[attr="class","header"]Mystical Festival Experiments
[break] Kikka was still struggling with the aftermath of what had happened during the time they were surrounded by darkness, they still didn't completely trust the magic knights. The daemon Sven had made sure to cut the wounds deep so that his damage would last long after he had perished. He was a master manipulator playing everyone for pawns even if they had no idea they were in his twisted game of chess. [break][break] The Purple Orca were in the middle of creating a festival for the occasion, it was two years since they could celebrate fall, what was once a joyous and happy occasion now was having to be handled with kit gloves. Shadows and illusions still unsettled many and triggered adverse reactions due to the trauma. In addition to this, the infamous Eldritch Home decided to turn up just outside of Kikka putting many people on edge. It was then that the Captain of the Purple Orca reached out to the captain of the Coral Peacocks to inform her of what had happened and what he had planned. This intrigued the Coral Peacock captain quite a bit and she suggested that they mend the bridge together. [break][break] So now the Purple Orca and Coral Peacock squads joined forces to host a mystical experiment festival where people were encouraged to make things to keep away the darkness and welcome in protective spirits. Nothing would ever be harmful and was nothing more than to help put the pain of the past to rest finally.

Always on the outside, through a window lookin' in [break]
Never the right time, so the chance goes by again [break][break] A small voice sung gently to themselves moving through the crowded streets of Kikka. No one seemed to take note of the 4,8 Royal other then moving out of her way as she walked. Today was a special day in her mind. This town, This place had wounds the needed mending. She smiled with her eyes closed. Any anxieties she held of crowds or attention was none existent to Amaya as she lightly sung her song. [break][break] The lines begin to show when we feel broken [break] To move on we have to drop the pieces we're holding [break][break] This event held of weight for the young angelic user. She opened her eyes watching the various faces as she passed through the crowds gathering and moving out of her way. She could tell some was shocked due to her status as a royal being at such a small event others were in some disgust about the Light pink coral peacock mantle that was wrapped around her shoulders. [break][break] And no one is perfect [break] You don't need to be strong every single day [break] No one really knows along the way [break] That the best things in life won't be perfect anyway [break][break] Today was a special day for the purple orca and coral peacocks, today was a special day, The purple orca and the coral peacocks had planned an event uniting the two magic knight squads. Today was a day to help find a way to put aside differences, the hate, distrust and distain the people of Kikka held the towards the magic knights. Every citizen had a right to think and feel how they want. Amaya flipped the long braid over her shoulder to behind her. Today she decided to wear some clothing out of the normal for her. a pink and purple ribbon held the base of her braid tight to the nap of her neck while the two ribbons weave in and out of the braided reaching to the middle upper thigh. Pink and purple roses flowered in and out of the braid. her bangs rested towards the left side of her face with two long strands spiraling down either side of her face. [break][break] Chase the wind again, knowing just what they'll say [break] Don't carе anymore, can't stay still anyway [break][break] Her big pastel blue eyes held a calm sense of sadness in them. She was happy to be there yes, She was sad of the feeling she was getting of the crowds. Could such things be mended by a simple gathering between two squads. Many lost so much that was never going to be able to be repaired. Friends and Families were broken, memories and stories ended in an instant. Could such things ever be undone and mended? [break][break] The lines bеgin to show, when we feel broken [break] To move on we have to drop the pieces we're holding [break][break] Amaya wish she knew the answer to this question. She wasn't there when the darkness encased this town. She had no idea the events that took place that forever left this place bleeding and those in it with some hatred, some depression, some resentment towards others that couldn't undo what was done. Amaya adjusted her bangs a bit allowing the scar running down her left eye to show. She hoped today's events would help someone in some way. She wanted to be able to help the healing of this town and its people. [break][break] And no one is perfect [break] You don't need to be strong every single day [break] No one really knows along the way [break] That the best things in life won't be perfect anyway [break][break] Amaya adorned a more casual dress then her usual outfit. She was wearing a soft baby pink cocktail dress resting at her knees. the top layer of the dress was sheer showing her shoulder and arms with a short sleeve style and a solid light pink. various small flowers were emblemed within the sheer fabric. Amaya has spent a lot of time that morning assisting in preparing the event and setting up the decorations. The past hour she had been waiting for her usual company to make his appearance. Not having her vermillion boyfriend and often assumed bodyguard with her was odd for everyone that knew the girl. Why they stayed so close and often with each other was anyone's guess if it was not known to anyone of the deep friendship She put the boy through while he in turn helped her mend and grow to the girl she was today. He was her comfort and support and in recent return, She has allowed her own feelings for him to turn into their deep relationship into something more then friendship and only the cosmos knows where their destiny were to end. [break][break] Amaya herself was nervous of a dual squad hosted event. She didn't know anyone from the purple orca. She knew her squad well enough to having grown comfortable within her own mantle and her own standing. She hoped deep down to make some new friends within the other squad. Maybe something within this event will give her a change in a good direction.

[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] Sol was not a happy camper he was in his usual attire of black pants and a black sleevless shirt with his mantle on his shoulders but the albino was not pleased and the look on his face showed he was less then comfortable in the town he was in right now, while months had passed since that faithful day in Kikka the scars left on Sol were still healing and being back in the town where it had happened was doing nothing to help. Normally Sol avoided Kikka like the plague if he could but his adoptive family had heard of the event and had asked him to be a representative for them and to see how the town was fairing after such an attack. Needless to say it was recovering but he could tell the amount of love for magic knights other then the native ones to the town were at an all time low. The Blood mage constantly saw glares being pointed at his direction and while he had shrugged them off it still didnt help the feeling of hostility in the air. [break][break] Thanfully there were some that didnt glare but still seemed rather wary and then there were some that knowing he had been here ontop of his title had made people scurry away in fright due to his looks and eerie red eyes, “of all the places this had to be why did it have to be in a place I nearly got killed due to that stupid lionesses arrogance” he grumbled clearly still very irritated at the prospect of what had happened. Glancing up at the sky a soft look made it way onto the blood mages face as he sighed.” I hope those twins were able to rest in piece and that Sven is burning in hell like he belongs” he said more to himself then to anyone else since if he was heard giving pity to such beings no doubt he would be run out of town very quickly, even if Lydia had thought he was a turncoat he had proven that he wasnt and had only disagreed with her methods. [break][break] It had been all the sweeter to see her infuriated face when he was let out of jail without even a fine since he had done nothing wrong and even now he wondered if that still burned the woman up inside, for now he turned his attention to where everyone was gathering, the mantis was hopeful that this event would be able to distract from the location he was in but at this point he wasnt sure if anything could distract from the mental stress this place gave him. [break][break]
[break][break] An ornate katana with a twenty-four-inch (60 cm) blade. the sheath is made of what seems to be made of marble which has been carefully carved into and engraved with what looks like ruby, the base of the sheath has a gold kojiri. Just above the midway point, there seems to be a piece of onyx that has been set around the sheath, the top and bottom of the onyx seems to have the same white marble though it has been fashioned to look almost like fur or feathers. Connected to the onyx there seems to be additional ruby fastenings with ruby chains connecting one part to the next, near the top there is a ruby set in gold that leads off to three carmine red tassels. The handguard seems to be made out of gold leading into the hilt a hilt that is just under half the size of the blade that covered in lackered red marble before being surrounded in black ribbon with gold helm and small ruby beads at each crossing pattern of the ribbon. [break][break] The corrupting shadow was made using an unknown method outside of a certain noble family within Clover. This family has been shunned by many other noble houses because of their appearances and they macabre magic that they are born with so choose to remain in the forsaken region instead of the noble. Not a lot is known about this secretive family, it's hierarchy or its family mechanics and they aim to keep it that way, it allows them to continue doing what they are without too many questions being asked. One thing people will notice of this family is that when they pass their trial of adulthood they start wielding a weapon of some sort and how the dynamics of the family will change to that person. She hadn't been within the Clover Kingdom let alone a member of the Purple Orca when the events of Kikka had happened, she had, however, witnessed the aftermath first-hand. She had heard the horrible things the citizens had to endure, what they had seen and the distrust that they had towards the magic knights. She couldn't blame them for harbouring such thoughts or ill-will towards the people that not only seemed to have failed them but added to their pain. She didn't believe that her elder brother would willingly set people on fire but it didn't matter, it was the perception due to how cunning the Archdaemon Sven had been in creating his trap. Even though the threats had been defeated you wouldn't have believed it to be the case because the damage wasn't a burst but a seed and it had been growing steadily due to the tricks that were played.
The only squad that seemed to have gotten somewhat of a pass was her own squad, when she had enquired why they hadn't garnered the same amount of ire and scorn as the others she found out it was because the squad had been targetted before the city as a whole had been. They couldn't have helped. It made sense, but she knew her squad headquarters the place was like a fortress, there were corridors, doors and rooms that you wouldn't know about unless you were a member of the squad, even then she was sure that there was still plenty enough hidden from people like herself. They were the defence of the kingdom and so those attacking would look to take them out quickly, quietly and first of all. It made it harder for the kingdom to mount a stable defence as attackers normally could only do so much.
It was quite strange for her to hear that her squad wanted to help heal and mend the bridge between the citizens of Kikka and the magic knights, what made this more bizarre was that the Coral Peacocks threw their hat in the ring to offer to co-host a festival. It wasn't to be anything like the one that the Green Mantis held as they more lay in tradition and superstition but something more light-hearted that would help the citizens feel safer. She had no idea how the hell that was going to happen, but, she was curious to find out. It wasn't exactly like she had any decision on the matter after all she was still a junior member of the squad and she had bigger problems to deal with. She hadn't bothered to dress up, she was wearing a red yukata with golden leaves seemingly fluttering down at random areas.
At current she was minding her own business as she walked down the street taking in the sights and sounds, strangely, even now the streets seemed full but people were obviously cautious given that the evening's darkness was quickly approaching. There was a stall that was offering lanterns without flame. She listened to the vendor telling people nearby to take one and put some of their mana into the lantern to make it work. Not only would it cause light but it would take on the colour of their element and keep them warm. She moved over and smiled accepting one of the lanterns. When she moved her mana into it, it sparked a white flame within it, this caught her off guard due to her element but remembered her element covered a lot of different aspects, it seemed as if hers decided moonlight suited her best, that, she didn't mind.
[attr="class","demiscroll"] Amaya continued her walk moving around the event area, assisting when needed, while ensuring to stay out of the way of the cautious event goers. She wasn't hurt by their actions or looks towards her and the other knights as it was understandable. This event wasn't going to fix everything in this town but it would hopefully allow some healing to finally start making way between themselves as knights and the city that was still suffering with bleeding wounds. [break][break] Moving to the stalls she passed sol on the way forward before backing up. "Oh I didn't expect you to be here mentor? I guess it is more formal obligation then anything right?" She asked turning towards him as she continued her walk backwards " I hope you enjoy the festivities." She added with a smile turning on her heels "go enjoy the stalls, We got some assume things that can maybe help you enjoy the event we planned." She spoke with a smile, allowing her small figure to vanish within the taller crowds. [break][break] Amaya had managed to squeeze through the busy crowds of the stalled area before finding herself at an lantern stall "Oh I heard of these once from dad's stories." She said to herself in awe at the colors and design of the lanterns. she always enjoyed the items and arts of foreign kingdoms so much better them her own. they were always so mystical and strange but oddly relaxing and comforting in a lot of their methods and practice. Amaya watched the lanterns in awe before turning to the vendor "I will take two please and here is to cover for how ever many more will be possibly asked for..."She spoke dropping a small bag of yul on the counter as she accepted the two she purchased. She smiled down at the lanterns, carefully picking them up before turning to her left, noticing a familiar figure [break][break] "Oh Hello...Your Hotaru right?" She asked with a smile having only meeting the girl originally at the spirit festival. Amaya didn't know why but this about Hotaru presence just called out to the young woman. Maybe it was her style that kind of reminded her of her cousin's own style. Maybe there was some sort of attraction from fate? Amaya didn't know why but something about hotaru actually made Amaya interested in wanting to know more of the female.. [break][break]

[attr="class","julienglass2scroll"] Sol was trying to get out of his own thoughts when he heard a familier voice call out to him and he blinked before he turned and saw his mentee Amaya approaching him, for a moment he was surprised but then remembered that this event was being held by both coral peacocks and purple orcas so it would only be natural that she would be here, when asked if it was a formal obligation Sol sighed before nodding.” my family wanted me to see what all would be going on though if I am honest I would rather be miles away from here, Kikka is a city that brings back painful memorys due to my involvement in the reclamation of the town from daemons” he said glancing at some civilians who seemed less then cheery at the prospect of all the knights in town.”and as you can see it has created quite a rift between the people and the knights its something that will take years to fix if it ever does” he explained with a sigh. [break][break] He decided to follow Amaya since it was better then being alone with his thoughts and as they moved thru the market place together the blood mage noticed quite a few really interesting pieces of merchandise before stopping with his mentee and saw the lanterns and took one as well hearing how it will react to magic and he would smile before he glanced and saw a familier face.”Hey Hotaru its been a while” he said before he saw her lantern light up with a white flame that was rather pretty to look at.” such a lovely color to it lets see what mine will have” he said as he would push some of his mana into the item and the lantern lit up with a deep yet vivid blue flame and Sol blinked before smiling.”ah thats right blood without oxygen is blue heh guess that makes me a blue blood” he joked at Hotaru with a small laugh [break][break]

As Hotaru took her lantern she started to walk away when she heard a somewhat familiar voice and stopped in her tracks to look in the direction it was coming from. She had to admit it was quite hard given how busy the place seemingly had gotten but she wasn't going to complain, it was good for commerce and it meant that people were finally comfortable to be out in the dark somewhat. Then again, the lantern she was carrying with her was unique and nothing like she had seen in her homeland. It required people to put their mana into the lamp to give it the flame that lit it, this meant that the light would never wane unless the person in question dropped it or ran out of mana. She remembered some of her squad members speaking of a former Purple Orca member who made such lanterns.
If she recalled the woman's name was Charlotte and she had been burned alive within her house for things out of her power. From what she had been told even as she burned next to her child she used shields to prevent the fire from damaging any other house near her own. She couldn't imagine the strength the woman had to have had to be able to do that while she knew her fate. She was told that the woman was strong and wise and when she heard people asking why didn't she just fight her way out the only thing she could think to herself was what good would that have done? Her fate was sealed, they would have destroyed her one way or another this way she could contain the damage and prevent any other innocents from being harmed by the actions. Although, she had to wonder about the woman's feelings toward those who done such a heinous act to her and her child.
From her understanding, the house went up for auction but no one would buy it within the town of Kikka, then again, she couldn't blame them if they had a conscious that was but there were likely those who still blamed her for what happened during the daemon attack. The house was quickly bought by the head of the Lilygate who restored the home to how it once was and rumor had it she had every intention of turning the deed over to who she believed to now be the rightful owner, Valo Stark. That was neither here nor there and none of her business as far as she was concerned. She just hoped that the spirits that were created within the house found their piece and that Valo wouldn't be stricken by the pain of the past.
"Yes, I'm Hotaru. You are Amaya if I recall." she said with a warm tone, she had only met the snowy-haired woman on one other occasion and had enjoyed her company even if she wasn't too sure what was going on in regards to the spirit festival. "You need to put your mana into the lantern to make it light up." she said looking at the unlit lanterns she had in her hands. "It's fascinating as it can show you the colour of your mana without your element attached." she said holding up her white lantern "Hello again Sol." she said looking as he lit up his lantern "Yours is a very vibrant blue it's a good sign for wisdom." she said looking at her own white one again "White stands for purity, although, I wouldn't have expected it for me." she said her hand clutching it tightly.
"It seems as if it is your turn to come to an event held by our squads, I do hope you enjoy yourself." she looked up to him, she was decent at reading body language, it came in handy when it came to trades and negotiation and so she could tell he wasn't really wanting to be there if he could help it. She had read the reports that were heavily redacted about what happened within Kikka and those that had taken part. It didn't really give her much information but it did say that the daemons used trickery so adding that with the darkness would be enough to make anyone jumpy as far as she was concerned. "There's potion making over there." she pointed to a nearby drinks stall that had everything needed to make your own concoctions, she had to admit it did seem like a lot of fun.
"Yes I am Amaya, I am so happy to see you again and even to be doing this event with you as well." She spoke with a smile as well before looking down at the lantern in thought as Hotaru explained what she should do as she placed down one of the two lanterns before gently holding the one still in her hands. She closed her eyes focusing her mana into the lantern as it came to life allowing a light pink glow to come from within as she opened her eyes "Oh that is ironic." She said with a light laugh. She wasn't one who liked pink. It was childish like, girly. She wasn't girly...or at least she attempted not to be but she knew the truth, she very much like pink and being girly. [break][break] She looked up from the lantern before looking between Hotaru's own and Sol's. "White is so pretty." She said with a smile before looking over at sol's "Oh I wouldn't have figured blue for you. I could see maybe a purple but I think it is a nice color for yourself." She spoke adjusting the lantern into her hand before grabbing her other one again "Taiyo did say he was going to be here today for support, so I wanted to get him one as well." She said with a smile, now curious what his mana color was. "Oh by the way Sol, thankyou for coming out for support. I am sure you know of this place and its pain more then I do but hopefully this event will help the citizens no longer be scared of the dark and allow their wounds to finally heal." She added before returning her attention back to Hotaru "Would you like to enjoy this event with me Hotaru? I am quite interested in possibly getting to 'expanding my social circle' as my hand maiden Annabel says I should." She spoke. She was confused internally why she was drawn to Hotaru. Amaya always avoided others like the plague, but here she was wanting to know to get to know Hotaru even more. Was there something wrong with the young royal?

Joseph was dressed in plain clothing, a white button up shirt with red buttons, tan pants, red buttons, and a red belt. The only thing that wasn't plain had been his golden dawn mantel, something he doubted anyone could make look humble or simple in any way. There was a stuffed pouch filled with herbs on him, but no big bags or anything. He wasn't planning to buy anything big, so the lack of any big bag shouldn't be an issue. Today was certainly a day. This was a place he almost died in due to another persons pride. There had been a fear in him of the situation, so the man hadn't been one of the original volunteers. Instead, he had signed up as a sort of replacement to send in case it was needed. Such a thing had happened relatively quickly when he wasn't sure at the time if it would happen at all. All the captains ended up as the big voices, nobody having much in the way to cut in until the groups were divided. If Lydia hadn't shown up he was sure he could have found a way to motivate them, all they needed was motivation after such a big scare. Their eyes scanned everything and everyone around. There was a time he would go unnoticed, but it seemed to no longer be the case. At the least, he wasn't anyone's main focus, merely a person that had been noticed.
he weather was cold, but not at winter temperatures yet. Because of that he didn't really feel particularly bothered. He held himself a bit stiffly, but it was harder to move fluidly in colder weather anyway. When looking at the city, it was definitely different than how it was in the past. It was no surprise that he didn't spot Hinota nor Valo there. Those two certainly had it worse during the mission to free the city of Kikka. Part of him wanted to hide, but Rizpaws gaze felt very apparent to the man. If the magic knight could hide himself than it might be easier to process all these thoughts and emotions. The small spirit walked near him with a confident and calm stride, watching him in a way that made the man nervous. Maybe it had been how she spoke to him after she first came out of the scroll that made him nervous, but honestly it was likely a bit of both. His walking and thoughts only drifted when spotting a few familiar faces. In one of his glances downwards, the deer shaped spirit pointed towards a stall. This didn't bother him much, it was certainly felt less pushy than earlier today. Sol and Amaya was near it with a stranger. He didn't want to bother them, but it was pointless to avoid activities and people. This was why the man quietly purchased one of the lanterns at a stall.
It lit with an indigo purple flame after he pushed some magic into it. This didn't exactly make him happy, their pale corpse like pink eyes looking down at Rizpaw. “You suggested this on purpose.” She didn't seem bothered at all by the look she was given. “I will also suggest other booths on purpose, it's called having fun.” That was.. “Oh.” It was one of those things he didn't understand all that well, playing around? Any negative emotions the man had before had quickly faded. The spirit had distracted him enough that she had successfully lead him to the group of people, not noticing until it was too late. “Hello, I'm Rizpaw, Josephs spirit partner.” Where Joseph was shy and reserved, she was bold and upfront. The man was starting to feel a bit pushed around by her, but maybe that was just their imagination. Signing probably wouldn't be a good way to greet in this case, but all he could manage out was a bit of a wave from their free hand. Maybe if he could get out of this, Joseph could continue to look around. It was probably bad to feel this way, but he wanted to look everywhere in the area of the city that the festivities were taking place. The man was just the type that felt a need to scout or map things. Also, being here he couldn't help but feel resentment for how Lydia acted there. He felt a bit guilty about that while around Amaya.
He wasn't sure if the two had even got along, but anything friendly meant she might not like how he felt that woman had mishandled everything that happened that they knew of pertaining to the release of Kikka. She contradicted herself without noticing and was unwilling to listen to anything that wasn't her way. They ended up being saved by someone elses bad mistake, a type of danger they only ended up in because of Lydia. Hearing about that probably wouldn't be nice if she did.

Taiyo Vermillion - My Burning Passion is to be the Best!
There were many things that could be thought of when they heard Kikka. The first thing was its location, the second was the events that took place there with the Daemons, another thing was The Eldridge House that popped up. Kikka’s people needed some good things going for them for a change. If they felt targeted by the universe, Taiyo would understand why they would think or felt that considering all the things that they had to endure. The Magic Knights could only do so much for them and even so, a lot of citizens who lived in Kikka weren’t very fond of those who wore mantles. It was not unexpected looking at what really happened during the events of Kikka two years prior.
When Taiyo heard from Amaya that both her squad and the Purple Orcas had decided to do a joint event in Kikka to try to mend the bridge between the Magic Knights and the Citizens of Kikka, Taiyo was interested. He wanted to support and help in whatever area they needed. That also included appearing and participating. He did let her know that he would be there in attendance. Knowing that she would have to be there earlier than most to set up and deal with other preparations, Taiyo knew he’d have to meet her there. That wasn’t much of a problem since he also had responsibilities he would have to take care of before the event. As the heir of a main noble family, he had to be involved and around for some of the political meetings as well as dealing with the paperwork that he was given. It wasn’t really too much but he imagined just how much more the head of the family would have it. The head was in charge of everything. If there were any issues, it was the responsibility of the head to find a solution. If a member of the family was out of line, it was the head’s responsibility to discipline them. Taiyo did what he had to do since the day he would need to step up and become head of family he would want the heir to do the same.
On the day of the event, just as he expected, Taiyo had some family responsibilities to take care of before he could leave the estate. These weren’t tasks that he could delegate and needed him to be the one to take care of. This wasn’t a problem for the young Vermillion heir as he took pride in doing what needed to be done. Luckily for him, if he needed any further assistance, his trusty personal assistant and friend, Lucia Mavis, was there to assist should the situation call for it. What the boy didn’t expect was the work to take so long to finish. There was nothing he could do about it, right? No! Well, then, he just had to do with it. With him already being late, he decided to go in his normal clothes.
Luckily for him, Lucia had been to Kikka tons of times and was prepared to accompany him this time. She hadn’t been doing much accompanying recently but that wasn’t to say it wasn’t a part of her job description. It was a minor part of the job and only when Taiyo requested it. As they were both a little sweaty from working, they temporarily parted ways and freshened up for the day’s events. Meeting back at the square, Lucia used her spatial magic to create a portal to Kikka.
Stepping out of the spatial doorway, the duo looked around for a bit while slowly walking. Luckily for them, it was easy to locate the group due to Sol’s height. With a grin on his face, Taiyo walked through the crowds of people with Lucia walking right behind him. The reactions of the crowd were intense. Some were smiling and didn’t care much about him being there and others were turning up their faces due to the mantle he wore. It couldn’t be helped that they felt that was at the time but maybe the event would be a good start to a better relationship between the Magic Knights and the Citizens of Kikka.
Taiyo and Lucia slowly approached the group. ”Hey guys! Sorry to be late, I got tied up with family responsibilities that took longer than expected.” Taiyo then stepped to the side to introduce his assistant. ”This is Lucia, my friend and assistant.” Ever since Hania destroyed him with words, Taiyo changed how he addressed Lucia and how she was addressed by others.
Lucia stood proudly next to Taiyo and waved at Amaya knowing the woman wasn’t one to enjoy statuses being in the way of interaction. ”Hello everyone, I am Lucia Mavis. I hope we can all not only enjoy the event but make it a success for others to look at the Magic Knights in a better light.” WC: 839 TWC: 839
Rank & Element: Junior Class & Type: Accessory Magic Specializations: N/A Appearance & Lore: The Magic Knight Mantle is an Item in which Magic Knights wear to show the Squad that are in. Each Squad has a different color Mantle along with their own squad logo as well. When these items were built they were made out of a special material. A material that allows them to be unbreakable from any sort of attack, but does not block the wearer from any attacks. Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom have worn these Mantles for Hundreds of Years. Abilities:
Rank & Element: Senior ¦ Weapon (Longsword) Class & Type: Imbued ¦ Cosmic Magic Specializations: Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Appearance & Lore: This weapon is an unusual one, crafted by the Clearblade family out of a single piece of tempered ice, outside of that they didn't give details other than how to activate it, element, specializations and what it could do. They also informed us that there is room for growth though it can not be further tempered or it will be broken. The sword itself from tip to tip is 130cm (51 inches) the blade alone is 110cm (43 inches) long making the hilt 20cm (8 inches) in length.
Unlike most longswords, this one seems far lighter only weighing 0.07 kilograms (1.6lbs) meaning it could take some time to get used to handling properly if you are used to heavier weapons. The sword itself almost looks like it has been infused with lava and has sharp points at certain parts of the blade. The blade also has large portions missing, this may make the sword seem flimsy and easily breakable but this isn't the case, the sword has been designed to be a disarming weapon if not to break the blade of other swords trapped within those missing portions.
As long as you have the required element this item can have additional abilities added to it, however, it can not have its rank increased.
Name of the Ability: Northern Star Type & Uses: Trigger ¦ 6 Uses Rank & Specialization: Senior ¦ Attack Creation ¦ Physical Reinforcement Mana Cost: 24 Per Trigger ¦ 45 Recharge Range & Speed: 80m ¦ 40 m/s Stats Affected: +4 Power, +5 m/s Description: This weapon is a strange one as it needs to be put into a semi-active state which is done by the wielder touching the top of the hilt, the instant this is done a gentle warmth seems to come from the blade, and a slight glow. To use one of the triggers the wielder need only utter the word "Burst" at the point of hitting the opponent or when swinging if further away. Either way, it will create a shooting star that is 6m in diameter that will deal senior rank damage to anyone it hits as well as doing severe frostbite and moderate hypothermia. With the use of the ammo rules, additional shooting stars can be created as long as the wielder has enough control to do so. In addition to this, the wielder will also feel lighter on their feet allowing them to move +5 m/s faster.

The blood mage had to admit this was helping him feel a bit better about being in such a place if only by a little bit but he knew that it would still take a while before the wounds of the city and himself would fully heal. Sol blinked as he heard Hotaru mention potion making “hmm sounds interesting and potentially chaotic shall we go?” he asked the group since it would give them something to focus on. [break][break]

Hotaru smiled a little as she confirmed she was indeed Amaya "It was surprising to hear that your squad was co-hosting this event with my own." she said with a gentle tone, she guess it did make sense due to the mansion-turned dungeon that was once under the control of the Coral Peacocks was on the outskirts of the town of Kikka. She watched as Amaya started to channel her mana into her lantern and saw a gentle pink glow coming from it "Pink represents unconditional love and beauty" she would inform the white-haired woman "I would like to believe that it suits you well." she wasn't attempting to make her uncomfortable or even comment that it may be because she's really girly at heart. Colors had several different meanings but she was talking more on a spiritual level from where she came from and hoped it would at least bring her peace.
She nodded hearing that Taiyo wanted to be there for support, she remembered that they were a couple so it stood to reason that he would be around. She could only listen as Amaya spoke to Sol. She wasn't around for the events that had transpired in Kikka and was still learning about what had happened to this day. She knew that even now people didn't like to be out after dark and wouldn't travel around in small groups and where there was light. "Did you take part in the events that happened here Sol?" she would finally ask, she hadn't looked at the reports as she was quite sure that they would be heavily censored for someone of her rank. It was when she was spoken to again she would once again turn her attention to Amaya though she was surprised at her question.
"I... I honestly haven't made any friends since I came here due to personal issues." she didn't want to go into what those personal issues were as it could and would cause many issues and raise many questions that she didn't want to go into for several reasons. "I would like to experience this festival but we are on duty aren't we?" she would question the other. She had no idea what the rules and regulations were for those in their squads as it was nothing like what the Green Mantis had held recently within their own little town. "I guess if it doesn't interfere with our duties to the citizens then there is no reason we can't enjoy the festivities too." she said thoughtfully, she didn't want to prevent her chance to make a friend but she wanted for her priorities for tonight to be set. She knew that Amaya would be the same but she wanted to be sure.
She watched as a stranger came closer to claim his lantern and watched as it turned indigo "Wisdom and intuition." she said more to herself than anyone else, she was quite unsure if anyone was paying attention to her at that moment. "It is a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Hotaru." she said not wanting to speak to the others, she was quite sure that they likely knew the pair if not at least Joseph. Soon enough Taiyo and his assistant also joined the group, it made the young woman start to feel a little overwhelmed as she didn't exactly like being in large groups of people it felt very claustrophobic to her "It is nice to see you Taiyo and to meet you Luicia but I think I will take my leave now." with that she didn't bother to wait for any replies or for Sol to speak before she started to walk off down the street.
"Hello to the both of you, thankyou for showing up for support Joseph and Nice to meet you rizpaw." Spoke Amaya noticing her tall cousin and his spirit. She found it out to have such a bold spirit, but it actually might help Joseph interact better "Joseph, if I may, while it isn't something I would be use to with having a spirit, I think this one really fits you and will benefit you greatly with getting to become more sociable. It will be awkward at first, much like our first meeting, but just know I am rooting for you and I know you will do great getting to let others know yourself better." She spoke to her cousin with a smile before turning to Sol as she nodded [break][break] "Such things aren't going to heal over night and while I have no room to talk as I was not there to deal with the horrors of the daemon." She spoke turning to sol, "but allowing these wounds to not even begin to heal is not going to help anyone let alone smite the daemon and all he was to do." she said "Time is the best healer for these types of wounds. Understanding and patience is the best bandage." She spoke in understanding towards sol and his troubles. [break][break] "I know right, I was kind of suprised and kind of not suprised by the union of trying to heal this place. Thought If I may Hotaru, I would love to be able to call you one of my friends and maybe hang out with you at some point when you are free. I am sure I can make room in my busy schedule to possibly hang if you would like "Spoke Amaya blushing some at Hotaru's comment of her mana. "Pink normally isn't my color, in my opinion, but in a way, I think it can be fitting for my view of life in general." She spoke before nodding "Hey if we are enjoying the festivities together, maybe that will help others slowly enjoy the festivities as well, while keeping our ears and eyes open for any trouble." She replied [break][break] She smiled hearing the voice she enjoyed the most as she turned to Taiyo seeing him and Lucia "Your late Taiyo, but I am happy you managed to make it regardless." She said "It is also good to see you as well Lucia, thankyou for helping him get here." She added "Do enjoy the festivities. I have worked so hard with the others to prepare this festival with the purple orcas. I would have been sad not being able to enjoy a gathering of healing with those I care for." She added before holding out the two lanterns "See we got these lanterns that glow from one's mana. Ironically mine is pink. I got one for you as well Taiyo." She added "I am curious what your mana's color is." She added as her soft blue eyes looking over to Hotaru again. [break][break] She took note of Hotaru's body language before looking at the group. She always hated such crowds let alone attention, but she had gotten so lost in distraction of getting to know Hotaru and the festivities. "Hey Sol, Do you think you and Joseph can go to the drink stand and surprise us on what you both can make? It would be a great bonding experience and would help Joseph make more friends. " She suggested. She kept a close eye on Hotaru in what direction she had left to. She was a bit surprise in the note of Hotaru not like crowds as that was normally an Amaya thing. Seeing another doing it was so weird to her.

Sirius Hasapis - Respect yourself enough to know you deserve better
He was similarly dragged to the event as the rest of his pals, and he sat on a neighboring rooftop and watched the others from a distance. He studied them and made an effort to comprehend them; in some ways, he succeeded. He is aware that their sorrow is not the same as his, though, comparing the two might not be helpful in this therapeutic endeavor. But what can a regular person like him do? He pondered. He had not yet encountered an adversary that required no combat. Because he was unable to empathize with the residents of the area, he naturally asked himself, "How do you combat pain?"
After his father was taken, he eventually gave up on the idea that things would better. He decided to handle things himself instead. He put in a lot of training and managed to secure a position with the purple orcas. “Tsk! What a hassle”, he thought, turning away from the townspeople and staring up at the sky out of boredom. “Who would have thought that if I joined them, I would also have to bear their sins?” Just as he let out a tired breath, he spoke to himself. He started to sense the weight of the purple mantle he so proudly wore, the duty that came with it. Then, after giving himself a good smack, he tried to see the situation as a challenge and pushed himself to think of a way to assist.
He was aware that sometimes pain persisted. He examines his hands and wonders whether he was broken. "Sometimes... if you harm someone deeply enough, they break," he says. As soon as he noticed a falling star burst through, carving its own course, he grinned and said, "Now that I think about it, what's wrong with being broken?" Thinking back on his background, he recalled how his father tended to keep broken components rather than discard them. A young Sirius observed and enquired as to why he had accumulated so much trash. “There’s nothing wrong with being broken”, his father retorted. “Some things aren’t meant to be whole. And some things don’t need to be fixed.”
Sirius smaller version was unable to comprehend this. His father came down to his level and showed him a lovely bone carving of a bird. “Although this piece was broken, it could still be used for something completely different. Here, take it.” Although he was still a little boy and unable to understand his father's words, he showed disdain towards his new toy. When he awakens to his present, he pulls the same carved bird out of his pocket, but time has not been kind to it. Although there were a few tears here and there, he still treasured it as much as he did when he first got it.
He exhales in amazement while gazing gleefully at his small and outdated toy. He grinned in answer to an idea that suddenly entered his head and excitedly stood up where he was. With an open grimoire and one hand over the other, he stretched his arms forward. “Come forth!” It appeared from within a swirling mass of power. From the whirling bone dust, two anthropoid golems formed entirely of bone rise. Sirius then gives the order to reveal themselves to the public. Before jumping and landing on top of a nearby stage, they rapidly ran by the audience without bumping into anyone or pushing them.
The puppets stood in front of them, above a large, rustic stage, they gave the audience blank looks. Sirius was already giggling at their response, but he restrained himself long enough to give them one final order. He commanded with power and control, "Mirror Master! He soon started dancing erratically, and the puppets imitated him. People started laughing at the ridiculous golems as he made the puppets dance amiably to the music of the festival. Near the stage, a slowly growing crowd of people, including knights, appeared to be having fun. Unable to identify its source, the constant infantile giggling made the area around the house Sirius was standing on a little unsettling.
Applicable Perks: Mana Conservationist, Ease of Creation
Description: With an open grimoire and one hand over the other, the caster stretches his arms forward summoning a golem that consists solely of bone element. Hollowed and thin the creature stands 5'8" tall and materializes within a swirling mass of magic. Upon its creation, the caster can control the golem with ease and command it to perform various tasks. The anthropoid puppet carries a cloud of bone dust for a cloak and an astomatous mask. The golem also wears two spheres like earings that rattle as they move, producing sound. When given a command the golem changes stance and instead charges like a wild boar alongside its long, piercing blade. The nail is the primary weapon of the golem, wielded aggressively by its right arm. The double edge blade is 2m long and is crafted to end at a sharp point. The pommel is horned and the hilt curved. Swiftly, and ruthlessly, the construct scurries ahead carrying his master’s orders without any disinclination. Per the Golem rules, additional Golems can be created when using this spell based on Control Stat to the maximum based on the rank of the spell, 5 being the maximum at Junior. Each Golem can serve as transportation if necessary, but is limited to 1 passenger each and can only move at 5 m/s while serving as such.

Taiyo suddenly going up to the group was a little unexpected, but not by much. Their personality seemed bold and unafraid or unaware of the possibility of rudely interrupting anything. Maybe it was a good thing that red head hadn't noticed him at all. At the least, listening to Sol made the young man feel less inclined to run away from the entire group, or even sneak off. “We were already in a very dangerous situation, but Lydia put us in a worse situation by not listening to anyone and making excuses that didn't line up with facts or reality. We were almost killed because of her negligence. I wasn't scarred like you Sol, but it did make me quite angry at her. Her actions quite possibly made the trust in magic knights just a little worse. It was like talking to a wall that refused to take accountability or look at a reality that wasn't crafted by her word. Her joining the azure deer felt like being pushed out of my dream by someone who didn't consider anyones lives to be valuable, thus couldn't be trusted. If it wasn't for Zaven, I wouldn't be a magic knight right now.” Even if he found out she was blood family with himself it didn't change what she did. It didn't change that she almost got Sol and himself killed for no other reason than her own delusions.
He was sure he meant well, he remember even saying as much to the group back then. Joseph had certainly even mentioned that the deamons were evil, but that didn't make them not complicated beings with their own ways of thinking, trying to warn that treating everything like black and white with a group that were good at deception was a big mistake. She couldn't see it, or hear it, even he was deemed as a deamon lover by her for not listening nor trusting her every idea. “The only reason I had the courage to speak to her like I did was events that happened while myself, Hinota, and some others were helping to save the city of Raque. Lydia was also there, it was one of the reasons I trusted and respected her before what she did in Kikka.” Angry was a good way to say how he felt about what happened in Kikka. If anger could be called a scar, than maybe the man was scarred like Sol. Whenever thinking of what happened and how everything unfolded, he was just angry. He hadn't been before, but at some point after leaving the Azure deer those emotions had manifested in the place of the great dissatisfaction felt before. It was all just different steps of the process that would eventually lead to forgiveness. That wasn't easy, but this was also something many other people there were experiencing different stages of there.
Maybe it wouldn't have been as upsetting if he hadn't trusted Lydia before then, or if she had at least regretted her mistakes at least a bit afterwards. The young man was pretty sure that the woman say no faults in her way of thinking, even as it seemed she had forgotten that the people of Kikka WERE part of the kingdom. Protecting them was their duty as magic knights because they were part of the kingdom, not just lives to ignore the suffering of or dismiss the possible deaths of 'for the kingdom'. Normally he would be iffy about saying any of this in public, but honestly? This was the place to talk this way. This was the place to talk about what happened and how you felt about it. Their deathly pale pink eyes looked towards Hotaru when she said the meaning behind the indigo purple color. Honestly, that was nicer than getting caught up in the connotations behind most shades of purple, royalty and wealth. “Thank you Miss Hotaru, that makes me feel a bit better about the color.” He wasn't going to go dress in all purple or anything anytime soon- or ever, but it was still nice. Joseph was pretty sure she said her name to Taiyo and Lucia, but it didn't mean the golden dawn member didn't hear it himself. Even if he was a noble by name and blood, it still wasn't how the man was raised.
But it was also something they knew was a possibility far before ever joining the azure deer. It wasn't a surprise, but still a shock. Its something he couldn't brace himself for, maybe because part of him had thought that the man would simply never find out the answer. But eventually they did, a blood relation to the person that nearly got him killed for the sake of pride and never being wrong. But Amaya was as well and Hania was also his family now. It was strange family, but nice. Amaya was as outgoing as ever, pulling their attention towards the white haired girl. His important cousin, a thankfully sheltered person. It was probably bad to be grateful about that, but it was far better than having too much experience too soon. “Of course I would come, even if I wasn't planning to run over and bother you. I believe in your ability to help and have fun. It's a lot easier to trust people when you see them doing their best, or getting a bit closer to your own level and having fun alongside other people.” He wanted to see the city heal as much as possible. It would be nice if everyone could heal, though ridiculous to expect everything to be solved in one festival. Every bit of a push in the right direction was a good thing, anything that could help the people of Kikka heal and trust the magic knights again. That trust was important.
He wanted to answer Amaya and her comments to not understanding. The man wanted to help her understand, but also knew that this comment she made had been aimed towards Sol. Was she expecting Taiyo? “I'm not sure what I think of my new partner Rizpaw, besides unreasonably pushy.” It sounded like his cousin liked the deer and Joseph did think she was nice, just.. a bit pushy, a bit forward. The spirit, as if on cue had already started walking towards the drink stand. Why couldn't he just go there in a few more seconds instead of now? Or at least bring up an issue with the suggestion. Better yet, “I'll go to the drink stand, but just remember I can't typically taste anything. It would be my fault if you end up with a sour or spicy drink.” A smile graced his face before he started for the stand. The man wasn't really the prankster type, but Amaya had practically set herself up while thinking of a way to get him and sol to give her a less crowded conversation with Hotaru. Joseph wasn't blind to any and all flavor or anything, how recipes typically went was a generally okay indicator of what flavors worked together. Maybe Sol would ruin his idea of pulling a bit of a prank, maybe he wouldn't. The peachy orange haired person wasn't sure, only that it was certainly an amusing thought to have that girl think twice before sending someone who couldn't really taste to do something that involved knowing how to taste.
