into the forest taking a solemn deep breath and equally long exhale.

Once the Spring Deacon had accomplished his goal of delivering the orb that he had obtained within the hulking behemoth of a walking dungeon, Thaddeus would begin to make his way back towards the carriage. At least that had been the intention initially. While had had understood what it was that Amelia had been hoping to accomplish, he was beginning to feel as though she was going about the entire thing in a roundabout way. There was no point in traversing all the way out to another territory to meet up with a member of the Church when they had just come back from their own little expedition. If anything, it would have been easier for them to have summoned a Spear of Salamander to the garden that they had been resting in. Figuring that he would simply trust the judgement of the soon to be nun though, Thaddeus would opt to remain quiet.
Several days of traveling would occur as the horse drawn carriage would take the Spring Deacon and his companion back towards Nairn. Once they had finally arrived, Thaddeus would begin to head off towards the Church that had dwelled within the center of the town. "You know that we didn't really have to come all the way out here, right? We could have handled all of this back in the garden. I suppose that it's alright though. There is someone that will be meeting us here, after all, that I am hoping to introduce you to. Someone that is quite important to me." With his peace said and done, Thaddeus would eventually guide the huntress through the various corridors within the church. After a few minutes of treading through the building, the duo would stop just outside of a room that had a closed door. "Both the Priest that you are supposed to meet and a dear friend of mine will be just beyond this door. I would recommend preparing yourself in any which way that you can. This entire ordeal might take a bit longer than one might expect." Taking a moment to turn about and face Amelia, the Spring Deacon would offer the girl a reassuring smile. "I have all of the faith in you, Amelia." A single hand would reach forward before slightly brushing against the girls cheek. "No matter what they ask of you, you've got this."
Figuring that he had done as much as he could to reassure the huntress, Thaddeus would return his focus to the door and begin to push it open. The Spring Deacon couldn't help but allow for his features to soften as he had spotted his dear friend within. Two figures could be seen within the room if one were to take a look inside. One of them had been an older gentleman with crimson red hair and a bit of a goatee whilst the other had been a beautiful elven lass, with snow white hair and silver eyes, whom had been dawned in the garb of a nun. Each of the individuals that had been within the room had been sitting at the guest seats that had been positioned to face a singular desk. It was only upon hearing the sound of the door opening that the two would cease to speak and would turn about to see just what it was that had been going on. "Thaddeus!"
Having caught the eye of the Spring Deacon, the elven lass would immediately break out into a smile and would than jump over her chair and rush towards Thaddeus. Just as quickly as the woman had managed to get there, which had been almost instantly, the silver haired woman would pull Thaddeus into a tight hug. Her cheeks had been dyed a crimson hue as she had begun to hug the Spring Deacon and the smile on her face had been quite evident. Thaddeus honestly hadn't been expecting this reaction from his companion and yet he couldn't help but reciprocate the hug in his own way. A single hand would begin to slide around the woman's waste as Thaddeus had brought her closer and returned the hug. "It's good to see that you've made it, Drusilia."
Not quite wishing for things to get any more awkward than they already had for him in this moment, the crimson haired priest would begin to awkwardly cough. "Er... Right. Hello there Thaddeus. I take it that this young miss is she who wishes to join the church?" The fact that this had been exactly whom the priest had been speaking of should have been obvious to the Summer Priest. It is due to how obvious this fact should have been that Thaddeus would have to allow for a soft sigh to escape from his lips. The fact that he would have to spell everything out for this man was already kind of draining. At least this process would allow for Amelia to join the church in the capacity that she had so desired. Taking a moment to pull away from the elven priestess, whom had quite desperately been trying to maintain her grasp on the Spring Deacon, Thaddeus would begin to nod. "Why of course, Aedolus. This is Amelia and she is hoping to join your faction of the church. If it wasn't for that fact, I am sure that I would have brought her under my wing." The Spring Deacon's gaze would slowly begin to drift towards Amelia as his smile would begin to soften even further. "She is quite wonderful after all. Surely one that I would have loved to have under me."
The words that Thaddeus had been speaking would cause Drusilia's ears to burn. In her eyes, Thaddeus had been hers. She had gone as far as to separate herself from the Spears of Salamander so that she could spend more time with the Spring Deacon and she had absolutely refused to allow any other individual to take that place away from him. Even if her own rank had been above his, Drusilia had claimed Thaddeus as her own. She wasn't about to just allow for some newcomer to waltz into his life and act as though everything was all well and good. Not that she would ever mention any of this aloud. When she was near Thaddeus, Drusilia had intended on acting prim and proper. If she had ever found herself alone with this Amelia woman though... She was sure that she would have quite a few choice words for her.

Amelia and Thaddeus had gone to the garden of undine to deliver Alesis Pendragon, the man they found to the church to get the rest of whatever curse or restraint magic he was still undergoing, this would be the second order Amelia ever visited and then she imagined. She would be heading to her third and personal order of choice soon enough. However Amelia was holding a secret, one she was hiding from Thaddeus, she had requested to go back to Nairn and then requesting a member of the faith to initiate her. In truth, she was stalling. Amelia had done enough talk with others to know the church wasn't pleased with hex users, they weren't immediately executed but it seemed to be a ill omen to some while to others it was a type of magic usage that twisted the magic of the sprits into something unsavory, from her simple understanding of the topic.
Although she had more than hex magic, her attack magic was decent but at heart she loved using her spells to weaken her opponents while she got stronger and overcame them, perhaps that was rather bullying of her but Amelia never thought of it as such but thinking of how the church would respond. Definitely scared her. So, using the time of stalling Amelia trained day and night for as long as she had on her mana control, refining her moves and in the process she unlocked a new skill and her grimoire had even more magic spells before, she supposed her training runt finally blossomed.
"I know. Sorry but, I needed to train. I know the church isn't fond of hex magic so I took the extra time to refine my attack magic and I think I even learned that golem thing you do. Someone important thought of yours? That must be quite the character. can't wait to meet them~" Amelia said as she took a deep breath in and relaxed. Perhaps it was in Thaddeus nature but if he felt something would be tough it was always in his nature to give a warning but this time his hand gently brushed her cheek, a slight flush flowing across her cheeks Amelia gave a bold grin as one of her hands laid on top of Thaddeus own, "Thank you Thaddeus, I prepared for this and I believe I'm ready thanks to you're help."
Perhaps a second or maybe a minute Amelia wasn't counting she finally let go of Thaddeus hand to refocus her mind as she nodded at him to open the door to her next page in life, or perhaps not at all. Opening the door they were instantly meet with the sight of two figures, male and female. The male had been older and he had a goatee, however the female was..Amelia instantly felt a tinge of jealousy as she thought the girl was obviously more beautiful than her. And then the fateful moment, Amelia tried not to react but she couldn't as the girl ran up to Thaddeus giving him a hug, Amelia hadn't moved from the door and maybe a bit creepy she was smiling while teeming inside.
The only thing that pulled her out in that moment was the voice of the older male she assumed was the priest Thaddeus spoke of as he asked if she was the one that wished to join the church. "Yes that would be me Priest." Amelia answered as she took a step forward to beside Thaddeus as the deacon himself clarified that she in fact did want to join the church but more specifically in the priest order, order of Salamander. An order in which the girl was also in, great..
"It is as he said Priest, I wish to join the order of Salamander I want to be of aid to the church, please.." Amelia said as a small bead of swear rolled down the side of her head hidden by her hair. "Hmmm.." The priest looked at her up and down, walked closer and began circling her, "What type of magic do you use?" The priest asked wondering if she would be ideal for the order of salamanders main duty of cult and undead disposal. "Attack magic" "Good" "Golem Creation.." "Excellent." Amelia paused, she tried to say the words but they choked at her throat. "Hex magic.." At that the Priest would stop and look at Thaddeus for a moment as this had been a bit sprung on him. Looking back at Amelia he would then take careful step forward until he was a foot or a half away from her as he looked her into the eye, "The order frowns on hex users, however we do accept them if we believe they could be used for good. But why? Why should I do that for you? Why should I trust someone like you to enter the order of Salamander?"
This was the moment Amelia had been pondering for days, she knew why she was joining the church but was the reason deep enough, could she truely commit to the church? The last days leading to this very moment left her conflicted but right now..she was most confident that her answer, right or wrong wouldn't leave her with an ounce of regret! "Priest, Thaddeus.. Drusilly" Oh yes, Amelia did that on purpose. "My name is Amelia Hades, I didn't always used to know this but.. the Hades family is one that lives in the fringe in she shadowlands of a grand magic zone, perhaps you heard of it.." Amelia started, "I have never seen or heard of another Hades, not any that I could remember as I have lost all of my family memories, even of my parents. However! I learned that the Hades family is a family dedicated to living in the most pitch black, grim situations imaginable while still doing the world a service of vanquishing any evil without so much as a thank you throughout the kingdom.
I don't know what type of nun I will become or beyond that yet, I try to take things day to day.. but, I would like to be the type of nun in the order of Salamander to fight in the name of the spirits while honoring my families honor of serving without reward"

As Aedolus would turn to look at Thaddeus for approval, the Spring Deacon would nod once more. He hadn't known all that much about Amelia's hex magic but the fact that he could trust her had remained true. At least that had been the case in his eyes. Drusilia on the other hand hadn't been sure on whether or not she could trust this newcomer. Some random woman that had just managed to snake their way into Thaddeus's life. To the elven priestess, this woman had been just as bad as a witch! An elven witch perhaps but a witch nonetheless. "It's Drusilia you rotte-" Before the elven priestess could finish what she was about to say, Thaddeus would be sure to silence her by quickly grasping ahold of her hand. Having her hand grasped had immediately silenced the elven priestess as her cheeks would return to being a deep red hue. "..not now Drusilia. Allow for the girl to speak, if you'd please." All that the Spring Deacon would receive in return was but a brief nod.
Although he wouldn't go out of his way to mention it until after Amelia had finished speaking, Aedolus did have a few choice thoughts about the Hades family. From what he had heard of the family in the past, there were several qualities that the family members tended to embody that might go against the church's ideals. "Yes, of course.. I should have realized the possibility of you using such profane magic once I had seen your surname. House Hades is known for raising mercenaries and spies whose only acceptable form of mercy is death. Is that what you seek here Amelia? To spy on our church and sell it's secrets to the highest bidder? Or to simply spread death?!" What the Summer Priest had been trying to get across was an intimidation factor but these were genuinely questions that he had been asking of her. In the eyes of the Summer Priest, he could only trust this girl due to the good word that Thaddeus and Letari had put in for her. There was no real reassurance that she hadn't been here to accomplish exactly the things that he had been asking of her.
Beginning to feel as though Aedolus was verbally attacking Amelia, Thaddeus had decided to try and intervene. So as to shield her away from the vile words that Aedolus had been sprouting in her general direction, Thaddeus had begun to try and move in between the two of them. That had been the plan anyways but one that would easily become incomplete. Before he could move anything more than a few inches away from her, the elven priestess would tighten her grip on Thaddeus's hand and would pull him back. His back would bump slightly into her chest as she would lean forward and whisper something into his ear. "You can't keep rushing out to defend everyone, Thaddeus. If she aims to prove herself than she is going to have to do it on her own." The Spring Deacon had found the words that his superior had spoken to be true and, despite how much he had wished to intervene in this moment, he would ultimately decide to remain silent and watch what the girl would do in this moment.

Amelia wasn't used to confrontation of this level, most of her confrontations being short and ultimately not as important to her at this one, but this one decision she really wanted, and like most things in life, the things one wanted most were always difficult to achieve, for a hex user such as herself to join the order of the church, that was going to be no small task and she knew that.
So when the Priest asked her why, Amelia had prepared an answer in advance, one she could digest even if it ended up being wrong but she really had hoped that one answer would be the end of it, finishing her talk she was sure she might have nailed it but she didn't, in fact it was probably the worst scenario. Whilst her research on the House of Hades only told about them doing things all over the Kingdom of Clover, she hadn't known they worked similar to mercenaries. But it wasn't that realization that made Amelia visibly go pale, but hearing the words, "The only acceptable mercy is death huh..." She heard it before, she repeated it sometimes in her waking life, her dreams, it was something that almost haunted her, mere words given life by her own fear of it.
Taking deep breaths she realized she was having a bit of a freak out, something she haunted her was actually something of a family creed? Was the Hades family not good like she thought? That was a bit of a shock to her she admit. Looking back at Thaddeus Amelia stared at him for a second, taking a deep breath and then slowly nodded, she was thrown off but she was firm in her belief that she belonged to the church and she was going to tell them why. "No, I am no spy, just a simple huntress that made the forests of clover my home since I lost my memory. I heard those words in my dreams, "Death is the only acceptable form of mercy" I do not believe it. There are many forms of mercy before death, if one can co-exist like the animals in the forest than a certain worldly balance could be achieved. "
Taking a step forward towards the Priest Amelia looked him firmly in the eye, "My magic may look profane to you. But if fire magic as beautiful as it looks can leave an ugly scar, then why can't hex magic as profane as it is, be used to spread more good than suffering? I won't ask for any handouts Priest, I just want the chance to spread good will and keep the Clover Kingdom safe with the order of Salamander.
"If you're so endowed to fight, why not join the magic knights, they have no qualms with hex users, wouldn't it have been easier to join them? Why the Church?" Amelia paused as she thought but the answer came quick, "I was convinced your cause was just, that and from a strategic view point I think we all know in this room the church doesn't have enough strong order members to spread the work in Clover equally meaning the church power lacks in some area's. Test me, let me prove to you that I'm capable of keeping up with work in the order of Salamander

As the scene would continue to unfold before the Spring Deacon's firm gaze, Thaddeus couldn't help but allow for himself to smile a bit. Watching Amelia stand up for herself in such a way.. It was truly an inspiring sight. Although he had been unsure as to whether or not he should trust Drusilia's judgement in the moment that Amelia was being bombarded, it would soon become clear that she had had the right idea. While he couldn't quite say it in this moment, the Spring Deacon had been quite proud of his protégé at the moment. In his eyes, she was clearly going to be capable of overcoming any trials that were going to be thrown her way. 'Atta girl, Amelia.' A soft smile would begin to overtake the Spring Deacon's lips as he had continued to watch everything that was going on with this initiation.
Despite the fact that he had just been giving her shit about her magic and the history of her family, after hearing what it was that she had to say in response, Aedolus himself had also begun to smile at the young aspiring nun. "So you'd like for me to test you, huh? Now that is exactly the kind of thing that I, myself, had in mind. I was thinking that testing your conviction before a Priest such as myself was going to be enough initially but now?" A small bout of laughter would escape the Summer Priests lips as he would reach back and grab ahold of a crimson spear that had been wrapped around his back. As his hands had firmly wrapped around the hilt of the spear, the pointed edge of the spear point would find itself lit aflame. "Now I'm thinking that we should put that magic of yours to the test..!"
Aedolus would find himself getting on up before making his way towards the door of the room that they had been in. "Let us take this outside. We can discuss this test of yours along the way. Much better to handle it outside of these walls. I can't have the Hoard of Gnome trying to come after me for accidentally burning down their church." Upon hearing these words, both Drusilia and Thaddeus would turn their attention towards Aedolus rather quickly. A small bout of scorn and contempt had dwelled within their gaze at this point but it wasn't enough to stir up any trouble. They had both just cared far too much for this building to allow anything to happen to it. "I'd be careful if I were you, Aedolus. You may be a Priest but talk like that can be quite dangerous.. Just focus on the task that brought you here and we shall be fine. This girl is the one that shall be tested. Now the building in which we devote ourselves to the Spirits. We wouldn't want anything to happen that would leave the Spirits in a state of unrest."

Finding herself faced with a bit of resistance towards her being in the church in a different matter than she expected on top of the one Amelia knew might come up made her freeze in the moment because of how he did it, the phase she heard in her dreams. However dreams were dreams, the past was the past, and the present was what you wanted to make of it, the future a reflection of all your past and present decisions. Amelia could have walked away and surely join the magic knights the next exam, but no that's not what she wanted, she dedicated herself to this and now it was time to see it through.
And so Amelia answered back, not sure of every word or how she was saying it but in either case saying it with conviction as they were the truth of how she felt and viewed the world, and the church itself. Amelia was her own person, what her family did, what hex users do, none of those things were her because she has done neither, she was an individual and she would not let the past ruin her present and future and she felt as if she had communicated that well to the Priest of Salamander, her hopeful superior soon.
More than that, she was never one for just words and the only thing that spoke louder was actions so on that thought Amelia didn't hesitate to tell the priest to test her and decide for herself if she was worthy of joining the order. She could hear Thaddeus "atta girl" and although she would have liked for nothing more to hug him for getting her to this point she couldn't as she stared back up at the taller older Priest. A smile spreading across the older gentlemen's face, it seemed he had only wanted to test how she would speak and act before him but with her own request to test her it seemed he was even more thrilled that he could get a bit more hands on in testing her.
Beginning to laugh Amelia noticed that the man was bringing a crimson spear into the fold, the order of salamander was often called the "spear", but she didn't actually think members of the order would have it, smiling as she watched the weapon she realized that she too could use her own and that thought almost blasted away all her fears as the excitement of battle seemed to take over but she took a deep breath and remembered she was doing this to join the order. "The spirits have always been by my side aiding me in battle, I look forward to seeing how they blessed you." Amelia said basically agreeing to fight.
Heading for the door the summer priest said they were going to take it outside to avoid burning the hoard of gnome church area, that small sentence deserving a big glare from Thaddeus and Drusilla, the latter making a point to tell the summer priest Aedolus to watch saying words like that and to do what he came to do and test her. "It was but a joke Drusilia, and believe me, I plan to test her, outside the church in a nearby large forest field. Come along if you both wish but from here on out.. please don't dare interfere with my testing.
And so the party of two up to four people began moving outside the room into the corridors of the church, the sound of echoing footsteps silencing the other members as they passed, the other members of the order whispering to themselves as they saw Amelia, her name tossed a few times and her job as a huntress ringing throughout the cities or people she helped but most of all her magic and some questioned if she should be able to join the order while others downright rejected her. As they passed it seemed the members were curious enough to find out about her and so they began to follow the group out. Making out of the church inside walls they began heading to the gate, the group of four now increased to about eleven people as the summer priest paid no mind to the extra stragglers and focused on the reason he was here as Drusilia said, the members that followed there's to deal with.
Just like the summer priest promised he lead the group to the forest and walked northeast until eventually they would reach a point past the trees that lead them to a large forest field, they were still surrounded by the forest but by some force or another about sixty meters in circumference was free of any wood or plant life to burn as Aedolus walked to the center of the field, "Were here." The summer priest said turning to face Amelia and then looking at the crowd, telling them with his eyes to back away. Once they did his eyes would fall back to Amelia
"Today, Ill be testing you on only two things, if you can defeat monsters as the order of Salamander is by all intents and purposes, the attack force of the order. We don't need anyone who can't fight. So.. lets begin." The summer priest said, grabbing the necklace on his neck he gripped it tight as he began to pour mana into it causing it to glow , the necklace lifting into the air off the summer priest neck as from the necklace hot fire began to pour out almost like liquid as the fire itself took to the shape of a lizard with sharp claws and what appeared to be a toothy maw, the fire lizard was so hot that the surrounding group could feel traces of its heat as it singed the ground where it stood.

Having heard the rebuttal that Aedolus had offered in response to her own slight, Drusilia couldn't help but feel a wave of irritation washing over her. Every part of the elven priestess had wished to surge forward and to berate the Salamander Priest. The only reason that she hadn't taken such an action was only to allow Thaddeus to save face. She didn't care about the fact that Aedolus technically had tenure over her when it had come to the Church. If it wasn't for the fact that her beloved had been nearby, she likely would have stirred up some trouble for the priest. In order to try and maintain a semblance of calmness though, Drusilia would instead opt to reach out and latch onto the Spring Deacon's hand. This would merit a curious look from Thaddeus but at least he hadn't objected to the action. "I understand.. Do what you must to remain calm. We cannot allow our personal grievances to interfere with her initiation," he would say beneath his breath. Rather than offer her beloved a response, Drusilia would only tighten her grasp upon the Spring Deacon's hand.
Both the Spring Deacon and the Elven Priestess would proceed to follow after the Salamander Priest and their ward, making their way out of the church and into the wooded area surrounding the town. Thaddeus couldn't help but think about how ridiculous a fight in the woods was when one of the two that would be participating in the fight had been a fire magic user. Given that he was told not to get involved in this testing situation though, Thaddeus had opted to simply remain silent on the matter. His gaze had settled upon Amelia all the while, her every move under his ever watchful eyes. While he had been aware of the fact that she was going to put everything that she had into this fight, he couldn't help but worry about her. Not just because of the fact that she had plant magic but because of the fact that he had known Aedolus' personality. Yet again though, there was nothing that he could say or do to try and aid his companion in her situation. Nothing more than perhaps a few encouraging words. "Amelia.. I know not how this test of his will turn out but I have all of the faith in you. Just push forward with all that you have and show them that you are worth it. Just like you have shown me that you are worth it."
An annoyed glare would be thrown Amelia's way by the Elven Priestess as she had noted the things that Thaddeus had just said to her. Drusilia wasn't exactly thrilled by the fact that her beloved had been speaking to Amelia in the manner in which he had. The grip that she had held on his hand would even tighten a bit more as he had said what he had, the tips of her nails digging into the back of his hand. This would lead to Thaddeus wincing a bit in pain, for all but a moment, but he would manage to maintain a rather calm look overall. He hadn't known exactly what her problem had been but he had planned to speak with her about it later on. "A reminder, Thaddeus, that she is going to have to overcome these tasks on her own. While I am sure that she appreciates the words of affirmation, it would be best if you were to allow her to handle this situation on by herself. It was her that had chosen to provoke the priest into testing them after all."
Not long after these events, the four of them would arrive at the predetermined location that Aedolus had initially set out for. It would seem as though the task that Aedolus had set for her was going to be a trial by combat. This was entirely expected, if the Spring Deacon was being honest with himself, and it was going to be interesting to see how Amelia had planned to overcome this battle. A flaming lizard... How typical of the Spears of Salamander. Not only had Aedolus been prepared with a spear but he had cast a spell that would invoke an idol that was akin to the spirit in which they had worshipped. "Hm.. I wonder what it is that she plans to do here. If I recall correctly, you said that her magic was plant magic, yes? Truly a magic unfit for the Spears." Thaddeus would slip his hand out of Drusilia's at this point. "I know that you may not have any reason to believe this, Drusilia, but I am sure that that tenacity of hers will surprise you."

Following Priest Aedolus to whatever spot they had in mind for there destination, Amelia asked a favor of one particular church member she had meet before in gnome that she did a favor for, she had crafted a new weapon that was she was going to use today, she could see the person with it covered in the crowd. Arriving to a large forest field the Priest turned back to Amelia, Amelia looking directly at Aedolus that announced the challenge would be defeating a monster since the order of Salamander didn't need anyone that couldn't fight. "If it's a monster than it doesn't count as a full church member meaning I can go all out and use my magic to it's fullest, correct?" Amelia said staring as the fire lizard golem formed in front of her, she could feel it's heat but she did not fear, in matter of fact she felt her heart race with excitement as her biggest challenge yet was upon her, Amelia basically asking if she could use her hex & magic as well.
"Suit yourself, what was it you said? Hex magic can be used for good? Show it to us then!" Amelia nodded and then heard Thaddeus voice, her head turning halfway not looking at him but showing she was listening. Listening to Thaddeus always put her at ease and to know he believed in her meant a lot to her, Amelia didn't say anything but she did nod and then with her next action she whistled loudly, from the crowd that had gathered a purple haired girl ran out with a long six foot and a half pole, bladed weapon covered from head to toe as the girl ran towards Amelia handing her the weapon. "I may not use a spear exactly.." Amelia said, as she then tore off the covering revealing Tundrem her steel glaive, blade slightly elongated and curved upward sits at the top of Tundrem roughly 18 inches. In the middle of the non bladed side a small gap. Taking a deep breath Amelia began speaking "From water to Ice, flow once more." while she began tracing the ground with her glaive, Amelia body becoming shrouded in light blue aura that seemed to flow around her specifically as the air around her grew colder to everyone surprise as she had just revealed she was a plant mage, grimoire sliding out of it's holster pocket it began to float mid air releasing a aura similar to dark purple in color as the mixture of the two elements created a kind of ominous feeling.
Amelia was cursed, but damn if she wouldn't use it to help others!
"Hmph, how vile looking, Helios, attack!" The summer Priest said to the fire lizard as it roared and seemed to dance and twist through the air rushing towards Amelia. Instantly Amelia suckled her teeth because the newly created fire golem lizard was fast, too fast for her to react to efficiently so instead Amelia slid her hand up her glaive and as the creature approached her she stood in place allowing it to slash her creating a partially deep gash on her mana skin as it passed her but in that moment Amelia spun fully around and thrust the tip of the glaive forward at the creature stabbing partially in it's back, the magic ice glaive able to effect the fire golem.
"Gah!" Amelia said with her arm twitching from the immediate pain of the gash on her forearm as she took proper form, right foot forward as she took a deep breath while her left slid further back, legs slightly spread apart as she spun the glaive in her hand facing it at the fire golem. On the golem itself where Amelia was one could see the golem get smaller. it was growling, Amelia slash didn't do enough damage to snuff it out but it was hurt alright. Taking a moment Amelia tore a piece of her lower shirt off, expertly wrapping it around her arm one handedly and tightening to put pressure on it as she took more careful breaths, Aedolus holding the golem back as he watched Amelia and his golem seeing that she was putting up a good fight but he wasn't through with her yet.
Meanwhile in the crowds whispers started to surface, it seemed Aedolus was using a golem that wasn't typically used on normal initiates, he was giving her a much harder test on purpose, some thinking he was testing her and others snickering as they thought he was intentionally trying to make her fail. Amelia was aware of this the whole time and even that Aedolus was waiting for her, "You look stern and you are tough but you are still a kind priest afterall~" Amelia said happily despite the difficulty this was giving her, Aedolus stern face giving way to a sly smirk, "Save your compliments and focus on the test."
Aedolus reached his hand out and the fire dragon maw opened up as a fire began to seemingly build up in it's stomach, Amelia seeing that and it snapped her to attention, Adjusting her stance Amelia grip tightened on Tundrem as she lifted it overhead waiting for the beast and then it happened, the beast finally releasing what it had been holding in a large swirling fire blast that gave off enough heat to make the gathering crowd sweat as Amelia stood right in it's path, with one single vertical swing the aura that had been around Amelia gathered at the tip of Tundrem and with her swing flew through the air right at the blast of fire, and the moment the two attacks touched..? Nothing, the aura Amelia had thrown was completely consumed, tapping the ground Amelia uttered the words "Grow" as the swarming mass of fire was about to hit her, suddenly a large seed was popping out of her book but it was too late as the fire blast hit Amelia full force and her scream could be heard through the forest as she was launched through the air a few meters away hitting a tree as the crowd split and move to allow the fight to continue without stopping. Amelia mana skin had been torn through but she was still conscious as her body slid down the cracked tree she hit and she grunted in pain but looked up, taking a deep breath Amelia could still feel that excitement mixed in with the pain as she began to stand up. "Got ya." Amelia said towards the fire golem as from it's side. a plant entity swiped it's claws against it causing the fire creation to screech.
The seed Amelia had made with her magic earlier growing into a full sized golem as Amelia stood up, her clothes had been partially destroyed and she was reeling a bit but she had to finish this. "Enough.." Aedolus said to everyone suprise as he watched his golem creation look like it was about to disappear, he had only wanted to test her a bit but instead he was shown much more than he had hoped to seen, he was content. "Enough, you have proven to me you do belong in the Order of Salmander. Although you have a elemental advantage you seem to have been well prepared to take on a fire mage, I wouldn't suggest taking so many blows but it seems you are capable of turning the tables.. Thaddeus was right, the order of Salamander would be honored to have you in our ranks."

Before the fight would even commence, Amelia had already seemed to have been taking various precautions. It was good to know that she was well prepared, especially for an instance such as this, but part of this whole thing had made Thaddeus feel as though she had planned this from the beginning. In truth, he honestly couldn't blame her if that had been the case. Challenging a member of the Church into testing her.. While he hadn't exactly condoned this event, Thaddeus could see the merit behind her actions. At least she was always thinking ahead. "Interesting.. I hadn't expected her to be so well prepared for this. Do you think that she had this planed all along?" With an annoyed harrumph, the elven priestess would continue to watch the ominous display. "It sure looks that way.. I'm quite certain that leading on and tricking a higher up is going to get her in trouble though. If she continues to try and manipulate the Church like this anyway." A sudden smirk would dawn upon the elven priestesses visage for all but a brief moment before fading away. "It's too bad that I'm no longer allowed to be the one to punish her for such an act."
Opting to simply ignore the snide remark that Drusilia had been making, Thaddeus' gaze would focus entirely on the battle that was about to unfold. While Amelia had previously been at an elemental disadvantage, this new weapon of hers had seemed to balance out the fight. If he were being honest, it was quite likely that she was actually managing to pull the upper hand now. Of course elemental advantages weren't always the factor that would decide the outcome of a fight. Especially not one like this. Although golems of lower levels had only really been considered semi-sentient, they were entirely capable of acting on their own after having been given a simple command. When it came to the matters of tests such as these, making their way across the field was all but a simply task. It is for this reason that Thaddeus hadn't been surprised by the start of the battle. The fact that Helios had managed to deal a blow to Amelia was the least of his worries, if he were being honest. The thing that had been strange to him though? Well ti had to be the fact that Helios had managed to bypass any sort of mana skin that Amelia would had had prepared. Did she simply not wish to protect herself? Well that certainly would have made things a bit more tense.
"Don't you think that it's strange that Helios had managed to overcome her mana skin that quickly?" A steady gaze would move across the field, darting from Amelia, to Helios, and then back towards Aedolus. Thaddeus wasn't exactly sure what was going on but he could tell that something here was wrong. Perhaps it was due to the difference in the type of golem but Helios shouldn't have been able to tear into the initiate's flesh like that. A soft sigh would escape from the elven priestesses lips as she would begin to think over what was going on. To someone as experienced as her, the results were obvious. "Well, my lo-... friend, that is simply due to the fact that Aedolus isn't using the same golem that he would have used to test another initiate. No, this is something that he only throws at those that he either has high hopes for or seriously dislikes from the get go. In fact, it was the exact magic that he had decidedly thrown at me when I was younger." The fact that the Summer Priest had been testing this girl in a similar manner in which he had tested her had bothered Drusilia for some reason. She wasn't entirely sure as to what it was that was annoying her in this moment but for some reason the entire thing had irked her. "With the way that he had spoken earlier about her family.. It better be that he has high hopes for her. I'm not too keen on the idea of having to tussle with other factions."
In Thaddeus' mind, there were a thousand ways in which this fight could continue. With that weapon of hers, Thaddeus had been quite certain that Amelia could overcome Helios and take her first steps into becoming a nun. Of course, at the end of the day, it would all come down to the level of experience that Amelia had built up over time. She had proven to be quite proficient with these glaives of hers when the two of them had been in that dungeon but here and now? Would it be enough? Thaddeus honestly couldn't say and as such, he would simply have to keep an eye over her each and every action. Even a single mistake her could spell disaster.
It was as the Spring Deacon and the Elven Priestess had been watching Amelia that the former huntress would pull a move that no one in the field had been expecting. Utilizing her plant magic, Amelia had managed to propel herself directly towards the flame golem and would manage to get in a rather decent cut! Not only that but the thing that had propelled her... Was that a golem of her own creation?! This was the first time that Thaddeus had ever seen Amelia utilize golem creation magic and it had filled him with pride. He had no clue that she was even capable of such a thing. To see her overcoming the trial that was placed before her with a magic that was so similar to his own.. For some reason, it was enough to bring a slight stir to the Spring Deacon's heart.
With the trial having come to an end, Thaddeus would begin to move towards the two mages. In fact, most of the crowd had begun to rush on over to them! Various nuns and deacons had found the trial to have been quite invigorating. Witnessing the strength of a newcomer to the Church was always a reassurance to them. Many congratulations would be offered up to the newfound nun from various members of the crowd. After offering their congratulations though, these members of the Church would eventually wander back towards the main building so that they could get back to their duties. "You did good, kid. I'm extremely proud of how well you did out there. Even if the fight didn't last all that long, it just goes to show how well you are capable of properly utilizing her magic. Really looking forward to spending more time with you after you get your schooling out of the way and are officially welcomed into the Church."
At this point, Aedolus would decide that it was more or less a good enough time to offer his congratulations as well. "It is as he says, Amelia. Once you get your schooling out of the way, you'll be more than welcome in any of our mainstay churches. The places in which you'll have to choose from will simply be Aries Garse, Hapshass, and Sosshi. If I am remembering correctly, we should have a young woman by the name of Lena that was recently brought into the fold in Aries Garse, if you are looking for companionship. Either way, just let me know when you are willing to head out. I'll have to bring you away for schooling for a bit before sending you out into the world." Of course Drusilia also had her two cents to add to the situation. "Right.. Of course. I'm sure that it'll be quite... the experience to have you out in the field with us. Do try and hurry along with those lessons of yours. Or don't..!" Taking a moment to rest her hand upon Thaddeus' upper arm, Drusilia would offer Amelia a sly smile. "I'm sure that I can keep Thaddeus here occupied in the meantime."
Still unsure of exactly what it is that Drusilia was trying to convey, Thaddeus would simply ignore her words and return his attention to Amelia. "Whenever you are ready, I'll be sure to bring you out on several missions with me. Together we'll rise in the ranks and overcome any of the challenges that are set for us. No matter how long you do decide to take, I'll wait for you." A soft smile would be offered to the newfound nun before Thaddeus would spin around and begin to head off towards the church. There were several new members of the church, according to Prisha, and he was going to have to go out of his way to meet each and every one of them. In his mind, there was no time like the present.

Reeling a bit as she got up Amelia licked the inside of her mouth and spit out of some blood from being knocked on her ass as she got back on her feet, the crowd cheering for her and congratulating her even thought she didn't win but still passed. not one for attention Amelia kept flashing her eyes through the crowd trying to see Thaddeus, the one person cheering her on from the start. Peering over a few people she could see him and smiled, but then the crowd suddenly thinned as they returned to their duties, Amelia wide smile fading for a softer one as Drusilla, Thaddeus and Aedolus approached her
After that win Thaddeus spoke first, she sort of cringed inside as he called her a kid after all that but he did it in a good place, the fight wasn't long but she did good and he respected that, and she liked him for respecting that, as for Drisilla it was clear she wanted as much time alone as Thaddeus as possible..but..Amelia didn't like that, she didn't know exactly why but damn if she would just let Drusilla take him from her for that long. "Thank you Thaddeus, I look forward to it as well. Ah, by the way after my training my birthday will be coming up soon. You're have no choice but to see me as a women, of the church that is~ As for you Drusilia, no, senior~ I'm quite the quick learner and ill be back on the road in no time, in fact me and Thaddeus made a promise to travel on the road together, a member of Salamander and Gnome teaming up, don't you think that be nice~?"" Amelia smiled at Thaddeus although she was slightly annoyed still, her eyes shifting to Drusilla as a sly smile hit her face even thought the girl was her new superior.
Anyway it was unfortunetly time to go Thaddeus making a promise to take her on several missions for them to rise through the ranks together, "A promise is something that can't be broken, i'll be looking forward to it Thaddeus. Farewell for now." Amelia said, going with Priest Aedolus to her new home in the order of Salamander.
