From before him right at the edge where the sand and earth connected a tree would sprout, it had very dark wood almost black as he grew and as it became a small sapling it sprouted beautiful blood red leaves and the mantis would look at it in contemplation as he thought to the upcoming battle ahead, he knew that the fight against lilith the witch queen was drawing near and with it the destiny of not only himself but his entire team and clover. Sol knew that if nothing was done then lilith most likely would not stay idle but would branch out and cause even more disasters. What worried Sol the most was that incidents like Kikka could happen again. [break][break] The mere though of it made the world tree mage suppress a shudder since he still had issues with kikka but thankfully most of them were now sorted out but the mere idea of another identical even was frightning. It made Sol worry as well about the other people in his life, he knew those like hania and valo were able to handle such threats but others he worried about his adoptive family and his birth family he worried for and his mentee amaya was another that weighed on his mind, she was becoming stronger by the day but against such a demonic threat it was questionable if it would be enough.”Time is moving to quickly and that day is going to determine so many things but will we be ready is the real question” he mused to himself as he sat watching the lake. Just above the midway point, there seems to be a piece of onyx that has been set around the sheath, the top and bottom of the onyx seems to have the same white marble though it has been fashioned to look almost like fur or feathers. Connected to the onyx there seems to be additional ruby fastenings with ruby chains connecting one part to the next, near the top there is a ruby set in gold that leads off to three carmine red tassels. The handguard seems to be made out of gold leading into the hilt a hilt that is just under half the size of the blade that covered in lackered red marble before being surrounded in black ribbon with gold helm and small ruby beads at each crossing pattern of the ribbon. One thing people will notice of this family is that when they pass their trial of adulthood they start wielding a weapon of some sort and how the dynamics of the family will change to that person. Amaya smiled feeling her face grow red from the compliment of looking good in traditional clothing. She still wasn't fully use to this style but it was part of her own acknowledgement and finding of herself as well as trying to understand others who only wear the traditional clothing such as Hino and Hania. She has found a greater understanding and finding of herself and the acceptance of who she was compared of what she felt she needed to be. [break][break] She looked up at the odd tree as she shaked her head gently "No no, it is quiet alright I like your version as well" She spoke with a small smile watching the blood red leaves contract against the cherry blossom's own before returning her attention to Sol, listening to him speak as she had never seen this side of her mentor, nor did she know why he was letting her see this side of him. However the feelings he was feeling was some that Amaya knew all too well. Maybe she was the best one for him to go to. Honestly, if you ask for my opinion, you are a great trump card in battle as you and your golems can fit almost anywhere that needs to be covered unlike Hino who will never raise a hand to harm another life nor like Hania who has his spells but even he can't be everywhere." If it is not for your belief in your golems and your magic then it is the belief of protecting those back home. Like me and the Citizens of Clover. I have no doubt in Hino's abilities but I will always worry about those dearest to me since life is very short and you never know when the darkness will come and claim those." Whoever. We can’t let that rule us. I wish I could say I knew what you’re feeling. Really I do. All I can give is a tale of my own. One that was a result from me 12 years ago.” She spoke slowly standing up as she adjusted her skirt some moving closer to the waters edge. “I can remember most of my childhood with no problem. It has been so many years but my parents voices are still fresh and strong in my memories. At times I look down long hallways and I can see my parents standing and waving for me to come forward. I can remember their embrace. We were happy infront of all eyes. I wasn’t raised to hold a blade other than enough to not cut myself. No they raised me to be a socialite to be an eye turner. To find power from the husband that would give influential gains to the family. At least that was their plans and wants for me.” She spoke closing her eyes as she raised a hand up touching the scar on her face “ there is a few days that are black and until we had entered that dungeon and the fears I saw brought something I had no memory of from the dark depths of my mind. I don’t know all the details but I know a black cloaked group of intruders were standing outside my window just as I have awoken. Hearing the glass shatter. I know I ran out of bad and out of my room. My mind is foggy but I know from what I have been told several staff died on my parents estate along with a glass spell aimed for me was taken in full force by my father. I could hear his gasp so audibly and clear I can still at time feel the pain where this scar on my face, beneath this makeup hides. I can still feel the warmth escaping my parents body as my unconsciousness claimed my memory." [break][break] “To this day, I still fear the dark, I still fear looking out my own bedroom window at night. Yet I know I am safe. That I am not that helpless little girl anymore. But that fear crawls up and my moms and dads last cries still ring clear when I acknowledge my scar. Yes, I can get rid of my scar but it won’t erase that fear, it won’t erase what happened in my mind. However erasing this scar will only do one thing, take one less notable piece from the lights struggle against the darkness of my fear.” She spoke gently opening her eyes before turning towards him. “I can face my darkness cause at the end of the day only I can take away its power over me. Can you continue doing the same?” she asked gently turning fully towards him before turning her head up at the stars Listening to his worries. She could tell these were much deeper then just his fear of events of his past coming back around again. These words were deeper. [break][break] “Honestly I think every mentor has that fear, the one of did I train her enough? Will all I taught her be used for the greater good? Only time can tell and all you can do is pray your guidance has stuck true. I know for certain I was already a master at using weapons such as my rapier, the Jian, staffs, daggers, bows, and more or less all things very light. However I have learned from your training of making my rapier an extension of me and not just a weapon I wield. You have taught me various ways and tactics to better fighting those in my way, the dungeon we went through with Taiyo should be proof enough” she spoke before she closed her eyes shaking her head lightly “I could get another mentor to take your place but you were the first one I choose on my own whim. I didn’t have Hania and his wisdom to choosing you nor did I want him to. I don’t need anymore mentors as the one I know that is a perfect fit for me is the only one I wish to be training me and that one is infront of me. I have never been a great judge of character as I am sure I attract those of great darknesses, As I believe it is very much my magic's natural attraction and yearning to help all those around, regardless of my own health and well being. To be something to help them find a way to contain to stay within the light and not be outcasted. Often I been told those like you are big omens. Your looks, your magic. Not something a royal like me should allowed around myself. However I think they are wrong because of one thing. I got to know and understand you in a way deeper then your looks and your magic. I got to know you so well to a point that I don’t feel I need to bear lady madness against the darkness of this world alone, that I can finally trust in my magic and the ones who I hold dear. Seeing you fight and bear such a burden of what is in your heart, has a great tell on your magic and while others like I have at first found your golems and magic scary. She was happy to be able to get some of her feelings off her chest but also to know that Sol appreciated her help as she was sure trying to learn of a family, one never knew they had for most of their life was hard. Her cousin Joseph was a perfect example. Nearly all his life, he was hidden away from their family, it was only until recently that she found out suddenly he was family and Amaya has taken it upon herself to try helping joseph adapt to their life style and ways as lesser royals. She was going to dive in just as much for Sol as long as he needed her to.
