It would seem like there has been some confusion as to how training of things such as ki, elements, relics, traps, spirits and their dives work and so I've been given the... wonderful task of clearing these things up for the citizens of Clover. *coughs* Now where to begin? Ah yes, the basics...

Don't you mages feel special to get a little section all of you're own? *ahem* It's on record that both summoner and sword magics are unique in that you are able to learn the elements of other mages within the world. There is a certain... etiquette even if it is... loose. How you do each thing in the checklist matters little to myself or my assistants who need to look over and update your paperwork so you still have free reign there we just ask that you do it to make our lives just a little bit easier.

- If you have placed a training thread in a certain area, please have it in that area, not in a different place entirely.
- If the place isn't listed in our records (the boards) then it isn't a place that you can go to and train. This isn't to say that you can't hint towards it. For example the far east.
- If you are travelling a long distance, then please give a reasonable amount of time unless you are having a spacial mage get you there.
- Yes, magic knights do get days off, however, their time off is severely limited due to their neverending demanding jobs. Please take this into account when saying you are taking time off.
- We understand that training can be boring and you want to make it more lively, but, when training we'd expect at least half the time to be done training. (This means we'd like at least 50% of the word count needed to be training)
- For the records we would like to see some detail on what you have done to learn whatever it is you are learning. I understand that some people feel like they must keep it within a certain limit but let me assure you this is not the case, there is no limit for this kind of thing.

- Asking if they can learn the element. I would like to mention that most mages may wish to know a person before allowing them to learn their element, but this isn't always the case.
- Once you've let your intention be known, the mage that you ask needs to agree. You aren't an imitation mage, after all, you need permission to gain what you want.
- The teacher, which would be the one with the element needs to teach you about the element. This is how it feels (at least to them), any sensations, how it reacts, and so on and so forth. This is to help you get a deeper understanding of the element you are wishing to learn.
- Once your elemental theory is done, your teacher will have to show you the element in some way and allow you to experience it via touch or whatever way you feel would be best for you.
- After you've had your tutorial, guess what, you get to do practical. You need to attempt to conjure the element yourself, don't worry if you don't get it right away, your teacher will still be with you and give you further support if needed.
- So you've managed to make the element appear and you're wondering what you should do next. Well, for summoners, I would say make a small golem and for sword users move the element around your sword, just to show your teacher you have understood their instructions and can manifest it practically.
- This one is optional for sword mages, not all teachers are able to do it and some teachers or students may not want to do it even if they they can. You can spar using the new element, all this means is encasing a mundane sword with the element for magical backing.
