Taiyo Vermillion - My Burning Passion is to be the Best!
Taiyo had shown up to the event with Lucia. They were late considering when the event started. Even so, it couldn’t have been helped since he had been tied up with the responsibilities of being heir to a family. He knew that someday those responsibilities were going to multiply when he became the head of the family. He was preparing for that time but was he really ready for all of that responsibility? It was possible for him to be ready but the truth was he wasn’t ready. There was still so much he had to learn and he was willing to learn. Maybe he should speak with some others that know a thing or two about being the head of a family like Hania or even his captain, Ardere.
On arrival, the person he went there to support, Amaya Ravencrest, told him that he was late, which he already knew. She went on to speak on how she was happy that he was able to make it. Sol added that it was good to have Taiyo there with them as the more friendly faces that were there, the better. Amaya spoke to Lucia letting her know that it was good to see her before thanking her for getting Taiyo to the event. She told them both to enjoy before showing off some lanterns, letting them know that if they channeled their mana into it that it would glow. She even got Taiyo a lantern which he took from her with a smile. ”Thank you. I can’t wait to see the color either. Also, pink is a good color. I don’t see why you keep making a fuss about it. Anyway, here goes.” Taiyo poured his mana into the lantern which made it glow a vibrant red hue. ”And somehow I’m not surprised that it’s red. Most things about me somehow relate back to the color red and while it can be a bit annoying to see red everywhere I look, I guess there’s a reason for the red in my life. I’m confused though, what does red mean? Is it something good? Something bad? Something in between?”
Hotaru greeted Taiyo letting him know that it was nice to see him and then she turned her attention to Lucia, letting her know it was nice to meet her. She then voiced that she was taking her leave before she left. It was at this time that Amaya told Sol to take Joseph to the drink stand to make something that would surprise her. Taiyo looked over at her and then at the guys. He was hoping that there wasn’t some sort of alcoholic mixtures since he didn’t need them making her something that would make her drunk since he’d probably have to take care of her and then tell Hania why his cousin is drunk. That was the only reason he didn’t want her getting drunk. It was all about what he would have to say to Hania. Taiyo had to decide if he was going to go with the boys to make sure that Amaya’s drink is nonalcoholic or if he was going to stay at her side. Having made a decision, Taiyo leaned over and kissed Amaya on the cheek. ”Since I am aware of the flavors you like, I’m going to join the boys at the drink stand and I’ll mix your drink.” He smiled at her and folded his arms. ”Don’t miss me too much now, okay?”
Taiyo walked over to where Sol and Joseph were and walked with them to the drink stand. ”I am going to help you guys out in getting something to drink.” He wasn’t sure how the others would have felt but he was giving Amaya the space she needed to look for Hotaru. He could see that she was distracted by Hotaru walking away and since he wanted to encourage her going out there and making friends and connections, he had to trust her to do it. He also needed to secure the drink Amaya was going to drink for his safety. It was what it was. ”Since I know the flavors Amaya likes, I think I can make her drink while I make one for myself.”
While Taiyo was with the boys, Lucia wanted to venture off on her own to also enjoy the event. She smiled as she made a stop to get a lantern of her own. After purchasing the lantern, she poured her mana into it like Taiyo did earlier and it glowed. The color of her mana was aquamarine. The person who was in charge of selling the lanterns smiled at Lucia. They knew what the color meant and were willing to let Lucia know as well. “That color, it means wisdom, protection, good fortune, tranquility, and hope.” Lucia smiled as she held her lantern, looking at it, thinking about what the color meant and how it related to her. Rank & Element: Junior Class & Type: Accessory Magic Specializations: N/A Appearance & Lore: The Magic Knight Mantle is an Item in which Magic Knights wear to show the Squad that are in. Each Squad has a different color Mantle along with their own squad logo as well. When these items were built they were made out of a special material. A material that allows them to be unbreakable from any sort of attack, but does not block the wearer from any attacks. Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom have worn these Mantles for Hundreds of Years. Abilities:
Rank & Element: Senior ¦ Weapon (Longsword) Class & Type: Imbued ¦ Cosmic Magic Specializations: Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Appearance & Lore: This weapon is an unusual one, crafted by the Clearblade family out of a single piece of tempered ice, outside of that they didn't give details other than how to activate it, element, specializations and what it could do. They also informed us that there is room for growth though it can not be further tempered or it will be broken. The sword itself from tip to tip is 130cm (51 inches) the blade alone is 110cm (43 inches) long making the hilt 20cm (8 inches) in length.
Unlike most longswords, this one seems far lighter only weighing 0.07 kilograms (1.6lbs) meaning it could take some time to get used to handling properly if you are used to heavier weapons. The sword itself almost looks like it has been infused with lava and has sharp points at certain parts of the blade. The blade also has large portions missing, this may make the sword seem flimsy and easily breakable but this isn't the case, the sword has been designed to be a disarming weapon if not to break the blade of other swords trapped within those missing portions.
As long as you have the required element this item can have additional abilities added to it, however, it can not have its rank increased.
Name of the Ability: Northern Star Type & Uses: Trigger ¦ 6 Uses Rank & Specialization: Senior ¦ Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Mana Cost: 24 Per Trigger ¦ 45 Recharge Range & Speed: 80m ¦ 40 m/s Stats Affected: +4 Power, +5 m/s Description: This weapon is a strange one as it needs to be put into a semi-active state which is done by the wielder touching the top of the hilt, the instant this is done a gentle warmth seems to come from the blade, and a slight glow. To use one of the triggers the wielder need only utter the word "Burst" at the point of hitting the opponent or when swinging if further away. Either way, it will create a shooting star that is 6m in diameter that will deal senior rank damage to anyone it hits as well as doing severe frostbite and moderate hypothermia. With the use of the ammo rules, additional shooting stars can be created as long as the wielder has enough control to do so. In addition to this, the wielder will also feel lighter on their feet allowing them to move +5 m/s faster.

Sirius Hasapis - Respect yourself enough to know you deserve better
Sirius appeared to be having a good time as he jumped and turned, causing his golems to do the same. The stage was packed, and seeing so many people having a good time made him feel warm on the inside. He truly believed that magic only served to frighten and harm others. "Perhaps... just maybe... there's more to magic." A thought he continued to ponder as he danced incessantly to the beat of the crowd. But then his dark thoughts take over, and his mood fluctuates like the tides. Words that have cut deeper into him than any blade are constantly attempting to bring him down.
He briefly loses control of the golems and, distracted, slips to a tile and falls off the roof. As he falls, all he feels is the air pushing against him as he approaches the ground. He closes his eyes, feeling that this is the best option. Instead, he draws strength from within as he refuses to accept his defeat. A powerful response from within jolted him awake. With an open grimoire and one hand over the other, he then stretched his arms forward one more time. Conjuring a third golem, which rose just in time to lug itself off the twirling dust and to his master, carrying him and safely delivering him into the ground.
He simply hugged and thanked his golem on the spur of the moment. He forgot for a split second that he wasn't real, and it made him lonely. A sensation he had become all too familiar with since the death of his father. He tenderly caressed the golem's mouthless face. "Scatter," he said softly, and all the golems obeyed, turning to dust and scattering, dissipating into nothing, just as the crowd did when they noticed the golems vanish.
Sirius is walking alone when he comes across a lantern that appears to have been shattered as it fell. He knelt to it and inquired about its condition. "Hm perhaps there is no way fixing you... but perhaps something beautiful can be made in this new shape." His eyes began to water as he attempted to pick up the pieces and carry them with him, not knowing what to do with them. As he walks, he tries to figure out what it is and what it used to be, hoping that it will give him an idea of what to do with it. Although the shape of it gave him already a rough idea of what it used to be.
As he continued to walk, he came across the stand where the lanterns were being handed in. "So that's where they are..." he said as he approached the area where many lanterns rested. He tried to ask the nice lady nearby about them because he was curious about what they do. That's how he discovered that mana was the key to turning them on. The nice lady offered him one, but Sirius politely declined. Instead, he showed her the one he discovered. "I already have one..." he acknowledged as he went about his business. Meanwhile, the lady was perplexed and concerned as the young knight walked away with a broken lantern.
Sirius sat against a wall in a nearby corridor. He deliberated over what to do with the broken lantern. With concentration, he noticed how the lantern was sucking mana from him in small bursts that flickered on and off. He experimented with it, not knowing what would happen, and tried to pour a larger amount of mana into it. The lanterned cast a brilliant white light on the wall opposite to Sirius.
He notices that the light from the lantern is stronger through the crack it had. He turned it off and gazed at it as he came up with yet another idea. He managed to fit his old carved bird into the lantern. It almost perfectly fit. As he filled the device with mana, the light glows and a beautiful bird's shadow is cast into the wall. As he smiles contentedly at what the lantern has become, a tear escapes his eye. Meanwhile, the lady who was handing out the lanterns appeared to be hiding nearby out of worry. But instead s he simply smiled, unaware of what the boy was going through, a warmth filled her to see what the boy had made right before she walked away inspired. Meanwhile, Sirius continued to enjoy his new lantern innocently.

Sirius Hasapis - Respect yourself enough to know you deserve better
Staring thoughtfully at the illuminated cracked wall, but truly gazing beyond it, personal memories run wild in his sensitive mind. But his nostalgic journey is cut short by a commotion that was about to explode into a more unpleasant mess. Sirius, intrigued by what is going on, stands up and walks back to the local center where the festivities were taking place, but not before unintentionally leaving his one-of-a-kind lantern behind. He notices a massive crowd gradually forming and growing by the minute. They don't appear to be happy but instead begin to cheer enthusiastically for something or someone. Sirius forced his odd way through the crowd as best he could, but he was thrown back. Therefore, he decided instead to scale the roof of an adjacent house. The striking image became clear as soon as he was ready to look down from above.
A purple orca's noble knight appeared to undoubtedly have started a fight with a local civilian. Sirius could scarcely believe what he had witnessed. The noble knight efficiently delivers a powerful right hook, but the innocent civilian miraculously appears to be properly handling it admirably. However, it appears promptly that things allegedly took an unprecedented turn after a few swings. The noble knight who had been humiliated by a humble man stood up and instantly began to summon his peculiar magic. "What a moron!" Sirius's anxious eyes widen with baffled rage as he exclaims impatiently. He mustered the dauntless courage and sufficient strength to take a breath from his lungs and shout a necessary command. "STOP!" he yelled, but his ungovernable rage was blinding and deafening everyone around him.
Sirius carefully hopped off the gilded roof and genuinely tried his hardest to eagerly push through the boisterous crowd, yelling nonstop in the hopes of reaching them in time. The lively crowd roared and cheered so loudly that it was difficult for the young knight to naturally think. Sirius, fearful of being unable to stop it, Sirius used his natural adrenaline and jumped over a peaceful civilian, handling the rest as stepping stones to reach the center of it all. "Stoooooop!" he exclaimed passionately, leaping nimbly over them all.
He arrived just in time, much to his genuine surprise. He rose there with his arms outstretched, shielding the civilian from the knight's rage and magic. It's a miracle he made it through the intricate maze of people; he was invariably out of sufficient breath. He inhaled every precious second and exhaled every other second in an exhausting rhythm. “Do...Not…Don’t!” As he stared at the knight, he managed to scream at him. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, and by the time the noble knight belatedly realized who stood in front, he had already unleashed his magical attack.
Sirius could obviously defend himself, but he intentionally chose to stand passively in front and bear all of the terrible rage and damage. And all the while he was thinking of his father, he couldn't prevent him from getting hurt. But not this time... Sirius cracked a confident grin. "I made it this time..." he mumbled to himself. As the innocent civilian stood behind him, stunned and surprised by the kid's stubbornness and apparent recklessness, he took the direct hit and the watery spell proudly. The mild spell had taken its toll, and Sirius was drenched and scarcely covered in wounds. He carries out one step at a time, breathing heavily. He smiled gently as he taped his dear companion's plump shoulder. "That was one tough spell, but that's to be expected from..." His specific words are left unfinished as he briefly loses consciousness. The other knight though intercepts him before he falls.
The civilian ceases them before they leave. “YOU! wait..." his eyes well up as he bows in respect. "Sincerely, thank you!" he said gratefully. "There's no need for that," Sirius said, modestly smiling. "Besides, if it weren't for this hollow brain, I wouldn't have had to step in," he said, averting his companion's gaze. "Who are you calling hollow brain?!" The knight yelled, letting Sirius fall on his behind. "Don’t drop me, you moron!" The civilian laughed merrily, and it appeared to be contagious, as everyone else followed suit before spreading away.
The two knights continued to argue as they made their way back to their established headquarters. Sirius sneezed loudly just as they were about to promptly take another proper step. Meanwhile, the kind lady who was politely handing out the lanterns returned to the alleyway, merely hoping to see Sirius and his adorable lamp, but instead, she perceived how he had vanished, leaving only the beautiful piece he had created. "I'm baffled! why he abandoned it... It's best not to leave it alone here." She said this before seizing the lamp. "Did you get ill all of a sudden?" concerned, the noble knight inquired. "Not really," Sirius said uncertainly as they walked farther away from the festival.
Amaya smiled watching everyone kind of scatter. Getting a odd look from Sol when she requested for him to spend some time with her cousin and maybe make her a surprised drink. She smiled turning to her attention to Taiyo as she listened to him speak of how excited he was to find his magic color and its meaning from Hotaru. Amaya shaked her head "I don't like pink, it is girly and most everyone will not listen to someone who is so girly without some muscle behind her words." She spoke before allowing herself to relax seeing taiyo color wasn't too much of a surprise. "Taiyo I love your red as it is bright and comforting, its warm and tends to make others stop at the sight of it. Its my favorite color to have around cause it is your color and it reminds me I am not alone." she stated truthfully to taiyo as she let out a light laugh feeling him kiss her cheek as she returned the quick kiss. "Oh you may if you want, just try being nice to my cousin, make friends with him and his spirit" she spoke with a smile watching taiyo move towards the drink stand as she turned quickly on her heels moving after where Hotaru went from the group. [break][break] That took a lot longer then expected to get from the group for a little quiet time as she soon caught up with Hotaru as she smiled "Hey Hotaru!" She called over to the girl slowing to a walk beside the purple orca as she smile "You don't like crowds either huh? Sorry about that." She muttered feeling the need to apologize. She did invite Joseph and Taiyo for support as this was her first ever event she had done with her squad. Sure she was climbing the ranks but she was still so new at learning everything with dungeons and missions and how the magic knights actually affect the world around them. "So uh...hm What do you like to do for fun?" she asked feeling the need to have some conversation with Hotaru as they walked. Amaya never thought it would be so hard to spark some conversation as she never had a need to do so, everyone always came to her and started a conversation. That was a much easier way to socialize. [break][break]
